    Groove on Fight is a 2D fighting game for the Sega Saturn by Atlus
of Japan, for one to four players(via the Saturn's multi-tap). It
combines elements of Vampire Hunter/Street Fighter(play style), King of
Fighters(overall look of the game), and Street Fighter versus X-men(tag
team matches). The game plays very smoothly and combos flow with ease.
Each character(there are eleven immediately selectable, with three hidden)
has numerous moves they can perform to annihilate their opponents,
along with a screen filling Super move. The game uses all eight of the
Saturn controller's action buttons during the fighting(start pauses and
selects), with ten possible choices of what to put on the various buttons
in the controller re-configuration screen. The moves are mostly performed
with Street Fighter, down to forward type motions. Although, there are
a few direction plus button, or multiple buttons pressed simultaneously
type moves. Very easy to pick up in any case. Within a day or two you'll
be playing like a pro if you're at all familiar with Street Fighter or
Vampire Hunter's play mechanics.
    For those who like anime, there is an Omake selection that becomes
available after a few victories. From this you can view a wide assortment
of animation stills that were used in pre-production(many cutesy anime)
and the promotion of this game and others from the Power Instinct series,
which Groove on Fight is the third in.
    The game requires the additional RAM cartridge to play, due to this,
the game's animation flows very smoothly. There are however, some not so
short load times to the game, in the 10-15 second range. While loading,
the game's title, in balloon letters, appears in the center of the screen.
There is a random character's portrait inside the lettering.
    Here's a bit of trivia, Groove on Fight is the videogame that your
alternate self was playing when you met him in the well of mind and souls
in the Playstation role playing game, Persona.


Play modes:

 After inserting the RAM cartridge and turning the game on, you are
 given the following play modes to choose from:

 Arcade: This is one player mode, you verse computer controlled opponents
 Versus: You and up to 3 friends compete against each other
 Option: Change the games various settings
 Omake : Animation gallery, this opens up after you've completed Arcade
         mode at least once

 Arcade

   Choosing Arcade mode allows you to play one player against the
   computer. At first you can choose from eleven selectable characters,
   but if you fulfill certain requirements you will recieve up to three
   hidden characters. After selecting your Leader(1st character) and
   Partner(2nd character), you will fight the computer controlled
   opponents in these matchups(not necessarily in this order):

     Larry and Chris
     Tenjinbashi and Hizumi
     M.A.D. and Solis
     Falco and Oume & Otane
     Remi and Popura
     Gartheimer, Damian is standing in the background but does not fight
     Bristol
     Your partner, after defeating Bristol you square off against your
                   partner for a short time, until the appearance of
                   Bristol-D. (Note: The next match begins with both
                   characters at the same level of health they had at
                   the end of this match)
     Bristol-D, During the fight between you and your partner, Bristol-D
                erupts from the body of Bristol who was lying on the
                ground. He possesses your partner and then you must
                fight the final match alone against your now possessed
                partner and Bristol-D. After defeating Bristol-D, your
                character runs to his fallen partner's aid. Bristol-D
                gets back to his feet and attempts to attack you. He is
                stopped as Solis suddenly appears, apprehends Bristol-D,
                and then vanishes, taking him with her. The ending for
                your lead character is then shown, followed by the
                game's credits

   After each match in Arcade mode you are ranked in the following
   catagories:

     Vital: Life left
     Perfect: 30,000 bonus for defeating opponents without taking damage
     Time: Time left
     Solo: Beat opponents without changing characters for 20,000 bonus

   Along with receiving hidden characters for finishing Arcade mode in
   certain ways, Omake mode also becomes available once you complete
   Arcade mode at least once. More selections are added to the Omake
   mode as you beat the Arcade mode with the different characters. As
   the credits are rolling after you've beaten the Arcade mode, you
   are given control of your lead character(standing under the credits),
   and can attack them(the credits) as they scroll by. The credits can
   be sped up by pressing the start button. If you've beaten one of the
   top five high scores for the game you can put your initials(up to
   three letters) in after the credits have run. The high scores,
   standings and hidden characters save to the Saturn's memory
   automatically, using up 4 units of save ram.

