The best Captain Tsubasa game I've seen up to the moment! As you explore
the game, you'll be able to play some new matches with players from all
over the world: you can play as Kojiro Hyuga, Lui Napoleon, Taro Misaki,
Gino Hernandez, Carlos Santana, Schneider, Wakabayashi, Wakashimazu,
Dutter Muller and as Japan in 3 special matches, against Canarias (better
than it seems), Japan (to see if you play better than the console ^_^),
Ichigayak (what? Whoever they are, they worth nothing!) and finally you
can play as an edited team against the real Japan, with Shun Nitta and
everything!
Ho, and the legend about Genzo Wakabayashi works in this game, the Super
Great Goal Saver can stop almost every shot from outside the penalty
area.

0. Info on the manga/anime
In this section I'll display several info about every Captain Tsubasa manga or
anime, sorry if I take much time to update this but I still have to check most
of the info before posting it here.

0.1 Story of Captain Tsubasa

This manga talks about a boy who enjoys playing soccer more than anything in
his life. The story starts when he moves into a new city, where he meets
Ishizaki and the great goalkeeper Genzo Wakabayashi from the Shutetsu school,
the champion of Japan. After a individual confrontation between them, Tsubasa
meets Roberto Hongo, which will be his coach, and we assist to the great game
"Nankatsu vs. Shutetsu". In the middle of the game Taro Misaki arrives and he
will form the "Golden Combination" with Tsubasa, ending the game by 2-2.
Together they will play on a new team, Nankatsu (yeah, the same name but a
different team) and come up to the national championship, where they start by
losing against Meiwa (with Kojiro Hyuga and Takeshi Sawada in it) by 6-7, they
win to Tachibana Twins’ Hanawa (those two had a really strange but original way
of playing) by 3-2, to Nakanishi’s Naniwa by 5-1 and to Jun Misugi’s Mushashi
(he was really good, but had heart problems) by 5-4. So, the finals will be...
"Nankatsu vs. Meiwa" (again!), but this time it will be even more interesting
since both team have new goalkeepers, as Ken Wakashimazu for Meiwa and
Wakabayashi for Nankatsu (he was hurt, so he hadn’t play up to now; this will
be his last game, since he is going to Germany to became a professional
player), finishing this very long game by 4-2, Nankatsu winning. I shall
mention Nankatsu’s first goal, in which Misaki (this was his last game too,
since his father was going to move to another place) and Tsubasa shoot at the
same time, using an impressive technique that will be called "Twin Shot".
The story continues 2 years from that championship, during this time Tsubasa
won two other times the national championship and tries to win a third time,
feat never achieved by anyone else. After playing against Azuma-ichi, a team in
which a really rough player named Sõda plays (he damages Tsubasa), they play
against some old pals, like Hanawa (Tachibana twins used a new technique called
Skylab) and Tsubasa finally master a shot that will be his special, the Drive
Shot, against the giant Hiroshi Jito, who played for Hirado. On the finals they
play against Toho, a team from Tokyo in which Hyuga, Wakashimazu and Takeshi
now play. Well... sort of, the coach didn’t want Hyuga to play but he did it
after all, using his special, Tiger Shot. After another long game, it finishes
in a tie (4-4), being both teams called winner (in this national tournament
there aren’t any penalty kicks in the end of the games)...
Now the best players will go into the national team in order to play in an
international tournament in France. After some preparation matches, one of
which against Wakabayashi and Karl Heinz Schneider (the "Kaiser" of European
Soccer, both playing for Hamburg SV), they win to Italy and their "Perfect
Keeper" Gino Hernandez by 2-1 and to Argentina (with "soccer prodigy" Diaz and
his friend Pascual, Diaz was surely impressive but Japan's team work made them
win). After wining to France in the penalty kicks (5-4), they will finally play
to Germany, which includes Schneider (the "Kaiser"), Kartz, Magas (or Margus, I
prefer using the first one since it sounds me better), Schester and Dutter
Muller (a giant keeper), and they win by 3-2. Tsubasa goes to Brazil, to play
for San Paulo FC with his old coach from the times of early Nankatsu, Roberto
Hongõ. And this is where the first set of manga’s finish, after 37 chapters...

