1.a Introduction|

Okay, this guide is for people who are interested in playing Zhu Rong in
Dynasty Warriors 3: Xtreme Legends. In this guide I will do my best to
descrive her moves, strengths and weaknesses and how to beat her Musou mode.
I will tell you the locations of her fourth and fifth weapon. Keep in mind
that this is my first FAQ so bare with me and enjoy :)

1.c Who is Zhu Rong?|

In order to play as Zhu Rong you first must know who she is (duh). Zhu Rong is
the unaligned female with blond hair who is said to be the descendant of the
God of fire. She fights with a Boomerang and is said to be a master at
projectiles (throwing things). This is the husband of the Nanman leader Meng
Huo (why I dont know:p) thus making her the Queen. She is the only female
warrior to go into battle beside her husband. She managed to capture the Shu
generals Ma Zhong and Zhang Yi but was captured herself. She was later released
by Zhuge Liang.

1.d How is she Unlocked?|

You can unlock her in one of two ways. The first is to use a cheat code (shame
on you!) and the second is to play the Nanman stage (Shu or Wu, doesnt matter)
and defeat her. When she is defeated then she will appear as playable.

1.e Why should I use her?|
--------------------------
Zhu Rong is very fun to play with as you dont get smashed into the ground when
you first start off with her like some other characters. She has her very own
set of weapons (sweeet!) and uses them effectively. It is also good to play
with somone who uses something besides a sword or spear for a change. Coupled
with a good tiger amulet she with have good strength and a naturally good
defence when maxed out. Her life gauge is average, not short like other
characters which can cripple their performances.

1.f Move List|
--------------
Zhu Rongs moves have a generaly wide range and good damage, her they are!
S- Regular attack used by pressing the Square button
T- Special attack that can be tied in with any S combo, used by pressing the
triangle button
(T)- Extendable attack that can make a character do more hits, only in some
cases. Used by pressing the triangle button again at the right time.
Misc Attacks
Jump: Zhu Rong leaps into the air and slashes a full 360 degrees,
with her body also doing 360 degrees.
Running: Zhu Rong will lunge forward on her right leg and slash 180
degrees from left to right, when she is finished her left foot will be infront.
Riding Attack (S): Zhu Rong will slash left to right and then right to left.
Riding Attack (T): Zhu Ring will throw her boomerang which will do a 360
degree circle around her.
Riding Musou: Zhu Rong will throw her boomerand around her similar to the (T)
version, a very good musou for riding.
Musou: Zhu Rong will fire out multiple waves of 5 darts in front of her.
When the musou bar runs out she will throw darts 360 degrees around her. She
doesnt stay still for this either and can move around. A good attack for taking
out archers at mid-long ranges.
True Musou: Fire element added. Pretty much the same except she will add
another 360 degrees dart wave.
Regular Attacks:
S- 180 degree slash from left to right
S-180 degree slash from right to left
S- A solid vertical kick with her right foot
S- A 270 degree slash from right to left, Zhu Rong will spin her body 360
degrees
S- 180 degree slash from right to left, Zhu Rong will spin her body 360 degrees
again (she must get dizzy!)
S- 180 degree slash from right to left but this time she will leap into the
air, said to be her trademark move
Hard (Triangle) Attacks:
T- Zhu Rong will take a step forward on to her right foot,
and slash her Blade(s) 360 degrees from right to left
ST- Normal juggler, vertical slash that sends the enemy flying in the air
SST- Zhu Rong throws the Boomerang straight in front of her (not far) and it
spins back
SSST- By far her best attack, Zhu Rong throws her boomerang that does three
360 circles around her, she will also spin her body 360 degrees twice.
A formidable attack with her fourth as it adds fire to it. This will do massive
damage and is excellent for crowd clearing.
SSSST(T)- Another standard juggler, much like her first except she will raise
her left leg a little. Press T again for a follow up were she will jump up and
slam the enemy back down with a vertical slash with both hands on the
boomerang.
SSSSST- Zhu Rong will spin 360 degree and shoot out 5 lasers, darts whatever in
all directions in front of her. A good attack but it doesnt do enough damage on
the harder levels and leaves her back open to attack.

1.g Weapons|

As said before, Zhu Rong uses boomerangs as weapons, her first two have only
two points, but her third, fourth and fifth have three, thus dealing more
damage. Like everyone else (except Lu Bu) Zhu Rong is weak with her first and
second weapons, but when she gets her fourth/fifth she becomes a powerhouse.

