Update 1: Well not really an update, since I only posted it..
I still have quite a lot of work to do. That's it I guess.

2. Why making this Guide?
Well, I just started to play FE4 some months ago and I really
enjoyed it. When I saw that there was a pairing feature in it, I
got really excited and started to try different pairings.
There was no Guide specificaly based on the pairing so I thought
'Why not?' and I started to make this guide. It's my first guide
ever, so I hope you like it.
Don't criticise me on the Layout.. It's the first time and I'll
try to make it look better some day when I have an idea..
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. Information (Spoilers!!)
Fire Emblem 4: Geanology of the Holy War is a RPG/Strategy game
that never made it to the USA/Europe. It's a Japanese game and
it has not been fully translated yet. Some people are working on
it, but until then we have to play like it is. It is partially
been translated, but not fully yet.
It's a really good game with nice graphics, sounds, music and a VERY
great story line.
You take the role of Sigurd, a descendent of the mighty god Baldo,
who is trying to save Lady Edin and by this gets involved in a war
where there is a plot sceming to bring back the evil Loptous
Empire. In the first half you play the role of Sigurd and his
loyal friends who help him to get rid of the evil, and in the
second half of the game you play the role of Sigurd's son, Selis,
and his friends who try to liberate the country's who are being
controlled by the Emperor Alvis, the man who murdered Sigurd.
See the kids develop in true warriors and help them to achieve their
goal and get rid of the Loptous Empire and it's Lord.
(End of Spoilers)
Anyway, this was some information on the game if you hadn't
noticed it yet..

4. The Guide
In this game there are a total of 48 characters and each of them
has unique skills and stats. In the first half you get to play
the first 24, also called the 'First Generation' (FG) and in the
second half you play the other 24, also called the
'Second Generation' (SG).
The pairing you do in the FG has a lot of influence on the SG. If
you choose a wrong husband for someone in the FG you can get very
weak kids and they won't get strong. Also try to get everyone
who uses a Holy Weapon in the FG get paired up or you will lose
the weapon, which is really bad but you will probably do this
anyway. Keep in mind that some of the pairing are hard to make,
while others are very easy. The easy ones are also known as the
'Predestined Pairs'. However, not all Predestined Pairs are good
so you might want to get a person fall in love quikly or he or she
might fall in love with the wrong person. Also try different pairing.
One pairing you might find very good, while others are bad.
Try for yourself, this guide will only help you a bit when making
the pairings.
There maybe are some Spoilers in it, but they aren't spoilers that
remove the fun of the game.
Let's continue to the real Guide.
Description:
Name: Name of the woman
Kids: Information on the kids and the woman.
Pairing #1: Name of the person to be the husband.
Stats Growth: Information how the stats growth will be.
Skills: Which skills the kids get.
Items: Recommended items.
Easy to make?: Whether the pairing is easy to make or not.
Conclusion: A conclusion whether the pairing is bad or not.
Pairing #2: The second pairing, if any..
Ect..
Let's start the Guide:
Name: Edin
Kids: Lester, the Bow Knight, and Rana, the Priest. In order to
make Lester strong, you would need some who uses a bow as
their father. And Edin has no skills, so try to find someone
with a lot of Skills.
Pairing #1: Mideel
Stats Growth: Lester will get nice stats growth. He will has them
just like Mideel, only better. Rana will get average
stats and Strength gets a bit high for a Priest.
Both of them won't be likely to max out something.
Luck has the most chance though.
Skills: Both Lester and Rana will get Pursuit and Charge as their
skills. They don't have a class skill so that's the only
skills they get. Both of them are good skills for fighting
so Lester should have no trouble killing the enemy. Even
Rana can fight good thanks to these skills.
Items: Rana won't need anything than what she receives from Edin.
Lester will probably have the Hero Bow and that is what he
needs. They won't need anything else, except maybe a Killer
Bow or a Silver Bow for Lester as a back up. A strength ring
for Lester is recommended and so is a speed ring.
Easy to make?: VERY easy to make. This is one of the 'Predestined'
pairs, so you should have no trouble making this pair.
This one is also very recommended, because Lester
becomes so useful. You have to stick Rana to healing
only.
Conclusion: This is a very good pairing. Edin and Mideel will get
great childeren and it's also easy to make. Go with
this one if this is your first time playing, since both
kids will be good.
Pairing #2: Jamuka
Stats Growth: Lester will get high strength, and his luck will rise
good too. It has potential of maxing out. Speed and
defence are a bit above average and the rest rises
low or a bit average. Rana can get higher strength
than magic with Jamuka as her dad!! All her stats are
average or above, except for M.Def which gets low for
both childeren.
Skills: Lester and Rana will inherit Rapid Hit and Charge. These
are good skills to fight with, but Lester won't be able
to fight well without a Pursuit Ring. You won't let Rana
fight anyway so it's not really important.
Items: Rana wil inherit anything she needs from Edin and Lester
from Jamuka. Hero Bow cancels the effect of Rapid Hit, so
I would stick to Killer Bow in this case. Hero Bow can be
used if you want to make sure you will finish the enemy off.
Easy to make?: Also very easy to make, as this is one of the
'Predestined' pairs. However this one is a bit less
recommended as Mideel.
Conclusion: This one is not so recommended. You do get a strong
Lester, but without a Pursuit Ring, he won't finish
off his oponent. Only choose this one if you can
miss the Pursuit ring.
Pairing #3: Azel
Stats Growth: Magic, speed and luck will become pretty high. Defence
isn't bad either, since it grow average. Skill is also
average and strength grows below average. M.Def rises
very rare, but that's the only one. These stats growth
makes Ranna a pretty powerfull fighter and she can
equip El Fire after class change.
Skills: Both Lester and Rana will only get Pursuit. It enables them
to fight a bit, but it's just not enough to finish off an
oponenent.
Items: Rana will get all the staves from Edin, but Lester won't get
any weapon from Azel, so you should buy him a nice bow.
Easy to make?: This one is also easy to make and you should get no
trouble making this one. Also one of the 'Predestined'
pairs.
Conclusion: If you make this pairing.. Lester is doomed. This one is
not recommended, since Lester wil become a crappy unit.
You won't get Hero Bow and Lester will get only average
strength. Go with this one if you want a Rana that can
fight. She can do this pretty good with this one. You
will get a Rescue Wand with this one too.
Pairing #4: Claude
Stats Growth: Lester's stats growth.. SUCKS!! Lester will have LOW
strength. His skill is only average and so is his
defense. He does gain a bit of speed, but that's
about it. He does get high magic and magic defense,
but he can't use magic, so he doesn't need the magic.
The magic defense can come in handy though. He wil
get HIGH luck though. It can even max out. Rana's
stats are good for a priest. High magic, average
speed and magic defense and a very HIGH luck.
Other stats are average. She can become a very good
fighter with this one. I only wished she could use
a higher level of attack magic.
Skills: Both of the childeren gain.. NO SKILLS. This is really bad
for Lester, because now he really sucks. He'll never finish
off an enemy. Rana will be able to fight but not so good.
Items: Lester gains no weapons. He does gains the Valkyre Wand, but
he can't use it, so it's wasted. Rana wil gain everything
Edin had and can use it very good. Even if you gave Lester
a good bow, a Pursuit Ring, a strength ring and a speed ring
he wil still suck. And you will never get the Hero Bow.