0.2 Story of Captain Tsubasa World Youth

This set of 18 chapters starts with the presentation of a new japanese
character named Aoi Shingo, who becomes a fan of Tsubasa after his team being
beaten by Nankatsu (Tsubasa's old team in Japan), so he goes to Italy in order
to be a better player. After much trouble, he gets to join Inter Milan, whose
goalkeeper is Gino Hernandez, who becomes Shingo's friend. Then, we get to see
the brazillian championship's final, Tsubasa against the brazillian prodigy,
Carlos Santana, who (like Tsubasa) is also able to learn some of the opponent's
techniques. At the same time, a plot from Gamo (a coach that now appears) is
unveiled... He made a team of seven players (Real Japan 7, if you are
wondering) that would confront the japanese nation team (split in 3 groups of 7
players), and if those last ones lost, 7 players would be thrown out of the
team. Sadly, they lost, so Hyuga, Misaki, Jitõ, Sõda, Nitta, Masao and Kazuo
Tachibana are thrown out of the team and Wakashimazu also leaves the team (he
says he doesn't want to be just a replacement for Wakabayashi), making harder
to Japan getting a win in the coming event, Asian Cup. With the help of Tsubasa
(that came back from Brazil) they manage to win the first two matches, but they
have a hard time against Thailand, since the 3 Konsawatto brothers are really
good at aerial soccer and Shinpurasu Bunnark (a tough defender who uses his
Muay-Thai skills in the field) can hurt Tsubasa, making him not able to attack.
Luckly, Wakabayashi arrives when the score was 4-1, and although he can't catch
any balls (he had both hands broken, due to shots of Levin and Cruyfford) he
manages to stop all of the opponent's shots, Shingo also appears and his
combinated moves with Tsubasa make Japan being able to win this match by 5-4.
During that time, the 7 players that were thrown out were training hard in
order to get new techniques, so Hyuga manages to develop one of the best shots
ever seen, the Rayju (if you are wondering, it is a thunder related beast from
japanese mythology) Shot. Due to those new techniques those players can (this
time) defeat R.J.7 and enter the national team in order to play in the Asian
Cup. They beat teams like Saudi Arabia (from whose captain, the prince Mark
Owaiaran, appears to be one of the best defenders ever), China (with a player
named Shõ that is able to counter most shots with his "Dragon Counter Shot")
and South Korea. By doing so, they get to join the World Cup (for players less
than 20 years old)... They start by playing against Mexico, whose great
goalkeeper, Ricardo Espadas, was able to stop Hyuga's Rayju Shoot, but despite
the difficulties they manage to beat them by 2-1. Against Uruguay, they have
another hard match, mainly because Ryoma Hino (the "Japanese Bomber", one of
R.J.7's players, who had double nationality) is also playing and his Tornado
Shot is great, finally they beat it by 6-5. Against Italy they have an easy
match since both Hernandez and Salvatore Gentile ("European Libero One") were
hurt due to Hino's Tornado Shot, and they win 4-0. On the quarters of final
they get to play against Sweden, who had great players like Larrson,
Fredericks, Brolin (a good defender who manages to stop Hyuga's Rayju Shot) and
Levin (yep, the same player who had injured Wakabayashi), but due to the
appearence of the impressive defender Akai Tomeiya (replacing Matsuyama, his
mate Fujisawa was in the hospital), who stops every of Levin's Levin Shot
(yeah, he has a technique with his name ^_^ ) they win 1-0. In the Half Finals
they get to play against Holland, their captain Brian Cruyfford (the other
player that injured Wakabayashi) was playing but UNFORTUNATELY we don't get to
see the match, for some "not interesting" reason, we only know that they won
1-0. Finally, they get to the World Cup's finals and they will be playing
against....... Brazil, whose coach is Roberto Hongo (Tsubasa's old coach at
Japan and Brazil), who says that Tsubasa wouldn't be able to win this time.
After a first half time in which Brazil was surely better than Japan, Santana
is able to score a goal to Wakabayashi. Japan counter with a great Twin
Overhead Shot by Tsubasa and Misaki's Golden Combination and even score another
goal with Seiki Rayju Shot (in which Rayju is used as a pass and Tsubasa and
Misaki shoot with a Twin Shot). When the match was almost over, Roberto uses
his secret player named Naturezza, who is even able to score a goal to
Wakabayashi FROM OUTSIDE THE GOAL AREA (!), making a tie. On the extra time the
hard match continues, but at the end Tsubasa finishes by surpassing the great
player Naturezza and scores a goal, making Japan win the World Cup (for player
that have less than 20 years old). We also get to know that Sanae and Tsubasa
get married and this last one goes to play for Barcelona, a spanish team, and
all the other players join other teams, mainly those of J-League, but some
(like Hyuga, who will play for Juventus) continue to play in their teams, like
Akai Tomeiya... And that's how those chapters of the manga finish.

