/2) Story\
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A war between the USN (United States of the New Continent, enemy) and
the OCU (Oceana Community Union) begin because of the Larcus Incident.
The USN blows up the Factory (or whatever it is) and blames it on
the OCU. An year later, the Huffman Island becomes a territory of the
OCU, the game begins...
_____________
/3) Characters\
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Name Description
====================
Roid The Commander of the OCU. He is good Short and Long attacks,
and is the most (You) powerful Pilot. You get to name him
whatever you want. Another thing is that he's in all of the
missions, that means he gets the most experience points. Try
to have him kill the Mech(s) that only has a little bit of
life left so that he can gain easy experiences.
Sakata Your first partner in your first mission. He can be very
strong if you train him well. He joins your team on the
second mission.
Natalie Not very useful. She is doesn't do much unless the
missions can use all of your Wanzers. She joins you on the
second mission.
Keith One of the most powerful fighter. In the first mission, he
has a gun. Do not put guns on him, have him fight so that his
"Double" skill is used. He can also learn the most skills,
for an fighter.
J.J Not very useful. He also joins you on the second mission.
Fredrick Useless. He's a reporter reporting on the crashed plane in
the third mission. He joins you because he gets attack by
the USN.
Yang Powerful fighter. I use her a lot during battle. She joins
you if you beat her in a battle at Grey Rock
Paul You can get him at Grey Rock.
Pewee He drives the Supply Car. Not very strong duel to the weapon
on the Supply Car.
Hans A spy. She is good at long range attack. She joins you at
Freedom City because she's running away from the military
since she hacked their computer.
Gregorio A strong fighter that can do nothing else but fighting.
Get him by defeating him at Freedom City.
Maury Some old mother you can from the mission after Freedom City.
I personally hate her period.
Bobby He joins you at Peseta. Friend with Porguna.
Porguna A good fighter. He joins you at Peseta. Friend with Bobby.
Yeehin A spy? for the USN. He joins you OCU frontbase. Yang's
Brother.
Ralph A normal fighter. You can get him by defeating him at the
Coliseum of Fort Monus.

/4) Walkthrough\
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Basic Battling:
Have your Wanzer use all there missiles at first. Then some attack, and
maybe reload missiles. Repair if your HP is low, and things like that
are basic.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission #1
Enemy Units: 4
Boss Unit: Driscoll
Objective: Kill all Enemy Units
You start off in a Zenith Wanzer (which is pretty good for the start).
First, go closer to the Enemy, but don't get close to Driscoll orhe might
attack you. Have Roid and Sakata kill everybody (so that they get more exp.
point) and have the other guy stand right where he started so that he does
not get exp. (he's not a party member). Simply attack with Roid and Sakata.
This mission is extemely easy, so don't worry about a thing. When you
destory all 4 of the Enemy's Units, Driscoll will blow up the factory and
blames it on the OCU. Then you win!
You'll be automatically send to the Colosseum where you'll fight a Red
Wanzer named(I forgot). Doesn't matter if you win or losses, but you get
exp. if you win. Afterwords, Olson win have you in charge of the New Elite
Force and give you 1000 Dollers to upgrade your Mech.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Barinden City
Preferred Mech here:
Body: Zenith (looks better)
R/L Arm: Zenith
Legs: Zola 3A
Computer: AIIC
Weapons: Siege and Sieger
The only thing you want to do here is to upgrade your Mech. Go to shop then
setup. When you're ready, go to Military Office and you'll meet Olson. He
ask you if you're ready or not, chose yes to go on, chose no if you want to
stay longer. If you chose yes, you'll meet Sakata and Natalie who'll join
your group. Then, you'll go in to your second mission.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission #2
Enemy Units: 6 ?
Commander: 1 (Zola 3A)
Boss Unit: None
Objective: Kill all Enemy Units
First, have everybody go to the middle of the screen and have the enemy
come to you. This way all your Mechs fight only one or two enemys. If you
have them all over the place, some will be standing there doing nothing and
others will be attack by 3 other Mechs. Have Roid finish of the Commander
so he gets more experience than other (because he's in all your missions).