 Versus

   Choosing Versus mode allows multi-player matches if you've hooked up
   a Saturn multi-tap and multiple controllers, otherwise it will be
   just 2 player(press a button to bypass the multi-player screen).
   After both players choose their 2 characters from the list provided
   (in versus mode you do not get the character's portraits as you do in
   1 player Arcade mode) you are sent to the handicap and stage select
   screen. Each player chooses his handicap level(1 through 8, 1 being
   weak, your hits not doing much damage. 8 being strong, your hits doing
   the maximum amount of damage) then the stage you'd like to fight on,
   then it's off to the battle. Each character has one life bar, which
   replenishes if they jump to the sidelines. Because of this the matches
   are not two rounds, but between the two characters you do get two life
   meters. Whenever a character enters the battle(after being tagged in),
   the outline of their health meter will glow for a short time to alert
   you to which meter to keep an eye on. After both characters on either
   team are knocked out, the match ends and you are brought to the
   standings screen. From this screen you can see how many times each
   player was victorious with each character, as well as how many total
   victories each side has(this is also shown underneath the health bars
   during the battle). At the bottom of this screen you are given the
   following choices:

     1. Fight: Brings you back to the character select screen
     2. Data clear: Erases the current standings
     3. Pad setting: Change the controller configuration
     4. Exit: Return to the title screen

   Multi-player mode:

     With the Saturn's multi-tap you are able to play with up to four
     players at once. Note: all controllers must be plugged in when the
     game is first turned on for them to register as usable. To take
     advantage of the multi-player aspect, go into Versus mode and you
     will be presented with the following four choices for player
     team-ups.

       #1. Player 1 = Leader    VS   Player 2 = Leader
                      Partner                   Partner

       #2. Player 1 = Leader    VS   Player 2 = Leader
                      Partner        Player 3 = Partner

       #3. Player 1 = Leader    VS   Player 3 = Leader
           Player 2 = Partner                   Partner

       #4. Player 1 = Leader    VS   Player 3 = Leader
           Player 2 = Partner        Player 4 = Partner

     Pictures of white Saturn controllers illustrate your currently
     highlighted selection at the bottom of the screen.

     After selecting how many players(and their team-ups), you will be
     taken to the character select screen(in Versus mode, only the
     shortcut list is used) where if more than two players are competing,
     there will be two listings of the characters. Both listings are the
     same, but the first is for Players 1 and 2, while the second is for
     Players 3 and 4. After choosing your characters, you will be brought
     to the handicap and stage select screen, where there will now be the
     appropriate number of handicap meters.

     While playing on a team with two human controlled players, some of
     the moves differ from how they are performed if only one person was
     controlling both characters.
     They are:

       Walking while in the background: The character on the sideline(not
                                        currently in the battle) has the
                                        ability to move or dash freely(but
                                        not jump) to the left or right.

       Character change: To tag your teammate into the battle you perform
                         the move the same way as if you were alone, press
                         the Change button(L.punch+L.kick), but your
                         teammate must be behind you. If they are not,
                         your character will just raise his hand and
                         become vulnerable.

       Partner attack: Instead of the character who is in the battle
                       controlling when to do this attack, the sidelined
                       character now does. To do this attack, the
                       sidelined character must be behind the currently
                       battling opponent, and press the Change button
                       (L.punch+L.kick).

     After a multi-player match you will have 4 columns instead of 2 on
     the standings screen. These will show the number of victories with
     each playable character for each player.

 Option

   Selecting Option allows you to change the following game settings:

     Level: Easiest, Very easy, Easy, Normal, Hard, Very hard, Hardest,
            Abnormal
     Time: 30, 60, 99, Infinity
     Shortcut: On/Off
     Sound: Stereo/Mono
     Pad setting: Allows you to reconfigure any of the 8 action buttons
                  on the Saturn controller with any of these
                  selections(press start to activate):

                    L.punch(light punch)
                    H.punch(hard punch)
                    G.attack(overhead punch)
                    L.kick(light kick)
                    H.kick(hard kick)
                    D.attack(dash attack/behind the back attack)
                    Kidding(taunt)
                    R.guard(reflect guard/super block)
                    S.strike(super strike/unblockable)
                    Change(switch characters/tag in)

     Voice test

 Omake

   Selecting Omake allows you to browse through pre-production and
   promotional animation stills from the game and others in the Power
   Instinct series. This mode opens up after you've beaten Arcade mode
   with one character(you will get that character's and his partner's
   selection of stills along with the ETC. catagory). Each character
   has their own group of stills in this mode and it will open up for
   your viewing as you beat the Arcade mode with that character. The
   GOH selection opens up after you've beaten the game using all the
   characters, including the three hidden ones. Here is a listing of
   the selections you can choose from in Omake mode:

