This FAQ is for the PlayStation 2 version of WWE SmackDown vs RAW 2007. This
FAQ is only to be posted on GameFAQs, if you see it posted anywhere else, or if
you find anything that you think will help me in the next version please e-mail

2. Ultimate Control Moves

What are Ulitmate Control Moves?
According to the game manual: "Ultimate Control Moves give players the freedom
to decide when and where they want to lay the SmackDown on their opponent. To
perform an Ultimate Control Move, you must first be in a grappled state. Once
in a grappled state, press the R3 button to initiate the Ultimate Control Move.
Follow the instructions along the Heads Up Display (HUD) to select a grapple
move. After a grapple has been selected, press the right analog stick in the
direction as indicated along the HUD. Each Superstar has four Ultimate Control
Moves for each one of their four strong grapple holds."
There are a total of 12 Ultimate Control Moves's in the game. They are:
Arm Wrench
Backbreaker
Chokeslam
DDT
Lift Up
Oklahoma
Piledriver
Powerbomb
Samoan Drop 1
Samoan Drop 2
Suplex 1
Suplex 2
To initiate an Ultimate Control Move, while in a strong grapple, press R3.

**Example**

Initiate: This is what your superstar does once the move is initiated.
Controls: These are the directions for the R3 button once the UCM has been
initiated.
Up
Down

In this example: As soon as you initiate the UCM, you have four
different possiblities. You can press Up, Down, Press or Rotate the
R3 Stick. If you press Up, a new button becomes available with a
different move. Likewise, if you press down, two new moves become
available.
Mobility: This indicates whether or not you have the ability to walk while
performing an UCM.
Special Situations: This will indicate certain abilities that come with
certain UCM's. Such as, throwing over the ropes, breaking
tables, etc.

**Arm Wrench**
--------------
Initiate: Grab opponents arm and spin around, twisting your opponents arm.
Controls: Up
Hook kick - While your opponents arm is twisted, your superstar
will step slightly to the side and turn around. At full
extention of the leg, the knee is bent and the foot
snapped to the side, striking the opponent in the face.
Down
Elbow to elbow - While the opponents arm is twisted, your superstar
will strike the elbow of the opponent with his/her
elbow.
Press
Short-arm Clothesline - While the opponents arm is twisted, your
superstar Irish-whips the opponent, but
holds onto the arm. When the arm is
completely extended, the wrestler pulls the
opponent back, and clotheslines him.
Mobility: None

**Backbreaker**

Initiate: Raise opponent to chest level
Controls: Up
Raise opponent over head
Down
Pendulum backbreaker - While holding your opponent in the
air, your Superstar will drop the
opponent, back first, onto their
knee. The they will raise back to the
previous position.
Press
Pendulum backbreaker - Same as above, except your superstar
will let the opponent fall to the mat
Down
Fallaway slam - Your superstar will fall backward throwing the
opponent over their head and down to the mat, back
first.
Special Situations: Near, and facing, the ropes, throw to outside.
Mobility: Able to walk

**Chokeslam**
-------------
Initiate: Put hand around opponents throat
Controls: Up
Raise in the air
Down
Chokeslam - While grasping your opponent's neck, your
superstar will lift them up, and slam them to
the mat.
Special Situations: Face ropes to chokeslam outside of ring
Face table to chokeslam through table
Face turnbuckle to chokeslam into turnbuckle
Press
Place both hands around neck and lift up
Down
Two handed chokeslam - Your superstar will grasp the
opponent's neck with both hands, then
lift them up, ane choke them before
throwing the opponent back down to
the mat.
Special Situations: Face turnbuckle to chokeslam into turnbuckle
Mobility: Able to walk

**DDT**
-------
Initiate: Place opponent head under arm
Controls: Down
Spike DDT - While the opponent is in a front facelock, your
superstar will fall backwards, driving the opponent
vertically down to the mat head first
Counter-Clockwise
Swinging Neckbreaker - While the opponent is in a front facelock,
your superstar will simultaneously turn
around and fall to the mat, forcing your
opponent to do the same.
Press
Leg Swing Snap DDT - While the opponent is in a front facelock,
your superstar will draw one leg backwards
before swinging it forward to build extra
momentum. They then fall to their back,
driving the opponent head first to the mat.
Mobility: None

