     INTRODUCTION
o---------------------o

This is my first FAQ in the month of October 2012 after that frenzy I went on in
September. This is also the first FAQ that I've written since turning 17 a few
days ago. Now it's time to get back to work on knocking out more guides for the
SMS Completion Project which hit a small snag thanks to games being added #-_-

       RULES
o---------------------o

These are the rules that apply to Tennis as a whole. The gameplay section only
applies exclusively to Super Tennis.

-There are 3 sets and the winner of the match is the one who wins best 2 of 3.

-Sets are won by being the first to win 6 (or 7) games within the set while you
are winning by at least 2 games. In other words, you can win from 6-0 (love) to
6-4 with no problems but you cannot win 6-5. You will have to win 7-5 but it is
possible to win 6-6 in what is called a tiebreaker.

-Tiebreakers consists of being the first player to get 7 points while winning by
2 points at the least. It will follow volleyball standards in this case. The
set will keep going as long as there is a 1-point lead after the 7th point is
reach by either side so it can end as 11-9 for example. With that in mind, the
winner of the tiebreaker will have the 7th point in the set.

-Games are also further separated into 4 seperate points that must be won by 2
points or less. They are scored as 15, 30, 40, Game. 0 points or games are
labeled as "love". If both sides are 40-40, a deuce is declared where the game
will be won if the winner gets 2 more points than the opponent. Other words: if
a side wins a point, they are given an advantage and must win another point on
the next go-around to win the game. If the other person ties it up then it is
back to deuce mode. With that in fact, if you are at a disadvantage, you must
win 3 points in a row to win the game.

-After a game has been won, the opponents will serve for next game back and
forth between games.

-When serving, time the serve so that it lands between the net and the center
line or it will result in a fault if it lands over the center line, hits the
net or hits the outer areas or beyond. Double faulting will result in a point
for the opponent.

-During singles after the serve, the playing area is the inner boundaries so the
ball must land in that area or it will be ruled out. During doubles, the outer
areas are ruled in play.

      GAMEPLAY
o---------------------o

Before beginning the game, choose your Speed Level, Control Level and Player
Types.

Speed Level:
A = Slow
B = Medium
C = Fast

Control Level:
A = Fairly Accurate
B = Accurate
C = Extremely Accurate

Player Type:
A = Versatile
B = Offensive
C = Defensive

Next use select the level of difficulty from 1-5

Don't even worry about serving from the far side, this game has been programmed
so that no one switches sides and what's more is that if you decide to play a
2-player game, you will never play against each other. You will only play in a
doubles game against to CPU-controlled opponents.

To play this game correctly you got to know what each shot does. Hit is when you
hit the ball back at the opponent after it has bounced off the ground. A volley
is when you hit the ball back before it hits the ground. A lob is when you knock
the ball high into the air to hit it to the far side of the field. A Smash is
when you hit a lobbed ball with a lot of force.
