About Me:

Hello, everyone. My name is David DeGregorio and I am a sophomore in
college. I have just recently decided to start writing FAQ's for my
favorite games. This is my seventh FAQ to date. If you would like to
read any of my other FAQs, just click on my username on the previous
page and you will see all of my FAQs.

Prince Of Persia: The Two Thrones was an amazing sequel in many
regards. It fixed many of the problems of the first two games while
still retaining the same great graphics and platforming. After my last
guide on Warrior Within, The Two Thrones is a perfect candidate for a
new FAQ.

I have done my best to make sure there are no errors in the FAQ. If you
find any, let me know and I will update as soon as I possibly can (and
I'm not busy usually so it won't take long). Also, if you have any
questions, comments, concerns, etc. just email me and I will email
back. I check my email every day. Thank you. Now let's get this FAQ
underway.

As usual, I will refrain from using spoilers in this guide. I don't
believe in spoilers. They ruin the story for you, the gamer, and take
away from the experience. So, yeah, no spoilers will be included in any
of my guides. If you see something that looks like a spoiler, please
let me know and I will edit that part or take it out completely. Thank

Getting Started:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

First of all, you will need a copy of The Two Thrones. This guide is
for the PS2 version of the game. Buy it, rent it, or borrow it from a
friend if you have to, however you will need the game to use this
guide.

Pop the disc into your PS2 and you're ready to go. You are in control
of the Prince of Persia. He has gotten stronger and gained some new
moves since the last game.

Walkthrough:

  Arriving At Babylon's Shore:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

After the opening scene, you gain control of the Prince. This first
part is essentially a tutorial on how to control the Prince. Walk
forward and press x to roll through the small opening. In the next area
there is fire blocking your path. Turn right and walk around the fire.

Turn left and walk until you reach a dead end. Turn left and press X to
jump up and grab the box. Pull yourself up and turn left again. Walk
forward and jump the gap. Jump the next gap and turn left. Jump the
next gap and turn left once more time.

Run along the wall to reach the next platform. Turn right and run up
the wall to grab a groove in the wall. Shimmy to the left and turn the
corner. When you can't go any further press circle to drop down to the
platform beneath you. Turn left and drop down to the platform below.
There should be a ladder in front of you. Slide down the ladder and
walk forward.

Turn right and enter the next room. Walk forward and climb the column
as far as it lets you. At this point, the camera angle will change and
you will see another column. Jump to that column and climb as far as
you can. Jump back to the first column and climb to the top. Look to
your left and you will see a platform that you can jump to. Jump to the
platform and turn right.

Walk forward and climb up to the next level. Turn right and push
against the railing to jump over and hang from it. Jump to the column
behind you and climb to the top. Jump to the groove in the wall and
shimmy to the right. Drop down to the platform below.

Turn around and run along the wall to reach a small ledge. Jump up and
grab the groove in the wall. Shimmy to the left and pull yourself up.
Jump down and save your game at the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Ramparts:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Turn left and run down the ramp. Follow the path to the right and climb
the ladder. Turn right and walk into the house. You will finally
receive a weapon, although it is only a fisherman's knife. After the
scene, you will be prompted to make a speed kill. A speed kill is
basically when you kill an enemy stealthily, without alerting other
guards.

Press triangle to initiate a speed kill and press the onscreen buttons
to kill the enemy. After you kill the first soldier, turn right and
hang off the railing. Jump to the column behind you and slide down to
the lower level. Kill the next guard and walk forward.

Turn right and jump the gap. Jump up and grab the groove in the wall.
Shimmy to the right as far as you can and pull yourself up. Jump up and
grab the groove above. Shimmy to right until you can't go any further.
Drop down to the ledge below and sidestep right as far as you can.

Jump to the platform on the right and slide down the ladder. Kill the
next guard and take his weapon. Follow the path around and run down the
ramp. Drop down to the level below and take out the next guard. Walk
forward and turn right. Walk through the archway and follow the path as
it curves to the right.

Run along the left wall and jump at the end to reach a small ledge.
Pull yourself up and shimmy left. Jump to the ledge above and shimmy to
the left. Pull yourself up and turn left. Climb the long ladder to the
top. Walk forward and run up the wall in front of you. Go through the
window and drop down to the platform.

Watch the scene and turn left. Run along the wall until you reach the
curtain. The Prince will automatically slide down it. Turn around and
walk forward. The door from the scene is locked, so we will have to
take the long way around. Continue forward and kill the guards here.
Blocking helps if you are on higher difficulties.

When they are dead, continue forward and turn left into another room.
Climb the ladder to the top and jump to the ladder behind you. Tilt the
analog stick left or right to flip around to the other side of the
ladder. Climb to the top of the ladder.

Turn right and run up the wall. At the peak of your run, jump to the
ledge behind you. Shimmy to the left until you are lined up with the
ladder on the right. Jump to the ladder and climb to the top. Walk
forward and drop down to the platform below. Turn left and walk
forward.

When you get to the wall, walk to the left side and jump up. You will
grab a small ledge. Pull yourself up and jump to the top of the wall.
Run along the wall to reach another ledge. Drop down and kill the
archer. Walk forward and slide down the ladder.

Walk forward and kill the guard. There is another archer further down
the hallway. Take it out and turn left. Go through the doorway and walk
forward. Climb the ladder and drop down to the next area. Save your
game at the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Harbor District:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Turn left and walk across the wooden walkway. Run along the left wall
and jump to the next walkway. Walk to the end of the walkway and move
close to the wall. You should be able to sidle onto the small ledge
here. Shimmy to the right until you are blocked by the wall, then press
circle to hang from the ledge. Shimmy to the right and turn the corner.
Shimmy to the right some more until you can pull yourself up again.

Shimmy to the right until you reach the next platform. Turn right and
walk across the beam until you reach the wall. Shimmy to the right and
go around the corner. Walk to the end of the next beam and jump to the
platform. Turn left and roll through the small opening.

