Remember, it's not complete! I just write some character's info, Game

CHARACTER LIST :

OK, this is just the first version. I know this isn't complete.
But at least I wanna show you all the Playlable characters' and allies'
names.

Note : I haven't found Robby, Jade, and Penko... So I don't give any
comments to them. I haven't write the "Join at" because I'm not sure
about where I get them. I promise I'll make a complete Character List in
the next version.

1. Playlable Characters

Medion
Race : Human
Sex : Male
Type : Knight
Weapon : Dagger - Attack from close and medium range.
Sword - Medium weapon. Has some great super attack.
Sabre - Strong weapon. Has few super attack.
Fence - Medium weapon. Has many super attack.
Magic : Warp - Escape from a battle.
Lightning - Lightning elemental attack.
Comments :
I think he is great... As good as Sinbios from the 1st
secenario. He
has same magic as Sinbios, Warp and Lightning. His best weapon is Fence.
If Sinbios has a Phoenix Magic, Medion has a Red Dragon Magic!!!

Campbell
Race : Centaur
Sex : Male
Type : Centaur Knight
Weapon : Lance - Strong weapon. Close range only. Chain super attack.
Partisan - Medium weapon. Close range only.
Spear - Weak weapon. Attack from close and medium range.
Comments :
Like the other Centaur, Campbell is fast and can walk in a long
range.
He is great! Just like Dantares from the 1st secanario. Unlike Dantares,
I equip Campbell with Spear.

Synthesis

Type : Magician
Weapon : The mage and healer character has three kind of weapons. It
doen't matter what did you choose for the character, because it looks
same.
Magic : Fire - Fire elemental attack.
De Soul - Evil Attack, instant death.
Lightning - Lightning elemental attack.
Comments :
Good magician. I think she's stronger than Masqurin from the
first
scenario. Use Summoner Staff for her fourth magic. I choose Thor Staff
as her final weapon.

Ullud
Race : Elf
Sex : Male
Type : Healer
Weapon : The mage and healer character has three kind of weapons. It
doen't matter what did you choose for the character, because it looks
same.
Magic : Cure - Fill HP.
Antidote - Heal character from sickness.
Cure-All - Fill HP for a group of character.
Comments :
Worse than Grace from the first scenario. He is extremally weak.
To
make him stronger, I use Electro Zapper as his fourth magic.

Walz
Race : Centaur
Sex : Female
Type : Centaur Archer
Weapon : Arrow - Long range. High attack.
Crossbow Arrow - Medium to Long range. Has many super attack.
Rocket Arrow - Medium to Long range. Continue with explotion.
Comments :
I love this type. Cross over between Centaur and Archer. She
isn't as
strong as Justice from the first scenario, though...

Rock
Race : Dwarf
Sex : Male
Type : Guardsman
Weapon : Axe - Close range. Has few super attack, but very strong.
Boomerang Axe - Weak weapon. Close and medium range.
Mace - Strong weapon. Close range only.
Comments :
Rock is great. Like the other Guardsmen, he is strong in attack
an
defencive. Rock can walk in a long range too!

Bernard
Race : Elf
Sex : Male
Type : Archer
Weapon : Arrow - Long range. High attack.
Crossbow Arrow - Medium to Long range. Has many super attack.
Rocket Arrow - Medium to Long range. Continue with explotion.
Comments :
I've told you that my favourite type in this game is Archers.
Bernard
is the best!!! he is super strong! Much better than Heiward from the
first scenario. His super attacks is very easy to perform!!!

Hazuki
Race : Human
Sex : Female
Type : Ninja
Magic : Blast - Wind elemental attack.
Charm - Charm opponents.
Attack Up - Rise the attack of a group of characters.
Weapon : Samurai - Semiliar to Swords. Easy to use the special attack.
Shuriken - Semiliar to Arrows. Easy to use the special attack.
Comments :
Super quick and can walk in a long range, this is the main
advantages
of Hazuki. Especially for her, I don't equip her with cursed things.

