----0. General Comments

This file is best viewed using a fixed-width font.

If you're looking for the answer to a specific question, but don't
want to risk spoiling the rest of the game, check the ñFrequently
Asked Questionsî section first to see if it's there.

Spells and techniques are listed with the character who learns
them, in the order they appear in the character's status screen.
Some spells are only available during battle or on the map screen,
and they are only displayed in the magic window when they are
usable.

----I. Game Overview

---1. Story

Long ago, the world was ruled by two dragons, Digbadinon and
Razeth. All was peaceful until human science advanced to the point
where it started to interfere with nature. To try and stop the
advance, Digbadinon split the world in two: the surface world and
the underworld. However, the people of the underworld continued to
wreak havoc on nature.

---2. General Game Advice

--A. Screen commands
Menu screen commands (top to bottom):
Magic, Item, Equip, Status, Config, Compass*
*Compass is only available on some screens

Battle screen commands:
Party commands: Attack, Autobattle, Run
Character commands: Attack (weapon icon), Defend (fist icon),
Tech/Magic (no icon), Item

--B. Shop and building types
Shops:
Shops are marked with sign shaped like a sword and shield.
Item shops have a sign shaped like a pot.
Sometimes, multiple shops share a building. In this case, you buy
weapons from the counter with swords and bows behind it, armor
from the counter with a suit of armoer behind it, and items from
the counter with shelves full of jars.
How to shop:
Go to the counters and select the items and quantity you want to
buy. In the case of weapons and armor, characters that cannot
equip an item are shown facing away when the the item is selected.
When you're finished, talk to the man at the front counter to pay.

Church:
Churchs have stained glass windows as crosses on the roof. Here,
you can save your game or revive falled comrades. The price to
raise the dead is a percentage of your available gold, so if you
were planning on buying supplies, do it before you visit the
church.
Churches in the underworld will ask for a donation whenever you
use them. If you do donate, sometimes they'll give you something
good.

Pawn shop:
Pawn shops have a figure eight by the door. Here, you can sell
unwanted items.

Inn:
Inns have a brown sign by the door.

Hall of Records:
These have a diamond-shaped or round sign. You can change the name
of your party members here. You can change names as many times as
you like.

Casino:
These have a C inside a star. You can play games to win money
here.

Station:
These buildings only appear in underworld towns. They have a train
on their sign. Here you can ride the tracks between stations, if
you have a train car. See the Train section for an explanation of
this.

--C. How to fight:
When you enter the battle screen, press down on the keypad to
select a character. Select a character, then press left or right
to select what action to perform. If a target is required, select
it by moving the sword cursor to the target and pressing A. Once
you have all the characters' actions set, press up on the keypad
and select ñAttackî.

----. The Train

You can use the train tracks once you obtain the Train Car from an
engineer in Vicram. If you have the Train Car, it will
automatically be waiting for you on the trains when you enter a
train station. Otherwise, the tracks will be empty, and you won't
be able to do anything. To ride, walk onto the car and press the
directional button in the direction you want to go. To get off,
simply walk out. You will not be able to exit unless you are
actually at a station.

When you first get the Train Car, you aren't able to switch
tracks, and therefore will not be able to stop or change direction
until you reach a dead end or another station.

For a map of the destinations available when you first get the
Train Car, see the file:
http://www.tenkuukai.com/sfc/dualorb_trainmap_1.jpg
or perhaps check GameFAQs.
To read this map:
Each station is represented by a box. A station has one or two
possible exits, and they are represented by arrows from the
corresponding side of the box. When the route is a two-way route
(i.e. Travelling from station A will take you to station B, and
travelling from station B will take you back to A over the same
route. Vicram to Gyplos, for example), there are arrows on both
ends of the line. When a route is one-way (i.e. Travelling from A
takes you to B, but going back from B will take you to C. Vicram
to Minea, for example), there are only arrows on one end.

After you get the Remote Control from an engineer in Tisia, you
can change direction while moving. You can change direction
wherever there is an intersection with a receiver. Receivers are
circular objects on posts next to the tracks. They can be facing
either NE, NW, SE or SW. In order to be able to activate the
receiver and change tracks, you must be approaching from the right
direction. If a reciever is facing NE, for example, it can be
activated from either north or east. Other directions work the
same way. When you come to an intersection and are able to
activate the receiver, the car will stop, and arrows pointing in
the directions you can go will appear. Use the direction pad to
select a direction.

For a complete map of the tracks, see the file:
http://www.tenkuukai.com/sfc/dualorb_trainmap_2.jpg
or check GameFaqs.

----. FAQ

Q: Why can't I cross the bridge in Guizen?
A: You need the permission of the king in Pegasion to cross. Talk
to him and do the favor he asks.

Q: Why won't the guard let me into the Goblin Lair?
A: You can't go in alone. Go find another party member and try
again.

Q: Where do I go after getting the Fairy Key?
A: First go back to the Fairy Village and give the key to the old
woman in the house with three chests. Then, talk to the old woman
in the house in the NW corner. Then, go to the casino in Saint
Bacchus.

Q: Where is the Tower of Sorrow?
A: First, go to the Sun Cave, SW of Deusas and get the Sun Mirror.
Bring it to a man in Deusas and he'll tell you of a secret passage
in the well in Paulie. Go to Paulie and go through the tunnel to
Caulie. The tower is north of Caulie.

Q: I got to the bottom of Gyplos mine, but there's nothing there!
A: Not all the rooms you walked through were identical. Go back
and check for side passages.

Q: Where do I go after beating Badish and Radish?
A: Your next destination is Dena, south of Gonaar.

Q: How do I get into the Thieves' Hideout?
A: Use the Sleep Medicine you got from Costalian.

Q: How do I get to Gold City without losing all my money?
A: Don't go there until you have Liz's Pickpockets tech. Once you
do, use that tech on the thieves.

Q: Where do I go after getting the Remote Control?
A: To Tarna. Go west from Esmo, then south.

Q: Why can't I enter Trancia Castle?
A: The barrier prevents armed people from getting through. Remove
your weapons and you'll be able to get in. You can reequip them
after you're inside.

Q: Where is the Diamond Shield?
A: The thieves near Lunessus have it.

----. Walkthrough

---0. Araytos Mountain and Dragon Razeth

The morning after a stormy night, you go to see your teacher. He
says that today, you are to graduate from the school, but before
you do, there is one last test. You must go to see the dragon on
top of the mountain. You leave the house and go to the mountain.
On top, there is a cabin. Inside the cabin is a dragon statue. You
look around, seeing nothing out of the ordinary. As you go to
leave, you hear a voice.

