This guide will cover literally everything in Hammerin Heros. The walkthrough
will constantly be updated, so if a level you need isn't there yet, check back
in every so often and I'm sure it will eventually get up!
All of the TYL, Souvemirs, Bentos, Ingredients, and KPFs and their descriptions
were found in the game. I DID not come up with the descriptions for them. Thank
the developers for that.

For the first level and eleventh, I use the actual Personnel File names of each
enemy. But for the sake of me getting this done, I will use a basic name for
each enemy and put a key at the top of each level. I also think this may be
easier to understand each level...
However, the boss names are the boss names, not some easy to remember and
understand name I made up :P .
UPDATE: After messing around on different difficulties, I noticed that each
difficulty will have a few differences when it comes to boss battles. This
guide will be written when playing on Apprentice, so that is how the boss
battles that will be written.

STAGE 1: Beranme Town (COMPLETE)........................................... SG1
===============================================================================
You start off in front of a house. Walk forward and in front of the fence will
be a Kuromoku Pickaxe worker. Hit him, then jump over the fence, go through the
house, and over the people eating. In the last room of the house, there will be
a Non-Kuromoku thief. Run up to him and attack him. He may plant a block of
wood in your way, and if he does, just jump over it and continue attacking. He
should go down fairly quickly.
Now jump out the window into an alley, and into the window of a spa on the
other side of this alley. You will land in a hottub. In the tub a Pickaxe
Worker will be chilling, listening to music. However when he sees you he will
attack. So hit him quickly. Continue to the next two rooms where a Pickaxe
worker will be in each one. You may notice, however, when you get out of the
tub the floor is slippery. Use this to your advantage. Charge through the two
rooms while sliding, and you will be able to get the pickaxe workers before
they attack. Now walk out of the building and onto the street.
On the street will be a vender with his cart. There will be a Pickaxe worker on
the cart, aswell as one behind it. Take them both out and advance forward until
you come to a set of stairs. A Pickaxe worker will also be on top of these
stairs. Take him out, and jump up the final step. This brings you to a ramp.
Head up the ramp, but be cautious of spiked carts that will roll down after
you. Simply get used to the timing of them and jump. When you reach the top of
the stairs, it triggers a boss battle.

Kuromoku Site Supervisor
-------------------------
This boss has three attacks. All can easily be dodged if you know how to dodge
them. His first attack is when he swings his steel structure around in a
circle. To dodge this, duck. Stay ducked until he is done swinging, and he will
get dizzy. This is when you can attack him. Eventually, though, he will
recover.
His second attack is when he swings the steel structure down. To dodge this,
run to the edge of the screen and jump. Once he misses, the steel gets lodged
into the ground for a few moments. This gives you a chance to attack. Run up
the steel structure to his forehead and start attacking. Once again he will
eventually recover.
His final attack is easy to dodge, but after he does it he doesn't get stunned
in any way. I do not advise attacking. if I were you, I would wait and dodge
one of his other moves. What he will do is bounce a dummy off the ground. Stay
back, then after the first bounce (While it's in the air) run forward and past
it. It will then just bounce it's way off the screen.
OTHER TIP FOR BERANME TOWN:
The Pickaxe worker and the boss' weapons will glow when they are about to
attack. For the pickaxe worker, when it glows, step back so the pickaxe won't
hit you. Once he misses, the axe will get stuck in the ground. Then would be
your time to move in.
Wrench guy= Kuromoku Wrench Tosser
Machine= Kuromoku Heavy Machine
Run forward and jump over the cars. COntinue running forward into a parking
lot. As you run forward, take out the three Wrench Guys. Now a big machine will
appear. Run up to it and whack it. When it does a wheelie, back up or it will
squish you. When the drill glows red, back up and let it hit the ground. When
in the ground attack the drill. Inbetween it's attacks you can also attack it.
It will go down fairly quickly, and when it does jump over it and head forward.
Here will be two Kuromoku Pickaxe Workers. Take them both out, then jump over
the tank ahead of you to start the boss battle.
This boss has two main attacks. He will set clouds that shoots thunder when
they start to flash. Take these out by hitting them. When they flash however,
move out of the way. His other move is when he shoots out bottles from
underneath himself. These can be dodged by running to one side of the screen,
or if you time it right, you can hit him as he shoots them and it will cancel
his attack. Also, keep in mind, the only way to hit him is with a special
attack or by jumping and swinging at him.
QUICK NOTE:
I found it easiest to take out the Wrench guys by charging at them, as their
wrenches go in an arc like a rainbow and you will easily run under them.

