-- 1. Introduction --
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, this is another Yu-Gi-Oh game, alot different though. It
requires alot more stratagy than other Yu-Gi-Oh games. The battle
system is unique, nothing like it. You basically play on a 7x7 board
and whoever loses their 4000 Life Points first loses. If you
understand the rules and cards of the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG or any Yu-Gi-Oh
game, it will help you out a bit. Though most of the monsters, magic
and trap cards have different effects and some even have different
Atk/Def points. Though it gets a bit boring after a little while,
it is still good. =) Throught out the Walkthrough/Stratagie Guide
section, i will be putting a number beside each duelist's name.
Example: ( 9/10 ), this represents the duelist's difficulty. 1
Being the easiest and 10 being the hardest.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
-- 2. FaQ --
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: The Questions were not exactly put this way but the question
is the same.

[March 30, 2003]

Q: What system(s) is this for?
A: It is currently for PS2 only.

Q: Is the battle system the same as other Yu-Gi-Oh games?
A: No, quite different.

Q: Is this a 2 Player game?
A: It is both 1 and 2 players.

Q: Are there the 3 god cards in this?
A: No, the 3 god cards are not in this game.

Q: What cards come with the game?
A: Alpha the Magnet Warrior, Beta the Magnet Warrior and Gamma
  the Magnet Warrior.

Q: Can my Yu-Gi-Oh Forbidden Memories data be used in this game?
A: No, though you can use it to alter the duelist in Custom Duel.

Q: How long will this game take to beat?
A: To be honest, it takes about a few hours (3 or 4), but after you
beat it, its all about getting better cards. So its still fun
  after you beat it.

Q: Did you clear the game?
A: Yes, yes i have.

Q: What is Reincarnation?
A: It is basically a new features which allows you to sacrifice a
card (Out of a Duel) and get 3 New cards.

Q: Is the password at the end of Forbidden Memories for this game?
A: Yes, you can use it to get a card.

Q: Can the Fusions in Forbidden Memories be used in this game?
A: Most of them can, but some can't be done.

[April 15, 2003]

Q: How do i get a Blue-Eyes White Dragon? It's not in Kaiba's
  Graveyard Slots.
A: You can only recieve it as a Slot Rare (Line up 3 cards). It
has not actually been determined what 3 cards you need to get. Im
  still working on it.

Q: I cant seem to Level after Major? What's wrong?
A: After a few levels it is harder to level, just keep trying.

Q: Why cant i get Exodia piece's from Jasper Dice Tudor?
A: You have to try and reincarnate them. Try cards with 5 DC like
  Fake Trap, etc.

Q: How do i get more arrows on for Slot Rares?
A: You have to level up your Deck Leader to Major+.

Q: How do i get Destiny Draw, that Yugi has?
A: It's a Leader Ability for some monsters only. Try Dark Magician.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
-- 3. Story --
--------------------------------------------------------------------
The Story goes from Egypt to France and England. Its quite boring and
complex but I'll give you the gist of it. You are a duelist brought to
the year 1490 to duel in some Rose War in France or England. Its the
War between Kaiba (White Rose) and Yami Yugi (Red Rose). You have to
choose a side to fight for White or Red?, You decide.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
-- 4. Opening --
--------------------------------------------------------------------
It starts off with the two with Kaiba and Yugi with their Dark
Magician and Blue-Eyes White Dragon. It goes on showing some cards
and the duelists in the game. Then it shows a speeded-up clip of the
actual game and some battle cut-scenes.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
-- 5. Starting the Game --
--------------------------------------------------------------------
After the Opening is the Title Screen with a big Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelists
of the Roses Logo, and a "Press Start". Then there is 4 options
"New Game", "Continue", "Custom Duel", and "Trade".

-----------------
- 5a. New Game
-----------------
When you go into New Game it shows you a brief slide-show and text of
the story. Its quite boring actually, but if you want to read it go
right ahead. After that, you put in your name (Note: Some Names will
let you start off with better decks. Example: Konami, Puzzle,
K-Yugi). It will ask you if you want to watch a Practice Duel
(Tutorial). Once you press "Start" there is no turning back, until
its done that is. Then you pick your deck. It shows the Deck Leader,
Deck Type(s) and Deck Attributes. To choose press "<" or ">". Once
you are done, press "Start". After some talk, you have to choose a
side, Kaiba (White Rose) or Yugi(Red Rose). "Up" and "Down" to
Select. Once you have chosen press "Start".