The voice identifies itself as the dragon Razeth. He tells you of
things called ñPanjeî, which are the source of all negative
emotions. They had been sealed away, but someone has broken the
seal. There are 5 Panjes, which take the form of phoenixes. If
left unchecked, it could mean disaster. Razeth gives you his power
in the form of an ñOrbî. The four Orbs together have the ability
to reseal the Panjes.

You go back to the school and tell your teacher what happened. The
teacher says that the Dragon Razeth is the one who created this
world, and the Orb you were given is part of his soul. Since you
were given it, it means you must be destined for something great.
But now, you must find the other Orbs. The teacher suggests Saint
Bacchus. It's a big city, where lots of people gather. He gives
you a Knife for good luck.

---1. Raza's Cave
Leave the school and go to Nacsh, just to the west. Your house is
in the NE corner. Your mother is there. She heard what happened
from your teacher. She tells you that your father also saw Razeth.
He left to fulfill the mission he was given 15 years ago, just
before you were born, and still hasn't returned.

Some people tell you of a traveler staying in the inn that
supposedly came from Saint Bacchus. Go there and talk to the man
in yellow. He tells you that on the way from Saint Bacchus, he
stopped in the village of Marzen. There was a priest there who had
supposedly met the Dragon Razeth.

Items in Nacsh: 100 G

Go NW from Nacsh to Marzen. To the west of Marzen is a cave. One
woman, an old friend of your father, says that he once trained in
that cave and asks if you've gone there, too. The Short Sword he
used is probably still there.

The priest who saw Razeth is a boy named Theo. He was abandoned as
a baby in front of one of the houses in Marzem 14 years ago, and
was raised by one of the villagers. Talk to the priest on the
second floor of the church. He says that Theo was given a mission
by Razeth, just like you, and he also headed for Saint Bacchus to
find his intended companions.

Buy some herbs, then go west from Marzen to Raza's Cave. The
stairs to the second level are in the north (looking like a hole
in the floor)

On the third floor, you find where Raza left his old equipment,
including the Short Sword the woman told you about.

Items in Raza's Cave: Herb (3), Sylph Bracelet, Antidote, Fairy
Wing, Leather Boots, Leather Shield, Leather Helmet, Moon Shard,
Short Sword, 40 G

---2. Goblins

Go north from Marzen, around the lake, to Pegasion. Lately,
several children from Pegasion have been kidnapped by the goblins
living nearby (Despite this, one boy has named his dog Goblin, to
the consternation of his mother). All who have attempted to
exterminate the goblins have failed.

The priest of the town recently found a girl named Liz lying ill
on the road, and the villagers nursed her back to health. She has
gone to the goblins' den to try and rescue the children, in order
to repay their kindness. Most aren't confident she'll succeed,
since she'd only 13. Before she left, she had been talking about
having met the Dragon Razeth.

Go to the castle and talk to the king. He asks you to try to
eliminate the goblins. If you do, he'll give you a medal. Only
important people have them, and with it, you'll be able to cross
the bridge leading to Saint Bacchus freely.

Items in Pegasion: Sylph Bracelet, Sun Shard, Moon Shard, Troll
Eye

The goblin lair is NW of Pegasion. However, the guard there won't
let you in, just yet. The goblins are too strong for anyone to
take on alone. Perhaps you could catch up the the priest from
Marzen before he reaches Saint Bacchus.

The only other place to go is Guizen, to the east. Trade between
Pegasion and Saint Bacchus is the lifeblood of the town, so they
don't let just anyone cross the bridge. The guards will block you
if you try.

Go to the second floor of the inn. Theo is there. He couldn't
cross the bridge, either, so he decided to wait for you. He joins
you.

Go back to the goblin lair. Now that there are two of you, the
guard lets you in.

Liz and the goblins are on the bottom floor. She is trying to
protect a boy from being taken by the goblins. The goblin
underlings surround them while the boss goblin attacks you.

Once you defeat the boss goblin, the boy and Liz thank you. She
already knows who you are. Liz joins the party, and everyone goes
back to Pegasion.

Items in the goblin lair: Antidote, Herb (2), Sylph Bracelet,
Clothes, Leather Shield, Crab Shell (2), Leather Armor, Strange
Apple, Leather Shoes, 17 G

The boy's parents come to meet you. The father tells you to come
to his house later. If you do, he'll give you 200 G. Go see the
king, and he'll congratulate you and give you the medal he
promised. Now that you have the medal, the guards at the bridge in
Guizen will let you through.

Go back to Guizen. Sure enough, the guards don't stop you.

---3. The Fairy Forest and the Tower of Kiza

Sait Bacchus is west of Guizen and south of the desert. Although
people in other cities all seem to dream of coming here, the
people who actually live here don't seem to like it. Some people
seem overcome with greed, while others bemoan the state of the
city. People are behaving in ways they haven't before, all
apparently for the sake of money.

Some people talk of seeing a huge falling star. The star split
into 4 before it hit the ground. Others talk about the fairy
forest to the north, where fairies supposely live. The fairies
supposedly have something called a fairy key. Children in the
school in the castle are learning about the war between Saint
Bacchus and the country of Deusas, which occured 300 years ago.
The king is still proud of his army, claiming that no country is
strong enough to invade them. Most odd of all, there's a man
taking a photo (!!) of his grandparents by the castle.

The fairy forest is the most likely destination. Most people going
to the fairy forest stop at the town of Polydos on the way.
Polydos is on the coast, east of Saint Bacchus. It is a port town,
and trade is its livelihood. It used to rely on trade between
Saint Bacchus and Deusas, but that has stopped.

The symbol of Polydos is the ñOrnament of Giyamanî, which is kept
in a tower. The head traders are convinced that it protects the
city, and to lose it would mean losing the favor of the trade
gods. Therefore, the tower is guarded and you can't enter.
There is a hospital in Polydos. One of the patients is mother to a
thief named Peo. According to her, he left for the Tower of Kiza,
looking for a way to cure her.

Head north along the coast from Polydos and west around the
mountains. You'll come to a large forest. Look for a small
clearing in the center. This is the Fairy Village. They don't
particularly like humans here. If you ask around, you'll find out
that it's because a human thief named Peo stole the Fairy Key and
ran off to the Tower of Kiza to the NW. You'll also hear that a
fairy girl named Lumiess was visited by the Dragon Razeth. She
must be the fourth member you've been looking for. However, it's
unlikely the fairies will help you. Maybe if you got the Fairy Key
back, they'd listen.

Items in Fairy Village: Fairy Staff, Fairy Robe, Fairy Hat, Fairy
Shoes

To get to the Tower of Kiza, go around the river to the west, then
west along the coastline. You'll probably want to stock up on
Sylph Bracelets. There is no church or weapon/armor shop in the
Fairy Village, so if you want to save, revive a comrade or buy
better equipment, you'll have to go all the way back to Polydos.

