I. Introduction
----------------------
Howdy, and welcome to this walkthrough for Castlevania: Dracula X
Chronicles for the PSP. here, I'll be focusing on the elusive Sound Items,
which will unlock music from DXC, as well as Rondo of Blood and
Symphony of the Night for your listening pleasure. Most of these Sound
Items aren't too hard to find, but there are quite a few that require either
previous knowledge of Rondo of Blood. This walkthrough will help those
out who are new to Rondo of Blood find all the hidden Sound Items.

II. How to Read the List

1 - Track number, as listed in Sound Assign and Sound Test
2 - Track name
3 - Which stage the Item is located in. A few of them are found by
completing Boss Rush Mode, so this is where it will say which
mode to play in order to get this Sound Item
4 - What requirements are needed to get the Item, where the
Item is located in the stage, and how to collect it. I may also
offer suggestions here when I see fit.

1 - Divine Bloodlines - Stage 1 - Reach Stage 1, and this Sound

III.b. Rondo of Blood Soundtrack

13 - Divine Bloodlines - Stage 1 - Once you defeat the Skeleton
Blaze in the third section (fast, green skeleton with knives)
and go down the flight of stairs, instead of going through the
door on the right and fighting two Golems, smash the walls to
the left of the water, being careful not to fall into the water itself.
Once inside, kill the Ectoplasm, and fall down the large hole.
Smash the wall on your left once you land, and defeat the large
Maneater, which reveals a small chunk of rock jutting out of the l
ower-left hand corner of the room. Smash it to reveal the Sound
Item.
14 - Vampire Killer - Stage 2 - In the third section of the level, destroy
the Behemoth before it kills itself, and it will leave behind this
Sound Item. It is possible to do with Richter, but I recommend
using Maria, getting the Red Bird subweapon from the second
candle in the first section, and gathering 20 hearts. Then, use
the Red Bird crash once the Behemoth begins to chase you to
get behind him. He'll stop moving, and you can attack him from
behind as you please.
15 - Cross Fear - Stage 2 - In the third section of the level, when
the Behemoth begins chasing you, fall down one of the holes
in the ground (the third helps you skip a few annoying enemies)
in order to reach the sewers. Here, continue on as normal until
you reach the doorway, with a lone candle hovering high up.
Destroy the candle to find this Sound Item.
16 - Bloody Tears - Stage 2' - When you reach the second section
with the gargoyle statues, advance until part of the bridge begins
to fall in front of a pair of Bone Pillars. Fall down with the piece of
bridge to reach a secret area where a ferryman will giude you
across the river. Jump onto the boat, and dodge/attack Mermen in
the next area until you finally see a candle on one of the columns of
the bridge. Whip it to reveal the Sound Item.
17 - Cemetary - Stage 2' - You must be playing as Maria to get this
Sound Item. In the second section with the gargoyles, continue
right as normal. Once the screen starts going down, and you see
a pair of Bone Pillars in front of a pit, jump onto the Bone Pillars and
double jump across to the platform across the pit. Smash the rock
hugging the wall to find the Sound Item.
18 - Beginning - Stage 2' - Continue through the level until you reach a bridge
made of a skeleton in the beginning of the third section. When it falls,
fall with it, but make sure to fall hugging the left wall. When you land
in the small aclove, whip the lone candle to get the Sound Item.
19 - Slash - Stage 3 - You need to save Tera to get the ability to destroy
red skeleton walls in order to get this Sound Item. Once you get past
the staircase filled with Fleamen, you'll find platforms that flip when
you jump on them, while Medusa Heads fly at you. Jump onto one
of these platforms to fall into an alternate path. Continue on this path
until you come to a red skeleton wall blocking a single candle near
the start of a horizontal section. Destroy the wall and smash the
candle to get the Sound Item.
20 - Ghost Ship Painting - Stage 3 - You must be playing as Maria to get
this Sound Item. Once you get past the staircase filled with Fleamen,
you'll find platforms that flip when you jump on them, while Medusa
Heads fly at you. Jump onto one of these platforms to fall into an
alternate path. Continue on this path until you reach the doorway at
the end of a horizonal section, with Spear Armors underneath you
stabbing up. Use Maria's slide to get into the small sections where
the Spear Armors are located, and once you defeat them, you'll find
a vase at the far right. Destroy it to find the Sound Item.
21 - Op. 13 - Stage 3 - Defeat the Golden Skeleton later on in the level,
then take the locked door path. Continue through the red hallway,
making sure to collect the Axe subweapon, and preventing the
zombie from stealing it. At the end of the hallway, there are two
platforms with a large ball weight hanging above the right platform.
Stand on the left platform, and throw Axes at the ball until it cuts
and you rocket into the room above. Smash the wall to your left,
and you'll uncover the Sound Item.
22 - The Nest - Stage 3' - You need to save Tera to get the ability to
destroy red skeleton walls in order to get this Sound Item, which
can be found in this very stage. Once you get this ability, go
through the level until you climb a flight of stairs shortly after going
through the skeleton of a dinosaur. Here you'll see a large red
skeleton wall with a single candle behind it. Smash the wall and
destroy the candle to uncover the Sound Item.
23 - Dark Desires - Stage 4 - You need to save Iris to get the ability
to destroy crystals in order to get this Sound Item. Once you reach
the Fleaman on the button, instead of pressing the button, head
right below the mashers. Continue right until you reach a vertical
shaft with cannonballs rolling down the stairs. Drop down the hole
in front of you, and smash the crystal to your left to find this Sound
Item.
24 - Dance of Illusions - Stage 4 - You need to save Tera to get the
ability to destroy red skeleton walls in order to get this Sound Item.
Early on in the stage, kill a Fleaman to reveal a swtich that
lowers a flight of stairs. Take those stairs and continue on as
normal. When you reach the large, bone filled coliseum area,
head all the way to the left to find a red skeleton wall blocking a
single candle. Destroy both the wall and the candle to find the
Sound Item.

