INTRODUCTION

This game takes place in the year 2095 , the world is controlled by a corrupt
megacorporations that dominate the masses submissive. In order to find a new
form of entertainment, corporations create a violent sport again called Speed-
ball. The first is created Speedball league with 12 teams, each with five play-
ers distributed in different positions.
The general concept of this game was inspired by the movie Rollerball 1975, this
is very noticeable in the design of the costumes, which have a resemblance to
those of football but made ??of metal. Also note this influence on the art of
the game, where thorns are metal coated gloves and other parts of the dress.
In this video game athletes are portrayed in a very simple and very basic
animations, plus they all look the same individuals, have been given the same
color (silver) to the uniforms of all teams, the only way to differentiate is
the helmet color (green for the team star, red for rivals). The only trace of
individuality in this game are the portraits of the team captains, shown before
each game, the captains also are the only players to have names.
In this game players have the ability to run, throw the ball and make a high
pass.

STORY

Speedball is the action sport of the 21st century. Dodge neck-breaking tackles
and bone-crushing body slams to pass a solid steel ball towards your opponent's
goal. Hammer your foe enough times and he'll cry for mercy.

D-pad = move player
1 Button = Pass ball on offense and punch player on defense. During a loose ball
you can jump for the ball to catch it and gain possession.
2 Button = Shoot ball towards the goal.

GAMEPLAY

You can choose to have a 1-player game or a 2-player game or even watch two CPU
opponents go at each other. The 1-player game is the knockout game where you'll
choose one of three teams and go against other teams in the best two games out
of three including draws. If you fail to qualify then it is game over.
-There is a meter on the right side of the screen that you'll see fill up. This
indicates the time in the game. When it fills up to the max, the game ends and
if you got any money. Which you collect on the floor that look like coins with
squares in them, then you can bribe the official to extend the game. Refer to
the items section for more information.
-There are also two holes in the sides of the fields. These are wraparounds so
if it goes in one, it'll come out of the other.
-The point of this game is to maneuver your player past the opponents and throw
the ball into the goal past the goalie.
-The faceoff sends the ball in a random direction. The person you control is the
one closest to the ball.
-Whoever has the most points win. You can also draw to. Should you lose, you got
to win or draw to stay in the knockout round. Lose and game is over.
