1. -Information-
Astral Bout is neither a wrestling game nor a fighting game. It is in fact
the first Mixed Martial Arts video game (to the best of my knowledge). In the
mid-nineties Mixed Martial Arts became vastly popular in the United States
(Ultimate Fighting Championships), Brazil (World Vale Tudo Championships), and
Japan (Rings). For those that don't know, Mixed Martial Arts is a combat sport
that includes fighting from any position whether on the feet or on the ground
and any type of fighting both grappling and striking. Originally the idea was
to pit various styles against each other and that's why you'll see one typical
fighter of each style as a possible character in Astral Bout. The goal is to
get your opponent to submit via submission or to be rendered unconscious. You
can also gain victory by decision or TKO.

a. -Single Player Tournament- Battle through all characters.
b. -Two Player- Battle against a friend.
c. -Exhibiton- Practice against the opponent of your choice.
