1- Introduction
------------------------------------------
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(Note: As with my other guides, a minimum of research was done on this
part)
Cyber Knight was designed for the Super Famicom in 1993 by Tonkinhouse
in Japan only. Sadly, this means that American and English game players
hardly know anything about this game. In November 2001, Aeon Genesis
Translations put together a full English translation of the game. A
great game by nearly all standards (if you're one of those "graphics
make the game" jackasses, go away), it must be played to be truly
understood. If you haven't downloaded the game yet, go to
www.edgeemu.com and grab any emulation equipment you don't yet have to
play this game. The translation is found at agtp.romhack.net. A small
warning: this guide contains some foul language and crappy attempts at
humor. With that said, let's get to business.
2- Walkthrough
------------------------------------------
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Basic Info: When I say "# SYSTEM", that means you should visit this star
system #th (ie, FOURTH SYSTEM, visit it 4th). When I say "# planet", it
means this is the #th planet in this system. Under the planet
descriptions, Items are things you'll find ON THAT VISIT to this planet.
Enemies are what you'll run into on said planet.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
FIRST SYSTEM- RABAS
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Fourth Planet- Farworld
Items- Monople Coil (activates Jump Drive)
Star Map (lets you see solar system)
Enemies- Fargolta
              Scylla
              Gremlin
              Replahorn
              Bigfoot
              Rahkshasa (boss)
------------------------------------------
NORTHWEST
Congratulations! You're alive. The bad news: you and your crew are
stranded. Sucks to be you. I'm going to play Front Mission now...

You're still here? Alright, I'll help you. Walk to the town. Talk to the
people, and enter the only building you can. After talking to the
Professor, (can't he make a Monople Coil out of coconuts or something?)
go talk to the President of Farworld. You can leave, but you have to
find the damn Coil first. To get the Coil, enter the Europa with Vynd in
your party, head through the door below you, walk 2 tiles to the right,
head down 3 tiles, enter the bridge (note the OLD videoplayer. this is
vital later.), head south into the hall, go through the door to the
right, enter the 2nd door to the south and proceed through the room,
continue to the end of this hall, walk through the ruined tiles, head
north at the first door, head left, up, take the right door in the room
with 4 exits, head through at the only door there and continue through,
enter the next door over, head south and enter the double doors at the
end of the hall. Ta-da! Now that you have your Monople Coil, leave. For
little EXP, head through the door next to the engine room. For more,
retrace your steps. You have two choices now. Go explore the cosmos, or
save Farworld. To explore, go on to the next galaxy in the guide,
Worldring. Otherwise, keep reading.

SOUTH
Enter dome. Navigate halls. Most importantly, DESTROY THE CORE! (2
people just got that joke.) That's it. Head to the city, talk to
everyone, and you're off!

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
SECOND SYSTEM- WORLDRING
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Third Planet- Rarbun
Items- none
Enemies- none
------------------------------------------

The only peaceful planet in the game. Amazing. Talk to everyone, sober
or not, and get some quests. Head off for some Red Crystal, because your
Jump Drive is piss-poor.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
THIRD SYSTEM- MEPSEDE
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
First Planet- Rayline
Items- Monument1Data (plot crap)
Red Crystal (trade for Jump upgrade)
Enemies- Gizmo
              Blopp
              Farjalg
              Minaton
------------------------------------------

Walk up to the black pyramid. Keep following this path to the Red
Crystal. Return to the Swordfish, and then Rarbun.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
FOURTH SYSTEM- WORLDRING
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Third Planet- Rarbun
Items- Jump Booster (can jump diagonally)
------------------------------------------

Talk to the Trader who wanted Red Crystal. Head to another place.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
FIFTH SYSTEM- KURGEL
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Second Planet- Janth
Items- Old Videodisc (recieve scorched monument data)
          Sculpture (trade for autotranslator)
Enemies- Megatops
              Arachnsaur
              Quadrotops
              Fargolta
              Catoblepa
              Zaradan
              Replahorn
              Hydra (boss)
------------------------------------------