III.c. Symphony of the Night Soundtrack
---------------------------------------------------------------
25 - Prologue - Stage 4' - You need to save Iris to get the ability to
destroy crystals in order to get this Sound Item, which can be
found right next to this Item. In the second section of the level
with the hanging skeletons, don't kill the blue frog, and guide it
to the right until it hops onto a pedastal. Then, backtrack until
you find a hole in the bridge. Fall down it, then go left, down the
staircase, and finally to the right. You'll see a candle in between
two crystals, and once you save Iris, whom is a bit furthur to the
right, come back and smash the crystals to get to the candle
with the Sound Item.
26 - Dance of Illusions - Boss Rush Normal - You'll get this Sound Item
when you beat Boss Rush Normal a second time.
27 - Castle Dracula - Stage 4' - You need to save Iris to get the
ability to destroy crystals in order to get this Sound Item. At the
beginning of the second section, you'll see pieces of wood
floating on water beneath you, then falling down a waterfall. Jump
on one of these rafts before it falls down to take an alternate path.
Continue along the raft section, then into the next section where a
ferryman will help you across a small body of water. After this, you'll
see a crystal wall with a candle behind it. Destroy both to get the
Sound Item.
28 - Golden Steps - Stage 5 - In the first section of the level, you will find
two Skeleton Flails standing on two platforms, with a large piece of
rock in the middle. Kill the two Skeleton Flails, then whip the side of
the right-hand platform to uncover the Sound Item
29 - Marble Hallway - Stage 5 - After defeating the two Skeleton Blazes
in the first section, enter the boat to see a Skeleton Archer guarding
a flight of stairs. Kill the Archer, but instead of heading downstairs,
destroy the wall on the left to reveal a secret area with two candles
hanging above. The right-hand candles houses the Sound Item.
30 - Demon's Breath Tower - You must be playing as Maria to get this
Sound Item. After defeating the two Skeleton Blazes in the first
section, enter the boat to see a Skeleton Archer guarding a flight
of stairs. Head down the stairs, and fall down to the left and push
the black boxes to reveal a hidden area. Here, hop onto the
machine on the left and use Maria's slide to find a secret area
with a Skeleton Sniper. Kill it, and smash the candles on the top
platform to find the Sound Item.
31 - Carved Partitia - Stage 5 - You need to save Tera to get the ability
to destroy red skeleton walls in order to get this Sound Item. After
defeating the two Skeleton Blazes in the first section, enter the
boat to see a Skeleton Archer guarding a flight of stairs. Head down
the stairs, and fall down to the left and push the black boxes to
reveal a hidden area filled with Skeleton Snipers. Head right through
this area until you see a flight of stairs with a red skeleton wall
underneath. Destroy the red skeleton wall, kill the Skeleton Sniper
inside, and grab the Sound Item from the second candle.
32 - Fairy's Doorway - Boss Rush Normal - You'll get this Sound Item
when you beat Boss Rush Normal for the first time.
33 - The Horde's Festival - Boss Rush Dash - You'll get this Sound
Item when you beat Boss Rush Dash a third time.
34 - Requiem to the Gods - Stage 5' - In the second section, take the
upper path to a hallway with a Red Skeleton. There, proceed
forward and jump on the platform with the button, but do not press
the button. Instead, jump over the button and smash the wall to
the right of it, then continue forward, jump on the pillar in front of
you, and smash the stalagtite to find this Sound Item.
35 - Misted Crystal Ball - Stage 5' - You need to save Iris to get the
ability to destroy crystals in order to get this Sound Item. In the
second section, take the lower path to a hallway filled with Medusa
Heads. Continue on this path until you come to an area where an
Old Axe Armor and a Harpy guard a crystal with a sole candle
behind it. This candle holds the Sound Item.