1st, 2nd and 3rd weapon are obtained randomly, however of you play a harder
stage on a harder difficulty then the chances of you getting a betting weapon
will increase. Fourth and Fifth weapons however must be obtained in a precise
way. Dont forget that Fourth Weapons can be obtained on hard, but Fifth weapons
must be obtained on very hard. Musou and free modes are exceptable.
Weapon: Magma Wheel
Stage: Nanman campaign (Original Mode)
Side: Nanman Forces
Type: Precious Item
Location: Near the bridge at the centre of the map, elevated so look for it up
high. Requirments: Keep Dong Tung Na and Ahui Nan alive for 15 minutes. If they
are still alive after fifteen minutes they will retreat together and the weapon
will show up.
This weapon is hard to get but not impossible. Make sure that you have good
bodyguards and Zhu Rongs third weapon. You also might need a horse. First
concentrate in helping Ahui Nan as Dong Tung Ne will be safe for a while. Go to
the east part of the map and clear out Ma Chao and Zhang Yi so that Ahui Nan
has room to breath. If your quick enough than you can save the gate. Once they
are defeated Ahui Nan will already be on his way towards Zhao Yun's area.
Quickly go over their and aid him by clearing out that area. Next cross the
bridge to the northen side were Zhuge Liang is, but dont attack anyone yet.
Cross the bride into Zhang Bao's area and clear out the enemies from behind so
that you can trap any remaining generals and troops in between you and Yong
Kai. If this is to hard for you then get a horse and ride through all of the
troops and fight along side Yong Kai. By now fifteen minutes will be up and
they will both reatreat. Go and get the weapon and defeat all remaining
generals on the field. Leave Zhang Fei and Zhuge Liang till last. So that you
can concentrate on Zhang Fei. Once he is dealth with make a final charge in
Zhuge Liang, but watch out for the archers.
Weapon: Tri Blade
Stage: Battle at Hei Fei Castle (Xtreme Mode)
Side: Zhu Rong's Forces
Type: Precious Item
Location: South of the Wind Corridor
Requirments: Defeat Cao Pi, Xiao Qiao, Zhou Yu, Diao Chan, and Zhen Ji
This weapon is almost impossible to get since it is on very hard, it will take
a fully maxed out Zhu Rong, a good set of items and a fourth weapon to get.
Okay since Zhou Yu is closest take him out first and if you think you are good
enough take out Sun Shao as well. Then take out Cao Pi. Once this is done
chances are that Meng Huo is in trouble so go and help him out. However as soon
as you walk into the centre archers will come out (doh!) so help out Meng and
take out Zhen Ji next who should come into that area soon if she is not already
there. Then concentrate on taking out everyone from the middle so that Meng Huo
will survuve, yes including the archers. Next go and take out Xiao Qiao and
then Diao Chan. Make sure that you free up some soldiers to come and help you,
some generals might also come and help you also. Once those two are gone Zhu
Rong and Meng Huo will say something about being the strongest couple ever and
the weapon should show up so go and get it. Everyone should now concentrate on
Lu Bu. Take out all of his soldiers and body guards so that he is the last man
on his side standing.
Evaluation on Weapons: Zhu Rong's SSST on her fourth was insane is took out
almost everyone around her and burnt them to dust. However when you equip her
fourth the fire element is lost. However the sixth T will become somwhat
stronger. Also Zhu Rong's fourth weapon also helped her defence, and musou
where as her fifth raises attack and HP max. I would go with the fifth because
of the stats but if you are attached to her fourth weapons fire attack then
stick with that.

