Silpheed is an overhead shooter game series made by Game Arts, of "Lunar"
fame. The original game in the series, "Silpheed: Super Dogfighter" Game Arts
made for the popular Japanese 8-bit PCs of the time such as the PC88 and the
FM77. It was ported to the IBM PC and the Apple II by Sierra for US audiences.
Game Arts' second game in the series, simply titled "Silpheed," was released
in Japan and the US for the Sega CD. It combined pre-rendered backgrounds and
animated characters and also included CD audio. It looks cool and was more
highly rated than this game, and so I'm planning on playing it someday.
"Silpheed - The Lost Planet," made by Game Arts and Treasure, was released
in the USA by Working Designs. You can play the game on Normal or Hard and
play with 10 or 5 shields. For the purposes of this walkthrough, I've only
bothered with the easiest combination of Normal/10 shields. When I later
played the first few levels on Hard, they didn't really seem any harder. The
back of the box says it has "eight levels" but as far as I can tell, at least
on Normal, it has only 6 levels. You can save your setup and high scores but
you can't save your game, for some dumb reason, since you have infinite
continues. I had to leave my PS2 on for four days when I finally made the
push to pass this game. If I could have saved, I could have saved electricity
and wear on my PS2. One thing you can do if you are taking a break is to eject
the disk, when on the weapon selection screen, so as to give the DVD drive a
break.
Recently, "Project Sylpheed" was made by Game Arts for the Xbox 360. It was
released in Japan by Square-Enix, since Enix has been releasing most of
Game Arts' games these days, such as the "Grandia" series. This game is a 3D
1st-person shooter that resembles many of the Lucasfilm Star Wars games. Thus,
it plays much differently from the earlier games in the Silpheed series.
Game Arts' earlier platformer/shooter "Thexder" may also be related to the
Silpheed series. Since Sierra also ported it for the US market, many claim it
to be the precursor to Silpheed. It is then interesting to note that Square's
very first game for the Famicom (the Japanese NES) was a port of "Thexder."
So this game series has started and ended with Square.
As in previous Silpheed games you get 2 guns to place on your ship, 1 on the
left and 1 on the right. The two guns can be the same or different. Halfway
through each stage you get to change your guns and 4 of your destroyed shields
will be repaired. You start the first stage with a choice of 2 different guns.
If you lose all your shields the game is over, but you can continue at the
beginning of the stage. If you pass a stage, based on how many points you've
earned on that stage, you will unlock 1 or more guns for use on the following
stages. Again, when trying to unlock guns, you are NOT penalized for
continuing, since only your score for the current stage matters. You get a
points multiplier of x2, x4, x8, or 16 the closer you are to an enemy when you
kill it and bonus points when you kill all of the characters in a group.
These are your weapons in the order you get them. The only really useful
ones are the first 4:
Vulcan - Standard machine gun.
Fires 1 column of weak bullets in a straight line.
Vvulcan - Fires two columns of weak bullets in a V formation.
Better than Vulcan since it shoots twice as many bullets and
when bullets shot at an angle are useful.
Optics Laser - Fires a strong beam in a column. It is the strongest gun that
you can use when you want to shoot straight ahead, but unlike
the Vulcan does not shoot a continuous stream of fire. But,
if you use 2 of them.... see below
Napalm Bomb - Shoots 3 groups of 2 bombs. One group behind you and 1 to the
left and right at 30 degrees from center. Napalm is the
strongest weapon, period, but it doesn't shoot straight ahead
and the bombs only go a short distance until they explode.
Not an easy weapon to use when first playing a level... see
below for more information
7 Type Beam - Like the Vulcan but stronger. The direction you move your
ship affects the direction you fire.
Useless by the time you get it.
Falsion Wiper - A large continuous beam that shoots somewhere between straight
ahead and straight to the side you put the gun on. When you
push forward it moves to the side and when you push backward it
moves forward. Might actually be useful if it worked the
opposite way... Useless.
Star Bow - Again, this is like the Vulcan, but it is more random in the
direction that it shoots. It's not strong enough to be
useful by the time you get it.
Plasma Ball - Charges and then shoots a large purple ball that plows through
enemies. You can shoot up to 3 balls. Seems useful, but they
don't shoot perfectly straight and I always did better with
the Optics Laser or Napalm. Probably useless.
