I. Introduction

Doraemon and all related names/content are copyright and TM Epoch. This guide
was written solely by me and no one else. The only site that has permission to
host this guide is Gamefaqs. <www.Gamefaqs.com> This guide may be printed out
for home use but under no circumstances can it be used to gain a profit. That
means you can't sell it or charge money for access to it.

Doraemon is childrens cartoon that was created in 1969 by Fujimoto Hiroshi and
Motoo Abiko. The storyline in the cartoon goes as follows:

Doraemon is a cat-like robot from the future sent to the present by Nobitas
grandson to help Nobita out with everyday life. Doraemon has a fourth
dimensional pocket on his stomach that holds various tools to help Nobita when
he's dealing with bullies. Most of the time Nobita is getting beat up by
bullies, being late for school, and getting yelled at by his parents and
teachers.

I do not speak Japanese and therefore I do not know much anything about the
story of this game. Everything I did to get through this game I did through
trial and error and by talking to everything I could when something happened
in the game. So when I went through the game it probably took a lot longer
than it would someone who could read Japanese. Because of this inability to
read Japanese I also just made up the names of the areas by what I see fit,
so they may not be correct either. If anybody has any information or
corrections don't hesitate to email it to me and I will add it to this guide.

II. Version

1.1 - 05/08/04 - Removed a small reference and added a date to the guide.
1.0 - 05/07/04 - The first version. I completed the game while writing this.

III. Character List

Doraemon - A blue cat robot from the future. He was sent by Nobitas grandson
to help him. He had his ears chewed off by rats in the future.
Nobita - The main character. Nobita always gets yelled at by everyone,
especially his parents.
Suneo - A spoiled little kid who gets everything he wants. Suneo is always
getting Nobita in trouble.
Jyian - The bully of the team, and is always bullying Nobita. Jyian has a
horrible singing voice.
Shizuka - Everyone likes Shizuka, especially Nobita. She is always taking
baths and Nobita always walks in on her while she's in the tub.

IV. Walkthrough

i. Prehistoric

Talk to the guy to the right. Make your way through the level to the door with
the blinking yellow symbol on it. Go into the door and defeat the enemy in
there to break one of the power beams. Go through the door to end up back in
the starting area. When you make it back talk to the man in front of the white
building you will get what looks like a dinosaurs skull. Jump on the floating
black circle and pick the top option to warp into the city. Leave the house.
Go to the ranch style house and talk to the boy to get a new character, Suneo.
Go back into the red roofed house you came out of and jump on the rainbow
light. Pick the bottom option to go back to the starting area. Go into the
building with the sign that says INN. Pick the top option and then pick the
bottom option to change into Suneo. Suneo can crawl under narrow spaces. Go to
the right and look for the door that’s only accessible by a narrow crawlspace.
Use Suneo to go under there and enter the door. Go through this level by
jumping on the moving platforms and avoiding the enemies. Find the door with
the yellow flashing symbol and enter it. Defeat the level boss to break the
second power beam. Go back into the city and talk to the girl in the pink dress
near the top right to get what looks like a stone tablet. Also talk to the boy
in the yellow near the bottom to get a glove. Go back to the jungle and go in
the hut with the sign that has a sword and shield on it. You will give the
stone tablet to the cavewoman inside and she will now open up her shop to you.
The caveman in the item hut will also sell you stuff. Go into the INN and
change into Doraemon by choosing the first option and then the second option.
Go to the level to the right and find a patch of ground that has the glove
symbols on it. Hold down and press A to dig. Go through here and get the heart
container to extend your life. Leave by going through the door at the bottom.
Go back into the city and talk to the woman in the house to get a doll. Leave
the house and go the house with the red roof to the right and give Jyian the
doll. Jyian will join you. Go back to the jungle and to the INN and select
Jyian by choosing the first option and then the bottom option. Go to the right
and find the door with the blocks that have musical notes on them blocking it.
Use Jyians weapon to break the blocks. Enter the door and go through this stage
collecting the yellow crystals and the blue heart at the end. Exit the level by
entering the door. Go all the way to the right until you reach a large wall of
music note blocks. Make your way through this level until you find a door with
a flashing yellow symbol on it surrounded by music note blocks. Break the
blocks and enter the door. Defeat the level boss to break the last power beam.
When you go back to the jungle go all the way to the right until you find a
spaceship, enter it. Go through this level by stepping on the four switches to
deactivate the light beams. One switch is right next to the beams. Ride the
platform to the top and enter the door to the right. Run to the right to avoid
the spikes to find the second switch. Take care not to get hit by the spikes
because they are an automatic life gone. After jumping on the switch go back
and enter the door to the left. Make your way through the robots and jump on
the switch. Go on the upper platforms to the right and enter the door. Step on
the final switch. Go through where the blue beams where and enter the door
with the flashing yellow symbol. Inside defeat the large spider-bot. When you
are done go through the door, you are now in the Old West.

