------------------------------ 3. Introduction: ------------------------ [INT3]
_______________________________________________________________________________

Welcome to my guide for Golvellius: The Valley of Doom for the Sega Master
System. This guide will help you fight your way through the dangerous valley
and rescue the missing princess, Rena. This game was originally released in
Japan for the MSX computer by COmpile and was remade for the Master System by
Sega. The game is basically a clone of The Legend of Zelda with some unique
elements thrown in.

_______________________________________________________________________________

---------------------------------- 4. Story: --------------------------- [STO4]
_______________________________________________________________________________

The Kingdom of Aleid is being troubled by demons attacking innocent people that
enter the valley below for water. So great is the king's concern for his people
that he falls ill. The only thing that can cure his illness is an herb known as
Mea that grows only in the bottom of the valley. Against all objections
Princess Rena heads into the valley alone to find the herb, but doesn't return.
Hearing of the princess's plight a wanderer called Kelesis decides to enter the
valley in search of Rena.

------------------------------ 6. Dungeon Types ------------------------ [DUT6]
_______________________________________________________________________________

There are two different types of dungeons in the game. At the end of each, but
the first, is a boss.

Side Scrolling:
------------------

These dungeons are viewed from a side angle and require you to walk from the
left side of the dungeon to the right. As you walk right the screen will scroll
along with you, but if you move into the left side of the screen you are
removed from the dungeon and must try again. Oftentimes you will have to jump
over obstacles or onto platforms to advance. There are also sections of the
wall that you may need to destroy, as well as statues you need to strike to
move platforms to an accesible place. These dungeons have up to six different
types of enemies in them. These enemies are Red Snakes, Caterpillers, Fleas,
Spiders, Fireballs, and Giant Snakes. Most foes will appear as their section of
the dungeon comes on screen, but Red Snakes often also hide inside blocks that
hang from the ceiling in your way.

Top-Down:
------------

These dungeons are viewed from an overhead perspective. The screen constantly
scrolls upwards forcing you to keep moving with it to avoid touching the bottom
of the screen. If you do happen to touch the bottom of the screen you will be
kicked out of the dungeon and will have to try again. The main obstacle in
these dungeons are the walls themselves. If you get caught on them you're
likely to be kicked out of the dungeon. There are five different enemies inside
these dungeons. These enemies are Blue Bats, Ladybugs, Flies, Giant Bats, and
Baby Bats. The will all appear as the screen scrolls further up through the
dungeon.

_______________________________________________________________________________

================================== A. Desba: =========================== [DESA]

I. The first dungeon:                                                    [TFD1]
------------------------

Choose New Game from the main menu to begin. The game starts with a short clip
of you walking into a cave. There you meet an old woman who gives you a sword
and a pair of boots to go along with your two bars of health and your GOLDmax
of 1000.

After you finish talking to her you enter your first dungeon. This dungeon is
one of the side-scroller dungeons. Button 1 attacks diagonally up with your
sword and Button 2 jumps while pressing Down on the D-pad crouches. All you
need to do for these dungeons is head right and kill any enemies that block
your path, unlike later dungeons you don't have to worry about touching the
left side of the screen. The only enemies you'll face here are Red Snakes and
Caterpillars. The Red Snakes don't move and fall to one hit, but the
Caterpillars move back and forth between walls and take two hits to die.

About half-way through you'll meet a Giant Snake. This creature bounces up and
down and spits out Red Snakes that you either must avoid them, or kill to get
closer. Stand right next to the platform just in front of the Giant Snake and
jump and attack get in a couple of hits. After attacking back off until it
spits another Red Snake and then repeat the process. After another round or
two of this the Giant Snake should die and leave behind several health orbs
that you can collect to restore any health you've lost.

Continue onwards and when the path spilts choose the lower one to avoid landing
on the Red Snake that appears underneath the exit from the upper path. At the
end is a staircase that you must be careful climbing becuase a Caterpillar
starts to come down. To kill it stand on the very end of a step below it and
then attack. Climb to the top and you'll see a handy arrow pointing out the
exit to you.

II. The Valley Entrance:                                                 [TVII]
---------------------------

After you exit the dungeon you find yourself standing near the dungeon's exit,
which apparently must have been blocked up when you left. The first thing we
need to do is get some money so we can buy stuff. Head North one screen and
you'll come to an area with two large groups of trees and some bushes. The
enemies on this screen are Blue Snakes. All Snakes in the overworld will move
towards you and ocassionally jump, for this reason it's best not to attack them
from above. Blue Snakes take two hits to kill, but they give you 40 GOLD when
you kill them so they're the most profitable foes right now. Fight them until
your GOLD is maxed out, press the Pause Button to check how much GOLD you have.

Once you have 1000 GOLD head North one screen and then West one screen. Kill
two of the Red Snakes and a hole will appear on the left side of the screen.
Enter it and buy the Bible from the old woman for 500 GOLD. Your GOLDmax now is
2000.

When you're done with her head East two screens. Avoid the Blue Bats as best
you can and go into the hole. All Bats will fly towards you in an arch and when
they pass you will swoop back around. Buy the Potion to add an extra health bar
and restore any lost health.

Now head back West two screens again and then South one. This screen has both
Blue Snakes and Bees on it. Bees move towards you in a swriling pattern and
attack by shooting some type of ball at you. Kill one of either type of enemy
and a hole will appear where to bush stood at the left of the screen, this is
the entrance to Desba's dungeon. When you're ready enter it.

If you get low on health at any point you can visit Randar and for 150 GOLD
he'll restore all of your health. The Randar in this area resides one screen
West of your starting point. His screen is guarded by Blue Bats and you must
walk around several rocks to get to the hole so use caution if you're extremely
low on health.

III. Desba's dungeon:                                                    [DIII]
------------------------

Desba's dungeon is of the top down variety. The dungeon automatically scrolls
upward so you have to cosntantly move to keep up with it. If you touch the
bottom of the screen you'll be kicked out and have to reenter the hole to try
again. Both Buttons attack with your sword pointing at a slight leftwards
angle.

Manuever through the dungeon and try to avoid running into any of the wall as
they'll stop you from moving foreward allowing the bottom of the screen to
catch up to you. The best place to be is just above the middle of the screen as
you'll be safe from the bottom of the screen and still have time to react to
whatever comes from the top of the screen. This particular dungeon has no
deadends so you shouldn't get kicked out unless you can't get around a wall
fast enough.

