Right after battle start, coordinate all your party members towards the center, where you should take on the
eyeball monsters first. Once they are down, head for the Boss. But careful: The Shining Force leader (Synbios,
Medion or Julian) must in a corner to avoid the magic of the Boss. One the guy´s outta magic, he´s easy. The
leader (and, of course Gracia) have to stay outta the way of the boss. Now, an archer/tank unit can take on the
BOSS from save distance. Just put some sticking tape over the C Button and have a pizza.
How to get Profound in Level 11.
I´m happy to tell that there is a way to get Profound in your party in scenario
3/Battle 11.
You only get him if you imported your game from scenario 2, as you may know.
Anyway, I dunno if the thing also works with Equal. Profounds girlfriend is held
by the mage, but it seems there is no way sparing Profounds life and go for the
boss, cuz Profound blocks the small pass to him. Now the Pegasus Knight in your
party fills in. Fly with him over the mountains and attack the boss. Profound
will backtrack and attack him, too. The rest of the force should quickly do the
battle till the end. If you have characters (like the dragon) in party which are
controlled by the computer, make sure you leave enough enemies left to keep
these guys busy, so that they don´t attack Profound.