If you want to make Rana fight, Wind is the best magic for
her, so she keeps her high evasion. Also give her a Pursuit
ring, so she can attack twice. If you keep her as a healer
you wil have a VERY good one.
Easy to make?: Nope, this one is very hard to make, and you only
have chapters 3, 4 and 5 to do it. Keep them close
at ALL cost and if you're lucky they will fall in
love.
Conclusion: A bad pairing for Lester, but a pretty good pairing for
Rana. She wil become a godly healer with this, like she
was meant to be but because of her lack of skills, she
won't be able to fight well. Same counts for Lester.
This one is ONLY recommend if you want to make Rana a
good healer (or a fighter).
Pairing #5: Deu
Stats Growth: The stats for Lester wil be.. Great, but almost
everyone's who inherits Deu's stats growth will be.
Lester wil have low magic defense, under average magic
and everything else is above average. Speed and luck
seem to get pretty high, so he wil have a pretty high
evasion. Rana's stats aren't so bad either. Except for
magic defense, everything is average or above. Luck
gets really high. Her defense wil probably becomes
much better than her magic defense.
Skills: Only Bargain gets inherited since both kids can't use Sun
Hit. Without a Pursuit ring, Lester wil suck, so give him
one if you can spare it. Rana won't become a fighter, but
with Bargain, she doesn't have to worry about her money
so much.
Items: You won't get the Hero Bow, so Lester WILL suck without the
Pursuit ring. Lester can't inherit any bow, so buy him a
Silver Bow as soon as possible. Rana gets all wands Edin had
so she is fine.
Easy to make?: This one is mediocre to make. It's pretty hard to
let them fall in love, but you have chapters 1-5 to
do it so it IS possible.
Conclusion: Not such a good pairing, because the childeren only get
Bargain as a skill. If you give Lester a Pursuit ring,
he ..can.. become a pretty good fighter, but he may not
finish off an enemy. Rana won't be a fighter without
Pursuit Ring either, but you wil probably use her for a
healer anyway. This one only helps the stats, and I mean
ONLY the stats. With other pairings you may not get the
stats so high, but at least they can be usefull with
skills so that they don't suck. Just pick one, a useless
character with high stats, or a very usefull character
with lower stats. The choice is simple ain't it? ^_^
Pairing #6: Lex
Stats Growth: Lester will have pretty good stats. His strength gets
pretty high and his defense can become very high thanks
to the Neir blood. Except for magic and magic defense
all stats rise average or above and luck gets also
pretty high, but this is normal for him. Rana wil have
a higher strength and defense than normal. Her strength
and defense can get higher than her magic
if it wasn't for her stats gain when you
class change her. Luck gets high too and other stats
are average.
Skills: Ambush and Elite gets inherited from Lex. Elite helps both
kids to level up quikly. Ambush wil allow both kids to attack
first when low on HP. Since these are the only skills they
get Lester and Rana wil only attack one time and can't
kill an enemy by them self.
Items: Lester can't inherit any bow, so buy him one. Rana gets
everything she needs from Edin. If you want to make any use
of Lester, give him a Pursuit ring, so he can become more
usefull. Without it, he almost can't fight.
Easy to make?: No, this one is rather hard to make, but also for this
one you have chapters 1-5 so you can get it
eventually.
Conclusion: Not such a good pairing. Both childeren can't fight well
without the aid of a Pursuit Ring. Lester gets good
stats but he can't fight good. Rana wil be pretty good,
because you don't have to worry about physical attack so
much, due to her high defense. This pairing is only good
if you want a Rana who can actually take an attack from
an enemy. A physical attack that is.
Pairing #7: Alec
Stats Growth: Lester gets nice stats growth with Alec as his father.
Except for Mag/M.Def everything will rise above average
with luck being the highest. Rana will have average
stats growth with also luck being the highest.
Skills: Pursuit and Awareness are inherited. Pursuit helps both
childeren to fight better and Awareness helps them to
protect themself against critical hits. This is more usefull
to Rana since one critical hit can easily kill her. The
children can fight in this pairing. Not so good but at
least they can.
Items: Again, Lester can't inherit any bow and become less useful
without a Hero Bow. Buy him a Silver Bow and he can become
a bit usefull but he will probably won't finish off an
enemy. Rana can fight a bit too, but you shouldn't let her
fight in this pairing.
Easy to make?: Not easy, but you have chapters 1-5 to do it so it's
possible. Keep them together all the time and
eventually it will happen.
Conclusion: Not such a bad pairing but not a very good one either.
Lester and Rana can't fight as well like Mideel as their
father but they can do it a bit. Their stats are pretty
good, to make up to it.
Pairing #8: Finn
Stats Growth: Lester gains very good stats growth.. really.. Except
for Mag/M.Def everything rises above average and luck
will max out. Skill gets high too. Rana also has
everything above average except for M.Def. Her luck
can max out too and it most likely wil do.
Skills: Pursuit and Prayer gets inherited. Pursuit is great for
Lester and Prayer is great for Rana. Lester can fight, but
not so good. With Prayer Rana can avoid attacks better when
she's low on HP. It's risky to let her walk around with such
a low HP but it's better than nothing. It took me 8 turns to
finally kill off the Priest unit of the 12 Barons in the
last chapter with Shannan. (I almost threw something to the
screen because I missed that !@#$% so much) She only had
1 HP left (BAD SETY!!) so she was almost impossible to hit.
I could almost hug Shannan for finally hitting her.
Items: Lester can't inherit any bow, so buy him a Silver Bow. Rana
is fine, provided that Edin had good staves of cource.
Easy to make?: Not so easy to make but it can be done. Keep them
together in chapters 1, 2 and 3 and eventually they
will fall in love (with me they did).
Conclusion: This one is pretty good actually. The Skills come in
handy and the stats growth wil be great too. Luck wil
max out, so the kids can evade MUCH better. When Prayer
gets activated they wil be almost untouchable (which is
really great for Rana). They only problem is that
Lester won't be such a great fighter, due to the fact
he only has the Pursuit skill.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: Ayra
Kids: Lakche and Skasaha, both of them are Swordfighters. You should
find someone which can use swords for Ayra, preferably someone
with usefull skills (Not that Ayra hasn't got usefull skills).
Someone with high speed and skill is recommended, since these
are the stats that are pretty important to Lakche and Skasaha.
Pairing #1: Holin
Stats Growth: HP will get VERY high (probably 70+), skill will max
out and speed will get high too. The rest rises average
or above, except for magic and magic defence. These
will stay low so don't let them fight with mages.
Against anything else they will be very good.
Skills: Lakche and Skasaha will get Moonlight Hit, Star Hit and
Awareness from Ayra and Holin. Pursuit is a class skill
for Swordfighters, so they have that one too. And to make
it complete, Lakche also gets Rapit Hit after her class
change. Talk about multi-hitting.
Items: Since both of the kids will have full Odo blood they can
equip any sword. Lakche doesn't need everything else except
for Ayra's Hero Sword, but a Skill ring would be nice.
Skasaha will get good swords from his father, and that's
all he needs. You can give the Hero Sword to Skasaha after
Lakche's Class change, because than he needs it more than her.
A SilverXL is recommended for Skasaha too.