**Lift Up**
-----------
Initiate: Lift opponent over your head
Controls: Down
Gorilla press powerslam - Your superstar will drop the opponent
onto the superstar's shoulder and fall
foreward, driving the opponent to the
mat, back first.
Up
Raises opponent higher overhead
Down
Lowers opponent to previous position
Press
Gorilla press drop - While holding opponent high overhead,
your superstar will release the
opponent, dropping them face-first on
the mat.
Special Situations: Face ropes to throw out of ring
Face turnbuckle to drop on face
Press
Gorilla press gutbuster - While holding your opponent overhead,
your superstar will drop to one knee and
force the opponent's stomach onto the
exposed knee.
Mobility: Able to walk

**Oklahoma**
------------
Initiate: Lift opponent onto shoulder
Controls: Up
Oklahoma Slam AKA Running Powerslam - While the opponent is laying
on your superstar's shoulder,
your superstar will take a
few steps and fall forward to
slam the opponent against the
mat back-first.
Special Situation - Face turnbuckle to slam into turnbuckle
Down
Powerslam - While the opponent is laying on your superstar's
shoulder, your fall forward to slam the opponent
against the mat back-first.
Press
Modified gutbuster - While the opponent is laying on your
superstar's shoulder, your superstar will drop
to their knees, driving the opponents stomach
into your shoulder.
Mobility: Able to walk

**Piledriver**
--------------
Initiate: Opponent is bent over and placed between legs
Controls: Down
Jump up in air, land on back of opponent's head
Press
Pulling Piledriver - While the head of the opponent is between your
superstar's thighs, your superstar will grab
your opponents midsection, fall back, and pull
the opponent onto the mat head-first.
Mobility: None

**Powerbomb**
-------------
Initiate: Opponent is bent over and their head is placed between legs
Controls: Up
Opponent is lifted onto back with arms spread out
Down
Crucifix Powerbomb - While the opponent is on the back of
your superstar, he/she will bend
forward, and throw the opponent
to the mat.
SS: Face ropes to powerbomb to outside of ring
Face table to powerbomb through table
Face turnbuckle to powerbomb into turnbuckle
Press
Opponent is lifted onto shoulders in a seated position
Rotate Clockwise
Spinning Powerbomb - Your superstar will spin around in
several rotations, before slamming the
opponent to the mat.
Down
Powerbomb - While the opponent is on your superstar's
shoulders, your superstar will bend foreward and
slam your opponent to the mat.
Up
Raise back to previous position
NOTE: Maximum of 3 times
Mobility: Able to walk, ONLY while opponent is on your back for the Crucifix.

**Samoan Drop 1**
-----------------
Initiate: Raise opponent up on back of shoulders
Controls: Down
Fireman's carry takeover - While the opponent is on your shoulders,
your superstar will simultaneously pull
down on their head while pushing up on
their feet, flipping the opponent and
slamming them to the mat.
Swipe Counter-clockwise
Rolling fireman's carry slam - While the opponent is on your
superstar's shoulders, you will
run forward, flip over, and slam
the opponent onto the mat. Using
the extra momentum, you will then
roll over the opponent.
Mobility: Able to walk

**Samoan Drop 2**
-----------------
Initiate: Raise opponent up on back of shoulders
Controls: Press
Samoan Drop - While the opponent is lying across your shoulders,
you will fall backwards, landing on top of your
opponent.
Rotate Clockwise
Airplane spin - While the opponent is lying across your shoulders,
you will spin around, disorienting them.
Mobility: Able to walk

**Suplex 1**
------------
Initiate: Raise opponent up in the air, as in a Vertical Suplex.
Controls: Up
Reverse Suplex - While your opponent is in the vertical position,
your superstar will fall to their stomach, driving
the face of the opponent into the ground.
Special Situation: Face ropes to drop on ropes
Face table to drop on table
Down
Flex Leg Muscles. Show off to crowd and gain momentum.
Press
Vertical Suplex - While your opponent is in the vertical position,
your superstar will fall backwards slamming the
opponent's back to the mat.
Mobility: Able to walk

**Suplex 2**

Initiate: Raise opponent up in the air. Vertical Suplex.
Controls: Up
Front Suplex - While your opponent is in the vertical position,
your superstar will throw the oppoent back to the
mat, driving their face into the ground.
Special Situation: Face ropes to drop on ropes
Face table to drop on table
Down
Flex Leg Muscles. Show off to crowd and gain momentum.