Zero
Race : Birdsman
Sex : Male
Type : Air Knight
Weapon : Shoulder - Strong weapon. Easy and many super move.
Air Knights can equip some swords too. If you equip them with a
sword, they'll have chain super attack.
Comments :
Actually he is great... Maybe as great as Findeng... But too
bad, he
often leave Medion's party. It makes his level low... But he might be a
great and useful if you build his level.

David
Race : Elf
Sex : Male
Type : Gladiator
Weapon : Dagger - Weakest weapon. Attack from close and medium range.
Boomerang Axe - Medium weapon. Attack from close and medium
range.
Spear - Strongest weapon. Attack from close and medium range.
Comments :
A new type! David is good character. He is quick and can walk in
a long
range. He has a close-and-long weapon only. Use Spear as his weapon...
It's the best in my opinion.

Hedoba
Race : Elf
Sex : Female
Type : Mage
Weapon : The mage and healer character has three kind of weapons. It
doen't matter what did you choose for the character, because it looks
same.
Magic : Ice - Ice elemental attack.
Angel Mother - Summon the mother of angel.
Tidal Waves - Summon a huge creature from water.
Comments :
I love her... I really love her. She is cute and preety, and
she's
better than Noon from the first scenario. Especially for her fourth
weapon, I equip her with Golem Staff.

Julian
Race : Human
Sex : Male
Type : Knight
Weapon : Dagger - Attack from close and medium range.
Sword - Medium weapon. Has some great super attack.
Sabre - Strong weapon. Has few super attack.
Fence - Medium weapon. Has many super attack.
Magic : Warp - Escape from a battle.
Lightning - Lightning elemental attack.
Comments :
Well what do I have to say... He is very great! But he isn't as
great as Medion. Anyway, like in the first scenario, he won't join your
party forever!... Well... Actually, he is the main character in scenario
3.

Donhort
Race : Centaur
Sex : Male
Type : Centaur Knight
Weapon : Lance - Strong weapon. Close range only. Chain super attack.
Partisan - Medium weapon. Close range only.
Spear - Weak weapon. Attack from close and medium range.
Comments :
I really hate this crazy oldman! He joined me, but I can't
control him.
Fortunately, he left my party like Julian. Thanks god! I think you can
control him in scenario 3, because he joined Julian's side.

Hera
Race : Elf
Sex : Female
Type : Monk
Weapon : Fighting Glove - Medium attack. Has many super attack
Super Glove - Big glove. High attack. Has few super attack.
Claw - Medium attack. Easy super attack.
Magic : Cure - Fill HP.
Def Up - Raise defensive for a group of character.
Magic Def. Up - Raise magic defensive for a group of characters.
Comments :
The only Monk in this scenario. Hera is maybe the weakest Monk,
if you
compare her with Ailin and Kahn. Don't use her to attack enemies, but
use her to back-up the attacker.

Robby
Race : Robot
Sex : None
Type : Fighting Machine
Weapon : Robo Arm - Special weapon for Robby. Close and medium range.
Robby can equips arrows too... But I always equip him with
Robo Arm.

Arthur
Race : Centaur
Sex : Male
Type : Holy Centaur
Magic : Fire - Fire elemental attack.
Ice - Ice elemental attack.
Weapon : Lance - Strong weapon. Close range only. Chain super attack.
Partisan - Medium weapon. Close range only.
Spear - Weak weapon. Attack from close and medium range.
Comments :
Again, a new type. Arthur is not as strong as Centaur Knights,
but he
has magic! However he has only two magic and you can raise their
level!!! Equip him with Partisan.

Garosh
Race : Elf
Sex : Male
Type : Archer
Weapon : Arrow - Long range. High attack.
Crossbow Arrow - Medium to Long range. Has many super attack.
Rocket Arrow - Medium to Long range. Continue with explotion.
Comments :
As strong as Heiward, I think. He is very deadly and his super
attack
is easy to use. Equip him with crossbow arrows.

