~~ I.Introduction ~~

7th Saga 2 -> Mystic Ark is made by Enix and released in year 1995 on SFC(SNES)
system. It's an RPG  game which looks quite similar  to 7th Saga except it has
much more better graphics and  sounds. This game is fully in Japanese, it's hard
to play without any Japanese knowledge. Some sites are producing the translation
patch, but none of them are finish. For those who don't know Japanese, please use
my guide to get you  through the game. This  game can be consider as harder RPG
among the others because it consists of many "puzzle solving" trick for you to
solve in order to get through the game. So be patient!!!

The story is about the 7 heroes are being summoned by Goddess in order to travel
around 7 mysterious land, search for 7 ark, restore the world and defeat the King
of Evil that ruins the world.

1.Hero Remeer(m)/Ferris(f)
==========================

Your main character of the game, you can't take him/her out of battle. Remeer
and Ferris has average stat growth and good at fighting. Remeer learn fire
based magic and Ferris learn water based magic.

Techniques he/she can learned:

Guard - Increase his/her defense
Figure - Figure monsters (use them in monster arena)
Slash all - Medium attack on all enemies
Charge - Strong attack on single enemy (Lower HP = Lower attack power)

2.Witch Miriene
===============

Miriene is very good by using her magic. Her defense is quite low, give defense
seed to her.

Techniques she can learned:

Magic down - Lower single enemy magic effect and defense
MP Drain - Drain single enemy's MP to restore her MP

3.Grappler Reeshine
===================

Reeshine, in my opinion, is the best character in the game. Her strength and
defense are quite high although she can't use any magics.

Techniques she can learned:

Guard - Increase her defense
Power up - Increase party's strength
Charge kick - Super powerful kick on single enemy (even work on bosses)!!!
Charge - Strong attack on single enemy (Lower HP = Lower attack power)
Power Kick - Medium attack on all enemies (not always work)

4.Tetujin Lux
=============

Lux is a robot. His strength and defense is above average and his speed is
somewhat low. Lux is good at fighting. Equip speed ring for Lux if you want
to use him.

Techniques Lux can learned:

Charge attack (1) - Strong attack on single enemy (-10 HP per use)
Charge attack (2) - Strong attack on multiple enemies (-20 HP per use)

5.Ogre Kamiwoo
==============

Kamiwoo gets a boost in strength. His stat's will change base on the world
he went. I don't use him much.

Techniques he can learned:

Power down - Decrease single enemy strength
Slash all - Medium attack on all enemies
HP drain - Drain single enemy's HP and restore his HP
???? - Don't know what it does (Anyone knows please email me)
Burn - Fire attack on all enemies

6.Priestess Meisia
==================

Meisia is a healer. Although her strength and defense are quite low the
techniques that she can learned will cover it up. Give her the seed of
defense too. She's very useful near the end of game.

Techniques she can learned:

Sleep - Put single enemy to sleep
HP restore - Restore her HP
MP restore - Restore her MP

7.Ninja Tokio
=============

Tokio is fast. He can attacks before the enemies do. He has the highest
speed among all your members. His attack power is low but his techniques
can cover it up. He's useful in the middle of the game.

Techniques he can learned:

Power up - Increase party's strength
Slice - Slice twice (strong) on any enemies on the screen

Once you have obtained the Ark of Light, you can access these two games.

1.The Mini Game Room
====================
Walk behind the shrine and you will see a couple of trees, you can search one
of the tree there. Use the Ark of Light on it and you are able to go in. Inside,
you can play several mini games to win some of the prizes.

2.Monster Arena
===============
When the Ark of Light is used on the spring water in the cave on the beach at
the lower left of the Shrine, the left door will open. When the stuck sword's
door on the next beach is touched using the Ark of Power, it will put you in
to the Arena. The monsters that you figure around the worlds can be use here.
The arena consists of two parts.

Arena(Rightside)
----------------
You can use your monsters to battle with other monsters in battle arena. Once
you win, you will get some silver coins.

Arena(Leftside)
---------------
This is where you can trade your monsters for valuable prizes such as strength
seed, weapons, armors... You need silver coins to exchange prizes, better item
or equipment used up more silver coins. You also can play "BET AND WIN" game in
this area which you can win a lot more silver coins than the previous one. Try
to bet the monster (not yours) you think will win in battles with silver coins.
The more you bet (MAX 9000 silver coins), the more you will get once you win.