-----------------
- 5b. Continue
-----------------
When you go to "Continue" from the Title Screen it lets you resume the
saved data. Note that youcan only create 1 data per memory card.

-----------------
- 5c. Custom Duel
-----------------
This option lets you select a CPU oppenent and duel them. You are able
to pick a field to duel in. Once you have completed both White and Red
Roses, you will be able to make your own map. Oppenents may change.
- A PS2 Memory Card with DOTR Data in Slot 1, Duel Master K (Your
 Exact Deck)
- A PS2 Memory Card with DOTR Data in Slot 1 and a Memory Card with
FM Data in Slot 2, Duel Master T (Exodia Deck)

-----------------
- 5d. Trade
-----------------
When you enter "Trade" it will show both Player's Decks, Chest, etc.
You will be able to trade as much as you want for as little as you want
or anything. Its quite basic actually.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------
-- 7. Starting Out --
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Help, tips, etc. on starting the game.

-----------------
- 7a. Sides
-----------------
When they ask you to join a side (Red or White) you can pick from
either one, personally I think that starting off with White (Yorkists)
is easier from some reason. When you join White then line-ups are:

Actual Name:        Name in DOTR:
---------------------------------
Tea          /      Tea
Tristan      /      T. Tristan Grey
Mai          /      Margaret Mai Beaufort
Mako         /      Mako
Joey         /      Joey
Shadi        /      J. Shadi Morton
Soloman      /      Jasper Dice Tudor
Bakura       /      Bakura
Yugi         /      Yugi

If you choose to join Red (Lancaster) the line-ups are:

Actual Name:
Weevil       /      Weevil Underwood
Rex          /      Rex Raptor
Bones        /      Necromancer
Keith        /      Keith
Panik        /      Darkness-Ruler
Pegasus      /      Pegasus Crawford
Para or Dox  /      Labynth-Ruler
Ishtar       /      Ishtar
Heshin       /      Richard Slysheen of York
Kaiba        /      Seto

At the end of both stories are a Duelist (Last Boss) and once you
beat him you beat the side. His name is Manawyddan fab Llyr, and to
my knowledge, he is not in the cartoon.

-----------------
- 7b. Deck
-----------------
When you pick a Deck, it would be better to pick one with less
Attributes and Types so that you can focus on that specific Type or
Attribute. The Deck that you start off with is just fine, but if you
would like some extra cards I recommend the following:

Card:                  Password:     Effect:
Mirror Wall            53297534      When your oppenent attacks
                                    the monster's Atk is halved.
Seiyaru                2H4D85J7      2500 Atk, Gains 300 Atk when
                                    Dueling a Fiend.
Change of Heart        SBYDQM8B      Controls any oppenent's card
                                    for 1 turn.
Green Kappa            YBJMCD6Z      When flipped, it copies the
                                    strongest monster's ATK and DEF.
Mimicat                69YDQM85      Revives any card from either
                                    graveyards under your Control.

But if you're one of those people who choose not to use the passwords,
its up to you, I suggest that new comers use passwords and try it
without passwords if you want to. When you are making a deck, you
should watch the DC (I think it means Deck Cost), if your deck's DC is
higher than an oppenent's DC, you cannot face them. The better the
card the more DC it has, there is no real limit to your DC, but if
you want to face oppenents, you should keep your DC low. If your DC
is equal or lower than your oppenent's DC its ok to Duel them but
not if its too high.

-----------------
- 7c. Dueling
-----------------
Dueling is quite simple, if you didn't see the practice duel that they
provided, you should probably just play and find out how to play. Or
you can read this =). Well, you start off with your DL (Deck Leader)
and 4000 LP (Life Points). When your DL gets hit, its like getting
hit by Direct Damage in other Yu-Gi-Oh games. You are able to move
your DL. When you press Square and press Square again on a blue space
(Blue space = Summon area) you can look at your hand (5 cards max,
in hand). To summon its pretty basic, Press X. It will let you
confirm your move. Now you highlight it and you can move/change its
position. If a card is in DEF mode, it has to turn into attack
mode to move. If you don't know how to calculate LP, here is how:

ATK < ATK  -  The monster with the lower ATK is destoryed and you
             subtract their LP.
ATK < DEF  -  The monster with the lower ATK has it's ATK Points
             subtracted from the
             DEF Monster's DEF Points.
ATK > DEF  -  The DEF Monster is Destoryed, no LP lost.
ATK = ATK  -  Both Monsters are Destroyed, no LP lost.
ATK = DEF  -  Nothing happens, no LP lost.