ii. Old West

Yyou will loose Suneo. Go to the right and enter the level. Make you way
through the level and enter the door with the flashing yellow symbol. Defeat
the level boss. A good strategy is to stand on the barrel and shoot the enemy
while dodging his axes. Go through the topmost door. Now enter the door next
to the creature with the halo. Make your way through here by digging to reach
the door with the flashing yellow symbol at the very bottom left. In this door
is a boss fight, it is very hard. You must jump over him while he is still on
his horse and then once he is off stay very close and just keep hitting him.
Once the boss is defeated you will get your character back that you lost. Go
back to the city and talk to the dog to get a shovel. Talk to the girl in the
pink dress to get Doraemons helicopter hat. Press B to use it, the hat will let
you navigate through the city better. Now use the helicopter hat by pressing
B and fly to the big tree in the middle of the forest to the left. Inspect the
tree to get a heart container. Next go up past where the cones had been
blocking your way and go to the building with the clock on it. Talk to the
house to get what looks like a blow dryer. Now go up and to the right to reach
a new part of the city. Inspect the large gray tubes in the midle of the sand
to get a heart container. Go down to the house with four doors and inspect the
first one to the left to get a stopwatch. Inspect the one to the far right to
get a heart container. Go back to the Old West and go to the left of the
starting area. You will find a patch of ground that has glove symbols on it.
Dig here to go down and get a heart container and four yellow crystals. When
you get back to the surface go to the right and go into the INN. Get Jyian as
your character and go to the left to break the musical note blocks. Keep going
left to find a door with a flashing yellow symbol. Enter this door and defeat
the level boss to get what looks like a key. Go back to the city and down to
Shizukas house. It is down and to the left of Nobitas house. She will now join
you. Go up and to the right then down and talk to the little girl with black
hair and a pink dress. Next go up and talk girl with the red hair and orange
dress, you will get what looks like a bazooka. Go down and to the red house
that is to the right of the big sand trap to get what looks like a robot head.
Now go back to the Old West and use Shizuka as your character. When you jump
with her if you keep pressing jump she has the ability to fly. Go to the left
until you come to the wall of musical note blocks jump up and fly through the
narrow opening to find a door. Navigate through this level to collect a heart
container and about five yellow crystals. Go back to the starting area and go
to the right until you reach a big gate. Fly up here and enter the door.
Navigate through this level to get about five yellow crystals and a heart
container. Go back to the starting area and change your character to Nobita.
Go to the right until you find a patch of ground that has shovels on it. Jump
up here and hold down before you land to break through. Navigate through this
level to get two heart containers and about four yellow crystals. Go back to
the starting area and change your character to Shizuka. Fly up to the door on
the cloud and enter. Navigate through this level to find a pink door with a
flashing yellow symbol, enter it. Defeat the pink flying level boss. Now you
are back in the city. fly to the right and talk to the girl in the green hat
to get what looks like an eye. Now go to the blue roofed house to the left to
get a watch-like item. Go back to Nobitas house and into the light, you now
have the option to go into the Future.

iii. Future

Go into the future and go to the right until you find a door with a flashing
yellow symbol, enter it. Defeat the boss to get what looks like a credit card.
Go back to the starting area and change your character to Suneo. Climb up to
the door by using the chains. Enter the door and go through this level until
you find the door with the flashing yellow symbol on it. Defeat the boss in
here to get what looks like a handkerchief. Enter the door to go back to the
starting area. Change your character to Doraemon and enter the door directly
to the right of the INN. Make your way through this level by digging down to
the door with the flashing yellow symbol. Enter the door and defeat the boss
to get some sort of red circlet. From the starting area go to the left to the
large metal gate. Now keep going left to reach a level. Complete this level by
going through the door with the flashing yellow symbol. Enter this door and
beat the boss. Afterwards you will be at the Castle.

iv. Castle

Go to the right and after talking to the floating eyes you will go to a level.
Go through this level until you find another door with the flashing yellow
symbol, enter it. Defeat the boss to rescue Suneo. Back at the starting point
change your character to Nobita and go to the left and enter the door that the
floating eyes are hovering over. In this level you can float on the bubbles.
Enter the door with the flashing yellow symbol at the end. Enter it. You'll
have to defeat this boss twice. Once he is defeated then you will have rescued
Shizuka. At the starting area go to the right to enter a level. Make your way
to the bottom and enter the door. You'll have to fight the boss three times
now, having level three weapons helps a lot here. After he is gone you will
have rescued Jyian. Now at the starting area go to the right and enter the
door below the floating eyes. You might want to change your character to
Shizuka because you have to race the rising water to the top and her ability
to fly will come in handy. After that level you have to make your way up to
the top of the tower to face a level boss. A lot of extra lives will come in
handy here as will Shizukas flying ability in case he knocks you off.
Afterwards you will be in the Ruined City.

v. Ruined City

There is nothing but an INN here. Go to the right and eventually you will come
across a hard boss and have to fight it as Suneo. A little farther right you
will have to fight another boss as Jyian. A little farther right you will have
to fight a boss as Shizuka. Then you will have to fight a boss as Nobita, this
one is much easier in my opinion. Then finally you will have to fight a boss as
Doraemon. After this boss fight you will have to fight a boss in a tank with
all five characters.
