Through countless hours of time, we've managed
to compile all data pertaining to these sets. And we
do mean all.
Take note that only 3 of the following sets are
special sets: ones that you can't create by normal
methods, and which have to be found in specific areas,
which will be noted further down in this guide.

It would appear that if you have your heart set on the Diamond or
Platinum sets, you would be best to buy the pieces you can. Also,
remember that once you view an Item Shop or Armor Shop in the
world, their inventory is added to Chadli's shop back at HQ.
NOTE: This excludes Bargain Items.
Keep in mind that many of these items don't show up in the shops
until after you liberate the three islands.

a. Trade Items (and a small tip!)

Here's the Tip:
If money isn't a big deal (which at this point of the game
shouldn't be, since just stick on the Prosperity Rune or
bring Noah along, fight a few battles, then you're good)
then I believe you can do the following all at one spot.
Go to a Trading Post (either at Middleport, Mordo Island,
Obel, Na-Nal or Nay-Kobold) and purchase 10 of each of the
'bad' types of ore and cloth. If there aren't 10 of one
item available, then just wait 5 minutes and the store will
restock (or you can visit each of the Trade Posts and buy them out).
NOTE: It has been my experience that selling 10 may not result
in having the next level of material available. I would suggest
trying to sell in groups of 20 (for bad-normal) and groups of
40 (for normal-good) if 10/30 doesn't work.
Once you have your 10, sell them to one of the five posts.
Wait 5 minutes for the store to restock, and then the
store should have items of the next level ('normal') in
stock. Buy those (along with any other 'bad' items in
the inventory). Follow the previous steps until you have
30 'normal' items (of one kind). Then, do as before,
sell, wait 5, buy. Then, you should be able to buy 'good'
items of the kind you've been selling.
Keep up these steps with each kind of item:

And you'll be able to buy each kind of item regularly in the
Trading Posts (as by selling 'bad' you open up 'normal';
selling 'normal' opens up 'good') without having to do any work!

So, as you can see, if you want to do this all at once to make
it a LOT easier when gatehring items for Sets, you're going to
need about 25,000-75,000 Potch, although the amount you have
will steadily run out and fill back up again with all the
selling and buying.
NOTE: When buying and selling, 'normal' items (if selling 'bad')
and 'good' items (if selling 'normal'), will only show up
IN THE SHOP YOU SOLD THEM AT. So, if you sell 'Bad Iron Ore'
at Nay-Kobold and get 'Normal Iron Ore' at Nay-Kobold,
'Normal Iron Ore' will not be available at Mordo Island until you
sell 'Bad Iron Ore' at the Mordo Island Tradng Post. So, you will
need to visit each of the five trading posts in order to open all
3 types of material at each unless you focus on Mordo Island for
5 kinds, and then Obel, Na-Nal, or Nay-Kobold for the 6th kind.)
