2. Introduction
*************************
Hello whoever is reading this now. This is my very first
Faq/Walkthrough ever. I decided to write this Faq because I really enjoy
this game and there is only one Faq/Walkthrough already.
The game starts out as Max and Goofy are fishing. When they are fishing
their pals Pete and PJ are kidnapped by a mysterious pirate ship. They are
taken to Spoonerville Island. Goofy and Max follow the ship determined to
catch it. Max and Goofy are unsuccesful but land on the island and are in
search of Pete and PJ.

4. Level 1

The game starts out with a short dialogue -
"It was a great day for fishing in Sponnerville, so Goofy and his pals headed
out to the ocean with their boats."
"Cruising for the big ones in open water, Pete and Pj were suddenly caught in
the ominous shadow of a gigantic ship."
"When Goofy an Max looked up, they saw a huge pirate ship heading out to
Spoonerville Island. Pete and PJ were onboard, victims of a Pirate kidnapping.
"Goofy rowed for all he was worth, but he couldn't catch up to the pirate
ship before it landed on the island. Determined to rescue their friends,
Goofy and Max set out to explore the island and find the pirate stronghold."
Now you can choose which character you would like to play as. Personally in 1
player I will always choose Goofy because he is stronger and can kill enemies
in one hit.
Once you are on the island talk to the man in front of you. Now head right
and grab the cherries and the hookshot. Turn around and go left. Now on the
screen you first started go up. On this screen grab all of the plants and
barrels and try to kill all the enemies. Use your hookshot and grab the
barrel in the top left corner. Push the closest star block to the right.
Push the next block up. Push the block on the far left to the left. Push the
block on the far right, right. Now push the middle block right. Grab all the
items and leave.
Go to the screen that had the cherries and hookshot and go
up. On this screen pick up the coconuts and kill the pirates, then move up.
Now kill the snake with your hookshot then go upwards. On this screen first
kill the bee, then push the block on the far right onto the imprint of a star
in the ground. This should open the gate on the far right. Go through and
get the board. Go back to the screen with the snake and two pirates. Go right.
Now on this screen grab the barrels and kill all the pirates, then go up.
Place the board down to complete the bridge, then go up.
On this screen first kill all the big pirates, then go back to the bottom and
use your hookshot to grab the plants. After you have the plants use your
hookshot again and get the banana and continue and go up. Now for your first
puzzle. Follow the steps on the map.

After you put the blocks in the star imprints the gate will open. Grab the
key then head back to the area with the 3 block, 3 imprints, and the bee.
Push the block at the top downward. On this screen grab the shovel and dig
the area at the top right corner. After you are finished grab whatever you
dropped to get the shovel. Head back to the screen with the bee and the
blocks. Push the block on the far left down and then go left through the
gate. Kill all the pirates and porcipines and get the red diamond. Use the
silver key you got on the door. On this screen kill all the pirates and go
through the right gate. Kill only the pirate then go through the top. Now for
another puzzle.

Good work, get the key and head back to the screen with three pirates. Kill
all of them and go up. On this screen you will need a LOT of skill. First
move the bottom block left then down. Now grab the fruit and switch your key
with the bell. Get as close as you can to the key you dropped and use the
bell. When all of the pirates have come to you push the block and kill them.
Grab the key you dropped and open the door.
*** BOSS ***
Ok, this is the easiest boss ever your thinking. All your have to do is grab
barrels on the right and left and throw it at them. When you run out of
barrels push B and you can now catch what they throw. So catch the bombs and
barrels ONLY (You can't catch the spikey balls). Keeping throwing stuff at
them and you will eventually win.

5. Level 2

When you first start level 2 there is 2 pirates. Kill them both and look
through the other barrels to see if there is any fruit. Now go up two screens
and you will face another puzzle.

|| || First push B3 up. Now push B2 over to B1, then

Good work! Go through the gate onto the next screen. On this screen grab the
hookshot and go up. On this screen you will face a new enemy. He is a Pirate
that is green. Be careful because he can throw swords at you! First kill the
green pirate and stand on one of the silver hooks and use your hookshot. This
should create a bridge so you can now walk over. Leave this area. On the
screen with the two pirates and the porcipine move left. Here you will meet
another new enemy. This is a big purple pirate. These pirates can
push the star block so watch out. Grab the board and head back to the area
you used your hookshot to create a bridge. Kill the green pirate and use your
board to complete the bridge. Grab the silver key and the hookshot. Use the
hookshot to grab the blue diamond.
Go back to the screen with the big purple pirates. Kill all of the pirates
the move up. Now on this screen use your hookshot to kill all the
snakes. Move up onto the next screen. Now heres a good place Goofy comes in
handy. Goofy can kill the Pirates with only one throw of a plant or barrel.
So on this screen throw the two plants and kill the first two purple pirates.
Now push the green block in the top left corner up, then push it right. Move
to the next screen. Kill all the green pirates and use the silver key you
got erliar. Stay on this screen and make a bridge with your
hookshot and grab the other silver key. Now go up onto the next screen.
Here is another puzzle and this one is pretty hard because the pirates can
mess you up.