Blue Bats are your only foes here and they act like their overworld
counterparts. About three-quarters of the way through you'll encounter a Giant
Bat. It will swing back and forth in front of you but doesn't have an actual
attack. It will take quite a few hits to kill and when it dies it'll leave
behind several health orbs.

The dungeons ends just past the Giant Bat so if you haven't killed it by then
it will just dissapear. When the screen reaches the end of the dungeon you
automatically walk to the exit.

IV. Desba:                                                               [DEIV]
-------------

The first boss of the game looks like an angry snowman. Desba moves back and
forth along the top of the screen and attacks by throwing several snowflakes
up and then letting them move down the screen. To get near him walk through the
gaps between the snowflakes. Hit him a few times and then back off until he's
finished attacking again. After about twenty-two or so hits, or around eleven
extended attacks, he'll die and explode. Your health will refill and your GOLD
will max out and then you'll exit the dungeon automatically.

After you return to the overworld head East one screen and you'll see that a
hole has appeared where there was none before. Enter it and the old woman will
congratulate you for defeating Despa and sell you a Crystal for 1000 GOLD, you
need it so be sure to take it.

================================= B. Rolick: =========================== [ROLB]

I. The Desert:                                                           [THD1]
-----------------

When you're  through with the Old Woman head North one screen. The rock that
blocked the path north is now gone allowing you further access to the valley.
Go another two screens North to enter the Desert.

Kill enough Blue Snakes so that you have over 1200 GOLD and then enter the hole
that appeared after you killed the first one. Buy the Potion and then max out
your GOLD by killing more Blue Snakes. If you tire of kill Blue Snakes head
East one screen and you can fight some Green Frogs instead. They have the same
amount of health and give the same money as the Blue Snakes do. Frogs hop left
or right across the screen paying hardly any heed to you. When they appear they
start to hop your direction but keep going once they pass you. If you're above
or level to them when they appear every third hop will be an exeptionally high
one that will take them farther.

Once you have 2000 GOLD head North two screens from the Green Frogs and then
West one. Kill one of the Pink Moles, they take two hits, and a hole will show
up. Moles move randomly around the screen underground ocassionally popping up
to let you attack them. You can only hurt them when they come up so wait near
one and then quickly strike to kill it. Go in the hole and buy the Bible for
2000 GOLD from the Old Woman. This will increase your GOLDmax to 4000.

If you'd like to get a Password head South one screen, avoid the Green Frogs,
and enter the hole to meet Winkle. She'll give you a Password for free. Be
careful you don't exit the hole while recording the password because if you
enter again a she will give you a different one.

To meet Randar head one screen North and one screen East from the Old Woman
with the Bible. Randar is guarded by Green Snakes which take three hits to
kill, but give you 180 GOLD in return. Kill two of them and the way to Randar
will appear.

Fight the Green Snakes by Randar until you have about 2600 GOLD and then head
North two screens. Walk around the rock and kill two of the Green Snakes to
open up a hole. Inside is an Old Woman who's selling a Potion for 800 GOLD.

After collecting the Potion go South one screen and then West one screen.
Here there are Blue Bugs. Bugs move randomly around the screen passing over
anything. If one stays on the screen for a short while it will sent a small
black mass your way. Kill four of these creatures and a hole will show up.
Inside is yet another Old Woman, but this one is selling a Green Mea for 1000
GOLD. Buy it and if all your health gets drained it will autmatically restore
one bar of your helath and then dissapear. Unless you desperately need it,
always return here to buy a Green Mea as it's much cheaper.

Next head West one screen and South two to find a screen full of Green Snakes.
Go in the hole and you'll meet Enny. Like Randar she will restore your health,
but she charges 50 GOLD to restore only one bar of health. Avoid using her
unless you're in dire need of healing or money isn't a problem for you.

From Enny head South One screen and then take the left path South one screen
again. Kill two of the Grey Bats and go in the hole that appeared to but a
Bible for 800 GOLD. With this Bible you can now carry a maximum of 6000 GOLD.
When you are done shopping head West one screen.

Follow the rocks along the bottom of the screen and enter the gap in the outer
diamond of blue rocks. Avoid the Grey Bats and Green Frogs and strike the
middle rock on the lower-right side of the inner diamond five times to reveal
a hole. Inside is Rolick.

II. Rolick's Dungeon:                                                    [ROII]
------------------------

Rolick's dungeon is another side-scroller, but this time if you touch the left
side of the screen you're taken back to the overworld and will have to try
again.

Make your way to the right until you get to an area just big enough for you to
walk through. Abouve you are some shaped gaps with a few enemies that you don't
have to worry about. Soon the gaps become letters and spell out SEGA. When you
reach the end of the S Caterpillars will start to appear in front of you as you
advance.

Once you've disposed of them hit the hanging blocks with your sword to destroy
them. When you destroy the last one three Red Snakes will come out of it so
don't rush foreward immediately after you destroy it.

After passing that jump onto the first platform in fornt of you and jump as far
right as you  can to avoid the Red Snakes in front of you.

Once past that carefully hop along the platforms and either avoid or kill the
two Fireballs that come along the screen. Fireballs weave up and down as they
head from the right side to the left side of the screen. They take two hits to
kill. If you fall off of the platforms just head back and try again, even at
the furthest point here the screen won't advance far enough to prevent you from
trying agian without leaving. Watch out for the Caterpillar below you after you
cross.

Once past there you'll come across two Giant Snakes, one at a time. They both
act similarly to the one you fought in the fist dungeon excpet that the second
one bounces more quickly. Use the same tactic to beat them as you did the first
one; stand right next to the platform right in front of them and then jump and
attack.

After the Giant Snakes you must jump from a lower platform to a higher one. If
you miss the jump you'll land on a group of Red Snakes and be pushed back into
the left side of the screen.

Once you've made the jump just walk across the small gap onto the next
platform. To kill the Red Snakes in your way stand near the edge closest to
them and then duck and attack. Continue to walk across the gaps after there and
then jump from the lower one to the higher.

After you get across one last gap head right and destroy the two sections of
wall infront of the statue. Strike the statue with your sword and the plaform
behind you will lower. Head right and the wall below you will congratulate you
for making it through.

III. Rolick:                                                             [RIII]
---------------

Rolick looks kind of like a hermit crab with a shell. When the fight starts
he's near the top of the screen. Rolick's movement and attack are the same
thing. He'll start by entering his shell and then spinning towards you. He'll
then chase you a short ways and then stop and come out of his shell momentarily
before starting the process all over again. You can attack him at any time, but
obviously it's safer to do it when he's not spinning after you. To kill him
you'll have to hit him around 38 times. When he dies your health restores and
your GOLD maxes out.