Thunder Arrow - Holding the button makes 4 balls extend to the side of your
ship that the gun was attached on. When you release the button
the bullets fly forward. A pain in the butt, since you have
keep releasing the button to shoot. It's also not powerful
enough to be useful.

TIPS FOR USING 2 OF THE SAME GUN
I'm sure you've asked yourself why they bothered separate buttons for
shooting the left gun and right gun, when you usually just want to shoot both
your guns:
• When using 2 Optics Lasers, press the left or right fire button once,
just as the beam has finished shooting out, hold down the "both" fire button
and now your shots will alternate between the two guns so that you
practically have a constant single stream of Optics Laser.
• Do a similar thing when using 2 Napalms to time your shots to space them out
evenly so that there aren't big gaps between the explosions.

THE CHEAT
There is only one known cheat for the game. It could have really used a
stage select. Anyway, if you want to cheat enter the following name:
Japanese version: XACALITE (I haven't tried the Japanese one.)
USA version: GLOIRE
This will get you all 9 weapons from the start of level 1. Still, this cheat
is useless since you'll probably get Optics Laser at the end of stage 1. And
Napalm by the end of stage 2.
Both of these names are listed in the high score table. From what I can
tell of the story...
XACALITE is the name of the main enemy in Silpheed 1.
GLOIRE is the name of the ship XACALITE stole.
Note that in all of the game, blue enemy shots from enemies can be shot,
yellow ones cannot, and green not only can't be shot but they also track you.
Stage 1 - Part 1: Use Vvulcan/Vvulcan
• If you can't pass stage 1 without this guide, you should play different game.
• First you'll encounter a few groups of easy guys. These guys are typical of
shooter games. Shoot them all for the group bonus.
• 4 birds will come from the middle of screen, shoot them all.
• Big Enemy: Tan Crab
The Crab will come and shoot at you. Just shoot it and kill it.
• 1 group of easy guys
Stage 1 - Large Craft - Midboss: Purple Insect
• It has 4 legs and 2 arms
• Its right arm shoots green balls which can be avoided.
• Its left arm will swing out in front of it. The arm can hit you
and it also will deliver an attack of some blue balls which can be shot.
Just before it swings a green cloud of smoke comes out of it.
• You need to take out its body, but both arms can be shot off too. I
generally take out its green ball arm before its body.
Stage 1 - Part 2: Use Vvulcan/Vvulcan
• 8 large red guys with two arms that shoot blue shots. Easily destroyed
by moving back and forth on the bottom of the screen.
• 26 enemies that are attached to rolling pieces of debris that slowly
shoot out slow yellow shots. They are easily shot and the debris will not
hurt you if you touch it.
Stage 1 - Large Craft - Boss: Tan Ship
• First Part: It alternates between shooting blue shots and spread shots of
yellow shots. Shoot the blue ones while avoiding the yellow ones. Part of
the enemy will blow up.
• Second Part: It shoots out black balls which stop and then move horizontally
across the screen, avoid them. It also shoots a spread shot of yellow shots
which are tough to avoid completely. Another part of the ship blows up.
• Third Part: It shoots out a spread of yellow shots, you can avoid them if
are in the middle bottom of the screen.
• Forth Part: It'll barrel roll left than right shooting pink blasts,
avoid them. It should be dead before this part is done...
• Fifth Part: It'll fly to the bottom of the screen and shoot up at you with
the black balls. If you have Vvulcan, you can hit it from the side, the
black balls won't hit you.
• Sixth Part: Now it shoots with the blue shots. If you have Vvulcan, you can
shoot it from the side, even though it can now hit you, as it must be almost
dead by now.
• If for some reason you haven't killed it yet (I think it's impossible unless
you haven't been holding down the shoot button) it'll repeat starting from
the third part. Personally, I never went past the fourth part until I made
this FAQ.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Since you are reading this walkthrough, I'll assume you haven't picked up
Napalm yet; I often didn't. If you have, you might rather use Napalm/Napalm
during stage 2, but it isn't necessary.
Stage 2 - Part 1: Use Optics Laser/Optics Laser
• 6, then 10, then 10 small Pie Plate Octopi attack. Shoot them all.
If you miss one, it's okay; I usually miss 1.
Stage 2 - Large Craft - Midboss: Octopus Pie Plate
• Just focus on its main body, it'll die before doing anything else.