36 - Abandoned Pit - Stage 5' - Make sure to get the Stopwatch at
the beginning of the second section and at least 30 Hearts, as
the Stopwatch crush is necessary to get this Sound Item. In the
second section, take the upper path to a hallway with a Red
Skeleton. Continue to the next section, killing two armored soldiers,
and continue on until you see a platform to the right of a bunch of
grey platforms. Perform the Stopwatch crush first, THEN jump onto
the grey platforms. Continue to the left across the slowly falling
platforms until you reach the two candles, one which holds the
Sound Item.
37 - Rainbow's Cemetery - Stage 5' - You need to save Tera to get the
ability to destroy red skeleton walls in order to get this Sound Item.
In the second section, take the upper path to a hallway with a Red
Skeleton. Continue through this path until you find a red skeleton wall
with a candle behind it at the end of the path. Smash the wall and get
the Sound Item from the candle.
38 - The Lost Portrait - Stage 6 - Right at the beginning of the level, head
up the small flight of stairs, then jump back onto the platform above
your starting point. Whip the lower part of the column on the far left
to find the lone Sound Item of this stage.
39 - Waltz of the Pearls - Stage 7 - In the third section of the level, where
you must climb down the clock tower while two Harpies assault you,
reach the bottom. However, instead of heading left to the next section,
head right, jump across the gears, and smash the wall to reveal this
Sound Item.
40 - Cursed Sancturary - Stage 7 - Once you reach the fifth section of the
level, in which you first meet the skeleton creatures and the giant
sword-weilding armors, fight your way over to the left instead of
heading up the flight of stairs. There, you'll find a room with two
giant golden statues. Whip each statue six times to make a
pedestal with the Sound Item rise out of the ground.
41 - Demonic Banquet - Boss Rush Dash - You'll get this Sound Item
when you beat Boss Rush Dash a second time.
42 - Wandering Souls - Boss Rush Dash - You'll get this Sound Item
when you beat Boss Rush Dash for the first time.
43 - Pitiful Scion - Stage 7 - You must be playing as Maria to get this
Sound Item. In the large hallway below the swinging pendelums that
lead to the boss room, head all the way to the left, and use Maria's
slide to get into a tunnel in the furniture on the upper platforms. Once
you get through the tunnel, destroy the candles in the secret area to
find this Sound Item.
44 - Gates of Hell - Stage 7 - You need to have rescued the real
Annette already in order to get this Sound Item. You also need
30 Hearts, so try and collect as many as you can throughout the
level. After the falling bridge, get the key and press both buttons to
open up Annette's room in the clock tower. Here, grab the
Stopwatch, and continue on as normal. Once you reach a button
and a large gate on one of the upper sections, use the Stopwatch
crush, THEN jump onto the button and continue right below the
slowly falling gates. You'll encounter two candles along the way.
The first one holds an extra life, and the candle at the end houses
the Sound Item.
45 - Gates of Heaven - Final - Once you head up the large flight of stairs,
hold up and jump towards the left-hand brick on the overhang above
the edge of the stairs to climb up an invisible staircase to a treasury.
Here, whip the large candle to the far left to find this Sound Item.
46 - Poetic Death - Full Boss Rush - You'll get this Sound Item when you
beat Full Boss Rush a third time.
47 - The Outcasts - Full Boss Rush - You'll get this Sound Item when
you beat Full Boss Rush a second time.
48 - Final Toccata - Once you head up the large flight of stairs, hold
up and jump towards the left-hand brick on the overhang above
the edge of the stairs to climb up an invisible staircase to a treasury.
Here, whip the large candle to the far right to find this Sound Item.
49 - The Black Feast - Full Boss Rush - You'll get this Sound Item when
you beat Full Boss Rush for the first time.
