I. Introduction
*******************************************************************************
Ok, here we go again. Actually I was going to wait for the release of
'Splintercell Chaos Theory' to make it my next 'project' but then I got in the
mood for another FAQ and decided to have a go on this game in the meantime.
Let's hope for the sake of the progress of this walkthrough that I will finish
before Splintercell3 is released. ;)

I will write this walkthrough for the easy mode since I suppose that those of
you who play in any other mode won't need this walkthrough anyway or probably
have already beaten it in the easy mode before.

English is not my first language, so please ignore any mistakes in grammar and
spelling you might (and quite likely) will find. I've done my best and I hope
you will appreciate my effort.

Now, let's save the world, shall we?

II. General Game Tips
*******************************************************************************
Here just a couple of points that crossed my mind in no specific order:

+   Use your weakest weapon first, nothing more annoying than getting caught up
   in a tricky situation and running out of strong arguments

+   Don't move when your are in disguise and enemies or civilians are nearby;
   get out of their way and wait until they have passed you, otherwise they
   will become suspicious

+   Want to save health? If you are low on health and almost out of medi packs,
   consider getting yourself killed in order to refill your life bar - if you
   do this just after you passed a savepoint you won't even have to replay an
   awful lot

+   If you play as Sheila be aware that guards will get back up when you attack
   them without a weapon; this could give them the opportunity to raise an
   alarm, so be quick to knock them out again

+   It is almost impossible to get Billy killed; since he has the health of a
   rhino you might want to play as this character your first time through the
   game

+   Billy has a punch like Bruce Lee - Save ammo by not necessarily shooting
   enemies or locks.

+   Since Sheila is rather weak she is better equipped with the shaver (-though
   I have to say it looks weird on a woman)

+   If you pass a savepoint the caution rating will start over again so you
   might want to wait in your previous position until things are back to
   normal

+   Careful with your square button - once you've drawn your gun and aimed it
   is easy to waste ammunition simply by releasing the button in case you've
   changed your mind about using the gun

+   Need more equipment? Simply leave the area and return again - crates will
   be back where you've previously destroyed them and you can knock a guard
   out over and over again causing him to drop the same item again and again.
   - especially useful for acquiring additional security tags and even medi
   packs

+   Can't find the box - If you cannot find or hit the box of a camera try
   shooting the camera itself, this should stun it for a couple of seconds
   and give you the time to get past. (Thanks Chris)

III. Walkthrough

Billy Bishop & Sheila Crawford:
===============================
Ok, this first part isn't too tough especially since you can start over and
over again until you are sure what to do. Simply move the left analog stick
until the grey cross hairs turn red - this happens once you have managed to
line it up with the red dot on your screen. If you are feeling quite secure in
aiming at the target you can try and pick up some of the green stuff coming at
you, but you should rather focus on avoiding the red mines which will soon
become more and more. Once you reach 3000 feet you should open your parachute
by holding down the square button and releasing it soon afterwards. A cut scene
will be triggered off.

Follow the others down the ladder ahead of you and take a nice little picture
of Nicklaus once you are down there (taking pictures of Nicklaus during the
right missions unlocks something - forgotten what though.). Now start smashing
those crates in order to get your first goodies of the game. Don't forget the
barrels. Done with it follow Nicklaus.

Run down the stairs until you can see some crates in a niche in the wall to
your right. Climb up and get the goodies by smashing everything up there. Head
on further down the stairs. After the cut scene sneak past the guard (simply
sneak the other way around the statue than he walks) or take him out. If you
play as Sheila sneaking might be the better choice since she is weaker than
Bishop and will need more hits to take him down if you don't use a weapon. By
the way the white light in front of the guard marks the area he can see.

Once you have entered the next area watch out for the guard to your left. The
other one to your right is asleep so just sneak up on him and put him to rest.
Then head on until you reach the door, but keep an eye on the position of the
patrolling guard. Go through the door and meet with Nicklaus.

Go to the next yard and listen to your instructions. Now turn to the wall that
has been in your back - don't worry about the guard who had been in front of
you, he is too far away - and run towards it. Jump and press L1 to get a grip
on the ceiling. Now move to your left until you reach the corner. Change into
first person view and watch the guard below you. Once he has stopped to your
left jump down and head on, you will find an entrance to your right. Get in
before the guard turns around.

Your turn to get changed now. But before you do so go into the corner to your
right and smash the crates. There is also some ammo near by, but if you haven't
used any yet you won't be able to pick it up.

Now position yourself next to the container Nicolas used to get into his
disguise and take a picture of the soldier. Jump into the container and get
changed. (Seems that Sheila can save more data than Billy) Now walk over into
the opposite corner and get in the back of the soldier. Take him out and then
smash the crates here as well. Now go to the entrance of the building.

Head down the stairs. Simply walk past the guard (don't get too close) and use
the right moment to smash the left armor for a medi pack. Go up the stairs and
watch the cut scene. Immediately open fire. Simply shoot three shoots or so in
a row and then move to enable the auto aiming to find a new target. Then
immediately shoot again. Repeat as often as necessary. If you have time in
between get rid of your gun and smash the crates for goodies, because once you
have caused enough damage among your enemies the next cut scene will be
triggered off and all the goodies will be gone. Drop into the hole and crawl
into the vent to move on. Follow its turns until you reach the other side.

As you have seen there are guards in this yards. But first get the ammunition
to your left (back down the stairs). Now go up and take out the patrolling
guard. You can climb onto the crates for this and then shoot him. Now climb up
the ladder he was guarding and walk onto the bridge to the right. Stop where
the bridge gets broader and point the camera towards the windows of the tower
slightly to your right. Your 'high-ranking officer' Dietrich Troy is walking up
and down in the room so zoom in on the right window and wait until he turns his
face in your direction. Take a picture and climb back down.
By the way, you could have also used the ladder to your left on your way up. I
simply consider it easier to take out a soldier on the ground than climbing up
directly into a guards face. Do what ever pleases you.
Back down turn right and get a goodie from the behind the corner, then go back,
smash the crates and get into the barrel in order to change into Dietrich. Now
approach the gate slightly to your right. There is a guard in there, my advice,
give him a shave - with your stun shaver that is. Now smash the crates and
approach the chapel. Cut scene. (How on earth did Dietrich get there before
you?)

Billy Bishop & Sheila Crawford:

Back to the beginning. First get out of your disguise by climbing into the van
nearby or using the container near the opposite wall. Now get the ammunition
from underneath the lorry and start smashing crates (stay out of sight). Then
go to the vent which is located on a wall to the left of the van and get in.
Crawl through to the other end and take a picture of the scientist and one of
the security guard. You might will have to back off in between since they will
hear the sound of your camera. Now get out of the vent and back to the parking
space. Use the van to get changed into one of the above - I suggest the police
guard just in case you screw up. You will need the scientist's disguise
'unwanted'. Now use the door to enter the corridor.

Eavesdrop a bit and walk past and up the stairs. A guard is patrolling the
corridor. Make sure you don't get too close to him while passing. To the right
you will see some lockers. Get in one of those and change into the scientist.
Then proceed further down the corridor and turn right. Stay away from the
cleaner, he looks harmless, but will question you if you get too close. Go
through the second door on the left and approach the security guard behind the
window.