Common moves for all characters:

 Blocking: Hold Back to block high or mid range attacks, hold Down/Back
           to block low to mid range attacks.
 Reflect block: Press the R. guard button(H.punch+H.kick) to perform a
                sort of super block, that if your opponent hits you
                during, will cause them to be stunned and stumble
                backwards. There is a brief period of vulnerability after
                this move is performed if you are not struck during it.
 Throws: Press Forward or Back+H.punch, G.attack or H.kick(depending on
         the character), while standing next to an opponent.
 Air throws: Press Forward+H.punch or G.attack while next to an airborne
             opponent(your character must be in the air as well).
 Double jump: Jump again while in the air(any direction).
 Dashing: Double tap Forward or Back.
 Shadow moves: While dashing forward, perform certain special moves.
               Shadow versions will score extra hits. Each character
               except Bristol-D has one. Any Shadow move that is
               normally done with a charge move, only has to be
               performed as a direction tap(example: Down to Up, no
               charge necessary)+the corresponding button.
 Pounce: Press Up+L.kick, H.kick, or D.attack as soon as you knock an
         opponent down(all buttons cause the same pounce)
 Unblockable: Press the S.Strike button(G.attack+D.attack), the actual
              move performed by each character is different.
 Behind the back attack: Press the D.attack button close to your
                         opponent. Your character will attempt to go
                         behind the opponent and strike at them.
 Overhead: When an opponent is blocking low, get close to them and press
           the G.attack button for your character to strike them with an
           overhead blow. This works in reverse if your opponent is
           instead doing a standing block and you strike at them from a
           close crouched position with the G.attack button.
 Shaking out of dizziness: Rotate the Directional pad quickly.
 Toss downed opponent/partner: Press Down+H.punch or G.attack while over
                               the center of any downed character to
                               throw the body at your opponent.
 Kidding(taunt): Press the Kidding button.
 Character change: To tag in your other character press the Change
                   button(L.punch+L.kick). Your next character will jump
                   into the fight while your previously used character
                   jumps out. You are vulnerable during this move, and if
                   hit you will not tag up. A character who is on the
                   sidelines will slowly regain health in his life meter.
 Partner attack: Press the Change button(L.punch+L.kick)+Forward to have
                 your partner perform a jump-in attack from the sidelines.
                 The character will jump back out as soon as the attack
                 has been performed, or if they have been hit out of it.
 Dual attack: Press the Change button(L.punch+L.kick) but before the tag
              is completed, press Down, Down+L.punch, H.punch or G.attack.
              This will cause your characters to perform up to a 22 hit
              combination attack. This move uses one level of power from
              your special meter, and you must have both characters still
              usable in order to perform this.
 Canceling: Any regular move can be cancelled out at any time by a special
            move. This makes for plenty o' two in ones :)
 Super move: This requires you to have at least one level of power built
             up in your Special meter(see below) in order to perform.
             Press any downward direction twice rapidly(either Down-Down,
             Down/Back-Down/Back, or Down/Forward-Down/Forward) followed
             by either L.kick, H.kick or D.attack(doesn't matter which).
             No matter which direction or button you press, your Super
             move will be the same.


Special meters:

   At the bottom of the screen on either side is a Special meter.
 When filled, you receive one attempt at a "Super" move or Dual attack.
 I say attempt because if you perform the motion for the Super move or
 Dual attack, but are hit before the move actually comes out, you lose
 one level from your Special meter. The Special meter shows the level
 of enegy stored up to nine, after which it stops counting. It will
 however keep track of anything accumulated over nine, it just won't
 show you a number for it.
   Upon reaching the next level in your Special meter(filling it),
 your character will flare with energy and the number next to the Special
 meter will increase by one. During the flare up your character cannot be
 hit. However, your opponent can be hit by the flare if they're too close.

 There are five ways to charge/fill up a Special meter:
   1. Kidding(Taunting), if you do this you will fill your opponent's
      Special meter slightly.

   2. Damage, every time you are hit, your Special meter will rise
      slightly.

   3. Blocked damage, every hit your opponent blocks fills your Special
      meter slightly.

   4. Knockout, after your first character is knocked out, upon jumping
      into the battle, your remaining character will flare with energy
      and their Special meter will automatically reach the next level.

   5. Charging, this is only available when you have one character left.
      Instead of switching characters when the Change button
      (L.punch+L.kick) is pressed, your remaining character will pulsate
      with energy, causing him to slowly fill his Special meter.