1. Controls

If you have the ball the keys are left to pass, up to dribble, right to
shoot at goal and down to make a combination (you'll pass the ball to a
player and he will pass back). If you don't have the ball, left will be
to try to intercept the ball, up will tackle the opposite player, right
will block the opponent player (careful, you may get foul; however, you
will never get cards... :-) ) and down won't do anything (only useful if
your character is out of "energy"). You just need to press which side you
want to select and, if there is any "special", they will appear, followed
by the "energy" cost.
Another thing, if you pass the ball to a player when he is inside the
penalty area you will have to choose between sending the ball near the
ground (press down) or sky high (press up); be careful what you choose
because there are some special shots that will only be available at
certain ways, for example, by a low pass Hyuga (my favorite player, as
well, as Wakashimazu) can use a powerful Tiger Headshot, but if you send
the ball high maybe he can use his Tiger Overhead shot. Get it? It's easy
when you get used to it and a great way to score more goals.

2. Secret Abilities

For getting Ishizaki's new block, just play in the level against USA and
if you are lucky enough when Mihael uses his Holy Shot Ishizaki's face
will appear and he will learn this new block, costs the same energy as
the one you already have (400) but it is a lot more effective.
For getting Hyuga's Lightning Shot, just play in the story mode up to the
practice match in which Jito and the Tachibana Twins score on the
beginning (using Skylab Typhoon, if I'm not wrong), then start using
Hyuga and go strait to the keeper, eventually he will use his Tiger
Lightning Shot but Wakabayashi will punch it away (IMPORTANT: in this
level Tsubasa will FINALLY learn his Boost Cyclone Shot).
For Hyuga's Final Tiger Shot, one of the best shots in the game, just
have him confront Siniori in the match against Brazil, he will
automatically use that shot, which will blow Siniori away (maybe as a
revenge, in one of the special matches Hyuga's team gets beated by
Siniori's), the goalkeeper, make a hole in the net and even destroy part
of the stadium's wall... huh... impressive, don't you think?

3. How can I use Tsubasa's Boost Cyclone Shot?

If you already have Boost Cyclone Shot, how can you use it? It's easier
than it may seem, just use Hyuga's Tiger Pass or Soda's Kamisori Pass to
send the ball to Tsubasa when he is inside the penalty area, you will
have a new shoot option, it costs 500 of "energy" but it is worthy, use
it and you'll surely have a goal...But... be sure you already have it ( -_-
), you will only learn it in the practice match in which Jito and the
Tachibana Twins score on the beginning.

4. Walkthrough

To start playing, just pick the first option. In the beginning there will
be only 2 options but after saving you will get a new option between
those 2, that second option will be "Continue", which lets you continue
the game (...) and play the interesting extra matches.
You will start by playing an easy match with Nitta, and then play with
Tsubasa... Well, but making the real walkthrough... Sorry about most of
the names but I guess I'll translate them later on. Don't bother if you
lose a lot because you will level up and it will be easier next time.

                                       Portuguesa vs San Paulo
Just use Nitta (no.9) and Oliveira (no.8) to attack using their specials
and all the others to defend, it will be an easy match mainly because you
have a good Goalkeeper. Both  Nitta's Falcon Shot (the one which costs
330 "energy") and Oliveira's special shot can score from the middle of
the field, so USE THEM!

                                       Milan vs Lecce
As you may think, Tsubasa is your best player and, as always, he will be
no.10 . For a easy win, just try to move Tsubasa as close as you can to
the opponent's GK and pass him the ball high enough so he can perform his
well-known Overhead Shot. In the second half just pass the ball to
Mancini (no.7) and you will have a sure goal. Just be careful with the
opponent's no.9 because he has a shot which can blow your keeper away.
For better results, put your no.11 marking the opponent's no.9 .

                                       Genova vs Lecce
Just use Tsubasa (no.10) to attack as much as you can, their GK is good
but not enough for the Japanese prodigy! Overhead Shot will do the trick.