Smash everything in the next room and head on to meet with your superior. He
will give you your instructions. Leave through the other door and turn left
into the corridor. A door will be opened and someone will come out. Get in
there and turn left. You will find a recreation area ahead. The Sports weekly
is lying on the floor to your left. Get it and then head on further down the
corridor. Turn left and go through the door ahead.

Use the keycard you have been given to open the door to your right. Remember
not to get too close to people, some of the scientists in there are extremely
nosey. Turn left and ignore the corridor to your right. Walk through the door
next to it. Get the newspaper out and your middleman will appear. Listen to him
and then leave the room to get to the lab on the second floor. Just go through
the door you used the first key card with and head down the corridor. Beware of
the civilians and go into the cafeteria. Take the stairs to get to the second
floor. Use the key card in the second corridor (if you used the stairs closest
to the entrance of the cafeteria).
There are two ways of getting this next job done:

  A) Turn right into the corridor and use the door to your left. Knock out the
scientist and get out of your disguise. Climb into the vent and you will end up
near in the lab in question. Crawl into the dead end with the grate from which
you can see the scientist at work and take a picture. Then exit on the open end
of the vent. See the locker? Use it to change into one of the scientists and go
to your right (your character's left) behind the screen. Install the
retina-scanner.

  B) Try to walk into the lab at the end of the corridor, you won't get in
unless you are Dr. Kaysen. So it's out again and back to the cafeteria area.
You can stay up there on the second floor, simply use the gap in the railing to
position yourself in a place from where you can take a picture of Kaysen. He
will be somewhere near the stairs to your left, if I remember correctly. Now go
back inside, get changed in the room in the first corridor to your right and
approach the receptionist again. She will let you in and you will be able to
walk to Kaysen's desk. Install the retina-scanner.

I suggest you try solution A) which is absolutely hassle free. The advantage?
The scanning. If you have dressed up as Kaysen, you will have to hide and stay
very close to him at the same time. It is possible to hide even exactly in his
back by sticking to the wall, but the getaway afterwards is a bit of a mess
since you could be seen by any of the other scientists. It is easier to stay in
the disguise of the scientist and simply wait next to the locker. Don't get in
just wait and turn your back to the scene. Once Kaysen uses the microscope
simply hold down the circle button. If he takes a break, wait and hold it down
again. As simple as that. Once you have a hundred percent and he is gone remove
your disguise and get into the vent through which you came in. Almost too easy,
eh?

Knock out the scientist in the locker room and get back in disguise. Once back
on the corridor turn right and use the second door to your left. Watch out for
any noisy people and climb up the ladder ahead. Send the woman to sleep who is
standing there staring holes in the air, she could give you away if you don't
do it. And also it could look a little bit suspicious when you start trashing
the picture in front of her to get the password out of the frame.

Now leave the room and head back down to the cafeteria and from there through
the kitchen. Almost home, eh? Not quite. Once you try to leave the next area
you will be send back to get the b****y retina-scanner out of the microscope
again. Remember route A)? Simply use it to retrieve the scanner but don't
bother getting changed in the lab, the other scientists will be lying on the
floor anyway. Oh and by the way... you only have seven minutes to do so. Route
B) as Kaysen won't work anymore, his receptionist has gone home, so you will
have to use the vent. Watch out for the guards who will be in alert. Once you
grabbed the scanner go back the same way you came. Vent, locker room,
cafeteria, kitchen, storage area and so on. On the corridor take care not to
alert the cleaner or you will end up being shot at. Simply head down the
stairs, past the scientist and guard and to the parking lot. No need to rush.
When you know what you have to do it is possible to end this mission with more
than four minutes left on the timer. Samuel will be waiting for you and you
will speed off.

                          ///Case 02 - 24 + Wolf\\\

Billy Bishop & Sheila Crawford:
===============================
What? First they get you out, now they send you in? Make up your mind!
For this mission you can choose the route for entering the building. Let's take
one at a time.

If you use the parking lot:

Take a picture of the guard near by and then jump into the container to get
changed. Now give the guard a good 'shave' (stun-shaver) and then walk around
the lorry to 'shave' the other guy. Done with it start smashing crates before
using the door to enter. 'Shave' the next guard as well -(funny seeing Sheila
holding a man's shaver against her face without raising any suspicion) - and go
upstairs. 'Shave' the sleeping guard to the right and then take care of the
next guard ahead. Once everyone has a smooth and soft skin move on through the
door ahead. Another guard is in the next area, take him out before you smash
the crates for goodies. Up the stairs and send another guard to sleep. Eve was
right, this place is crawling with guards. Don't turn left, go through the door
straight ahead. In the next room you will find a ladder on the wall to your
left. In case you find it to dark in here use a cigarette to light things up a
bit. Follow the corridor until a green light points you to a door, enter. Climb
down the ladder in front of you and you will reach a locked area. Lucky for you
the lock will brake after a couple of punches so give it a good beating.


If you use the roof top:

Smash the crates and you will clear the way to a vent. Get in there and follow
its turns. Pick up the ammunition in the corner before you get your rappelling
kit out. Now jump into the hole and you will use the kit automatically. Get
your gun out and shoot the control box (green light). This will disable the
laser and you can move on. The first one is easy to find, simply check the ends
of the lasers to find the box. Let yourself slide down further and spread out
to reach the goody, then proceed until you reach the second laser. This time
the box is slightly to the left of one of the beams. Rappel down a bit further
until you reach the height where the last laser beams you just shot used to be
- turn and you will find the next box here slightly underneath. Shoot it,
rappel down and spread out to get the next goody. See the next goody? Now I
don't know how to get it, but it will point you to the right wall for the next
box. Flatten out and rappel down until you almost touch the next laser beams.
Then look to the wall I just mentioned and turn slightly to the left. You
should see a green light underneath this metal catwalk. Once you aim with your
gun however you will only be able to see a corner of the box, never mind, this
will do just shoot it. The next box is further to the left in the middle of the
wall right underneath the beams. Shoot it and proceed. Again you might just see
the box not the green light once you aim. Turn left again while rappelling down
and you should see a green light shining at you. Switch it off and you will be
done here. Rappel down and break the lock on the door to get through.

Once in the corridor go to the locker room  - take out the two guards you will
encounter on the way - and use the vent. In the lab take out the guard and exit
through the door. End the shift of the guard on the corridor and enter the door
to your right. Nervous guard? Let's put him out off his misery, but non-lethal,
please. Get the disc you came here for and get back to the locker room through
the vent in the lab. Once in the locker room look for another door than the one
that leads to the corridor and you will find another area with a vent. Get in
and crawl to the other side. Now there is a package worth getting. Smash the
two boxes that are piled up on top of the others, not the ones on the ground! I
think you won't be able to reach the ceiling otherwise. Now equip your spider
grip and climb onto the boxes. Attach yourself to the ceiling and get to the
other side. Body armor! Not so important if you play as Billy, but for Sheila
it is a real treasure.

Note: Chris Olson has informed me that there are changes to the layout if you
play a cleared game in expert difficulty and without hints. He found a pistol
clock instead of the body armour underneath the ceiling. Here is what he wrote:
- From ground level you can't jump high enough to get the grips to the roof.
Normally the boxes are there and its normally body armor. Well this time there
is only one box and its a carboard box that breaks if u jump on it. It was odd
and I couldnt find a way to get up there. Try playing as the girl ....

