1)Introduction
First of all , this game was released in Japan by the name of
"Kikikaikai 2" , but in "The Rest Of The World" :) by the name of "Pocky
and Rocky 2"
It's an overhead shoot 'em up , and a good one.
It was released by Natsume , the same of Lufia !! So now you know the
quality of this game... well , Lufia 2 had a lot of bugs , while P&R
doesn't have the horrible glitches of Lufia II... but well.
Anyway..Enjoy ^_^

2)Basics
The controls are like this:

Items:
· Power: A sphere that says "Power" when you touch it , increase the power
of the magical cards
Level 1:Cards that go in a line.
Level 2:More spread than before
Level 3:BIIIG cards.
· The clothes gives more hits , so , without clothes you die in 1 hit ,but
with clothes you die in 2 , 3 ,etc. hits.
· The keys open the locked chests.
· The cards with the faces of your partners , change your partner by the
one that's in the card (will cycle through all of them)
Using the magic , you'll convert into your partner o_0 and you can do
things like fly , dig , etc.

3)Partners
These partners help you attacking enemies , or you can throw them to
kill more enemies at once.
Attack means how do they attack normally. Throwing Special means if you
throw them and they hit a boss , if they do something like explode,
etc.
3.1)"Basic Partners"
I call them Basic , because they're the first 3 partners , and they are
always "selectable".

Mmmmhh , it reminds me of some old Beatles song...
Anyway , he is (IMO) the best of the 3 "basic" partners , because of
his good and quick attack.

Quick but weak. Baaad , excepting that you can open locked chests
without keys...
Attack:Shurikens - Hand-To-Hand with a Katana
Throwing Special:Big ray of fire.

Slow , but powerful ,not sooo good.
Attack:Bombs
Throwing Special:Japanese Symbol in fire.
3.2) Secret Partners
These are the best. I call them Secret because they aren't since
the beginning in the party.

He can fly!! Very good partner.

He throws sickles in circular move... I don't use it too
much...

Good , but a little small :). Well, , you can make "tunnels"
with him.

+Ottobot+ This is the best!! Quite strong , you can fly with him!

4)Hints and Tips
· Use the magical wand a lot!! In the last levels , you'll use it as
much as the magical cards!
· Vs the bosses , the best is to throw the partner to the boss.
· Buy keys in the first levels , because after the 2nd or 3rd level ,
the price of all the items will increase , so the keys in the last level
will be $200!!
· If you hit the limit on power or armor you'll gain points instead if
you take armor or power. The same's with the partner , if you have Rocky
and you take the card with the face of Rocky , you'll receive points.
· The magical wand "destroys" almost all bullets , excepting the spiral
bullets and some I'll not list :)
· Each time you are hitted , you lose 1 point of the clothes and 1 point
of power. Remind that!!
·You can enter the buildings you see (not all) there you can gain
partners, receive gold , or information. Some are stores , where you can
buy power , clothes , 1-ups , keys... (5 items by store)
·If you are facing a boss , you can see it's life , in the below part of
the screen , represented by candles.

5) Walkthrough
This game's not so difficult and it's pretty straight-forward, but you
may want to know how to "walk through" (easy and cheap wordplay :) this
game an easy way.
*NOTE*:¿? in the miniboss , means that I don't know the miniboss names!

Level 1: Pocky's Practice Stage
As the name says , this is for practice , you can jump it if you want.
The fat man will say:
"Do you need a lesson?"
With yes you'll practice , with no you'll go out this level.
I think you'll say yes if this is the first time , if not , just say
no.