Once the fight's over go East one screen, North four, East another one, then
North, East, and North once each. Avoid the Grey Bats and enter the hole to buy
a Crystal for 3000 GOLD.

================================= C. Bacular: ========================== [BACC]

I. The Graveyard:                                                        [THGI]
--------------------

After buying the Crystal head back the way you came by going one screen each of
South, West, South, and West. Here you'll see that a bridge has appeared at the
top of the screen allowing you to cross the water. Head North one screen and
then take any path but the leftmost North again. Kill two of the Blue Crows,
which take two hits to kill, and enter the hole that appears. Crows attack by
flying straight at you and then stop and try again. Inside the hole is another
Bible for sale, this time for 1000 GOLD. Buy it, raising your GOLDmax to 8000,
and then head South one screen. On this screen are Red Frogs. They take three
hits to kill, but give 200 GOLD for the effort so hang around here until you
reached you max.

If you take a lot of damage and need healing head West one screen and enter the
Blue Snake guarded hole to find Randar.

Now that you have a lot of money you're going to back track a bit. Head South
three screens and then take right path South one more. From there head East two
and North one. Kill two of the Pink Warthogs, at two hits each, and a hole will
show up. Warthogs will slowly move towards you if above or below, then will
quickly charge you once level to you. Enter the hole and buy Aruzasu's Shield
for 8000 GOLD. Now you can block some enemy's ranged attacks.

Make your way back to the first screen of the Graveyard, the one with the Red
Frogs. Once there max out your GOLD again and then head West one screen. Take
upper path to the West and then head North one screen. Kill two of the Red
Frogs and buy the Bible in the hole for 4000 GOLD. Your GOLDmax is now 10000.

Kill the Red Frogs here until you've got about 8200 GOLD and then head SOuth
two screens. Hit two of the Red Bats twice each to kill them and make a hole
appear.  Go into the hole and buy the Potion for 4200 GOLD.

Now head North one screen and East two, followed by another North and one East.
These enemies are Blue Knights and they're quite powerful taking six hits to
bring down and your shield cannot block their swords. Knights walk randomly
around the screen occasionally stoping to throw a sword at you. Walk over to
the skull on the ground and strike it to open a hole in which resides Enny.

Head North and East once each to find some Green Snakes and Orange Bees. The
Orange Bees take two hits to kill and your shield can reflect thier
projectiles. Kill one of the foes to open a hole to an Old Woman selling a
Potion for 2000 GOLD.

Follow the right way past the pit North on screen and strike the rock near the
middle of the screen. This is where Winkle resides, protected by Blue Crows.

Go North one screen and then West one and kill two of the Red Bats. Once you've
done that a hole will make itself visable. Inside is a Bible worth 2000 GOLD.
Buy it and then cross the bridge to the West going one screen. Fight the Red
Frogs here until you have the maximum amount of GOLD which should be 12000.

With your vast wealth head South one screen and then hug the river as you head
South once more. If you need it, there is a Green Mea here that you can get to
by killing four of the White Crows, which fall to one hit, or Orange Bees, It
costs 6000 GOLD.

Continue to follow the river West two screens. Avoid the Blue Knights and hit
the gravestone twice to open a hole. Go inside and buy the Valley Sword for
12000 GOLD. Equiped with this your attacks are now three times stronger.

Follow the river back to where you most recently fought with the Red Frogs.
Build up your supply of GOLD until you've got around 8800 and then go West one
screen. Kill two of the White Skeletons and enter the hole. White Skeletons now
take two hits to kill with the Valley Sword. Skeletons attack by moving towards
you very quickly. If you're not careful you can be overrun and killed before
you can escape the screen. In the hole is an Old Woman selling a Bible for 5000
GOLD. With this your maximum is now 16000.

Head South one screen and hit the top left gravestone twice to real yet another
hole. Inside this one is a new face, Dina. She'll give you 150 GOLD in return
for one bar of your health. This is a terrible ripoff and you should avoid her
at all costs. From there avoid the Blue Crows and head West one screen.

You're now going to have to make your way through a White Skeleton death trap.
Follow the path Noth and then around again back South. Hit the gravestone
straight ahead and buy the Potion for 3800 GOLD.

Make your way back to where you fought the Red Frogs. Walk up to and strike the
topmost gravestone three times to make the path to Bachular's dungeon appear.

II. Bachular's Dungeon:                                                  [BD11]
--------------------------

Bachular's Dungeon is another top down one so be mindful of how close you are
to the bottom of the screen.

Follow the path killing or dodging the Blue Bats and Ladybugs that appear.
Ladybugs show up directly above where you are and stay in one place. It takes
only one hit to kill them. When the path breaks up into three take the left one
as the middle one is a deadend and the right requires you to race along a long
section of wall to reach the proper path.

When you've made it past there a Giant Bat will appear. If you don't kill it in
a timely manner it will creat a Baby Bat that will move around the screen.

Make your way through the path going around any obstacles and killing or
avoiding Blue Bats and Ladybugs. At a diamond shaped formation another Giant
Bat appears. Just beyond there is the way to the boss, Bachular.

III. Bachular:                                                           [BIII]
-----------------

Bachular is a skeletal, three-headed, winged creature. It moves around by
teleporting from one spot to another. It attacks by shooting out three balls
of fire that stay on screen for a good amount of time. It will try to use these
to build a wall around itself so that you can't get to it. To get near it
either walk between or around the fireballs. After you stirking it about 32
times it will fall and your health and money will become their maximums.

After defeating the boss head East one screen across the river then follow it
South one, West one, South once more, West once more, and then South one last
time. Avoid the Green Snakes and go inside the newly appeared hole to buy
another Crystal for 8000 GOLD.

================================= D. Fosbus: =========================== [FOSD]

I. The Meadow, Beach, and Swamp:                                         [TMBI]
-----------------------------------

After collecting the Crystal go five screens South followed by one screen West.
Avoid the Green Slugs while you wait a few seconds for a hole to appear. Slugs
only attack is to try and move towards you to touch you. If any get in your way
to the hole kill them with two hits and collect 100 GOLD. Inside the hole Is a
Potion for 4000 GOLD.

After purchasing the Potion head South one screen. Here there are Blue Bugs
attacking you. They drop to only two hits and the black thing they shoot at
is reflected by your shield so killing them is an easy task. The resident of
the hole here is Randar.

