I: Updates
5/19/03: Managed another update, completing version 1.1 of FAQ. Added the
Smart Shield (glitch?) to the blacksmithing list, with a rather detailed note
on that particular item.
5/09/03: Completed version 1.0 of FAQ, confirming Dragon God's place on
Anna's menu and adding the rest of the Blacksmithing items, including the Death
Ring. Also added Huang to the list of towns, even though there's no shops
there. After all, it does appear on the map. Oh yeah, and I had somehow left
out the G's on Rashkuta's item list, but I corrected that.
11/22/02: Completed version 0.9 of FAQ. Added the rest of the shops and
information on the Pretty Ring in the Yanmas Shop. Only need the rest of the
Blacksmith items now!
11/19/02: Completed version 0.8 of FAQ.
This FAQ was written as a quick reference to the numerous shops in the
game: magic shops, armor/weapon shops, and item shops. I got extremely tired
of constantly going into EVERY SINGLE LITTLE TOWN to buy one little item or
spell, so here's a handy little reference guide for everyone. Want to know
where to buy the Berserk spell? Can't find a Silver Trail armor? This guide
is the perfect answer to your questions. Simply Ctrl + F to find the item or
spell you need. Note that I am using Mana Sword's translation.

You can buy as many Pretty Rings as you want, but only one will turn into the
Royal Ring. For example: Buy 2 Pretty Rings and you'll get the Royal Ring and
1 Pretty Ring in your inventory. Buy 3 Pretty Rings and you'll get the Royal
Ring and 2 Pretty Rings in your inventory. If you sell the Royal Ring again,
you MUST BUY another Pretty Ring, as the Pretty Rings already in your inventory
do NOT turn into Royal Rings. Note that this is an infinite money trick. Sell
Royal Ring for 2500G, buy for 10G, sell again, etc. This is a VERY fast way to
buy the strongest Moon and Sun spells from Xuan. It's also a VERY BIG cheat!

*-This is a glitch, I believe. The Smart shield only appears if you are
playing as Mikhail and have ordered the blacksmiths while on your throne to
make the Dragon Scale equipment. This is the same Smart shield sold in normal
shops, like Rashkuta. It'd be incredibly stupid to trade one of your powerful
and rare Dragon Scale swords to get this rather junk, easily found shield. I
believe that this is SUPPOSED to have been where the Dragon Scale shield was
supposed to appear, but honestly have no idea why this is messed up like this.
Do NOT buy this! Another Dragonscale Sword or Armor is much more worth your
money, especially when considering the very limited number of Drgn Scales (3 in
the entire game).