                                       Turin vs Lecce
This time, you just have to be careful because their no.9 has a good shot
which may cause you some trouble... it's better to put your no.11 marking
him.

                                       Roma vs Lecce
This is a good match... Their no. 10 has a good shot so be very careful,
because harder matches are yet to come... You may see a little event (for
an extra goal) if you pass the ball to your no.11 when he is inside the
opponent penalty area.

                                       Inter Milan vs Lecce
The first hard  match... If you are a Tsubasa fan you'll see an "old
friend", Dutter Muller, the GK of the German team. Since you won't be
able to score many goals, by now Tsubasa must have his new Overhead Drive
Shot which uses 250 "energy" so use it!

                                       Juventus vs Lecce
HOT! This time, you will be playing against Kojiro Hyuga (no.9) and Ken
Wakashimazu (GK), two of the best japanese players. Their no.10 will use
a special pass to send the ball to Hyuga, who will score most of the
times using his NeoTiger Shot... As for Wakashimazu, sometimes he will
use his special catch "Sankak" to stop your shots. Just try to use
Tsubasa's Overhead Drive Shot, it is the best shot you have by now. Well,
you can always depend on the Miracle Shot (which costs 190 "energy") but
it doesn't appear quite often...

                                       Sampdoria? vs Lecce
I don't believe you will need any help, just use Tsubasa again... No.6 is
a good overall player. If you still can't win, just use Mancini (no.7),
he can dribble even the opponent GK.

                                       Parma vs Lecce
Now, the final match of the calcio league. I don't know the opponent's
best player, I believe his name is Siniori (no.10)... Careful because his
only special shot is unstoppable, try to prevent him from ever getting
near your GK because Tsubasa will auto-stop Siniori's shot the first 3
times but then you will be on your own. Use Tsubasa to score, Mancini
(no.7) for backup and all the others to defend, they will surely be
needed. At the end Jun Misugi will appear to talk to Tsubasa.

                                       Japan Red vs Japan White
Just a practice match, before the Asian Cup. You will see most of those
famous players, except for Tsubasa, Hyuga, Wakabayashi and Wakashimazu,
who will only play on the World Cup.

                                       Japan vs Morroco
Easy match... Just attack as much as you can and you will surely win. If
you get in trouble, just use Matsuyama's (no.5) Eagle Shot.

                                       Japan vs GHA?
Although the opponent team doesn't have any special shots, and... it is
really easy. I believe you should attack and score as much as you can.
'^_^

                                       Japan vs Nigeria
Easy team, do the same as always... If required, use the Tachibana
brothers twin combination up to the penalty area and then try using any
of their specials, like the Skylab or Twin Shot.

                                       Japan vs USA
A easy and funny match... You may learn a new special block for Ishizaki
(no.4); if you are lucky enough when Mihael uses his Holy Shot (it looks
like a cross...)  Ishizaki's face will appear and he will learn this new
block, costs the same "energy" as the one you already have (400) but it
is a lot more effective (I think this will occur in the second half, but
I'm not sure...). Mihael is their only good player, he also has a very
good Rose Dribble, just try using Matsuyama, the Tachibana brothers or...
even Sorimachi (by now no.11, Hyuga's friend at the japanese Toho team),
although he doesn't have any special shot.

                                       Japan vs Philippines
The Asian Cup begins. Easy match, I don't have any comments at all...

                                       Japan vs Malasia
Easy match... Their only good player is no.4, a defensive player who
doesn't have any special shots. You will get a new player, Jun Misugi
(who will be no.11 by now), who has heart problems... For this reason he
will take a lot of time to recover his "energy". He only has 2 special
Overhead Shots, one of which costs 450 "energy" and is the best Overhead
Shot you will ever see in the japanese team.

                                       Japan vs Quatar
I believe you know what I was going to say, no? Well, easy match, just be
careful with no.11 and no.9 .

                                       Japan vs UAE
Their GK is really good, he has a special catch which will save almost
every of your shots (it reminds me of the Italian GK, Gino Hernandez).
Just use the best of Misugi's Overhead Shot, the one who costs 450
"energy".

                                       Japan vs IRQ?
They don't have any specials but they are at a high level, be careful!
Their only good player is no.9, who can use Drive Shot, Overhead Shot and
Jumping Shot.