If you need to visit Winkle go one screen North on the right side of the river
and then one screen East. Her screen is guarded by Green Slugs and Red Frogs.
If you need to make some money this is likely the best screen to do it on.

From Randar's screen head West one screen on the lower side of the river. Kill
one of the Blue Bugs and a hole will show up. Here an Old Woman is selling a
Bible for 3000 GOLD. When you buy it your GOLDmax will increase to 20000.

After getting the Bible head to Winkle's screen and kill the Red Frogs and
Green Slugs until you have about 6000 GOLD. Once you have enough money go West
one screen, South two screens, East one screen, and then South again for one
more screen. Kill two of the White Slugs to make a hole appear, it'll take
three hits to bring them down. Go inside and purchase the Potion for 6000 GOLD.

After you finish buying the Potion go North one screen and then West four
screens followed by one more North. The Red Jellies here give you 300 GOLD and
die after three hits. Jellies will slowly move and then stop and then move
again until they're in direct contact with you. Kill them until you've reached
your GOLDmax of 20000. If too many congregate on the other side of the river
stand right next to it facing up and attack, your sword can reach across to hit
the enemies on the other side. To get to the hole on the other side go one
screen each of South, West, North, and East. Inside the hole is Winkle.

From where Winkle is head West two screens and then North one to reach a place
with Black Skeletons. They take three hits to kill if you need to kill them but
for now you can just avoid them and strike the small tree once to reveal a hole
leading to Randar.

Leave Randar and head West one screen and North one screen. Kill any of the
Blue Mice that get in your way by hitting them twice and get to the bottom of
the lone tree. Mice, like most enemies, chase you around the screen trying to
touch you to cause damage. Once at the tree get right next to it and swing your
sword three times to make a hole appear. Make your way to the hole and but the
Aqua Boots the Old Woman is selling. With these boots you can now walk on top
of water, thus making travel easier and safer.

Head back to Winkle's screen and kill some more Red Jellies until you've once
again reached you maximum amount of GOLD, 20000. From here walk along the river
East three screens and then go South two screens, from there head West three
screens and then South two more screens. Kill two of the Red Crows, at one hit
a piece, and go into the newly appeared hole. Here you can buy the Ring of
Invisibility for 10000 GOLD. Despite it's name the ring only allows you to
destroy the Grey Stones you've seen scattered around. It takes three hits to
destroy one of the stones.

Make your way back to the Randar near the river and then go three screens
North. Destroy the two Grey Stones in the third row from the right and a hole
shows up. Go in it and buy the Pendant for 10000 GOLD. This Pendant will
protect you a bit so that you take less damage from enemies.

After you get the Pendant head back again to the Red Jellies and get yourself
about 16000 GOLD. From there head East three screens, South four screens, and
East one more screen. Watch out for the Green Frogs and Green Slugs and hit the
bush three times. Go in the hole that pops up and buy the Bible for 4000 GOLD.
Your GOLDmax will now be 24000.

From there head two screens West and kill four of the Blue Bugs to open a hole
to Dina. As usual, unless strapped for cash, avoid her.

From Dina's screen go North one screen, West another, North yet another, and
then take the highest way East. It takes two hits to kill the White Bats here,
but after two of them die a hole will make itself visible. Go in the hole to
buy a Potion for 6000 GOLD.

After buying the Potion head back West one screen and then take the right path
South one screen. Kill two of the Red Crows and go in the hole that appears.
Pay the 6000 GOLD for the Bible to raise your max to 28000.

Go East two screens when you're done there and avoid the White Bats as you make
your way towards the bush. Hit it once and the hole that appears will take you
to Fosbus's Dungeon.

II. Fosbus's Dungeon:                                                    [FDII]
------------------------

This dungeon is another of the side-scrolling ones so as usual don't touch the
left side of the screen.

Make your way right avoiding or killing the Red Snakes and Caterpillars, which
now fall after only one hit. A short ways in you'll come across a Flea. Fleas
bounce up and down quickly in one spot and die after only one hit. Keep heading
right and at the deadend strike the two lower blocks to clear a path for
yourself.

Right past there jump up to the gravestone and strike it to lower the platform
in front of you so you can advance. Ignore the two blocks on the ceiling and
dodge the Fireball that comes at you.

Walk up to the grave stome and hit it to lower the ceiling so you can get up.
Be careful you don't jump too far back and accidentally exit the dungeon.

Destroy the three blocks in your way and head right until you encouter a Giant
Snake. Instead of spitting Red Snakes at you this one fires three Fireballs.
Avoid them and kill the Giant Snake like you did the previous ones. Destroy the
two blocks in your way just behind it to advance.

Try to fall down the hole to the lower path to avoid the enemies in front of
you and then attack the gravestone. Leap across the lowered platform and
destroy the block in your path. Be careful though as it contains three Red
Snakes.

Head further right and then duck down and strike the gravestone to lower it.
The two blocks in you way both contain Red Snakes so use caution when you
destroy them. Take either path but watch out for the Spider just past where
they meet up. Spiders hang from the ceiling and then drop down repeatedly. You
can kill them with only one hit from your sword.

After the spider carefully jump across the platforms to reach the next area.
You can safely fall in the first part, but if you miss a jump at the second one
you'll have to exit the dungeon.

Immediately afterwards you meet another Giant Snake. This one sends out a
Fireball to fly around it and then launches it at you. It can have three at a
time so watch yourself as you get close to kill it. When it's dead destroy the
six blocks underneath you and the two of the wall in your way.

Head right and watch out for enemies, especially the Red Snakes in the blocks
along your path. When the path splits you can safely take any. Climb the stairs
and you'll face a normal Red Snake spitting Giant Snake, Kill it and break two
of the blocks behind it to reach Fosbus.

III. Fosbus:                                                             [FIII]
---------------

Fosbus looks to have the head of a woman attached to the body of a clawed
lizard. She moves back and forth across the top of the screen and throws a
round ball at you. When the ball striks the bottom of the screen it explodes
into four balls that then move back up the screen. As soon as one ball hits
the bottom she throws another one. Dodge the balls and walk just underneath her
and swing to hit. It'll take about thirty-six hits to bring her down. When she
dies your health restores and you'll have your maximum amount of GOLD, 26000.

Once out of the dungeon head North one screen and avoid the Red Crows as you
move towards the hole. Go inside and buy the Crystal from the Old Woman for
8000 GOLD.

