Introduction

So what the hell was I thinking when I conceived of this idea then?
Well, like many people, I was mad to learn that my favourite team was not
included in the game, so I resolved to create it as soon as possible. I've
included the statistics and appearance of all Polish players for you to copy
down if you want. Classic Poland is based on 1974' Poland team that made it so
well in the World Cup Finals in Germany with additional help of players from
1982' World Cup in Spain where Poland also finished third. I also added a
couple of famous Polish players to make it the real All Polish Stars Team.
I've tried to be reasonable for player stats by not making them too good, and
these are just what I think, so change them if you so desire.
IMPORTANT: Some of the players' appearances and basic settings may not be 100 %
true, becouse I couldn't find any reliable data on them (what I mean is mainly
weight and height of some players), so you are free to edit them if you want.
But in my opinion, It should stay as it is (especially stats), regarding almost
two months of testing it.
Classic Poland is a strong team, (comparing to others Classics, they on the
level of Classic Netherlands) but they can be easily beaten if you know how to
play:) So don't complain you can't win against Poland, because they're to
strong or fast etc.

Before You Begin

Before you start editing the game, you should be aware of a few points.
1) You can overwrite two of the "Fake" teams, PES or WE united which
appear at the bottom of the team selection menu as Classic Poland.
2) Beware that created players not players overwritten cannot be
transferred to your team. You will need to overwrite players; this is
OK because there are a lot of players who have left clubs to join teams
not featured in the game, and then you must transfer these players around.
You can ensure that your created player has the right nationality but this is
too painstaking to find correct players.

The Team

Finding a team to change into Classic Poland is a must.
Go to the Edit Menu. Select Edit Team. Find the bottom two clubs, PES
and WE United. I used PES, but its completely up to you. These teams
are not real. Whichever you choose, select it.
You should now have 5 options:
- Team Name
- Strip
- Flag
- Team Colours
- Stadium
Team Name:
Select this option.
For the first part use CPL.
For the second, use Classic Poland.
Finally, you must choose a commentary name. Because Classic Poland isn't
available (bastards ;), I used
"Poland", which is very appropriate.
Strip:
Select this option.
When prompted, select 1st Strip, Strip and edited strip.
1st Strip:
Note: When I refer to the first column should be white, I mean the
little squares which resemble colour.
Jersey:As a home shirt, select the second jersey up, second column
in, and choose without collars. For colour, the first column should be white,
second white and third red
To get the perfect shade, choose the 5th shade in the second column.
Shorts: For shorts, choose the fourth one up in the second column,
and then the second shortest possible cut when prompted. For colour, first
column is red, second red (again the 5th one down in the third column) and
third one must be white.
Socks: Choose the first pair of socks up in the first column. For
colour, the first column should be white and the second one should be red.
Armband: Should be red.
Name on strip: Select black as the colour, and the first style of fonts
on the second row.
Emblem: The emblem should appear on the left breast.
Numbers: Select the third font, and black as the colour.
Shorts: Choose to have the number on the left leg, and the number
colour as white.
You should now have the Classic Poland home kit created. Congratulations!
Now onto the second strip.
2nd Strip:
Press triangle until prompted to change the second strip. Choose edited
strip.
Jersey: the same as in the 1st strip. Colours:red, red, white
Shorts: the same as in the 1st strip. Colours: red, red, white
Socks: the same as in the 1st strip. Colours: red, white.
Armband: Should be blue
Name on strip: Select white as the colour, and the first style of fonts
on the second row.
Emblem: The emblem should appear on the left breast.
Numbers: The third number, and it should be white.
Shorts: Numbers should be on the left leg, and white.
You now have home and away kits sorted out.
Flag:
Simply use the national flag of Poland
Team Colours:
Set it to white and red.
Stadium:
Obviously the Œl¹ski Stadium is not included, but there are similar
grounds. AT the moment, all that is similar is The Bayern Stadium so use it.

Stats and appearance

Its all about the players, so you probably want to know what the they
look and play like. I created these players appearances using pictures
of the first team squad that I had in my mind and found on the Web, and they
are entirely based upon my opinion, so don't complain if someone looks a little
different; I tried my best.
Also, all attributes are based on my sole opinion and I may have over
exaggerated a few. Again, feel free to edit them as you wish.
Important: The Classic Poland team was one of the best in in the world in
1973'-75', so I insist nothing should be altered more in the stats, they should
be just fine.
Important: As far as boots are concerned, use the sixth type. Sleeves should be
seasonal (except for goalies-they have always long) - I guess that's the
outfits the wore those days.
Created Players stats and appearance:
There is no way to transfer created players into a
club team (Bastards), we need to overwrite created players and then
transfer them over. A godsend is the useless PES and WE united who are
fictional, and it is okay to overwrite them. Unfortunately, we cannot
change nationalities so I'm afraid Robert Gadocha will have to be
Scottish, but it doesn't matter or affect the game.
You can overwrite players of the same nationality who have retired or
gone to a club not in the game if you want. You should know who those
are, but I think its easier the other way. It's up to you.
Go to modify player. Select the player you want to modify and you will
be given the following options:
1: Name.
2: Position.
3: Basic Setting.
4: Appearance.
4a: Face.
5: Ability.
6: Special Ability.
I will describe all the previous components and variables in that
order. There is a great face builder where we can create a unique face
for a player. If you're not satisfied with the results I acieved, create the
appearances on your own. I hope you find this easy to understand. Here are the
players in no
particular order. Also, many names are understandably not included in
the commentary list, but I decided to follow other ways i.e. you could instead
use the number if you don't like my choices.
Important: When it comes to faces of the Poles: some of them are similar to the
oryginals, some of them aren't. It might be improved in the the next versions
of the guide. For now, feel free to edit them If you're not satisfied with my
results.

Despription: Voted the best Polish footballer ever. Actually he was even
better;). Almost a complete player. He's got everything: great passing skill,
wonderful playmaking, good scoring, incredible dribbling. His free kicks are
like Beckham's.
He could even score directly from a corner!! (he made it once I guess against
Poartugal). Unfortunately he died a couple years ago in a car accident in San
Diego. The mastermind of the whole team.

Description: All right, here we go. Here we have without doubt the most
talented ang gifted footballer that ever kicked the ball in Poland. He is said
to have had the most brilliant dribbling, incredible football cleverness and
unbelievable scorin skills. Many football experts said he was even more gifted
than Pele! In his whole career he scored 1185 goals! Unfortunately, his career
were slowed by the outburst of the II World War. he scored 21 goals in 22 caps
for Poland and 13 goals in 8 caps for Germany who he played for after the War.
In one single league game he scored 10 goals! But he was made famous for
scoring 4 goals against Brazil (where the famous Leonidas appeared) in the
World cup '38!!! The game ended 5-5 (the fifth goal for Poland was scored from
the penalty for tackling Wilimowski in the penalty area), but Brazil won after
the penalty shoot-out. All the witnesses from those days say he was the
absolute world soccer superstar, making the defenders look silly, almost never
missing and dominating almost every game he took part in. In he PES 3 he's your
best attacker - rely on him, his dribbling will get you straight to the goal (
of course you must know how to dribble well in the game ;).