Pausing during a battle:

 When you pause a battle you get the following choices(press start to
 choose one):

   Return: Go back to the battle
   Restart: Go back to the character select screen(you must press L+R
            to confirm this choice)
   Pad setting: Controller reconfigure(see options section)
   Exit: Go back to the title screen(you must press L+R to confirm this
         choice)

 To remove the text and dark filter from the screen when paused, press
 X+Y+Z. Now you can see the action clearly.


Hidden characters:

 Aside from the eleven immediately selectable characters, Groove on Fight
 has three hidden characters. They are Damian(Gartheimer's partner),
 Bristol Weller, and Bristol-D(a vampirish version of Bristol). To
 unlock these hidden characters you must do the following:

   Damian: Complete the game in Arcade mode with Gartheimer on any
           difficulty level
   Bristol: Complete the game in Arcade mode without continuing on any
            difficulty level
   Bristol-D: Complete the game with a second character(or a second time)
            in Arcade mode without continuing on any difficulty level


                   Individual character move lists

       Individual move names used may not be the official names


Larry Light

    Light blast: Down to Forward+L.punch(slow), H.punch(medium), or
                 G.attack(fast). Can be performed in the air
    Uppercut: Forward to Down to Down/Forward+L.punch(2 hits),
              H.punch(3 hits), or G.attack(5 hits). This is Larry's
              Shadow move
    Machine-gun punch: Down to Forward+L.kick(1 hit), H.kick(4 hits),
                       or D.attack(6 hits)
    Impact connection: Perform the following 3 motions one after the
                       other. Down to Back+L.punch, this will cause
                       Larry to do an open palmed strike that will
                       momentarily stun your opponent. Once that is
                       performed, follow up with Down to Back+H.punch,
                       this will cause Larry to dash behind the opponent
                       and perform a shoulder slam on them from the
                       opposite side. Again, once this 2nd move is
                       performed, follow up with Down to Back+G.attack
                       (keep in mind that after the second move, Larry is
                       now facing the other direction), this will make
                       Larry perform a two handed open palmed shove.
    Headbutt: Forward+H.punch
    Double kick: Forward+H.kick
    Dashing elbow: Forward, Forward+L.punch or H.punch
    Triple knockdown kick: Forward, Forward+ L.kick or H.kick
    Heavy punch: This is Larry's Overhead. Press G.attack while standing
    Palm smack: This is Larry's crouching Overhead. Press G.attack
                while in a crouched position
    Flaming dash punch: This is Larry's Unblockable. Press S.strike, or
                        G.attack+D.attack
    Historical moment: This is Larry's Super move. Press any downward
                       direction twice rapidly(either Down-Down,
                       Down/Back-Down/Back, or Down/Forward-Down/Forward)
                       followed by either L.kick, H.kick or D.attack
                       (doesn't matter which)


Chris Wayne

    Lightning slasher: Down to Back+L.punch(slow), H.punch(fast), or
                       G.attack(double, both fast and slow spark)
    Spiral turning kicks: Down to Forward+L.kick(1 hit), H.kick(3 hits),
                          or D.attack(3 hits)
    Overdrive combo: Perform the following 3 motions one after the other.
                     Down to Forward+L.punch, this will cause Chris to do
                     a dashing low kick. Once that is performed, follow
                     up with Down to Forward+H.punch, this will cause
                     Chris to do 2 more standing kicks. Again, once this
                     2nd move is performed, follow up with Down to
                     Forward+G.attack, this will make Chris do another
                     standing kick, followed by a flip kick.
    Rising drill kick: Forward to Down+L.kick(1 hit), H.kick(3 hits), or
                       D.attack(6 hits). This is Chris' Shadow move
    Diving drill kick: While in the air, press Forward to Down+L.kick
                       (1 hit), H.kick(1 hit), or D.attack(3 hits)
    Diving slash: While in the air, press Down to Forward+L.punch(in
                  place slash), H.punch(1/4 screen diving slash), or
                  G.attack(1/2 screen diving slash)
    Dashing knee: D.attack away from opponent
    Side kick: Forward+H.kick
    Dash punch: Forward, Forward+L.punch or H.punch
    Knockdown hop kick: Forward, Forward+L.kick or H.kick
    Spur stomp: This is Chris' Overhead. Press G.attack while standing
    Flip kick: This is Chris' crouching Overhead. Press G.attack while
               in a crouched position
    Butterfly knife: This is Chris' Unblockable. Press S.strike, or
                     G.attack+D.attack
    Lightning stun kick: This is Chris' Super move. Press any downward
                     direction twice rapidly(either Down-Down,
                     Down/Back-Down/Back, or Down/Forward-Down/Forward)
                     followed by either L.kick, H.kick or D.attack(doesn't
                     matter which)