---------------------------
- 7-1. Cards
---------------------------
There are two types of cards, Monster cards and Magic cards. These c
ards can be placed on the in Face-down attack position. In the same
turn you can swtich them to Face-up Attack, Face-down Defense, Face-up
Defense or keep it there. Your oppenent can see what card you have
played with the card is in face-up position. They cannot see the card
when it is in the Face-down position. Card positions have a significant
impact on special effects, Battle determinations and results. When a
monster card is in the face-up position a 3D model appears over the
card. Here is a list of the types of cards:

Monsters:                                Magic/Trap:
- Aqua                                   - Magic
- Beast                                  - Power-up
- Beast-Warrior                          - Ritual
- Dinosaur                               - Trap
- Dragon
- Fairy
- Fiend
- Fish
- Insect
- Machine
- Plant
- Pyro
- Reptile
- Rock
- Sea Serpent
- Spellcaster
- Thunder
- Warrior
- Winged Beast
- Zombie

- ?? (Most likely Immortal)

Here is a list of the attributes of cards:

Monsters:                                 Magic/Trap:
- Dark                                    - Magic
- Earth                                   - Trap
- Fire
- Light
- Water
- Wind

---------------------------
- 7-2. Deck Leader
---------------------------
In addition to the 40 cards in the deck, players designate an
additional monster card as a Deck Leader (DL) DLs do not have any
attack or defense parameters and are treated as a Moving-Base. When
summoning monsters, players can summon monsters to any of the 8
sqaures surrounding the Deck Leader's position. If your Deck Leader is
attacked, the ATK of the attacking monsters is subtracted from your LP.
Since DLs must be monster cards a 3D model will always be displayed
over the card. To mark the monster card as the DL, a red or white
rose emblem, depending on your side, is displayed beneath the model.

Ranks:               Stars:        Yellow Stripes:        Red Outline:

---------------------------
- 7-3. Duel/Turn/Round/Battle
---------------------------
A Battle that ends in either with a win or loss is called a Duel. The
order which players in a duel take action in called a Roun and
duelists play by alternating rounds. A Turn is complete when both
duelists have finished a round. Turns are repeated until victory
conditions are met. A Battle is when two monsters get close to each
other and fight.

---------------------------
- 7-4. Hand/Summon
---------------------------
The 5 cards you hold in your hand are called your Hand. During a duel
you Summon or select cards from your hand and place them on the field.
In order to have 5 cards in your hand, when you Summon, cards aree
Drawn from your Deck to your Hand.

---------------------------
- 7-5. Options
---------------------------
There are a few In-Battle Options you can change:

Option               Possible Change 1          Possible Change 2

- Monster Battle -          - Display-                -Abbrevigte-

  - Sound -                 - Stereo -                - Mono -

thingy.

---------------------------
- 7-6. Graveyard
---------------------------
Spell card cards that are used or monster cards that are destroyed
during the duel are sent to the Graveyard where they accumulate.
Your cards and your oppenent's cards accumulate seperatly. In
general, cards cannot be used in a duel once they are sent to
the graveyard. Unless of a Effect/Magic/Trap card. You and your
oppenent's Graveyard list can be activated by pressing R1, on your turn.

---------------------------
- 7-7. Victory Conditions
---------------------------
You will win the duel if you can meet any of the following Victory
Conditions. Your oppenent can also win the duel if they meet
these conditions:

- If one's LP is depleted the other duelist wins!

- If one's DL is completely surrounded the other duelist wins!

- After 100 turns, the duelist with the most LP wins the duel!

- If one's DL is Exodia the Forbidden One and every piece of
Exodia is in the duelist's summoning area. The Exodia duelist
 is victorious!

-----------------
- 7d. Fields
-----------------
It is always good to know your fields, so you know what monsters get
powered up by and what they get weakened by. Here are the field and
Effects:

Field:     Favorable:                    Unfavorable to:

-- 8. Walkthrough/Stratagie Guide --

This will give you stratagies and help against duelists in the game.

-----------------
- 8a. Red Rose vs. White Rose

This is for when you join Yugi (Red Rose) and you go against Seto
(White Rose).

---------------------------
- 8-1. Weevil Underwood ( 7/10 )
      Leader: Basic Insect
      DC: 854
      Location: Chester
---------------------------

Map: Consists of Forest (F), and Wasteland (W).

