Well, this game's had mixed reactions. Some good, some bad.
The graphics are splendid. The gameplay is somewhat quirky, but it's a solid
platform game in my eyes.

Current Revision

1: First FAQ on GameFAQs for this game (yay!)

Previous Revisions

 0: Initial draft.
Only has the ANNOYING train boss
Unreleased because it's 2 AM and I'm tired.

Future Revisions (what I'd like to have on them, of course.)

Copyright notice

This document is protected by copyright, but to be honest, I don't care what you
do with this guide unless you are making money off of it in some way, in which
case you can kindly go to...(4 letter word, the place where bad people go - and
I'm not talkin' about jail!).

Note to Sunsoft or whoever holds rights to Sunsoft intellectual property: Make a
deal with Ted Turner. Remake this, and the other Warner Bros. games to release
on the GBA. Please. And when you do, put in a 'save' feature not unlike Mario
All-Stars where you can continue, or select any stage before the one you're on -
and put a percentage of flags found on that screen so there's some replay value.
Thanks for your time. And feel free to use my text to make some hints for the
instruction booklet!

CAST:

Road Runner
The hero of this game. The fastest bird I've ever seen, chomps down bird seed in
seconds, and can outrun nearly anything. Has a mean pecking attack.

Wile E. Coyote
The enemy. He wants to capture the Road Runner and eat him for supper. (He's
also tried to get Bugs Bunny but has failed, perhaps he thinks it's easier to
catch the Road Runner than it is to outsmart Bugs) You can never attack Wile E.
Coyote directly, so don't waste your time (or your hit points) trying.

Marvin the Martian
For some reason, Marvin's taking a break from whatever it is Martians do (which
includes attempting to destroy the Earth because it's in the way of his
telescope, or claiming Planet X, much to the chagrin of Duck Dodgers, but that's
another game entirely...) Road Runner can peck him once to stun him for a few
seconds. He gets around pretty easily on Mars, so you'll see him in a few
places.

MINOR CHARACTERS (Incomplete)

Instant      - Just add water.
   Martians

The Fat Lady - It's all over when she sings, and she can really hit the high
notes. Always clears her throat before singing.

---

Object of the game

Get to the finish line. Although, if it was that simple it wouldn't be a video
game - you'll need to pass through checkered flag checkpoints to get there.
There's 5 areas to the game which consist of 3 regular stages and a boss stage -
where you take on one of the Coyote's crazy contraptions.

The regular stages have a bunch of flags. In addition to being worth points,
when you touch a flag it becomes your respawn point if/when you die. Keep this
in mind - you want to get flags "in order" so you don't end up backtracking!

HOW TO PLAY

Useful actions:

Control Pad: Moves the Road Runner. Down to duck.
B: Jump
A: Peck
Y: Turbo

Useless actions (pretty much only for showboating but it's details like this
that makes this game special):

L: Beep-Beep! (Turned to screen)
R: Tongue (Turned to Screen)
Up and L: Jump and beep-beep! (well, not really a jump, but you'll see.)

THE 75 LIFE CODE

At the title screen, hold Left,SELECT,Y,R,START until "Zippity-Splat" appears
on the screen. You nearly have to have three hands to do it properly, or at
least I did ;-p

I got this from the GameFAQs code page.

---

Episode 1: Zippity-Splat
The familiar desert is where you run from the Coyote first.

Boss 1: Catapult
The blueprints show that there's a weak point at the front of the catapult.
Don't go too fast up the platforms because under the catapult is a bunch of
spiky bushes which will damage you for 1 point. Rocks thrown by the catapult
will damage you for one point. The spiky part of the catapult will damage you
for two points.

My strategy: Get in front of the catapult, and peck away. If you get there just
when it's throwing a boulder, keep pecking for a few seconds, and when you see
the catapult go to throw another, hit left and tap the turbo button to get away
from it. You may hit a rock but 1 damage is better than 2.

---

Episode 2: Rock 'n Rivet
A construction site is the setting for this episode.

Boss 2: Wrecking Ball
Avoid the wrecking ball, which isn't too hard. Peck away at the six little boxes
at the top. Use your turbo wisely so that you won't be taking too much damage.

---

Episode 3: Train Runnery
As the title implies, most of this stage is on a train.

Boss 3: Mini-Train
This boss is the reason why this FAQ exists. It exists for the following lines
of text, and hopefully it will make at least one gamer's life easier.

It took me FOREVER how to figure out how to beat this thing.

(Thank you 75 life code)

The blueprint shows the weak point, but one thing is different about this boss.

YOU CANNOT PECK THE TRAIN DIRECTLY.

You need to avoid the bombs that are thrown your way and then peck them to
bounce them onto the train's smokestack. When it hits, get to the other side of
the level to avoid the bombs that are fired when the bomb hits!

(Now you don't have to spend hours trying to peck the smokestack and wondering
why it isn't dying.)

---

Episode 4: Hopalong Casualty
This episode takes place in a mine. Be careful of drills and bats!

Boss 4: Drillng contraption.

Easy boss compared to the mini-train!. Jump on the pipes the drills are
connected to. The three platforms raise up and will put you into the spikes
above, so be on your toes. The little boxes can only be harmed when a platform
is up.

---

Episode 5: Quantum Beep
The final episode takes place on Mars. Be careful of Marvin the Martian, and his
Instant Martians (just add water!)

Boss 5: Robo Coyote

Jump up the neck and stand next to the left tooth first. Peck the nose until it
falls off. The pattern goes missile fire, mouth close, nose electrify, mouth
open. If you jump at the right time you'll avoid the missiles no problem. Next,
jump up. You'll see two radar dishes on the left and right. The eyes will shoot
those seeker electric balls that the Coytote fired at you a couple levels ago.
Missiles will come from the left and right. Finally, stand on one of the cheeks,
and you'll see an Instant Martian. Don't worry, he won't hurt you this time -
hitch a ride to the ears and peck the radar dishes away.

When the fourth radar dish is destroyed, you'll have destroyed Robo Coyote. Sit
back and watch the final cutscene (complete with a homage to one of the earliest
Road Runner cartoons)

And remember, it ain't over till the fat lady sings!