Easy to make?: Yup, this is also one of the 'Predestined' pairs so
it's very easy to make this one. Let them talk in
Chapter 3 and let them stay together all the time
and they will fall in love very soon.
Conclusion: An EXCELLENT pairing. Both childeren will get extremely
useful and will be able to kill an enemy army by
them self. Watch out for Magic though, because it can
kill them if it hits them. To bad Star Hit and Moonlight
Hit cannot be activated at the same time.
Pairing #2: Lex
Stats Growth: Skill and defence can get very high. Strength is also
very good. Other stats grow average or above and
again, magic and magic defence will stay low. They
get considerely slower, though, but the defence makes
up for it.
Skills: The kids will get Star Hit, Awareness, Ambush and Elite.
They also get Pursuit of their class and Lakche Rapid
Hit after class change. Elite will help them rise levels
smoothly and with Star Hit and Ambush they can kill an
enemy, before it can even hit them! Awarenes protects
them against critical hits. Pursuit is good enough in
case Star Hit doesn't activates and Lakche has Rapid Hit
to finish off an enemy.
Items: Everything Lakche gets from Ayra is good. Skasaha can't
inherit any weapon from Lex though, so you should buy him
a nice, strong sword and a speed ring can help them both.
Easy to make?: This one is fairly easy to make, since Lex already
has a crush on Ayra. Just let them stay together and
have them talk in Chapter 3, and you'll be just fine.
And again.. This is a 'Predestined' pair.
Conclusion: A very good pairing indeed. This is one pairing that you
can really enjoy, because the childeren get very great.
If you don't care about Skasaha's initial lack of weapons
and the sacrifice in speed, then this one is very
recommended.
Pairing #3: Noicht
Stats Growth: Strength, skill and defence get very high and speed
isn't bad either. The other stats are average or above,
except for (you guessed it..) Magic and Magic Defence.
Skills: Hmmm.. Critical AND Star Hit.. That's a Mega-Overkill!!
They both activate under the same circumstances, so they
should activate at the same time. Charge is nice to really
finish off the enemy. This way Lakche becomes a REAL
multi-hitter. Skasaha too, if he has a Hero Sword. This
is a great combination of skills.
Items: Because Noicht can only equip swords up to level B, you should
give Skasaha a strong sword. Lakche will be just fine. Give
the Hero Sword to Skasaha after Lakche's class change since
than he benefits more from it than Lakche.
Easy to make?: This one it not so easy to make, so you should stick
them ALWAYS together, so you're assured of letting
them fall in love. You have chapters 1-5 to do it
so it IS possible.
Conclusion: The Skills are great and the stats aren't crappy either.
Give Skasaha a nice weapon and he should be fine. Hero
Sword is recommended for him. Ayra should stick to a
Silver Sword after class change so she can hit harder.
A SilverXL is recommended for Skasaha.
Pairing #4: Deu
Stats Growth: The stats will become.. GREAT!! Skasaha can get better
stats than Lakche, but that doesn't matter. Everything
except for magic and magic Defence will be good above
the average. This will make the stats for both
childeren great!!
Skills: Bargain will get them out of money problems, and Sunlight
Hit will able them to fill their HP without help of a
Priest. Lakche and Skasaha are very powerfull with these
skills. To bad Sunlight Hit and Star Hit can't be activated
at the same time.. :(
Items: If you gave Deu a good sword(s) after his class change,
Skasaha should be fine. Lakche will inherit everything she
need from Ayra and shouldn't need anything else. Hero Sword
is recommended for Skasaha. Both can be great with a
Silver or SilverXL Sword.
Easy to make?: It's pretty hard to make, so you schould have some
patience when making this one. The results will
be great though so it's worth the waiting.
Conclusion: A very good pairing indeed. With great stats and good
skills, Lakche and Skasaha will be very powerfull and
can easily eliminate an army for you. Keep them out of
the way from Mages since these can easily kill them.
If you give them good swords they will be two of your
main attackers.
Pairing #5: Finn
Stats Growth: The stats become pretty great. Everything, except for
'you know what', rises just fine and skill will
probably max out (It almost always does.. ^_^). So
the stats are pretty great. Luck can get pretty good
too and so does speed, so expect them to have a
pretty high evasion.
Skills: Finn's Pursuit is wasted, since Lakche and Skasaha already
have it, but they do get Prayer, which makes them almost
untouchable. They can even compete with Shannan or users of
the Holsety, for the most time being NOT hit. Star Hit makes
them attack five times and Awareness protects them
against the nasty critical attacks. So good skills indeed..
Items: Lakche will be just fine, but Skasaha can't inherit any weapon
from Finn. Just give him a nice sword and that problem
is out of the way too. A Silver Claymore is recommended.
Once Lakche has been class changed, you might want to give
Ayra's Hero Sword to Skasaha so that he can attack more
often. Give Ayra a Silver Sword as the replacement of the
Hero Sword.
Easy to make?: This one is pretty hard to make, and you only have
Chapter 1, 2 and 3 to do it. The results are pretty
good though, so have patience.
Conclusion: Also a pretty good pairing. The childeren have nice stats
and Prayer can come in handy too. The only problem
is, is that Finn can't give Skasaha any sword. In this
pairing Skasaha has an initial lack of weapons again,
but the good stats and skills make up for that.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: Lachesis
Kids: Lachesis' kids are Nanna, the Troubadour and Delmudd, the Free
Knight. Since both of them are Knights, they should have a
Knight as a father, with good skills. Lachesis only has
Charisma as her personal skill so find someone with a lot
of useful skills.
Pairing #1: Beowulf
Stats Growth: Both Nanna and Delmudd wil get high strength. Except
for Magic and Magic Defence, everything else rises
average, or above/below. Strength has a chance to max
out, but that's about it. Don't expect to much from
the other stats in this pairing since they won't
get so high. This is partially due to Lachesis'
crappy stats growth.
Skills: Talk about a nice set of skills.. Pursuit, Charge and
Charisma get inherited by the kids, and Delmudd gets Rapid
Hit after his class change. Delmudd can be a pretty good
multi-hitter too if his stats are fine. He can even
compete to Lakche, Skasaha and Shannan for most times
having hit an enemy. Charisma helps both kids to give a
hit/dodge boost to their allies that are among them.
Items: Well, everything they need wil probably get passed down
and if you gave Beowulf and Lachesis good items, they won't
need anything else, however, if you can spare one, give
Delmudd a Speed ring, so he can evade the attacks better.
Nanna should inherit a good wand and the Earth Sword of
Lachesis. This way she can become a pretty good healer with
the possibility of healing herself too.
Easy to make?: This one is easy to make, since it's a 'Predestined'
pair. You shouldn't have any trouble making this one.
Conclusion: A terrific good pairing. The kids have nice skills and
they don't have crappy stats. At least not to crappy.
Some people say that Delmudd shouldn't be on
the front line, but I think he sure can, especially
with the skills he gains with this one. If he only gained
some better stats. Nanna is the same with pretty weak
stats and some usefull skills. Keep Nanna as a
supportive unit in this pairing.
Pairing #2: Finn
Stats Growth: Nice.. very nice indeed. Except for magic and magic
Defense, evrything rises above average with Delmudd.
He gets pretty high strength, skill and luck. Nanna
only gains average stats growth. Only strength and
luck will be pretty high. This pairing makes both
of them a pretty good fighter, with Delmudd being
a little better.