                                       Japan vs Saudi Arabia
Easy match, you won't need any help.

                                       Japan vs Korea
The final match of the Asian Cup. Be careful because during half-time
Misugi will have an heart attack and you will have to play without him.
The opponent's GK is good so try to score as much as you can in the first
half.

                                       Japan vs Uruguay
Finally, you will get to the Word Cup! This first match is going to be
really easy, mainly because you will have every of the japanese folks.
Hyuga isn't playing very well, maybe you should just put him in the bench
and bring someone else. If you don't know how to do it, just leave him in
play...

                                       Japan vs France
You will finally have a great match. Pierre (no.10) and Napoleon (no.9)
have deadly combinations and a great Twin Shot. When they use one of
their special shots, in which Pierre diverts Napoleon's shot towards the
goal, be very careful because not even the Super Great Goal Keeper Genzo
Wakabayashi will able to stop it, not even from outside the penalty area.
Napoleon also has a great volley shot which will be a sure goal. Just use
Tsubasa's Cyclone Shot (the one who costs 330 of "energy") inside the
goal area for a sure goal, since France's GK isn't good at all. There is
a small chance that Hyuga will play using all his power in his match but
I don't know how you can do it, since it only occurred me once...

                                       Japan vs Holland
Another good team, with the combined shot between Keizer (no.11), Krisman
(no.10) and Lesenbru (no.9), a great defensive player as Leon Dick (no.5)
and a good GK as Dolman (I'm not sure of this name)... It would be a lot
harder if their captain played, but as usual he is just watching the
game, I wish I could play against him... Well, since you can't use
Tsubasa's Cyclone Shot (Klinsmann will always stop you) try using Tsubasa
and Misaki's Twin Overhead Shot, Misaki's Jumping Shot or you may put
Sawada into play and use his own Twin Overhead Shot (which he performs
with Hyuga). After winning, prepare to another great match.

                                       Japan vs Italy
You will fight against the first international opponent of Tsubasa in the
manga... Their GK Gino Hernandez is one of the best in the game (with his
special catch) as well as no.9 (who will surely score if you let him get
close enough to your GK) and no.10, which you may already know from
Hyuga's team. Use Tsubasa to attack with his Cyclone Shot and maybe
everything will go fine.

                                       Japan Red vs Japan White
Another practice match. Jito (no.4) and the Tachibana Brothers (no.7 and
no.8) start by scoring with a newly acquired special shot. Just pass the
ball to Hyuga (your no.9) and run with him up to the opponent's GK (which
will be Wakabayashi), he will pass to Tsubasa who will score and learn
his Boost Cyclone Shot, HYUGA WILL START PLAYING GOOD! Now you should
just make Hyuga dribble up to the opponent's GK so that he will learn his
Lightning Tiger Shot, which Wakabayashi will stop.

                                       Japan vs Brazil
As you may imagine, this is going to be a tough match. Although Artur
Coimbra isn't playing this time, their GK Gertize is really good, as well
as Nascimento (no.11) and Oliveira (no.8). In the first part you will
play against Siniori (no.9), who will be exchanged for Carlos Santana
(no.10) at half time. The best way to win is having Hyuga to confront
Siniori so that he will learn his Final Tiger Shot and score a goal.
Then, just use this newly acquired shot to score as much as you can in
the first part of the match, since at half-time Carlos Santana will come
into play and he is a worthy opponent for the japanese team. You must be
special careful with this one, but you must also watch for Oliveira's
only special shot and to Nascimento's Drive Shot. Just follow what I told
you for an easy win.

                                       Japan vs Germany
This time you will fight Schneider (no.11), Kartz (no.8), Schester
(no.10), Magas (no.9) and, of course, the GK Muller. Not even Wakabayashi
will be able to stop Schneider's best special shot, so try to take him
away from your goal area. Also, Schester has a special dribble and Muller
is going to defend most of your shots, I believe you must use Hyuga's
Final Tiger Shot, Tsubasa's Cyclone Shot or even the Tachibana Brothers
new technique work fine.

                                       Japan vs Argentina
This match would be a lot more interesting if their GK, Galtoni, played a
little better. You must watch soccer prodigy Diaz (no.10) and Pascual
(no.11), who use great combinations. Diaz, a good overall player, can
also use Boost Cyclone Shot. Since their GK isn't that good, just strike
as much as you can, Diaz will never be able to win just by himself...
Also, watch no.9, he has a good shot. For an easier win, try to keep all
this referred players from outside your penalty area, that way
Wakabayashi will be able to stop all their shots.