THE SHRINE
~~~~~~~~~~
Equip the armor you get, make the "Goddess Tear" into a "crystal" at the
fireplace on the 1st floor hall of the Shrine, and talk with the Goddess
statue on the outside. Afterwards, when you hear the story from the fireplace,
go to Sand World in the ship model on the 2nd floor of the Shrine.

THE FIRST HUT
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Open the door of the first hut with the "rusty Key," and go east to Blood
Hook Ship.

To return to the Shrine,"Search" the jar on the right.

When you search the upper left window, move the telescope and push the
switch, the key of the drawer will open. An "HP Seed" is inside.

Honey is contained in the left jar for 3 times and it will your recover
HP when you drink it. It can also be put into an empty bottle since it
will rot when time passes but drink ahead of time.

you will get a duty from Six Pack, and go to the cave beside the lighthouse.

Get out from the cave beside the Lighthouse, go to the blacksmith's shop in
Gumbos Ship underground, and receive the "report" from Pink Head. Return to
Blood Hook Ship, pass the "report" to Six Pack, and receive the "rank insignia."

GUMBOS SHIP

Go into Gumbos Ship and gather information.

Weapon collection ->
Immediately after obtaining the "Rank Insignia," you will be asked to obtain
10 weapons when you speak to Blood Hook Ship weapon shop dealer from the side.
Movement in both ships will be easy when you use the "Crystal." When you clear
it, you get the reward (100G, Devilish Scent) and the weapon shop in Blood Hook
Ship will start business.

Speak to the Master of the bar from the side, request to obtain the "Bulk Cargo,"
and when you handle it, go and put it in Gumbos Ship warehouse.

The story progresses even if you don't handle this request but in that case,
Blood Hook Ship weapon shop does not do business after you obtain the "iron."

Report to Six Pack in Blood Hook Ship, solve the puzzle which the cat on the
stairs takes out, go up to the upstairs, and obtain the "moon stone" in your
own room. Open the gate by using the "moon stone" on the hut in the Southeast
Bridge, and go to the South Cave.

Talk with Six Pack in Blood Hook Ship, and go to the Quarry. Go to the back,
defeat the boss Sandworm, and obtain the "iron."

The Rock arrangement ->
Talk to the cat, the cat says you need to move all the rock to upper left
corner of the area (horizontal). Once you've done, you received the prizes.

The Rock arrangement (Small Room) ->
To get the treasures, move one of the rock to upper left corner and one to
lower right corner.

Another room ->
To solve the puzzle, turn clockwise once around the corner of the room.

Sandworm

Go to center with magic or an item for the hero (woman). It is possible to go
when you are Lv6. After defeating the Sandworm, drop into the hole and obtain
the "Iron."

When you go to report to Six Pack, you will request a search for the cook
Bullminch. After you obtain "Bullminch's Heart" in the kitchen, and take
"Bullminch's figure" to the Shrine. When you return to Sand World, you will
go to report to Six Pack in Blood Hook Ship, and go to Gumbos Ship.

Go to Gumbos Ship and defeat the boss King Mole in the blacksmith's shop.
Once you go to the upstairs, speak with the cats, and pursue King Mole in the
underground of the blacksmith's shop from the back of the oven. When you reach
the place where King Mole and the cat are at, you will return and gather
information in both ships.

MATOYA'S GRAND LIGHTHOUSE

Climb Matoya's Grand Lighthouse and meet Matoya on the top floor. When you put
away the scattered dresses, search for her glasses and pass it to her. she will
then tell you to find the 5 materials in order to make the medicine.

The mechanism in the Grand Lighthouse ->
* The 2nd lever is a secret lever in an empty column under the first selection
 column.
* Since a trap is on the top floor in front of Matoya, be careful! (Since the
 pattern reaches the floor where you often sees, you will understand)
* The glasses are on the shelves in Matoya's room.

with a small enemy and come certainly to be petrified.

figure, and go to the back.

With the party ->
* At the back of the Shrine, since the fighter figure can be substantiated,
 make the Ark dwell immediately after entering, and let's add it to the party.

The lottery passage ->
* In fact, the 4 entrance points of the passage have an upside-down lottery-like
 structure (you have to go in sideway).
* Go into the 2nd from the right and come out on the first left.

part still more.

The final battle is in the deepest part.

Since its attack magic is only a threat, put on "Magic Mirror" or "Mirror"
on all the members.  Now, you hit it with "Power" repeatedly, "Charge Kick" for
Reeshine, and "Slice" for Tokio, etc. Attack magic has a thin effect. Therefore,
if you want to win easily, Meisia who is one of the members is recommended.

Once you win, sit back, relax and enjoy the ending.