Go forward and walk to the end of the small beam. Jump to the next beam
and hang from it. Drop down to the beam below. If you want, you can
kill the guards below with a speed kill, although I find it easier to
just drop to the floor and kill them. Take out the guards and walk
forward. Enter the small alcove on the right.

Run up the wall and jump to reach a beam. Jump up and grab the beam
above. Pull yourself up. Walk left until you reach solid ground. Walk
forward and jump to the beam in front of you. Pull yourself up and walk
to the end of the small beam.

Jump to the gap between the two walls. Slide down to the bottom and
press circle to drop to the floor. Take out the guards here and walk
forward. Turn right and jump to the beam. Walk right until you reach
the wall. Jump forward to the next beam. Walk left until you reach the
end of the beam.

Turn the camera to the left so that you can see a gap between two
walls. Jump to it and climb to the top. Hang from the platform on the
right and pull yourself up. Walk forward and jump to the next beam.
Walk to the end of the small beam and jump to the wall gap. Slide to
the bottom and drop down to the floor.

Kill the guard and walk up the small staircase. Go forward and jump to
the beam in the middle of the area. Drop to the ground and kill two
more guards. When they're dead, climb up the ladder where the archer
was. Turn right and walk across the beam. Jump to the platform ahead.

Walk forward and kill the archer. Walk to the end of the hall and roll
through the small opening. Go around the corner and save your game at
the fountain.

  The Streets Of Babylon:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Walk forward until you reach the railing. Turn right and run up the
wall. Pull yourself up and turn left. Run along the right wall and jump
to the beam on the left. Drop to the ground and kill the guards. Run
along the left wall to reach another beam. Walk to the end of the beam
and jump to the platform.

Follow the path until you reach a dead end. Run up the wall on the
right and jump from wall to wall to reach a small ledge at the top.
Jump to the ledge on the right. Jump up and grab the ledge above. Pull
yourself up and shimmy to the right until you reach the next platform.

Turn right and climb up to the platform above. Turn right and walk
across the beam. Turn left and jump from beam to beam until you reach
the next platform. Walk forward and hang over the railing. Drop down to
the floor below and take out the guards.

Follow the path until you get to another beam. Walk to the end of it
and jump to the groove in the wall. Shimmy to the left until you reach
another small beam. Pull yourself up and jump to the beam in the
distance. Walk to the end of it and jump to the next hallway.

Follow the hallway until you reach a pit. Run along the right wall and
jump to the beam on the left. Jump to the wall on the right and rebound
to reach the higher beam. Walk to the end of the beam and jump the gap
to reach solid ground again. Walk forward and save your game at the
fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Palace Balcony:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Turn left and walk forward. Turn right and hop over the railing. Run
along the left wall and jump to the balcony on the right. Follow the
balcony and turn right into the hall. Kill the guards here, walk to the
end of the hall, and turn right. Kill some more guards. Walk to the far
side of the room and turn left.

Climb onto the little pedestal here. Run up the wall and press square
to plunge your dagger into the dagger plate. Jump up and hang from the
higher dagger plate. Jump to the balcony behind you. Turn right and
walk to the end of the balcony. Run along the left wall and jump when
you reach the shutter to reach another balcony.


Walk left and step on the floor switch. A door will open at the end of
the hall. Go through the door before it closes. Walk to the right side
of the room and climb on the table. Run along the right wall and press
square to hang from the dagger plate. Drop down to the beam below you.
Walk to the end of the beam and jump to another dagger plate.

Drop down to the floor and kill another guard. Climb up the column on
the right as far as you can go. Jump to the small beam on the right and
pull yourself up. Jump to the balcony in front of you. Turn right and
walk forward. Kill the archer here.

Walk to the railing and hang from it. Jump to the beam behind you. Drop
down to the floor and kill the guard. Turn around and walk to the end
of the hall. Turn right and destroy the furniture that's blocking the
door. Walk forward and climb up to the higher platform. Kill the guard.

Turn left and walk to the wall. You should see dagger plates on this
wall. Run up the wall and hang from the first plate. Jump up to the
next dagger plate. Now you have to reach a dagger plate to your left.
It seems impossible but there is an easy way to reach it. Hold R1 and
tilt the analog stick to the left. The Prince will use the dagger plate
to gain momentum and start to run along the wall. Plunge your dagger
into the next plate. Run to the left once more and you will reach a
balcony.

Turn left and walk forward until you reach the wall. Turn left again.
You will see another table here. Climb onto the table. Run along the
right wall and press x when you reach the shutter. You will land on an
archer and a speed kill sequence will start. Kill the archer and walk
to the left side of the balcony. Run up the wall and jump at the peak
of your run to reach another beam.

Pull yourself up and jump to the beam behind you. Walk to the end of
the beam and jump to the narrow ledge below the railing. Jump up and
climb over the railing to reach another balcony. Turn right and break
through the barricade of furniture. Kill the guards and turn left. Walk
to the end of the hall and turn left again.

Walk forward and enter the next room. Walk forward and turn left. Climb
onto the small platform. Run up the wall and hang from the dagger
plate. Run to the right to reach a ledge. Shimmy to the right until you
reach an opening in the rail. As you go, you will see Kaileena being
dragged by those same guards. Climb up onto the balcony, turn left, and
run after the guards.

Unfortunately, the guards elude you once more. They will disappear
behind a door that you can't open. Walk to the door and turn left. Walk
forward and you will see a button on the wall. This opens a different
door above the balcony. Run up the wall, pressing the button as you do,
and jump to the beam behind you. Walk across the beam and go through
the door that you just opened. Save your game at the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Palace:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~

Turn right and look down the next hall. The tiny holes in the floor
aren't just for decoration. As soon as you step over them, spikes will
pop out of the floor and try to skewer you. Run down the hall and the
spikes will just miss you. Turn left at the end of the hall.

