SOCOM 3: US Navy SEALs
                  Mission Objective Guide v 1.02

This is simply a list of Primary, Secondary, Bonus and Crosstalk objectives in
each mission. Hopefully with the help of other single player SOCOM 3 fans all
objectives will be listed. All missions were completed on Admiral difficulty
and all Crosstalk Objectives have been completed so if that is what your after
read on and you will see how to complete them. NOTE: you can check your
progress on Crosstalk objectives by going to 'PROFILE' then 'EXTRAS' and then
'CROSSTALK' which lists the complete and incomplete Crosstalk objectives.

I did not wish to write a walkthrough because it would take far too long and
there are so many ways to go about doing the missions. Compared to the
previous games SOCOM 3 single player is very easy and missions can be
completed without much trouble if the player is patient and cautious. I have
included a little blurb about each objective, which is what i felt may be
necessary. This guide does not include any major spoilers, objectives give
away a little but that obviously cannot be helped.

I currently have all bonus objectives listed. If you find any errors, e-mail
me. Include the Area of Operation, Mission name, Objective Name and where to
obtain or complete the objective. Include more info as needed.
You will be credited in the next update if your input is included.

The objectives shown in this Guide were discovered by me in playing the
missions and/or by reader's e-mails for which credit will be given. At no
point did I use any type of strategy guide.

MISSION OBJECTIVE GUIDE

AREA OF OPERATION: NORTH AFRICA

Mission 1: DEEP STRIKE

    (B) Defeat Enemy Vehicles
         *destroy the enemy technicals on your way to meet up with the
         *resistance (use vehicle turrets, tell Fireteam to Fire at Will) the
         *first vehicle can be found by heading straight for waypoint Charlie
         *once that one is destroyed head North and East about 15 degree and
         *you should run into the second technical, destroy it
  (P) Rendezvous with Resistance
      *approach resistance, movie ensues
  (P) Ambush the Convoy
      *use RPG/AT4 or the turret on the vehicle from the start of the level
    (B) Stop Runaway Vehicle
         *remain at convoy ambush point until another vehice shows up, kill
   (S) Silence well radio
       *sneak into the well area using the rear entrance and shoot or rifle
       *butt the radio before the NAPF use it to call for backup
  (P) Secure Fortified Well
      *elimate all threats in the area
  (P) Destroy NAPF Radio Transmitter ***(this is also a (C) objective)***
      *plant satchel at the base of the radio tower and clear area
      (NOTE: possible to do without engaging terrorists! try it!)
  (P) Rendevous with the Resistance Leader
      *approach, movie ensues...mission complete

Mission 2: ESCALATION

   (S) Rescue Downed Pilot
       *go to crash site and escort him to the next waypoint and its done
  (P) Destroy Bridge
      *take out the enemies on the turrets first and also take out the tank
      *then plant a satchel on the bridge and clear the area
  (P) Secure Main Gate
      *kill the enemies at the front gate
     (C) Rescue Allied Prisoners
         *1*The first two are hard to get, pick up an assault weapon if you
         *don't already have one and charge around the corner and shoot
         *the terrorists who hopefully have not shot the hostages, now where
         *they are you ask...well, open your tactical map [select] and follow
         *the green line into the NAPF base/castle/whatever and it turns left
         *right, right, left, right, right, left, two 45 degree lefts and now
         *at that point you will be facing North in an open area. Kill the
         *NAPF forces and then head to the North of this area, hostages are
         *in the North West corner.
         *2*The second set is just past that point but it is along the green
         *line that the tac map shows so you cant miss them.
     (B) Obtain Delivery Ledger 1
         *in the small office room (one NAPF soldier in it) on the 2nd floor
         *of the depot building (thank you Sardonicfox, Adam Chapman)
     (C) Obtain Delivery Ledger 2
         *in the supply depot area (you will know because its where the
         *NAPF guys have the two turrets...a movie shows this to you) face
         *North and head into the garage building with the broken down truck
         *the delivery ledger is on the desk beside the truck
     (C) Obtain Troop Manifest
         *once in the supply depot area face West and you will see two
         *entrances to the depot building, go in the left one, in the left
         *of that room are some covered crates and sitting atop one of them
         *is the Troop Manifest
  (P) Demolish Supply Depot
      *plant a satchel by the boxes in the middle of the depot building

Mission 3: RIPOSTE'S PRIMER

   (S) Check Missile Warheads
       *located beside the first missile luancher you encounter, there is also
       *an NAPF radio in this area
  (P) Disable Launcher Site 1
      *plant C4 on it and make sure to tell Bravo to stay away, they don't
      *always get away fast enough on their own
   (S) Destroy ZSU
       *shoot your AT-4 at the AA tank to destroy it, there is an NAPF radio
       *in this area as well
  (P) Disable Launcher Site 2
      *plant a C4 on it and run away, same as before, also there are two NAPF
      *radios in this area
  (P) Disable Launcher Site 3
      *plant a C4 on it and run away, same as before, also there are two NAPF
      *radios in this area
  (P) Disable Launcher Site 4
      **plant a C4 on it and run away, same as before, also there is one NAPF
      *radio in this area
    (B) Prevent Furthur Launches ***(this is also the (C) objective)***
        *do not allow any NAPF forces to stand by a missile launch site or
        *it will fire and you will fail the Crosstalk objective