Go up the stairs until you reach the laser beams. Go to the right and as close
to the beams as possible. You should see the box you are looking for to your
left behind the pillar on the ceiling. Shoot it. The next one is almost at the
same location so simply repeat the method. Same goes for the next just this
time it is to the right and hidden in the dark. A cigarette might help. The
last one is exactly in the same position as the previous one, it is just almost
impossible to see it. Feel it. Rely on your agent instincts. ...well just shoot
it, or if you can't, role past the laser. Go down the ladder and watch the cut
scene.

Ok, now comes a real nightmare. At least for some of us. In my opinion the
hardest part of the whole game, so prepare for sweat, anger and frustration.
The similarity to Mission Impossible is almost ridiculous, but then again,
everything in this game has been done in one spy movie or the other. So let's
get over with it and move on:
I will try to help you as much as I can, but you will understand how difficult
it is to give you exact instructions. A lot will depend on your timing.

Here is what I can tell you:
You will have about 40 to 44 seconds before your cooling spray will wear off,
and it does not matter how often you use it. I counted it and always ended up
somewhere between 40 and 44. Forget about Michael's suggestion to go up again
once it starts losing its effect, you won't make it anyway once you are too far
down. You also might want to take a note of the code before you make your way
down, you will need to enter it.
Now to the job at hand: Don't let the amount of beams confuse you. Take them
one at a time. There are three layers of lasers. The first and the third layer
are best passed in upright position. For the second one it depends on your
personal preference.
Now let's talk about timing. Get everything ready, equip the rappelling kit and
use the cooling spray. Now simply jump and hold the left stick downwards. You
will get through the first beam no matter what (only if you do not stop
somewhere in between), keep going. Having passed the first one so quickly will
give you more time to focus on the next layer which is the most difficult one.
It is possible to get it done in one go by spreading out during the downwards
move at the right point, but it is really hard to find and there is too much
luck involved than that it could be repeated more often.
Instead spread out once you are sure you are pretty close to the next layer
(but not too close or your legs will touch the beams) and move the camera
underneath your character so that you can see when he/ she almost touches the
laser. Now make sure you can see all of the beams of this layer. There is a
moment when the beams moving sidewise are open and the ones coming and going
are switched off. This happens only every second occasion, so since you are
very likely to have missed the first 'wave' wait for the second one, meaning
let one 'seeming' opportunity go by before you move. You have to be really fast
here and really close to the beams, otherwise the re-appearing beams will touch
your butt. You will have to move almost before the beam actually goes away. If
you miss this 'wave' your chances of making it are slim, but you can try the
next beam anyway to get a feel for it. The same goes for an 'upright attempt'.
Make sure your feet almost touch the beams and once you decided to go GO FOR
IT. Hesitation is your worst enemy here.
Once past the second beam make sure you are low enough to get back into normal
position. Now wait for the right moment to pass the next one. If your body
temperature starts rising by now don't panic. Press the triangle button to get
a break and equip everything you need (the disc) and try to recall the position
of the computer. Likely it is to your right. Once far enough away from the last
beam (careful not to get too close to the ground or your character will jump
off) spread out again and turn yourself into the right direction. Use the disc
once you have reached the computer and breath again. You made it. The body
temperature doesn't seem to matter anymore once you use the computer terminal.
Enter the code which is: 03 05 11 25 51

Now stay in the flat position and rappel up a little bit. Not too far! There
are laser beams coming right at you so you have to go down again. But stay
flat! A cut scene will start giving you the time to relax again. Ok, this time
it is safe to go up again, so get back to the hole in the ceiling. Get the ammo
next to the hole and climb up.

The lasers will be back on. This time at least it is easy to see where the
boxes are. Shoot them and make your way back to the vent. Go back into the
locker room and onto the corridor. You know what to do with the security guards
along the way. Go back to where the window to the lab was and into the corridor
to the right. Enter the door to the right. Use the ladder opposite the door to
climb up climb the pile of boxes to your left until you can't go any higher,
then jump over to the other side. Climb up and grab the ledge. Shimmy over to
the other side and jump off. Up the ladder and you are almost home-free...but
oh no! You are trapped. Well never mind. Get into this really handy vent and
get the goody from the right passage, then climb outside. End the guards shift
and go inside the building. Do with the guard inside what ever you like and
leave through the door to your right. You can leave the guard unharmed, but
watch your back while passing the windows on the outside. On the balcony jump
up to grab the pipe above you now move on to your right. Damn end of pipe! Let
yourself drop down - take care not to drop in one of those 'electrifying
mechanisms' and proceed carefully. Count the times each of these elements
transmits a shock, then wait until the next 'wave'. Count and then move.
Once at the other side get up and get to the top of the stairs. There is a
guard on this platform so take care of him and then use your super-punching
powers to knock the loose part of the railing out of its position. Get out onto
the ledge on the other side and shimmy over to the right. Get up onto the roof
again to find your equipment. Cut scene.

Case 03 Loser in the sky

Billy Bishop & Sheila Crawford:
===============================
I knew this wasn't going to be a pleasure-cruise. Both characters will start as
'passengers' in suits (sorry, no sexy dress for Sheila). Simply pick up the
goody and leave the room. It is essential for this mission not to raise any
suspicion, so be careful when you pass people or do ...well, spy-stuff. Go to
the end of the corridor and exit through the door. Go through the lobby and use
the opportunity to get some pictures in case you need to change your identity.
There is a goody in the men's room to the right behind the counter, but Sheila
might raise an eyebrow or two walking in there. (On the other hand I once
walked into a ladies' room with her and had a screaming reaction too. Maybe
it's Sheila...). Leave through the double doors at the other end. You can smash
the vases for goodies, but watch out for spectators. Turn left down the stairs
and follow the signs to the casino.
Go to the room on the right in order to start your actual assignment. Watch the
cut scene.

Depending on who you play as the story parts here:

Billy Bishop:
=============
Get out of the room and go into the nightclub at the opposite side of the
casino. Make sure nobody is watching you and take a picture of the barkeeper
who will be busy behind the counter.

Now it's time to return to your cabin and get the cocktail and the message for
the doctor (casino, corridor, up the stairs, door to the right, lobby,
corridor, door to the right). You will find both next to the bed. (You might
have to jump to be able to pick it up.) Now go back to the casino (see above).
The doctor will be to the right near the door at the opposite end of the room.
But first walk past him into the room ahead and use the locker to the right to
change into a barkeeper. Then approach the doctor and deliver your 'package'.
Now go back to the nightclub. You will see a door to the right behind the
counter. You have to go in there, but make sure the barkeeper is at the other
end of the counter and not watching you. Once in the room you will see Sheila
at work, take a picture of the doctor, then get close to the window to listen
to his mumbling. (Press L1). Take all the goodies in the room and then punch
the picture to reveal one more. Time to get a degree, so get into the bin in
the room and disguise yourself as the doctor.
Leave the room the way you came and make your way to Kelly Wong. Go back to the
stairs and go up. This time use the door to the left (not the one you used so
far). Go past the lobby and head on. You will meet Nicklaus along the way -
don't punch him, I did that once, he didn't like it. Use the opportunity for a
picture instead, (maybe on your way back) this could be one of the missions in
which you unlock something. - Go into the room to the right and watch the cut
scene.