Peo and his cronies are on the top floor. Peo says he intends to
use the Fairy Key to get rich, so he can live in luxury with his
family. He doesn't intend to give it back. The three of them
attack. After you beat them, he gives the key back, but claims he
won't give up. Peo and his friends leave.

Items in Tower of Kiza: Herb, Leather Helmet, Antidote, Blow Horn,
250 G

Take the Fairy Key back to the Fairy Village and give it to the
old woman in the house with three chests. She says she always
mistrusted humans, but you've shown her that at least some are
bad. She tells you to talk to the other fairies. They ignored you
before, but now they'll talk. They say that the human world will
soon be destroyed. The Panje seals have been undone, and someone
or something from the underworld is using their power to try to
destroy the surface world. The Panjes affect people's minds,
driving them crazy with greed and desire until they destroy
themselves. Finally, Lumiess' mother tells you that she already
headed to Saint Bacchus to try and find you.

Head back to Saint Bacchus (stop in Polydos along the way and
Peo's mother will say he came to visit but left again). Lumiess is
in the casino. Apparently, they don't have casinos in the Fairy
Forest, and she was playing tourist. But she manages to drag
herself away from the slot machines and join you.

---4. The Ornament of Giyaman.

After Lumiess joins, a man rushes into the casino, yelling that
Polydos was attacked. He's taking his family and getting away
while he can, and everyone else should do the same.

The townspeople, on the other hand, don't seem too concerned.
They're convinced that Razeth will protect their city, and
besides, Saint Bacchus has never lost a war.

Go to Polydos. As you enter, a man runs up to you. He introduces
himself as Matheson and says that the townspeople escaped to the
east. The town was attacked by a man calling himself Goria. This
Goria is apparently trying to take over the world, using one of
the Panjes. Matheson's country was his last victim.

Before he can say anything else, soldiers chasing him appear.
Matheson runs away and the soldiers attack you, thinking you're
his friends.

After beating the soldiers, leave Polydos and go east. There is a
new town, New Polydos, there. The residents of Polydos have
rebuilt their town and have apparently gotten back to business as
usual. A man in the bar says that Matheson was here and was headed
to Deusas.

Go see the chief in the Hall of Records. He says that even though
they escaped with their lives, they had to leave their treasure,
the Ornament of Giyaman, behind. He asks you to retrieve it.

Go back to Polydos. Now that the guard is gone, you can enter
Polydos Tower. The Ornament of Giyaman is on the top floor.

Items in Polydos Tower: Sylph Bracelet, Bacchus Flute, Troll Eye,
Topaz Powder, Antidote, Herb, Trident, Bracer, Ornament of
Giyaman, 440 G

Bring the Ornament back to New Polydos and give it to the chief.
He thanks you. No sooner has he done that, than one of his
underlings runs in, saying that Saint Bacchus has been attacked.
He says it's been completely destroyed. The chief isn't surprised.
He figures they got overconfident and complacent since they've
never lost a war, and now it's come back to bite them. Since you
were able to retrieve the ornament, he figures you should be able
to do something about Saint Bacchus, and asks you to do something.
Polydos thrives on trade between cities, and without Saint
Bacchus, there will be no trade.

After you agree to go, he tells you that 2000 years ago, the world
was in the same predicament it is now. However, there is a legend
in Deusas that says something called the the ñLight of Razethî
saved one city from destruction. Perhaps this can save Saint
Bacchus. He give you a boat so you can get to Deusas and find this
legendary item.

---5. Saladin and Light of Razeth

If you go back to Saint Bacchus, you'll find it sealed by some
kind of magic barrier. The boat is waiting for you at the dock.
You can get on and off the boat wherever there is a dock.

Deusas is directly east of New Polydos. Despite the impression
given by the people in Saint Bacchus, Deusas seems to be quite
peaceful, with many people coming here to study and become
priests. Ask around and people tell you about a man named Saladin,
who died in a war with Saint Bacchus many years ago. There is a
town named after him, a peaceful farming town. The keeper of
Saladin's tomb supposedly has the Light of Razeth.

The town of Saladin is just south of Polydos. It's named after the
man who founded the town. The town elder tells you Saladin's
story. 300 years ago, Saint Bacchus attacked the town. Saladin was
unable to stop the attack, and died full of hatred. Fearing his
curse, the Saint Bacchus soldiers took his sword, shield and armor
and hid them in the Cave of Lamentation, Tower of Sorrow and Tower
of Wisdom, thinking it would seal the curse. However, there was no
curse, and without those three items, Saladin's soul can never
rest in peace. Many have searched, but no one has found them.
Saladin's tomb is on an island to the SE. If you find them and
bring them there, his soul can rest.

Items in Saladin: Strange Mushroom

The Cave of Lamentation is supposedly where Saladin's soldiers,
having nowhere to run to, all committed suicide. It is SW of
Saladin. All but one of the chests (in the NE corner) on the first
floor are all empty (lamentation, indeed). Saladin's Sword is on
the bottom floor.

Items in Cave of Lamentation: Topaz Powder (2), Strange Walnut,
Blow Horn, Staff of Hesitation, Wind of Life, Herb, Gauntlet,
Fairy Wing, Saladin's Sword, 1515 G

The town of Paulie is north of Deusas. The Tower of Sorrow is
supposedly nearby, but no one knows exactly where. However, a man
on the seconf floor of a house in Deusas says he'll tell you
something good if you bring him the Sun Mirror from the Sun Cave,
which supposedly has the ability to grant eternal life. According
to another man in town, the Sun Cave is to the SW. Go south from
Deusas and around the mountains to reach the cave.

The Sun Mirror is inside the Sun Cave. Once you find it, Ralph
will learn the Sun Sword tech and Liz will learn the Full Attacks
tech.

Items in Sun Cave: Sylph Bracelet, Fairy Staff, Troll Eye, Topaz
Powder, Gauntlet, Strange Mushroom, Chainmail, Bacchus Axe, Sun
Mirror, 160 G

Bring the mirror back to the man in Deusas. As promised, he tells
you that there is a passage in Paulie's well that leads to a
village in the mountains called Caulie.

Go to Paulie. You can now enter the well. After many twists and
turns, you'll end up in the village of Caulie. They don't get many
visitors there, and your presence creates a bit of a stir. Even
the drunks can't get any action because the barmaids are all
fascinated by the strange newcomers :).

Items in the well: Wind of Life, Herb, Topaz Powder (2), Troll
Eye, Hunting Bow

The Tower of Sorrow is north of Caulie. Saladin's Clothes are
inside.