Walk forward and roll past the rotating blade. Wait for the spiked log
to rotate onto its safe side and run up the wall. Hop over the railing
and walk forward. When the rotating blade is almost fully retracted
into the wall, run along the wall, past the blade, and jump to the
corridor on the left.

Wait for the log to rotate onto its safe side then run along the wall
and use the shutter to reach the next hallway. Wait for the next spiked
log to rotate to its safe side, then run past the floor spikes and run
up the wall. Roll past two more blades and you are done with traps for
a while.

Go forward and rotate the lever to open a ceiling panel above you. Turn
around and look to your left. There is a brown thing on the wall. This
is actually a lever. It works a lot like a dagger plate. Simply run up
the wall and press square to plunge your dagger in to the lever.

After you pull the lever, a block will extend behind the Prince. Jump
to the block and run up the wall to reach a small ledge. (Be quick
about it because the block will start to retract into the wall.) Pull
yourself onto the ledge. Jump up and grab the ledge above. Pull
yourself up and walk forward. Turn left and walk to the next fountain.
Save your game.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Throne Room:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Turn right and walk to the swan statue. Climb onto the flat platform
behind it. Run up the wall and hang from the dagger plate. Run to the
right to reach another platform. Run along the left wall and use the
shutter to reach another platform. Kill the archer here.

Turn right and run along the wall to reach another platform. Run up the
wall to reach a higher platform. Turn right and run along the left
wall. Use the shutter to reach a small ledge. Jump up and hang from the
dagger plate. Jump to the groove in the wall behind you.

Shimmy to the right until you are hanging from a beam. Pull yourself up
and walk to the right. Walk to the end of the short beam. Jump to the
gap between the walls and slide down to the bottom. Drop to the ground
and kill the archer. Run up the wall on the right to reach a small
ledge. Pull yourself up.

Shimmy to the right and jump up to the dagger plate. Run to the right
and jump to the ledge on the right. Shimmy to the left and jump to the
column. Slide down to the ground. Turn around and walk to the stairs.
There is an archer at the top of the stairs. You can kill it if you
want.

When you're ready, walk past the stairs and kill the two guards. Walk
to the doorway behind the guards and a scene will take over.

After the scene you will gain the power to rewind time which is
extremely helpful. Hold L1 at any time to rewind time. This takes a lot
of the frustration out of platforming and traps. You will regain
control of the Prince now. Walk into the room and turn right. Follow
the hall until you reach a locked door. (Make sure you run down the
final hallway because it will fall underneath your weight.)

Turn around and you will see a button on the wall. Run up the wall to
press the button and run through the door before it closes. Quickly run
forward and jump across the gap. Run down the hall before it collapses
and turn left. When you get to the large gap, turn right.

Run up the wall and hang from the dagger plate. Run to the left and
hang from the next dagger plate. Run to the left again to reach another
platform. Turn left and run along the wall to reach a banner. Slide
down it and land on a balcony. This will also collapse so run into the
hallway. Save your game at the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Trapped Hallway:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Turn right and walk down the hallway. There are a few traps here but
they aren't that bad. For most of the traps, wait for the spiked logs
to rotate onto their safe sides and roll past the spiked poles. When
you have passed all the traps, you will be at the top of a large
staircase.

Once you reach the top of the staircase, turn right and you will see
another button on the wall. Run up the wall and press the button. This
opens a door at the bottom of the staircase. Run down the staircase and
go through the door. You are now in a large room. Walk to the column in
the far right corner. (Be careful. The floor in the center of the room
will collapse.)

This column is the only one you can climb. Climb to the top and jump to
the next column. Climb to the top and jump to another column. Climb to
the top of this column and jump to the ledge on the left wall. Pull
yourself up and shimmy to the right as far as you can. Jump up and grab
the ledge above.

Shimmy to the right as far as you can. Jump to the column behind you.
Quickly jump to the dagger plate on the wall. Run to the right to reach
another dagger plate. Run to the right again to reach a third dagger
plate. Jump to the column behind the prince. Quickly jump to the next
column.

Jump to the small beam on the left. Jump to the small opening and take
a breather. Jump to the banner and slide down. Before you reach the
bottom, jump backwards to the gap between the walls. Slide down the gap
and drop to the ground. Save your game at the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Ruined Palace:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Turn left and walk through the archway. Walk down the hallway and you
will encounter some more traps. For the first trap, wait for either log
to rotate onto its safe side and then roll past the spiked pole. For
the next trap, wait for all three logs to rotate to their safe sides
and then run past. The last trap is just three spiked poles. Stand on
the left side and wait for the first pole to move right. Run past all
three poles and then run down the hallway before the floor crumbles
under your weight.

Turn left and walk through the door. Walk forward and jump the gap.
Turn left and walk to the end of the path. Turn left and jump the next
gap. Kill the guard and climb onto the small platform. Jump to the wall
and you will land on a small ledge. Shimmy to the left and take out
some more guards. Walk into the small alcove on the right. Smash the
chest for 10 sand credits.

Turn around and exit the alcove. Walk to the wall opposite the alcove
and look to the left. There are two small ledges that you can climb up.
Climb up the ledges. Jump up and grab the ledge above. Pull yourself up
and take out the guard here.

Turn around and climb onto the higher platform. Jump to the dagger
plate in the wall. Jump up to the next dagger plate and then jump up to
the ledge above. Pull yourself up and shimmy to the right. When you
reach the platform, turn left and jump the gap to the next platform.
Run along the right wall and use the shutter to reach another ledge.
Shimmy to the left and walk through the door. Save your game at the
fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Royal Chambers:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Walk forward and step on the switch to open the door. Follow the hall
until a scene takes over. After the scene, save your game at the
fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Sewers:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~

Walk forward and jump to the pole. Hold R1 to swing on the pole. While
swinging, press X to leap forward. Jump from pole to pole until you
reach solid ground. Turn left and walk to the end of the path. Jump to
the pole on the right side of the pit. Shimmy along the pole to the
left until you reach the other side of the pit.

