                         INTRODUCTION/VERSION HISTORY
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome to my MechWarrior FAQ/Walkthrough for the Super Nintendo Entertainment
System. This guide was written using Microsoft Notepad, under Windows XP Home
Edition.

Version Number   Release Date         Version Information

Version 1.00     June 24, 2003        First version of the guide submitted to
                                     GameFAQs. Includes a full walkthrough and
                                     a few helpful game lists. The guide is
                                     essentially complete, and no future
                                     updates are planned unless I receive
                                     e-mails about any mistakes or
                                     suggestions.

Version 1.01     June 25, 2003        Fixed some minor spelling and grammar
                                     mistakes. Haven't received any e-mail
                                     yet, so hopefully this will be the only
                                     update I'll need to make.

Version 1.02     July 16, 2003        Added another website with authorization
                                     to host this guide, and added some
                                     information about the invincibility code
                                     in the Game Tips section.

Version 1.03     September 8, 2003    Added information on how to get 1,000,000
                                     extra C-Bills near the beginning of a new
                                     game in the Game Tips section, and made a
                                     few minor changes in the guide's layout.

Version 1.04     September 9, 2003    Added some information about the Practice
                                     Mode in the Game Tips section.

Version 1.05     September 13, 2003   Made some minor revisions. Hopefully,
                                     this would be the final version of this
                                     guide.

                                    STORY
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The game puts you in control of Herras, a mercenary. He has been training for
10 long years, refining his mechwarrior skills in order for him to be able to
get his revenge on the people who murdered his family all those years ago.
Throughout the game Herras finds clues on the whereabouts of his family's
killers, and he goes after all of them, with hopes of finally being able to
achieve his goals of revenge that has long been overdue.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                                 CHARACTERS
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Herras - The "hero" of the game. He has a personal vendetta against the Dark
        Wing Lance mercenaries, the ones who killed his family 10 years ago.
        He has spent the past 10 years training, waiting for the moment when
        he can have his revenge.

Dark Wing Lance Mercenaries - Renegade mercenaries that have recently been
                             declared as outlaws. Herras is trying to find
                             them, to get his revenge.

Cearle - A man with a cybernetic eye, he is the bartender of the club where
        Herras hangs out. He provides Herras with various information
        throughout the game, and is Herras' friend and confidant.

Larman Sholest - An old mercenary who usually hangs out in the club. He often
                helps Herras by giving him hints and various words of wisdom.

Lana Mann - A female mercenary who is also after the Dark Wing Lance members.
           You only get to see her through holovids. She is the first one to
           uncover the true identity of the Dark Wing Lance's leader. She
           tries to tell this to Herras, but ends up saying it too late.

Meece Yerta - A fellow mercenary who often asks Herras to help him in some of
             his missions. He gives Herras additional rewards if Herras helps
             him with his missions and if the missions come out successfully.

Roden Wull - A cyborg mercenary who is working for Herras. He often goes to
            the club or sends you holovids, giving you various leads on the
            whereabouts of the Dark Wing Lance members.

Wolf Glupper - A rogue member of the Dark Wing Lance mercenaries. He is the
              first member of the group that Herras gets to face in battle.

Yerg Gantor - A mercenary who Herras first sees in a holovid. He was just
             ripped-off by Wolf when you first see him in the holovid, and he
             swears he'll get his revenge. After you have beaten Zach, he'll
             try to kill you by way of an ambush to teach you not to mess with
             your fellow mercenaries, but he fails in doing so. A little later
             after you thwart his ambush, he starts to see how good you really
             are and hires you for a few missions. By the end of the game, he
             is the one who will send you to your fight with the leader of the
             Dark Wing Lance mercenaries.

Vermin Minter - A female mercenary who is trying to find the location of the
               Dark Wing Lance members. You only get to see her through some
               holovids.

Zach Slasher - The second member of the Dark Wing Lance mercenaries that Herras
              gets to face in battle.

Duff Skully - The third member of the Dark Wing Lance mercenaries that Herras
             gets to face in battle.

                                  GAME TIPS
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Practice Mode puts you in a "Protect the base" type of mission. The type of
mech you will be allowed to use is determined at random. The weapons equipped
on the mech, however, will always be the same: a machine gun with 160 bullets
left, a large laser, a particle cannon, 15 long range homing missiles,
a machine gun with 60 bullets left, and 20 short range missiles. The types and
number of enemies present on the mission will also vary, but the map is always
the same: a C-shaped island with one base to protect. Also, as far as I know,
the mechs you use in the practice missions are all virtually indestructible.

When you start a new game, sign up for the following missions in this order:
Riot Duty on Zhada, Riot Duty on Solaris, Planetary Assault on Quilon, and
Siege Campaign on Dalview. All four missions must be completed before you first
talk to Cearle in the club. After you complete the fourth mission, Larman will
be waiting for you inside the club, and he'll give you an envelope containing
1,000,000 C-Bills, claiming that it's from a good friend of yours. Keep in mind
that if you go through all of these extra missions, the maximum values and
enemy units listed on this guide would become slightly higher as you continue
on through the game.

When you lose the first mission while having only a few money left, You'll be
given 100,000 C-Bills by someone claiming to be your uncle. You'll only be
able to do this once though.

Always repair and reload your mech after each mission.

Try not to overload your mech. When your mech has too much weight, it will
overheat quickly.

Try to have at least one laser weapon or machine gun on your mech. If you rely
heavily on missiles, you'll usually run out of ammunition when there are over
eight enemy units to dispose of.

Always engage with the enemies one on one, and stick to one target until it
is destroyed. Also, try to finish off the weaker mechs first. This will
greatly increase your chances of having a successful mission.

If a mech has arms and those arms are destroyed, the mech will still be able to
fight, but it will lose the use of some weapons. If one leg of a mech is
destroyed, the mech will be unable to walk, but it will still be able to turn
around sideways. If both legs of a mech is destroyed, the whole mech will be
destroyed.

Try to avoid fighting enemies while you are near some landmines, since your
mech's legs can be destroyed by as few as 2 landmines.

Always try to save the game before negotiating, accepting missions, or
modifying your mech. That way, you can reload the game when something
goes wrong.

Always try to keep the enemy mechs at a distance. Once the enemy mechs get too
close to you, they'll start using their jumpjets to fly around all over you,
making them harder to hit.

Don't underestimate the jumpjets. They are great for maneuvering around
enemies and is a good means for escape. They also allow you to move around
even when one of your mech's legs is destroyed.

What Cearle tells you at the beginning of the game is true. Homing missiles
are the best. However, they are quite expensive to use, since they have
limited ammunition, requiring you to reload them after every mission. If you
want to have an all-missile mech configuration, it would be better to just
have the short ranged homing missiles instead of the longer-ranged ones. Their
damage is lower, but they have a lot more ammunition with them. Coupled with
a laser cannon or a machine gun, they could take out every enemy you may
encounter.

In the first few missions, try using a particle cannon. It deals a huge
amount of damage to the enemy mechs at a nice range, destroying them with only
a few hits, and it doesn't need to be reloaded after every mission.

When negotiating on a contract, you'll know that you've asked for too much or
you've already reached the maximum amount possible when you get a message
saying that "The House Of Davion is grievously offended by your excessive
demands".

There is an invincibility code in the game. To make your mech invincible for
one mission, pause the game while on the battle screen and press the buttons
A,L,L,Y,A,L,L,Y,A,L,L,Y, the word " ally " spelled out three times. You'll know
you've done it correctly when your mech's cockpit lights up for a moment and
the word " INVINCIBLE " appears in the middle of your screen. Entering this
code toggles your mech's invincibility on or off. Take note that you'll have to
enter this code for every mission you wish to be invincible in, since its
effect wears off after every mission.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                         WALKTHROUGH/MISSIONS GUIDE
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Notes : The numbers written as the value of each mission are the maximum
       amounts I was able to get through negotiating. The actual starting
       and maximum values will vary from each game, but it should give you
       the general idea on how much the mission is really worth.