1.h Musou Mode Guide|

Stage: Nanman Campaign
Opponent: Shu Forces
Before you do anything take out Ma Chao and all of his troops who is right near
Meng Huo. Once that is done go north and defeat all of the troops, gates, Meng
Da and Yan Yan who are outside the fort. Then go east and defeat Zhuge Liang
and Ma Liang. Then make a charge on Liu Bei. Also if you are skilled enough
then after you have cleaned up outside the fort you can go inside and take on
Liu Bei and Sun Shang Xiang without defeating Zhuge Liang.
Stage: Wu Navy Skirmish
Opponent: Wu Forces
Okay, go to the east side and in order defeat Cheng Pu, Gan Ning and then
Zhou Yu. Then Xiao Qiao's forces will start to move along with Zhou Tai and
Taishi Ci's. Knock off Zhou Tai, then Taichi Ci and then finally show Xiao Qiao
how its done.
Stage: Chi Bi
Opponent: Wei Forces
(Groan) not another battle at sea! Now, this battle isnt to hard first go west
and take out the gate, then go after Cai Mao and then Zhen Ji who should have
Xiahou Yuan near her, if he is take out him first. Quickely go over to Meng Huo
and help him by defeating Xu Huang. Cao Ren and Cheng Yu might also be there as
well so take care of them as well. Once Meng Huo is safe defeat Cao Pi and Yue
Jin so that everyone can make a charge on Cao Cao.
Stage: Hu Lao Gate
Opponent: Dong Zhuo's Forces
First go north and defeat Hua Xiong. Next head west and take out Lu Bu. Or if
you dont want to take him on yet then you can go north, taking out the gates
and have a shot at Dong Zhou. If you do not defeat Lu Bu now then he will
almost always defeat Meng Huo when the Fan Shui gate opens. Once you have
defeated Lu Bu go north and take out Dong Zhou if you havent already. Then
defeat Zhang Liao, Xu Rong and all of the gates. Once this is done go to Hu Lao
Gate destroying every general in your way (their are alot). When you get to Hu
Lao Gate take out all of the gates before you start attacking Diao Chan.If you
do not then you will be fighting her with tons of troops. Unless she comes out
of the gate before you get there.
Stage: You Ting
Opponent: Wu Forces
First head south and take out Ling Tong, Da Qiao and the gate. Then take out
Pan Zhang. A ambush party led by Gan Ning will show up at the west outpost at
the 28.00 minute mark so take him out by going up the west path so you can trap
them between you and Meng Jie, defeat Zhu Huan also if he is there. Now go to
the centre where Meng Huo is and defeat Xu Sheng if he is there and anyone else
in the centre. Then go east and defeat Sun Shang Xiang and Ding Feng. Clean up
anywhere needed and go north with everyone behind you and take out Zhu Ran and
Cheng Pu. Another ambush! Take out the gate behind and to both sides Sun Ce and
then take out Lu Xun, Zhou Tai, Lu Su and then Sun Ce himself.
Stage: Hei Fei
Opponent: Wu Forces
Quickly go and help Meng Huo, defeating Xu Sheng on your way. Once you are
where Meng Huo is defeat Dong Xi. Now an ambush party will appear led by Lu
Meng and Han Dang. Quickly go defeat them and get back to protecting Meng Huo
in the centre centre. Now defeat Sun Shang Xian and Lu Su's troops. By now
Cheng Pu is done in the southwest and is also in the centre so take him out as
well. Now wait a little while for Da Qiao's unit to show up. When she does take
her out with ease as she appeares where most of your troops are. Then take out
Lu Xun's troop. Wait for support though as he has quite a few troops with him.
When you take out Lu Xun head for Sun Ce, taking out the three gates first. If
you are to slow in taking out Lu Xun then Sun Ce will advance to make matters
worse.
Note: When using these instructions take out the generals quickly.
If you dont then you might get more than 4 generals in the same place. So
take out generals as fast a possible.
Stage: Hei Fei Castle
Opponent: Allied Forces
Okay, the final battle. First take out Zhou Yu and the gate near him. Take out
Sun Shao as well because he is near by. Next take out Cao Pi before heading to
help Meng Huo. When you go to help Meng Huo however about a million archers
will show up. Take out Zhen Ji who should be in the middle by now along with
all of the archers and soldiers so that Meng Huo has nothing to worry about.
Then take out Xiao Qiao and Diao Chans troops before actually attacking them so
that no one can harm Meng Huo. Now take out any remaining general, troops and
gate caprains. Then go take out Lu Bu. A tip for defeating Lu Bu is to defeat
all of his body gurads, soliders and gates around him so that everyone can gang
up on him. Making the battle much easier against him.

1.i Using Zhu Rong Effectively|

Bad Points:
Firstly if you dont have Zhu Rong's fifth then her attack power is rather weak
and it can be very hard to do damage on the harder levels. Secondly her 6th T
is rather weak as it leaves her back open and again doesnt do much damage. She
also has quite a weak musou bar for taking out soldiers.
Good Points:
Okay, Zhu Rong may have a weaker attack bar but if you give her a good tiger
amulet then that can soon be fixed. Although her 6th T is weak in damage it is
good at taking down many archers at a time and thus, isnt as bad as you may
think. Her musou is also good for taking out archers at mid to long ranges.
She also has a good set of nice, wide moves and has good defence and speed. In
the end her good points by far out weight her bad ones.