You should have no problem beating this mission since this is only the
second one. When you win, you'll be rewarded with money.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
New Milgan City
Preferred Mech:
Body: Tempest
R/L Arm: Tempest
Legs: Tempest / Vapor
Computer: Stick with your current ones. Except for Roid.
Weapons: Grave and Winee, Bone and Bone
There are some better equipment here. You'll need to upgrade your
Wanzers because you'll be using them for 2 missions. Roid should be
atleast level 2 by now. My Roid was level 3 here. When you're ready,
go to the Military Office.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission #3
Enemy Units: 7
Commander: 1 Zenith
Boss Unit: None
Objective: Kill all Enemy Units, try to save Fredrick, recover the
new advance weapon from the plane.
First of all, Fredrick is an NPC player, which will most likely get
kill so there is no point of trying to save him (He joins you anyway).
Second of all, you cannot get to the Long Range Weapon (Egret) to
recover it before the enemy can. So what I do is as soon as the Pavot
Wanzer gets the weapon, keep attacking him until he's destory.
Otherwise, he can cost you some troble. Hint: The only two person I
really trained hard was Roid and Keith because they are the strongest
allys you'll have in the game. After you beat this mission, you'll be
back at New Milgan. Just to let you know, I made Keith a fighter,
therefore he'll be using fighting weapons.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
New Milgan City
Go to the Military Office for next mission.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission #4
Enemy Units: 10
Commander: 1 (Galvo)
Boss Unit: None
Objective: Escort supply cars to the north. Eliminate enemies.
Whooo... doesn't sound easy, does it? The first time I played this
game I couldn't pass this level. OK. To have a easier battle, do this.
Have the first 3-4 Wanzer move north up the road and protect the first
supply car. Have the rest of the Wanzers move to the middle
(north-east of the second supply car). Try taking out the long-range
Wanzer first, but it really doesn't make much different. When you take
out all the enemies unit, next destination.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Menasa
Preferred Mech:
Body: Husky Mk. IV
R/L Arm: Husky Mk. IV
Legs: Husky Mk. IV
Computer: All your pilots will have the same computers you can get here.
So no real need to upgrade. I suggest using Meteor.
Backpack: Only one choice.
Weapons: PAP55 and Ibis, WS-20 and Galvados.
Fighter Mech:
Body: Husky Mk. IV
R/L Arm: Husky Mk. IV
Legs: Husky Mk. IV
Computer: PIAPI 3A
Backpack: Chipmunk
Weapons: None, use arms which delivers more damage, Galvados and
Galvados for long range capability.
So new weapons available. Take your pick. If you made Keith a fighter
like I did, go to setup and take off the F-1 Tonfar because Husky
Mk.'s arm does more damage than the Tonfar. When you're done upgrading
your Wanzers, head to the Military Office to find that you have some
free time. So now head to the Colosseum.
Here, you'll meet Yang for the first time. Answer Yes when she ask you
something. Then she'll tell you to go and get prepared. When you're
ready enter the Colosseum again and battle her. She shouldn't be too
hard to beat. Ibis will make ease of her. Yang joins after she's
defeated. Now that you done all this, head to the Military Office for
your next mission.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission #5
Enemy Units: 9
Commander: 3 (Gizeh)
Boss Unit: Driscoll (TYPE11DS)
Objective: Eliminate all hostile.
I beat this mission with 4 Wanzer, plus Paul. Driscoll will start to
come towards you a turn after the enemy supply car come. This mission
is not too hard if you got the hang of the game by now. So my advice
is to take Yang and help out Paul, she can probably take care of three
Wanzers over there. If she needs help, send in Sakata since he's the
closest one there. Put the rest of your Wanzers in the road junction
just east of Paul. Engage the enemy from there. By the time Driscoll
gets close to the junction, you should already have disabled around
5 Wanzers and kill atleast 3. So there aren't that many left.
Becareful though, don't let him get to you or else you're dead. So
if he gets too close dog fight with him and use your long range on
the targets.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Grey Rock City
Preferred Mech:
Body: Moth VR. 5
R/L Arm: Moth VR. 5
Legs: Moth VR. 5
Computer: Stick with the ones you have, or change to Crier.