       The number and types of enemy mechs in each mission will vary in every
       game, especially if you do/don't sign up for the optional missions, or
       if you take different paths throughout the game's progress. I just
       listed the enemy lists I got in my third playthrough. The differences
       in them are minimal for the most part, and the general difficulty of
       the missions aren't really changed by much.

       Be warned that this walkthrough has a bunch of spoilers, so If you
       would rather discover the story on your own, I would advise for you to
       not read ahead of the parts where you are currently on.

       Finally, keep in mind that the missions included in this walkthrough
       are only the ones needed to move on with the story, with a only a few
       exceptions. If you feel that you need to earn a little more money,
       feel free to sign up for the missions other than the  ones listed
       here, they shouldn't be that much harder.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
" It has taken me ten years to develop and refine my skills to the point
where I am Now ready to face the Dark Wing Lance, that renegade mercenary
cartel that destroyed my family all those years ago. "
Go to the club. The bartender introduces himself as Cearle. He tells you
that if you want some work, you should find some on Galeton. He then says
that if you hear anybody drop some planet names, you should remember them
and select a contract with that same planet name at the G.H.Q. because its
sure to lead you to more information. Finally he advises you to go to the
Mech Complex and upgrade your mech's armor and weapons systems before
heading off to Galeton, adding that homing missiles are the best.
You may take Cearle's advice and go upgrade your mech, but it really isn't
necessary at this point. Your mech is already adequately equipped for the
easy mission ahead. Its weapons aren't fully loaded, but you have more than
enough ammunition for the job.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Mission 1
Contract : Garrison Duty
Planet : Galeton
Maximum Value : 147,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 2
             Medium Mechs - 0
             Heavy Mechs - 0
             Assault Mechs - 0
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Earth
                Temperature - 30
                Gravity - 1.0
Mission Objectives : Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty :  Very Easy
Strategy : Well, considering the fact that this is the easiest mission in
          the whole game, you shouldn't have trouble in it. Even without
          making any upgrades to your mech, this mission is a breeze.
          If you do find yourself having trouble in completing this mission,
          then I suggest that you upgrade your mech's armor all the way up.

Go talk to Cearle in the club. He asks about how well you did on your first
mission and tells you that if you're up for something a little different, you
should try to get work on Zacapa. He then reminds you to repair and reload
your mech before you head for battle, and upgrade your mech's weapons and
armor if you still have money left over after that. You'll also get to meet
Larman Sholest in the club for the first time, but he won't provide any
useful information for now.
You'd better take Cearle's advice and head on over to the Mech Complex to
repair and reload your mech. The next mission isn't any different from the
first, but since your mech is still very weak at this point, it would really
help to keep your mech fresh after each battle.

                Gravity - 0.9
Mission Objectives : Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty : Very Easy
Strategy : Same as before. If you didn't have trouble with the first mission,
          then you won't have any trouble here as well, since you've
          probably upgraded your mech by now. Or you may leave your mech the
          way it was when you started, it won't make the mission any harder.

Go talk to Cearle in the club, and he tells you all about the holovids. He
then shows you a holovid that some mercenary accidentally left behind.
Go and take a look at the holovid Cearle shows you. It seems that a female
mercenary named Lana Mann is also after the Dark Wing Lance members. She says
that her next report will be from Kagran. So go repair, reload, and upgrade
your mech as you like, and go sign up for a mission in Kagran.

Mission 3
Contract : Offensive Campaign
Planet : Kagran
Maximum Value : 177,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 3
             Medium Mechs - 0
             Heavy Mechs - 0
             Assault Mechs - 0
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Ice
                Temperature - -30
                Gravity - 0.4
Mission Objectives : Stop the enemy mechs from destroying the base
                    Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty : Very Easy
Strategy : There are 3 enemy mechs this time around, and you have to
          destroy them before they destroy the base. Don't worry too much
          about the base, it can take quite an amount of damage from the
          enemy mechs since the enemy mechs are pretty weak. Just concentrate
          on the enemies one at a time and everything will be fine. The
          enemies will usually just ignore you and concentrate on destroying
          the base anyway, so you won't have much problem dealing with them.

Go to the club. A cyborg mercenary under your employ named Roden Wull has left
you a holovid. Apparently, one of the Dark Wing Lance mercenaries are on a
recon raid mission on Zhada, and that they've already stashed their ammunition
reserves on that planet.
There's also a person in the club who introduces himself as Meece Yerta, and
he wants some help with some security duty he's conducting on Rostov. He also
says that there will be a big bonus in it for you if you accept. It's
completely optional, but since you really need money at this point of the
game, I would highly suggest that you take his offer.

If you wish to go help out Meece, proceed to Mission 4. If you'd rather try and
search for the Dark Wing Lance member on Zhada and move on with the story,
proceed to Mission 5.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mission 4
Contract : Security Duty
Planet : Rostov
Maximum Value : 195,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 4
             Medium Mechs - 0
             Heavy Mechs - 0
             Assault Mechs - 0
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Enemy Base
                Temperature - 20
                Gravity - 2.2
Mission Objectives : Protect the bases
                    Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty : Very Easy
Strategy : There are 2 bases here that you need to protect. You will lose the
          mission if even one of the bases are destroyed. The enemies are
          the same as before though, ignoring you in favor of the very tough
          bases. Just pick off the enemies one by one, and don't worry too
          much about the bases.
Go talk to Meece at the club and collect your reward, a whopping 81,000
C-Bills. He apologizes for not being able to join you at the mission, but
he hopes that he can work with you again in the future.
Go repair, reload, and upgrade your mech as you like, and sign up for a
mission on Zhada. It's time to follow up on that lead Roden gave you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Mission 5
Contract : Recon Raid
Planet : Zhada
Maximum Value : 214,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 3
             Medium Mechs - 1
             Heavy Mechs - 0
             Assault Mechs - 0
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Earth
                Temperature - 67
                Gravity - 1.5
Mission Objectives : Locate and retrieve the ammunition stash
Difficulty : Very Easy
Strategy : In this mission you'll have to find the ammunition reserves stashed
          by the Dark Wing Lance. One of the enemy mechs will drop it once
          destroyed. The mech carrying the ammunition stash is random in each
          game, so just destroy every mech you meet until you find the right
          one. If you're lucky, it'll be dropped by your first kill.
          This is the first mission where you will encounter a medium-
          sized enemy mech, but it isn't much of a threat. It does have a
          bit more armor than the light mechs, so you'll probably need to
          dish out a little more firepower in order to destroy it. You may
          even skip fighting it if you want, since you won't always need to
          destroy all enemy mechs to complete the mission.
          Also, you may go trigger-happy with your missiles in this mission
          if you like, since the ammunition stash you get will reload your
          mech's weapons after the mission. I don't see any point in trying
          to destroy all the enemies here anyway, since you won't get any
          bonus rewards even if you do.

Go to the club and read what's on the News Net. It seems that the Dark Wing
Lance mercenaries are involved in large scale uprisings on the planets Quilon
and Puxi, engaging in large scale guerilla operations.
At this point you could either go first to Puxi, and then go to Quilon, or you
could skip Puxi and just head on over to Quilon right away to move on with the
story.