Jade
Race : Human
Sex : Male
Type : Tank Rider
Weapon : ? (Rocket Arrow, maybe)

Penko
Race : Pinguin
Sex : Female (Pen is a male!!!)
Type : ?
Weapon : Baek - You cannot unequip this!

Papetts
Race : Human

Type : Monster Tamer
Weapon : Whip - Papetts' only weapon.
Comments :
A very good character... My second favourite character (first is
Medion). I love him because he has an ability to recruit monsters!!! I
suggest you to recruit as maniy monster as possible as soon as you have
Papetts.

2. Allies

Join at : At the beginning of this game.
Comments :
He'll join you forever. He can keep your weapons, armors, and
items (like a storage). He can change your party member too!

Gracia

Join at : After a great battle with red armies

Comments :
I think he is a cool character. Yeah, he is just a boy, but I
think he has super strong magic... I hope he is playlable at the third
scenario.

Honesty
Race : Centaur
Sex : Female
Status : Flying Centaur General
Join at : Nope... She won't join you.
Comments :
She is the one who stop the battle between Sinbios and Medion in
this game ending.

King Dorminante
Race : Human
Sex : Male
Status : King of Republic
(am I correct?)
Join at : After you saved him.
Comments :
He is the king that Sinbios looking arround. He is quite strong
in
battle.

SHORT WALKTROUGH:

Chapter 1
* If Sinbios saved Garosh in battle 2 in scenerio 1, in Saraband city
(1st city), talk to guy in west area of the town to get a silver ring
* In Balsoma town(2nd city), use antidote on Walz and she will join.
Then talk to Rock and he will join too.
* If Sinbios saved Bernard in Balsoma Town, in 3rd city, Bernard is on
the balcony on 2nd story of a house.

Chapter 2
* In first battle, don`t kill the female officer (Boss), kill all the
others, then order any one to talk to Medion, answer yes twice , the
battle will stop. I don`t know the effect of this.
* In 2nd city, go to the allies headquarters (not Medion's
headquarters), check vase for chicken food, use it on one of the
chickens in the city, it will follow you.

Chapter 3
* In 1st city, one of the rocks in one of the houses on the trees is
movable (just press in the direction of the rock), it will review a hole
for Medion to drop down.
* In 2nd battle, don`t attack Hedoba, she will join you at the end of
battle.

Chapter 4
* In 1st battle, save all the villagers, especially the one with items.
* After 1st battle, 2nd battle follows, do not fight, immediately use
spell to return to 1st city. Talk to the head villager, and answer yes,
take the map in the treasure box in the room. Find the villager whom you
saved (the one with items), he is in one of the house, and answer yes,
to get Robby`s eyes.
* Go for 2nd battle now and use Robby`s eyes on the statue found in the
treasure room, and Robby will join Medion. Never kill the theives
before Robby joins .
* In 3rd battle, check the floating ball and get ice spell, there is one
area in the water where you can use it to freeze the ice. Or if you got
Hedoba, she can use the ice spell to freeze it too.
* In 5th battle (2nd battle on the ship ), kill one Boss (whose HP is
known), then the other boss (whose HP is full of ???) will reveal his
trueself, then use the crystall ball Zero is carrying on the boss to
break his
protective shell (just like the battle with the Big Octopus).

