Charm is Chrono Trigger's unique term for "steal".  You basically  charm your
enemies into giving up items for your benefit. The success rate is initially
pretty high, but you can boost it even higher by equipping Ayla with an
accessory called "Charm Top". When you begin a new game, you will not be able
to charm items until after Ayla has joined your party. This ability is
available only when Ayla is in your current party and can be used only by
her.

Certain items can be obtained only by charming them.  That's why this is such
a valuable skill. Once Ayla is in your party, you can return to old regions
you've already visited to charm rare items from the inhabitants there. This
list saves you the trouble of wondering what item you  will get from charming
a certain monster. Your only  job now is actually  going to that location and
charming the item. Good luck.

Also, keep in mind that I only list  the ones that actually possess  items to
charm. The ones that do not yield any items at all will be left out. If I'm
missing any charm items or an enemy that has a charm item, please let me know
by e-mailing me.