If you wish to go to Puxi and gain a few extra money, proceed to Mission 6. If
you'd rather go to Quilon and move on with the story, proceed to Mission 7.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mission 6
Contract : Security Duty
Planet : Puxi
Maximum Value : 233,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 3
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 0
             Assault Mechs - 0
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Ice
                Temperature - -55
                Gravity - 0.7
Mission Objectives : Protect the bases
                    Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty : Very Easy
Strategy : Again, just destroy the enemy mechs one by one, they'll often be too
          preoccupied with trying to destroy the 2 bases to cause you much
          harm.
Go to the club and talk to Larman. He says that the real action is going on in
Quilon. Well then, it's time to join in on the real action.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Mission 7
Contract : Security Duty
Planet : Quilon
Maximum Value : 257,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 3
             Medium Mechs - 4
             Heavy Mechs - 0
             Assault Mechs - 0
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Lava
                Temperature - 120
                Gravity - 3.4
Mission Objectives : Protect the base
Difficulty : Easy
Strategy : Larman wasn't kidding, the action really is in Quilon. There are 7
          enemies in total this time around, with 4 of them as medium mechs,
          and only one base to protect. If you haven't upgraded your mech
          since the first mission, then now would be the time to do so. The
          enemy mechs can destroy the base within minutes, so you'll have to
          work fast in destroying them. If you haven't done so, I would
          suggest that you upgrade your mech's armor to the fullest prior to
          this mission, and buy some additional weapons, since 50 short ranged
          homing missiles and a small laser won't be enough to finish the job.
          Alternatively, you could buy yourself a new mech that you could use
          for this mission, but it would be a lot better if you save up for
          the stronger mechs that you can buy later.

Go to the club. Roden is waiting there for you. He says that there might be a
connection between a man named Wolf Glupper and the Dark Wing Lance.
Talk to Cearle. He gives you a free soda, and says that he overheard one of the
mercenaries talking about Wolf. It seems that Wolf is working for Marik, and
that he is currently in Dalview. Head off to Dalview.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mission 8
Contract : Offensive Campaign
Planet : Dalview
Maximum Value : 248,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 2
             Medium Mechs -3
             Heavy Mechs - 0
             Assault Mechs - 0
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Earth
                Temperature - 49
                Gravity - 1.6
Mission Objectives : Stop the enemy mechs from destroying the base
                    Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty : Easy
Strategy : By now, you should have already upgraded your mech's armor to the
          fullest, and bought some new weapons, preferably a particle cannon
          and/or some additional homing missiles. You may remove your mech's
          jumpjets if you like, to provide additional space for extra armor or
          some extra weapons. Just like before, attack the enemies one by one
          and you won't find any difficulty in completing the mission.
Go to the club. Some people left their holovids lying around. One of them shows
a man named Yerg Gantor. It seems that Yerg was ripped-off by Wolf, and Yerg
wants to get some revenge. The other holovid is from Lana. It seems that an
emergency has broken out on Solaris. They discovered a spy at one of their
intelligence installations, but the spy has wired the place with explosives. If
they don't find and disarm the remote detonator immediately, they're finished.
I guess it's up to you to help them out.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Mission 9
Contract : Recon Raid
Planet : Solaris
Maximum Value : 256,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 2
             Medium Mechs - 3
             Heavy Mechs - 2
             Assault Mechs - 0
Planetary Data : Terrain type - Lava
                Temperature - 115
                Gravity - 3.1
Mission Objectives : Locate and disarm the detonator
Difficulty : Easy
Strategy : Much like in Mission 5, one of the enemy mechs here will drop the
          detonator once it is destroyed. Just keep fighting off all of the
          enemy mechs you meet until you destroy the right one, and just save
          your ammunition and forget about the rest. This is also the first
          mission where you'll face the heavy mech type, but they don't give
          much of a challenge.

Go to the club. There's another holovid. A government agent, Vermin Minter, is
trying to find the location of Wolf. She has found out that Wolf caused the
guerilla attacks on Galeton and Zhada.
Go read what's on the News Net. It seems that there are more uprisings on
Galeton, fuelled by a supply of stolen property hidden somewhere on the planet.
It also says that the House Of Davion strongly advises mercenaries to stay away
from the dangerous planet.
Since you like danger, head on over to Galeton.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mission 10
Contract : Objective Raid
Planet : Galeton
Maximum Value : 301,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 3
             Medium Mechs - 3
             Heavy Mechs - 1
             Assault Mechs - 0
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Earth
                Temperature - 30
                Gravity - 1.0
Mission Objectives : Locate and retrieve the property
Difficulty : Easy
Strategy : Once again, you must keep destroying the enemy mechs until one of
          them drops the property. Just try to engage enemies one at a time,
          and grab the property as soon as you can to conserve ammunition.
Go talk to Larman in the club. He tells you that Wolf is laying low on the
planet with 2 large icebound areas.
Prepare your mech for a very tough fight, and head on over to Zacapa.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Mission 11
Contract : Riot Duty
Planet : Zacapa
Maximum Value : 297,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 2
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 2
             Assault Mechs - 0
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Ice
                Temperature - -71
                Gravity - 0.9
Mission Objectives : Destroy Wolf Glupper's mech
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : This would be the first "boss battle" in the game. To start off,
          you will be attacked by 3 normal mechs. After you've destroyed them
          all, Wolf Glupper shows up in a mean-looking heavy mech and fights
          with you alone. He really isn't that hard, just try to keep your
          distance, along the boundary of the short ranged weapons and the
          medium ranged weapons would be the ideal distance. If he manages to
          get close enough to you, he will start using his jumpjets to fly
          around above you while constantly firing his machine guns. If that
          happens, just keep moving around and keep on firing your homing
          missiles. He will soon need to land when his mech starts to
          overheat, so use this moment to gain back a little distance between
          the two of you. After you destroy Wolf's mech, the other enemy mechs
          in this mission won't show up.

" Well I've certainly taught Wolf Glupper a lesson he'll never forget. But I
will not be able to rest until I have brought the remaining Dark Wing Lance
members to justice. "

Go to the club, Roden is waiting there for you. He says he got hold of a
garbled note. Written at the bottom of the note were the initials "Z.S." and
"D.S.", and underneath the initials were the words "D.W.L. Members".
Some people left their holovids lying around again. One of them shows Vermin,
saying that she has just found out that Wolf was put out action in a
spectacular fight on Zacapa. However, they don't know the identity of Wolf's
opponent. The other holovid shows Lana, reporting that some mercenaries are
trying to disrupt the current government on Kagran. She says that there might
be something a lot larger going on that they are not aware of.
Time to repair your mech after the beating it took from fighting Wolf, and head
on over to Kagran.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mission 12
Contract : Security Duty
Planet : Kagran
Maximum Value : 352,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 4
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 3
             Assault Mechs - 0
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Ice
                Temperature - -30
                Gravity - 0.4
Mission Objectives : Protect the base
                    Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : This is when the missions start to get a bit harder. There are 9
          enemy mechs in total, so make sure to pack a lot of ammunition.
          There is only one base here for you to protect, so quickly destroy
          the enemy units before they get the chance to deal damage to the
          base. Three missile launchers, preferably the short ranged homing
          ones, would be enough to finish the job. You can also add a Particle
          Cannon to finish off weak enemy mechs.
Go to the club and read what's on the News Net. It looks like there's some
trouble brewing between the mercenary ranks.
Cearle tells you that the Houses probably won't have any luck in fixing the
situation, since he heard that some of the mercenaries are already heading down
to fight on Drena. Larman on the other hand tells you that it would be better
for you to take some work with the mercenaries trying to set up a planetary
assault, instead of heading down to Drena yourself.
By now you should already have enough money to buy the biggest mech being sold
at the Mech Complex, the one being sold for 2,432,000 C-Bills. If you are still
short on money, try selling your current mech's weapons, heatsinks, jumpjets,
and armor pieces until you have enough. Once you have enough money, go to the
Mech Complex and buy your new mech. You might need to exit and re-enter the
Mech Complex until the biggest mech shows up on the mech list. Once you buy the
new mech, you may sell off your old mech to gain some money you can use to
upgrade your new mech. I suggest you replace your mech's machine guns and
medium laser with some short ranged or medium ranged homing missiles.
Now on to your next mission. You could either sign up for a siege campaign on
Drena, or you could sign up for a planetary assault on Dalview. This is where
the story branches out into interweaving paths. It might become a bit too
confusing to just list the missions, so I've included a diagram on how the
next handful of missions flow together.
If you wish to join the siege campaign on Drena, proceed to Mission 13. If
you'd rather join the planetary assault on Dalview, proceed to Mission 14.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Mission 13
Contract : Siege Campaign
Planet : Drena
Maximum Value : 346,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 2
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 2
             Assault Mechs - 0
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Enemy Base
                Temperature - 32
                Gravity - 2.8
Mission Objectives : Destroy the enemy base
Difficulty : Very Easy
Strategy : Just head for the enemy base, and hold the B button as soon as it
          falls within your weapons' firing range. Don't bother fighting with
          the enemy mechs, just concentrate on the enemy base and the mission
          will end within a couple of seconds.