Skills: Pursuit, Prayer and Charisma get inherited. Delmudd gains
Rapid Hit after class change, so he can fight better.
Thanks to Prayer they can evade much better and you don't
have to be worried that they might die. However, it's
dangerous to get Prayer activated, since you must have their
HP at a very low level. If you can take the risk, you should
be fine.
Items: Nanna should get a healing staff and the Earth Sword. Those
two you must REALLY give her. Now she can heal others and
herself. Give her a good sword also, so she can kick some
enemy butt. Delmudd can't inherit any weapon from Finn so
you should buy him a Silver Sword as SOON AS POSSIBLE. A
Hero Sword is recommended too.
Easy to make?: No.. This is a very hard pairing to make. You can only
have Finn and Lachesis together in chapters 2 and 3.
Keep them together as soon as you can, and just hope
that they will fall in love. Don't let Deu talk to
Lachesis in this chapter, or she might fall in love
with him. Also don't let Beowulf get close.
Conclusion: A very good pairing with a strong Delmudd. It's very
hard to make, but the results are magnificent. With this
one you can actually put him on the front line.
Nanna will be weaker, so keep an eye on her if you send
he out to fight. This one would be the best one if you
want to make Finn a father, since in this one the kids
benefits most from Finn being their father.
Pairing #3: Alec
Stats Growth: Delmudd has.. Great stats!! Everything except for
Mag/M.Def rises above average!! Strength, skill and
luck are most noteworthy. Delmudd can kick ass with
these stats!! Nanna wil not be as good as Delmudd,
but that's because she inherits Lachesis' crappy stats
growth. She can become quit good with Alec as her
father, but she won't become a front line fighter.
Skills: Pursuit, Awareness and Charisma gets inherited. Delmudd
gains Rapid Hit after class change. Both of them can fight
well with these skills, since they can't be hit by critical
hits. Delmudd will be a better fighter as Nanna because of
Rapid Hit, but he almost always does.. so that doesn't
matter.
Items: Alec can only use swords up to level B, so you should give
Delmudd a Silver Sword as soon as possible. Once Selis has
a better sword, give Delmudd the Silver Sword of Sigurd.
Delmudd makes better use of it than Selis. Nanna should be
fine, provided that she gains the Earth Sword and a healing
staff. If she has good stats, give her a strong sword too,
a Hero Sword would be nice, but you would gave it to
somebody who could kick ass with it (Lakche!!), so she
would probably stay a supportive unit.
Easy to make?: This one is mediocre to make. It's not as hard
as Lachesis/Finn, but is harder to make than
Lachesis/Beowulf. Just keep them together and
they will fall in love eventually.
Conclusion: A very good pairing indeed. You get a pretty strong
Delmudd and Nanna isn't to bad either. Give Delmudd a
strong sword so he can hit harder and Nanna should have
an healing wand and the Earth Sword. Keep Nanna as a
supportive unit. Delmudd can be send to the front line
but keep an eye on him though.
Pairing #4: Noish
Stats Growth: Delmudd becomes a real frontline fighter!! He has high
strength, with a possibility of maxing out, high
defense and his speed isn't to shabby either. With
the exception of Mag/M.Def everything else rises
average. Nanna also gets high strength and also above
average defense. This way she can actually take a hit.
Other stats are average with luck being the highest.
Skills: Both kids gain Charge, Critical and Charisma (C,C and C ^.^')
as their personal skills. Delmudd gets Rapid Hit after class
change too. These skills enables both childeren to attack
more than once but it doesn't activates often.
Items: Noish can give Delmudd any sword up to level B. If you want
better swords buy one for Delmudd. Nanna should be fine,
provided that you have Lachesis a sword and a rod. Other
weapons can't be inherited. To make Nanna useful you could
give her a Hero Sword. If she also has the Earth Sword she
can be a nice fighter that can heal herself up when needed.
Give Delmudd the Pursuit Ring to make him a better fighter.
Easy to make?: This one is just like Alec. Mediocre to make. It's
hard to get them together but you have Chapters 2-5
to do it, so there's a fair chance it will happen.
Conclusion: This pairing give both kids good stats. The skills aren't
to great however, so you should give Delmudd a Pursuit
Ring to let him be a pretty good multi-hitter. Nanna
can become a fighter too, but not as good as Delmudd.
You might want her to be a supportive unit. In this case
be sure to give her a Relive Wand.
Pairing #5: Lex
Stats Growth: High strength and defense for both of the kids! Both
stats go up the roof! This way they can attack hard
and take a hit. With the exception of Luck every other
stats are average or below. Mag/M.Def are low. HP also
gets fairly high. This pairing slows them down though.
Skills: Ambush, Elite and Charisma get inherited. Delmudd gets Rapid
Hit after class change. Ambush works rather good in this
pairing. They can hit the enemy hard before it hits them.
With Elite they level up fast which is nice. Charisma help
their allies.
Items: Delmudd can't inherit any axe that Lex had. Give Delmudd a
Hero Sword AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. This enables him to attack
twice and this benefits his high strength. A Silver Sword
is recommended too. Nanna should be fine with the Earth Sword
and a rod. Give her a nice sword too. Silver Sword is
recommended.
Easy to make?: Mediocre to make. Again you have Chapters 2-5 to make
it so it sure is possible. Keep them together
ALL chapters and you're sure they get together. Don't
let any character talk to Lachesis unless you get
something good from it (Thief Sword, Deu).
Conclusion: A pairing which gives high strength/defense. This one
makes Delmudd much better than Hannibal to guard the
castle. A Pursuit Ring and Hero Sword are HIGHLY
recommended for Delmudd. After class change give the
Hero Sword to Skasaha or Nanna.
Pairing #6: Adan
Stats Growth: Delmudd becomes a TANK! His strenth goes up the roof
and his defense becomes high too! He will be a very
strong unit. Speed is average and so is luck. Magic and
M.Def are low. Skill grows very slow but thanks to the
+9 bonus for skill after class change, this will be
pretty high too. So a really strong Delmudd! Nanna
doesn't get so strong. Her Strength gets high and her
defense to some extent too, but that's about it.
Speed is only average and other stats are below average
with Luck being the highest.
Skills: Ambush and Charisma get inherited. Charisma helps your army
get a +10% to hit/dodge and Ambush enables both children to
attack first when low on HP. This benefits their high strength
since they can hit hard before the enemy has even touched
them. Delmudd gets Rapid Hit after class change so he can
attack at least twice in a battle if it activates.
Items: A Pursuit Ring is A MUST HAVE for Delmudd. He becomes a real
strong fighter with it after class change. A Skill ring comes
in handy for Nanna and so does a Magic ring. Nanna shouldn't
be fighting to much, since she isn't so strong. Keep her as
a healer when your priest can't do it.
Easy to make?: Not really, but you have chapters 2-5 to do it so it's
possible. Keep them together every round and it should
happen eventually.
Conclusion: A great pairing for Delmudd. He becomes a Tank and he
can be easily put on the front line to fight. Nanna can't
however. You should let her heal instead of fighting.
Basically a great pairing for Delmudd if you give him the
Pursuit ring. I feel sorry for Lachesis though to actually
have children with.. Adan.. YUK!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: Sylvia
Kids: Sylvia gives birth to Lynn, the dancer, and Corple, the Priest,
both being supportive units. To make Corple good he should have
a Priest-unit as his father. Sylvia only has Rapit Hit and
Prayer as skills so someone with usefull skills are
recommended too.
