Metal max is a unique little game. It looks like Final Fantasy 5, but is
almost completely lacking in story. What little there is describes a post-
apocalyptic world with mechanical monsters running loose. With technology
destroyed, a few hardy souls attempt to recover it from those mecha-beasts.
They are called "hunters" and you are one of those souls.
I've begun this guide at a time when there is little information on this
game... at least in English. I wanted to know what monsters dropped what
so that I could search after specific items. With that nearly done, I may
also do an in-depth analysis of weapons-both for humans and tanks.

The information here is pretty straightforward. For HP, most are exact
numbers, though a few are educated guesses and may be off by 2-3 hp. Also,
drops are interesting in this game. There appears to be two item tables, one
if the battle is over in less than four rounds, and a second one for more. If
you are battling a group of different monsters, I believe the only one whose
drop table is used is the last monster defeated.