Head on over to the club. Vermin has left another holovid. She has sent her
best men to track down a man named Zach Slasher. It seems that Zach is trying
to launch a planetary assault on either Escalon or Dalview.

If you wish to search for leads on Escalon, proceed to Mission 18. If you'd
rather search for leads on Dalview, proceed to Mission 19.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mission 14
Contract : Planetary Assault
Planet : Dalview
Maximum Value : 373,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 2
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 4
             Assault Mechs - 0
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Earth
                Temperature - 49
                Gravity - 1.6
Mission Objectives : Stop the enemy mechs from destroying the base
                    Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : Just stay close to the base and you won't have much trouble dealing
          with the enemy mechs. Try to work as fast as you can since the base
          won't be able to take much damage from the enemy mechs.
Go to the club. Larman is happy that you were able to pull off the planetary
assault on Dalview, and comments that you must be learning. He tells you that
there are rumors about Meece intercepting a holovid with some vital information
on it. He adds that Meece is a real wimp though, and he always makes other
people do his dirty work, unless it's garrison duty on Galeton or something
else that's real easy.
Meece will immediately speak with you after your conversation with Larman. It
looks like Larman already told him that he's got something you're after pretty
bad, but he says it's going to cost you big this time.
If you choose to buy the holovid from Meece, he sells you the holovid for
75,000 C-Bills. The holovid is from Roden. He has just confirmed that Zach
really is a member of the Dark Wing Lance. He says he's heading off to Rostov
to see what else he can dig up.
If you choose not to buy the holovid from Meece, he tells you that that's one
of the biggest mistakes you'll ever make, and he guesses that you're probably
going to be stuck on Zhada now.
Right now, you could either search for leads on Zhada, if you didn't buy the
holovid from Meece, or you could follow Roden to Rostov, if you did buy the
holovid from Meece, or you could search for leads on Galeton.
If you wish to search for leads on Zhada, proceed to Mission 15. If you'd
rather search for leads on Galeton, proceed to Mission 16. Or if you'd rather
follow Roden to Rostov, proceed to Mission 17.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Mission 15
Contract : Riot Duty
Planet : Zhada
Maximum Value : 390,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 3
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 2
             Assault Mechs - 0
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Earth
                Temperature - 67
                Gravity - 1.5
Mission Objectives : Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : There's not much strategy needed here. Just try to destroy enemy
          mechs one at a time, preferably from a distance.

Mission 16
Contract : Garrison Duty
Planet : Galeton
Maximum Value : 387,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 3
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 2
             Assault Mechs - 0
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Earth
                Temperature - 30
                Gravity - 1.0
Mission Objectives : Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : There's not much strategy needed here. Just try to destroy enemy
          mechs one at a time, preferably from a distance.

Head on over to the club. Vermin has left another holovid. She has sent her

Mission 17
Contract : Offensive Campaign
Planet : Rostov
Maximum Value : 393,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 2
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 2
             Assault Mechs - 0
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Enemy Base
                Temperature - 20
                Gravity - 2.2
Mission Objectives : Stop the enemy mechs from destroying the bases
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : Try to stay in the area between the bases so you can easily go after
          the enemy mechs that come near. Work quickly in destroying the enemy
          mechs since the bases won't be able to last long under enemy attack.

Go to the club, Roden is waiting there for you. He has confirmed that Zach is
indeed a member of the Dark Wing Lance. He is watching Zach's every move, and
tells you that Zach has just caught a ride to Cawdor.
Lana has left another holovid. She has managed to infiltrate a small
underground network on Puxi that might lead to some important information.
Right now, you could either follow Zach to Cawdor, or you could search for some
leads on Puxi.

If you wish to follow Zach to Cawdor, proceed to Mission 23. If you'd rather go
and search for some leads on Puxi, proceed to Mission 24.

Mission 18
Contract : Planetary Assault
Planet : Escalon
Maximum Value : 376,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 3
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 4
             Assault Mechs - 0
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Desert
                Temperature - 80
                Gravity - 2.0
Mission Objectives : Stop the enemy mechs from destroying the base
                    Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : There are a lot of heavy enemy mechs present in this mission, so try
          to stay close to the base and quickly destroy the enemies that get
          too close. Try aiming for the weaker mechs first, to quickly lessen
          the amount of enemies pounding at the base.

Go to the club and take a look at another holovid left by Vermin. It seems that
the planetary assault on Escalon was a decoy, and Zach is now trying to destroy
some desperately needed supplies of mech parts on Puxi.

Proceed to Mission 20.

Mission 19
Contract : Planetary Assault
Planet : Dalview
Maximum Value : 374,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 2
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 4
             Assault Mechs - 0
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Earth
                Temperature - 49
                Gravity - 1.6
Mission Objectives : Stop the enemy mechs from destroying the base
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : Work as fast as you can in dealing with the enemy mechs. The base
          won't be able to last long, so try going after the enemy mechs
          nearest to the base first.

Go to the club and talk to Cearle. He says he heard a few mercenaries talking
about something that sounded real important. He says that they headed off to
Escalon to see what they can find, and he suggests that you go on there to
follow them yourself.
Vermin has left another holovid. In it, she states that they have been able to
confirm several points about the Dark Wing Lance. She says that there are in
fact 4 members, but neither Wolf nor Zach are the brains behind the operation.
She then goes on to say something about the other 2 members of the Dark Wing
Lance, but the holovid becomes damaged, ending the message.
I guess you'd better head on over to Escalon then.

Proceed to Mission 21.

Mission 20
Contract : Security Duty
Planet : Puxi
Maximum Value : 385,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 3

             Heavy Mechs - 4
             Assault Mechs - 0
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Ice
                Temperature - -55
                Gravity - 0.7
Mission Objectives : Protect the bases
                    Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : Destroy the enemies closest to the bases first, then go after the
          others. Try to aim for the weaker mechs first to quickly lessen the
          number of enemies.

Go talk to Larman in the club. He is thankful that Zach was stopped, but he
says that Zach appeared to have escaped to Jamison.

Proceed to Mission 22.

Mission 21
Contract : Offensive Campaign
Planet : Escalon
Maximum Value : 394,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 2
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 2
             Assault Mechs - 2
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Desert
                Temperature - 80
                Gravity - 2.0
Mission Objectives : Stop the enemy mechs from destroying the base
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : There's only one base to protect, so you'll have to destroy the
          enemy mechs quickly. The assault mechs show up for the first time in
          this mission. They're only a little stronger than the heavy mechs,
          they are also slower, so you'll probably have no trouble dealing
          with them at a distance.

Go to the club, Roden is waiting there for you. He has confirmed that Zach is
indeed a member of the Dark Wing Lance. He is watching Zach's every move, and
tells you that Zach has just caught a ride to Cawdor.

