1.Introduction

To continue the tradition started by Ricardo A. Lafauire Jr., I've made this
FAQ to reveal the winning quotes and endings of Night Warriors (and possibly
the rest of the DarkStalkers series). Why not? I've read some magazines
that reveal game endings so I might as well continue the trend. Note: The
endings are the same in arcade version and the import version, Vampire
Hunter, as well as in Darkstalkers (the first one, in arcade and Playstation
versions), with the exception of the added endings of Donovan Bane,
Hsien-Ko, Huitzil, and Pyron. So this document refers to those items as
well.

ago. I will defend my people and my homeland for all eternity!"

BISHAMON

[The screen pans to a woman standing behind him.]

"Orin! My Love."

[He gets up.]

"I understand now. My oath to defend my land and people was not enough. I

[They both disappear. The screen fades to black. The screen returns with a
picture of a shack near a road leading to the mountains. First Bishamon,
then Orin, leave the house and go up the road. Fade to black.]

DEMITRI MAXIMOFF

wine glass to the moon in the red sky with moving clouds.]

"A toast to my eternal rule! The moon will be my scepter, and the stars are
but jewels in my crown!"

[Fade to black. The screen appears with a picture of Demitri sitting in the
dark.]

"With the night and all its forces under my command, nothing can stop me!"

[A light flashes on, revealing two women embracing his body.]

"Soon, even the day dwellers will bare their throats to me!"

DONOVAN BAINE

Forced to absorb the evil of his defeated opponents. Donovan begins to
mutate as the darkness within him alters his body.

Realizing that Donovan has sacrificed his humanity to destroy the
Darkstalkers, Amanda's self imposed curse is lifted. She is able to feel
emotion once more.

[A picture of a young woman holding school books. The wind blows leaves and
her hair.]

Ten years later...
"I still think of him. I wonder if he has ever found peace, or if I shall
ever see him again."

[A picture of Donovan sitting on a throne chair,skulking, with people and a

Donovan fights a desperate battle for his humanity against the darkness
within him.

He fights, but the night is long, and the darkness is patient. "Soon", it
slavers, "Soon".

FELICIA

HSIEN-KO

Having fulfilled their oath to destroy the Darkstalkers, Hsien-Ko and her
sister collapse as the last of their spirit energy drains away. They
prepare to fade into nonexistence.

[A young female spirit appears from above.]

"Hsien-Ko, Mei-Ling, no my little ones, the reward for your great deed shall
not be oblivion."
Warm light envelops the two sisters as their mother's freed life force flows
around them.
"Here is my gift to you. Live long and happy lives my children, and know
that I will be with you always."

[Fade to black. The screen returns with a picture of a woman in bed, and a
man leaning on a stroller that's carrying two crying babies.]

"Whaaa!"
"Darling, look at them! They,re adorable!"
The reborn twins look forward to a new life. One where the happiness that
eluded them the last time can at last be theirs.

[Fade to black.]

HUITZIL

<winning quotes>
-(vs. self) "Rogue unit deactivated. Replacement unit under
construction."
-"Target neutralized. Evaluation of target: wimp."
-"Opponent destroyed. Omega defense program initiated."

[Pyron disappears and Huitzil flies upward. The next picture shows a Aztec
pyramid in the jungle.]

The ruins of Tenochtitlan, Mexico...

[Huitzil files down and floats over the pyramid, on top of the opening. The
next picture shows Huitzil flying downward in a dark corridor with white
lights passing by.]

"Analysis complete. Both northern and southern continents infested with
non-aboriginals."

[It lands in an army of Huitzils.]

"Execute Omega defense routine...attention all units...removal of all
non-aboriginals now commencing."

JON TALBAIN

LORD RAPTOR

[The demon leaves. Lord Raptor rises, all bulked up.]

"That old fool, no one rules Lord Raptor!" Soon the world will know of my
power. And I swear, even you 'master' will bend low before me!"

[Lord Raptor transforms himself into a hulking demon. Fade to black.]

MORRIGAN AENSLAED

[The Earth starts to shirk, then orbits around one of Pyron's fingers along
other planets on other fingers. Fade to black.]

RIKUO