But if you don't shoot it quick enough or you are using a weaker weapon
like the Vulcan, it'll start to charge up to shoot a bolt of lighting
wherever you currently are. When it shoots, move so that the shots don't
hit you. Then it'll do it one more time. You can shoot its arms too,
but there is no reason to do so.
Stage 2 - Part 1 Continued:
• 4 or so groups of easy guys attack.
• Green-red guys attack. They are easily killed.
• Big Enemy: Red Guy that grows tentacles
If it grabs you just make sure it doesn't shoot its large blast into you!
Otherwise, avoid its small shots and take it out as soon as possible so as
to be able to get a clean shot to shoot the other guys coming next.
• 3 green-red guys attack on the left, then on the right; just shoot them.
• 3 red fish guys attack on left, then the right; just shoot them.
• 1 group of easy guys on the left
• 2 birds from the middle
• 2 groups of easy guys on the left and a mushroom on a building.
Shoot the easy guys, then the mushroom, then the next group of easy guys,
then finish off the mushroom making sure to shoot the spores it releases.
• A vertical blast shooting insect from the left, then one from the right
Avoid its shot.
• 1 group of easy guys on the left
• A falling building, if you touch the fallen building your shield will be
damaged, so don't crash into it.
• 2 blast insects & 2 more mushrooms, shoot them all.
• More falling buildings to avoid, 4 blast insects, and 2 mushrooms.
You don't have to shoot both of the mushrooms.
• Lots of easy guys. Shoot from the middle to take them all out, or just
concentrate on one side.
• Big Enemy: Two large airplanes assimilated by the aliens
Take each out making sure to not get shot by their continual yellow shots
and occasional blue blasts. Avoid them when the perform their barrel roles
or their guns will hurt you.
Stage 2 - Part 2: Use Optics Laser/Optics Laser
• 4 groups of easy guys
Stage 2 - Large Craft - Midboss 2: Snake
• To defeat it, you need to take out both its head and the tip of its tail
even though its the scales on the body that shoot you with yellow and blue
shots. So, when it comes, take out it's head. Then take out MOST of the
scales then focus on the tip of the tail. If you take too long and its
scales reform, take out MOST of them again.
Stage 2 - Part 2 Continued:
• 6 birds from the middle, kill them all
• Lava flame spurts, I find it's best to attack them from almost at the top of
the far right side of the screen.
• 6 green-red, 1 bird, and 3 fish attack; shoot-em!
Stage 2 - Large Craft - Boss: Turtle Shell
• The first thing that will happen is fire spurts will arise from the lava
from the top to the bottom of the middle of the screen. Avoid them or they
will hurt you.
• Second, the boss will rise out of the lava and will knock down buildings,
which will fall and can hurt you. Shoot it.
• Third, it will shoot some small bullets at you. Shoot it.
• Forth, if you haven't killed it by now, it will summon up more fire spurts,
avoid them. Guess what, shoot it.
• If you haven't killed it by the end of this part, it has probably killed you.
If somehow you've both managed not to kill each other, it will repeat it's
attacks with the third part.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stage 3 - Part 1: Use Napalm/Napalm (or Vvulcan/Napalm)
• 4 easy groups coming from up high, so that they look large at first
• 3 groups of green red
• Big Enemy: Tan Crab
Same guy as before, but this time it moves very slowly shooting some bombs
behind it, which really don't stand a chance of hitting you if you move to
the side. While shooting it, it will shoot some really deadly bombs, except
they will all go off the screen in this stage, so you don't have to worry
about them.
• 2 groups of tiny disks attack while you are fighting the Tan Crab, but since
they don't shoot at you on this stage, they are easy.
• Down the large vertical tube we go...
• 3 small craft attack shooing blue shots, take them out.
• 3 more attack while 3 large machines stuck to the walls (the Intercept
System) shoot yellow shots which you must avoid. Again take out these 3
small craft then focus your attacks on the large machines taking out the
little guys that get in the way.
• Next comes 4 guns around a ring shooting slow yellow shots; take them all
out quickly starting from one side. Their shots bounce off the ring, so
you want to take them out ASAP.