Pairing #1: Claude
Stats Growth: Both of the kids gain high Mag, M.Def and luck. The
magic helps Corple to heal good and he can take hits
from mages too. With the high luck he has a better
evade, which is important for him. Lynn gets overall
the same stats as Corple with Lynn possible having
a small bit of M.Def more than him. Great stats for
Corple and Lynn, both being able to kill of mages.
Skills: Rapit Hit and Prayer get inherited. Rapid Hit enables both
to attack twice and Prayer helps them to evade much better.
I like the Prayer for Corple (which he always gets) so that
when he is in danger he can evade much better and easily get
healed by another character. Lynn gets Dance as her class
skill and thats what she should use.
Items: Corple gets every wand that Claude had which also includes
the Valkyre Wand. This helps you to revive the dead people
in the second generation. Lynn should get all Items from
Sylvia and you REALLY should let her have the Knight Ring
and the Leg Ring. This makes her SO MUCH more usefull. She
can walk further and she can withdraw after the dance.
These two items are a must have for her.
Easy to make?: Very easy to make. They have a talk event and if you
keep them together in Chapters 3-5 they should fall
in love very easily. This one is a 'Predestined'
pair.
Conclusion: Very useful for Corple. He will be the best Priest in
the second half of the game after you pump him up,
because he starts at level 1 very late in the game.
Level him up and when he class changes, he IS the best
Priest in the second half. Lynn becomes a dancer that
can take magical attacks. She has potentional of
becoming a mage-killer. She can be good with the Wind
Sword because of her pretty high Magic. So a good
pairing indeed.
Pairing #2: Alec
Stats Growth: Corple gains weak stats growth for a Priest. He gets
high Luck and his HP is noteworthy too. He gains
average stats everywhere else with skill being the
highest. Thanks to the Blaggi blood he still has
average Mag/M.Def. Lynn gets more Mag/M.Def than
Corple but he gets a big boost after class change.
Her stats are average too and luck will probably
be the highest.
Skills: Pursuit, Awareness, Rapid Hit and Prayer are inherited. A
good set of skills. Pursuit and Rapit Hit allow them to
attack up to 4 times! Awareness protects them against
critical hits, which is VERY useful for boh of them. Prayer
helps both of them too. It helps them to evade much better
when in danger. They can stand a chance against some
enemies with these set of skills. Lynn also has the Dance
skill.
Items: Corple inherits nothing so you should buy him some good rods
and maybe the Wind Spell after class change. Lynn should be
fine with a Magic Sword. The Knight Ring and the Leg ring
are a MUST HAVE!!
Easy to make?: Yes, it's very easy to make. Even easier than Sylvia
with Claude. It's a 'Predestined' Pair and they also
have a talk event so there's a HIGH chance of them
becoming a couple.
Conclusion: Most people don't give this pairing much credit, but
it's not so bad. Good stats overall and Corple still
is a good healer thanks to the magic boost of the Blaggi
blood. Both of the children's stats are only average
though, but it's better than nothing. Keep Corple
as a healer and Lynn as a dancer and they can make
themself useful.
Pairing #3: Azel
Stats Growth: High magic, speed and luck for Corple. His M.Def isn't
so low too. Other are average or below. Lynn gets high
Magic and Luck. M.Def is pretty high too. Other stats
are average or below with speed being the highest.
These stats aren't to shabby and Corple has high
magic because of the mixed Blaggi and Fala blood.
Lynn has abnormal high Magic so she can be good with
Magic Swords.
Skills: Pursuit, Rapid Hit and Prayer get inherited. Lynn has Dance
too. Pursuit and Rapid Hit helps them to attack up to 4
times which is good for Lynn and Corple of you plan to make
him fight. Prayer helps them to evade attack better when
low on HP. Pretty good skills but not that great.
Items: Corple can't inherit any magic that Azel has. You must give
him some good rods so that he can be a good healer. After
class change you should five him El Fire so he can dish out
some damage too. Lynn should have a Fire Sword and like
always she must have the Knight Ring and the Leg Ring so her
Dance skill will be much more useful.
Easy to make?: This one is Mediocre to make. You have Chapters 2-5
to do it so it's possible. Keep them together all
the time and it should happen eventually.
Conclusion: A unusual pairing ^.^' I tried this one for fun and it
ended pretty good actually. If you have Claude and
Tiltyu already paired up, you should go with this one.
Both kids have good Magic so Corple can hit hard with
El Fire and Lynn with the Fire Sword. They can attack
multiple times, so can easily finish off an enemy with
low M.Def. You should try this one at least once.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: Fury
Kids: Fury gets Sety, the Sage, and Fee, the Pegasus Knight, as her
children. With only Pursuit as a personal skill, you should
have someone with good skills. Sety will be the best mage in
the game, so pick a good father for him! Fee can either get
a good mage killer or a good fighter (Not to much though).
It's up to you. Sety becomes good, even if his father isn't
a Mage. Both kids get Rapid Hit after class change.
Pairing #1: Levin
Stats Growth: Sety is a GOD! Speed wil max out and skill and magic
will get pretty high too. Other stats are average or
below. Fee also gets high speed with a very small
chance of maxing out (it did once with me though..).
Other stats are only average or below with defense and
skill being the highest among those. So both can evade
good.
Skills: Pursuit, Rapid Hit and Critical get inherited. Rapid Hit is
wasted for Sety since he gets that after class change. These
skills enable them to fight very well and they can easily
finish off an enemy, so good skills.
Items: Sety gets every spell and rod that Levin has so he should
be okay. He also gets Holsety if you got it (which you should
have). He can easily massacre an entire army wihout getting
hit and he can also take on Ishtar. Fee should get some good
swords and spears from her mother up to level B. Hero Spear
and Wind Sword are recommended since these can be very
valuable to Fee. She can kill mages with the Hero Spear and
she can kill armors with the Wind Sword from a distance.
A strength ring can also come in handy for Fee to cover up
her low strength.
Easy to make?: Yes, this one is a 'Predestined' pair so it's very
easy to make. Sylvia also makes a good chance, so
have them fall in love early so that Levin doesn't
fall in love with Sylvia instead.
Conclusion: A EXTREMELY good pairing. Sety will be unstoppable..
except against Yurius of course.. With maxed out speed
and the +20 bonus of the Holsety he will have the
highest evade in de second half of the game. Fee also
has high speed but other stats are only average. She
doesn't get so great but she is great as a Mage Killer
because of her mediocre magic defense though.
Pairing #2: Claude
Stats Growth: Sety will be a great Mage. He will have high magic,
speed, M.Def and luck! Luck gets really high. He will
be a terrific good mage/healer. Fee gets high speed
and luck too. Her magic and M.Def are pretty good too.
Other stats are average. So good stats indeed.
Skills: Only Pursuit gets inherited and both kids gains Rapid Hit
after class change. They can fight good and can also finish
off an enemy too. Not the greatest set of skills, but it's
enough.
Items: Sety will get any Magic and Wand that Claude had and he also
gets the Valkyre Wand so he will be the Healing God of your
army. Fee also gets every Sword and Spear up to level B from
Fury. She should get the Hero Spear and the Wind Sword. She
can be good with these two. After class change a Silver Spear
for Fee is recommended but not needed.