Time to wake up the doctor. Go back to the casino - don't forget to disguise
yourself, and go back into the room next to the counter. (Corridor, lobby,
stairs, corridor, casino, nightclub.) How handy is this. A burning fire will be
rolled into the room where the doctor is sleeping. Punch the picture again to
reveal the crack in the wall. Now get your gun out. Isn't it a little bit
suspicious that only one dress is red? Yes, it is the one you will have to
shoot to cause it to drop into the fire. I used the 3D camera to get a better
aim, but maybe it is possible to do it without it. Once the sprinklers are on
and the doctor is on his way, guess where you have to go back to? Casino,
corridor, stairs, door left, lobby.. stop! Ladies' room.
You've heard me. Get in there and climb the stairs as soon as you have removed
your disguise. Get into the vent and go left, right and right again at the far
end. Once above the right grate a cut scene will start. Get out of the vent
again and you will be told to meet up with Samuel in your cabin. (corridor,
lobby, cross the room with the stairs and use the opposite door, lobby,
corridor, door to the right). And it is back to the barkeeper's room. (I don't
like this mission.) So it is corridor, lobby, stairs down, corridor, casino,
nightclub. See the vent? Get crawling.


Sheila Crawford:
================
Leave the room and go back to your cabin (casino, corridor, up the stairs, door
to the right, lobby, corridor, door to the right). The good-night ring is in
the bathroom area. Now you will have to head back to the casino. (see above).
This time turn left and enter the bar/ night club.
Make sure nobody is watching you, then take a picture of one of the dancers. Go
back to the casino and go through the door in the middle. The big one to your
left when you leave the bar. Get into the locker to the right and get changed
into a dancer (boys, here comes pleasure - you might want to try her
‘occasional move'..). Now approach the window to the left. Yep, the real dirty
work is always left to the ladies. You better aim well here. If you have to
knock him over the head with something else the mission will be over. Use the
3D camera to get a better aim. There is ammunition for the ring in the room
just in case... .

Once he is down leave the dressing room and get changed. A dancer will raise
suspicion outside the casino. Now go back to the stairs and go up. This time
don't use the door to the right, but the one to the left. You will find the
ladies' room to the right near the lobby. Get rid of any costume and climb up
the ladder to get into the vent. Go left, right and right again at the far end.
You will be above the room in question now. Watch the cut scene and then go
back to the restroom. Leave the restroom after you have changed into someone
less.. well, spy-like, and turn right exit the lobby and you will meet Nicklaus
in the corridor. Take a picture - you might unlock something when you get them
all. Now turn left into the reception room. Go into the left corner next to the
door and you should be able to get the picture needed for your disguise as
Kelly Wong. Now get closer and listen to Samuel's flirting. Time to take a
leak, so go to the restroom and change into Kelly Wong. Back to Nicklaus and
approach the window to the right. Once in the room a cut scene will start.

You've heard the man, get back to your cabin (corridor, lobby, opposite door,
lobby, corridor, door to your right. Talk to Samuel.
Couldn't he have told you this earlier? What are you being paid for, spying or
running around? Well, it is corridor, lobby, down the stairs, corridor, casino,
nightclub to the left. You will find the barkeeper's room behind the counter.
Mind the barkeeper, he might not like you sneaking around. Once in the room get
out of whatever disguise you are wearing and get into the vent.

The storyline re-unites:

On the other side approach the stairs and you will be contacted by Samuel.
Seems it's only you and Nicklaus. Ok, up the stairs and eliminate the guard.
Then get smashing (crates). The last door to the right has one of these
'useful' locks. Break it and enter, but don't rush inside. There is a laser
beam checking the area. Get your timing right and get in it's 'dead zone'
(underneath). If you are low on ammo for some miraculous reason, there is some
in the vent nearby, but I can't see why you should need it.
Just in case you feel the urge to destroy it: the box for the laser is
underneath the ceiling (to your right when you have your back against the wall
in the dead zone of the beam.) Turn left (from the door you came in) and
destroy the lock to get to the next corridor. This next part is a little bit
more challenging: the corridors are crawling with laser beams of the moving
kind. To take out the laser that is further away simply shoot the box you can
see in a distance to the right. Use the 3D camera. Now to the closer one. It is
underneath the ceiling at the corner of the corridor to the left, but at the
wall you cannot see. It is only possible to see a corner of the box from the
door at the right wall, but you have to get real close to the laser beam. It
might be easier to run past and shoot the box from the other side. Remember you
do have cigarette torches in case you need some light. Whatever you do, turn
into the corridor to the left and then watch out for the next couple of lasers.

This time the box is in fact around the corner, so you won't be able to shoot
it from a distance. At least in my experience. But I have found a dead zone to
the left near the wall. Stop almost exactly on the height of the middle of the
corridor to your right and stay with your back to the left wall. Now turn
slightly right and you should see the box of the laser beam underneath the
ceiling of the right wall. You will also be able to see the next box you will
need to take out in the distance. Done with the lasers go into the corridor you
have just cleared and meet Nicklaus. How on earth did he get here?

Case 04 A little bone

Don't worry too much about the shooting, simply use your 3D camera for aiming
and you will be fine. Take a picture of Nicklaus - I still can't remember which
missions are the relevant ones. Anyway, smash the crates in the room for some
ammo and then proceed through the door. Ok, you've seen it in the cut scene.
Switch them off. Remember you can zoom in with the camera, making your job a
hell of a lot easier. Let's take the most obvious one first. It is straight
ahead. For the second one approach the construction where the beams were
before, stop in front of it and turn slightly to the right. You should see the
box underneath the other catwalk near its end. Ok one more to go - this one
really drove me nuts. Turn left and look down onto the four black tanks. There
are two to the right and two to the left. Zoom in on the right end of the
higher one to the right. Never mind if you don't find, it the laser beams will
disappear for a while and you can cross over easily.

In the next room more laser beams. Two of the boxes are in clear sight to your
right, just look along the supporting. For the third box approach the
construction with the beams again and then turn around. Now turn slightly to
your right again and look up. You should find the box somewhere at a crossing
of some of the supporting. Before you head on, check out the upper level ahead
with your 3D camera. See the guards? Take a picture to get some disguise data.
Now proceed and stop just after the construction in the middle. Turn slightly
to the left and look up to find the last box on top of the supporting. Now you
can head on to the ladder. Get into the barrel to disguise yourself, then go
up. Your disguise won't be complete, but as long as you don't do anything
stupid it will get you near the door from where you will be able to get a
picture of a full disguise. But you better get going then, because they will be
suspicious by now.

Once inside, don't run into Kelly Wong who will be coming from the left.
Instead head right. You probably will get a cut scene in between. Ignore the
door where Kelly Wong went in and head to the small door behind you.
The first box will be to your left. The next one is high up to the right almost
on height with the construction for the beams. Now head down the catwalk and
turn around to find the last box high up in the middle. Done with it destroy
the lock of the door to the right and go in there. Have a smoke in case it is
too dark for you and then destroy the boxes to the right. This will reveal a
door. Open it and get the goodies in there. Some equipment, a medi pack and a
weapon. Back outside go back to the area you saw the cut scene. Behind the
barrels you will find some ammunition but be careful there are guards out
there. Go through the door Kelly Wong.

