Hello, and welcome to my Customization FAQ. I made this mainly because I
noticed there wasn't one, and I thought there should be. This is the first FAQ
I've made, so it's not going to be great, but I'll provide all the nessacary
information.

C. Customization
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In Tales of Symphonia, there exists a process by which the player recieve
stronger weapons or armour without having to buy them. The player simply needs
to have a certain weapon or armour and the required Raw Materials. Raw Materials
are usually gained through battles with monsters; being picked up after the
battle, but they can also be found in chests in dungeons and the such. There
are also some places in towns at which you can trade GRADE earned in battle for
Raw Materials.
Once the player reaches Triet(or another town with Customization),
Customization can be done at the customization shops located in some towns from
then on. It costs nothing and is a good way of getting powerful weapons and
armour. Sometimes they're even more powerful than the weapons or armour you
can buy in that town.
Below you will find a list of Raw Materials and Upgradable Weapons and Armour.
Following them will be a list of where the Customization Shops are and what
weapons they upgrade and what they need to upgrade.

This is a complete(as far as I know) list of Raw Materials, and monsters that
drop them. There are a few shops that require items besides these, but those
items have other uses, so I've left them out. I may add them later.