Items of Tower of Sorrow: Hourglass, Troll Eye, Topaz Powder, Iron
Shield, Morningstar, Strange Apple, Wind of Life (2), Strange Nut,
Saladin's Clothes, 300 G

The Tower of Wisdom is on an island north of Deusas. It's said to
be haunted by the ghosts of those who could not complete their
training at Deusas. Saladin's Shield is on the top floor.

Items in Tower of Wisdom: Greave, Ballet Shoes, Topaz Powder, Red
Staff, Saladin's Shield, 1100 G

---6. The Underworld

Now that you have all three of Saladin's items, you can visit
Saladin's grave. The grave is on an island SE of Saladin village.
Go there give the items to the cartaker. He puts them on the three
altars, and soon there is a flash of lightning. Finally, Saladin's
soul is at peace. The caretaker gives you the Light of Razeth and
teleports you back to Saint Bacchus. Once there, the Light of
Razeth shines and the barrier is broken. You can now enter Saint
Bacchus again.

The city is empty and in ruins. The only sign of life is in the
palace. There is a man sitting on the throne. It is Goria, the
same man who destroyed Polydos. He attacks when you talk to him.

After you beat him, the Panje he had appears, but before you can
grab it, someone else appears and takes it. He is Gieter, one of
the ñSix Wizardsî, servants of the Dragon Digbadinon. He reveals
that they are from the underground world, and they intend to
conquer the surface. Then he speaks to Liz. He asks why she is
fighting against them, since not only is she an underworlder like
him, but it was her father, Galva, who gathered the Six Wizards.

Gieter vanishes and you all stare at Liz, demanding to know what
is going on. Just then, Matheson runs through the door. He tells
Liz that they found a way into the underworld, and can now return
home. Matheson is also an underworlder, but he explains that he
and Liz didn't come to the surface to conquer. They came to stop
Galva and the Six Wizards. They had infiltrated Goria's ranks to
try and gain information, but ended up being taken to the surface.
He asks you to help them save the underworld. After you say yes,
he tells you that the entrance is in a cave SE of Guizen.

NOTE: Once you go to the underworld, you cannot return to the
surface! Go stock up on things now! Especially Wind of Life and
Sun Shards.

Go along the coast SE of Guizen to reach the cave. Talk to the man
there. He'll heal you, the give you the last message from Razeth.
He says that the underworld is a place where Razeth's power cannot
reach. From now on, your fate is in your own hands. There is a
giant waterfall in the cave. If you jump into it, it will take you
to the underworld. You do as he says.

When you come to, you find yourself in the hame base of the
Resistance, Liz's comrades. The leader, Costalian, explains where
you are. Their goal is to bring down Galva and restore peace.
Another member, Teresa, says that Galva recieved an Orb from
Digbadinon, just as you did from Razeth. Since then, he's been
barricaded inside the Emperor's mansion. He has erected a barrier
around the mansion, making them unable to reach him. However, if
they can seal the Panjes that give Galva's Orb power, the barrier
should vanish. The other Six Wizards have the Panjes.

Suddenly, there is a loud noise from outside. The base is being
attacked! Costalian tells Teresa to get you out of there. Teresa
leads you to a staircase. Downstairs is a train car. You get in
and ride, eventually ending up at another station. The guard there
isn't too happy to see you, and immediately throws you out. Go up
the stairs and leave the station.

---7. The train

You are now in the town of Dulios, in the underworld. As you can
tell, things are very different. There is no night here. Things
are always bright. The people here don't even know what night is
(a kid in the school imagines it's like being in a closet). The
main difference between the underworld and the surface is the
trains. Here, the trains are used to transport goods between
cities. People generally don't ride on them, but some are looking
to change that. The king of Joshua, in the north, is trying to use
the trains to send troops to other cities so he can conquer them.
Rumor has it that a man named Gieter has taken over Joshua castle.

Items on Dulios: 500 G

Since Gieter is your first target, Joshua castle is your next
destination. Head north from Dulios. The town of Minea is near
Joshua Castle. Minea has seen better days. It used to be a lively,
happy town, but since the castle was taken over, things have
changed. Knights from the castle regularly come to town to kidnap
townspeople and take them back to the castle the build a fortress
there. No one ever comes back. They kill anyone who gets in their
way. Rumor has it that the real king managed to escape, but no one
knows for sure.

There is a group of knights in the inn. One of them says that
their leader is in the Cave of Delusion. You can get there by
taking the train to the town of Famil. A woman by the docks is
looking for her lost daughter, a girl with a doll with braids.

For now, there's no way to get to Joshua, so keep going. Go NW to
the town of Vicram. Vicram's main industry is silk. Or at least,
it was. They used to get their looms from the town of Gyplos, to
the south, but recently none have come. Now no one can make any
money and everyone is poor.

One of Vicram's residents is a train engineer who used to work in
Joshua castle, but fled when Gieter started killing his comrades.
He senses that you have business with Gieter and tells you that he
heard of a secret train station in Minea. Only Gieter and Joshua's
king know where it is. If you're going to use it, you'll need a
train car. He offers to give you one if you bring a loom from
Gyplos. His wife tells you about their daughter, Linda, who left
town to find work. She sends money back regularly, but they
haven't seen her.

Go south to Gyplos. Gyplos used to be a mining town, and made
money by manufacturing various items from the raw materials
gathered from their mine. But now, there's nothing left in the
mine. The factory in the north used to make looms, among other
things, but now it's all but shut down. If they had some ceramic
from the mine, they could make the loom you want.

The old mine is south of Gyplos. On the way down, you'll go
through a series of rooms that look identical. Side of them
aren't. They have side passages leading to a room with some
treasure. One of these side passages leads to a tunnel with a
piece of ceramic embedded in the wall. Take the ceramic and go
back to Gyplos.

Items in the mine: Steam Gun, Red Staff, Blue Staff, Wind of Life,
Ceramic

Show the ceramic to the head of the factory. He is surprised that
there was anything left in the mine, but agrees to make you a
loom. He gathers his workers, who are very enthusiastic about
actually having something to do again. He invites you to stay in
his house until the loom is finished. It is just south of the
factory. Go to the house and talk to his wife. The next morning,
go talk to the factory head again, and he'll give you the loom.

Go back to Vicram and give the loom to the train engineer. He'll
give you the Train Car in exchange. With this, you can use the
train tracks to travel between cities. Please see the section on
trains for a more detailed explanation.

---8. Joshua Castle

Now that you have the train, you can get to Famil. One of the
knights in Minea mentioned that their leader was in the Cave of
Delusion, near Famil. To get there, take the tracks east from
Minea.

The worker at the Famil station tells you that Joshua's king has
ordered that this track be extended to connect with the other
routes. He doesn't see the point in going to all this trouble for
a backwater town like Famil.