Drop to the ground and walk up the stairs. Jump to the next pole and
swing to the groove in the wall. Shimmy to the left until you reach the
gap between walls. Slide down the gap and drop down to the ground. Walk
into the middle of the circle of light.

Enemies will attack you now and you can only kill them in the light.
Kill all of the enemies. When they're dead, walk to the end of the hall
and you will see a dagger switch. Run up the wall and activate the
switch. This opens a chute below you. Drop down into the chute and
slide to the bottom.

Jump to the pole behind you. Drop down from pole to pole until you
reach the floor. Turn around and walk to the other end of the room.
There is a platform above the water here. Walk onto it and turn left.
Run up the wall and hang from the dagger plate. Jump up to the higher
dagger plate.

Jump to the ledge behind you. Shimmy to the left and jump to the column
behind the Prince. This opens a door below. Slide down the column and
walk through the door. Walk to the end of the beam and jump to the gap
between the walls. Slide down to the bottom. Drop down to the ground
below.

Follow the flow of water, walk through the waterfall, and drop down to
the platform below. Walk to the end of the path and turn left. Jump to
the ledge and shimmy to the right. Jump to the ledge above and pull
yourself up. Shimmy to the right again and jump up to the groove in the
wall.

Jump to the column behind you and it will lower. Slide down the column
and jump to the pole on the other side of the column. In front of you
is a moving section of the wall that has a dagger plate on it. Wait for
the wall section to move backwards and swing forwards. Run up the wall
and hang from the dagger plate.

Wait for the wall to extend fully and run to the left. You will reach a
platform. Turn left and run along the right wall. You will reach a gap
between walls. Slide down to the bottom and drop to the ground. Walk
forward and watch the scene.

You are now the Dark Prince. You have some new moves but your health
meter constantly depletes. In order to regain health, you must gather
sand from destroyed objects or slain enemies. Enemies will start to
appear out of nowhere. You can kill a few if you want but you don't
have to. Walk towards the white block and hold triangle.

The Dark Prince will pull out the block and a door will open. Run
through the open door. Walk to the end of the beam and jump to the beam
ahead. Jump to the column in front of you and slide down to the ground.
Kill the enemies that appear (for health) and walk down the foggy path.

At the end of the path, turn right and walk forward. In front of you is
a pit. There is a bar hanging overhead that you can't reach. Jump and
press triangle to swing from the bar and land on a new platform. Break
the pots for sand and walk to the end of the beam. Jump forward and
swing from two more bars and you will reach a gap between walls.

Slide down to the bottom and drop down to the floor. Kill some more
enemies. Locate the staircase and face in the opposite direction. Walk
forward and pull out another white block. This will open a door at the
top of the stairs. Run up the stairs and roll through the door before
it closes. Break the pots for sand.

Run up the wooden wall in this room and you will grab onto a ledge.
Shimmy to the left and climb up when you can. Jump up and grab the next
ledge. Pull yourself up and break the pots for sand. Turn around and
run along the right wall. You will grab onto a ladder. Climb to the
top.

Walk to the alcove and you will find a dagger switch. Run up the wall
and activate it. Wait for the wall to extend and jump to the pole. Jump
to the next pole and wait for the spiked log to rotate onto its safe
side. Swing to the log and jump from log to wall until you reach the
top. Smash the pots for sand.

Follow the hall to the end and walk to the end of the beam. Jump to the
gap between the walls and slide to the bottom. Drop to the ground and
watch the scene. You are now the regular Prince and don't have to worry
about health dropping any more. Drink water if you are low on health.

Walk to the end of the tunnel and turn right. Jump up and grab the
ledge. Pull yourself up. Jump to the ledge on the right. Jump up and
grab the ledge above you. Pull yourself up and shimmy to the left. Wait
for the moving section of the wall to lower and jump to the dagger
plate.

Wait for the wall section to rise and run to the left. Walk down the
hall until you reach a section with a circle of sunlight. Defeat the
enemies here and walk to the next light circle. Kill some more enemies.

Walk to the third light circle and turn left. Activate the dagger
switch and run through the door before it closes.

Turn left and go through the curtain. Walk forward and jump the gap to
the next platform. Turn right and jump the next gap. Walk to the end of
the beam. Jump from beam to beam until you reach the next platform.
Turn right and walk to the end of the beam. Jump to the next beam and
turn left. Walk to the end of the beam and jump to the next platform.
Drink from the fountain and you will be transported to a secret area.

Roll past the rotating blades and walk onto the beam. Hang from the
beam and shimmy to the end to avoid being hit by arrows. When you reach
the end of the beam, pull yourself up. Jump to the next beam, timing
your jump to avoid the spinning blades. Roll past the next blade and
the floor spikes and you will receive Life Upgrade number 1.

You will be transported back to the fountain which is now broken.
Return to the curtain-covered door and turn right. Roll past the
rotating blades and save your game at the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Tunnels:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~

Walk down the tunnel until you reach a pit. Run along the left wall and
jump to the platform on the right. Turn left. Run along the right wall
and you will reach a ladder. Climb to the top and jump to the ledge
behind you. Jump up and hang from the ledge above you. Wait for the
arrows to shoot out and then pull yourself up.

Quickly jump to the ledge behind you. Hang from this ledge until the
arrows shoot out and then pull yourself up. Jump up and grab the ledge
above. Pull yourself up and you are out of this pit. Turn right and
jump across the gap. Walk forward, jump across the next gap, and kill
the archers.

