Only 3 players left to add to the list of players, its not in order
like before, but that doesn't really matter. The players left to go
are Sarpong, Vertonghen and Schilder. I also did my team formation,

Introduction
============================

Hello and welcome to my third FAQ on Ajax, this time for Pro
Evolution Soccer 2008. Last season didn't bring Ajax anything, no price
at all. Ajax managed to reach the quarter finals of the Dutch cup, the
KNVB Beker, but was knocked out in the quarter finals. Ajax managed to
place 2nd in the Eredivisie behind PSV. In the play-offs for a ticket to
the Champions League Ajax had to take on SC Heerenveen in the first round.
Ajax won both matches easily and found FC Twente to be their last obstacle
for a ticket to the Champions League. This however did not go as planned.
FC Twente beat Ajax 1-0 at home, and kept a clean sheet in the Amsterdam
Arena, 0-0. So now, for the third time in a row, Ajax is condemned to yet
another year in the UEFA Cup, which will make it all the harder to keep
players like Huntelaar from leaving and skilled players from coming to
Amsterdam.

On march 18th 1900 Han and his brother Johan Dade started a club
named Ajax. Here starts the history tour of Ajax, one of the most

TEAM FORMATION
============================

Ajax usually plays a 4-3-3 system with the point towards goal, this
means an AMF (attacking midfielder) that plays just behind the CF
(Central Forward). A strategy that works for me is to put a player
with high balance stats in the point, because this player should be
free to pass at from almost any position and be able to connect with
the forwards. This strategy still works best for me, I've tried a
bunch of other strategies, playing with 4-4-2 in all sorts of way,
but this always comes back.

I'll show you what my team looks like when playing with Ajax.

Stekelenburg is still the best keeper in the team, without a doubt. Heitinga
and stam provide a solid defence, I made Stam a CB because he wins a lot of
aerial duels. Vermaelen en Emanuelson as LB and RB, because they're pretty
fast, and Emanuelson has a good pass so he can move forward and reach the
midfielders. With Vermaelen I wasn't really sure, I was thinking of putting
Vertonghen there, but Vermaelen has a better defence and body balance and
is stronger in the air. Maduro because he is by far the best player for that
position, better than Lindenbergh or any of those new kids Donald or Anita.
Gabri and Davids are also the only choice you have for those positions, you
could also place Luque there, but I think he has qualities that make him
useful in a forward position. Rommedahl and Luque as SS, they're both fast
and have a good pass, Luque also has a great shot. So if you get past your
direct opponent you can fire a good shot at the goal. I put Leonardo as CF
because I think he is much better than Huntelaar. After playing with
Huntelaar I was desperate for something new on that position, and Leonardo
proved to be a good solution. He has a lot more technique and its easier
to keep a hold of the ball and manoeuvre than it is with Huntelaar.