Easy to make?: This one is not so easy to make and you only have
Chapters 3-5 to do it. Keep them together at ALL cost
and you should have a fair chance of getting this
pairing.
Conclusion: Also a very good pairing. Sety will stil be a GOD and
Fee is fairly good too. Sety can equip any rod and any
magic up to level B. His initial Lightning is good, but
you should give him also a level B magic too. El Wind
is recommended. This pairing makes both kids useful and
you'll have a Sety that can heal and fight extremely
well.
Pairing #3: Finn
Stats Growth: Sety doesn't have very great stats growth for a mage.
Low magic and M.Def. Other stats are very good though.
Abnormal strength and defense for Sety and other stats
get high too. Luck becomes one of the highest. Fee
also gets some good stats. High speed, defense and
luck. Skill is pretty high too and her strength too.
Magic and M.Def are low though. This pairing makes Fee
more better than it does with Sety. Sety doesn't lack
that much in Magic because of the huge boost of
the Sage class.
Skills: Finn's Pursuit is wasted since Fury already has it. Prayer
does get inherited, but both kids can't rely on it to much.
Fee gets killed easy (harder with this pairing) and Sety
can't take attacks very great either. They probably get
killed before Prayer starts working. Both children gain
Rapid Hit after class change so that they can fight
a bit better.
Items: Sety can't inherit any spear from Finn so you must buy him
some spells and some wands next to his initial Lightning.
Most spells aren't to expensive so it shouldn't be to hard.
You should buy Sety the Relive Wand because that is best one
for him. Fee inherits any spear or sword up to level B from
Fury. Hero Spear and Wind Sword are the most recommended.
You should give Sety a Magic Ring too for his pretty low
magic.
Easy to make?: No, not really. They are hard to get together and
they are only together in chapters 2 and 3. Keep
them together ALL cost and it can happen. Keep
Levin FAR away from Fury. It can be done!
Conclusion: A good pairing for Fee. In this pairing she becomes
quite a fighter and she can take physical attacks much
better. Other stats are average. Her magic and M.Def are
lower in this pairing though so don't expect to deal
a lot of damage with a Magic Sword. She'll be much
better with the Hero Spear or a Silver Spear. Sety
becomes much weaker in this pairing in magic wise, but
he NEVER becomes useless no matter what father you choose
for him. With his Lightning he can stil kick some enemy
butt ;)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: Bridget
Kids: Bridget gets Faval, the Bow Fighter, and Patty, the Thief.
Bridget doesn't have any personal skill, so you should have
someone with a lot of useful skills. Both children gain
Pursuit after class change, so you don't have to worry about
that one. Faval is the user of the Ichival and can be either
very powerfull or pretty weak. Choose the right father!
Remember that Faval gains Bridget's stats growth and
Patty those of her father!
Pairing #1: Jamuka
Stats Growth: Good stats growth for both children! Both of them
become quit hard hitters. Faval gets high strength and
probably a maxed luck! He becomes one of your best
units with the Ichival. Other stats are average. Magic
is below average and M.Def is low. Patty gains some
good stats too! She gets high HP for a thief and she
also gets high strength! Other stats are average or
above/below with M.Def being low and luck being very
high. Both children become good attackers.
Skills: Rapid Hit and Charge get inherited by Jamuka. Both children
also get Pursuit after class change. With these three skills
together you have people who can compete to Lakche, Skasaha
and Shannan for most hits. Faval also has the Live skill
if he has the Ichival equipped.
Items: Patty can't inherit any bow of Jamuka so she has to buy
herself a good sword. A SilverXL is recommended after class
change. Keep an eye on her though. Faval has enough on the
Ichival but you'll probably use it a lot so buy him a Silver
Bow or a Killer Bow when you can as a back up. Give Bridget
the Killer Bow in Chapter 5 before you finish the Chapter.
A Leg ring should come both children in handy since both of
them are walking units.
Easy to make?: It's easy alright. It's a 'Predestined' pair. Keep
them together all the time and it will come very
soon. It's not to hard so keep trying!
Conclusion: A very good pairing. This pairing makes both children
very useful and both become quite strong. Patty's initial
lack of weapons is a problem though. Give Jamuka a Warp
ring so that Patty can go to safety when she has given
Shannan the Balmunk. She is hard to level up so have
patience with her since she can become quit a strong
unit. Faval becomes really good and he kicks ass with
the Ichival! He will become one of the hardest hitters
of you army and he gains some of Jamuka's high strength
which benefits him great.
Pairing #2: Deu
Stats Growth: Both children gain Godly stats growth. Deu sure gives
them great stats. Patty has a low M.Def and below
average Magic. Other stats are ALL above average!!
Luck gets pretty high. She does gain less HP growth.
Faval also gets very good stats. Low M.Def and below
average Magic, above average in everything else except
for luck which will max out. Both children have some
what the same stats growth as Deu only better!
Skills: Sun Hit gets inherited by Patty only since Faval can't use
it. Both children gain Bargain though. This is very useful
for Faval since the Ichival is an expensive weapon to fix.
Both children gain Pursuit after class change. This is not
the best set of skills, but at least it's something. They
can't attack a lot, so don't send them to kill an enemy army
by them self.
Items: Faval should be fine if he inherits the Ichival and the
Killer Bow of Jamuka or a Silver Bow. Both are great for him.
Patty gains every sword up to level C from Deu, which isn't
great. She should get an Iron Sword and a Magic Sword too.
Again, a Leg ring helps them both!
Easy to make?: Not really. It's pretty hard to make and you only
have Chapters 3-5 to do it. Keep them together ALL
the time and it will probably happen. It isn't to
hard, just keep them together.
Conclusion: A pretty good pairing actually. Good stats growth and
Patty can inherit swords, only up to level C but it's
better than nothing I guess. The skills need something
to be desired since they only gain Pursuit and Patty
Sun Hit as Battle Skills. It's not a bad pairing, but
not a very good one either.
Pairing #3: Holin
Stats Growth: This pairing gives both children very good stats
actually. Both gain very high HP and pretty high
strength. Both also gain a very high luck and Faval
will probably max it out. Thanks to the Odo blood
both children also gain a very high skill. Patty will
most likely max it out and Faval has a fair chance of
maxing it out too. Other stats are average or below
with M.Def being very low and Mag being below average.
Skills: Only Moonlight Hit gets inherited which only can be used by
Patty. Faval only gains Pursuit after class change and that
is the only skill he gets apart from the Live skill which
comes with the Ichival. Patty also gets Pursuit after class
change. With Moonlight Hit she can become quit the Armor
Killer. Enough skills to fight, but it needs something to be
desired.
Items: Patty can use any sword up to level B from the beginning, so
give her a Hero Sword if you can and a Steel Sword too. After
class change a Silver or a SilverXL is very recommended.
Faval gets any bow from Bridget and it's recommended to give
him a Killer Bow. I think he initial gets a Steel Bow. If not
give him one or if you can spare one a Silver Bow.
Easy to make?: Not really. This one is rather hard to make and it
needs some patience. The results are pretty good
actually, so you might want to wait them to fall
in love. Keep Ayra away from Holin!
Conclusion: A very good pairing if Ayra is already taken en you
want some variation. Both children become quit the
fighters. Their lack of skills is a problem though.