Hurry and go through the gate. Now when the cannons shot bombs at you, pick
them up and throw them back at the cannons. When you have destroyed one
cannon run through the spiked logs that are moving sideways. When you have
made it to the other side go in front of the other cannon and hold your arms
up. Catch the bombs and destroy the other cannon. Go right. On this screen
you can recover health by getting the fruit under barrels. Also grab the
hookshot because you will need it later on. When you have
lifted all the barrels go back. Use your key on the door and go up. First
use the barrel in front of you and kill the green pirates. Then grab the
shovel and start digging. When you have finished digging replace the master
key with the shovel and move right. Push the closest block right then use
your hookshot to make a bridge. On the other side push the bottom most barrel
left the push the far left barrel up. use your hookshot and push the switch
to open the door and move up. Now you will meet a new enemy, the green
pirate! These enemies roll up into a ball and roll very fast towards you.
On the screen with the two green pirates start walking up. When a pirate
starts to roll hurry and move into the side areas so they can't hit you.
repeat until you get to the top. Use your master key and go upwards.
*** BOSS ***
This guy is very tough! First use the four barrels that are already their.
Watch out for his long flame. Now when you have used the four barrels. Two
pirates will come and throw barrels at you. Grab the barrels they throw and
hit the boss with them. Here is how I beat him. When he does his long flame
I get behind him and throw the barrels at him. When he stops his long flame
he will start swinging a torch at you. Hurry and run backwards. Soon he
will start his long flame again. Hurry and get behind him and start throwing
more barrels. Repeat till he dies.

6. Level 3

When you start out there is no where to go. In the corner though, is a switch
press this and bridge will be made. Move up. Now when a cannon ball moves
past run and get into a place where the cannon balls cannot hit you. Try and
get to the door on the right. In here watch out for the pirates and get the
key then move up and open the door. In here are three bats kill them and grab
the goodies. Head back to the area with the cannon balls. Move up. In this
room is three ghosts. Use the plants and kill the ghosts, then grab a plant
and throw it at the middle mirror. Go through and grab the fruit. Head back
to the area with the cannon balls. Head left from here. In this room is four
switches. All you have to do is hit them. Watch out for the spikes and the
knight in armor. When you have hit all the switches move up.
In this area it is very dark and you can hardly see anything. Navigate your
way area. When you come out you will find an area were you can dig. If you did
not find the shovel it is in the area where it is dark. When you are finished
digging head right. In this room are two green pirates. Grab the pots and
kill them. Head right. In this room are four spike balls that move. Hurry
and run past them and enter the stairs. In this room at lots of armors. Do
not worry about them. Grab one of the pots that is in your way and run past
the knights. Hurry and grab the three pots that re in your way. Grab the
board and head through the door. Also if you want a extra continue and life
grab a pot and throw it at the cracks in the wall. It should break. head in
and grab the goodies. Now in the next area is a cannon and cannon balls
moving on the ground. First take out the cannon then navigate your way
through the cannon balls that are rolling around. On the next screen are four
pirates. First use your board and complete the bridge. walk across and push
the star block right and kill three pirates. Grab the board then kill the
other pirate with a pot. Make another bridge then grab the silver key.
In the next area there are big cannon balls that come at you. So hurry and
get to the door on the left side. Open it with your key and head through. In
the next area are four pirates. Kill them and grab the key. Open the door
with the key and head through. Read the note in this area if you want and
head up the stairs. Now in this area are four letters. These letters are
O E P N. Now what can you spell with O E P N? Try and hit the letters in
this order O-P-E-N. Now head through the door you just opened. In the next
room are four buttons. You have to push them in a certain order though. The
order is top right corner, bottom left corner, top left corner, and bottom
right corner. Now head through the door and watch out for the pirates in this
area. Kill all of them and use your key you already had from the area with
O-P-E-N. After you use your key grab the other one right behind you.
In this new area is three prirates. Kill them and then make a bridge and grab
the other key. Use one of your keys on the door. Head back to the previous
area and grab the hookshot. Now head back to the stairs and go up them. In
this area is 2 pirates and a moving platform. Kill the pirates, make a bridge
with your hookshot, then stand on the platform and move to the other side. Open
the door and walk through. This new area is dark and has two pirates in it so
watch out. Navigate your way through this area and then go through the door.
In this area is two cannons. Destroy both of them and the door on the right
should open. Head through it to the next room. In this room kill the pirates
and grab the master key, then walk up the stairs. In this room are two
pirates. Ignore them and run as fast as you can to the door. Open it and head
through.
*** BOSS ***
These two skeletons are very easy. Try and kill the one on the right first.
To defeat them, all you have to do is watch out for the bones they throw. When
the bones drop on the ground pick them up and throw them at the skeleton.
When you have attacked them enough they will take off their head at throw it
at you. When they do this pick up a bone and throw it at their head. Kill
both of them and you win.