STAGE 3: Manly Amusement Park ............................................. SG3
===============================================================================
Key=

Flying mascots= Fake Flying Pork
At the start, head forward and over the fountain while dodging the bouncing
mascots. Once over the fountain, continue forward until you are on a carousel.
Once on the carousel, you will need to take out all the bunny mascots riding
it. When they are through, the carousel will break down allowing you to get
off. After you are off the carousel, however, you are off to another amusement
park ride. Jump onto a basket on the Ferris Wheel. On your way up, you will be
attacked by flying mascots. Crouch, and if one of their arrows are heading for
you, swing at it and it will bounce back at them. Once you get to the top, the
wheel will stop. This will start the first of two boss battles this level.
This boss is quite easy once you get the hang on him. he will knock you off the
box with his hook, if it hits it that is. What you want to do is hit the hook
on the bottom of his ship. It will fling backwards and do damage to him. Rinse
and repeat this process.
Once the boss is dead, continue the Ferris Wheel ride until you reach the
ground on the other side of which you started(You can also land on a building,
or is this the ground?). Once you get back on the ground, move forward while
dodging two bouncing mascots. Once you pass both of them, you get to the second
boss battle.
This boss is really easy if all you do is attack. use all your special attacks
here, then do a few normal attacks. He should fall shortly after. You can tell
how much damage he has taken so far by his color.
NOTE: The machine that launches the flys is worth a Personnel File, but it will
not really harm you and isn't required to destroy to get on with the level or
cause no harm to you what-so-ever.
Walk through the door in the beginning, and Dan will be on the table. Jump up
on the table with him and whack him until he runs away. Now run across the
table, and also over the next table right in front of you. Beware of the flys
above. Now move through the door to get to the kitchen. Flames will shoot out
from below the chef's pans. When they turn the pan away, it will be your chance
to jump over it as the flames will not be shooting out. You will have to do
this for two chefs.
Once you got through the kitchen, you will be in an alleyway. In the window on
the other side of the alleyway will be Dan. Hit him until he runs away, and
also be aware of his dynamite. I found it easiest if I stood below him and
jumped to hit him, then when he throws his dynamite just hug up against the
wall. Once he does run, however, go through the window he was blocking to come
to yet another kitchen. Here the chef is cutting up some sushi. Wait for him to
stop chopping to jump over him. When you jump, you may also want to look out
for the flys above you.
Once you leave this kitchen, you will be in front of a giant fish tank with a
giant fish inside. When the fish jumps, jump inside the tank and run under it
all the way to the otherside, then jump out. Here will be a spring. Use it to
get up into the attic area. Howver you will first land on a stage before you
reach the attic. To get up onto the attic, jump onto the vase which is located
on the stage, then up into the attc.
Once in the attic, break through the boxes and work your way throught he
crevice on the other side of the attic. This will lead you outside. Now jump
onto the house and break through these boxes. Once you walk past where the
boxes once were you will meet Dan once again. Do the same method as you did for
when he was on the window here. Once he runs away, get to the other side of the
roof to start the boss battle.
The boss is a big machine with a lot of guns. Jump off the roof and onto the
machine. Crawl onto the boss and crouch in front of the gun. Now swing. It will
do damage to it. Evenetually floors on the boss will fall down. COntinue this
until all the floors fall. Remember to use your special attacks aswell. One
thing you have to watch out for, hwoever, is when the gun above the one you are
swinging at is facing the direction you are in AND you are by the house, the
bullets will rebound back and hit you. So back off of the machine when this is
happening, and wait for the floor to rotate so it is no longer facing you.