Tenjinbashi

    Cherry blossom leaves: Down to Back+L.punch
    Feather drop: Down to Back+L.kick
    Lightning: Down to Back+H.punch
    Snowball: Down to Back+H.kick, this move freezes and knocks the
              opponent over if it connects
    Triple bite: L.punch+H.punch. This is Tenjinbashi's Shadow move
    Brutal combo: Perform the following 3 motions one after the other.
                  Down to Forward to Up/Forward+L.punch, this will cause
                  Tenjinbashi to lift his opponent over his head and slam
                  them to the ground. Once that is performed, follow up
                  with Down to Forward to Up/Forward+H.punch, this will
                  cause Tenjinbashi to sit on the opponent and rotate.
                  Again, once this 2nd move is performed, follow up with
                  Down to Forward to Up/Forward+G.attack, this will make
                  Tenjinbashi lift up the opponent and punch them into
                  the air
    Bomb attachment: Down to Forward to Up/Forward+L.kick(from 1/2
                     screen), H.kick(from 1/2 screen also), or
                     D.attack(from whole screen). If the bomb is
                     successfully attached, it will explode within a
                     few seconds causing unblockable damage. If your
                     opponent knocks out your character before the bomb
                     explodes, it will disappear
    Launch: Forward+H.kick or D.attack next to opponent
    Hop forward low punch: Down/Forward+H.punch
    Dashing swipe: Forward+H.punch
    Straight heavy kick: Forward+H.kick
    Straight light kick: Rapidly press L.kick, the 3rd and subsequent
                         kicks will be straight light kicks
    Dashing elbow: Forward, Forward+L.punch or H.punch
    Dashing knee: Forward, Forward+L.kick or H.kick
    Baton smash: This is Tenjinbashi's Overhead. Press G.attack while
                 standing
    Lifting flip: This is Tenjinbashi's crouching Overhead. Press G.attack
                  while in a crouched position
    Battering ram: This is Tenjinbashi's Unblockable. Press S.strike, or
                   G.attack+D.attack
    Human skyrocket: This is Tenjinbashi's Super move. Press any downward
                     direction twice rapidly(either Down-Down,
                     Down/Back-Down/Back, or Down/Forward-Down/Forward)
                     followed by either L.kick, H.kick or D.attack(doesn't
                     matter which)


Hizumi

    Teleport: L.kick+H.kick+Direction, Forward teleports to the other
              side of the screen, Down or no direction causes him to
              reappear in the same spot, Back causes him to teleport
              behind his starting point
    Flaming pinwheel: Down to Forward+L.kick(6 hits), H.kick(8 hits),
                      or G.attack(10 hits). This is Hizumi's Shadow
                      move
    Shockwave: Down to Forward+L.punch, H.punch, or G.attack. If hit,
               your opponent will be stunned for the length of time
               the energy is at their feet
    Aerial explosives: Down to Forward+L.punch(3 in front), H.punch(2
                       at 1/2 screen high), or G.attack(2 at 1/2 screen
                       low) while in the air
    Triple exploding jack toss: Press L.punch+H.punch while dashing
                                backwards(Back, Back)
    Ninja combo: Perform the following 3 motions one after the other.
                 Down to Back+L.punch, this will cause Hizumi to do a
                 dashing elbow strike. Once that is performed, follow up
                 with Down to Back+H.punch, this will cause Hizumi to do
                 a punch followed by a spray of dust that knocks the
                 opponent into the air. Again, once this 2nd move is
                 performed, follow up with Down to Back+G.attack,
                 this will make Hizumi throw an explosive at the airborne
                 opponent for a final hit.
    Slide kick: Down/Forward+H.kick, Hizumi can add a low axe kick to
                this move by pressing H.kick a second time during the
                slide
    Karate swipe: Forward+H.punch
    Double step in kick: Forward+H.kick
    Dash punch: Forward, Forward+L.punch or H.punch
    Dashing hop kick: Forward, Forward+L.kick or H.kick
    Dashing low swipe: D.attack away from opponent
    Flip kick: This is Hizumi's Overhead. Press G.attack while standing
    Rising kick: This is Hizumi's crouching Overhead. Press G.attack
                 while in a crouched position
    Knife charge: This is Hizumi's Unblockable. Press S.strike, or
                  G.attack+D.attack
    Double rising blade charge: This is Hizumi's Super move. Press any
                                downward direction twice rapidly(either
                                Down-Down, Down/Back-Down/Back, or
                                Down/Forward-Down/Forward) followed by
                                either L.kick, H.kick or D.attack(doesn't
                                matter which)
    Hizumi's Taunt hits for low damage


M.A.D.