Contract : Garrison Duty
Planet : Jamison
Maximum Value : 401,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 3
             Medium Mechs - 3
             Heavy Mechs - 4
             Assault Mechs - 0
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Enemy Base
                Temperature - 26
                Gravity - 2.5
Mission Objectives : Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : Since there are a lot of enemies present here, try to conserve your
          ammunition. Homing missiles would be your best weapon against them.

Go to the club. Lana has left another holovid, saying that Zach was able to
escape from them, again. However, she also says that they've tracked a drop
ship that is leaving for Rostov, with Zach probably in it.
Meece is also looking for you. He says that he needs someone with a good eye,
and asks you if you'd want to help him. If you offer to help him, he will ask
you to return to him the stuff he left in Qutang, since his mech is all busted
up at the moment. He says there might be a big wad of C-Bills in it for you.
On the News Net, you'll read that the House Of Davion has placed Zach on the
"Most Wanted List" due to his alleged connections to the Dark Wing Lance. It
says that anyone with information should contact the proper authorities
immediately, and that reward is negotiable.
Right now, you could either search for Meece's stuff in Qutang, or you could
try to go after Zach in Rostov and move on with the story.

If you wish to go help out Meece, proceed to Mission 25. If you'd rather try to
go after Zach in Rostov, proceed to Mission 27.

Contract : Riot Duty
Planet : Cawdor
Maximum Value : 382,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 3
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 2
             Assault Mechs - 0
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Lava
                Temperature - 127
                Gravity - 3.7
Mission Objectives : Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : Another simple mission, just destroy everything that comes in your
          way. Try to keep the enemy mechs at a distance to minimize the
          amount of damage done to your mech.

Go to the club. Lana has left another holovid, saying that Zach was able to
escape from them, again. However, she also says that they've tracked a drop
ship that is leaving for Rostov, with Zach probably in it.

Planet : Puxi
Maximum Value : 410,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 3
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 2
             Assault Mechs - 0
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Ice
                Temperature - -55
                Gravity - 0.7
Mission Objectives : Stop the enemy mechs from destroying the bases
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : There are 2 bases here for you to protect, so that should keep the
          enemy mechs busy enough for you to have no problems in destroying
          them one by one. Try to stay in the area between the 2 bases so you
          can easily go after enemies that go near them.

Go to the club and take a look at another holovid left by Lana. She has just
been informed that Zach is believed to be operating from a particular location
nearby. She suggests that an objective raid should be organized immediately
after his ammunition supply has been located.
It's time for you to sign up for an objective raid on Qutang.

Proceed to Mission 26.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mission 25
Contract : Recon Raid
Planet : Qutang
Maximum Value : 419,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 1
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 4
             Assault Mechs - 1
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Earth
                Temperature - 41
                Gravity - 1.2
Mission Objectives : Locate and retrieve the goods
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : Like the other raid-type missions, you need to keep destroying
          enemy mechs until one of them drops the goods. Try going after the
          weaker mechs first, and grab the goods as soon as you can, to
          minimize the amount of damage to your mech and to conserve your
          ammunition.
Head on over to the club and get your reward from Meece, a whopping 150,000
C-Bills. He says that if you come see him later, he'll be sure to throw some
more work your way.
Now it's time for you to try and go after Zach in Rostov.
Proceed to Mission 27.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Mission 26
Contract : Objective Raid
Planet : Qutang
Maximum Value : 415,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 2
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 4
             Assault Mechs - 1
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Earth
                Temperature - 41
                Gravity - 1.2
Mission Objectives : Locate and retrieve the ammunition stash
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : The same as the other raid missions, you'll need to keep destroying
          the enemy mechs until one of them drops the ammunition stash. Don't
          hold back on the use of your missiles, since the ammunition stash
          will fully reload your mech's weapons after the mission.
Go to the club and take a look at yet another holovid left by Lana. She has
just reported that the recent mission was unsuccessful. They believe that Zach
was tipped off just minutes before the raid. However, she is now following up
on another lead on Drena.

Proceed to Mission 28.

Mission 27
Contract : Planetary Assault
Planet : Rostov
Maximum Value : 444,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 1
             Medium Mechs - 3
             Heavy Mechs - 4
             Assault Mechs - 1
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Enemy Base
                Temperature - 20
                Gravity - 2.2
Mission Objectives : Stop the enemy mechs from destroying the bases
                    Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : There are a lot of enemy mechs in this mission, but at least there
          are 2 other targets to keep them busy. Be quick in destroying the
          enemies though, since those bases won't be able to last for very
          long.

Head on over to the club and talk to Cearle. It seems that Zach stopped by the
club earlier. He says he heard Zach talking about 2 planets, one was Kagran and
the other was a planet which had an island resembling the shape of a bat.
Right now you could either go to Kagran and look for more leads, or you could
try and look for Zach on the planet with the bat-shaped island, Galeton, and
move on with the story.

If you wish to look for more leads on Kagran, proceed to Mission 29. If you'd
rather go and look for Zach on Galeton, proceed to Mission 30.

Mission 28
Contract : Security Duty
Planet : Drena
Maximum Value : 424,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 1
             Medium Mechs - 3
             Heavy Mechs - 4
             Assault Mechs - 1
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Enemy Base
                Temperature - 32
                Gravity - 2.8
Mission Objectives : Protect the base
                    Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : Stay close to the base. Quickly destroy all of the enemy mechs that
          get close, aiming for them one at a time. Try to destroy the weaker
          enemy mechs to make it easier.

If you wish to look for more leads on Kagran, proceed to Mission 29. If you'd

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mission 29
Contract : Siege Campaign
Planet : Kagran
Maximum Value : 433,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 1
             Medium Mechs - 3
             Heavy Mechs - 4
             Assault Mechs - 1
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Ice
                Temperature - -30
                Gravity - 0.4
Mission Objectives : Destroy the enemy base
Difficulty : Very Easy
Strategy : Quickly head for the enemy base, and hold the B button once it falls
          within your weapons' range. Don't bother fighting with the enemy
          mechs, and the mission will end in just a few seconds.
Go to the club and look over another holovid Roden left for you. He was able to
bribe some mercenaries into telling him about someone trying to hire them for
riot duty on the planet with the bat-shaped island. He tells you that that
someone has got to be Zach.
Prepare your mech for some serious punishment, then head on over to Galeton.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Mission 30
Contract : Riot Duty
Planet : Galeton
Maximum Value : 462,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 1
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 4
             Assault Mechs - 1
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Earth
                Temperature - 30
                Gravity - 1.0
Mission Objectives : Destroy Zach Slasher's mech
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : Much like the first "boss battle", Zach will only come out once
          you've destroyed the first 3 enemy mechs. Zach fights in exactly the
          same way as Wolf, but his mech is a bit slower on land and faster in
          the air. Again, try to keep him as far away as possible. 6 medium
          ranged homing missile launchers should be enough to take him down
          while keeping him at the edge of your radar screen. He may be
          tougher the Wolf, but he isn't that much harder. After you destroy
          Zach's mech, the other enemy mechs in this mission won't show up.

