I. Introduction

G Generation spirits, the third installment for the Ggeneration series
for the PS2. Unlike it's previous reincarnations, Spirits returns back to
the old school style reminiscent of the PSX days, where stages are categorized
into series. There are 3 categories namely: One year War, Zion Revival and
Next Century Wars.

These are commands that are shown when you select a unit at the map.
Some commands will only be available if the unit has certain abilities or
option parts.
Move (移動) - If available, moves units to another block
Attack (攻撃) - If available, attacks
Launch (出撃) - WS command, launches MS inside WS
Turn (回頭) - Change direction
Tranform (変形) - transform to another mode
Land (着地) - When hovering, lands on surface
Hover (浮遊) - When on ground, rises to air
Determine (確定) - Finish move
Return (帰艦) - Returns to WS
Capture (捕獲) - WS command, Capture enemy MS with white flag
Confusion (撹乱幕) - uses command Beam Confusion to render beam attacks useless
Scatter (散布) - uses command to Scatter Minovsky Particles
Inside (奥面) - Move to inside map
Frontside (前面) - Move to front side map

III. Tutorial

==MASTER UNIT
Master Units does not require a Warship
HP and EN are recovered every turn
All unit inside the Master Unit Area can give support attack up to 7 units
Game will be over once the Master Unit is destroyed
SUPPORT ATTACK
Unit of the same team can do support attacks as long as they are within the
leader area. The conditions to be able to do a support attack are as follows:
-Must be within the leader area
-Must be within weapon range of the target enemy
-Must have enough EN to initiate an attack
==PINPOINT ATTACK (Attack weak point of warship)
Can be done during support attack on enemy Warships. All units must be able to
attack the single weak point on the enemy dealing a larger amount (1.5) of
damage.
Master units can get support attack from other units as long as the other units
are within the leader area of the master unit, and that the support units are
able to target the same area.
==HARO SCORE
When you defeat an enemy, you get a certain score.
-The Haro Ranking are from Black > Normal > Bronze > Silver > Gold > Platina
-When you clear the stage, your score would be equivalent to the Captial you
get
-Support Attack, Critical and Overkill adds to the score of the kill
-Option parts given to you will be determined by Rank
-Rank corresponds to your scout points, when you've accumulated enough, you
will be able to obtain the Guest characters as pilot
==STATUS
When you select a unit, you can see their status to determine how you play the
game.
UNIT
Attack Power (攻撃力) - Universal Attack power of the unit
Defence Power (防御力) - Universal Defense power of the unit
Mobility (機動力) - Determines how to evade effectively
Terrain Adoptability (地形適正) - Determines how well the unit can perform on
certain terrain
PILOT
Long Range attack (射撃) - Determines long range weapons aim
Melee (格闘) - Determines melee attack aim
Reaction (反応) - Determines overall aim and evasion of pilot
Awakening (覚醒) - Determines the aim of awakening type weapons, also affects
damage.
Tension Guage (テンションゲージ) - Affects the weapon attack and aim. The
higher the better.

Vice Captain (副長) Requires Leadership (指揮) and Operator (通信)
Operator (通信) With High Operator (通信), Warship aim increases

==UNIT RANKING
Unit level are different from the previous games. When player unit levels up,
you can automatically increase certain stats of the unit. On non player units,
they level up differently. They start from Lv C, B, A to S rank. When you
Levelup a unit to S Rank, you can add that unit to your factory after you clear
the stage. However,if you only reach A rank, your efforts would have been
wasted.
==OVERKILL
During assist attack, when the enemy HP has already reach 0, he will not be
able to evade the rest of the attacks, which will be considered as an overkill.
Doing damage more than than the life of a unit will incure a bonus in the Haro
Ranking score, with a maximum of 10 times. (ie. enemy HP is 2000, when you do
20000 damage, will give a bonus multiplier of 2.0 to the Haro Score)
==SUPPORT BONUS
When doing Assist attacks, every participant will be equivalent to and
additional 5% of the kill. So:
1 attacker is 0%
2 attacker is 5%
3 attacker is 10%

-When attacking warships with Pinpoint attacks, damage is 1.5 times

The Captain, Vice Captain and Guest determines this area
-affects the cell area of Capture, Rescue, Scatter and Confusion (Group area)
-affects the cell area coverage of the leader (Team area)
-affects the starting MP of pilots

Characters that appear in the scenario are automatically added in your profile,
however, depending on the Scout point (SP from here on), certain characters
will join your pool.
Status are determined by level
When you level up, status randomly go up. You can reset the characters level
and they will revert back to level 1. However, only original characters can
be reset.
You cannot use characters that is involved in the series you are playing.

You can change the name of original characters. Starting members are fixed.
Aside from the starting members, you need capital to recruit pilots. The first
pilot would cost 10000, adding 5000 to the succeeding pilots. The pilots you
get are random, and can change when you do soft reset or load. Max stat for
support stats (leadership, charm etc) is 15, however, only charm is the fixed
stat and will not increase.