                                       Japan vs Champione
So, you finally got to the final match of this story mode... Since your
team's coach is Roberto Hongo, the opponent's coach is... Joan, Roberto's
old coach! This match sure is going to be hard, with Japan fighting a
club with one of the best GK's I've seen... They also have a player
(no.10) which can use a fantastic special shot (almost impossible to
defend) and an amazing Overhead shot (which he hardly uses) as well as
NITTA (!), yeah, he plays in this team, but he isn't very good, except
for his special dribble. At half time Joan will speak to his team and
after that Champione will play as a team, using a special combination
which includes the entire team. In order to win, I believe you must use
Final Tiger Shot and Tsubasa's Boost Cyclone Shot (a sure goal), as well
as Ishizaki's special block's (so that their no.10 don't get near from
your GK), Tachibana brothers special tackle, Jito's special tackle or
block and Soda's special tackle. If required, you may exchange Sano
(no.11) for Misugi, so that you have your best players on field. Careful
because Wakabayashi may not be able to stop their no.10 shot, NOT EVEN
FROM OUTSIDE THE PENALTY AREA, if you are at a low level. You may need to
loose just to raise some levels, since this one will surely be hard.
After (finally) winning, see the ending sequence and a special mention to
a game "Captain Tsubasa 6", which... doesn't exist... :-( Well, you still
have some special matches to play, I'll refer them later on.

5. Creating an edited team

Just pick the 3rd option on the main menu and again the 3rd option (2nd
if you are playing a new game and/or you don't have any saved games),
then you just need to pick the 1st option and create enough characters
for a team.

6. Secret Shots

If you are playing with Hamburg SV or Germany, put Kartz (that character
who seems to have something in his mouth, no.8?) just nearby the opponent
GK and you will get a new shot which costs 200 of "energy".
To use a new twin overhead shot, put Sawada and Hyuga in the same team,
it will only be available in Sawada's special shots menu, the same for
Tsubasa and Misaki's Twin overhead shot, which will only be available for
Misaki.

7. Walkthrough for the extra matches

As you go playing in the story mode, when you save your game you may
notice there are some new faces next to Tsubasa's. Those are the extra
matches, in which you will play with most of the important players in
some new matches. Careful because you may not have every move for each of
those players, for example, Hyuga won't have Final Tiger Shot or Tiger
Lightning Shot, even if you already learned them in the story mode,
mainly because those matches are before the ones from the story mode.
For those who don't know it, Tsubasa's face is for you to continue your
game in the story mode.

2nd Face (Hyuga)
                                       Juventus vs Fiorentina?
A hard match, mainly because Hyuga isn't playing and you don't have any
special shots, be very careful with the opponent's no.11 because he has a
special shot that Wakashimazu (your GK) won't even be able to stop. Use
your no.10 because he has a good special pass. Wakashimazu's Sankakugeri
is a good save move for you to use.

                                       Juventus vs Milano?
Be careful with their no.9 because he has a really good special shot.
Since now you have Hyuga playing (no.9!!!), use his Overhead shot for a
sure goal.

3rd Face (Napoleon)
                                       NSC? vs TFC?
Easy match, you will be playing against a team without any special shot
but you have Ishizaki (no.4), Taki (no.7), Kisugi (no.11), Izawa (no.10)
and even Napoleon (no.9), whose special shots are a sure goal. Just be
careful with the opponent players like Sawada (no.10) and Sorimachi
(no.11) and you will surely win. Just don't try to use Morisaki (your GK)
to catch the ball because he can't!

4th Face (Pierre)
                                       PRS? vs BRD?
Just use Misaki's Overhead Shot (no.10, it costs 300 "energy") and be
careful with Pierre (opponent's no.10) because he has a good special shot
and a Jumping Shot, which will score all the time. After winning,
Misaki's face will appear.

5th Face (Misaki)
First you will be able to choose from 2 teams, one in which you will have
Misaki (the first selection) and in the second one you will play with
Matsuyama. You must play with them both in order to proceed, and I will
assume you first selected Misaki's team.