" I'll have to play it a bit cooler if I'm going to locate the other Dark Wing
Lance members. If word gets out that I took out the first two, the other guys
in the Lance will be sure to come after me! "

Go to the club and talk to Cearle. He advises you to watch your back. It seems
like some of the mercenaries didn't like what you did to Zach. He guesses that
maybe that's because they don't want you to hassle your fellow mercenaries.
Vermin has left another holovid. She has just realized that someone else
besides her is after the Dark Wing Lance members, since the second member of
the group was recently defeated. She guesses that the one who took out Zach is
the same person who took out Wolf.
Go read what's on the News Net. It looks like the House Of Davion is requesting
for the help of mercenaries for some riot duty on Cawdor.
Go patch up your mech after the punishment it took from fighting Zach, and head
on over to Cawdor.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mission 31
Contract : Riot Duty
Planet : Cawdor
Maximum Value : 534,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 1
             Medium Mechs - 3
             Heavy Mechs - 2
             Assault Mechs - 2
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Lava
                Temperature - 127
                Gravity - 3.7
Mission Objectives : Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : Again, just try to engage enemy mechs one at a time, and try to fire
          at them from a distance.
Go to the club and take a look at another holovid that Roden left for you. He
says that he's been asking around for people with the initials D.S., and that
the only one who has a name that fits is Duff Skully. Roden asks you to send
him Duff's profile as soon as possible.
Larman is also in the club. He tells you that some of the other mercenaries are
planning something, but he doesn't know who it's against. However, he does know
that they've already sent supplies ahead of them to Solaris. So head on over to
Solaris.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Mission 32
Contract : Objective Raid
Planet : Solaris
Maximum Value : 523,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 1
             Medium Mechs - 3
             Heavy Mechs - 2
             Assault Mechs - 2
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Lava
                Temperature - 115
                Gravity - 3.1
Mission Objectives : Locate and retrieve the supplies
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : Once again, you'll need to keep destroying enemy mechs until one of
          them drops the supplies. Engage the enemies from a distance one at a
          time, and grab the supplies as soon as possible to conserve your
          ammunition.

Go to the club. Lana has left another holovid. She has found out that the
mercenaries have been playing it "low key" since the latest message on the News
Net. She recommends offering garrison assignments on Zhada to maintain the new
onset of peace.
Meece is also in the club, and he asks you for some help in finding some
Lostech that was said to be left on Zacapa. He says that if you can find it, he
will cut you in on some of the profits.
Right now you could either search for the Lostech on Zacapa, or you could sign
up for some garrison duty on Zhada and move on with the story.

If you wish to go help out Meece, proceed to Mission 33. If you'd rather go to
Zhada and move on with the story, proceed to Mission 34.

Mission 33
Contract : Recon Raid
Planet : Zacapa
Maximum Value : 575,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 1
             Medium Mechs - 3
             Heavy Mechs - 4
             Assault Mechs - 2
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Ice
                Temperature - -71
                Gravity - 0.9
Mission Objectives : Locate and retrieve the Lostech
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : This is almost the same as the previous mission, but with some
          additional enemy mechs. Just keep destroying the enemy mechs until
          one of them drops the Lostech.

Go talk to Meece at the club and collect your reward, a whopping 250,000
C-Bills. He advises you to spend the money wisely.
It's time to head on over to Zhada for some garrison duty.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mission 34
Contract : Garrison Duty
Planet : Zhada
Maximum Value : 526,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 2
             Medium Mechs - 3
             Heavy Mechs - 4
             Assault Mechs - 2
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Earth
                Temperature - 67
                Gravity - 1.5
Mission Objectives : Destroy Yerg Gantor's mech
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : You are ambushed! Well, don't worry much about it. Yerg fights in
          exactly the same way as the other 2 bosses before him, except that
          his mech is a bit slower and he doesn't fly much. Use the same
          tactics as before, just destroy the first 3 enemy mechs and Yerg
          will appear to fight with you alone. You probably won't have much
          trouble in keeping your distance from him, since his mech is a bit
          slow. After you destroy Yerg's mech, the other enemy mechs in this
          mission won't show up.
Go to the club and talk to Cearle. He heard about the holovid you picked up
from Yerg after you put an end to his little ambush. He says that Yerg will
definitely be red-faced now.
Go take a look at the holovid you got from Yerg. It shows him talking about his
planned ambush for you during the last mission.
Lana has left another holovid. It shows her requesting for some time off from
her superiors, due to the recent disappearance of one of her informants. She
says she will be unable to go to Rostov to carry on with House work, but will
instead be working on Jelenia.
Also, read what's on the News Net. The House Of Davion is instigating a full
scale siege campaign on Rostov where intelligence reports suggest Duff is
located. It looks like Duff broke into a high security section of a Davion
installation and stole top secret documents.
Right now, the story branches out into 2 short paths. You could either search
for Duff in Rostov, or you could follow Lana to Jelenia.
If you wish to search for Duff in Rostov, proceed to Mission 35. If you'd
rather follow Lana to Jelenia, proceed to Mission 39.
Mission 35
Contract : Siege Campaign
Planet : Rostov
Maximum Value : 600,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 1
             Medium Mechs - 3
             Heavy Mechs - 4
             Assault Mechs - 3
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Enemy Base
                Temperature - 20
                Gravity - 2.2
Mission Objectives : Destroy the enemy bases
Difficulty : Easy
Strategy : There are 2 bases here for you to destroy, but the mission is still
          relatively easy. Since the 2 bases are always near each other, head
          for the area between them and hold the B button to start attacking
          right away. After the first base is destroyed, just turn around and
          aim for the second one. Don't mind the enemy mechs, the mission
          should be over before they could do any major damage to your mech.
Go to the club. Meece wants you to do him another favor. He says that he heard
rumors about a big pile of C-Bills stashed somewhere on Zhada. He says that if
you find it, there should be enough money there to make you both rich.
Roden has left you another holovid. He tells you that Duff is nowhere near
Rostov. He says that it looks like somebody real smart set up a decoy which
managed to throw everyone off, except him. He says that Qutang is Duff's new
location.
Right now, you could either go find the C-Bill stash on Zhada, or you could go
search for Duff in Qutang and move on with the story.
If you wish to help out Meece, proceed to Mission 36. If you'd rather go and
search for Duff in Qutang and move on with the story, proceed to Mission 37.
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Earth
                Temperature - 67
                Gravity - 1.5
Mission Objectives : Locate and retrieve the money
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : Once again, just keep destroying enemy mechs until one of them drops
          the money stash. Grab the money as soon as you can to minimize the
          damage to your mech and to conserve your ammunition.
Go talk to Meece at the club and collect your reward, a whopping 150,000
C-Bills. He says that he knew he could count on you, but he adds that you
wouldn't have caught him risking his mech on such a dangerous mission.
It's time to head on over to Qutang and search for Duff.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Mission 37
Contract : Garrison Duty
Planet : Qutang
Maximum Value : 585,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 1
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 2
             Assault Mechs - 4
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Earth
                Temperature - 41
                Gravity - 1.2
Mission Objectives : Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : There are quite a number of enemy assault mechs in this mission, so
          try to keep your distance from them to keep you from getting too
          overwhelmed.

Go to the club and talk to Cearle. He tells you that he heard rumors about Duff
hanging out on Kagran, but he says that it could be wrong.
Lana has left another holovid. She is giving a report to her superiors, saying
that somebody is in the background masterminding some sort of plot. She adds
that they shouldn't underestimate the part that Duff plays in all of this.
Since you have no other leads to follow, head on over to Kagran.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mission 38
Contract : Security Duty
Planet : Kagran
Maximum Value : 660,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 1
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 2
             Assault Mechs - 4
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Ice
                Temperature - -30
                Gravity - 0.4
Mission Objectives : Protect the base
                    Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : Stay close to the base. Destroy the enemy mechs one by one as they
          approach the base. Try to conserve your ammunition for the heavily
          armored enemy mechs.
Go to the club. Vermin has left behind another holovid. She is giving a report
to her superiors. She says that intelligence reports indicate that Duff is
definitely laying low on a lava planet that contains several small lava pools.
She's going there now to put a stop once and for all to any other evil plans
that he may have.
You wouldn't be able to take your revenge on Duff if Vermin got to her first,
so you'd better prepare your mech for the tough battle coming up, head on over
quickly to the lava planet, Cawdor.
Proceed to Mission 42.
Mission 39
Contract : Offensive Campaign
Planet : Jelenia
Maximum Value : 554,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 1
             Medium Mechs - 3
             Heavy Mechs - 4
             Assault Mechs - 3
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Desert
                Temperature - 91
                Gravity - 2.3
Mission Objectives : Stop the enemy mechs from destroying the base
Difficulty : Hard
Strategy : There are a lot of enemy mechs in this mission, and there's only one
          base to protect, so you'll have to stay on top of the base and let
          your mech become a damage buffer between the base and the enemy
          attacks. Just remember to upgrade your mech's armor fully prior to
          this mission. Also, since there are quite a number of enemy mechs
          present which you need to destroy, you'll most definitely run out of
          missiles before the mission ends, so try to make each missile count.
          You might also want to equip your mech with a particle cannon, if
          you hadn't already done so, to make sure that you'll have a weapon
          to use when your missiles run out.
Go to the club. Lana has left another holovid. She needs your help. It seems
like the same people that have recently captured her informant has now captured
her as well. She says the only way for her to be released is to hand over the
plans she has stashed on Cawdor.
Since you're a good guy and all, head over to Cawdor and look for those plans.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Mission 40
Contract : Objective Raid
Planet : Cawdor
Maximum Value : 588,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 1
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 4
             Assault Mechs - 2
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Lava
                Temperature - 127
                Gravity - 3.7
Mission Objectives : Locate and retrieve the plans
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : Just keep destroying the enemy mechs until one of them drops the
          plans. Grab the plans as soon as you can to conserve your ammunition
          and to minimize the damage to your mech.