STAGE 5: Turukame TV Studio ............................................... SG5
===============================================================================
This level will consist of following Mika through a TV Studio for the whole
level. So start by going through the door ahead and charging at the
Cameraman 1. Continue to head forward, and watch out for the light Mika will
drop on you. It will glow. When it does this, just back up. Once it drops, jump
up onto the wall by jumping on the wooden platform then up and over the wall.
Now jump onto the lights. Some of the lights will fall while you are on here,
and there will also be a Cameraman 1 here. Just charge him as you jump across
the lights, and once on the last light, jump over the stack of boxes below and
move through the door.
Move down this hallway, and through the next door. Here will be a Cameraman 2.
To take him out, simply jump on his camera. then behind him will be two
Cameraman 1s. Take them both out, and be aware of the MIKA blocks that will be
dropped on you. Dodge these by backing up or just charging past them and at the
three enemies in the room. Anyway when you take out the two Cameraman 1s, head
through the door behind them and through the door on the other side of this
small room. Take out the boxes to be able to get onto the spring by the wall
shortly after the door. Jump up onto the wall using the spring, then run up to
the right wall and jump onto the right light. Now jump onto the TVs with Mika
to start the boss battle.

Kanna
-----
Kanna is fairly simple to beat. She will have a big bubble over her head. As it
starts to heat up, it will shoot fire at you. Just run onto the lights above
her. When the fire is done being shot, hit the "Doubt" bubbles that pop up in
her big bubble above her head. After so many times of hitting the Doubt
bubbles, she will finally calm down.
QUICK NOTE: The Cameraman 1's shots can be hit and deflected down which will
cause no damage to you. this can help when charging them.

STAGE 6: Under Fukie Bay (COMPLETE)........................................ SG6
===============================================================================
Start by diving into the water. Now swim downwards, but sort of drift towards
the right of the screen. If you dodged all of the divers and sharks swimming
around, you will eventually reach a gap in the rocks filled with divers. Swim
down the gap, and take out all of the divers. You will nwo reach an enclosed
area with a submarine. Crabs will also pop up fromt eh ground from one of the
three holes if your back is facing them. So to take out the submarine, stand on
the middle hole and use your anchor to hit it long range. It will slide across
the wall to the other side ocassionally, so just turn. If you see a crab start
to come out of the ground, turn towards it or let it pop out then go and hit
it. The submarine will also ocassionally try to suck you in towards it. When it
does this, just run in the opposite direction of it. If it is destroyed on the
left wall, the left part of the floor is destroyed, and if the right part of
the wall is destroyed, then the right part of the floor is destroyed.
Each side goes to the same spot, the boss battle, so it doesn't matter what
side you go down. However each side is set up alittle differently. The left
side, all you have to do is drop down, take out a diver, and dodge/take out a
shark. However, on the right side, you must move through the right side of a
sunken ship. Either way you go though, you need to drop down the left side of
the sunken ship to arrive at the boss.
This boss is real simple. He has three basic and easy to dodge attack. The
first is he will try to suck you in. Just move towards the left of the screen
to dodge this. The next is he will send a poison gas out at you. To dodge this
one, just move towards the upper side of the screen and it should pass right
under you, then start sinking down and let it pass over you. His thrid attack
will be a giant tentacle that will throw an object at you. Just smash the
object. The only way to do damage to the boss is inbetween his attacks, a
bubble will pop out of the dark hole in the bottom right. Attack this bubble.
Eventually the boss will die.