---------------------------
If you have a deck with Bug/Plants this would be a good place to use
them, since Weevil's field primarily consists of Forest fields. At the
beggining of the duel he will bust out some face down cards which will
allow him to gain 50 LP per turn. This usually happens but not always.
He likes to move his DL to specific places, that can be used to your
advantage. You should try to move your DL close to him and attack with
some strong monsters, his most powerful monster is Perfectly Ultimate
Great Moth. It has 3500/3000, so if he gets it out, you should try to
use some magic/traps to weaken or destroy it. Another useful thing to
do against him is use alot of monsters over 1500 ATK, since he is one
of the first duelists he has very weak monsters, but some can be strong
so be careful. Fusions can also be useful, if you have some weak
monsters that dont do much, you can use them to fuse. There are some
fusions down at the "Fusion" section. He is not very hard, but its
annoying since he only has 854 DC and you cant really put any powerful
cards in to beat him with. After you have defeated him, you get your
first rose card and two paths will appear.

---------------------------
- 8-2 Pegasus Crawford ( 8/10 )
     Leader: Illusionist Faceless-Mage

---------------------------
You could have dueled Keith or gone back to Rex, but i chose this path.
He is pretty easy, and since he has HIGH DC, you can put some very
powerful cards in, if you have any. On this field it is divided into
two, your side is Meadow and his is Toon. The toon field are for Toon
monsters (Obviously) and Pegasus's cards (Cards he has in the cartoon
that are non-toon.Example: Saggi the Dark Clown, Parrot Dragon, etc.).
Not sure why, but oh well. You should notice that no monsters can go
onto the Labyrinth Field dividing the two sides, but there are two
sides. You should stay in between the two fields, beside the
Labynths and summon monsters from there. Powerful monsters are of
some use in the Toon field, because most of them are weakened by the
toon field, they are of less use. Try making fusions and luring his
monsters to the Normal field by laying your cards face-down. He
primarily uses cards that he had in the cartoon. If you know the
cartoon, you know his deck (Mostly). He is sort of hard, but he can
also be easy if you know what cards to use at what time. He can
summon strong cards like Toon Summoned Skull, Ryu-ran and others.
Just destory them witha magic/trap or something and try to get them
in the Gravyard Slots. After he is beat, two more paths will appear.

---------------------------
- 8-3 Labyrinth Ruler ( 6/10 )
     Leader: Monster Tamer
     DC: 1016
     Location: Newcastle
---------------------------

Map: Consists of Normal (N), Labyrinth (L), Dark (D), Sea (S),
Meadow (M), Forest (F), and Crush (C).

---------------------------
You could have chose the other path which leads to Ishizu Ishtar, but
we'll stop here first. His field is pretty messed up, its some weird
mix of fields, like Meadow, Dark, Normal, etc. Dividing these fields
is three walls of Labynths. He will stay on his side, near the Labyrinth
fields. If you notice something moving in the Labyrinth, it has to be a
card like, Wall Shadow, Labynth Tank and some more. None of his cards
are really strong at all, but he has quite high DC. There are no primary
cards you should look out for. But if your DL is standing near a
Labyrinth Field, you should probably move away, since no monsters can
defend you while a monster from the Labyrinth field attacks. He also
has cards like, Monster Tamer which can increase all of his Monster's
ATK and/or DEF. He usually keeps monsters near his DL, so Change of
Heart would be a useful Magic Card. Hes not even worth dueling after
you have beaten him, no really good cards, no challenge, and no fun =(.
After you beat him there is a secondary path which leads to Keith.

---------------------------
- 8-4 Ishtar ( 8/10 )
Leader: Witch of the Black Forest
     DC: 861
     Location: Isle of Man
---------------------------

Map: Consists of Sea (S), Wasteland (W) and Crush (C).

---------------------------
We come to Ishtar, using Witch of the Black Forest as her DL, when her
field consists of Sea and Crush fields! Most of her monsters adapt with
the Crush and Sea fields. She has some rare cards and most of them are
just strong and useful or weak and useful. You can easily beat her by
changing the Sea/Crush field to another field that your monsters are
strong on. Unless your monsters are strong in the Sea field, then i
suggest that you use it to your  advantage. You should use water types.
Since there is alot of Sea field, your water monsters can move two
spaces instead of one. Fusions are useful here. There are not really
any stratagies for beating her, because she is pretty easy to beat.
But you should consider beating her a few times, get some good cards
in the Gravyard slots =).