Go to the club and talk to Larman. He tells you that one of his many reliable
sources has just told him about something going down on Solaris. He says that
somebody's after some information that a spy has intercepted. He adds that it
doesn't make sense to him, but maybe you'll know what to do about it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mission 41
Contract : Riot Duty
Planet : Solaris
Maximum Value : 570,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 1
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 2
             Assault Mechs - 2
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Lava
                Temperature - 115
                Gravity - 3.1
Mission Objectives : Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : There's nothing special about this mission. Just destroy enemy mechs
          one by one until none of them remains.
Go to the club. Lana has left a holovid for you. She thanks you for saving her
from her captors. She knows that you're after Duff, so as a reward for saving
her, she tells you that you should find him in Cawdor.
Prepare your mech for the tough battle coming up, then head on over to Cawdor.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Mission 42
Contract : Riot Duty
Planet : Cawdor
Maximum Value : 654,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 1
             Medium Mechs - 1
             Heavy Mechs - 3
             Assault Mechs - 3
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Lava
                Temperature - 127
                Gravity - 3.7
Mission Objectives : Destroy Duff Skully's mech
Difficulty : Hard
Strategy : Again, this mission would be the same as the other "boss battles".
          3 enemy mechs will start up the mission, and Duff will appear to
          fight with you alone after the first 3 enemy mechs are destroyed.
          You should try to keep your distance from him as much as possible,
          but since the outer parts of the mission map are covered in lava, it
          would be difficult to keep your mech's temperature low. So, you
          should load up your mech with a few heatsinks prior to this mission,
          especially if you are using one or more laser weapons. Another way
          to fight him would be to load up your mech with 6 medium homing
          missile launchers and just hold the B button as soon as he comes
          within range, praying that you could deal a lot more hits and damage
          than he does. After you destroy Duff's mech, the other enemy mechs
          in this mission won't show up.

" Hmmm. Three down, one to go. But this next one looks like he's going to be
the hardest one to track down by far. Nobody knows who the head of the Dark
Wing Lance really is. "

Go to the club. Vermin has left another holovid. She has just found out that
Duff has also been taken out by the unknown individual who took out the first 2
members of the Dark Wing Lance.
Go talk to Cearle. Yerg, the one who tried to kill you off in an ambush not too
long ago, left him a holovid to give to you.
Go take at that holovid you just got. It seems that Yerg has been really
impressed with the work you've done so far, and he's wondering if you'd do some
work for him. He says he'd pay you top dollar of course, and he'll even give
you a bonus - the location of the head of the Dark Wing Lance. He tells you to
head on over to Quilon if you're in.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mission 43
Contract : Offensive Campaign
Planet : Quilon
Maximum Value : 575,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 1
             Medium Mechs - 1
             Heavy Mechs - 2
             Assault Mechs - 4
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Lava
                Temperature - 120
                Gravity - 3.4
Mission Objectives : Stop the enemy mechs from destroying the base
Difficulty : Hard
Strategy : The missions become quite hard from this point onwards. You'll find
          a huge amount of heavily armored enemy mechs that deal a lot of
          damage, and you'll usually find yourself constantly running out of
          missiles before each mission is over. Anyway, just head on over to
          the base and stay on top of it. The base won't last very long under
          the continuous barrage of enemy fire, so you'll have to stay near it
          and try to soak up some of the damage. Just remember to equip your
          mech with all the armor it can carry. As for your weapons, you
          should equip your mech with a particle cannon and 5 homing missile
          launchers, preferably the short ranged ones. You could also use the
          medium ranged homing missiles instead, but you'll risk running out
          of ammunition in the middle of battle. It would probably take you a
          good number of tries before you complete this mission, so just keep
          trying.
Go to the club and take a look at another holovid that Yerg left for you. He
tells you that you did real good. He says that your next mission, if you decide
to take it, will be a little more dangerous. The mission is a siege campaign on
Rostov.
Vermin has also left another holovid. She is telling her superiors that if she
was the head of the Dark Wing Lance, she'd start to panic since it looks like
the mercenary that has already gone after the first 3 members of the Dark Wing
Lance is now going after the last surviving member.
Well then, you'd better head on over to Rostov for your next mission.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Mission 44
Contract : Siege Campaign
Planet : Rostov
Maximum Value : 644,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 2
             Medium Mechs - 1
             Heavy Mechs - 4
             Assault Mechs - 4
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Enemy Base
                Temperature - 20
                Gravity - 2.2
Mission Objectives : Destroy the enemy bases
Difficulty : Easy
Strategy : There are a lot of heavily armored enemy mechs in this mission, but
          they shouldn't concern you. Just pump out as much ammunition as fast
          as you can on the bases and the mission will end.

Go to the club. Lana has left another holovid. She says that her suspicions
were right, that since some of the head honchos have been stopped, the
remaining people have been recruiting new members. She says that she is
currently looking into who they might be.
Go and take a look at what's on the News Net. It looks like the security at a
high level intelligence installation on Jelenia has been compromised by a
break-in, and that security forces will be stepped-up in the region.
Go on and sign up for a mission on Jelenia.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mission 45
Contract : Security Duty
Planet : Jelenia
Maximum Value : 626,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 2
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 4
             Assault Mechs - 4
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Desert
                Temperature - 91
                Gravity - 2.3
Mission Objectives : Protect the base
                    Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty : Hard
Strategy : With heavy mechs and assault mechs making up over half of the enemy
          units, you will have to work extra hard and extra fast in destroying
          them. They can destroy the base you are supposed to protect in only
          a few moments. Head straight for the base and stay on top of it for
          your mech to block off some of the damage. Try to equip your mech
          with 6 short ranged missile launchers prior to the mission. The 300
          missiles they have should be enough to finish the mission, but try
          your best to conserve your ammunition, aiming for the enemy mech
          bodies, to make sure that they don't run out. It would probably take
          you quite a number of tries before you complete this mission, but
          you should be able complete it eventually.
Go to the club. Yerg has left a holovid for you. He says he's sorry you weren't
able to find him, because something else came up. He tells you that there's
some more work they want to be done on Zacapa, or, if you feel like you're up
to it, they've got a real dangerous job on Drena.
If you wish to sign up for the job on Zacapa, proceed to Mission 46. If you'd
rather sign up for the dangerous job on Drena, proceed to Mission 47.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Mission 46
Contract : Garrison Duty
Planet : Zacapa
Maximum Value : 621,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 2
             Medium Mechs - 1
             Heavy Mechs - 4
             Assault Mechs - 4
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Ice
                Temperature - -71
                Gravity - 0.9
Mission Objectives : Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty : Hard
Strategy : There's a lot of heavily armored enemy mechs in this mission, so try
          to conserve your ammunition so that you don't run out. Again, just
          engage the enemy mechs one at a time to lessen the damage done to
          your mech.