Backpack: There is only one, Chipmunk
Weapons: Leosocial and Empire, WS-20 and Egret (Piz for Roid)
Fighter Mech:
Body: Moth VR. 5
R/L Arm: Moth VR. 5
Legs: Moth VR. 5
Computer: Crier
Backpack: Chipmunk
Weapons: Double F-2 Tonfar, Double Egret.
You'll meet Hans here for the first time. Talk to her, and you'll find
out that Yang has a brother, Yeehin. Yang want Hans to find him for
her. Then Roid will want to Hans to find Karen, to see if she's alive
or not. After that upgrade your Wanzers. You might need to go to the
Colosseum to earn some money to buy your new parts. So upgrade what
you think is needed, and head to the military office. Make sure you
give them good weapons since you'll be facing a extremely hard battle
and you'll need these for three missions in a row.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission #6
Enemy Units: 11
Commander: 2 in Gizeh
Boss Unit: 3
Objective: Eliminate the three USN SAM units in 10 turns.
First of all, you're here to destory the SAM launchers, but there are
enemy mechs all over. You'll have to destory the launchers in 10
turns. Generally speaking, the launchers takes about 3 Egret Missiles
for it to be destoyed. So plan ahead. Don't read below if you don't
want me to tell you how to beat it. This will be the way it is from
now on. If you don't want spoilers or you want to try it yourself
first, don't read the next paragraph, instead skip to the paragraph
AFTER the NEXT. Also, I'll only mention the Pilots I used in the
mission, meaning if I didn't use them I will NOT talk about them in
those missions.
Now for tactical. Have Sakata and J.J. move west, Then Yang and Keith
moving directly south. Then have Roid go south, head for the middle
SAM. Roid should be backup by Peewee, which should always be around
2-6 spaces from your front line. Since I didn't use Natalie or
Frederick in this mission, they'll not be mentioned here. Now the
enemy's turn, most of them will move towards you, kill them as they
came. By the end of turn 3, the Wanzer blocking Keith and Yang's way
should be destory, and the other two continue to come and block your
way. So take Roid and destory the SAM in the north. So on turn 4 use
Egrets and destory the northmost SAM on the map. One down 2 to go. Now
if the enemies are disabled, don't attack them anymore! Since time is
a factor here, just leave them, and come back for them later. After
destory the first SAM take Roid, Keith, and Yang and move them
towards the center SAM. On the other side, at turn 4, Sakata and
J.J. should have destoryed atleast 1 of the Wanzer and turn
5 should be another one. Leave them turn 6-7 to destory the SAM unit
in the west of the map. There is only one left, by now, you should
know what to do. I myself destoryed all 3 SAM units by turn 7, that
means I had 3 turns left.
After you defeat everyone, mission complete! Now when you're back on
the world map, make sure you don't head straight for the next area!
Instead, press down on your gamepad and return to Grey Rock so that
you can save. Now exit again and head to the next area for your next
mission.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission #7
Enemy Units: 12 - 6 Elite Units, 6 Missilers
Commander: 1 (Grieg)
Boss Unit: None
Objective: Destory all enemy units.
Here it is, I would say this is one of the hardest battle of the
game. You're up against the elite squad of the USN. There are a total
of 6 of them, plus 6 normal units. Considering all the facts, it'll
look very bad for your side. First, you're out numbered. Second, your
Wanzer and weapons and no much to theirs (Not even CLOSE!). Then you
might ask, then how am I suppost to beat them? Well there always is a
way my friend.
So here's tactical. Move all your units north, yes, that means moving
them up the hill. If you get lucky, you MIGHT be able to destroy one
of them using Piz and Egret before he even gets to you. If not, he'll
attack you and if he attacks Roid, Roid will probably kill him before
he even attacks (If you train him well).