Head to the ruin above you. Oops. No monument data for you yet. Head
south to the ruined shuttle. Take the Old Videodisc and leave. Head for
the cave near the ruined monument. Try not to stay around these people
too long, who nos wat mite happn...? Head to the river south of their
cave. Cross to the open spot, and what do we find? A Berserker dome!
Enjoy a nice quick killing spree in this place. Bring Vynd along, and go
to the corners of the force field (the little squares with plus symbols
on them) to free the cavemen. Now talk to the chief of the cavemen. Head
off on a few sidequests before the next real mission.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
SIXTH SYSTEM- RABAS
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Fourth Planet- Farworld
Items- Monument2Data (plot crap)
Enemies- none
------------------------------------------

Head to the Europa's wreck and use the Old Videodisc in the Video Deck.
Leave.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
SEVENTH SYSTEM- WORLDRING
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Third Planet- Rarbun
Items- Autotranslator (translates everything said to you {sometimes with
French accents})
Enemies- none
------------------------------------------

Give the Sculpture to the Trader who asked for it. Leave.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
EIGHTH SYSTEM- ALVIN
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Fourth Planet- Seecla
Items- none
Enemies- none
------------------------------------------

Now that you have an Autotranslator, talk to the robot in the halls.
Boo-hoo. Leave for now.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
NINTH SYSTEM- LANCARD
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Second Planet- Jarzela
Items- Joyful Song (trade for info)
Enemies- Mellow
              Bahamut
              Selki
              Guncanner
              Devil Eye
              Evil Eye
              Replahorn
              Bigfoot
              Sasquatch
              LiananSea
              NightGant (boss)
------------------------------------------

Welcome to the hangover planet, the only place you can see pink whales.
A quick tip: don't use any heat weapons here. Work your way through this
maze, and find another damn Berserker dome. You'll face the usual
(Replahorn, Bigfoot), and some new freaks, including a boss. There's a
trick here. Go to the NE corner of the place, and use the door leading
outside. Hug the wall and go to the left until you find another door. Go
in and destroy the core. Get the song and then bring in Shine to examine
that database you found. You've got a new mission!

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
TENTH SYSTEM- WORLDRING
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Third Planet- Rarbun
Items- none
Enemies- none
------------------------------------------

Talk to the Trader who asked for the Joyful Song. Now talk with the rest
of the traders. Leave after you get some new quests.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
ELEVENTH SYSTEM- FH154
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Second Planet- Oribor (huh?)
Items- Black Cube
Enemies- Harpy
              LiananSea
              NightGant
              Zaraban
              Mandrake
              Clulahorn
              Salamander
              Kraken (boss)
------------------------------------------

Might as well give that Trader kid some cash, and maybe... WHAT THE
HELL? Yet another killfest with the Berserkers. Same as always, find
dome, enter dome, destroy core. Well, make that enter SHIP. Head for the
SW corner of the mission area. When entering the ship, head left. After
that, it's pretty easy. After you've killed the boss, you'll learn some
interesting things. You'll be told where every monument is. You have the
first two (if not, go to Mepsede 1 & Kurgel 2), and the others are on
Tarkings 3 (the pirates home base, one less place to hunt down) and Hew
1, underground. Also, something known as the Black Cube is in the FH154
system. Now, there are no enemies. Head to the NW corner and enter
another hut. Fall through some holes and use some stairs to find the
missing "Black Cube". Leave this system now.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
OPTIONAL SYSTEM- SHABRON
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Second Planet- Shermua
Items- none
Enemies- ??? (many varieties)
------------------------------------------

Most RPGs have at least one town where you'll learn about a character's
past. In this game, you get a planet to learn about anyone you bring
with you. Keep going here for some EXP when most planets run out of
enemies. You don't even have to come here, but if you need any EXP to
complete something, come here and enter the building in town.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
TWELFTH SYSTEM- WORLDRING
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Third Planet- Rarbun
Items- none
Enemies- still none
------------------------------------------