    Giant butterfly net: Press L.punch+H.punch
    Single leech: Press L.kick+H.kick+Direction, Forward causes leech to
                  appear across the screen, Down or no direction causes
                  the leech to appear mid screen, Back causes the leech
                  to appear in front of your character
    Fall down: Down to Forward+L.punch(makes opponent fall down)
    Come here: Down to Forward+H.punch(makes opponent flip towards you)
    Don't attack: Down to Forward+G.attack(makes opponent unable to
                  strike for a moment)
    Stumble back: Down to Forward+L.kick(makes opponent stumble backwards)
    Go away: Down to Forward+H.kick(makes opponent fall backwards)
    Don't jump: Down to Forward+D.attack(makes opponent become unable
                to jump for a moment)
    Sparkler punch: Forward to Down to Down/Forward+L.punch(1 hit),
                    H.punch(3 hits), or G.attack(5 hits). This is
                    M.A.D.'s Shadow move, and the H.punch or G.attack
                    Shadow version can be doubled up indefinately by
                    rapidly pressing the same button while the move is
                    being performed
    Air drill: Down to Forward+L.punch(near), H.punch(1/2 screen), or
               G.attack(whole screen) while in the air
    Original combo: Perform the following 3 motions one after the other.
                    Down to Back+L.punch, this will cause M.A.D. to do a
                    forward stun punch. Once that is performed, follow up
                    with Down to Back+H.punch, this will cause M.A.D. to
                    do a drill attack for 3 hits. Again, once this 2nd
                    move is performed, follow up with Down to
                    Back+G.attack, this will make M.A.D. fire a
                    shockray for a final hit.
    Ray gun: After getting knocked down(but before you get up), Hold Up
             and press L.punch(low), H.punch(angled upwards), or
             G.attack(double ray, both low and angled upwards) rapidly
    Back hoe: Press H.punch
    Flaming torch punch: Crouching H.punch
    Spring punch: Press L.punch
    Double smack: Press L.punch next to opponent
    Adjustable wrench: Down/Forward+L.punch
    Firehose throw: Forward or Back+H.punch or G.attack next to opponent
    Bear hug: Forward or Back+H.kick or D.attack next to opponent

                          the air for a brief period of time if it
                          connects, so that you can combo them out of it.

    TNT charge: Press and hold L.punch+H.punch, or L.kick+H.kick for 2
                seconds then release. This is Solis' Shadow move
    Shock cable: Forward+H.punch(This move can also be done in the air)
    Machine gun punch: Press H.punch
    Low machine gun punch: Press any downward direction+H.punch
    Straight kick: Forward+L.kick
    Straight kick hard: Forward+H.kick
    Creeping trip: Press any downward direction+H.kick

    Nice legs combo: Perform the following 3 motions one after the other.

                 a second turn kick. Again, once this 2nd move is
                 performed, follow up with Down to Forward+D.attack, this
                 will make Solis finish the combo with a split that will
                 knock over the opponent.
    Pistol whip smash: This is Solis' Overhead. Press G.attack while