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission #8 - Freedom City
Enemy Units: 15 - 7 Attackers, 5 Missilers, 3 Carriers
Commander: 1 in Clavecih
Boss Unit: Commander in Clinton Type
Objective: Destory all enemy units.
This mission should not be too hard. What I suggest is you go east
from where you start, then go around and kill everything in your
way. By the time you get to the bridge in the north the USN command
Machine "CLINTON TYPE" should start moving towards you. So be prepare
for that. About 6-8 Egret missiles should take care of it, but then
I send in Roid and did like 260 damage to it in one turn haha
(Leosocial did 40 x 4, then switch to Empire and did another 60). So
after you beat it you finally get a little rest. You get Hans at the
end of this mission. She's pretty good to play long range.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Freedom City
Preferred Mech:
Body: Zeareid
R/L Arm: Zeareid
Legs: Zeareid
Computer: Argento
Backpack: Race Horse
Weapons: Hexafire and Grave-S, WS-14 and Goldius (Piz for Roid)
Fighter Mech:
Body: Frost
R/L Arm: Zeareid
Legs: Zeareid
Computer: Ruido
Backpack: Race Horse
Weapons: F-3 Tonfar and hand, Double Goldius.
Have fun with the new toys that you can get your hands on. Then go to
the Colosseum and challenge Gregorio, beat him and get him to join.
When you're done, go to the Military Office, then you a next mission.
Go to it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission #9
Enemy Units: 11 - 5 Attackers, 4 Missilers, 2 Carriers.
Commander: 1 in Moth
Boss Unit: None
Objective: Destory all enemy units, and take a look of the area so
the OCU can determind if this can be made into a base.
Here you'll see a destoryed town, and a cilivan Wanzer. Her name is
Maury, who I hate. So here all you have to do is destory a few
Panzies lol. Let Maury die if you want, no point of saving her. Then
just beat the crap out of the rest of them. After you're done you get
some money and you're back at the town.
After you report to Olson, you'll find out that Maury had trick Keith
and J.J. to an ambush.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission #10
Enemy Units: 12 - 5 Attackers, 4 Missilers, 3 Carriers.
Commander: 3 in Moth
Boss Unit: None
Objective: Destory all enemy units. Save Maury if you can.
If you upgraded Maury, she shouldn't die that easily, as long as you
give her some support. She'll join you after this battle, which I find
fair easy since I did beat it with just deploying Roid and Yang (with
the ones already there). Roid was already level 33, so it made easy
work of them :P
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission #11 - Mail River
Enemy Units: 11 - 4 Attackers, 6 Missilers, 1 Carriers.
Commander: 2 in Vasa
Boss Unit: 2 in
Objective: Destory all enemy units.
This mission is kinda hard, since you're out classes and out numbered.
So what you might wanna do is to deploy all your Wanzers to take
cover for Roid and Yang while they do the killing, which are MY main
pilots. Watch out for the commanders, they're in some deadly Wanzers
if you aren't careful... But doesn't matter how hard these missions
are, I beat it with Roid, Yang, Hans, and Gregorio (and of course
Peewee). After this mission you're at a new city, Peseta.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Peseta City
Preferred Mech:
Body: Vasa
R/L Arm: Zikade
Legs: Zikade
Computer: Quo
Backpack: Cervus
Weapons: Artassaut and Leo Stan, Piz and WS-14
Fighter Mech:
Body: Vasa
R/L Arm: Zikade
Legs: Zikade
Computer: Quo
Backpack: Cervus
Weapons: Double F-4 Hand I, Piz and WS-14.
Ok... Just to let you guyz and girls know, I'll be using only Roid
and Yang from now on, so the preferred Mechs are specifically
designed for MY Roid and Yang, with Roid as the one with guns, and
Yang the fighter. After you're done upgrading, go to the Military
Office for your next assignment. After, you'll see two Wanzers
fighting, say yes when you get to answer, then stop their fight by
beating one of them. They will then join you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission #12 - Railroad
Enemy Units: 10 - 4 Attackers, 6 Missilers.