Stop at the corner to the right and look up to the corner slightly to your
left. Underneath the ceiling you will find the next box. You can also simply
run for the 'dead zone' underneath and simply turn around and shoot it. Head
further down the corridor. You can basically ignore the laser at the far end,
it only leads to some ammunition, but in case you want it, the box is on the
wall to the left behind the corner. For the corridor to the right almost walk
past it, turn around and check underneath the ceiling on the right wall. You'll
might have to zoom in on the box to be able to hit it. Careful, there are two
guards in this area. Take them out to avoid any trouble.

Ok, you will now enter a lobby, which will be guarded by bodyguards. You can do
it the rough way and shoot everything that moves or you could simply sneak your
way to the right where you will find a door at its end through which you will
have to go. Whatever you do, just get there. Now this place is full of lasers
again, so get your gun out. The first two boxes are staring you in the face, if
you can't find them I wonder how you made it that far. The next one is not to
hard either: Jump into the blue lit area and stand between the pillars close to
the moving beam. When you turn left and look up you should be able to see the
box. Head on. You will have to jump the next beam, but it's not hard, just stay
in the middle and jump when it is low. The box is on the other side together
with the one for the next beam. So it's one on each side underneath the ceiling
on each side. Get into the vent once you are on the other side.

Here is why you came here: This is the place you will get your disguise to be
able to join the party. If you are playing as Sheila, you can take the picture
of a female guest as well, but for Billy there will only be one person he can
disguise as, so you will have to turn left once you are in the vent, get out
take the next vent, follow it, get out and take the middle one. Take the
picture where you immediately get the small-talk without having to eavesdrop or
wait for it. For Sheila, take any picture of a guest you come across, but no
guards!
Now go back to the laser beams. Yep, all back online. Someone was really fast
in repairing these bastards. Well, you know where the boxes are.

Once outside, you can either go wild and shoot everyone use the sneaky
solution, either way get to the left end of the corridor and get changed using
the door to the right. Now approach the window in the middle of the lobby and
you will be let inside.

Watch the cut scene. Time to leave. Outside the lobby there will be an alarm
for some reason, so your disguise probably won't be of any use once you are
seen by a guard. Get rid of the guards and follow the way back that you came in
before. You know where to find the boxes by now.

Case 05 Old King Cole

Approach the window to trigger off a cut scene. Time to give this guy a good
beating. Outside use the path between the trees to get a medi pack and head on.
If you are playing as Sheila you might want to avoid the guards for now, since
she can't take as many hits as Billy. Approach the guard, but melt into the
wall to the right when he is looking into your direction (these idiots - take
your spy kit but leave you with your camouflage...). When he turns away move
forward. Repeat if necessary. This way you will make it up the ladder without
being seen. But watch out, there is a laser beam up there. Get into its dead
zone but don't make too much noise because of the guard ahead. Take him out and
then proceed to the left. Again, you will have to avoid laser beams. Proceed to
the end of the platforms and then go down the ladder.

Jump onto the crate-like something in front of the water reservoir to your
right. Then jump up to grab the ledge. Shimmy all the way to the left. Then get
your timing right when climbing up in order to avoid the laser beam. It won't
get you if you stay close to the ledge. Get into the dead zone underneath and
then time your jump to the next platform. Jump onto the middle platform, then
jump over to the water reservoir to your left to grab the ledge. Again shimmy
to the left all the way around. Drop down and smash the crates for a medi pack.
Now drop down as close to the wall as you possibly can in order to avoid the
laser beam. Run to the door ahead.
First grab the medi pack from the shelf and then get smashing. You should find
your equipment along the way - how lucky is that! Use the shaver to get the
machine working. Go outside.

There are two guards down in the yard. Go down the ladder. You don't have to
bother taking them out, but you will have to interrupt your work on the lock of
the door to your right (when you face the ladder) if you don't. Get in and
crawl into the hole. On the other side leave the yard.

There is more than one way to get through the swamp. Use the tree-trunk to get
to the little island to your left. It is stable and won't sink. Make your way
further left until you reach the next stable island ahead. Jump onto the next
tree-trunk ahead and then jump onto the platform. Watch out for the laser beam.

Now jump down and make your way to the right. Turn right again and jump onto
the island with the construction. Get the package. It contains a very useful
equipment. Now make your way over to the other side. Jump up to get to the next
area.

Ignore the advice about watching the soldiers. Instead shoot them so that they
can't get in your way while you are avoiding mines. Now equip your new found
treasure and everything will be child's play. Just stay away from the parts on
the ground that are lighting up and you will be fine. There is room for error
though, and sometimes your only possibility to proceed is by stepping onto the
outer ring of the flashing light. By the way, you will have to get close to the
mines in order to be able to see them. You can use any way you like to cross
this mine field. There are also some goodies scattered across the field, so you
might want to get some of these (there is another armor to the right for
example). Here is one way that will get you to the other side: Step out to the
right from where you have been hiding and walk straight ahead to the boxes.
Climb on top and jump into the fern slightly to the left. Get onto these boxes
as well and jump into the gap between the mines you should see ahead. Now
simply walk out of there. But watch the ground! Exit through the doors.

Kill the guard ahead, then run down to the first gate. See the ladder to the
left? The guard up there needs a good shave, so give him one. Then get to the
right and climb up. Get your 3D camera out and zoom in on the building in the
distance. You will get a cut scene, though it can take a while. Get back down
and follow the path to the right.

There are more then one way to get up, but let's treat ourselves to a really
useful goody first, shall we? Walk up the way to your right. There will come a
point where you can either simply walk on or climb up. Use the walk-on route
first. It will lead to some mines. Simply stay outside the red signs and follow
it to the dead end. Dead end? Yes. Now equip your rappelling kit, then let
yourself down (not using the kit!) and shimmy to the right. Once in the middle
of the ledge, rappel down and spread out. Nice gun,...I am wondering who left
it floating around out here. Well, get back up, don't worry if your character
makes a jump into the mines, it won't set them off. Now jump back onto the safe
side of the signs and walk back to the place where you could have climbed up.
By the way, my advice for the gun you've just found: leave it for the boss
fights. Climb up walk over to the ledge. Remember these nasty electrifying
mechanisms? You know how to cross them by now, so get to the other side without
your butt catching fire. There would have been a third way up here involving
laser beams and the ladder you will now see to your left, but I found this way
to be more convenient. Follow the path. Cross the bridge and shave the guard.
Then walk up the path a bit, but stop near the green to the left. Nasty laser
beam ahead. The box is between the plants a little bit further ahead. To take
out the next laser beam walk up to the second big rock on the road, stand next
to it and look up to the left. You will see a corner of the box. Shoot it, but
don't get seen by the guard ahead. Once you've cleared the way, you should take
a picture of the guard before you end his shift. Smash the crates and follow
the path.

Cross the bridge. You will get a cut scene. Yeah, whatever. Climb onto the
boxes to the right and jump over to the left for a goody. There is some
ammunition to the right as well, but you most likely don't have a gun for it
yet. Now go through the gates and turn right into the narrow path.

Head straight on across the platform and get your rappelling kit out. Get all
the way down and then turn left into the path. Go down the ladder and the next
one, then take a picture of the nice soldier on the ground in case you haven't
got any disguise data yet. Get up the ladder and use the barrels to get
changed. Clothes should do, but don't make too much noise or you will raise
suspicion. Take a picture of Dietrich, including his face, then walk to the
other window to get his voice data. Now leave and climb up the ladders to get
back to the narrow path.