    Rising smash: This is Solis' crouching Overhead. Press G.attack

    High voltage: This is Solis' Unblockable. Press S.strike, or

Falco

    Slots: Press L.punch+H.punch. A slot machine will appear above
           Falco and random icons will spin around, giving these possible
           outcomes:
             3 Skulls: A large weight drops, knocking both battling
                       characters to the ground
             3 Dollar signs: Ten coins rain down on your opponent
             3 Cherries: Three doves fly at your opponent
             3 Lightning bolts: Lightning shocks Falco(no damage)
             3 Hearts: Falco regains a small amount of health
             3 Sevens: Jackpot, eleven coins fall and three doves fly
                       at your opponent
             3 Mismatched icons: A single coin falls on your opponent
    Straight card toss: Down to Forward+L.punch(can be doubled up)
    Upward riccocheting card toss: Down to Forward+H.punch(can be
                                   doubled up)
    Downward riccocheting card toss: Down to Forward+G.attack(can be
                                     doubled up)
    Doubling up the card tosses: To double up any of the above three card
                                 tosses, simply press the button that
                                 corresponds to the 2nd toss you'd like
                                 to perform, no need to perform a 2nd
                                 Down to Forward motion. You can toss
                                 cards at two different angles.
    Rising spin into card toss: Forward to Down to Down/Forward+L.punch
                                (back spin), H.punch(forward spin, 1/2
                                screen), or G.attack(forward spin, whole
                                screen). From this move you can perform
                                a card toss by pressing one of the
                                following buttons while airborne:
                                  L.punch: Downward toss
                                  H.punch: Mid range downward toss
                                  G.attack: Straight toss
                                Note: This is Falco's Shadow move. The
                                Shadow version of this move can toss up
                                to three cards(see doubling)
    Jumping cane attack: Down to Forward+L.kick(short), H.kick(1/2 screen)
                         or D.attack(whole screen). This attack only hits
                         if Falco is attacked during his jump forward
    Card trick combo: Perform the following 3 motions one after the other.
                      Down to Back+L.punch, this will cause Falco to
                      throw a blank card at his opponent. Once that is
                      performed, follow up with Down to Back+H.punch, this
                      will cause Falco to throw a second card that knocks
                      the opponent into the air. Again, once this 2nd move
                      is performed, follow up with Down to Back+G.attack,
                      this will make Falco throw a third card at the
                      airborne opponent for a final hit.
    Diving cane trip: Forward to Down+H.punch while in the air
    Cane jab: Forward, Forward+L.punch or H.punch
    Hop kick: Forward+H.kick
    Long hop kick: Forward, Forward+L.kick or H.kick
    Slide kick: Down/Forward+H.kick
    Cane flick: This is Falco's Overhead. Press G.attack while standing

    Screaming head: Charge Down to Up+L.punch(straight up), H.punch
                    (slight angle forward), or G.attack(heavy angle
                    forward). This is Oume and Otane's Shadow move
    Statue drop: L.punch+H.punch+Direction, Forward causes the statue to
                 drop on the far side of the screen, Down or no direction
                 causes the statue to drop midscreen, Back causes the
                 statue to drop over Oume and Otane(causes no damage to
                 them)
    Quadruple fireball: Hold Forward+L.punch(straight), H.punch(rising),
                        or G.attack(3 rising, 1 arcs downward) rapidly
    Spinning dive: Up to Down+L.kick(short), H.kick(medium), or
                   G.attack(short, but upon landing it spins across the
                   ground towards the opponent) while in the air
    Energy combo: Perform the following 3 motions one after the other.
                  Charge Back to Forward+L.kick, this will cause Oume
                  and Otane to become encased in a blue energy bubble
                  and float towards the opponent and hit them. Once that
                  is performed, follow up with Back+Forward+H.kick(no
                  Charge necessary), this will cause the bubble to turn
                  yellow and continue hitting the opponent. Again, once
                  this 2nd move is performed, follow up with Back to
                  Forward+D.attack(no Charge necessary), this will cause
                  the bubble to turn red and continue to strike the
                  opponent for the final hits
    Slide kick: Press any downward direction+H.kick
    Bicycle kick: Forward+H.kick
    Reaching jab: Forward+H.punch
    De-aging dash punch: Forward, Forward+L.punch or H.punch
    Piggyback kick: Forward, Forward+L.kick or H.kick
    Body whack: This is Oume and Otane's Overhead. Press G.attack while
                standing
    Jumping uppercut: This is Oume and Otane's crouching Overhead. Press

                      or D.attack(3 hits). This is Gartheimer's Shadow
                      move
    Body smash: Charge Down to Up+L.punch(slow), H.punch(medium), or
                G.attack(fast)
    Ground rush: Charge Back to Forward+L.kick(3 hits), H.kick(3 hits
                 plus explosion), or D.attack(8 hits plus explosion)
    Rapid ball punch: Hold Forward+L.punch rapidly
    Heavy body smash: Up to Down+L.punch(in place), H.punch(short), or
                      G.attack(medium) while in the air
    Gain control: Perform the following 3 motions one after the other.
                  Charge Back to Forward+L.punch, this will cause
                  Gartheimer to lasso the opponent with one end of his
                  bolo. Once that is performed, follow up with
                  Back+Forward+H.punch(no Charge necessary), this will
                  cause Gartheimer to spin the opponent into the air and
                  hit them with one of his steel balls. Again, once
                  this 2nd move is performed, follow up with Back to
                  Forward+G.attack(no Charge necessary), this will cause
                  Gartheimer to strike the airborne opponent a second
                  time for the final hit.
    Dashing ball swipe: D.attack away from opponent

