Trivial Pursuit is my next FAQ for the Sega Master System Completion Project.
It is a project set up at the FAQ Contributors Board at GameFAQs to give all
Sega Master System games a FAQ. It was started by Masamune3 in the case of the
Sega Master System but there are projects like that for other consoles too.
Trivial Pursuit is the World's greatest and best selling board game. This Sega
version incorporates everything that has helped to make it so. Plus, Russell
your animated and trendy question master, superb sound and colour, wonderful
screen background and over 2,000 brain teasing questions.
[1] [Q]. What are those numbers like [A300] next to the title of every section?
[A] It is the search engine of this FAQ. Press Ctrl and F. Type in the
search code for the section you want to go to. You should be there in
two steps.
[2] [Q]. Are you ever going to add all the questions to this FAQ?
[A] No, I don't see a reason to do so.
[3] [Q]. Why is this FAQ so bad?
[A] Because there isn't anything else to tell about this game.

3- Setting up the Game [A300]
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
===============================================================================
3.1- Enter names [A301]
===============================================================================
Use the Up and Down Button to chose a letter. Press left or right to change the
place in the word like when you want to go from the first to the second letter,
you just have to press right. Press 1 when you're done. Switch to one of the
other colours and enter a name. Continue this until you have filled in all the
names of the players. You can play with six people at once. Once you have
entered all the names, go down to 'Exit'. If one of the players decides to
quit, chose 'Player Quit' and click the player that wants to leave. You can
also Pause a player if he is gone for a short time, chose 'Player Return' when
he is back. Click 'Exit' to go to the Options Screen.
You'll arrive on the Options Screen now. Click 'Start Game' to continue the
game; click 'New Game' to cancel the last one. You still have to press 'Start
Game' to commence Trivial Pursuit. The timer shows how much time you get for
every question.
===============================================================================
3.3- Playing the game [A303]
===============================================================================
Once the game itself has started, you have to press 1 to roll the dice and
chose where you want to go. A question will appear on the screen. Tell the
answer to your friends and click 1 before the slug reaches the end flag. The
game will display the answer and you have to say if you got it right or not. IF
you were, it is your turn again.

4- Finishing the game [A400]
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
===============================================================================
4.1- Purpose of the game [A401]
===============================================================================
There are six places in your icon. It is your task to fill them up. You have to
answer the question you get on the places with the coloured triangle right to
get the piece. You have to get one piece of every colour and return to the
middle of the playfield to win.
===============================================================================
4.2- Beating the game when you don't know a lot [A402]
===============================================================================
Trivial Pursuit is one of the best ways to test your general knowledge. Too bad
you can't say the same about this game if you're playing this alone because you
can just tell that you're right. If you want to cheat, you can just press 'Yes'
on the 'Did you get it right?' part.

5- Colour Codes for Questions [A500]
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
There are six categories of questions. Each category is assigned to a specific
category.
History = Yellow
Entertainment = Purple
Science and Nature = Green
Art and Literature = Brown
Geography = Blue
Sports and Leisure = Red
There are different types of questions in each category too. You have the
regular type questions that just have the question with or without three
options to choose from. There are also questions in which they play a piece of
music or show a picture.