Mission 5: DAY OF RECKONING

       *just follow the green line on your tac map, as soon as you cuff her
       *a hoard of NAPF forces rush you, just be ready
   (S) Escort Marcy to Safety
       *a few NAPF forces on the way, take em out as you go
  (P) Rescue Civilian
      *follow the green line on your tac map and then your done with Marcy
    (B) Obtain Intel ***(this is also the (C) objective)***
        *there is a map and some documents on a table in the room Sarwat is
        *located in (that's two pieces of intel, not one)
  (P) Prevent Sarwat's escape
      *kill all the NAPF soldiers you find before you enter the room Sarwat is
      *located in, otherwise you will have to chase him, i suppose if you let
      *him run to far he'll escape but it never happened to me, he gives up
      *easiest if all 4 SEALs are present and if the NAPF are all dead,
      *flashbangs help as well

Mission 6: WAKE OF THE FALLEN

  (P) Search Highway for Mahmood
      *clear the road of hostile enemies
    (B) Capture NAPF Troops ***(this is also a (C) objective)***
        *all NAPF soldiers that have black turbans will surrender if you kill
        *the red turbaned NAPF around them, restrain them DO NOT shoot an enemy
        *that has surrendered or you will fail this
   (S) Search the North Village
       *take the map in the house there
   (S) Search the South Village
       *take the map in the house there
  (P) Search Village
      *provided you did search the North and South one you have got this
  (P) Capture General Mahmood
      *in the final village...hint he's underground
    (C) Complete the Mission
        *simple huh

AREA OF OPERATION: SOUTH ASIA

Mission 7: NAUTICAL SALVAGE

  (P) Secure Outpost
      *kill the Raiders in the outpost
    (B) Obtain Intel
        *there is a map inside the outpost, in the building
  (P) Secure Breackneck and Cargo
      *reach the Breakneck, kill everything in it, the cargo is missing
    (B) Overhear Arms Shipment ***(this is also a (C) objective)***
        *after entering the compound after clearing the breackneck, sneak
        *down the left side (dont blow up any breach points with C4) and
        *if the Raiders aren't alerted then a movie will occur just before you
        *enter the warehouse
  (P) Recon Warehouse ***(this is also a (C) objective)***
      *a movie will occur as you pass through the warehouse
    (B) Obtain Shipping Manifest
        *located in the room that the you are in when the movie occurs
  (P) Meet Magpie and Extract
      *obvious, fail this...quit SOCOM forever
    (C) Complete Mission

Mission 8: FRIEND OR FOE

   (S) Uncover the Mole
       *zoom in with scope or binocs on each villager, one will be identified
       *as the mole
  (P) Gather Intel 1st Village
      *bring MAGPIE over to the villager, not the mole
   (S) Uncover the Mole
       *same as before
  (P) Gather Intel 2nd Village
      *same as before
   (S) Cut Cummunications
       *destroy the radio in the ruins area before the Raiders use it, it is
       *located underground on the left or southern side
    (B) Destroy Arms Shipment
        *take out the Raiders on the boats that pass through the river at
        *waypoint PAPA
  (P) Liberate MAGPIE's Village ***(this is also a (C) objective)***
      *kill all the Raider's in the village
    (C) No Non-Combatants Killed
        *do not kill any villagers throughout the mission up to this point
  (P) Keep MAGPIE Alive
      *keep him alive or you fail obviously
    (B) Obtain Intel ***(this is also a (C) objective)***
       *in the final area where you blow up the Raider cache, there is intel
       *in the building on the left of this area
   (S) Demo Cache ***(this is also a (C) objective)***
       *place a satchel where it tells you too (after you get the intel)
  (P) Disrupt Raider Operations
      *will be complete after you demo the cache
  (P) Move to extract
      (i think this is what constitutes the final (P) objective)

Mission 9: HEART OF THE FIST

  (P) Secure the Beach
      *kill all the Raiders you encounter on the beach
    (B) Capture Ibrahim Abbas ***(this is also a (C) objective)***
        *once you secure the beach head to waypoint ECHO, and stay to the
        *right along that path and you will come accross a little hollowed out
        *area, there are two Raiders and Ibrahim Abbas inside
NOTE: at this point I go back down to the beach and go up the other path at
     waypoint WHISKEY close to where the mission begins, this area is a big O
     in general, it is very possible to complete the mission without doing
     what I just said however
  (P) Secure First Mate ***(this is also a (C) objective)***
       *in a hut at waypoint ROMEO
    (B) Destroy Speedboat ***(this is also a (C) objective)***
        *destroy the speedboat at waypoint ROMEO, its dumb because you have to
        *shoot it, I was not able to plant any C4 on it, oh well
   (S) Locate First Crate
       *in the room you enter if you enter the underground at ROMEO
  (P) Secure Breakneck Captain ***(this is also a (C) objective)***
      *located East of the room that I found the First Crate in
   (S) Locate Second Crate
       *above the First Crate
  (P) Capture Hari Raman ***(this is also a (C) objective)***
      *kill Raiders around his position and flashbang him
    (B) Find Terrorist Contact List ***(this is also a (C) objective)***
        *in the room Hari Raman is located in
   (S) Locate Third Crate
       *as with the others its on your tac map, find it
  (P) Locate the Breakneck Cargo ***(this is also a (C) objective)***
      *got 3? good, your done