Take your time to put the guard to sleep - non-lethal, he sometimes drops a
really good gun - then climb up as you have been told to. Jump over to the
left, but don't run into the laser beam when you approach the ladder to climb
up. Up on the platform jump over to the right and shimmy to the left. Climb up
until you reach the upper platform. Take out the guard and get into the barrel
to change into Dietrich Troy. Now cross the catwalk to get back to the narrow
path. Approach the window near the door to the left and go inside. Walk down
the path to meet with Lysander.

Case 06 Kill Cock Robin?</pre><pre id="faqspan-2">

Shoot the box and go left. Take a picture of the guy talking in the corridor
and go back to where you started from (the laser will be back online). Get into
the locker and disguise yourself. Now head back to the guards and eavesdrop.
Walk past them to the right, turn left and eliminate the guard. By the way, if
you do it non-lethal you can get security tags from him over and over again.
Now destroy the lock on the door straight ahead. Inside turn right and walk
past the guard. Take a picture of the scientist, but make sure you are not
being watched by the guard. Now go back to where you took out the guard. You
will see Lysander in a distance, but you don't have any business with him at
the moment. Go into the door to the right. You will be in a restroom now. Take
out the guard and change into the scientist. Then get back onto the corridor.
Turn right and walk past the talking guards again, this time go straight ahead.

Go through the door and turn left. Walk past the guard and approach the window.
Go through the door to the right, then the one to the left and you will be in a
lab. Go up the stairs and through the door to the left. Time to destroy Lahder.
Go to the terminal ahead to pick up the jammers. There are more jammers in the
locker to the left. Keep them for later. Now go down the ramp to the other
terminal. Use it to open some trap door above you and then use your 3D camera
to throw your little baby (the jammer!) through. Now run up to the first
terminal again and use your shaver with it to make it work.

IMPORTANT: if you screw up and are out of jammers, simply leave the room and
reenter and the package will be next to the terminal again.

Now leave, you can use a security tag along the way to speed things up since
the doors won't open until things are back to normal.
Get back to where you approached the window. The guard probably will see
through your disguise, so you might want to shave him. Turn right and prepare
to kill the guards in the corridor. Then it's right again and left into the
next possible door. Watch out for the laser beam and go up the stairs. Once the
doors open again go through the small one to the right. More laser beams. Get
into the area to the right where you will find some crates. Look between the
pipes on the left wall and you will find the box for the beam. The next box is
at the far end of the corridor to the left, the other one is hidden away. It is
on the left side of the corridor which leads down to your exit behind some
pipes on the ground. It might be difficult to see it unless you knee down.

Once through the door enter the room to the left for a weapon and some
ammunition for it. Now smash the crates on the catwalk before going down the
ladder. You'll here a strange banging noise. The guards trying to come in? A
rhino ready to kill you? Well, simply open the containers on the ground one by
one to find the answer. Nicklaus! Take a picture of him and make sure you have
gotten all the goodies from the other containers. If you want to get the
ammunition from the top of the other containers (only worthwhile if you have
found a machine gun by now otherwise you will be wasting more ammo than you
will gain) climb the pile of crates in the middle and shoot the breakable
crates on the other side. Then jump over and make yourself happy.
Now head down the stairs to which Nicklaus opened the door.

If you are playing as Sheila and you did get the armor in the mine field, you
might want to equip it now. Take out the guard and head down the corridor.
Follow the path ahead to the last prison cell on your left To find the doctor.

Your task now is to kill all the guards. Simply shoot at everything that moves
while running up and down the corridor. That should do. Give your auto aim
ability time to reset on a new target in between your bursts of three to four
shots. Once you've done enough damage as cut scene will start.

A countdown will start. You'll have twenty minutes to get out of there. Go back
to the cell you've found the doctor in. She's gone...of course. Crawl into the
vent and turn left. Outside take out the guard to the right and head through
the door. Smash the crates along the way if you feel like it. Use a security
tag in the corner and then jump over the laser beams to exit the room through
the right door. Watch the cut scene with a Lysander.

Well, that much for 'stay away from Lysander.' This is a boss fight in five
stages. Here my advice. Simply ignore Lysander and focus on the task at hand.
It is not possible to kill him now, so don't waste ammunition and time. Instead
get down the ladder and climb the boxes near the left wall (when you are facing
the ladder.) If you keep moving Lysander won't be able to hit you with his
grenades and you can take a couple of shots, as specially if you are playing as
Billy. It is almost impossible to get him killed. If you should feel that you
are low on health simply equip a small medi pack.
Now to what you are supposed to do. Climb further up the crates and jump to the
next pile. Now jump onto the pile to the left, then the one ahead of you until
you reach the other side. Climb down the ladder on the other side using the
crates as cover along the way. Cross the bridge and run through the door ahead.

Stage one finished. Equip your mine detector equipment and head across the mine
field. There is almost a clear path apart from the last bit where you will have
to do a jump to the left and then one straight ahead. Stage two finished.

Use the shaver twice on the terminal then climb onto the boxes and jump over to
this battery like thing. Climb up. Now you will find two terminals. Use the
shaver on them as well. It's something like left, right, right, right, (left,
right), but I am not sure about the last two. The effect you want to achieve is
that the third 'battery' moves to the left and the other two either line up or
start moving. (They only moved once when I played the game, another time they
just moved to one side and stayed where they were...) Use them to cross over to
the other side. If you have to wait for your shaver to recharge keep moving,
Lysander will be throwing grenades as well as shooting at you. That's stage
three finished. Follow Lysander, but don't forget to pick up the ammunition
along the way, you will need it.

Ok now it is time to hurt this bastard. My advice for you is still to work from
your weakest to your strongest gun. Keep moving and simply blast away. If you
manage to shoot the flammable tanks next to him this will take him down for a
couple of seconds. Once you have done enough damage the scene will change.
Fourth stage finished.

Now he will attack you in person as well as shooting at you. If he gets close
forget any guns and go into hand to hand combat this will keep him stunned.
Once he is standing on the platform above you, blast away. Remember, you don't
need to use your machine guns for this boss fight. Save them for later,
especially when you are playing as Sheila and might need to get a job done
quickly. Once you've hurt Lysander enough you will be robbed of the opportunity
to finish him off yourself.

Case 07 Ring o' Roses

For this case there are again two ways to enter.

If you use the sewer:

Smash the crate and then go through the wall. Melt into the wall and cross over
to the other side, but careful there are guards on the other side. Use the
biosensor to enable yourself to see them. Now shave them both. Now go over to
the pit to the left and let yourself down onto a ledge. Take the ammo and get
up again. Now equip your spider grips, melt into the wall to the left and jump
up while still holding the L1 button. This should glue you to the ceiling. Move
to the right until you reach the other side. Now shoot the boxes on the
opposite side of the water in front of you. Melt into the left wall next to the
water and move over to the other side. But beware of the electrifying
mechanisms. On the other side melt into the wall again to cross the next water.

Kill the guard and climb the ladder if you want some goodies and ammunition.
Then get down again and shoot the guard on the other side. Use your spider
grips, melt into the wall and cross over. Get up the ladder and into the vent.
Take the first possibility left and get out at the other end. You will see a
guard through a trapdoor. Jump down and get rid off him. Now take out the
second guard before leaving through the door with the green light.