Chapter 5
* It is now back to the very begining city, Saraband city, Arthur is on
the balcony on the 2nd storey of a house.
* Use key you just get from previous chapter on the wall of the castle
(The place in chapter one where Ullud and Sythesis find a tratior using
a secret passage to get into the city).
* In the 1st battle, kill the first guard to get a key, use the key to
free your team mates, have the team mates cheack the tables for their
equipments and then fight the battle.
* 3 ways to get to battle 2, nothing different in chosing which way.
* After 2nd battle, back in city, if Sinbios saved Garosh in scenerio 1,
Garosh is waiting at the exit. If Sinbios never saved Garosh, Garosh`s
brother Jade will be at the entrance. Go out of city for next battle.
* If Sinbios hit Fear in scenerio 1 and got a key, Zero would have taken
the key from Sinbios to save the purple official trapped in the ship,
and now would come back to join you with the purple officier. The Purple
officier would stay with you forever but would not be under your
control, he would protect the king from now on.
* In 3rd battle, if Sinbios saved Garosh in scenerio 1 and Garosh joined
Medion in scenerio 2, the boss in this battle would be Jade. It would be
a tragedy between brothers (Garosh vs Jade).
* In 2nd city, check the pigs and all the 3 will follow you, take them
over the bridge and they will find an egg, use it on the chicken in the
headquarters to hatch penko. Penko joins .

Chapter 6
* If Sinbios killed the small dragon in scenerio 1 in a cave, in battle
2, the mother dragon wil appear and it will causes rock to fall down and
block one of the exit of the cave. If Sinbios didn`t kill the small
dragon, in this battle, the small dragon will appear, and the exit will
not be blocked by rocks. There is 2 items in the exit, after getting
them, go back to kill the boss.
* In 2nd city, if Sinbios didn`t recruit Pen to join the team in
scenerio 1, Pen now will be in this city (one of the corners of the
city), talk to him, Papetts will be in the bar. Talk to Pappets. He'll
joins. This only happens if Pen didn`t join Sinbios in scenerio 1, if
Pen did join, Papetts wouldn`t be there in the bar. There's something
strange in my quest... Pen joined me in scenario 1, but Pappets joined
me too!!! Strange, huh?
* After battle 3, players can chose whether or not to enter the temple,
there is 8 stages in the temple, last boss of temple in stage 8 is a
witch.
* Battle 4, also the last battle of the game, one group of the enemies
is the 2nd team of Sinbios' force (The group which in scenerio one went
to open the water dam), if player continues scenerio 2 with a saved game
from
scenerio 1, and if player trains the 2nd team too strong, I think he
will have a very hard time here. But!!!!, whether or not to defeat
Sinbios' 2nd team depends on the player, since Sinbios 2nd team is not
one of the bosses, you can aviod attaking them.

TIPS AND TRICK :

Remove level and health display:
Hold Start during a physical or magic attack.

Showing direction:
By pressing Z, it will show you the directions to church & headquarters
in new towns.

Great items in the shops :
For any weapon or tool shop, here's a little trick that will
give you awesome items. First, talk to the shopkeeper (hit A or C). Then
just mash on the B button to cancel everything (as if you decided to
leave immediately without buying anything). You should result in having
stopped talking to the shopkeeper and you are standing there doing
nothing. I call this method "harassment."
Basically, you want to "harass" the shopkeeper until he/she
offers you an item (since you leave so many times without buying a
single thing!). Watch out though, the shopkeeper may offer you an item
the FIRST time you "harass" Anyway, if you start seeing the shopkeeper
saying something unusual, stop your B button mashing so you can choose
"YES" to buy the item.
I have always gotten an item that is superior in comparison. For
weapons, I got a better staff or a cooler axe (just two examples). For
items, I have even gotten a HP rain for a cheap price. So you get the
idea. I know that my harassment method is kind of intuitive, so those
who figure it out by themselves get more fun out of the game than by
reading this hint and ruining it for themselves.

Note : It works in almost Shining game... I used to did it in Shining In
The Holy Ark... But it usually works in item shop...

Finally the big secret, remember the character who throws Julian in the
waterfall, doesn`t he looks familar if you ever play "Shining In The
Holy Ark", and remember a little boy asking you to find his father in
"Shining In The Holy Ark", but no matter how hard you tries, you can`t
find his father. Well, now he has grown up into a fine warrior and
became on of the main characters in "Shining Force 3". Yup, his name's
Julian.