================================= E. Warlic: =========================== [WARE]

I. The Great Sea:                                                        [TGSI]
--------------------

After you've bought the Crystal it's time to go do some backtracking again.
Make your way all the way back towards the Valley Entrance. One the screen with
the bridge between the Entrance and the Desert walk along the water West one
screen. Kill one of the Blue Cyclones and a hole will appear. To kill a Blue
Cyclone hit it twice. When they first appear Cyclones move around in a circle
and then launch themselves towards whatever direction they appeared. Inside the
hole is an Old Woman selling a Purple Mea for 5000 GOLD. When your health is
completely drained the Purple Mea will restore five bars of health and then
dissapear. If you have both types of Mea the Purple one will be used first. If
you ever end up using the one you have come back to here to buy it as it is
much cheaper than the ones you will find later on.

Once you've bought the Purple Mea head East two screens. Kill two of the Blue
Cyclones here and enter the hole. Here there is a Potion for only 500 GOLD so
sure to buy it.

When you're done here make your way back to the screen with Winkle on the
Beach, it's the one with the Red Jellies. Go South one screen and break the
Grey Stone to reveal a hole. Be careful of the White Slugs as they take three
hits to kill. Inside is a Green Mea for 1000 GOLD.

From there go one screen North and one screen West. Avoid the Blue Warthogs
and destroy the Grey Stone there. The Blue Warthogs take two hits to die. Go
inside the hole to find a Bible for 4000 GOLD. Once you've bought it your
GOLDmax will increase to 32000.

Go South two screens and avoid the Grey Bats there. Destroy the lower Grey
Stone to reveal another hole. Enter it and you'll find a Potion being sold for
2000 GOLD.

If after you've bought the Potion you need healing and can't make it Randar go
one screen South and kill two of the Grey Bats to make a hole show up that
leads to Enny.

From the Potion screen head two screens North, one screen West, two more
screens North, one screen East, and one screen South. Deal with the Black
Skeletons as best you can as you destroy the first Grey Stone on the left side
of the screen. Go inside the hole and purchase the Potion for 8000 GOLD.

Return to Winkle's screen once again and kill the Red Jellies until you have
around 21000 GOLD. After you've gotten your money go two screens West and four
screens South. Kill one of the Red Cannibals to make a hole visible. Cannibals
move randomly around the screen throwing axes at you. These Red Cannibals take
two hits to kill and you cannot block their axes with your shield so use
caution. Go inside the hole and buy the Bible for 7000 GOLD to raise your max
to 38000.

When finished there go back North three screens and then go West one screen. On
this screen are Red Sharks which take two hits to kill. When Sharks appear they
start moving the direction you are from them and head straight across the
screen. When they move they'll eith swerve back and forth or go in a straight
line. Hit the bottom rock with your sword three times to reveal a hole. Here an
Old Woman is selling a Potion for 6000 GOLD.

After buying the Potion go West one screen and North two more. Kill two of the
Blue Cyclones and go in the hole that appears. Buy the Bible inside for 5000
GOLD to make your GOLDmax 44000.

If for some crazy reasone you'd like to visit Dina go one screen West and one
screen North. Here avoid the Blue Cyclones and destroy the Grey Stone to make
her hole appear.

From where you bought your latest Bible go one screen West and one screen South
to come to another screen with Blue Cyclones. Destroy the Grey Stone furthest
left and go inside for a 15000 GOLD Purple Mea.

Go two more screens South from the Purple Mea and kill two of the Grey Bats. In
the hole that appears is another Bible for 3000 GOLD. After you buy it your
Goldmax will be 50000.

Now go one screen North and one screen East. Here is a screen filled with both
Blue Cyclones and Grey Stones. move to the third row from the left and break
the two Grey Stones to open the hole to Warlic's dungeon.

II. Warlic's Dungeon:                                                    [WDII]
------------------------

This dungeon is another of the top down variety so make sure you don't touch
the bottom of the screen.

Immediately the path will split so take the left way. Watch out for the Flies
and Ladybugs that appear here. Flies will weave back and forth in one place
when they appear.

Make your way through the obstuctions and watch for the Blue Bats that appear.
When the path breaks up into four take the one furthest left. When the paths
meet up again a Giant Bat will show up. As you fight the Giant Bat the path
will split again. When it does be sure to take the right one or else you'll end
up at a deadend.

Keep working your way though and you'll come across another Giant Bat. As you
fight it be sure not to get caught on any of the walls in your way. As you keep
moving through you'll meet one final Giant Bat before reaching the exit.

III. Warlic:                                                             [WIII]
---------------

Warlic is actually a pair of rhinocerous looking creatures. Their only attack
is to run straight at you. First one will rush you and then when they reach the
point you were standing at when they started retreat back. The other will do
basically the same thing, but it won't target you, it'll just move about at
random. After they retreat they'll pause before starting the process over
again. If they run into a wall they'll bounce off and continue moving until
it's time for it to retreat. The best strategy is to constantly keep moving,
then pick one and keep attacking it until it dies. They each take fourty-four
hits to die so this will be a fairly long battle. once they die your health and
GOLD will max out and you'll leave the dungeon.

After defeating Warlic head West one screen, South three, East one, and North
one. Watch out for the Blue Cyclones and enter the hole. Buy the Crystal inside
for 20000 GOLD.

================================= F. Crawky: =========================== [CRAF]

I. The Cursed Forest:                                                    [TCFI]
------------------------

If you need a Green Mea after the fight go one screen South, one screen West,
two screens North, and three screens East. Here a hole guarded by Blue Cyclones
will be that wasn't there before. Inside of which is a Green Mea for 5000 GOLD.

For the last time go back to the Red Jellies and max out your GOLD. When you've
done that head three screens West, three screens North, two more screens West,
another three screens North, two screens East, and a final three screens North.
Here you'll face two types of enemies, White Knights and Spectres. The White
Knights take four hits to kill and you can't block their swords with your
shield. At your current abilities Spectres cannot be hurt at all so avoid them.
Kill two of the White Knights and enter the hole. Here resides the Legendary
Sword, which you can buy for 50000 GOLD. Snap it up and you'll now do twice as
much damage as you did previously.

After you've bought the sword take the right path South one screen and then go
East two more. Kill the Blue Cannibals here until you have around 5000 GOLD and
then head North one screen. The Blue Cannibals will fall to only one hit and
give you 330 GOLD, but you cannot block their axes so watch out for them. Once
you've made it north hit four of the White Moles once each to kill them and
make a hole show up. In the hole is a Bible for 5000 GOLD. After you buy it
your GOLDmax will be 56000.