Stay where you are and shoot the box for the laser beams which is staring you
in the face from the ceiling to the right. Then walk over to the open elevator
and jump from its entrance into the middle in order to get hold of the ledge.
Climb up and use the ladder. Crawl through the vent and go to the edge of the
platform. There is a guard down there - get rid off him. Now jump down and get
the ammunition from the door to the left of the platform before breaking the
lock to the next door.

If you use the rooftop:

Take out the guard immediately ahead of you. Then use the door. Take out the
guard and turn left using the catwalk. Follow it until you reach a door to the
left which is also guarded. Enter and turn right following the next catwalk to
its end. Eliminate the guards along the way and don't forget to smash the
crates you find. Now turn right and keep going through doors until you can't go
any further. Use the catwalk to the right and cross over to its opposite end.
Turn left and you will find a door with a green light.
There are plenty of better ways to get there, I am sure. Using your spider
grips and jumping across the platforms (careful they will break away underneath
you) which are holding the goodies. But this route appeared to be the clearest
and easiest, (though probably not the shortest.)
Climb down the ladder - jump the last bit and take the guard down there by
surprise. Leave and turn left. There is a guard that wants to be send to sleep.

Enter the door and take care of the guard who's holding a nap, but careful,
there is another guard nearby in the dark. Again, use the biosensor to enable
you to see them more easily. There is a third guard waiting for you to take him
out. Destroy the lock and exit.

Climb the pile of crates to the left. Jump onto the next pile and then jump to
your right. Keep jumping forward until you reach the ladder. Climb up. Go to
the wall to the right and jump up to get hold of the ledge. When you can't go
any further drop down and follow the path to the next ledge on the same wall.
If you have got a machine gun you can reach the ammunition using this ledge. if
not jump up to get to the next level and jump across to the next vent. This can
be done from the lower level as well. Jump up onto the platform. The box for
the laser beams is on the other side of the platform and therefore cannot be
shot from your current position. However it isn't too hard to cross these.
Simply wait until they are either both up and then roll, or both down and then
jump. You will find the box on the outside wall of the platform. Use your
rappelling kit to get down and take out the guard. Leave through the only door
you can and climb down the ladder. Prepare for some action.

Ok, for this part of the game staying mobile is everything. If you do get
knocked out you will stay down for a while taking damage in the meantime. If
you are playing as Sheila and you do have it in your possession equip the armor
until your health is low and you will have to change to a medi pack. Throw
grenades, blaze away with your guns...just cause enough damage. If you are
really fast, break the boxes for some medi packs and stuff. Apart from that
avoid the blue laser beams as much as you can they are your main enemies along
with the missiles. Again, you don't get to do the cool finishing off part.

Check the room for some ammo and smash the crates before you leave through the
corridor. Follow the corridor and enter this suspiciously inviting looking
door.
Great, just what we needed. Kill the guards and get back to the hall where you
left Samuel. Turn left into the opening, follow the path and get into the vent.
Simply follow the catwalk to the right jumping across the platforms which will
break away. If you fall, you will take damage, but there is time enough to run
up the stairs, destroy the lock and start over again.

Case 08 The human factor

You don't seriously expect me to write: run left, run right, duck down, run
right again and jump, do you?
It's actually quite simple. You have to reach the engine of the train without
getting killed. From time to time enemies will climb up onto the roof and
attack you, so basically what you have to do is: get rid of them and keep an
eye on the track in order not to get hit by any of those barriers coming at
you. The key is patience. Don't rush it, simply take the soldiers one by one
and than jump over to the next wagon. If you are lucky some of your enemies
will disappear after being hit by a barrier. You should however take the time
to finish them off - no guns needed, save your ammo - otherwise they will be
shooting you in the back and that can be painful. You might also want to pick
up a goody or two.

Once you've reached the engine watch the cut scene and start smashing the
crates in the room. Now all you have to do is work your way along the train
taking out soldiers along the way. Don't forget to smash the crates and try to
safe ammo and health kits as much as you can (we are approaching the final
chapters and I can tell you you will probably need a lot of them). Once you
have reached the end of the train you will meet Dietrich who has captured
Samuel. Watch the cut scene, then approach Samuel to trigger off another one.
(...the force is strong in you, Luke....) is it just me, or....Well, let's wipe
away our tears and move on...

Case 09 The Jacob

Looks familiar? Yep, it's the prologue, but some changes have been added so I
will give you a walkthrough anyway.

Follow your colleagues into the hole. Take a picture of Nicklaus, then smash
anything you can in this room for some goodies. Now follow Nicklaus. As you
probably remember there are boxes to the right on top of a ledge, so climb up
and smash them before you move on to take out the guard. Again my advice is to
save your ammunition from now on, so try to take enemies out using non-lethal
weapons or gadgets instead of your guns. Exit through the door. You will be
faced by a guard who hasn't been there last time you played this mission, so
don't run too far ahead. Take out the three guards in the hall and then take
care of the laser to your left by shooting its box above it. Leave through the
door to the left. Meet up with Nicklaus and approach the familiar yard ahead.
Take a picture of the guard to your left and get into the locker to your right
(almost where you came in) in order to get changed. Now simply walk up to the
door to the next yard. Business as usual, pick up the ammo and then smash the
crates in the right part of the yard. Now approach the guard from behind and
take him out (you need to get back into your normal spy outfit). Now you are
free to smash the rest of the crates without raising any suspicion. Back to the
dumpster and get changed again. All you have to do now is to walk up to the
entrance and get inside.

Didn't Nicklaus meet you here last time? Anyway, go down the stairs and
approach the guard who is walking up and down in the  hallway. Time for a
surprise, so get out of your disguise and give this guy a good beating. Now
take the time to smash the armor in the corridor there should be a medi pack
for your. Then go up the stairs and prepare for the shootout. If you are
playing as Sheila remember to equip the armor, you will take a couple of hits
and your enemies will be throwing grenades as well. Simply blaze away, but
leave your auto-aim time to select the next target otherwise you'll be wasting
ammo. If you find the time smash some of the crates for some goodies.

After the cut scene climb into the hole. Follow the path and jump up at its
end. You will be in a new area. Smash the armor and follow the corridor. In the
room with the ladder smash the crates and then climb up. More crates that need
smashing. Now hug the wall to the right (when you are facing the crates
otherwise it's the left one) and sneak close to the electrocuting mechanisms.
Time your passage well and you should get past them without any trouble. Now
smash the crates on the other end and jump into the opening ahead of you. Use
the vent and head down the stairs in order to exit through the door. Nasty
situation ahead. The box for those lasers is to the right, but positioned
around the corner, so you can't really shoot it from your starting position. A
soldier is guarding the area with the box as well, so you will not only have to
deal with the lasers if you raise an alarm. You will have to time your jumps
very well in order to get across. one possibility is to jump into the gap
between the first two laser beams and wait until the next ones fade. Then make
sure you have your gun ready before you cross over to the guard. There is
another guard on the other side of the gap in the ground. Take care of him
before crossing it. This is best done by equipping your spider grips, hugging
the wall to your left (the left of your character that is) and then jump up.
Now cross over, but beware of the electrifying mechanisms. Once on the other
side look down into the hole. You will see the box for the laser beams to the
right. Shoot it and enter the room with the green light to trigger off a cut
scene. Go through the door to the left and destroy the lock on the door just
ahead of you. Apart from some scientists you will find a lot of equipment here
so pick it up. Now leave again and use the other door to your left. Place
yourself next to the laser beams into the right corner and you should see the
their box to the left. Shoot it and get into the next room. But be careful,
there is a guard in this area as well. Head through the door and immediately
down the stairs otherwise you'll might get spotted by the guard nearby. Use the
vent.