Find the wall with the ledge sticking out of it. Run up the wall and
grab the ledge. Pull yourself up and shimmy to the right. Jump up and
grab the groove in the wall. Shimmy to the right as far as you can.
Drop down to the ledge below and quickly shimmy to the right. Jump up
and grab the groove in the wall.

Jump to the ledge behind you and shimmy to the right. Jump up and grab
the groove in the wall. Shimmy to the right as far as you can. Drop
down to the ledge below you and quickly shimmy to the right. Jump up
and grab the ledge above you. Pull yourself up and jump to the ledge
behind you.

Shimmy to the right. Jump up and grab the ledge above you. Pull
yourself up and shimmy to the right. Wait for the arrows to shoot out
and jump up to the ledge above you. Pull yourself up before the arrows
shoot again. Wait for the arrows to shoot out again and jump up to the
ledge above you. Shimmy to the right before you are shot.

Pull yourself up. Climb up the next two ledges before they retract into
the wall. Shimmy to the right and climb up through the opening in the
railing. Walk forward for a scene. After the scene, save your game at
the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Fortress:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Go to the opening in the railing and drop down into the gap. Slide down
to the bottom and drop to the ground. Take out the guards here. It is
better to speed kill the guards so they don't call for reinforcements.
Once all the guards are dead, walk to the Sand Gate and the Prince will
automatically deactivate it. You will gain a new sand tank for doing
this.

Walk over to the left side of the platform and you will see a gap in
the railing. Wait for the spiked log to rotate onto its safe side. Run
along the left wall, over the log, and jump to the pole. Swing to the
next pole and jump to the platform. Kill the guard here.

Look down below and you should see a couple enemies standing guard.
Above them, a long chain is hanging down. It is hard to see unless you
look closely but it is there. Jump to the chain and slide down to the
bottom. Drop down and kill the guards. Walk around the area and kill
the archer that is patrolling. Return to where the chain was.

In the corner of this area is a wooden platform. Run up the wall, grab
the edge of the platform, and pull yourself up. Look up at the wall and
you will see dagger plates here. Run up the wall and hang from the
first plate. Jump to the higher dagger plate. Run to the left and hang
from another plate.

Run to the left again and use the two shutters to reach a ledge. Drop
down to the platform below and turn around. Walk forward and run up the
wall to reach a ledge. Pull yourself up and wait for the guard to walk
away. Hop onto the balcony and kill the guard and the archer.

Rotate the lever counter-clockwise until it clanks into place. Walk
over to the gap in the railing and wait for the spiked log to rotate
onto its safe side. Run along the left wall to reach another platform.
Watch the scene.

Turn right and run along the left wall. Press triangle when you reach
the torch to extend your wall run. When you get to the next platform,
walk to the right end and you will see a bar hanging above. Use it to
swing to the next platform. Drop down to the platform below and kill
the archer.

Climb back up to the platform you were just on. Run along the left wall
and use your chain to extend your run. At the end of your run, jump to
the chain and slide to the bottom. Drop down to the floor and kill the
enemies. When they are all dead, climb the column in the center of the
area. Jump to the flagpole.

Swing from pole to pole until you reach a dagger switch. Activate the
switch and go through the gate before it closes. Walk into the water
and watch the scene. After the transformation, walk forward and another
scene will take over.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  Chariot Chase:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

After the scene, you will be in control of a chariot. They are simple
to control but dangerous. Use the left analog stick to turn left and
right. Press square to attack any enemies. Be careful though: if you
run into anything that's not an enemy, you will die. Your recall power
comes in handy here.

Follow the path until you are assaulted by an enemy chariot. Do your
best to ram it into a wall without ramming into a wall yourself. I find
it easy to keep it at bay until you reach the arch and then just ram it
into the side of the archway.

When you reach the fork, take the right path and fend of the enemies.
Go left at the next fork and keep fending off those pesky enemies. You
can take either road at the last fork. At the end of this chariot
sequence you will have to fight another chariot. Just keep it at bay
until the scene takes over.

Go to the Prince's left and go around the corner to the left. Run up
the wall and grab the ledge. Pull yourself up and jump up to the next
ledge. Pull yourself up and shimmy to the left. Jump to the ledge
behind you. Jump up and grab the edge of the platform. Pull yourself up
and walk forward.

Turn left and climb to the top of the ladder. Jump to the ledge behind
you. Jump up and grab the groove in the wall. Jump to the higher ladder
behind you. Climb to the top. Turn right and walk through the doorway.
Walk to the end of the path and hang over the side of the railing.

Jump to the ladder behind you and climb to the top. Jump to the ledge
behind you and shimmy to the left. Jump to the ladder behind you and
climb to the top. Jump to the railing behind you and hop over it onto
the platform. Turn left and follow the hall to the end. You will emerge
onto a large platform. Save your game at the fountain on the left.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~
  Lower City:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~

Walk forward and walk to the end of the beam. Jump to the next beam and
turn right. Walk to the end of the beam and jump to the ledge. Shimmy
to the right as far as you can. Hang from the ledge and drop down to
the groove in the wall. Drop down to the ledge below and shimmy to the
right.

Walk to the end of the beam and jump to the next beam. Walk forward to
the platform. Turn left and walk forward. Turn left again and walk to
the gap in the railing. Run along the right wall and use the shutter to
land on the railing of a balcony. Instead of fighting the guards on the
balcony, it is best to just drop down to the dagger plate below you.

Drop down and kill the two guards. Follow the walkway under the balcony
and turn right. Walk forward and turn left. Walk to the end of the beam
and jump to the pole. Swing to the gap between the walls and slide to
the bottom. Drop down to the ground and kill the guards here. When they
are all dead, walk to the Sand Gate and deactivate it. You will gain
100 sand credits.

Go under the archway next to the Sand Gate and turn left. Walk forward
and kill the two guards. Climb onto the small platform to the left of
the large door. Run up the wall and hang from the dagger plate. Run to
the right and you will reach a ledge. Pull yourself up and shimmy to
the right. Go through the large hole in the wall and drop down to the
floor.