The people in Famil report seeing a man dressed in fine clothes,
like a king, as well as strange goings-on in the house in the NW
corner. If you go to the house, the door won't open, and a voice
inside says ñbuta buta butaî (ñpig pig pigî, which makes on
townswoman think they were calling her fat :P). Others talk of
Joshua knights heading NE.

Other Joshua knights are here, but these aren't Gieter's men. They
tell you that it was Gieter, not the king, who ordered the killing
i=of the engineers and the Minea villagers. They want to go back
to the castle as run Gieter off, but their leader won't let them.

Go NE from Famil to the Cave of Delusion. Deep in the cave, you'll
find a group of knights working on what look like missiles. The
knights there think you're a new recruit, and have no problem
spilling the beans about their plans. Gieter has ordered their
commander to launch these missiles at Minea. How they intend to
launch them from inside a cave, I don't know, but that's the plan.
The commander is the one in red, standing between the pillars. If
you want to keep them from launching the missiles, you'll have to
fight him.

After you beat him, he reveals that the king is in hiding. If the
king gave the order to retake Joshua castle, he'd be right in
front. Since no such order has come, he's stuck following Gieter's
orders (knights have to obey orders, you see). Since he thinks you
can save the king and give them a chance to return to the castle,
he teaches Ralph the Tornado Sword tech and Liz the Bi-Attacks
tech. He also tells you that the king is hiding in Famil, and the
password to get into where he is is ñtora tora toraî.

Items in Cave of Delusion: Steam Shield, Health Drop (2), Steam
Boots, Fire Gun, Iron Whip, 4400 G

Go back to Famil and try to enter the house in the NW corner. When
they say ñbuta buta butaî, you say ñtora tora toraî back. Then
they let you it. The king of Joshua is inside. He says that there
is a revolution brewing in Minea, and before it explodes, you must
run Gieter out of the castle. There isn't much time left. This is
probably their last chance. To get to the castle, you need to use
the secret train tracks. The entrance is in Minea's church.

Go to Minea. All the townspeople are gathered in the square.
They're ready to charge the castle, bring down Gieter, and punish
the king. They probably don't stand a chance, so you'll need to
stop Gieter before they get there.

Go to the church and search the statues. One of the moves,
revealing a staircase. Go down the stairs and take the train
there. The track leads to Joshua castle.

Gieter is in the throne room on the second floor. Fight him. After
you beat him, the Panje he had appears, and is sealed by the Orb.
You hear Razeth's voice. He says the Panje Gieter had was the
Panje of Mistrust. Without its influence, the townspeople should
trust each other again.

Items in Joshua castle: Health Drop (2), Steam Gun, Topaz Powder
(2), Strange Walnut, Fairy Wing, J Fatigues, Strange Nut, Iron
Shield, 2000 G

Go back to Minea. The revolution is thwarted, now that Gieter is
gone and the people know that the king didn't really abandon them.
Most of the people are planning to move to Famil, where the king
is rebuilding his kingdom.

Go to Famil. People there are busy building and expanding the
town. Everyone is convinced that the town will eventually become
the biggest and best in the world. He says he is going to build a
new castle here. The first part of the expansion, the train tracks
are done.

---9. Badish and Radish

Now that the tracks are open, you can ride the train east from
Famil. The track leads to Esmo, a village covered in snow. The
talk of the town is a pair of twins names Badish and Radish. They
were originally from Esmo, but has now become two of the Six
Wizards. The townspeople are proud to finally have someone famous
come from their village. They say they're in the cave to the
north. However, the cave's entrance has supposedly been sealed by
ice since the creation of the world. Somehow, they got in without
breaking the ice. Sure enough, if you go there, you won't be able
to enter.

There's nothing you can do here, yet, so continue on the tracks.
The next town you reach is Lunessus, but it's been destroyed, and
there is no one there.

Further down the tracks is Gonaar, a desert town. It's hot all the
time here. It is said that the fire the Dragon Digbadinon breathed
when Dena was destroyed scorched everything, and since then, the
area has always been hot. One villager tells you that another
villager, named Basue, has gotten hold of something that can break
through ice. However, it does no good in a hot place like this.
Basue lives near the giant hole to the south.

The village is poor, and many families, too poor to care for them
themselves, end up sending their children to be stay at the church
in the priests' village to the west. A villager tells you of one
such family. They were too poor to care for their daughter, so
they sent her away. Before they did, they gave her a doll with
braids. But now, they've reconsidered, and are looking for her.
However, no one knows where she is. Remember the woman in Minea
who was looking for her daughter? That must have been her mother.

However, not everyone ends up that way. There is a group of
thieves operating nearby, but instead of stealing from the
village, they come and leave money. One woman was on the verge of
sending her daughter to the church, but found the money they left
just in time.

Go south across the desert to find Basue's cabin, in a hollow in
the cave wall. Basue is inside. He is a collector of all things
rare and odd. Talk to him, and he notices your Medal. Intrigued,
he offers to trade his Steam Machine for it. The Steam Machine
should be able to melt the ice around Badish and Radish's cave.

As you leave Basue's cabin, Matheson finds you. He brings bad
news. The Resistance's main base has been attacked, and Costalian
and Teresas captured. The cave Badish and Radish had taken over
was none other than the Resistance base. Furthermore, the people
of Esmo have heard that you killed Gieter and are coming for
Badish and Radish, so they've hired mercenaries to stop you.

Go back to Esmo. As you try to get through, the mercenaries
attack. It's a fairly tough battle, so come prepared. Even after
you beat them, the villagers won't let you through. Go talk to the
mayor, after he flees into his house. He says that Badish and
Radish are the pride of their town and he won't let you through,
no matter what. Before you can do anything else, Matheson arrives.
He tells the mayor what your quest is, to try and convince him to
let you through. He even mentions that your enemy, Galva, is Liz's
father, and she is willing to fight her own father to accomplish
your goal. If Galva and his underlings are not stopped, the
Dragons will destroy the world, just like in the legends. The
twins now are not the twins they used to know. The mayor insists
that the twins themselves haven't done anything bad, yet, and may
not ever. Matheson changes tactics. He says that his comrades,
Costalian and Teresa are imprisoned in the cave, and just wants to
send you to see if they're still alive. The mayor agrees to this.
He'll let you through, but only to check on your friends. He is
sure the twins would not have harmed them.

Now that the way is open, go to the cave. Use the Steam Machine to
melt the ice. The cave leads to the Resistance base. Badish and
Radish are in the meeting room. The attack when you enter. After
you beat them, their Panje, the Panje of betrayal, appears and is
sealed by the Orb. You find Linda and Costalian asleep in the next
room. Costalian teaches Ralph the Moonlight Sword tech and Liz the
Escapes tech. He also gives you the Sleep Medicine, which Radish
dropped.