• Next comes 4 yellow laser shooters at 90 degree angles around a ring, after
appearing they will turn their lasers on and start rotating counter
clockwise around the ring. Start out in the upper left and follow them to
the right while shooting at the same one to kill it. Soon they will slow
down and start rotating the other way. With 2 Napalms they will soon be
dead.
Stage 3 - Part 2: Use Napalm/Napalm
• 2 easy groups
• A horizontal row of flowers will appear. They each shoot a powerful laser
down at you. You need to destroy at least one to have somewhere to stand
when they shoot. They will be followed by two vertical groups, 1 on the
left and then 1 on the right. If you just stay at the top of the screen
they can't hurt you.
• Big Enemy: Red Scorpion
It attacks while more flowers shooting down appear.
• In its first form it shoots green shots which are not homing shots and
can be avoided, it's just tough because the flowers are there too
shooting down at you. Just keep your eye on the flowers to make sure
you avoid their shots.
• In its second form it will shoot a lot of lasers at you. The first
group of shots can be easily avoided. The second group is much
tougher to avoid, especially with the flowers shooting down at you. So,
you may want to take a hit if you can focus on taking out the ship
ASAP.
• Big Enemy: Tan Crab.
This guy again. He's easy, even though some other easy guys appear at
the same time.
A second one appears with 2 birds. Then a third one appears with 2 birds.
• Now you have to fight the defense system robots. They are pretty easy.
Large ships will send out some small ships on a yellow beam of light.
Just take the small ships out. You can touch the beams without getting
hurt. You can't hurt the ships which are making the beams of light.
Stay close to them to easily get x16s on the first and second groups.
The third and last group is of two large ships, be sure to take out all
the small ships from the ship on the right as they rotate clockwise.
Make sure you miss the shots from the other ships and take them out too
if you have the shot.
Stage 3 - Boss: Hamster Wheel
• The boss can only be hurt by shooting the creature in the center of the
wheel, not from shooting the wheel itself. He's quite tough, none of
its attacks can be shot with your guns, and you need to kill it quickly
before it gets to the explosions, so a strong offensive weapon is the
key to killing it quickly. That's why Napalm/Napalm is by far the best
combination.
• At first, before it appears, start on the left of the screen and let your
Napalm do most of the damage when it is next to you or in front of you.
• Avoid it when it rolls back at the middle of the screen. I stay on its
right side when it does this, but just make sure you stay to one side.
Keep shooting it from the side with the Napalm.
• Now it'll start shooting green shots. Don't worry about avoiding them.
Worry about killing it. It's about to get much tougher if you don't
take it out soon.
• When large white explosions appear on both sides of it, things get tough.
Ideally being aggressive with the double Napalm would take it out before
this point. It's pretty hard to avoid the explosions. Just shoot it as
constantly as possible and hope dies before you do!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stage 4 - Part 1: Use Optics Laser/Optics Laser
• All you do is fight 5 groups of previouly encountered Big Enemies or
Midbosses. I would say they are about 20% harder here, but you kill them the
same way you did before; so refer to the strategies listed when they were
encountered the first time:
• Stage 1's: 2 Tan Crab Big Enemies
They are much harder now. They launch bombs in the air that cause
explosions. Each bomb lands close to the last one, so moving across the
screen the explosions will slowly chase you. Avoid the explosions and
take out them both out!
• Stage 2's: 1 Octopus Pie Plate Midboss
You won't take it out before it's lightning blasts are shot, so you'll
have to avoid them.
• Stage 2's: 2 Assimilated Airplane Large Enemies
• Stage 2's: 1 Snake Midboss
You won't be able to take out it's head right away; so, instead, first you
will have to take out a lot of it's scales. Then go after the heads.
• Stage 3's: 1 Red scorpion Large Enemy with shooting flowers
Stage 4 - Part 2: Use Optics Laser/Optics Laser or Napalm/Napalm
Boss: Supply Ship
• After refueling you immediately fight the final boss.
• First you must defeat both of the thrusters.
• If they shoot out a blue flame avoid it.
• If they shoot out blue blasts dodge them.
• If they shoot out yellow shots, these can actually be destroyed.
• Now you must defeat the center part of the ship.
• If the ship starts to charge up,
it is going to shoot a large laser in vertical line; just avoid it.
• If the ship shoots out 6 green homing bullets, just get hit by them and
keep shooting the boss until it explodes.
You should only get hit once before it explodes.