Commander: 1
Boss Unit: None
Objective: Block the railroad so that the train cannot escape.
I think there are two cargo you can get from the train, the first
is on the first cargo hole in the first car in the north. The second
one is in the first cargo hole on the middle cargo car.
more to come...

/5) Important Info\
----------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------
5.1) Level/Exp.
---------------
This part is kinda hard to understand. I'll try to expain as well as
I can.
Experience Points:
==================
You can get more experience points in battle. How much experience
points you get depends on a few thing, Who you're fighting, where
you're fighting, and where do you hit the enemy. If you hit an enemy
and destory one of his/her Mech's arm/leg/body/etc., you get more exp.
point. If all you do was attack and damaged an enemy, you won't get as
much.
How do you know what kind of experience points you gain?
Depends on what you're hitting with, you will get that kind of exp.
points. There are four different catergories they are:
Fighting - How good he/she is at fighting.
Short - How good he/she is at short range attack.
(Using Guns)
Long - How good he/she is at long range attack.
(Using Missiles)
Agility - How good he/she is at not getting hit.
For example: If you attacked the enemy with a gun, then you get short
experience points.
If you attacked the enemy with a punch, then you get
fighting exp. points.
Bonus EXP:
==========
You get bonus exp everytime you level up. Here are the numbers:
Roid:
Level Bonus
---------------------

Gregorio:

Pewee:
Level Bonus
-------------------------
2-10 +12, 16, 12, 16
Level:
======
You level up when you get a certain amount of experience points. For
example, you level up to level when you get more than 500 exp. points
(all together).
Roid got these stats: (he's special trained)
Level 16
Fight 238
Short 2607
Long 965
Agility 798
Total 4608
Level 24
Fight 398
Short 4685
Long 2706
Agility 1181
Total 8970
-----------
5.2) Skills
-----------
These are the special skills that Pilots can learn. All the skills
have 3-4 different levels, from 1-3, then Last. Of course Last is
the best, but it is also hard to get. I think the level of skills
you get depends on the "State" of your character rather than the
experience points since getting 9999 exp. is not that hard to
accomplish. The higher the state level, the more and better skills
you can learn. But this is not proven yet, so I need to test it
out myself or need some people with knowledge of this to email me
about it.
Short:
Duel Chooses where you want to attack the enemy (body/ R L
arm/ Legs)
Speed Inflicts a lot more damage when you're using Mechine
Gun (ex. 4x7, 6x11)
Switch Switches to the next gun your Mech has and attack with
it. This means that you can double the damage.
Fight:
First Lets you attack first (since Fighting Mechs always
attack second).
Double Attack again with the other arm on the same turn. This
can only happen if both arms are punches. Notes:
Sometimes your Mech can attack up to 6 times using this
skill! But it's up to your Mech to deceides how many
time it attacks. The higher the level, the more likely
to attack more times.
Stun Stun the enemy so that they can't attack you back.
Long:
Guide Choses which part of the enemy's Wanzer you want to attack.
(Most likely I choses No duel because if you choses a part,
usually only 1 missile will gonna hit.)
more to come...
----------
5.3) Menus
----------
There are a lot of different menus to give your Mechs action I'll list
them all here.
When you're at a city
Shop This is where you buy new things
Military Office You only have this in the first half of the game.
Anyway, whenever you're ready for next mission, go
there.
Bar No real purpose, you just go to know more things.
Sometimes there are special things you can do here.
Colosseum This is where you get money in case you run out.
I spend a lot of time in here. P.S. Don't wait
until you have less than 1000 to go there because
you need money to bet. Hint: Save your game before
you go here because if you losses, you'll loss
money.
Status Window Check your Pilot and their Mech's stats here.
Set up Equip new items, and Mech's parts. I recommend goto
the Shop and setup your Mech because there, you get
to compare, see what you're actually buying, etc.
Save/Load No need to explain.
Exit Only come here if you are going on a mission or
going back to some old places.
--------------
5.4) Colosseum
--------------
You get to battle other Wanzers here for money. You only get money if
you win. The amount you get depends on the amount you bet.