Items in Resistance base: Health drop, Troll Eye, Wind of Life,
Sun Shard, Gyplos Axe

The people of Esmo still don't want to believe that the twins were
anything other than good, but there's nothing you can do about it.
Head back to Gonaar.

---10. Gash

South of Priests Town is the town of Dena. It is located at the
edge of a huge hole. Legend has it that the people in the area
were so overcome with greed and ambition that the dragon
Digbadinon breathed fire from the hole to destroy them. Their
ghosts, however, could not let go of their desire, and were
trapped in the physical world. This is why it's so hot. The ruins
on the other side of town are all that remains of the former city.

One of the Six Wizards, Gash, has come to the ruins on the other
side of the hole, and since then, nothing but bad luck has
befallen the town. The ruins are haunted, and the town's Prayer
Book was the only thing keeping the ghosts at peace. Now it's been
taken. The priest Gorem supposedly took it under orders from Gash,
in order to exorcise the ghosts from the ruins. The book was never
meant to leave Dena. The town's mayor wishes someone would bring
it back. If you try to go to the ruins now, an evil force will
push you back. It looks like you'll have to get rid of the ghosts
before you can find the next of the Siz Wizards.

West of Gonaar is a town full of priests. If you're wondering what
happens to the donations you've given the other churches, it all
ends up here. Not even the church is immune to greed. Apparently,
there are even fake priests, who trick poor people out of their
money.

The priests talk of the Legendary Tower, south of Lunessus. It is
said that that is where humans can see dragons, and where the
spirits of the dead go. One priests tells of a man from the town
who promised to wait for his companion there.

A priest in a brick house asks if you're Ralph and company. Answer
yes. He says he's tired of the way the world is, with everyone
obsessed with money, and is hoping you succeed in your mission. To
help, he offers to teach Ralph the Destruction Sword tech in
exchange for 1000 G

The priests also talk about a ring of thieves that have been
operating in the area. They supposedly steal from the rich, and
distribute the money among the poor, like in Gonaar. If you're
looking for something that's gone missing, the thieves will
probably know where it is.

Items in Priests Town: 9120 G

Take the train to Lunessus and leave town. Go east around the lake
to the Thieves' Hideout. If you have the Sleep Medicine, you'll
use it automatically, putting the gate guard to sleep. One of the
thieves knows about Gorem. He says he often goes to Gold City.
Before the leader of the thieves will talk, he wants to fight.
Regular attacks don't do much good against him, but Lumiess' magic
does. If you beat him, he teaches Liz the Pickpockets tech. the
thief in green tells you to use this technique on the thieves
blocking the way to Gold City.

Items in Thieves Hideout: Strange Nuts (2)

Take the train to Vicram. Vicram has also changed. Now that they
can make silk again, the town is prospering. Unfortunately, it
seems to be falling into the same trap that Saint Bacchus did,
with people getting spoiled and greedy. Gyplos has reopened their
mine, and restarted the factories. That town seems to be
prospering, too.

Some men in the Vicram's bar talk about Gold City, which has just
been built in the west. One of them mentions Linda, the train
engineer's daughter, being there. Go west, into the narrow tunnel.
A pair of thieves stop you, demanding all your money in exchange
for passage. Refuse, and they attack. Use Liz's new tech on them.
They recognize it as belonging to their boss. Since you're also a
student of their boss, they let you through.

Gold City is a town of casinos and brothels. Poor Linda has been
working in one of the brothels. She's apparently very popular. Go
into Linda's brothel and talk to the girl behind the counter. It
costs 300 G to enter, which she'll take automatically. Linda is in
the next room. She asks you to take her back to Vicram. When you
agree, two of the club's bouncers come and demand that you leave.
Refuse, and they attack. After you get rid of them, all the girls
decide to leave and start over somewhere else. They tell you that
there are others in the same predicament as them. Children are
being held a fake church and forced to work. Gorem has been taking
children from poor families, claiming to be giving them a better
home, then using them as slave labor. They say he's taken them to
the Cave of Delusion, NE of Famil, the same place where the
missiles were being kept.

Go back to Famil. It has grown. People from around the world are
moving here. Many new houses are being built. The king is even
helping build his new castle. Go NE to the Cave of Delusion and go
through the cave to where the missiles were. The guards stop you,
and Gorem tells you to leave. You refuse and he attacks.

After you beat him, you find the Prayer Book. Seeing their chance
to escape, the children he'd been holding there all run. One stops
and takes you to a tombstone in the corner of the room. She shows
you here doll, which has its hair in braids. It used to belong to
a friend of hers, but the friend died. She gives you the doll,
since she has others back at home. You take the doll to Minea and
give it to the woman who was looking for her daughter. After
finding out that her daughter died, the woman tries to throw
herself into the sea. You stop her. She eventually goes back to
her village.

Bring the Prayer Book to Dena and give it to the mayor. He uses it
to calm the ghosts in the ruins. Now you can enter. Before you do,
he tells you that there is a legend that says one can climb to
heaven from the top floor of the ruins.

Exit Dena to the west and go around the hole to the ruins. To get
into the tower, go down the stairs in one of the houses. Gash is
on the top floor of the tower. He is angry that you calmed the
ghosts, because he was wanting to use them. He attacks. Physical
attacks are all but useless, so it's pretty much up to Lumiess and
Theo this time. Fortunately, you should have found some Topaz
Drops for them to use. Once you beat him, his Panje, the Panje of
Desire, is sealed.

Items in Dena ruins: Topaz Powder (4), Health Drop, Wind of Life

Go up the stairs. You find yourself in a castle. This is the town
of Tisia. Razeth supposedly can be heard often here. Even though
it hs a castle, there is no king. They don't believe that Razeth
would approve of humans ruling other humans, not of humans ruling
over nature. The idea that humans could rule nature once angered
Digbadinon so much that he tried to destroy the human world. At
this time, Razeth gave one man the Light of Razeth and was able to
save a single town. This town was Tisia.

People in town tell you that you're fighting for humanity to be
able to decide its own destiny, instead of relying on the dragons
to guide them.
A train engineer who fled from Joshua castle is hiding in one of
the houses. He gives you the Remote Control, which you can use to
change the tracks while riding the railroad. Please see the
section on the trains for more detailed information on how to use
it.

Leave Tisia, and you'll find yourself on the surface world again.
You might recognize the place as an island east of Nacsh.
Unfortunately, you won't be able to warp to any of the surface
towns, however. Talk to the man gazing out at the sea. He tells
you that long ago, a man named Raza came and looked out over the
same sea. He mentioned that he wished he could see as far as where
he'd left his two sons. One of the sons was named Theo, but the
man doesn't remember the name of the other. But, of course, Raza
was the name of Ralph's father. Does that mean Ralph and Theo are
brothers?