If you use the right path you will find some equipment, but apart from that you
should use the middle path in order to get to the other side. Watch out for the
electrocuting mechanisms. The rule is, if they touch the edge of your screen
you will get hurt, but don't worry about your legs or anything: what you can't
see can't get burned for some reason. On the other side my advice would be to
smash the grate to your character's left and to climb into the vent again for a
weapon and some ammo. Then return to the main room and punch the grates in
order to reveal another vent - it's the second to the right of the one you came
out of in the first place by the way. Again, don't get grilled.

What the...interesting cut scene. But forget about it for now. You are back to
a familiar scene, so you will know what to do by now.

I received an e-mail from Chris which stated the following:
-... on the last level, there is a new gun, not the strongest, but its an
automatic with ammo. When you come out of the vent before taking Troy's image,
to the left where the guard is patroling there is a ladder. When you shoot the
box around the corner from it, and climb up the ladder you can go to the far
ledge and equip the repelling gear then ease a few steps on to a really narrow
protruding ledge that comes from the length of the wall, then drop down. A new
gun and ammo. And the box for the laser by the ladder that you need to climb up
to take the picture can be shot from this location. -

Go back down the stairs and pick up the ammo to the left if you can. Then go
upstairs and use the ladder to the right but watch out for the laser beam on
your way there. Now take out the guard on the bridge and use your 3D-camera to
take a picture of Dietrich. Remember you will need the whole package.
If you are playing for the second time you will be surprised by a new cut
scene.

Get down the ladder and take out the guard in the yard. Now smash the crates
and the next ones as well in order to get into the next area. Turn left and you
will find another guard who is in urgent need of a rest. Provide him with sweet
dreams and use the barrel in the left corner to change into Dietrich. Now
approach the entrance. Watch the cut scene.
If your are playing as Sheila equip your armor for as long as you can, but
remember to change to a medi pack in case you are running low on health. Start
with the small ones and change to the larger ones only if you have to. The same
goes for weapons. My advice is to keep away from the automatic ones for as long
as you can, you will need them later in another boss fight where they will come
in really handy. Start with the revolvers and change to your standard silenced
gun if you have run out of ammo for the other ones.

Ok, here is what is going to happen: Dietrich will be fighting you, but since
he is a real meanie don't count on fairness. After a certain amount of damage
he will produce holograms of himself which will also attack you. There will
also be devices on the ground which will unfold and electrify you if they get
hold of you, so stay away from those. You will be shot at and Dietrich and his
doubles will throw grenades at you as well. Here is what you want to do: There
are two ways to distinguish Dietrich from his fakes. His clothes are slightly
differently coloured AND when you hit him he will have one of those bulbs above
his head. This is the moment you need to pump as many bullets into him as you
possibly can. He will leave again through one of those many doors and you won't
know through which one he will come out of again. (My theory is that you can
attach one of those transmitter on him and probably follow his movement, but
that's just a guess.) If you ask me the best strategy is to keep moving and
only shoot at Dietrich when you think it might be himself. His double will drop
ammunition and goodies now or then, but it took me quite a lot of ammo to take
the real one down, so I wouldn't waste it on anything else. Run around as much
as you can and once your auto-aim has gotten hold of the real one chase him as
far as you can. This fight will probably take some time, I'd say it's the
hardest in the whole game.

Once it is over watch the reinforcement coming to the scene - too late, as
always...
Now let's do something a bit odd - take a picture of Nicklaus. Seems a little
macabre to take a picture of a dead man, but since I've forgotten where to take
them it's better to try it here as well.

Now go down into the opening and watch this ... Michael disappear. Before you
start smashing the armor along the path, look closely at the two half way down
the corridor. Those are no armor but guards. Take them out (a grenade does the
trick for both of them) and then destroy whatever you come across. Turn right
at the end of the corridor and go up the stairs. Get underneath the laser beam
to the right in order to be in its dead angle, then shoot the box in the first
cell to the right (turn around and face the entrance). Now face the direction
of the other laser beam and you should see its box in the cell to the left
right underneath it. Shoot it and proceed. (Sorry, haven’t figured out yet how
to get the ammo from the cells).

NOTE: Good news for all of you who are low on ammo at this stage of the game:
I received an e-mail from Justine who has figured out how to get the ammunition
from the cells:
Simply face the cells and press the R1 button. This should get you the ammo. -
That's at least what I've been told. Haven't checked this information myself.

As the music tells you are approaching the final boss battle. Smash the crates
and get ready. Again, if you are low on health make sure you have the medi
packs ready, otherwise equip the armor. Now run upstairs and face your father/
Scarface.

This fight could be over in under a minute if you do it the right way. First
thing you should do is throw a jammer at him this will disable his equipment,
then immediately switch to your strongest! weapon and blaze away. This is why
you should save your automatic guns for so long. I suppose that those tanks
which came out of the ground are going to shoot similar beams as those in the
fight when you assisted Samuel. I've never seen them in action because the
battle with Scarface usually was over before they fired their first shot.
Scarface will change his position eventually. If he does check behind you and
do exactly the same thing you did before: Jammer and strongest gun. Do this
twice and you should finish him off. If you are playing as Sheila you will see
some nice combat moves now, otherwise Billy will question his father for his
motives.

Climb onto the boxes to your character's right until you reach the pipe which
you can use to across the room. On the other side break the lock and enter the
next room. Climb down and climb the crates to the right (those on the opposite
wall from where you came in). Shoot the tank on top of the opposite pile of
crates in order to blow the wooden crates up, then hug the wall and sneak over
to the other side. Jump down and walk to the right in order to trigger off a
cut scene.

You heard the woman, the fuel tank is your target. It will be marked by a green
field. After your first hit the cover of the tank will be removed, hurry to
shoot it again, otherwise you will be run over by the plane.
If you succeed Nicklaus/ Dietrich will be losing it completely and Bishop will
finally do what he has to.
You finally made it.

V. Personal Review

This is a new section I will add to my walkthroughs since it has been requested
by some of you sending me e-mails:

So here you go, my personal opinion:

Spy Fiction is nice entertainment, nothing more and nothing less.
It is the kind of game you want to play on a rainy afternoon when there is
nothing else to do or you simply want to take your mind of the real world.
The storyline is not exactly unique or imaginative - it is a mix of anything
you will have probably ever seen in a spy movie and the characters are rather
flat (and at times even pathetic).
My verdict: nice (for all who like sneaking around) but cheesy and clichéd.
Graphics and controls are ok -apart from a seriously annoying shooting button-
and even unskilled newbies will be able to enjoy the game without having to
struggle too much.

On a scale form 10 - 0 (10 being the highest grade) Spy Fiction would range
somewhere around a 5, a 6 on a good day.
This is not to say it is a bad game, it is just...simply entertainment.
- That's at least my opinion.