---------------------------
- 8-5 Keith ( 8/10 )

---------------------------
We return to Keith, he is worth dueling. Hes is not that easy, plus he
has good cards. Such as Zoa, Metal Zoa, Slot Machine, etc. You should
probably get some strong machine monsters. A good fusion with very
little cost is Metal Dragon. Just combine any dragon with the ATK lower
than 1850 and combine it with any metal monster. It will have a total
of 2350 ATK. His field is Labyrinth/Wasteland. Cards you should watch
out for are Zoa and Metal Zoa, dont  want to mess with those, unless
you got powerful monsters. When you see his one of his "?" cards being
combined with some magic/traps from his hand, it is most likely Metal
Zoa. An easy way to beat that is, if you have a powerful monster that
gets powered up with a field you have or other magic cards you  have,
you should use them all in a combo. Fusions are extremely helpful when
dueling Keith. I dueled him about 5 times and got Metal Zoa, Zoa, Metal
Morph, Slot Machine, Barrel Dragon, Launcher Spider and lots more.
After you beat him a path will lead to Darkness-Ruler.

---------------------------
- 8-6 Darkness-Ruler ( 8/10 )

If you have watched the cartoon, you would realize that this is Panik.
One of the many adversary's of Yugi. He possesses the some of the same
cards that he used in the cartoon against Yugi. He has quite some
powerful cards, you should be careful if you see any of his cards being
powered up before they get layed on the field. Since his field consists
of Dark and only 8 squares of Forest. It would be good to get some good
Zombies, Fiends, and Spellcasters. Unless you have a field card, it
would be a good idea to stick to those three types. There are not much
stratagies to use against him, except to watch your monsters. If he has
face down monsters and your monsters are weak, you should switch the
weak ones into defense. You should duel him a few times for more
powerful monsters.

---------------------------
- 8-7 Rex Raptor ( 7/10 )

Rex is pretty much a pushover. If he gets his more powerful cards,
then he isnt a push-over. But as long as you beat him fast its alot
easier, if your trying to get Dinousaur cards though, this is a good
place. Some of his Dinosaurs can be harder to destroy. Since they are
powered by the Wasteland fields. If you have Dinosaurs, Machine, Rock or
Zombie type monsters up your sleeve, you will be alright. His field
consists of lots of Wastelands and a few rows of Labyrinths. The
easiest way to beat him is to get any monsters that are good in
Wasteland and use your two-space move advantage to attack his DL when
close enough. I suggest you not to duel him after you have done it
once, unless you want to, then you can do as you wish. He does not
really have any rare cards, i dont even think he has the Serpent
Knight Dragon that he had in the cartoon. After you defeat him a
path will lead to Necromancer and a path will lead to Darkness-Ruler.

Now, you have to take out most of your more powerful monsters for
this duel. He only has 795DC! So therefore you have to take out more
powerful cards. His side of the field is Wasteland for his Zombies,
your side is Meadow for .. something. And seperating the 2 sides is
Labyrinths. Necromancer is pretty easy, its just that his weak zombies
suddenly turn into all powerful zombies of destruction, with the field.
Actually not all powerful, probably around 2500 ATK at the most. He is
Ey-Zay, not really any stratagies against him, hes not even worth
beating, no good cards. Tsk.Tsk.
After that will be access to Richard Slysheen of York, or Heishin,
the all powerful guy. Or.. atleast he was all powerful in Forbidden
Memories =/.

---------------------------
- 8-9 Richard Slysheen of York ( 8/10 )
     Leader: Battle Steer
     DC: 1039
     Location: Bosworth
---------------------------
This is a surprise duel, after you beat Necromancer this will appear
soon after. If you have played Forbidden Memories for PS, you will
recignize him. He was the one with all the powerful monsters like Black
Skull, Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon and
other powerful monsters. But in this, hes quite pitiful. I played
him about three times and he did not once pull out a really powerful
monster. The strongest that he pulled out was probably Swordstalker.
His Deck mostly consists of Warriors, Beast-Warriors, and other
monsters like that. Monsters that he usually likes to start with are
Rude Kaiser or Battle Ox. They are powerful when on the Meadow field,
which his map is full of. But around the outside of this map is
Mountains, so thats where most of my monsters hang-out, until his
monsters come to attack. You should put some Warrior/Beast-Warriors
in your deck, Swordstalker is a good one. Dragon and Winged Beasts
are also useful in this, if you like to just hang-out and just wait
for you oppenent to attack. You should duel him a few times if you
find him easy, he could pull out some powerful monsters and all you do
is destroy it =). Seto will be available after you defeat him.