   (S) Bug the Computer
       *its in the dining room, press X once and don't move until its done
   (S) Bug the Phone
       *its in the kitchen
  (P) Bug the House ***(this is also a (C) objective)***
      *done and done
  (P) Move to Extraction
      *don't want to hang around here do you, take that van you saw earlier
      *if you want to, driving is so sweet in this game, take advantage
  (P) Maintain Stealth Profile
      *let no one see you, if they do kill them before they yell or shoot
    (B) Keep NSO Unsuspicious
        *don't let the NSO see or hear you, you can shoot as many as you want
        *as long as they are single shots to the head
NOTE: this bonus objective is dumb, it's totally crap, you can go through the
     entire mission without a peep from friend or foe and still fail it.
     Anyway, as a challenge try doing this mission without engaging the NSO.
     It's a bit tricky but very possible.

Mission 11: STATE SECURITY

Mission 12: RETRIBUTION

       *using the vehicle take out the enemies on the road, there are two
       *enemies on the left road and three on the right road (go left first)
   (S) Neutralize House Patrols
       *there are three or four enemies around the house at waypoint DELTA
  (P) Neutralize Outer Patrols
      *includes road and house patrols
  (P) Clear Ruins Area
      *kill all NSO troops by the ruins, don't rush it or you may end up dead
      *this is where you started 2 missions ago
  (P) Clear The House
      *this is the house that you planted the bugs in, two enemies inside
  (P) Infiltrate the Barn
      *reach the new room in the barn, what I mean is the door that could
      *not be opened 2 missions ago, go in there
  (P) Infiltrate the Salt Mine
      *go in the underground passage
   (S) Obtain Intel
       *there is a laptop in the first room to the right if you take the
       *right path as you enter the mine
   (B) Restrain Arms Dealer ***(this is also a (C) objective)***
       *he gives up easy, find him in towards the South of the mine, take
       *the right path as soon as you enter the mine, clear out the room
       *with the laptop in it and then take a right after that room, kill
       *the NSO in here, shut off the generator and then you should
       *hear the arms dealer give up, take a left when you exit that room
       *there is also a generator in the room with the arms dealer
   (C) Disable the Generators
       *they make an obvious noise, so follow the noise
  (P) Secure Salt Mine
      *take care of all NSO threats in the salt mine
  (P) Secure FATCAT
      *make your way to waypoint ZULU where FATCAT will kindly surrender

Mission 13: WATERLOGGED
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTE: there are many ways to do this mission, some harder than others, but
     if you generally follow the green line on your tacmap, you'll be fine
  (P) Locate Dr. Mironova
      *zoom in with binocs on her, she is marked on the tacmap
NOTE: on your way through the courtyard, there are two ways to go, high left
     and low right, high left is faster (thanks Snowfox for high left way)
     I'll leave it two you guys to find them both, besides there is a
     checkpoint right before so its no big deal if you screw up...both involve
     opening doors (little hint there)
  (P) Locate Krzysztof Gryc
      *zoom in with binocs, he's located on the tacmap (good intel huh)
  (P) Move to extract
      *simple yet tricky, timing is key in your movement
  (P) Maintain Stealth
      *don't let anyone see you at any time during the mission
    (B) No Terrorists Engaged ***(this is also a (C) objective)***
        *refrain from shooting any NSO terrorists

Mission 14: BREWED CHAOS
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    (B) Commandeer Enemy Boat
        *i recommend killing all visable enemies before getting your ENTIRE
        *team on the enemy boat because otherwise you will get shot at more
        *than I believe you would like (thanks John Moon for this objective)
NOTE: I found this mission a lot easier when I didn't use the boat in order
     to "soften up the area" I get on and then off after I get the objective.
  (P) Clear the Safehouse
      *there are a number of NSO around the safehouse, check every possible
      *sniper location before entering the house, then kill the NSO inside
  (P) Clear the Courtyard
      *easiest to do it yourself with a silent sniper rifle
NOTE: when entering the Brewery, I suggest entering via the ladder by the
     turret on the West side of the building
  (P) Neutralize Dr. Mironova
      *kill her, as far as I know she doesn't give up
  (P) Clear the Brewery
      *take out the NSO terrorists inside and prepare for a war
  (P) Neutralize Krzysztof Gryc
      *he is the last and toughest NSO terrorist that storms the brewery
      *he comes in the East side
  (P) Defend the Brewery
      *kill all attackers and do not let them shoot the big tank on the
      *South wall of the brewery
