SECTION 0NE - REQUIREMENTS
Professional Graphic Program a.k.a Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro
Any computer that can run these kind of programs (Macs are good!)
Sonic Jam Disc for Sega Saturn
*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-
SECTION TWO - IMPORTING INTO PHOTOSHOP
To open a file in Raw form in Photoshop:
1) Open Adobe Photoshop
2) Go to File: Open
3) Select the option "Show all Files". This should bring a drop down menu,
select "Raw" in the menu.
4) Go to your Sonic Jam disc, which I believe would be the D: drive on a
windoze (I'm on a mac =P), open the "MDG2" folder. This should bring up a
long list of wierd files, we'll explore what files are what later
5) After you press open, you should get a dialog box asking the settings of the
files. It should be set at the following:
Dimensions
Width: 640 pxels
Height: 448 pixels
Channels
Count: 1
Depth: 8 bits
Header
Size: 0 bytes
6) Now all you have to do is invert it (control+i / command+i). It should be
offset on the left, which is fine 'cuz you can edit that.