STAGE 7: Grand Slam Stadium (COMPLETE) .................................... SG7
===============================================================================
You start in the stairs to the dugout, with a knocked out player blocking your
way to the dugout. Jump over him and make your way to the dugout. When you
reach there, there will be an Kuromoku Mascot right outside of it. Take him out
and walk to homeplate. There will be another Kuromoku mascot Once he is
through, start heading up the first base line. Here two baserunners will try
sliding and spiking you will the pitcher is throwing at you. Kepp moving to
avoid the pitcher, and the diver's anchor should be able to take out the
baserunners without them getting to close.
Now start running up the second base line. There was only one baserunner, but
the pitcher continues to throw at you. Touch second base and head up the third
base line. The pitcher will throw one more ball at you, then stop. As you move
just alittle bit more forward, you will come across a Kuromoku pitching
machine. When it fires it's fast fire ball from the top, hit the ball. It will
turn and hit the pitching machine. You can also hit the fire balls that come
out the bottom, but they will do no damage to the machine, only keep the fire
ball away from you. Do this until it is destroyed. Now start heading home. Time
for a boss battle.

Kuromoku Umpire
----------------
Umpire is really big, mean, and rough. He will do anything to stop you from
reaching home plate. However, he is pretty wimpy once you know how to dodge his
attack. He has three attacks. the first, he will try to stomp you. Just back up
and jump, and it will miss. His second attack, he will shoot rockets out of his
chest. Jump and hit these back into him to do damage AND dodge the attack. His
third and final attack is when he will swing the rake once. Just back up, and
he will miss. When he is not attacking, simply jump up and attack him. He will
fall quickly.
Ghost= Kuromoku Surveillance
Vent man= Kuromoku Head Nurse
Patient= Kuromoku Mobile Hauler
Bat= Omni Harasser
Patient2= Kuromoku Ghost Worker
Older man/guy= Kuromoku Terror Worker
Start by heading forward, and eventually you will see a ghost try and sneak up
on you. When it does eventually make it's way around and start charging you,
turn and hit him. He will be destroyed easily. Now continue forward and there
should be some boxes breaking the door. Break them, but beware of the TYL above
that says "I want a house...", unless you are a Carpenter Gen because he will
grab onto you which slows you down quite a bit. Once the boxes are down, move
through the door.
In this room, a vent man will be above you throwing objects at you. He throws
three at a time. So to dodge the first set, run into the chair . Once the set
breaks, jump over the chair and over the box that is labeled Gen, then get down
and run into the Gen box. Once the next set of objects hit the floor and break,
run out of the room and into the hallway.
This hallway has a steep incline. And on the top, a patient will be throwing
wheelchairs down the incline. They bounce up, and when they do, run below them.
Make your way up the incline, and once at the top you will scare the patient
away. This hallway is all about timing, and may take a few tries before you can
do it, but keep at it.
The next room is the patients2 room. The room is filled with beds and red
liquid on the floor. Stand on one of the beds, and when the liquid goes away,
run across and get to the next bed. Only thing you need to worry about is the
bats flying above you. Just whack them before you run and jump across. Rinse
and repeat this procedure until you get into the next room.
The next room you will see two scared guys with TYL bubbles above their heads.
You will also see a weird older man floating around. He is who you have to
defeat. Break the TYL bubbles over each mans head to get the to attack the
older guy. The older guy will eventually scare them again so you will have to
hit the speech bubble again. I also suggest using your special attacks here,
aswell as attempting to land some shots on the old guy but be aware of the
sharp objects he uses as a force field.
Once out of that room you will be in a broken-hallway like area. Above you will
be a vent man. Dodge him by jumping down through the broken floor. Once at the
bottom, there will be some boxes wrapped in vines. Make sure to destroy those
so you can continue on. Once you destroy them, continue down this hall dodging
one more vent man. To reach the boss, just go around the corner and through the
door at the end of the hallway.