Go to the club and talk to Meece. He tells you that he got a real big tip this
time. He says that a whole lot of money has been lost on Jamison, and asks you
to go on over there and make the both of you rich.
Cearle also tells you it's good that you're in with the boys now, but there's
something he doesn't like about Yerg. He advises you to lay low for a little
while, and maybe pick up some easy work on Galeton.
Right now, you could either go look for the lost money on Jamison, or you could
go sign up for some work on Galeton and move on with the story.

If you wish to help out Meece, proceed to Mission 48. If you'd rather sign up
for some work on Galeton and move on with the story, proceed to Mission 49.

Contract : Planetary Assault
Planet : Drena
Maximum Value : 605,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 2

             Heavy Mechs - 2
             Assault Mechs - 4
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Enemy Base
                Temperature - 32
                Gravity - 2.8
Mission Objectives : Stop the enemy mechs from destroying the base
                    Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty : Hard
Strategy : Try to stay on top of the base and quickly destroy all of the enemy
          mechs that come near it. Work fast in destroying the enemy mechs
          since the single base won't be able to last long under enemy fire.

Go to the club and talk to Meece. He tells you that he got a real big tip this
time. He says that a whole lot of money has been lost on Jamison, and asks you
to go on over there and make the both of you rich.

Mission 48
Contract : Recon Raid
Planet : Jamison
Maximum Value : 635,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 2
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 2
             Assault Mechs - 3
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Enemy Base
                Temperature - 26
                Gravity - 2.5
Mission Objectives : Locate and retrieve the money
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : Just like the previous missions of this type, just destroy the enemy
          mechs you encounter until one of them drops the money. Try going
          after the weaker enemy mechs first to conserve your ammunition, and
          grab the money as soon as you can to minimize the damage done to
          your mech.

Go talk to Meece at the club and collect your reward, a whopping 400,000
C-Bills. He says you've really hit the jackpot this time, and adds that he
doesn't know about you, but he's going to take an extended vacation.
Since you've got nothing else to do, you'd better take Cearle's advice now and
sign up for some easy work on Galeton.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mission 49
Contract : Riot Duty
Planet : Galeton
Maximum Value : 694,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 2
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 2
             Assault Mechs - 4
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Earth
                Temperature - 30
                Gravity - 1.0
Mission Objectives : Destroy all of the enemy mechs
Difficulty : Hard
Strategy : Destroy the enemy mechs one by one, aiming for the weaker mechs
          first. You shouldn't have any trouble here.
Go to the club and talk to Larman. He tells you that you've come to the right
person if you want to know what's going on. He then says that some of the key
mercenaries are now working from Quilon.
Vermin has left another holovid. She says that the head of the Dark Wing Lance
mercenaries has apparently decided that it's time to expand, and that is where
the mercenary underground has come from.
Go take a look at the News Net for some additional information. It seems like
the House Of Davion is employing all available resources to combat the
mercenary underground, and will continue to do so until every member has been
found. It adds that anyone with information will be well rewarded for their
efforts.
You'd better follow up on Larman's lead and head on over to Quilon.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Mission 50
Contract : Siege Campaign
Planet : Quilon
Maximum Value : 680,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 2
             Medium Mechs - 2
             Heavy Mechs - 2
             Assault Mechs - 3
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Lava
                Temperature - 120
                Gravity - 3.4
Mission Objectives : Destroy the enemy base
Difficulty : Easy
Strategy : This will be the last easy mission in the game. Don't worry about
          all of the enemy mechs in the mission. With the right weapons, you
          could destroy the single base in just a few seconds, so just head to
          the direction the base is on and unload all of your ammunition on it
          as quickly as you can.

Go to the club. Vermin has left another holovid. She says that intelligence
agents have learned that the mercenary underground has organized a hit on
Zhada. She adds that they've planted bombs at a number of installations, and
that the detonator is rumored to be hidden somewhere on the planet.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mission 51
Contract : Objective Raid
Planet : Zhada
Maximum Value : 682,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 2
             Medium Mechs - 1
             Heavy Mechs - 4
             Assault Mechs - 4
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Earth
                Temperature - 67
                Gravity - 1.5
Mission Objectives : Locate and disarm the detonator
Difficulty : Moderate
Strategy : Quite possible the hardest raid-type mission in the game, but not
          too hard. If you're lucky, the detonator will be dropped by the
          first enemy mech you destroy. Try to conserve your ammunition, just
          in case you need to destroy each and every one of the enemy mechs in
          this mission.
Go to the club. Three people left some holovids.
Vermin says that the mercenary underground has definitely been run by the Dark
Wing Lance. Apparently, the head of the Dark Wing Lance has been recruiting
other mercenaries to do his dirty work.
Lana says that she thinks she's onto something bigger than they've ever
imagined. She says that if her hunch is correct, the head of the Dark Wing
Lance has been under their noses the whole time.
Finally, Yerg tells you that you've done real good. He says that as he
promised, he'll tell you where the head of the Dark Wing Lance is. He tells you
to meet him on the base planet that has a battle arena in the center and he'll
set up a meeting between the both of you.
Well then, this is the moment you've been waiting for. Prepare your mech for
the tough battle ahead against the head of the Dark Wing Lance, and head on
over to Jamison.
*******************************************************************************
Before the mission starts, Lana contacts you, saying that you've been set up.
She says that Yerg has been using you, and that he is the head of the Dark Wing
Lance!
Yerg then terminates Lana's transmission, and talks to you himself! He tells
you that you might think you're smart, but you're not. He says that he's been
controlling your destiny from under your very nose.
He says that all good things must come to an end, and your end is only moments
away...
Mission 52
Contract : Riot Duty
Planet : Jamison
Maximum Value : 695,000 C-Bills
Enemy Units : Light Mechs - 2
             Medium Mechs - 1
             Heavy Mechs - 4
             Assault Mechs - 3
Planetary Data : Terrain Type - Enemy Base
                Temperature - 26
                Gravity - 2.5
Mission Objectives : Destroy Yerg Gantor's mech
Difficulty : Very Hard
Strategy : This is it, the final mission. As always, 3 enemy mechs will start
          up the mission, and Yerg will come out to fight with you alone once
          you've destroyed them all. I suggest that you equip your mech with
          6 short ranged homing missile launchers prior to this mission. It
          should have just enough ammunition to destroy all of the enemy mechs
          you'll encounter in this mission. Try to conserve your ammunition
          when fighting the first 3 enemy mechs you encounter. Once Yerg comes
          out, try to keep your distance while firing at him. He'll be able
          catch up with you anyway, but keeping your distance from him while
          you still can enables you to fire some clean shots at him while
          being free from the return fire of his machine guns. Once he comes
          near enough, he'll start using his mech's jumpjets to start flying
          around all over you while blasting away using his machine guns. At
          this point, you should try to keep moving around, so you'll be able
          to avoid some damage from his machine guns. It might take you quite
          some time before you finally take him down, so be patient. Once you
          deal enough punishment, Yerg's mech explodes, completing the mission
          and ending the game.
" No goal was more important, no cause was more noble, than to restore your
family's honor. And there you were...
Shot after shot rang out as each weapon blasted away at the rapidly
disintegrating mech. Finally, in one great explosion, Gantor's mech collapsed
into a smoking heap.
Only now can you breath a sigh of relief and rest assured that the Dark Wing
Lance's reign of terror has finally been stopped - by you!!! "
*******************************************************************************
                Congratulations! You've just beaten the game!