                                       PRS? vs Manchester United
Be careful with the opponent's GK because he has a very good special
catch and also with Matsuyama (no.4), whose Eagle Shot is REALLY good, he
can even score from the middle of the field. Misaki's Jumping Shot works
really well.

                                       Manchester United vs PRS?
It will be easy, take Matsuyama (no.4) to the midfield and use his Eagle
Shot (costs 270 "energy"), or you may put him playing as a forward, if
you know how to do it. If required, use the GK's special catch, it will
work except for Misaki's Jumping Shot.

6th Face (Gino Hernandez)
                                       KLN? vs STT?
Easy match, you have the best European GK Gino Hernandez (well, at least
that's what they used to say...), you must use your no.9 in order to
score, although he doesn't have any special shot. Be careful with the
opponent's no.9, whose Banana Shot is good but I believe Gino's Golden
Hand Catch is enough for it.

                                       KLN? vs BAY?
Hard match, but you won't need to win it. The opponent's GK is really
weak but their main player, Karl Heinz Schneider (no.11), is a great
striker and every time he uses his Fire Shot it will be a sure goal, even
from the middle of the field.

7th Face (Carlos Santana)
                                       Brazil vs Venezuela?
As you may imagine, an easy match. They don't have any good player, so
just use Nascimento (no.11) and Oliveira's (no.10) special shots, since
your best player, Carlos Santana (no.8) isn't playing well; however, you
can't put him on the bench.

                                       Brazil vs Chile?
Again, easy match. Do the same as in the last match, and if required use
Gertize's special catch.

                                       Brazil vs Bolivia?
.. Do the same as before and you will surely get a win. Oliveira's
special shot works fine but Nascimento's Drive Shot won't be enough to
pass their GK.

                                       Brazil vs Argentina
Well, now Santana (no.8) will start playing fine but you won't have
Oliveira and Nascimento anymore. It will be kinda hard to win this match,
since you will be fighting a good team... Their GK isn't very good but
you must watch Diaz (no.10), Pascual (no.11) and mostly no.9 because he
has a very "hot" shot. Use Santana's special shot (the one which costs
300 "energy") near the opponent's GK for a sure goal and try to prevent
Diaz and their no.9 from ever getting near your penalty area because they
will score. With some luck, maybe you will win at your first try.

8th Face (Schneider)
                                       BAY? vs Hamburgo SV
It will be hard, mainly because your GK sucks but you won't need to win
in the end... Well, you have the great striker Karl Heinz Schneider
(no.11) but they have Kartz (no.10, a good overall player) and the GK ...
Genzo Wakabayashi! The only way to score is by shooting with Schneider
inside the penalty area, since Wakabayashi will stop every shot from
outside the penalty area. Use the shot which costs 270 "energy", or the
one which costs 330 for a sure goal.

                                       BAY? vs KLN?
Well, I believe you have already seen this match, no? This time, use
Schneider to score with his best shot and just be careful with their GK,
Gino Hernandez, since his Golden Hand Catch will work fine most of the
times. Be careful because once he is tackled he will be injured and leave
the field, which can happen during the first half of the game... if it
doesn't, he will be auto-tackled as soon as the second half begins.

9th Face (Wakabayashi)
                                       Hamburgo SV vs Werder Bremen
Easy match, you have a great GK which will stop most of the opponent's
shots. If required, take Kartz (no.10) up to the opponent GK and use a
new shot that will appear (costs 200 "energy"), may score sometimes.

                                       Hamburgo SV vs FKF?
This one is ridiculous! For a even easier goal chance, catch the ball
with Wakabayashi (your GK...) and even he will score a goal.

10th Face (Wakashimazu)
                                       Juventus vs Parma
Be careful this time... you will be playing against a good team, they
can't score in the first half but on the second half Siniori will get
into play (or when you score 3 goals) and he is really good, with his
special dribble and an unstoppable special shot. So, use Hyuga (no.9) to
score as much as you can in the first half because the second half will
surely be a lot harder.

11th Face (Muller)
                                       Inter Milan vs Feyernoord
Be careful with the opponent's no.10 (Klinsmann?) because he can use this
team's main attack, a combined shot between himself, Kaiser (no.11) and
Lesenbru (no.9)... most of the times he use it from such a far distance
that Muller will be able to catch it, but you should still be very
careful. Well, if you can't do it, you don't need to win, after all...