Talk to the Trader who's son was on Oribor. He'll get you into Merinx 2.
Head there now, and prepare for some real fun.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
THIRTEENTH SYSTEM- MERINX
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Second Planet- Hark
Items- Nega-Ball (Equip)
Enemies- Bigfoot
              Gorgon
              Ganesha
              Replahorn
------------------------------------------

Time to hunt down those Berserker weapons! Really nothing hard here.
Just enter ship, find the Nega-Ball, and leave.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
FOURTEENTH SYSTEM- ORIBOR
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
First Planet- Kwagi
Items- Pyroworm Fang (trade for Disintegrator)
Enemies- Wisp
              Blue Wisp
              Siliconny
              Pyroworm (boss)
------------------------------------------

Walk around and follow a path until a monster called Pyroworm attacks.
Kill it and leave.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
FIFTEENTH SYSTEM- WORLDRING
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Third Planet- Rarbun
Items- Disintegrator (Option)
Enemies- once again, none
------------------------------------------

Talk to the man who asked for a Pyroworm fang, and get a great weapon.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
SIXTEENTH SYSTEM- TARKINGS
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Fifth Planet- Libra
Items- none
Enemies- Pirate
              P. Captain
------------------------------------------

Damn, this place is tiny! Head into the Trader ship (the middle ship of
the three). Find and rescue the Traders on your way to the core of the
ship. The Pirates are pathetic, so hit the captain first. Now leave.
Quickly.

------------------------------------------
Fourth Planet- Mondolton
Items- Monument3Data (plot crap)
Enemies- Pirate
              P. Captain
              P. King (boss)
------------------------------------------

Head into the cave, the ship does nothing. Wander around until you find
the boss. Oookayyy.... None of the pirates, save this guy, are even
remotely tough, so just bring weapons that hit multiple targets along.
That wasn't so hard, was it? Now that nobody's here, look at the black
monument.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
SEVENTEENTH SYSTEM- WORLDRING
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Third Planet- Rarbun
Items- New Jump Eng (can jump to any system from anywhere)
Enemies- yet again, none
------------------------------------------

Talk to the guy who was being robbed by pirates for a Jump upgrade.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
EIGHTEENTH SYSTEM- SELRYD
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Fourth Planet- Gordik
Items- none
Enemies- Banshee
              Spangle
              Jabbawock
              Jugganaut
              Clulahorn
              Bigfoot
              Rahkshasa
              Chupon (boss)
------------------------------------------

Head into the city, where there are random encounters. You've been
warned. Head for the center of the town. Here's the deal. Every corner
of the town except for the one you entered by has a dome. The NE dome
will have the true core in it. Every dome has the same layout, but
different doors will open. For the first time, a boss enemy will return
as a common encounter on this planet. However, you're stronger, while
the Rahksasha enemy has stayed the same.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
NINTEENTH SYSTEM- HEW
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
First Planet- Albados
Items- Monument4Data (plot crap)
Enemies- Hellhound
              Chaugner
              Sea Orc
              R. Raver
              Reptant
              Tashblom
              R. Royal
              RockCrawl
              Ganosaur
------------------------------------------

Only one excavation site is the real one, so head W from where you
start. The lower cave you can see when you leave the ship is the right
one. This maze is a bitch. In my opinion, this is harder than the final
area to navigate. All you're doing here is hunting for the monument, and
then hauling ass out of this hellhole. WARNING: During the maze area of
this planet, if you find a creature named RockCrawl, FLEE!!! They appear
in groups of 3-5, hit hard, and have 200 HP EACH! Only when truly
desperate should you fight one of these things.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
TWENTIETH SYSTEM- GANZEN
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Sixth Planet- Vyri
Items- PSIamp (enhances telepathy)
Enemies- Tashblom
              Barghest
              Seamonk
              Hydra
              Bigfoot
              NightGant
              Gandalva (boss)
------------------------------------------