Walk forward and watch the scene. Ignore the sand wolves (trust me, you
don't want to waste your time on them) and go down the alley to the
left. When you reach the pit, run along the right wall to get across
it. Walk forward and turn left. Walk forward and jump across the gap.
Walk forward, run up the wall in front of you, and hop over the
railing.

Turn right and jump across the next gap. Watch the next scene. Walk
forward and use the beam to swing across the gap. Run to the end of the
walkway before it collapses. Run along the left wall to reach a pole.
Climb on top of the pole and jump to the walkway above you.

Speed kill the archer here. Run along the left wall and use your whip
to extend your wall-run. Run around the corner to the left and use your
whip to cross the gap. Climb to the top of the ladder and walk forward.
Walk into the pool of water and watch the scene. Go down the stairs and
save your game at the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Lower City Rooftops:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Turn right and walk forward. Jump to the rooftop below you and kill the
archer. Turn left and drop down to the platform below. Kill the next
archer. Run along the right wall and use the two shutters to reach the
next platform. Watch the scene that enfolds.

Follow the walkway to the end, turn left, and jump the gap to the next
rooftop. Run up the door and pull yourself up to the higher rooftop.
Kill the archer here. Turn left, walk forward, and turn right. Jump the
gap to the next rooftop and kill the two archers.

Climb to the higher rooftop and watch the scene. Jump to the lower
rooftop in the distance. Run along the right wall and use the shutter
to reach a chain. Slide to the bottom of the chain. Speed kill the
archer below you and take out the other archer. Go through the doorway
and follow the hall until you reach a pit.

Jump to the ledge on the other side of the pit. Descend the series of
ledges until you reach the floor. Follow the alley until you reach a
dead end. Turn left. Run up the wall to reach a dagger plate. Jump to
the ledge behind you. Climb the series of ledges until you reach the
next rooftop.

Walk forward and turn left. Run along the right wall until you reach a
dagger plate. Drop down to the dagger plate below and then drop to the
ground. Turn left and walk forward. Destroy all of the objects here.
Run up the wall and hang from the dagger plate. Jump to the higher
dagger plate.

Run to the right and activate the dagger switch. This will open two
doors that you can go through. Ignore the closer door for now. Drop to
the ground and run down the ramp to the further door. Roll under the
door before it closes.

Walk forward and hang from the edge of the pit. Drop down to the bottom
ledge and jump to the platform behind you. Drop down the two ledges
until you are in an underground hallway. Walk to the end of the hallway
and climb up the three ledges. Drink from the fountain and you will be
transported to a new location.

Run past the spiked logs when it's safe and walk to the end of the
beam. Wait for the arrows to shoot and then jump to the next beam.
Quickly walk to the intersection of the beams. Wait for the arrows to
shoot again and walk to the end of the beam. Jump to the next beam and
pull yourself up. Walk to the end of this beam.

Wait for the bottom ledge to extend out of the wall and jump to it.
Climb the series of ledges and pull yourself up onto the platform. Walk
into the light and you will receive your second life upgrade. You will
be transported back to the fountain. Make your way back to the door to
this secret area. Turn left and use the dagger switch to open the door.