7. Level 4

In level 4 you start out in what is like a cave. In the first room is two
pirates. Kill these pirates with the barrels and go left. Now for yet
another puzzle.

|| || First, move B4 up, right, up. Move B2 up then left. Move

Good Work! Now exit this room and go back to where you started. Run past the
two pirates and go into the newly opened door. Watch out for the pirates
throwing barrels at you. When they throw them at you catch them and throw it
back at them. when you have killed all the pirates go up into the next room.
In the next room is three pirates. If they throw any barrels at you grab them
and throw it back at them. When you have killed every pirate go right and
leave this room. In the next room is another puzzle.

B3 || Push B3 up. Push () up then left. Hurry and run to B1
B2 and push it Right. Go back to () and push it up then
() right. When it blows up go and grab your two lives.
Go right and leave this room. This next room is covered in ice so you will
slide. In this room are many switches. To make the door at the top open you
must hit the switches very fast. When you do this go up and leave this room.
In the next room is one pirate that can throw barrels. When you get in this
room Don't move, but stay and lift your hands up so you can catch the barrrel.
When you catch the barrel throw it at the pirate and go left and leave the
room. The next room is dark and there is one pirate so watch out where you
are going. Get the red and blue diamond then leave. Go to the room with the
pirate and go up and leave this room. In the next room is four big pirates.
Watch out for the red one because he can breath fire. Kill all the pirates
and go up and leave this room. The next room looks exactly the same as the
one before. So do the same thing I wrote for the one before. When you have
killed all the pirates go up and leave this room. Ignore the puzzle in here
and go right. In this room is a pretty obvious puzzle so I am not going to
explain it. When you finish the puzzle go right. In this room is four
pirates and some blocks you can move. First move the block on the right left.
Grab the bell in the right and ring it. The pirates should start to follow
you where you go. Run down to the block you moved a push it up killing all of
the pirates. Go up to the opened door and leave this room. In this next room
watch out for the pirates that can roll. First go into the space where the
pirate can't hit you. Run out of it and make him roll at you then grab a
barrel and throw it at him. Do this to the other one. Grab some of the
barrels and kill the two snakes. Now pass the pirate in the top corner and
he should grab a barrel and throw it at you. Grab it and kill him. Leave
this room.
This next room should look like one you have been in before. Kill the pirates
and go through the top door. In this next room is lots of boulders dropping
down. Look at where the boulders drop and run to the middle spot to be safe.
Repeat until you make it to the door. This next room looks hard but is very
easy. Kill both of the pirates and remove all of the barrels. Run back to
the green block and push it left. Run through course and then push the block
up and then left. This will open the door, go into the door to the next room.
In this room is two pirates and four switches. All you have to do is hit the
switches. Ignore the room on the left and hit the switches. This should open
the door. The next room is a puzzle but in the dark.

In this room there are four big, green pirates. Try and push the left star
block up and then push it left. Lure the other two pirates close to the right
star block and then push it right. When you kill all the pirates the top door
should open. In the next room in a big waterfall. Ignore it for now and go
right. Now for yet another puzzle. When you first get into this room, push
the yellow block down, left, down, right. Exit the room, then re-enter it.

This should make the waterfall go away. Use your hookshot and make a bridge.
Go through and kill the four pirates with the barrels that are there. This
will break the door at the top. Go through and prepare!
*** BOSS ***
The boss is two catapillers. Before the catapillers come out spikes fall from
the top of the cave. Pick up the spikes and throw it at one of the
catapillers heads. When you throw a spike and it hits the catapiller move out
of the way because it will run at you. Repeat until one is dead then kill the
other one.
NOTE: ALWAYS move around before the spikes fall from the top of the cave
because one will always fall where you are standing.
NOTE 2: Be careful because you can fall off the edge.