Research Machine
----------------
Rocks will be dropped from the ceiling. Side smash them, and it will hit the
boss. After a few hits, the boss will dissapear and you will start getting
sucked to the right. Dodge the rocks falling from the ceiling, and stay to the
left side of the room. Once the boss stops, go back to side smashing. Repeat
this until he is destroyed.
NOTE: You can tell when rocks will fall because some gravel/wood will drop from
the ceiling.
Walk up the beach and smash any crabs in your way. You will eventually work
yourself to a volleyball court, where you will actually play volleyball. Your
opponent will hit some balls over. This is when you will side smash the balls
into the crowd, where the crowd will hit the balls back onto the court towards
you. Now jump and smash the ball into your opponent. Rinse and repeat this
three times, until he is finished.
Once you are finished with him, jump over the fallen volleyball net and exit
the court. You now find yourself in the water. In the water will also be two
scubas. Take them out by hopping over the boats and rafts. Very shortly after
taking the second scuba out, you will be back on shore. However once you get on
shore, a tornado will start chasing you. Make your way across the food court by
jumping over tabls and crabs. Once you leave the court and turn towards the
docks, the tornado will die out. Head onto the docks to start the boss fight.
This boss fight is fairly simple. You just got to blow up the ship. To do this,
you have to use his two attacks against him.
The boss holds two crates. When one crate wobbles, he will drop it. Make sure
you are not under it as it falls, but once it hits the dock jump on it. The
boat will now lift you up with the crate. When it does, swing at the target. It
will do damage. Now jump off the crate. Rinse and repeat.
The boss also has one more move. It will smash the two crates it carries into
you. To dodge this, just crouch down. You will know this move is coming when
the two crates move outwards, then start lowering to about head height. This is
when they will slam together.

The Comedy Assassin
--------------------
After you do your stand up act, the boss willa rrive. If your quick, you can
get a few hits in on him when nothing is attacking you before your conversation
with Dr. Parallel. Once done with this said conversation, repeatedly jump up
and hit the assassin. the only thing I found to damage you is the crowd when
they throw objects at you because of their distaste in your humor. This results
in this being the quickets level.

Guard= Kuromoku Security
Guard2= Kuromoku Bodyguard
Security System= Intruder Repulsion System
Ship= Space battleship
This is one of the hardest, if not hardest level in the game. Start by walking
forward, and into the Kuromoku HQ. Walk the by Secritary, and you will be
quickly ment by a guard. Take out the guard, and start to head up the stairs.
About halfway up, there will be another guard to take out. Quickly make your
way up the stairs where there will be one more guard before a quick break. Take
this guard out and walk up to, and enter the elevator. While in the elevator,
jump on the spring to get to the top of it. Wait here until the a guard walks
into the elevator, and the elevator fully goes down.
Once the elevator is fully down, jump back into the elevator and let the guard
run out. Walk forward and down the ramp to find a Guard2. This guard is hard
to beat. Your best bet is to let him throw the grenade, let it bounce off of
you, then move back and let it blow up on him. Once he is down, head forward
again to some water. Take out the fish in the water and walk into the next
room.
This room is wher I suggest using your Slugger bento. the security system
goes off and comes down from the ceiling while toxic gases pour in. Jump up
and hit the security system repeatedly for it to break. Once it does, advance
to the next room. Here you will need to watch out for the lava. Jump onto the
first platform, then slowly make your way up and to the left, then to the
right, then back down, staying to the right. this will lead you to a staircase
with a Guard2 on it. Take him out, and proceed through the door.
This leads you to an open area. In this area is a battleship. It shoots rockets
at you. Do your side smash(triangle button) a few times at the last rocket in
each wave to launch it back at the battleship. This will quickly kill it. The
platform you are on will raise, and you will have to face the boss.