When you're ready to leave, go back to where you came in and stand
on the circle. It will teleport you back to Dena.

Items in Tisia: Fairy Knife, Flail, Iron Helm, Steam Hammer, Fairy
Clothes, Greave, 2838 G

---11. Thorn Gina

Now that you have the Remote Control, you can reach stations and
tracks that were unreachable before. Explore the tracks. There are
several new towns and stations where you can find treasure.

New towns:
Tarna: Go west from Esmo, then south
Raydes: Go west from Gonaar, then west and north
Rapore: Go east from Dena, then east three times
Bylos: Go east from Rapore, then east twice

Famil has changed again. It now has a proper castle. Talk to one
of the guards and he'll raise Ralph's and Liz's TP. One of the
advisor tells you that the king still regrets letting his old
castle be taken over by Gieter, and to help forget, he abandoned
the Diamond Helmet Gieter gave him in the Famil Mine.

First, go to Tarna. The townspeople there are all talking about
the upcoming wedding of Arpegino, the local prince and Sara, a
famous actress. All the men have a crush on Sara, and all the
woman swoon over Arpegino. However, Sara has disappeared. Some say
she's been kidnapped. Some say she's dead. Arpegino believed the
rumors, and set off on a journey to the Dragon Cave, north of
town. Digbadinon is said to live in the cave, and some say that
the Dragons have the ability to resurrect the dead. He went to
find Digbadinon to ask him to bring back Sara.

The tradition here is that during a wedding, the groom gives the
bride a ruby, and the bride gives the groom an emerald. It is said
that the gems hold the couple's souls. No one knows what happened
to Arpegino's and Sara's gems.

Even though all the women are jealous of Sara, one in particular
had a special grudge. Thorn Gina, one of the Six Wizards, had
thought she would marry Arpegino. When his marriage to Sara was
announced, she left the town in a rage and returned to the Saint
Badinon shrine.

Items in Tarna: Silk Gloves (3), Silk Dress (3), Silk Staff (3),
Fancy Shoes (3)

The Saint Badinon Shrine is in Rapore. Go east from Dena, then
east at the three intersections you come to to get to Rapore.
Rapore is home to the priestesses that serve the shrine. They say
that when Digbadinon wants to tell humanity something, he
communicates with the master of the shrine. Thorn Gina is the
current mistress of the shrine. She and Sara were both in love
with Arpegino. Arpegino, however, only loved Sara. For revenge,
Thorn Gina locked Sara in an abandoned mansion, where she later
died. Normally. Thorn Gina doesn't leave the shrine, but if you
bring something to do with Arpegino, she may appear.

Galva apparently also served here at one point, 13 years ago.
However, one priestess tells you that he'd changed his name when
he came to Rapore. Before coming to Rapore, his name was something
like Raza. So now Ralph, Theo and Liz are all siblings?

Since you'll need Arpegino's gem to get to Thorn Gina, the first
order of business seems to be to find Arpegino. He supposedly went
to find Digbadinon in the Dragon Cave.

The Dragon Cave is north of Tarna. At the bottom of the cave, you
find Arpegino's grave (with a tombstone made by Basue). It looks
like you were too late. His sword, the Shining Sword is next to
the grave. You take it.

Items in Dragon Cave: Strange Mushroom, Gyplos Axe, Wizard Sword,
Fairy Wing, Wind of Life, Health Drop, 8830 G

Go tell the king of Tarna about Arpegino's death. Upon finding out
that Basue buried him, he asks you to thank Basue for him. As
thanks, he raises Ralph's and Liz's TP.

Now, you must find Sara. Thorn Gina imprisoned her in an old
mansion. To get there, go east from Famil, then east, west, west,
south and east. When you get there, you see Sara's ghost. She begs
you to free her soul from this mansion. She asks you to take her
emerald to Arpegino, who is waiting in the Legendary Tower.

As you may remember from what one of the priests in Priest Town
said, Legendary Tower is where the souls of the dead go. It is
south of Lunessus.

At the top pf the tower, you see a flash of light and the emerald
starts to glow. Then there is a red flash and Arpegino's ghost
appears, calling for Sara. Sara joins him. Now the two can be
together forever, and no one is able to keep them apart. They
disappear, leaving their jewels behind. You pick up Arpegino's
Ruby.

Items in Legendary Tower: Hourglass, Wind of Life, Health Drop
(2), Badinon Clothes, Dragon Mail

Now that you have the jewels, you should be able to get Thorn Gina
to appear. Go to Rapore and head east. After several bridges,
you'll get to the Saint Badinon shrine. There is an altar on the
second floor. Put the two jewels in the altar's hands. They catch
fire and disappear. Thorn Gina's voice demands to know who put
such wretched things on the altar and tells you to come through
the maze to find her.

Go back to the first floor. The pool has drained and there is now
a doorway leading farther into the shrine. Thorn Gina is waiting
at the bottom. Physical attacks don't do much against her, but
Lumiess' spells work somewhat. Once she'd defeated, you collect
her Panje, the Panje of jealousy.

Items in Saint Badinon Shrine/Labyrinth: Moon Shard, Wind of Life
(2), Sun Shard (3), Topaz Powder, Badinon Staff, Silk Robe,
Badinon Clothes, Badinon Bow, Strange Apple, J Fatigues, Troll Eye
(2), Wizard Shield, Iron Armor, Antidote (3), Health Drop (5),
Dagger, Steam Mace, Iron Helmet, Strange Cherry, Wizard Helmet,
16890 G

---12. Azel

Take the train west from Gonaar, then west, then north to get to
Raydes, a city in the country of Trancia. The castle of Trancia is
across the lake, but the only way to get there is through the
Pressian Cave, and many people have died trying to make the
journey. There, they talk of a discovery that was made in
Lunessus. Supposedly, it had something to do with the monsters.
Whatever it was, it was destroyed along with the city in an
instant. Before the Six Wizards came, a great bolt of lightning
came from the sky and destroyed Lunessus. Since then, strange
monsters have been appearing. They also talk of a strange place
near the river.

Pressian Cave is to the west. The cave is in sections, each one
separated by a small desert area. At the end of the cave is an old
man. Impressed that you actually mae it through the cave, he
teaches Liz the Surely Hits tech.