8. Level 5

Check the barrels then go up the bridge to get on the boat. Kill all the
pirates then go right. First take out the cannon here, then go for the
pirates. Move the block that is blocking you, push the block on the
bottom right, then push the block you first pushed up. Grab the hookshot
and make a bridge with it. Cross and go down the stairs.
In this next room is 4 pirates. Do not worry about them and run down and hit
the arrow switch. This will make barrels come out. Use these barrels and
kill all of the pirates. Now hit the switch in the top left corner. Leave
this room and go up. In the next room is another puzzle. Push the block
right, up, right, up right. Go through the doors into the next room. In this
room are some cannons and three pirates. Grab the bell at the corner and try
to move the pirates into the cannons line of fire. Kill all the pirates and
grab the hookshot. Go into the room on the right and kill all the pirates
and grab the fruit in there. Go down into the next room. In this room is a
moving platform. Go onto the moving platform and cross to the other side.
Grab some barrels and throw them at the pirates. When you kill all of them go
down the stairs. Use your hookshot to create a bridge. Go into the door on
left.

Go through the door. Grab the hookshot and shot it at the barrels. When you
have a barrel throw it at the switch. Repeat. Go through the top door. It
is dark in this room and there are two pirates. Grab some barrels and kill
the two pirates. Go to the top right corner and exit this room. In the next
room is only one pirate and a switch. Taunt the pirate and guide him through
the crates. When he gets near the switch move left and make him hit the
switch. This will open the door, grab a barrel then kill him. Grab the
hookshots and go back to the last puzzle. Now move right and exit this room.
Make a bridge with you hookshot. Go through the top door. Now for another
puzzle.

Push B1 up. Push B2 right. Push B2 and B3 up.

Grab the key and leave. Go back to the room with the net bridges and the
two switches. Go left from here. In this room Ignore the bottom door.
Push the two bottom blocks left. Run through and push the next bottom block
left. Make a bridge with your hookshot and walk up. Push the block closest
to you right. Open the door with your key. Now you are in another dark room.
Make your way up to the top left corner. Grab the master key and head to the
bottom left corner. Go up the stairs. In this room is a platform that has
various buttions on it. Step on the button you want and it will go in the
direction it points to. Make you way across and grab the hookshot. Exit
this room. Be careful where you step in this room. The holes in this room
are always moving so stay close to the wall. Make your way across the room
to the right side. Go through the door. Grab a barrel in the corner of this
room and throw it at the switch. Get on the moving platform and cross the
gap. Use your key and grab the hookshot here. Go up the stairs. In this
room are three cannons destroy the first two in the top right and bottom left
corner. Make a bridge with one of your hookshots. Destroy the last cannon
and make another bridge to walk across. Now for the hardest puzzle.
Excellant Work Yall! Now move onto the next room. In this room are four
pirates and a cannon in the middle. Push the arrow buttons to make the
cannon move. Push the golden button to shoot the cannon. Kill all the
pirates and the door will open.
*** BOSS ***
This guy is TOUGH! Watch out for his hook. Always try to stay behind him.
When he spins and gives you bombs, pick them up and throw them at him.
Also watch out for his cannon arm. When he does this he shots out a ball.
This ball explodes into four more balls that come at you very fast.
Sometimes he lets two pirates to come in and attack you. Well you think
this is bad huh? NO! It works to your advantage. When he does this he
doesn't attack, but he gives you bombs. So kill one of the pirates and then
never kill the other one. He will keep giving you bombs. Attack him with the
bombs until he dies. Watch out for the one pirate that is chasing you though.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!

11. FAQ

1. Q - Who should I pick, Max or Goofy?
A - In my opinion, Goofy is much better, because he can kill the enemies a
lot faster.
2. Q - I CAN'T BEAT KEELHAUL PETE!
A - Stay calm, just keep practicing. It took me a few continues the first
time I fought him. Use my Strategy, wait until he calls the two
pirates, kill one of them and let one live. Grab the bombs and only
throw them at Pete not at the other pirate.
3. Q - Are their any sercets?
A - No, there are not.
4. Q - What is the difference between Max & Goofy?
A - Max is faster and Goofy is stronger.
5. Q - Why are you writing this?
A - Because I am bored and I wanted to contribute to the Incrediable
GameFAQS.
6. Q - Your password's don't work!
A - Check to see if you are putting in the right things, because I know
my password's are correct.
12. Hint's and Tip's
**********************
1. Always check under every barrel on the screen. When you look under barrels
there is a very good chance it will have fruit under it.
2. When fighting Jester's always keep your hands up. When you do this you
will have a 100% chance of not getting hit!
3. Use the bell! The bell is very under-rated. This can get you out of some
VERY sticky situations.
4. If you are playing 1 player and have one hookshot and find another pick it
up. You might need it for later and if you don't need it you can always
exchange it for something else.
5. Know you enemies! Read the enemies FAQ to find out what your enemy does.
If you know what your enemy does you can easily dodge it and then counter.