---------------------------
- 8-10 Seto ( 9/10 )
      Leader: Blue-Eyes White Dragon
      DC: 1184
      Location: Stonehedge
---------------------------
The long awaited Seto Kaiba, with his Blue-Eyes White Dragon. He is
pretty hard, with his Blue-Eyes and all. He has lots of powerful
monsters in his deck, i suggest that you restrain yourself from
attacking his face-down monsters, if your monster is 2000ATK or less.
Most of his monsters are stronger than that. Oh yeah, and dont go in
there thinking his field is filled with Mountains for Dragons and
such. It actually has lots of Meadow, 4 Forsests and some Labyrinths.
I suggest Sword Stalker, a strongmonster that is good in Meadow. His
DL usually sticks to one side of the field, andsummons
monsters/magic/trap cards to do his dirty work. Just incase you dont
know what Lord Of Dragons does, it stops all Magic/Traps/Effects from
touching Dragons. So dont use Magic/Trap/Effect cards while this
monster is on the field. He is hard, but not all that hard, if you
lose to him it will probably take a few more tries unless you get
lucky or something. Well, if you beat him or destroy one of his
Blue-Eyes White Dragons, dont expect them to appear in the Graveyard
slots, it wont  show. After that Manawyddan fab Llyr, the unknown
person of the cover of the box will be available to duel. If you
want to duel Seto again, but Manawyddan fab Llyr is there instead of
him. Just press L1 or R1, Seto will be there.

---------------------------
- 8-11 Manawyddan fab Llyr ( 10/10 )
      Leader: Skull Knight
      DC: 1985
      Location: Stonehedge
---------------------------
The last boss (On the Red Rose side), Manawyddan fab Llyr the name is
long and weird. He is really hard, at the beggining of the Duel he will
cast Riyoku on one of his monsters. Rikyoku is a magic card that takes
half of your LP and increases the monster's ATK by how much it took
from you. You will then have 2000. A good thing is to have Magic Jammer
face-down at the beggining of the Duel. That will stop Rikyoku. He will
have some very powerful monsters out, but around the the side. His
field is full of Crush in the center. And the edges and stuff is
Meadows and 4 Forests. A good stratagy against him is to get Change of
Heart and control one of the nearby monsters and Direct Attack his DL.
Other ways is to destroy the monsters in the middle area. Since none
of them are over 1500 ATK, you can get any monster that has 1500 ATK
and destroy his monsters in the Crush Field. Also make sure that you
have everything you need for facing the White side, like if you wanted
a Zoa, and you didnt get it yet, you should get it before facing him.
If you beat him thats good =) but you will not be able to face anyone
from the Red Side until you beat the other Side too. After you beat
him there is a ending.

-----------------
- 8b. Red Rose Ending
-----------------
Congratulations! You have past the Red Rose side! I cant really
include any spoilers to ruin it for anyone who hasnt really beat the
game. Its not really a ending, just some text and story, and then
credits. I advise you to read the text slowly, dont flip through it.
Because at the end of the text is a password for something, im not
sure what its for but i advise you to keep it.

-----------------
- 8c. White Rose vs. Red Rose
-----------------
This is for when you join Seto (White Rose) and you go against Yugi
(Red Rose).

---------------------------
- 8-a Tea ( 8/10 )
     Leader: Dancing Elf
     DC: 933
     Location: Windsor
---------------------------
Honestly, this was the hardest duelist I faced. It took me about 10
tries to beat her. It was probably because when i started to play it
I had very little knowledge of the game. Well anyway, she is quite
easy if you start off joining Red Rose. But if you join White Rose
first, you might have some trouble, like I did. She likes powering
up her monsters and making fusions and such, it would be useful to
keeps some Cursebreakers or something to de-activate those power-ups.
If you get a Mirror Wall in this duel, you pretty much win this. Try
to keep some strong monsters in this duel, but with the low DC you
should probably keep some weaker ones too. Her field is sort of a mix,
mountains, meadows and lots of normals.. =/, so not much point in
basing your whole deck on 1 type/attribute, eh? After that, you are
headed off to Tristan's house.. yay!..

---------------------------
- 8-b T. Tristan Grey ( 4/10 )
     Leader: Karbonola Warrior
     DC: 1149
     Location: London
---------------------------
This is extremely, extremely easy. First of all, he has no strong
monsters or magic cards that can turn the duel around for you, and
his field is stripes of different fields. You can easily defeat him
with powerful monsters and magic/traps because he has weak monsters
and high, high dc. Stratagies are not really nessicary to beat him.
After, you go to Mai, with her funky name =/.