Go South two screens and strike the red rock just to the right of the dead tree
to reveal a hole to Randar. White Warthogs guard this screen, but you can kill
them with one hit.

From Randar go West one screen, North one, West another, and South one last
screen. Hit the bush on the farr side of the four red rocks to open up a hole
to Dina.

Now go one screen South, two screens West, and two screens North. Here you'll
come across White Jellies. These take three hits to kill, but reward you with
400 GOLD so take the time to raise your GOLD to it's max. Go East one screen
and kill two of the While Warthogs to bring a hole into existence. Go inside
and buy the Potion there for 8000 GOLD.

Now go back West one screen and then South one. Avoid the White Moles and break
the Grey Stone near the top of the screen to open a hole up. Inside is a
Purple Mea for 20000 GOLD, just incase you desperately need one.

Now go one more screen South and kill two of the White Knights. After you do a
hole with a Bible in it will appear. Buy the Bible for 7000 GOLD to raise your
maximum to 64000.

Head back North two screens and kill the White Jellies until your GOLD reaches
60000. When you've collected enough money go South five screens. Hit the bush
here with your sword to reveal Winkle's hole.

Go East one screen and then take the lower path East one screen again. Dodge
the Red Bats, which only take one hit to die if you must fight them, then break
the Grey Stone, and go inside. Here you can buy the Remedia Shield for 40000
GOLD. When you do you'll now be able to block anything your foes throw at you,
literally.

Make your way West one screen and then North another. Watch out for the Blue
Cannibals and strike the left of the two red rocks three times. A hole will
show up with a 10000 GOLD Potion inside.

After you buy the Potion go North one screen and kill one of the Red Bugs, it
will die in one hit. Go in the now open hole to find Enny.

After meeting up with Enny go East one screen, kill two of the Orange Bees
and enter the hole that appears. Buy the Bible inside for 10000 GOLD and your
GOLDmax will become 72000.

Go South two screens, West another two, then North three more followed by two
Easts and one more North. Take the right path North again then go West one
screen and then South one more. Kill the White Jellies here unti you've got
15000 GOLD the go South again. Kill two of the White Slugs on this screen and
enter the hole that appears. Inside is a Potion for 15000 GOLD.

Now go one last screen South and destroy the Grey Stone further right to open
the hole to Crawky's Dungeon. Watch out for the Red Bugs here.

II. Crawky's Dungeon:                                                    [CDII]
------------------------

As Crawky's Dungeon is another side-scrolling one make sure you avoid the left
side of the screen.

Make your way through avoiding the enemies and destroy the blocks in your way.
The first and last one of this set each contain Red Snakes so be careful.

A short ways in you'll come across a Giant Snake that spits Red Snakes. After
you get past that continue right and when the path splits take the upper way.
The blocks there have Red Snakes in them so take care when you destroy them.

When you come to a place with a platform right next to the ceiling hit the
statue in front of you to lower it. Just past there is another Giant Snake and
this one is a doozy. It'll send out a group of eight Fireballs which will
then chase you. a few seconds later, even if some of the Fireballs from the
previous wave are still around, it will launch eight more. Your best bet to
avoid getting knocked back to the left side of the screen is to jump straight
into the Giant Snake and swing away. You'll take a fair amount of damage, but
it's the best way to do it.

After you fight the Giant Snake break the block to release some Red Snakes and
then climb all of the way up above the enemies. At the end of the platform just
walk across the gap.

The two blocks in your path both have more Red Snakes in them. When the path
splits again take the low road and when you come across a statue with some
blocks above it near the ceiling DO NOT strike it or the blocks will lower
stopping your progress.

When you reach a deadend hit the statue in front of you to lower the platform
behind you. After that you'll come across another Red Snake spitting Giant
Snake.

Past that is another block with Red Snakes in it and then further along another
Giant Snake. This Giant Snake will send a wave of six Fireballs straight across
the screen. Kill the Fireballs to get close to the Giant Snake and then wail
away on it. After the Giant Snake destroy all the blocks in your way and
you'll find the exit.

III. Crawky:                                                             [CIII]
---------------

Crawky looks like a hairy creature with three bird-like faces. It'll move about
the middle of the room in a figure eight pattern spitting out rings. The rings
move slowly, but bounce off of the walls. After a couple seconds it'll spit
another and then another ring. A short while after they appear the rings will
dissapear. Crawky falls after only twenty hits restoring your health and maxing
out your GOLD.

After Crawky is dead go North three screens, West one screen, South two
screens, West two screens, and North three screens. Go in the hole, while
watching out for the Red Bugs that appear and killing any that get in your way
with one hit, and buy the Crystal for 30000 GOLD.

================================= G. Haidee: =========================== [HAIG]

I. The Great Forest:                                                     [TGFI]
-----------------------

Once the Crystal is yours make your way back South three screens, East two
screens, North two screens, taking the right part to the second one, East one
more screen, and South one screen. Fight the White Jellies until you have
reached your maximum amount of GOLD and then head South two more screens
followed by heading East two screens. Now head South one screen and take the
right path back North to the screen you just left. Avoid the Pink Moles and hit
the red stone five times with your sword to open a hole up. Go inside and
you'll find a Magic Mirror for 25000 GOLD. Purchase it to allow you to see and
hurt the Spectres now.

Now that you have the Magic Mirro go back South one screen, then East one and
finally North three. The hole here contains Randar and he's guarded by
Spectres. Spectres fly around in a figure eight pattern taking little notice of
you. It takes three hits to kill one of them and you get 500 GOLD for it.

Fight the Spectres until your GOLD is maxed out. When it is head South one
screen, take the left path back North one screen, go West one screen, and then
make your way North two more screens. Kill four of the Spectres and enter the
hole that appears. Here are the Ascent Boots which allow you to walk over
nearly everything. They cost 70000 GOLD, but are well worth it. With these
boots you can walk on top of any type of terrain except the large brown rocks
that form the edges, and ridges in, the valley.

When you've gotten the boots go East one screen. There are White Cannibals here
that you can kill with two hits from your sword. Your shield reflects their
axes so you don't need to worry about those. Inside the hole here is Dina.

Go South two screens and you'll be back with Randar and the Spectres. Kill the
Spectres until you've got about 34000 GOLD then head East five screens and
North one. Avoid the Bees here and strike the skull three times to reveal a
hole. Inside is another Pendant, this time for 25000 GOLD. Buy it and your
defense will increase.