Space Battle Fighter
---------------------
This boss is very simple. All you need to do is run and jump on the capsule
looking part of the machine, then crouch and swing until he dies. You may get
knocked off when the front of the machine shoots out. If you do get knocked
off, jump onto the floating piece of the machine and wait for it to retract
back so you can just walk back up the machine. Rinse and repeat this process
for a simple boss fight.
NOTE:
For Guards, once you hit them a few times, they will start swinging at you.
Your best bet is to back up, jump up, then use the diver's anchor to hit them
in the back of the head when it retracts.

STAGE 12: 500km above Earth .............................................. SG12
===============================================================================

Here we go. The final level. This level is completely different then the
others- you control a giant robot. It can either be in it's robot form, or
transform to a more spaceship like machine by pressing the L button. Now on to
the mission!
Stay in your spaceship form and stay low to dodge the comets. Move forward, and
Gen will start talking. This is when you should transform into robot form.
Continue to stay low, and rise up. In front of you will be a robot. Take him
out, then move forward through the path he was blocking. Above you will be
another robot, then back up. This should zoom you out. It is now time to meet
the big comet.
The big comet is easily taken care of. Gen will fire missiles into it, five in
total. Start at the top and destroy the missiles you lodged into the comet.
This will cause it to break. By the time you break the last rocket all the way
on the bottom, that is.
Once the comet is destroyed, there will be three robots directly in front of
you. Take them all out, and move through small passage inbetween the two space
shuttles. Time for the final bossfight.
For the boss, stay in your robot form. He will shoot rockets at you, which you
an either smash or dodge. I advise smashing them. However, you can rush him and
all he do will be swinging a sword. To dodge this, just fly up alittle as he
swings. Continue to smash him and he will go down quickly.

Fried Shrimp Bento
Ingredients: Nori, Rice, Shrimp
Effect: Become Carpenter, Power up

Gen
Genzo Tamura, or Gen, is a 19-year old carpenter who grew up in Beranme Town.
The Tamura men have been Kirishima-gumi carpenters for three generations and
they are dyed-in-the-wool Eddoko. Gen's a master of the wooden hammer, and he's
the embodiment of justice.

Kanna
Kanna Kirishima is the 18-year-old heir to the Kirishima-gumi construction
company. She's in high school, and grew up with Gen. Cooking's her hobby, so
she often makes Gen lunch. She and Gen like each other, but nothing's
developed.

Saya Shiraishi
A young woman who was at the site of the Kuromoku disturbance in the heart of
the city. She seems to have some intrest in Gen...

Kuromoku-gumi
Their name, "Kuromoku-gumi," translates to Black Wood group and is a reference
to their evil carpentry practices. They cause disturbances throughout the land
at the order of the CEO, Hyosuke Kuromoku.

Hyosuke Kuromoku
The CEO of the Kuromoku-gumi. He loves making money, and he will do whatever it
takes to get it. He has been repeatedly causing trouble, but Gen stops him each
time.

Dr. Parallel
A self-proclaimed "Evil Genius." He provides his services to the Kuromoku by
making new mechs and gadgets. He has a rivalry with Gen's father, Genroku, who
also likes making mechs.

Mika Hawatari
A cute girl who has a violent streak. She is 18 years old. She doesn't hate
Gen, but she fights as a member of the Kuromoku. Her fiery personality has
earned her the nickname "Chainsaw Mika." She carries a giant uchiwa fan.

Dan Happa
A carpenter employed by the Kuromoku. His demolitions expertise led him to
being nicknamed "dynamite Dan." he thinks of Gen as his rival, and tries to get
him to fight him from time to time, but Gen doesn't seem to be aware of him.

Genroku Tamura
Gen's father is an expert carpenter, but his hobby is building strange mechs,
which cause those close to him a great deal of worry.

Gen's mother has a quick temper, but is very kindhearted and dependable. She
used to be part of a motorcycle gang.

Gen's grandfather is apparently an infamous legend known to people as the
"Monster Genkuro." he loves riding large motorcycles.