---------------------------
- 8-c Margaret Mai Beaufort ( 8/10 )
     Leader: Harpie Lady
     DC: 1003
     Location: Canterbury
---------------------------
Mai is pretty easy, took me 1 try to beat her. She put up a fight
for a round or two, though. But then it just went downhill for her.
She has powerful cards that can put up a fight when on Mountain,
such as Harpie Lady Sisters, Punished Eagle, etc. You should make
your deck so it is based on Dragon/Winged Beast, since her map
is mostly Mountain. But if she does get out her powerful monsters,
try to get your DL as far away as you can. Get magic/traps to
destroy her monster/magic/trap cards, such as Raigeki, Mirror Force,
Dark Hole, etc. After this, you go onto a little island thingy to
face Mako Tsunami =).

---------------------------
- 8-d Mako ( 8/10 )
     Leader: Kairyu-shin
     DC: 1001
     Location: Strait of Dover
---------------------------
Get your water-guns out, and fire!.. hahahahahaha.... anyway, you
can probably tell what her has in store for you, water, and lots of
it. A very common, yet powerful, yet high DC card is Suijin. If you
were to reincarnate a high DC card 50 or 60 or so, you will MOST
LIKELY get this card. Believe me, i've got like 20 of this card.
I dont really know any other water-types that are powerful like that.
Just keep in mind that you need Water based monsters, not machines,
machines are no use here. Water power-ups are also very useful.
After this, you go to Joey Wheeler.... -_-;;

---------------------------
- 8-e Joey (9/10)
     Leader: Flame Swordsman
     DC: 970
     Location: Amiens
---------------------------
One of the luckiest ****'s in the game, i lost to him once.. because
he just happens to be extremely lucky. Oh well.. He has powerful
cards and magic/traps to back them up, is should probably be better
if you didn't rush him head on with monsters. Just stay back with
magic/traps up your sleeves, or attack with powerful monsters
(3000 ATK+). You should watch out for his Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon,
its rare for him to get it, but he does get it. His map is basically
a mix of fields, no worries. Just keep up the strong
magic/monster/traps and you'll do fine. After, you go to Shadi, the
egyptian guy.. ooh... sca~ry...

---------------------------
- 8-f J. Shadi Morton ( 7/10 )
     Leader: Millenium Golem
     DC: 982
     Location: Paris
---------------------------
Ahh! Fields divided by Crush >_<..Well, he runs a weak monster/fusion
and power-ups deck, since his map is 4 sections divided by crush
fields, not having weak monsters would be bad. You dont really need
to put weak monsters into your deck for this duel. If you are active,
meaning you move you DL alot, put strong monsters and some weak and
fusion ones too. He is quite easy if you know what to do. Just keep
in mind that Change of Heart, and Brain Control will NOT work,
because of his Millenium Golem's Leader Ability. Not sure what the
ability is called or anything, but just dont try any controling
cards, if you know what I mean. Next, you're off to the Grandpa's
house! >_<

---------------------------
- 8-g Jasper Dice Tudor ( 7/10 )
     Leader: Exodia the Forbidden One
     DC: 1078
     Location: Le Mans
---------------------------
I Summon Exodia! The Forbidden One!!, I havent actually seen it be
fully summoned before (just too good =). Well, hes really easy, he
tries too hard to get his exodia out on the field, just get cards
like Change of Heart, Dark Hole, etc. and hes doomed. He hides in
his little square surrounded by Labyrinths. That area consists of Dark
fields, get spellcasters and stuff to attack his DL since its easy to
trap him in there. High DC for such an old man, no? He has no
powerful cards in his deck, just lots of weak monsters, magic and
traps. Easy, yes. but if he gets his Exodia out, you're doomed.
After you beat him, head on to Bakura for a "Low DC Deluxe"!.

---------------------------
- 8-h Bakura ( 9/10 )
     Leader: Dark Plant
     DC: 757
     Location: Rennes
---------------------------
Why does his DC have to be so low?! I never bothered to duel him,
after I beat him once. His DC is the lowest in the game. He has
lots of annoying skills that allow him to get +50 LP per turn,
yes.. very annoying... He has weak monsters, that let him walk
freely on the crush field as you wimper with strong monsters in a
corner. Unless you have weak monsters in your deck (which I advise
you to add). You probably wont even be able to put any strong
monsters in due to high Dc. But its useful to add in some strong
plant/insect monsters, just to keep yourself alive. He gets a
9/10 for difficulty, but a 20/10 for being annoying...
After him, go onto Yugi, one funky haired *beep*.