Bring Nehjena along for this quest. Once you find the lizard-man and get
the PSIamp, you can leave. Nuke the core as you leave.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
TWENTY-FIRST SYSTEM- BYTON
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Second Planet- Ricrasse
Items- none
Enemies- none
------------------------------------------

Talk to the robots and discover why the Berserkers are so damn looney.
Leave.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
TWENTY-SECOND SYSTEM- ZANTAR
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Sixth Planet- Garais
Items- B. Globe Data (create Black Globe)
Enemies- none
------------------------------------------

Talk to the red Garaian at the bottom of the cave. Leave for Seecla.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
TWENTY-THIRD SYSTEM- ALVIN
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Fourth Planet- Seecla
Items- Black Globe (Field)
Enemies- none
------------------------------------------

Give the robot the B. Globe Data. Now talk to the robot, his master, and
the Mayor. Quest time.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
TWENTY-FOURTH SYSTEM- YORN
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Fourth Planet- Sraule
Items- none
Enemies- none
------------------------------------------

Use the "World Info" command above the planet to summon an island. Land
and talk with Sraule. Return to Seecla.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
TWENTY-FIFTH SYSTEM- ALVIN
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Fourth Planet- Seecla
Items- G-Wave Comm (talk with Mentana)
Enemies- none
------------------------------------------

Talk to the robot's owner. Head for the SgrAWest system.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
TWENTY-SIXTH SYSTEM- SGRAWEST
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Mentana
------------------------------------------

Select "World Info", like you did at Sraule. Head for ICE 5.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
TWENTY-SEVENTH SYSTEM- ICE 5
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Dark Horizon/Berserker Fleet
------------------------------------------

Again, select "World Info" and watch. Then curse. Afterwards, leave for
Gordik.

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
TWENTY-EIGHTH SYSTEM- SELRYD
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Fourth Planet- Gordik
Items- none
Enemies- none
Armadas of Battleships- one
------------------------------------------

Ask for the Space Army's help, then return to the Dark Horizon

------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
FINAL SYSTEM- ICE 5
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Dark Horizon/Berserker Fleet (M. Ship)
Enemies- Dullahan
              Ganosaur
              Brownie
              LiananSea
              Wendigo
              Queen (final boss)
------------------------------------------

Save. Equip everyone with their final equipment. Make sure you've
repaired and healed. You can't leave once you land here. Finally, select
"World Info" and watch.  Head into combat. This place isn't too bad.
Kill anything that attacks. Kill the Queen (easier said than done). To
do this, find the core, suffer through some horrible insults ("I'll burn
your soul!"), and attack. If you fought just one group of RockCrawls,
this is pathetically easy. The only real problem is the fact that the
Queen is immune to most weapons. Just switch until you get it right. The
best thing for me was Flea (my main character), Kiri, and Vynd in their
default robots using regular weapond on the Dullahans, and every missile
(Option) I could until she fell. Afterwards, save, do anything else you
want to (talk to anybody, level up for a reason beyond me, etc.), and go
to Mentana for the ending.

4- Enemy Info

NOTES: Enemy names are alphabetized. Some enemy Neoparts, when collected
repeatedly, give new items when studied.  Organic enemies have no
Neoparts (or at least, none I found as of this moment) The "Neoparts

a boss in the above lists will ALWAYS, without fail, drop its Neoparts
(when applicable), since you'll only face one in the game in most cases.
If the Neoparts make listing says ?? and not (none?) then it means I
know that the creature in question has Neoparts. If you find any

Mica 9000
At various points in battles, Mica, the ship's computer, will tell you
things. Usually they're helpful enemy facts, but sometimes Mica goes HAL
9000 on you and says things that make you worry about your crew's
safety... These include "I want a vacation!", "Even I make mistakes
sometimes.", "I envy the fact that you can feel pain.", "You aren't
fighting properly!", and my favorite, "Call the wizard?"