If you don't send them alone to an enemy army, they
should be fine.
Pairing #4: Lex
Stats Growth: Oh my.. good stats for both children! Both get high
strenth and defense! The defense comes in real handy
for Patty, since she can actually take an hit with
high defense. Luck gets high too and magic and M.Def
becomes low. Other stats grow average. They have
good stats and Patty has potential of becoming better
than Deu!
Skills: Both children get Ambush and Elite, two good skills. Ambush
allows them to attack first when on low HP and this comes
in handy. Elite helps both of them, especially Patty, to
level up quiker. Both of them get Pursuit because of their
class. Pretty good skills but I've seen better ones.
Items: Faval should get anything he needs from Bridget. Patty can't
inherit anything from Lex, so she should buy a Silver or
SilverXL after class change so she can dish out some real
damage. Be sure to give Lex the Warp ring before you end
Chapter 5 so that Patty can return to the castle after she
gave Shannan the Balmunk.
Easy to make?: Not really. This isn't a 'predestined' pair and you
only have chapters 3-5 to do it. Keep them together
all cost so it should happen.
Conclusion: A pretty good pairing.. High Strenth and Defense makes
both children units to be watched out for. They rise
levels quikly and should soon become some of your
major attackers.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: Tiltyu
Kids: Tiltyu gets Arthur and Tinny, both being Mages. The best
husband for Tiltyu would be a Mage with useful skills.
Choose a good husband or you'll be sorry. Arthur and Tinny
depend heavily on their father for usefulness.
Pairing #1: Azel
Stats Growth: A very good pairing. Arthur gets pretty high magic,
high skill and a high speed too. Luck becomes higher
than average and other stats are below average with
defense being the highest. Tinny also get pretty high
magic and a high skill and speed. Luck also becomes
rather high. Other stats are below average. This
pairing make both children good fighters but their
Defense, both Physical and Magical, need something
to be desired.
Skills: Both children gain Pursuit and Wrath as their personal
skills, both being good skills. Tinny also gets Rapid Hit
after her class change. They can attack more than once and
that's probably enough to finish off an enemy. Wrath let
them do critical hits EVERY TIME their current HP becomes
beneath the half of the Max HP. It's risky to let them run
around with low HP but the enemies will be toasted when
it's you turn. :P
Items: Both children can inherit Fire and Thunder spells up to level
B and Wind up to level C from their parents. After class
change you should give one of them the Borganon and the other
the Tron spell. This makes them both very useful and
powerfull units. You could give them Defense boosting items
to cover up their low Def/M.Def.
Easy to make?: Very easy to make. They were childhood friends, so
they like each other already. They're a 'Predestined'
pair so it shouldn't be to hard. You're able to do
it in Chapters 3-5 but that should really be enough.
Conclusion: An Extremely good pairing. Both children become
powerfull Mages being able to use level A Fire and
Thunder Magic. They get excellent stats and skills to
some extent too. Don't let them fight against an army
because that will kill them most likely. So a good
pairing.
Pairing #2: Levin
Stats Growth: WOW!! O_O' HIGH Skill and Speed for both children!!
Both being able to max out with both children!! Magic
isn't to bad and luck gets gets pretty high,
especially for Tinny. HP gets nice too. Other stats
are below average though, but they won't get hit very
often! ^_^
Skills: Wrath, Rapid Hit and Critical get inherited. Some good
skills. Rapid Hit is wasted for Tinny since she gets it
after her class change. Wrath lets them launch critical
hits when they only have half HP. This is very risky, but
with this pairing they can launch critical hits also when
on full HP thanks to the Critical Skill!! Thanks to their
high Skill it gets activated pretty often too! The only
skill they really need is the Pursuit Skill.
Items: Arthur gets Holsety!! He can inherit any Wind spell, but
he has enough with Holsety. He can also inherit any thunder
spell up to level B and fire spell up to level C. Same for
Tinny except that she can only get any wind spell up to level
B. Arthur has enough with his Holsety, but an Level B fire
and thunder spell are nice for him. Tinny can equip both
Tornado and Tron after class change!! Give her Tornado and
she can kick ass! An Defense boosting item is nice for both
of them. Give one of them the Pursuit Ring!!
Easy to make?: Not really. They can be together only in Chapters
3-5 and it's rather hard to make. Keep them together
all cost and it should happen!
Conclusion: Also an Excellent pairing! Both children become very
useful and can hit very hard. The only drawback is
their low defense and the lack of the Pursuit Skill.
Give the Pursuit Ring to the one you like to fight
with. Other than that a pairing you will surely enjoy!
Pairing #3: Claude
Stats Growth: Very high skill and luck for both children. In this
pairing the kids also get pretty high magic and M.Def
especially with Arthur. This way they can hit harder.
M.Def becomes pretty high with this one which is not
the case in any other pairing.
Speed gets pretty high too and strength and defense
get pretty low. Very good stats for both children.
Skills: Only Wrath gets inherited by Tiltyu, since Claude has no
personal skills. Tinny gets Rapid Hit after class change.
These are the only skills they get which is pretty bad..
The only way they can fight good is with a Pursuit Ring and
since there is only one you have to choose between the kids.
Pick out your favorite!
Items: Tinny should get everything she needs from Tiltyu. Arthur is
an other case. He can't inherit any wand so all wands that
Claude had will be buyable in the shop later. The only wand
he gets is the Valkyre Wand, which is wasted since Arthur
can't use it. Give Claude some nice spells before you finish
Chapter 5 so that Arthur has something to attack with.
Pursuit Ring is a MUST!! Without this, both children become
sort of useless, with Tinny being a litte better thanks to
the Rapid Hit skill. Give it to the person you fight with to
make him/her a better fighter. Other than that they should be
fine. Give them a ring if you like to.
Easy to make?: Yes. This one is pretty easy to make since it's a
'Predestined' pair. They should fall in love easily,
even if you can only do it in Chapters 3-5. Keep
them together and it should happen eventually.. ^_^
Conclusion: A pretty good pairing actually. With a Pursuit Ring,
Arthur or Tinny can kick some enemy butt! They get some
nice stats and they should become pretty great mages.
If you decide to give Arthur the Pursuit Ring, give
Tinny a wand. This way she can finish an enemy left over
by other characters and heal when necassarily. In both
she is great. If you give Tinny the Pursuit Ring, she
becomes a very good fighter but Arthur becomes almost
useless. Choose whatever you like..
Pairing #4: Lex
Stats Growth: Pretty good. Avery stats except for Magic and Magic
Defense becomes average of above for both of them.
They gain a much lower magic in this pairing, but
this is covered up by a good strength and high defense.
Both children have high skill and they are pretty
speedy. Luck becomes pretty high for Tinny. Magic
is lowered but this can be covered up by a Magic Ring.
Both children become pretty good.
Skills: In this pairing the children gain the most deadly combo of
skills in this game. Ambush and Wrath! Both skills activate
under the same condition so they always work together.
Whenever their HP gets below the half of their Maximum HP
they will always be first and always launch a critical hit!
This Combo + Enemy army = Dead enemy army. Arthur and Tinny
can kill almost anyone! Elite gets inherited too, so expect
them to level up quikly. Tinny gets Rapid Hit after class
change so she can hit two times in a battle and this could
mean two critical hits!! So a VERY deadly combination of
skills. Give one of them the Pursuit Ring if you can spare
it.