• Now the head flies around trying to hit you, dodge it as best you can.
The first time it will fly at you from the top middle of the screen.
• Once it stops flying, you'll either be shot with
• 6 blue shots that shoot in straight lines;
they can be easily avoided
• 6 green shots which are homing;
they are difficult but possible to avoid
either avoid them or keep shooting at the head until it explodes.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stage 5 - Part 1: Use Optics Laser/Optics Laser
• The level starts out with some simple enemies shoot them all. Of the large
rocks flying on the scree, two of them are special. If you shoot them, they
will produce one of the larger enemies, but it is easy to just shoot the
larger enemy and kill it.
• When you get to the rotating rocks with lasers or bullets being shot out,
shoot them all. The pattern to take them out is pretty nartural. The only
suggestion I think you need is: on the last two rocks shoot the last of the
guns on the left rock before you take out the last two guns on the last rock
on the right.
Stage 5 - Midboss: Commander's Ship
• The midboss is really easy if you have two Optics Lasers and you don't mind
possibly being hit 1 time.
• Simply get as close to the rose in the center of the ship and shoot
constantly. You will have to move slightly left and right to stay centered
on it.
• The only way you will get hit once is if it shoots a group of yellow and
blue bullets. Just ignore them and take the hit. You'll destroy the boss
before being hit anymore, and you'll get at least an x8 when doing so...
useful for unlocking those last two (useless) weapons.
Stage 5 - Part 2: Use Vvulcan/Napalm
• Shoot the 2 big red 2 armed squid enemies close and then back away when
they explode to avoid the pink dots.
• Shoot the tiny disks ASAP. Unlike when we saw them on stage 3, if you don't
take them out immediately, they let loose a barrage of bullets that you
won't be able to avoid.
• Shoot the 2 big red 4 armed squid enemies close and then back away when
they explode to avoid the pink dots.
• Having these two guns really helps on this part, stay towards the middle of
the screen shooting enemies with the Vvulcan and letting the Napalm destroy
the larger ships. I always lose the most health here.
Stage 5 - Boss: Green Claw
• First part: Stay close to it like you did for the midboss, but avoid the
green shots when possible. Do this until you take out both of its arms.
• Second part: It will shoot massive blasts in a straight line, but they are
not that hard to avoid. I fly one way for two shots and they cross the
other way for the next two shots and repeat this process until it shoots
out a red ball.
• Third part: Shoot the red balls when the come out. Try to shoot the boss
at the same time with your other Vvulcan when possible. It will rotate
clockwise once. Just rotate with it and make sure it doesn't hit you
as you take out the red balls as quickly as possible.
• Then return to the second part. I killed it the third time I saw the
second part.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stage 6 - Part 1: Use Napalm/Napalm
• STAY IN THE MIDDLE of the screen's X axis for the first 5 sets of enemies.
If you don't kill all or most of them you are too high or low. Also try to
get your Napalm shots spaced out correctly at least by the 2nd set of
enemies.
• Stay 35% down from the top of the screen for the first group of easy guys
flying from both sides. Kill them all.
• The next group will swarm to the top of the screen. Take as much out as
possible moving to one side (ok, you don't have to stay in the middle for
these guys) but then pull back to avoid the yellow shots.
• Take out the 3rd group like you did the first group. They are the easy
green-red aliens from the beginning of stage 2.
• Pull down to 50% from the top. Your goal here is to shoot all the birds
but if you miss 1 you shouldn't have much trouble avoiding its shots.
• The first really hard part. Make sure you stay in the middle only moving
up or down for these guys. I use the joypad for this part. 5 groups of 2
tiny disks from Stage 5 are here now. Remember that if you don't shoot
these guys immediately they cover the screen with bullets. Napalm is
essential here for taking them out. I start out about 55-60% from the top
and move up and down to avoid shots and hit as many groups as possible.
• Now, the 2nd group of enemies repeats their attack.
• 3 groups of 3 groups or 5 laser shooting flowers will attack now forming a
line at the right, left, and then top of the screen. Just fly to the
absolute top of the screen. Only the flowers on top can hurt you and there
are none on top for the 3rd group. Just move left and right to take out some
of the guys on the top so they don't hurt you.
• These guys are the next hard group of enemies after the tiny disks.