Walk through the door and go up the ramp. Use the dagger plates to
reach the dagger switch again and activate it. Go through the other
door this time and save your game at the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~
  The Arena:
  ~~~~~~~~~~

Turn right and walk to the end of the long tunnel. Walk into the arena
and watch the scene. Now it's time for a boss fight! It's about time.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
                               Klompa
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
This is quite different from a normal boss fight. In order to damage
this guy, you have to get rid of its sight. If it can't see you, it
can't hurt you. In order to do this, you must find a way to reach its
eyes. At the start of the fight, walk to the right side of the arena,
rolling to avoid Klompa's smash attacks. Walk around the edge of the
arena until you reach a ramp. Walk to the top of the ramp and face
right. Run along the wall to reach the beam and pull yourself up.
Klompa will smash the wall that is in your way. Hey, thanks man. Run
along the wall to reach a platform in the distance. Run up the wall and
hang from the dagger plate. Run to the left and you will reach a
platform. Walk to the end of the beam and press triangle to initiate a
speed kill. Press square when the Prince's dagger flashes and you will
take out one of Klompa's eyes.

Now you have to take out his other eye. Walk around the arena until you
see another ramp. This ramp has a dagger plate above it (just in case
you mistake it for the other one). Walk up the ramp. Run up the wall
and hang from the dagger plate. Run to the right and use the next
dagger plate. Wait for Klompa to destroy the wall in your way and then
run to the right again. Walk to the right a bit. Run up the wall and
hang from the dagger plate. Run to the left to reach a platform. Walk
to the end of the beam and initiate the speed kill. After the speed
kill sequence, Klompa will be blind.

Now that Klompa is blind, we can attack him. He is still dangerous, so
watch out. He will swing his sword wildly around but this can be dodged
by rolling behind him. Make sure you keep your distance when he swings
those massive legs. Get behind Klompa and hack away at his legs.
Slowly, his health bar will deplete. When he is about to die, attack
his legs a final time and he will stand on one leg. Quickly go to the
other leg and slash it. Klompa will fall down and you will go into a
third speed kill sequence. Stab whenever the dagger flashes and Klompa
will go down.

  Arena Tunnel:

Walk forward. Run along either wall to get past the pit. Walk forward
and run up the wall in front of you to reach a ledge. Shimmy to the
left and turn the corner. Jump up to the ledge above you. Jump behind
you and swing from the hanging beam to reach another ledge. Jump up and
grab the next ledge. Pull yourself up onto the platform.

Follow the hallway until you reach another pit. Run past the gray
squares (when you step between them they try to crush you), jump
forward, and swing from the hanging beam to reach a ledge. Wait for the
crusher to retract into the wall and climb the series of ledges. Shimmy
to the left and jump to the beam. Jump to the edge of the platform.
Wait for the crushers to retract and then pull yourself up and run past
them.

Follow the path until you reach another pit. Slide down the ladder to
the bottom. Press triangle to pull out the white block. Jump to the
block and jump to the edge of the platform. Pull yourself up. Destroy
the objects for sand. Jump back to the ladder and slide down to the
bottom. Pull the block out again. Jump to the block and climb back onto
the platform. Run through the doorway before the door closes.

Go to the right and run along the right wall. Use your whip to extend
the wall run. You will reach a ledge on the wall. Shimmy to the left
and jump up to the ledge above. Pull yourself up and shimmy to the
left. Jump to the left and swing from the hanging beam to reach another
ledge.

Jump up to the ledge above you and jump to the beam behind you. Jump to
the next beam and then jump to the platform in the distance. Turn right
and run down the ramp. At the bottom of the ramp enter the room and
turn left. Walk forward and watch the scene. Go down the stairs in
front of you and turn right. Walk through the doorway and watch the
next scene. Save your game at the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Balconies:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Walk over to the right side of the platform. Run along the right wall
and use the shutter to reach the next platform. Take out the archer and
the guard. Climb onto the raised part of the platform. Run along the
left wall and use the shutter to reach another platform. Take out the
archer.

Walk over to the railing and hang over the side of it. Jump to the
railing behind you. Hop over to the next balcony. Turn left, walk to
the end of the balcony and kill the archer. Walk forward, hop over the
railing, and drop down to the platform below.

Walk forward. Run up the wall ahead and hang from the dagger plate. Run
left to reach another dagger plate. Run left again to reach a third
dagger plate. Run left one more time and jump to reach a chain. Slide
down the chain to the bottom and speed kill the guard. Walk to the end
of the beam and jump to the next chain. Slide down to the bottom.

Drop to the ground and kill the two guards. Hop over the railing and
drop to the ground. Walk over to the Sand Gate and kill all of the
guards. When they're all dead, walk to the Sand Gate and deactivate it.
You will gain the Eye of the Storm power. This is a fancy title for the
ability to slow down time.

Return to the railing you hopped over moments ago. Run up the wall and
return to the upper level. Turn left and follow the path until you
reach a staircase. At the top of the stairs are two archers and two
guards. Slow down time and kill the first archers. After that, it
shouldn't be too hard to take out the rest of the enemies.

Once they are dead, locate the large opening in the wall on the left.
Opposite this large opening, on the wall, is a switch. Run up the wall
and press the switch. This opens a door on the lower level. Slow down
time and run through the door before it closes. Walk down the stairs
and roll underneath the wooden boards. Turn left and save your game at
the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Dark Alley:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Walk forward and turn left. Run up the wall and jump from wall to wall
until you reach a dagger plate. Run to the right to reach a platform.
Turn right and go through the doorway. Walk forward. Jump up and grab
the ledge. Pull yourself up and climb the ladder to the top. Go to the
end of the wooden walkway and drop down to the rooftop below.

Walk forward and hop over the railing to the rooftop below. Kill the
archer here. Turn right and walk forward. Jump the gap here and kill
the archer. Walk forward, run up the wall, and pull yourself up. Watch
the scene that occurs.

Turn left and walk to the end of the rooftop. Hop over the railing and
kill the guard. Walk forward and run up the wall to reach a dagger
plate. Run to the left to reach a second dagger plate. Run to the left
again and kill the two guards. Walk forward and jump the gap to the </pre><pre id="faqspan-2">
next rooftop. Kill the guards here and watch the scene.

Go through the newly opened doorway and walk forward. Turn left and
walk to the end of the beam. Jump to the gap between the walls and
slide to the bottom. Jump to the dagger plate. Run to the right and
slide down the banner. Walk out of the room and turn left. Walk to the
end of the alley and turn right. Run up the wall and pull yourself up
onto the platform.

Run along the right wall until you reach the banner. Slide down the
banner and, before you reach the bottom, jump to the ledge behind you.
Go through the door and follow the path until you reach a dead end. Run
up the left wall and jump from wall to wall until you reach a ledge.

Shimmy to the left and then walk to the end of the beam. Jump to the
balcony in front of you and follow the path until you reach a pit. Run
along the left wall to reach the other side. Turn left and climb to the
top of the ladder. Turn left again and climb the next ladder. Turn