Items: Tinny should be fine, but Arthur can't inherit any weapon
from Lex. Buy him some good magic and a nice sword could come
in handy too. A Magic ring is recommended since both have
a pretty low magic. A Pursuit ring can come in handy too, but
isn't needed for them since they have Ambush and Wrath.
Easy to make?: In my experience the pairing was quit easy to make.
I don't know if this is a 'Predestined' pair or not
and I can't remember if they had a talk event in
Chapter 5.
Conclusion: A Pairing that is extremely dependable. You can whipe out
entire army's with just Arthur or Tinny alone! This
pairing is one of the best you can make and MANY FE4
fans always make this pairing because it's so deadly.
Try it at least once and see for yourself!
Pairing #5: Mideel
Stats Growth: Not outstanding but not bad either. Magic and M.Def
are pretty low, but other stats are average or a little
below. Speed gets high and so does skill! Luck becomes
high for Tinny and only average for Arthur. Not
really great stats.
Skills: Pursuit, Charge and Wrath get inherited. This is a pretty
good combination of skills, since they can hit a lot and
launch critical hits when low on HP. Tinny gets Rapid Hit
after class change which enables her to become a pretty good
multi-hitter! She's be just like Jamuka or Beowulf, only
she is a Mage. Pretty good skills..
Items: Tinny should be fine, but Arthur can't inherit any weapon
from Mideel. He should buy some strong magic and a magic ring
can't hurt both of them. A nice sword is good for Arthur too,
since he gets average strength.
Easy to make?: Not really. This is a very unusual pairing and I don't
think many people have made this one. I made it just
for fun and dor this FAQ. It turned okay.
Conclusion: Unusual, but not bad! Good stats and skills for both
children and Tinny becomes a good multi-hitter! Don't
expect both children to max out anything and they shoudn't
be fighting strong enemies because they can easily take
them out. Keep an eye on them and they should be fine.
Pairing #6: Holin
Stats Growth: You can count on one thing.. and that's a maxed out
skill for both of them! Skill rises almost every level
and they should have it maxed out pretty soon. Other
stats are good too. Magic and M.Def are low and strength
and defense are only average and Tinny has them a
little below average. Good speed and Luck for both of
them and HP becomes VERY high, especially for Arthur.
Skills: Only Wrath gets inherited by Tiltyu. Tinny gets Rapid Hit
after class change so she ...can... hit more than once.
I don't know if Tinny gets Moonlight Hit after class change.
I'm not that far yet. Arthur surely doesn't get it, because
he's a mounted unit and they can't use them. Can some check
the Moonlight Hit case for me? Not a good set of skills.
Items: Arthur can't inherit any weapon from Holin. Tinny is fine, as
long as you gave Tiltyu some good magic. Buy some good magic
for Arthur since he NEEDS it. A Pursuit ring is a MUST if you
are planning to make them fight. A Magic ring might come
in handy too if their Magic is low.
Easy to make?: Not really, this is a pretty hard pairing to make and
you can only make it in Chapters 3-5. Keep them
together ALL time and you should get it.
Conclusion: A unusual pairing, which is pretty good. Arthur and Tinny
will almost never miss, but because of their lack of
skills, both childeren can't hit much. Give a Pursuit ring
to your favorite, since than he/she should be able to
fight a bit. I don't recommend this pairing.

5. Stats Growth Graph
Here is a list of the % of stats growth every character in the
first generation has. This can help you choose pairings because
you can see what kind of stats growth the kids will get.
All the boys get their father's stats growth and half of their
mothers, except for Leif and Faval. They get their mother's stats
growth and half of their father's. The girls get it the other way
around, so mother's stats growth and half father's stats growth,
except for Althena and Patty. They get their father's stats growth
and half of their mother's. Remember this when making pairings.
Also this graph gives the BASE stats growth.
Holy Blood also gives stats growth bonuses but that's in another
graph below the Base stats growth graph.
Here's the Graph with the Base stats growth:

*Diadora's stats growth sucks!! If it wasn't for her Narga/Loptous blood
she would even gain almost no Magic/Magic Defense!! She has the worst
base stats growth of all characters. Sylvia comes close though*
Here's the stats growth of the Holy Blood bonuses:
Holy Blood: - HP - STR - MAG - SKL - SPD - DEF - MDEF - LUC
Baldo - 20% - 10% - - 10% - - - - 10%
Narga - 10% - - 20% - - - - 20% -
Dain - 20% - - - - 30% - - -
Noba - 20% - 10% - - - 10% - 10% - -
Odo - 20% - - - 30% - - - -
Ulir - 20% - - - - - - - 30%
Neir - 20% - - - - - 30% - -
Fala - 20% - - 30% - - - - -
Tordo - 20% - - - 30% - - - -
Holsety - 20% - - - - 30% - - -
Blagi - 10% - - 10% - - - - 20% - 10%
Hezul - 20% - 30% - - - - - -
Loptous - 10% - - 20% - - - - 20% -
*When someone has Full Holy Blood the stats bonus gets doubled!!*
Let's make an example..
What if you want to pair Ayra with Lex?
Name: - HP - STR - MAG - SKL - SPD - DEF - MDEF - LUC
Ayra - 50% - 30% - 5% - 30% - 30% - 20% - 5% - 20%
Lex - 70% - 40% - 5% - 20% - 20% - 20% - 5% - 20%
Ayra gets Lakche and Skasaha. Lakche gets Ayra's stats growth and half of
Lex's and Skasaha gets Lex's stats growth and half of Ayra's so you'll
get this:
Name: - HP - STR - MAG - SKL - SPD - DEF - MDEF - LUC
Lakche - 85% - 50% - 7,5% - 40% - 40% - 30% - 7.5% - 30%
Skasaha - 95% - 55% - 7.5% - 35% - 35% - 30% - 7.5% - 30%
You think that was good?
Ayra has some Odo blood and Lex has some Neir blood. This pairing would
give both childeren some of both blood. The stats bonus for these are:
Holy Blood: - HP - STR - MAG - SKL - SPD - DEF - MDEF - LUC
Odo - 20% - - - 30% - - - -
Neir - 20% - - - - - 30% - -
Add these bonuses up and these are the final bonus they will get:
Holy Blood: - HP - STR - MAG - SKL - SPD - DEF - MDEF - LUC
Neir & Odo - 40% - - - 30% - - 30% - -
Add these bonus to the base stats results and you get this:
Name: - HP - STR - MAG - SKL - SPD - DEF - MDEF - LUC
Lakche - 125% - 50% - 7,5% - 70% - 40% - 60% - 7.5% - 30%
Skasaha - 135% - 55% - 7.5% - 65% - 35% - 60% - 7.5% - 30%
So both kids get high HP, Str, Skl and Def!
30% is average for every stats except HP (HP is 70-80%)* so except for
Magic and Magic Defense, everything rises average or above!!
*This is my own opinion about it. Don't know if it's true but to my
opinion 30% is average for every stat except HP which the average
is 70-80%. Don't yell at me for it being wrong okay? :P*
Now you can try to see what stats growth the kids gets with a certain
pairing. It's pretty easy to calculate it. And remember the stats growth
are stil random. Even if someone has 5% stats growth, there's stil a
chance it rises. It's small but it's possible.