Now make your way back South one screen, West four screens, and South one
screen. The White Cyclones here take two hits to kill so make your way through
them to the bottom right Grey Stone. Destroy it to make an odd looking hole
appear. Inside the hole is a Purple Mea for 15000 GOLD.

Make your way South four more screens from the one with the Purple Mea. Dodge
the Red Bugs and enter the hole. Here there is a Potion for 5000 GOLD.

Now go West two screens and North two screens. Kill four of the Blue Cyclones
here to open a hole. Inside is the last Potion, for 4000 GOLD.

You now have everything necessary to take on Haidee, but if you'd like to
collect everything then there are still a few more Bibles to find. Make your
way East one screen and then North three to return to Randar. Fight the
Spectres until you have 20000 GOLD. Now go SOuth four screens and West three
more. Dodge the Red Bats here for a few seconds until a hole appears. Go inside
for a Bible that costs 2000 GOLD. Buying it will raise your GOLDmax to 80000.

If you need another Purple Mea, and you have plenty of GOLD to spare, go East
one screen and then North one screen. Avoid the Red Bugs and destroy the Grey
Stone to open a hole with a 30000 GOLD Purple Mea inside.

After you've been to the Mea go East three screens. Kill four of the Red Crows
and enter the hole that get revealed. Buy the Bible there for 8000 GOLD to
raise you max to 90000.

After buying that Bible go West two screens and then South two screens to come
across some Bees. kill two of them and enter the hole to find the last Bible in
the game. It costs 10000 GOLD and will make your GOLDmax 100000.

When you're ready to face Haidee go four screens South of Randar. The enemies
here are Evil Randars, a fitting name because they can take your health
almost as fast as Randar can give it. Evil Randars move over all types of
terrain straight for you. If one stays on screen for a short while it will
shoot a small diamond shaped projectile that will bounce off of your shield. If
you want to fight them they take three hits to kill. To make the hole here show
up destroy the bottom right Grey Stone. In the hole is Haidee's Dungeon.

II. Haidee's Dungeon:                                                    [HDII]
------------------------

This is the final top down dungeon in the game and like all the previous ones
the bottom of the screen is to be avoided.

Immediately the path will split so take the right way. A short ways along it
will split again so this time go in the left path. Follow the right wall once
you get near it and move towards the top of the screen.

A Giant Bat will show up, but with the Legendary Sword you should be able to
dispose of it quickly. Just after the Giant Bat get near the top of the screen
and when you can start moving left go as quickly as you can.

Continue to make your way through the snaking passageway avoiding the enemies
and keeping well ahead of the bottom of the screen. After you pass the second
of two island blocks make your way to the very top of the screen and
when the path starts to head right start to walk backwards as well to avoid a
section of the wall that juts out.

After you pass that another Giant Bat will show up. Beyond there take the left
path when the main way splits and when you get through there you'll be
assualted by many enemies, including a Giant Bat. As you make your way through
you'll pass several sections of wall that spell out "HELP!!" just before
reaching the exit.

III. Haidee:                                                             [HIII]
---------------

Haidee is a big, green creature with low hair. His attack is to swing his hair
release three small bubbles that will slowly chase you. He does this three
times for a total of nine bubbles. When he's not waving his hair around he'll
also chase you. Ocassionally he'll stop to swing his hair again, but no bubbles
will appear unless the ones already around have been out long enough to
dissapear. To fight him walk around the room so that he and the bubbles become
seperated, then wait for him to swing his hair. When he does move in to get an
attack of two in then move away and repeat the process. After about fourty-two
hits he'll be dead. Your health will completely restore and you Gold will max
out for the last time.

When you've defeated Haidee go East oen screen and then North six screens to
find a hole with the final Crystal inside. It cousts 40000 GOLD, but you have
more than enough to buy it.

=============================== H. Golvellius: ========================= [GOLH]

I. Preparing for the final battle:                                       [PFTI]
-------------------------------------

Once you've bought the last Crystal make sure you have both types of Mea before
venturing on to the final dungeon. When you're ready head two screens North
from the Entrace to Haidee's Dungeon, then go three screens West, and then
finally three screens North. On this screen are both White Warthogs and
Spectres. Watch out for them as you make your way to the dead tree nearby. Hit
the right rock in front of it five times and it will open the hole to
Golvellius's Dungeon.

If you need health at any point Randar is one sreen East and one screen South.
There are White Warthogs on his screen so watch out as you hit the red rock to
the right of the dead tree once to open his hole.

II. Golvellius's Dungeon:                                                [GDII]
----------------------------

The games last dungeon is a side scrolling one, and like the previous ones
touching the left side of the screen will take you out of it.

Almost immediately you meet a Giant Snake. This one only spits Red Snakes
though so you don't have to worry too much. Once you're past it the block in
your way hold more Red Snakes.

When you come to a couple statues and some platforms go alond the upper path to
make it though and then do it again right afterwards. A short ways further
you'll need to take the upper way again before you meet a second Giant Snake.
This one spits out three Fireball.

Break the wall behind it and when you come to a series of platforms hop across
them to reach to other side. Go along a bit further and you'll meet another Red
Snake spitting Giant Snake.

After you kill the Giant Snake jump onto the platform and destory the two
sections of wall in front of you to get through. When the path splits again
stay along the upper route. After you get past there you'll face yet another
Giant Snake. This one constantly sends out a group of eight Fireballs that home
in on you. To kill it get yourself between the statue and the stairs and jump
up only after the Fireballs have either passed or you killed them.

After that fight you'll come across several blocks with Red Snakes in them and
then another Giant Snake on a set of stairs. This one only spits out Red Snakes
but you have to be careful because there's nothing to catch you if you start
getting pushed back by one of the Red Snakes.

Past there you'll walk thourgh a tunnle until it comes to an opening with a
Giant Snake in it. This one sends out a Fireball to fly around it then launches
it at you after a few seconds.

Walk a ways past that Giant Snake and you'll come across yet another one. This
one sends out a wave of sice Fireballs straight across the screen. Kill it and
when you reach a bunch of statues hit the second to last one with your sword to
lower a platform.

Once you've gotten past there you'll come across the last Giant Snake. This one
spits out Red Snakes like crazy so you have to be careful that you don't get
hit by too many. Step away from it and when it launches a bunch of Red Snakes
move in and hit it a few times before repeating the process.