    Horn whiplash: L.punch+H.punch
    Knife ride: Up to Down+L.punch(straight down), H.punch(medium), or
                G.attack(far) while in the air
    Triangle combo: Perform the following 3 motions one after the other.
                    Charge Back to Forward+L.kick, this will cause Remi
                    to spin towards the opponent creating the bottom
                    steel bar of a triangle. Once that is performed,
                    follow up with Back+Forward+H.kick(no Charge
                    necessary), this will cause Remi to spin upwards
                    creating the side steel bar to the triangle. Again,
                    once this 2nd move is performed, follow up with
                    Back to Forward+D.attack(no Charge necessary, keep
                    in mind that Remi may have passed onto the opposite
                    side of the opponent at this point), this will cause
                    Remi to spin downwards creating the final side to
                    the triangle, which upon completing, she strikes,
                    sending the opponent vibrating to the ground for the
                    final hit
    Little witch: Press L.punch+H.punch while in the air. This will
                  cause Remi to turn into a small floating witch for a
                  brief period of time. While in this state, press the
                  following buttons for these results:
                    L.punch: Fireballs downward
                    H.punch: Fireballs angled slightly downward
                    G.attack: Fireballs angled slightly upwards
                    L.kick: Scythe swipe
                    H.kick: Dive attack downwards
                    D.attack: Dive attack straight
    Bend over kick: Forward+L.kick
    Swing kick: Forward+H.kick
    Long trip: Press Down/Forward+H.kick

    Ribbon twirl: Down to Forward+L.kick(straight), H.kick(angled
                  upwards), or D.attack(straight up). This is Popura's
                  Shadow move
    Teddy bear uppercut: Press L.punch+H.punch, this will cause Popura
                         to perform an uppercut, during which she
                         tosses a small box onto the floor. A small teddy
                         bear will then run across the bottom of the
                         screen and jump into the box, hitting any
                         opponent that gets in it's path
    Popura special: Perform the following 3 motions one after the other.
                    Down to Back+L.punch, this will cause Popura to turn
                    into a Bo weilding warrior and strike the opponent.
                    Once that is performed, follow up with Down to
                    Back+H.punch, this will cause Popura to change into
                    a fencer and jab the opponent with a fencing sword.
                    Again, once this 2nd move is performed, follow up
                    with Down to Back+G.attack, this will make Popura,
                    now dressed like Chun-Li deliver the final blow of
                    the combo with a broad sword, knocking the opponent
                    to the ground
    Cupid: Press L.punch+H.punch while in the air. This will cause
           Popura to turn into a small floating cupid for a brief period
           of time. While in this state, press the following buttons for
           these results:
                    L.punch: Arrow downward
                    H.punch: Straight arrow slow
                    G.attack: Straight arrow fast
                    L.kick: Horn blow downwards
                    H.kick: Horn blow straight
                    D.attack: Double horn blow, straight and downwards
    Batter up: Forward+H.punch
    Gymnast attack: Down/Forward+H.punch

                  Shadow move
    No mercy: Perform the following 3 motions one after the other.

              a lift kick which knocks the opponent into the air. Again,

              Back+G.attack, this will make Bristol to pull his gun and
              fire at the falling opponent for the final hit

 Here's a brief description of the eight available stages

   1. An Egyptian Coliseum. This is Larry and Chris' stage.
   2. Blue room with large grandfather clock, there is an old fashioned
      Victrola playing the stage's background music. This is Popura
      and Remi's stage.
   3. Futuristic boiler room with giant Giger-like living head hooked
      to machinery in the back. This is M.A.D. and Solis' stage.
   4. The entrance to an Asian temple at sunset. This is Tenjinbashi
      and Hizumi's stage.
   5. On the wing of an airplane in flight. This is Falco and Oume &
      Otane's stage.
   6. A construction platform overlooking New York city. This is an
      original stage.
   7. An altar room in daylight, there is a checkered floor with large
      chess pieces scattered about. This is Bristol's stage.
   8. Bristol's altar room at night. It is now lit by the flame that
      is going at the altar, the chess pieces are now replaced by
      statues of demons. This is Bristol-D's stage.