Level 2: Exotic Country Road
This is really the first serious level. Easy easy...
When there are 2 ways , go left , and eventually you'll go to a locked
house , use a key , or the ninja , to open it , and you'll get Tengy.
In the mid of the stage there are 2 doors to destroy , use the wand.
BOSS:Canimal

Level 3: October Fields
Use Bomber Bob for this level!!! The boss is so easy with him!
The first house contains 2 rabbits (¿¿¿¿????) that give you $1000.
When you are almost finishing the level , you'll see Princess Luna...
But hell , all the games have bosses!
BOSS:Foxy

Level 4: Bridge over Kappa River
Totally linear , when there're 2 ways , the right way is easier , but
the left has a shop.
BOSS:Impy

Level 5: Demon's Corridor
Argh! I hate this level!! Watch out for the masks , they fire a spiral
"What's-This" ;-)
Miniboss:¿?
BOSS:Volta

Level 6: Winter Wonderland
Pretty Linear. When there's a fork in the way , go left , and in a
house'll be Digger , one of the best partners. (See section Partners)

BOSS:Demon Gate

Level 7: Demon Island
Unlock the first house to take Otto bot with you.
Secret:When you see 2 boulders , move'em , and follow the way , to enter
a store that has the goods like the first store (in price)
Boss:Beady AKA , the easier boss of all the times.

Level 8: Dragon in the Sky
Another veeeery linear stage. You're in the sky with a dragon (don't let
me dooooown , don't let me doooooown :)
Watch out for the sorcerers that throw exactly the same projectile of
the masks.

Level 9: Demon's Castle
There are ninjas , and things like that in this level , it's hard to
go through , but you'll eventually have to fight Impy and Dynagon.

Now you'll see the ending.

The first boss,easy. Throwing the partner will damage it a lot. You'll
destroy quickly his shield, now , he'll start jumping , and shooting
claws with the 2 hands! Move a lot , and you'll win.

"Jump"...on you :)

* Foxy:
Use Bomber Bob , the fight'll be a piece o' cake with him.
When he is almost finished , he'll change of sprite :) , now , when he
stands still , he's invincible.

"Baby Foxes" ^_^ (Cute isn't it? :)

* Impy:
Try yo use throwing , not cards , it's easy like that. He'll be running
all the time so you'll have to use your head... well , the head of your
partner!

This is the game's easier boss. It's the typical avoid and shoot

This is somewhat hard. He'll throw sparks that stand still a seconds
If you see he moves odd , he'll throw a double lightning at you.
When he's almost finished , his attacks'll be faster and stronger ,
the sparks'll be triple , and he'll throw that circular things around
it's body.
Attacks:"Sparks"
"Triple Sparks"
"Throw" (or "Throw the circular things that he has around it's
body...nah!)
"Lightning"
Whew , you beat it :)

Another "Avoid-And-Shoot"
* Demon Gate
Destroy the shoulders , then the main body. Almost no tactics.
Watch out for the spikes

* Beady
The time I said the first boss was the easier... I lied , this is
the most easier boss of all the history of the video games , whew.
Evade his fire (or may I say explosions :) and his whip and throw
your partner.

"Whip Explosion"
(Seems like the developers were fans of Metallica , Whiplash!!)

* Miniboss Level 8
Typical evade and shoot. This time ain't that easy.

*Almost* exactly like Volta , but harder. Again , the typical lightning
type enemy.

"Triple Triple Bolts" ;-)
"Lightning" (Argh! I'm hating the lighning right now!
"Throw" (Again , throw his "symbols" of 'round the body)

This one's has 2 bosses (Impy might be a MiniBoss , but I don't consider him
like that)
* Impy
Just like before , but stronger and a triple bolt attack.
Attacks:"Triple Bolt"
"Seeker Discs"
"Mini Foxes"
You can basically use the same strategy that you used earlier, but
Impy has some new attacks. One of the new attacks involves three-directional
lightning, straight out and 45(?) degrees on either side. The flying discs
actually chase after Pocky now, so watch out for them.
* Dynagon
Supposedly , Dynagon has to be hard........but it ain't like that.
The attacks are so ****ing easy to avoid! When it loses 1 or 2 candles (that
means that he'll have 3 or 4 candles left :D it'll begin to use the fire sword
and'll throw flames to you.
I think this' the easier final boss from a Snes game.
It throw fireballs that explode in 6 directions , watch out.
Attacks:"Purple Balls"

"Fire Waves"