As you are hanging out at the top of the screen with the 3rd group of flowers
move to the right so as your attack is aimed for the middle of the screen to
take out the first set of birds who shoot corkscrew patterned vulcan shots.
Go below the horizontal shots of the 2nd group. Go right of the next group.
Go left of the next group. Go to either side of the last group. You are
trying to stay as close to the middle as possible to not get pinned down.
• Big Enemy: 3 Tan Crabs
Move to the lower right, take out the guy on the right. Then fly up to avoid
the pink and yellow shots of the other guys. You might take out the middle
one in the process.
• For the next 2 groups of 2 red guys don't shoot at all! Just move left and
right on the bottom of the screen to avoid their shots. You can shoot to
destroy their blue shots if necessary. You might do this just as they are
leaving, but try not to make them explode into tiny pink bullets.
• Now you fight the first set of earwig sperm. Make sure your shots are
alternating again. This group is MUCH easier than the later one because
it is so much smaller. Still, when they explode their explosions hurt you,
so start at the top and pull back every time so they don't explode on top of
you.
• Now stay at the top of the screen to take out the tiny umbrella laser
shooters with high defense. The Napalm is a big help here.
• As the previous group is ending, a small group of glowing pink guys with
really high defense (that practically can't be killed with weaker weapons)
will surround your ship and then eventually start shooting at you... unless
you have Napalm which will take them out before any of this ever happens.
• Next a large group of earwig sperm will attack. Fight them as before, but
stay to the far left or right of the screen. Pulling back to avoid their
explosions and moving forward when the explosions disappear. These
guys can be hard, but if you follow this procedure and only try to kill
the ones on your side of the screen they aren't that bad.
• Lastly a large group of glowing pink guys come. You must kill them all.
They are a joke if you have Napalm... which you have! If they happen to
get a shot out, just avoid it.
Stage 6 - Midboss: Sword
• First part: Start to the lower right or left of it so your Napalm can hit
the handle of the sword. It shoots the typical yellow and blue bombs.
Avoid as many as you can shooting the blue ones and/or moving to the other
side of it.
• Second part: It does one of two different attacks as a sword.
• It swings itself as a sword 4-5 times. I really can't say how to avoid it.
Many times it looks like it hits me but I don't get hurt. I'm not sure
how the game determines a hit. But just try to avoid the blade of the
sword. Shoot the handle of the sword if you can but don't make it a
priority.
• It spins around as a rotating blade. This is more obvious when it is
going to hit you. Avoid and shoot just like in the other attack.
• Third part: It shoots homing missiles at you. It is possible to avoid them.
• If it's not dead by now, which it often isn't, it will repeat all these
parts.
Stage 6 - Part 2: Use Optics Laser/Napalm
Boss: Core Alien
• First form: Ship
Just shoot the center of it as much as possible. Don't aim at its guns, but
if you have one Napalm attached you will destroy them before you destroy the
center. It'll attack with lasers from these guns before they are destroyed.
Since you will destroy its guns, after doing so you will need to stay away
from the area they used to be when it shoots a barrage of bullets from that
area. At that point, go to the absolute center of it, close to it, so the
bullets will shoot on either side of you. It may also shoot charged shots
from some poles that stick out from it. When it moves left and right, it
will shoot multi-shots from multi-barrel guns on the sides, and homing green
shots, both of which you can avoid.
• Second form: Alien
Shoot its tail, but when the tail descends don't touch it or you'll get hurt.
Just avoid its shots and shoot its main body with your laser while taking out
segments of its tail with your Napalm. When it moves up shoot what's left of
its tail with your laser. Now that its tail is gone, just try to avoid its
shots: shoot its blue shots, avoid its homing missiles and fly around
avoiding its body while shooting its body. The first time I tried
Optics Laser/Napalm (instead of Optics Laser x2) I killed it so that's the
best thing I can suggest to use.
Thanks to Working Designs for localizing it, adding analog control,
and removing slowdown present in the Japanese version.
Thanks to the two existing FAQs on GameFAQs. Without them, I would have
given up thinking the game actually had 8 levels...
Thanks to Costco for offering this game in a 2 pack with Jedi Starfighter,
else I would have never gotten it.
Thanks to my wife for doing something which made me choose to force myself
only to play games I had started but hadn't passed. I first played this game
when I bought it on March 7, 2003.