12th Face (1st Ishizaki)
                                       Japan vs CNS?
This one is the most difficult match in the game... their GK is really
good, I believe the best way to score is just by using Tsubasa's Boost
Cyclone Shot or Hyuga's Final Tiger Shot from inside the penalty area,
those two are the only ones that can score. Although the opponent don't
have any special shots you should still be careful because they play very
good and may put Wakabayashi into trouble more than once. Ho, and you
will get Nitta in this match.

13th Face (2nd Ishizaki)
                                       Japan vs Japan
Interesting match, no? Well, pretty much the same, just use Tsubasa's
Boost Cyclone Shot, Hyuga's Final Tiger Shot, Misaki's Twin Overhead Shot
and even Nitta's Falcon Volley. In defense, use Ishizaki's special blocks
to prevent the opponent Tsubasa or Hyuga from getting into your penalty
area, so that your Wakabayashi will be able to stop every of their shots,
even the Final Tiger.

14th Face (3rd Ishizaki)
                                       Japan vs IKD?
Easy match, I believe Hyuga's Tiger Shot will score even from the middle
of the field. Just attack and you will surely win, as always, no? :-)

15th Face (4th Ishizaki)
                                       Player vs Japan
I'll tell you the truth... I could never win this match, so hard that it
is. Basically, you play with a team whose players you created (to see how
to do this check my section "Creating an edited team") plus 2 GK's, who
will be Morisaki and Nakamishi... Since even your main GK sucks, you
won't have much of a chance; every time the opponent use a special shot,
you will suffer a goal, so just practice and maybe you will achieve what
I didn't... Well, without using cheats, of course.

8. Move's List

Move's were rated: shot ("S"), defensive ("D"), the ones you must send
the ball low to the penalty area ("L") and the ones you must send sky
high ("H"), game combinations will be rated "C" and any special pass will

10. Bug's List

-- If you use Tsubasa's Overhead Shot (this one costs 120 "energy") to
take ball away from your goal and any opponent touch the ball after that,
the game may glitch.
-- How can the Tachibana Brothers use their combination shots if they are
so far from each other all the time?
-- In the match between Japan and MYS (???????), a player uses a special
dribble, but when you find this same player on the Champione team, he
doesn't have it anymore. What happened to it? The same occurs if you
select MYS as your team in the others modes, that player won't have that
special dribble...
-- Use Lightning Tiger Shot and you'll see the messed up background.

11. "Forgotten" Shots

There are some shots who are not included in the move's list and you can't
seem to perform easily, those are 3 and you won't see them quite often, at
least the last 2 of them... If you know how to perform them WITHOUT using
external codes, please mail me that info. So, those "forgotten" shots are
these:

- Miracle Shot - This is a shot which will be really good at the beggining
of the game but it sucks later on. To perform it Tsubasa must be around
190 and the option to perform Drive Shot will be switched for a new option
of performing this special shot, which will cost 190 "energy". Just for
your information, this shot has nothing to do with the opponent GK, as
some people usually think.

- Tsubasa and Hyuga's Twin Shot - No idea how can you perform this, except
for using gameshark codes... It costs 200 "energy", and if you really want
to see it and you have a gameshark, use the code 7E18F206; It will be the
first move in each of the players list, ONLY FOR PLAYERS WHO HAVE SPECIAL
SHOTS.

- Tsubasa, Hyuga and other players countering shot - This is a way of
countering the opponent's special shots, although it costs 200 "energy" I
don't quite know how you can perform it without using gameshark codes, but
if you want the code it will be 7E18F229; for using it, just confront an
opponent player and this shot will appear as the first move in the list of
shots, ONLY FOR PLAYERS WHO HAVE SPECIAL SHOTS.

12. Questions

Question: I heard you would receive extra stuff if you beated the game
without loosing any match. Is this true?
Answer: No, I tried it by myself and it turns to be only a rumor.

Question: My game glitches every time I try to get Hyuga's Lightning Tiger
Shot. What should i do?
Answer: Play the original japanese game, there isn't any way of correcting
that problem, sorry.

Question: In the extra matches, Schneider gets hurt and I can't continue
playing because the game has a glitch. What should i do?
Answer: As said above, it's a better idea to play the original japanese game.

Question: At the end, Alxion refers to a "Captain Tsubasa 6" game. Does that
game really exist?
Answer: Unfortunately, no.