---------------------------
- 8-i Yugi ( 7/10 )
     Leader: Dark Magician
     DC: 1206
     Location: Brest
---------------------------
I've beaten him over 100 times =). Im so proud. Not only does he
have high DC, but he is easy. I use him as a DL leveler, for my
Dark Magician =). He has cards like Dark Magician, Dark Magician
Girl, Black Luster Soldier, Mirror Force, etc. that really piss
you off. His field is absolutly horrid, mixed up completely. Oh
well.. Strong monsters are a MUST for beating him, unless you have
Mirror wall, then its not that much of a MUST. Things to keep in
mind is that he has come-backs. When you get him to 1000- LP, he
will be able to use Destiny Draw, which allows him to get a random
rare card thats not in his Deck, into his hand. Its usually Mirror
Force. Using Change of Heart is a easy way to beat him. He has
powerful and weak monsters. From Dark Magicians to Celtic Guardians,
either way, he is easy. After that, its the infamous Manawyddan fab
Llyr again (How do you pronounce that)..

---------------------------
- 8-j Manawyddan fab Llyr ( 9/10 )
     Leader: Chakra
     DC: 1891
     Location: Stonehedge
---------------------------
Wow, him again. Now even easier than before. He starts off with lots
of powerful monsters and Riyoku (Grr.. half of my LP!!). Get change
of heart or Brain Control, control them and attack!. I killed him,
first try. =) His field consists mostly of Dark, in the centre of
the map. Dark Magician is coming for you!, Manawyddan fab Llyr ;).
After you beat him, the ending is coming =).

-----------------
8d. White Rose Ending
-----------------
You've done it. You've beaten the whole game, in what?.. 2 hours?..
hahaha.... well, it end with Seto's chain getting left behind or
something.. just watch the ending, its hard to explain. After that
it shows you a password, keep that. Then the credits, etc.
After you have beaten this, you can access ALL duelists from both
sides, have fun! =)

9c. Reincarnations
-----------------
Reincarnations are pretty much random, but i should recommend that you
should find the DC of a card you want and reincarnate a card that has
about the same DC as that card. Since when you reincarnate, the cards
that you get are cards of the same, or almost the same DC.

9e. Slots
-----------------
Slots is basically a reward of cards that you have defeated. After you
defeat a card, and it remains in the graveyard at the end of the duel,
it will be in the Graveyard Slots. There you can spin for cards and
if you get them, you get to keep that card. There are also Slot Rares,
that is when you match 3 cards in a row to get a new and better card.
Most of the time, the slot rares are random, but there are some specific
ones:

x3 Dark Magician      = Dark Magician Girl
x3 Dark Piecing Light = Swords of Revealing Light
x3 Harpie Lady        = Harpie's Feather Duster
x3 Thunder Nyan Nyan  = Rageki ( Contributer - DuelMaster_Max )
x3 Illusionist Face.. = Brain Control
x3 Dark Energy        = Dark Hole

Other Tip/Tricks/Secrets..

9h-a. Leveling Deck Leader
---------------------------
A Deck Leader is able to Level according to how often you use the
card in play, how many times you win, or if you use the card at all.
Leveling up is basically to get leader abilites (see Leader Abilities
section for more detail) and more arrows for slots, etc.

Things to do to level up your Deck Leader.
- Put 3 of it in your actual deck and play them as often as possible
(Even if it means reviving them for suicidal reasons)

- Dont let the monster get destoryed the turn it was brought to the
 field

- Keep the card(s) face-up as long as possible

- Try to attack weaker monsters, or the oppenent's DL as much as
 possible.

- Flip it face-up even if it is not nessisary (It will NOT get any
 exp if it remains face-up)

- Win Every Freakin' Duel! ^_^

Things NOT to do to level up your Deck Leader.
- Keep the card face-down

- Keep the card in your hand (It needs to breeeeeeeathe..)

- Lose

9h-b. DL Leveling Trick(s)
---------------------------
A trick to level up your DL requires that you have beaten both sides
of the game. After that, you are able to create your own map in the
Custom Duel. You are suppose to edit your own map and surround your
oppenent's area with Labyriths:

N N L N L N N
N N L L L N N
N N N N N N N
N N N N N N N
N N N N N N N
N N N N N N N
N N N N N N N

It should look a bit like that. After you have done this.. play the
map and you will find out that you are able to beat your oppenent
without doing anything but pressing START to end your turn. When
it is your oppenent's turn he/she will automatically surrender.
This will give your Deck Leader exp and will help it level faster.
If it is a card such as Dark Magician you can also get a card like
Dark Magician Girl as a slot rare.