Items in Pressian Cave section 1: Crystal Boots, Leather Shield,
Wind of Life, Dragon Mail, Dragon Shield
Items in Pressian Cave section 2: Gyplos Axe, Topaz Powder(2),
6200 G
Items in Pressian Cave section 3: Dragon Mace, Dragon Helmet,
Topaz Powder(2), 3 G
Items in Pressian Cave section 4: Dragon Greave, Topaz Powder,
6330 G

The cave outside Pressian Cave leads to Guildy Town, a town built
in a cave. Azel, the last of the Six Wizards, is king of Trancia
Castle, to the SW. Some townspeople tell you that Trancia Castle
is called the ñpeaceful castleî. This is because it has a special
gate that doesn't allow armed people inside. But even the ones who
could go inside were not allowed in the King's chamber. They also
tell you the legend of Bullmore I, the former king of Trancia, who
fought with armor and weapons made of diamond. Supposedly, someone
wearing such armor can become king of Trancia. Perhaps that is the
key to entering the king's chamber. There is a boy in town who
says he's Bullmore XVIII, the reincarnation on Bullmore I, but his
mother says he's just playing.

--12a. Diamond Equipment

Diamond Sword:
Take the Shining Sword to the smith in Guildy Town. He'll take it
from you and reforge it into the Diamond Sword.

Diamond Shield:
Go see the thieves near Lunessus (where Liz learned the
Pickpockets tech). The leader has found the Diamond Shield (but
won't say where he got it) and gives it to you.

Diamond Greave:
It's in a station on the tracks. Go east from Famil, then east,
west, west, south and west.

Diamond Helmet:
Famil's king left it in the Famil Mine.  The mine is west from
Famil, around the mountains. You'll have to fight off a pair of
mercenaries at the bottom of the mine in order to get the helmet.

Items in Famil Mine: Topaz Powder, Blow Horn, Steam Shield, Steam
Mace, Wind of Life, Hunting Bow, Sylph Bracelet, Diamond Helmet,
2000G

Diamond Armor:
Take the train west from Rapore, then west to get to Bylos. This
village is far away from other cities, and has plenty of food
growing naturally, so no one living here has to work too hard.
Some call it the happiest village in the world. Others say that to
live without doing anything is to give up being human.

The mayor's house supposedly has something rare inside. Go there
and you'll find a chest, but when you go near it, the mayor
himself comes in. He says the chest contains the Diamond Armor,
but if you want it, you'll have to get permission from the old man
living in the Bylos Mine. He claims the man is his great-great
grandfather, but doesn't want you telling anyone. The townspeople
think the old man is mad, and he doesn't want them thinking the
same of him.

The mine is SW of Bylos. The old man is at the bottom of the mine.
He is indeed old. In fact, he is immortal, but has grown tired of
it. He doesn't know (or doesn't remember) how he became immortal,
and fled to the mine because people were treating him like a
monster. He teachs Ralph the Magic Sword tech and Liz the Bi
Colors tech, and says you can have the Diamond Armor.

Items in Bylos Mine: Health Drop, Wind of Life, Strange Cherry,
Hourglass, Blow Horn, Dragon Mace, Topaz Powder, Troll Eye,
Leotard, Wind of Life (2), 50G

Go back to Bylos and try to take the armor again.  The mayor
appears again. This time, he knows you've talked to the old man
because you have the Magic Sword and Bi-Colors techs. He wonders
if you were sent by one of the dragons, but doesn't give you a
chance to answer. Take the armor from the chest.

--12b. Trancia Castle

The castle is SW of Guildy Town. If you try to enter with your
weapons equipped, you'll be pushed back. Remove them, then go
through the gate. You can put them back on after you get in.

The King's chamber is on the second floor. You won't be able to
enter unless either Ralph or Liz is wearing all the Diamond
equipment. Azel is there. He thinks that since you brought the
Bullmore I's weapon and armor, you've come to take Trancia from
him, and he won't let that happen. He attacks.

Once you defeat him, his Panje, the Panje of vanity, appears.

Items in Trancia Castle: Steam Shield, Wizard Shield, Topaz
Powder, Sylph Bracelet, Health Drop, Wind of Life(2), 6200 G

---13. Galva

Go to the Resistance Base and talk to the woman there. She tells
you that Matheson has become a prince in Tarna. It turns out he
was Arpegino's younger brother!

Now that you have all the Panjes, you must seal them. The Panje
Shrine is in a small clearing NE of Saint Badinon. When you enter,
the five Panjes fly into the circle and are sealed. You hear
Razeth's voice. He thanks you for collecting them and gives you a
set of armor made from his own scales. You enter the circle and
are transported somewhere.

A man meets you there. He says there is something you must know
before you meet Galva. He shows you what happened in Lunessus, the
reason humanity incurred the wrath of Digbadinon.

A group of scientist are gathered in the lab. Their experiment has
been a success. After 15 years of work an research, they are
finally able to create artificial life. This could mean eternal
life and happiness for all humanity. But soon a red glow surrounds
them...

The man explains that at that moment, Digbadinon destroyed the
city. The scientists there had tried to play god. Humans were
never meant to be gods, only a part of nature, no better or worse
than any other living thing.

The magic circle will take you to the similar circle near Raydes,
if you need to save or restock.

The Emperor's Mansion is west of the magic circle. The mansion is
built like a maze. Galva is on the top floor.

Items in Emperor's Mansion: Strange Nuts, Silk Staff, Troll Eye,
Strange Apple, Crystal Mail, Fairy Wing, 3950 G

Galva recognizes you as his children. He asks why you intend to
fight him. He had protected the Panjes, just as Razeth ordered,
and unsealed them, just as Digbadinon had ordered. He is just like
you, obeying the orders of the dragons that created humanity. He
teleports you away.

As you approach once again, he says he hears the voice of
Digbadinon, and it is telling him to destroy all of you. Since he
refuses to disobey a dragon's order, he attacks. Ralph's Razeth
Sword is the only one that will do a decent amount of damage
against him. Have everyone else use magic or heal. He's pretty
tough. For most rounds, have Ralph attack, Lumiess cast Blizzasia,
Theo cast Lifium, and Liz use a Strength Drop on whoever has the
lowest HP.

After you beat Galva, you hear Razeth's voice again. He thanks you
as asks you to fove Raza/Galva. Lumiess disappears, sent back to
the fairy village by Razeth's magic. Humanity is now free to
create its own world, the world they want. Whether they create a
paradise or destroy the world is now up to them.  But Razeth warns
you that there are many things humans cannot see (like him).

Lumiess appears in front of you. She says she was sent on the
journey with by Razeth, since he did not yeet trust humans, having
already been betrayed by them once. But now you've regained his
trust. Now that the world belongs to humans, you'll probably never
see fairies or monsters again, but she and the other fairies will
always be nearby. She thanks you and disappears again.

Raza/Galva appears again, free from Digbadinon's influence.

After the credits roll (yes, the ending is that abrupt), you get
stats on how many times you pressed each button during the game,
how many times each character died, how many encounters you had,
how many monsters you killed, how many chests you opened, times
you saved the game and times you stayed in an inn.

Congratulations! You have finished Dual Orb!
