FAQ for items converting to Lufia II(SNES)
I played Lufia II on an EMU and got tired to buy stuff. I searched for a cheat
using cheat search and came to one. Upon entering, I started to
experiment with it and discovered a glitch. With its help you could have heaps
of $$$, lots of rare items (Gades Blade, etc.), items you wouldn`t be able to
get in any other way, strange items and a lot more!

The following cheat acts as a Coliseum in FF3:
7E09F4??
7E0A8E??
where ?? is the double of the number of items, you want to have
in the 1st slot.
Example: You want to have 99 items in your 1st slot. So you have to double this
number (198) and turn it into hexadecimal (C6). Your cheats will be:
7E09F4C6
7E0A8EC6
Then you can exchange items in the 1st slot, and get 99 of them.

Sometimes this cheat gives you rare items like a RANDOM ITEM GG CHEAT in FF3. I
got Plati Set of Equipment, Eron Hat and a lot of others. They just appear in
your inventory (Zircon Rod at Alunze Kingdom, for example)

This cheat will work if: The item you wish exchange with is single (not sure).

Not all the items change into another items, most of the weapons and
armor don`t change. Alternatively, all the rocks and rings, and some(maybe all)
of the helms change, I think so, till now it was correct.

Never sell all the items in the first slot, do this only if you wanna see the
"No Equip" item (sold for 0GP, useless)

I found a glitch at NorthEast Tower (you meet Amon there). In the room with
the transporters and many arrows, after getting the Samu Jewel, I could walk
on air. I think, the programmers forgot to set the properties of the black
spaces to blocking.

According to the list by now, every rock and ring turn into weapons, every
helm turns into an usable/usable in battle item. Maybe it is connected to the
arrangement of the items in the memory of the ROM. - It is correct: the swords
are the first in the list, after them are helmets, after them the usable items
amd the last are rocks and rings. The last item turns into a first one, the
preceding one turns into a second, etc. Still there may be bugs in it, so, if
you find something, correct me.

At the very beginning(actually at the intro scene, as Maxim walks towards
Tia`s shop turn the cheat on and after Tia gave you the money ( "Here is your
money") and you can move, DO NOT open the menu, but turn off the cheat. Now
open the items menu, and you should see your 10 potions turned into some Holy
Shields (for the cheat with 50 items it comes to 27 shields).

Added more stuff, I think the list is complete, found two helmets that change
to weapons instead of usable items. The list is now contains 107 different
items, although I think, that there should be 128 (power of 2). I will very

Long no seen! I was busy translating Lufia II into Hebrew, for my friends, it
is roughly 75 percent translated now, but I won`t release the patch, because
the wanted ones are the English patches, and Lufia II is already in English.
Added one glitch, discovered at the very beginning of the game.
The FAQ has now a new look (the tables and the titles are centered)
Added an Author`s info section.
