Intoduction

This is a guide to help those who, like a lot of other people, don't read
Japanese and can't quite figure out all the menu's in WE7. For the most part
the menu's are similar to PES so it's quite easy to figure out; but some are
darn right impossible. This faq has been put together through what Shevchenko7
posted on GameFaqs and my Trial and Error work with the game. Hope this helps
some and if anyone has answers to the many ???? that litter the menu systems
here, feel free to email me with what they should be, or just post it up on
GameFaqs. Regarding any email, make sure the heading is WE7 or i'll probably
trash it. Enjoy!

This is probably the final update on this faq. I managed to get a hold of
PES3 and ALL the menus are in and corrected where appropriate. I hope this
guide still helps those who either can't/won't patch WE7 or those who bought
WE7 on import. On a side note, I noticed WE7 seems to have a few things that
PES3 doens't (Obviously all the online stuff and a few other options besides)
The master league and training modes are all done in detail now, so enjoy!

1 First load your Master League game.
2 Then go to the transfer market option (4.132).
3 Then Select the Browse the market option (4.1321).
4 Find the Player you are interested in purchasing and select him.
5 Go next to Players in Negotiation Option (4.1325).
7 Make a bid for him.
8 Go and Play a match.
9 Then the player will either accept or reject your offer
10 If he accepts there are two things may happen :
a He will join your team as he accepts the offer.
b Or he will play out the season with his current club and then join.

Free Transfer Option

After you've managed to get together 10,000 WEN you can opt to buy the free
transfer option, which as the name suggests let you transfet players freely.

Now go to 6.1, the Player Edit Menu.

As you can see two new options are available under 6.14. Options c and d
appear once you have bought the free transfer option from the WEN-SHOP.

C. This option allows you to pick players from International teams and
transfer them to clubs such as taking Tim Howard from USA and transfering
him to Manchester United (Tim Howard is not in any club in the game).

Step by step for this example:
- Select Manchester United
- Scroll down to the end of the player list click on the empty slot after
the last player.
- Select USA.
- Select Tim Howard
- Now you get Tim Howard in Manchester United. Geremi in Chelsea needs
this same method, you'll find him in Cameroon.

D. This option is to transfer players between clubs. Normally you would need
to swap players only, for example getting Beckham to Real Madrid requires
swapping him with someone in Real Madrid.
Now here's how to do without swapping using Beck example:

- Select Manchester United.
- Select Beckham.
- Select Manchester United again.
- Scroll down till the end of the list and Select the last player, now you
get Beckham being the last player in the list.
- Next Select Manchester Untied again.
- Select Beckham
- Select Real Madrid
- Scroll to the end of the list and click the empty slot (If Beckham had not
been put at the end of the list the empty slot would be greyed out)
- Now you get Beckham in Real Madrid

Quick WEN
=============================================================================

This is one of the shortest ways to get the 10000 WEN in order to buy the
free transfer option.

Play the cup tounaments, you get a bonus of 50 WEN for each match played in
the cup. Certain cups are pretty short because you get to skip the first
match like in the Asian cup, where there are 6 teams.

International cup - 2400 (Approx)
Euro cup - 1350
African cup - 1100
America cup - 1150
Asian cup - 1100

That totals to about 7100 WEN. You only get the bonus for winning the cup
once.

Then go to challenge training. Here get WEN for each level you complete, for
each type of challenge:

1 star - 10 WEN
2 star - 50 WEN
3 star - 100 WEN
4 star - 200 WEN
5 star - 400 WEN
Totalling 760 WEN for completing each challenge. Now the easy ones are the
ones you should aim to do first. They are as follows:

- Long pass Challege: Use Beckham
- Manual pass: This one is really easy, Just use the right analog stick pass.
Sheva7 suggests Zidane.
- Scoring : You try to score a goal against the computer. I used Brazil with
Ronaldo and Rivaldo. Beware of offside.
- Defending :You defend the goal, if you clear the ball past the half way line
or the computer misses the shot, you win. I used Italy with Cannavaro, Nesta
and Buffon.

These 4 would give you around 3100 WEN so all together you get 10200+ assuming
you don't lose any of the cup mode matches.

stats by a certain amount or to raise Englands. Thanks for this hit tip goes

1 = strengthen attributes by 5 points

- Libero and Pad Name Options: On the pad select screen press L1 to reduce
auto switching to minimum, then press it L1 twice more to get to the Libero
Option. It will then take you to the formation screen and ask you to select
which player which pad should be fixed to.
Pressing Triangle on the pad select screen lets you scroll through what name
you want above the selected players head. Number, Pad Name, Player Name,
Nothing. The Default is Number. The Pad Name can be assigned from the game
options.

- The yellow sign with a figure in it appears to be basically where the ref
has seen a foul but lets play continue. Mostly this is playing advantage but
not always.

turned into a full objective guide for those that didn't like wandering
