Doom for the Sega Saturn FAQ
            _________________________________________________

Q: The Box mentions that Doom Saturn is "Deathmatch Ready". How can I
  play a 2-player game?
A: At the time that Doom Saturn was put into production, Sega sold a
cable that could be used to connect 2 Saturns together. Unfortunately,
this cable is no longer available, and GT Interactive cannot help you
obtain one of these devices. However, If you do manage to find a
cable, the only way to play a Deathmatch game is with 2 Saturn game
consoles, 2 television sets, and 2 copies of Doom Saturn.

Q: What are the cheat codes for Doom?
A: To enter a cheat code, simply pause the game and then hit the
buttons on the control pad in the order given for the code you wish to
use. If you make a mistake, restart the game and hit pause again.

To warp to a different level, hit R,L,Z,TR,Z,TL,Z,C

To turn on God Mode, hit D,Y,X,TR,R,TL,L,B
To get a full map, hit B,B,C,L,B,B,C,R
To see monsters and items on the map, hit B,B,C,R,B,B,C,L
To get free stuff, hit B,Y,X,TL,TR,C,X,Z

Q: Doom seems to run slower than it does on a PC.
A: The Doom Program was originally written for the PC. The code was
ported over directly to the Saturn. Since the two systems are
drastically different, people who are used to seeing DOOM on the PC
may feel that the game seems too slow on the Saturn. Unfortunately,
there is nothing that can be done about this.

Q: How many levels are in Doom for the Saturn?
A: Doom for the Saturn includes all of the levels that you would
normally find in Ultimate Doom and Doom II for the PC. Therefore,
there are over 60 levels in the game. Please note that some levels are
secret levels, and can be accessed by secret teleporters on a few of
  the normal levels.
