Version 0.4 (December 14, 2002)
A one-man update: all thanks to BiggieY2Killer, I've added the
   following:
 - IwaKutsuJin Barou's Meteo Dive.
 - Dantarion's walking Gather Energy and Horn Uppercut.
 - Vorgala units' Phantom System Teleport, Taunt and non-walking Gather
     Energy.
 - Guardian's Laser properties: it's three times as fast, 30% more powerful,
     and knocks down.
 - Removed AnkokuJin Brou's Waist Spin Hook (it doesn't actually have one)
As a result of adding more common moves for the Vorgala units, I've placed
separate Common Moves listings for each unit class, and altered the
   layout to improve readability.

Version 0.3 (December 12, 2002)
I'm a retard: Ultimate Modes CAN be used in VS mode, and Gllang and
Laguiole DO have them as well. Tons of thanks to Timothy Espasandin
and Carl Dorff for pointing out the error in my ways.
Not only that, but Gllang and Laguiole can do an Ultimate Attack (like
Vavel's Genesis Cry) out of their Ultimate Modes too.
Added a move for the Harrier: Fire Shower.
Changed "Raveler" for "Laborer", as it is used in the US version and the
Katakana REIBA-RA can be translated as that, too. Thanks to Timothy
   Espasandin for this too.

Version 0.2 (September 13, 2002)
Added the remaining Volgara units and Valdol to the movelist.
Changed the former spelling of "Vorgala" to "Volgara", as the latter will
apparently be the chosen romanization for the upcoming US release. I
refuse to use the laughable "Meganite" instead of "Kijin", though.
Corrected Drill Cript's name (was listed as Energy Drill)
 Added ASCII art.
Added a note about ammo notation, updated and rewrote others to make them
   more clear.
 Added movelist for main character.
 Added ASCII art.
 Corrected several minor errors.

Version 0.1 (September 7, 2002)
Created the move list, with all three Kijin, and seven of the enemy units.

- BUY THE GAME'S JAPANESE VERSION! I can't stress this enough! The voice
acting in the American version has been reported to cause plants to wither,
pets to explode without warning and people to age at ten times the natural
rate (check GameFaqs' message boards for plenty of discussion on how bad
the dubbing actually is). On the other hand, the Japanese has awesome voice
acting, up to par with good anime (in fact, I think they hired several
 famous seiyuu's).
Do note that you need a modded PS2 to be able to play the Japanese version,
 though.

- I've finished Story Mode using the girl and Vavel, and I unlocked Valdol.
I've heard that you can unlock the last boss (Ultimate Weapon Asmodai) by
finishing the game with a different character, which I'm in the process of
 verifying.

- I chose to keep the Japanese names of the Volgara for those that are
different. For those interested, here are the equivalencies:

                Japanese                       US
 -----------------------------------------  ---------
IwaKutsuJin (God of Caverns) Barou         Baron
GenJin (God of Illusions) Foh              Spectre
 FuuJin (Wind God) Fuuga                    Toxinator
AnkokuJin (God of Darkness) Brou           Banisher
Shuumatsu Heiki (Ultimate Weapon) Asmodai  Asmodeus

==========================================================================

- The names for the moves of the three Kijin (the main robots) are mostly the
official Japanese ones. Not so the Volgara (enemies) ones, since they don't
appear in the in-game command list.

- Yes, some of the moves are indeed listed with a wrong (or simply overly
complicated) execution in the in-game command list, or even in the story
sequences. Examples include the basic Chop and basic Upper, which are listed
as "b,o,f" and "b,i,f" respectively, when they can be performed simply by
"b,o" and "b,i"; and the worst case is for Laguiole's Gigantic Boomerang,
 listed as "<Charge> o,b,i,f" when "<Charge> f" will suffice.

- Movelists correspond to the status of the mecha in VS mode: remember that
some of these moves aren't available in Story mode until they're bought; and
that you start story mode with lower max stocks of the weapons (but on the
other hand, can upgrade them to be higher than the VS mode amounts).

- An exception to the above is the fact that Ultimate Modes (the ones that
power you up but set a 3-minute countdown timer on you) must be gained in
story mode to unlock them in VS mode. Two notes on this: Vavel starts with
Volcanic Mode, but (contrary to what I previously stated) CAN unlock Genesis
Mode (which replaces it, and that's why it's listed with the same motion in
the list) by finishing the game. Also, once you gain a Kijin's Ultimate Mode,
you unlock them all: you don't need to unlock each one separatelly. Thanks to
Timothy Espasandin and Carl Dorff for pointing out the existence of Ultimate
 Modes for Laguiole and Gllang.

- When listing (X/Y Ammo) in a move's description, it means it consumes X ammo
of which there is a supply of Y initially. For example, Vavel's Pyro Burner
says (50/250 Ammo). This means that Vavel starts each fight with 250 ammo of
Pyro Burner, and each shot consumes 50 (so you can use it five times). Also,
see note about Story Mode ammo amounts.

- Regarding EN (energy), the full bar is 100 units, and it becomes red when
you have 70 units. So "70 or more EN" means "red EN bar", and "100 EN" means
"flashing EN bar". Each step you take refills exactly 1 EN, and hitting your
 opponent refills more.

- For the Volgara units, keep in mind that, although they don't stay in a
different pose after Grand Charging, they ARE considered to be charged until
they do anything, so you can execute any move that needs a charge afterwards.
This is particularly important with Centurion's Assault Knuckle, which
(unlike all other specials which can be buffered) won't come out if it's
command is input _during_ the charge. In other words, you must do if _after_
 the charge.

- I always use a Tekken-like notation for every movelist I write, be it for a
beat-em up, a RPG, a shooter or whatever. You might not like it, but I'm not
interested in hearing any of it; you can be my guest and download a
different FAQ. Or you can actually spend five minutes checking the "legend"
 section.

| - Valdol - |
------------

Valdol behaves exactly as Vavel, with only three differences:
- Its stock of Pyro Burner and Valdol Missile ammo is reduced to 150 and 4,
  respectively.
- It (physically) lacks a Gigantic Booster, so obviously it can't use it.
- It can't use Genesis Mode in VS mode, even when Ultimate Modes are
unlocked for all other Kijin. Instead, he is stuck with Volcanic Mode
  (damn).
Everything else remains the same.

- For the time being, I'm only including the buyable moves, and only their
price (not their Katakana, etc), since it's meant as an addendum for the
move list. Tough it out. I might do a more complete list it in the future
if I'm in the mood, but don't hold your breath.

- For IwaKutsuJin Barou's Meteo Dive, Dantarion's walking Gather Energy
and Horn Uppercut, and Vorgala units' Phantom System Teleport, Taunt
  and non-walking Gather Energy.
- Also for pointing out that AnkokuJin Brou does not have a Waist Spin
Hook, unlike what I listed; and that Guardian does indeed have a
difference: its laser is three times as fast, 30% more powerful, and
  knocks down.

- Please don't hesitate to send me any move you discover that isn't
mentioned in the FAQ, especially for the Volgara units (which don't have a
movelist in the game). After discovering that the Guardian is indeed
better in some ways to the regular Harrier (thanks to BiggieY2Killer) I
have a hunch that Siren will have something different as well.
You can contact me at <de_lucas#yahoo.com>. Replace the # with a @ (this
is to avoid advertising mail adresses auto-parsers, if you're wondering).

- On the other hand, DON'T send me any moves for the last boss (Asmodai). I
want to make the list myself when I get him.