When it dies try to collect all of the health orbs to make sure you have full
health. Walk right and you'll finish the dungeon and meet Golvellius.

III. Golvellius:                                                         [GIII]
-------------------

Golvellius is a big, hairy, purple monster that wears armor, has horns, and has
a long claw on each arm. Golvellius attacks by slowly moving towards you then
spitting a line of fire down the screen from it. After he spits this fire he'll
come after you very quickly and the only way you'll be able to doge him is to
move in a circle around the roomm. After rushing he'll start to move slowly
again and repeat the process. If you're not below him when he would normally
spit fire he'll jsut rush you instead. the best strategy is to move around the
room in a wide circle and have him chase you. The best time to attack him is
when he stops to spit fire, but you also have a chance to cause osme damage
when he slows down after a rush. If you get too far away he may start to move
the opposite direction from you and then cut you off when he rushes. If he does
this try to get to the corner furthest from him and then pick a direction to
dodge towards. After about twenty-four hits he'll die and you'll win the game.

When Golvellius is dead a movie will play and the credits will roll.

Baby Bats:
-------------

Created by Giant Bats they move around the screen after you.

Bats:
--------

All Bats will fly towards you in an arch and when they pass you will swoop back
around. The Bats found in the dungeons act the same as their overworld
counterparts.

Bees:
--------

Bees move towards you in a swriling pattern and attack by shooting some type of
ball at you.

----------------

Caterpillars appear and move back and forth between walls.

Cyclones:
------------

When they first appear Cyclones move around in a circle and then launch
themselves towards whatever direction they appeared.

Fireballs weave up and down as they head from the right side to the left side
of the screen.

Fleas:
---------

Fleas bounce up and down quickly in one spot.

Flies:
---------

Flies will weave back and forth in one place when they appear.

Frogs:
---------

Frogs hop left or right across the screen paying hardly any heed to you. When

If you're above or level to them when they appear every third hop will be an
exceptionally high one that will take them farther.

Giant Bats:
--------------

Giant Bats will swing back and forth in front of you but don't have an actual

Ladybugs show up directly above where you are and stay in one place.

Mice:
--------

Mice, like most enemies, chase you around the screen trying to touch you to
cause damage.

Moles:
---------

Moles move randomly around the screen underground ocassionally popping up to
let you attack them. You can only hurt them when they come up so wait near one
and then quickly strike to kill it.

Sharks:
----------

When Sharks appear they start moving the direction you are from them and head
straight across the screen. When they move they'll eith swerve back and forth
or go in a straight line.

Skeletons:
-------------

Skeletons attack by moving towards you very quickly. If you're not careful you
can be overrun and killed before you can escape the screen.

All Snakes in the overworld will move towards you and ocassionally jump, for

_______________________________________________________________________________

--------------------------------- 11. Bosses: -------------------------- [BO11]
_______________________________________________________________________________

These boss descriptions appeared earlier in the guide in the appropriate
sections of the walkthrough.

Desba:
---------

The first boss of the game looks like an angry snowman. Desba moves back and
forth along the top of the screen and attacks by throwing several snowflakes
up and then letting them move down the screen. To get near him walk through the
gaps between the snowflakes. Hit him a few times and then back off until he's
finished attacking again. After about twenty-two or so hits, or around eleven
extended attacks, he'll die and explode. Your health will refill and your GOLD
will max out and then you'll exit the dungeon automatically.

Rolick:
----------

Rolick looks kind of like a hermit crab with a shell. When the fight starts
he's near the top of the screen. Rolick's movement and attack are the same
thing. He'll start by entering his shell and then spinning towards you. He'll
then chase you a short ways and then stop and come out of his shell momentarily
before starting the process all over again. You can attack him at any time, but
obviously it's safer to do it when he's not spinning after you. To kill him
you'll have to hit him around 38 times. When he dies your health restores and
your GOLD maxes out.

Bachular:
------------

Bachular is a skeletal, three-headed, winged creature. It moves around by
teleporting from one spot to another. It attacks by shooting out three balls
of fire that stay on screen for a good amount of time. It will try to use these
to build a wall around itself so that you can't get to it. To get near it
either walk between or around the fireballs. After you stirking it about 32
times it will fall and your health and money will become their maximums.

Fosbus:
----------

Fosbus looks to have the head of a woman attached to the body of a clawed
lizard. She moves back and forth across the top of the screen and throws a
round ball at you. When the ball striks the bottom of the screen it explodes
into four balls that then move back up the screen. As soon as one ball hits
the bottom she throws another one. Dodge the balls and walk just underneath her
and swing to hit. It'll take about thirty-six hits to bring her down. When she
dies your health restores and you'll have your maximum amount of GOLD, 26000.

Warlic:
----------

Crawky:
----------

Crawky looks like a hairy creature with three bird-like faces. It'll move about
the middle of the room in a figure eight pattern spitting out rings. The rings
move slowly, but bounce off of the walls. After a couple seconds it'll spit
another and then another ring. A short while after they appear the rings will
dissapear. Crawky falls after only twenty hits restoring your health and maxing
out your GOLD.

Haidee:
----------

Golvellius:
--------------

--------------------------------- 12. Cheats: -------------------------- [CH12]
_______________________________________________________________________________

Invulnerability:
-------------------

If you have all of the potions and both types of Mea and end up losing all of
your health instead of dieing you'll become invulnerable to all damage. The
effect wears off if your health gets restored in any way.

Sound Test:
--------------

Hold Up + Left on the D-Pad and Buttons 1 and 2 as the movie where Kelesis
enters the cave at the beginning of the game plays. Once inside let go and you
will be able to use the Sound Test. To exit and continue the game press the
Pause button.

Hidden Hole:
---------------

In the last screen of the Meadow before the Beach is a group of trees and a
Grey Stone. Kill twenty of the White Slugs here to make a hole appear. The
fairy inside will tell you to stop picking on defenseless animals.

_______________________________________________________________________________

-------------------------------- 13. Glitches -------------------------- [GL13]
_______________________________________________________________________________

Misplaced Screen:
--------------------

In the middle of the Cursed Forest is a screen with impassable rocks on the top
and right sides. This screen is a copy of the screen in the upper right corner
of the Cursed Forest. The hole and enemies there are correct, but the screen
itself is not. If you try to enter the screen from the top or right by
following the river that runs through the forest you'll get stuck.

Missing Hole:
----------------

Just south of the gap between the Great Forest and the Graveyard is a screen
with many Grey Stones. The hole that appears there is missing the actual hole
sprite.