right and go through the door. Save your game at the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Temple Rooftops:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Walk forward and watch the scene. Drop down to the floor and you will
be attacked by a new type of enemy. These guys are nearly invisible but
you can see their outline at times. I find it best to attack blindly
until you hit them and then just keep attacking. When they're all dead,
walk over to the central statue.

Go to the other side of the statue and you will find a dagger plate on
the wall. Run up the wall and hang from the dagger plate. Jump up and
grab the groove in the wall. Shimmy to the right until you are on the
other side of the statue. Jump to the column behind you and climb to
the top. Jump to the dagger plate on the wall. Run to the right and use
the shutter to reach a column. Watch the scene.

Drop down to the platform below and kill some more enemies. Walk to the
bell and move it (R1 + Left Analog Stick) to the left until it is
underneath a hole in the wall. Climb onto the bell and run up the wall
to reach the hole. Pull yourself up and walk forward. Activate the
dagger switch and watch the scene.

Turn left and run along the right wall to return to the previous ledge.
Roll through the door before it closes. Turn right and jump the gap to
reach a ledge. Shimmy to the right as far as you can. Jump to the
dagger plate behind you. Run to the left to reach another ledge. Shimmy
to the left and jump to the next dagger plate before the ledge
collapses.

Run to the right to reach another ledge. Shimmy to the right. Jump up
and hang from the dagger plate. Jump to the dagger switch behind you
and activate it. Drop down to the new ledge. Shimmy to the left and
pull yourself up. Jump to the ledge behind you and shimmy to the right.
Jump up and grab the ledge above.

Pull yourself up and shimmy to the right. Jump up and grab the groove
in the wall. Shimmy to the right as far as you can. Drop down to the
ledge below and shimmy to the right. Jump to the dagger plate behind
you. Run to the left and jump to the platform on the left. Walk forward
and run up the wall to reach a ledge.

Pull yourself up and jump to the platform behind you. Pull yourself and
walk forward. Slow down time and defeat the three sand wolves. Try to
take them on one at a time so they pose less of a threat. When the
wolves are dead, walk over to the circular pit on the right side of the
area. Climb onto the block of stone.

Run along the left wall and jump to the pole. Swing to the dagger
switch and activate it. This will raise a block in the back of the
area. Run over to the block. Run up the side of it and pull yourself
up. Run along the left wall to reach a wooden platform.

Run along the left wall and jump to the pole. Turn around on the pole
and swing to the top of the wall on the right. Pull yourself up. Look
to the right and you will see a ledge in the distance. Jump to the
ledge and shimmy to the right to reach a platform. Run up the wall and
hang from the dagger plate.

Run to the left and jump to the pole. Swing to the beam in front of
you. Pull yourself up. Jump to the railing in front of you and hop over
it. Break the pots for sand. Go to the side of this balcony and hang
over the railing. Drop down and kill the Sand Gate guards. Once they
are all dead, deactivate the Sand Gate and you will gain a fourth sand
tank.

Find the bell near the deactivated Sand Gate. Push the bell over to the
top left corner of this area (where there is a star symbol on the
ground). Climb onto the bell and run up the wall to reach a dagger
plate. Jump up to the higher dagger plate. Jump up and grab the ledge
above you. Pull yourself up and watch the scene.

Hop over the railing and drop to the ground below. Walk to the other
side of the area and climb onto the small block. Run up the wall and
hang from the dagger plate. Run to the right to reach another dagger
plate. Run to the right again to reach a third plate.

Jump up and grab the top of the wall. Pull yourself up and hang from
the other side of the wall. Drop down to the ground. There are two
handles in this area (one in the center and one on the far right). Walk
to the handle on the far right and turn the handle clockwise. Walk to
the handle in the center and turn it counter-clockwise. Watch the scene
afterwards.

Turn the center handle clockwise and watch the next scene. Return to
where you entered this area. Run up the wall and hang from the top of
it. Pull yourself up, hang from the other side, and drop down to the
ground. Turn left and walk to the wall. Turn right. Run up the wall and
hang from the railing. Hop over the railing and you will find a third
handle.

Turn the handle counter-clockwise and watch the scene. Turn the handle
clockwise and watch the next scene. Hop over the railing and drop to
the ground. Push the bell over to the dagger switch on the wall. Climb
onto the bell and activate the switch. Watch the scene. Activate the
scene again and go through the door before it closes.

Turn right and walk forward. When you get to the pit, walk to the left
side of the walkway and step onto the ledge. Shimmy to the right as far
as you can. Jump to the dagger plate behind you. Run to the left to
reach a platform. Run up the wall to reach another dagger plate. Jump
up and grab the ledge above you. Pull yourself up and shimmy to the
right.

Jump up to the ledge above you and pull yourself up. Shimmy to the
right. Jump to the ledge behind you. Jump to the dagger plate on the
left. Run to the left to reach a ledge. Pull yourself up and follow the
path until you reach a closed door. Save your game at the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Temple:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~

Turn left and activate the dagger switch. Go through the door before it
closes. Go down the stairs and walk out on the balcony. Watch the scene
afterwards. Hang over the railing and jump to the ledge behind you.
Drop down to the beam below. Pull yourself up and jump to the beam in
front of you. Drop down and kill the guard. Kill the sand wolf as well.

Turn right and run along the left wall to reach a platform. Turn right
again. Run along the left wall. When you reach the middle of the wall,
jump and swing from the beams to reach another platform. Turn left. Run
along the right wall and jump to the beam. Jump to the next beam. Drop
down to the platform below and kill the guard. Take out the sand wolves
and walk forward.

Use your whip to pull out the white block. Run along the right wall to
reach the block. Run up the right wall and jump to the platform behind
you. GO through the archway and hang from the edge of the platform.
Pullout the next white block and then jump to it. Pull yourself up and
turn right.

Run along the left wall, use your whip twice to extend your wall run,
and use the two shutters to reach a new platform. Speed kill the guard
here. Go through the archway and speed kill the next guard. Turn right.
Run along the right wall, use the torch to extend your run, and jump at
the end of your run. Swing from the beam to reach a wooden platform.

Turn left. Run along the right wall to reach a gap between the wall and
a statue. Jump forward and swing from the beam to reach another gap.
Slide down the gap and jump towards the ledge. Turn left. Run along the
right wall to the next ledge. Run up the wall and jump to the platform
behind you. Speed kill the guard.

Go through the archway and speed kill the next guard. Turn right and
run along the right wall to reach the banner. Before you reach the
bottom, jump off of the banner and use your whip to swing to the next
banner. Slide down to the floor. Ignore the enemies and walk over to
the door. Step on the floor switch, slow down time, and walk through
the door before it closes.

Wait until time returns to normal. Slow time again and step on the next
floor switch. Follow the path, avoiding the traps as you go, and roll
through the door before it closes. Watch the scene that unfolds.

Turn left and walk over to the handle. Turn the handle counter-
clockwise until it clanks in place. Kill the enemies that appear and
walk back towards the handle. Walk to the diagonal wall to the right of
the handle. Run up this wall and jump to the column. Climb to the top
of the column.

Jump to the next column and climb to the top. Jump to the platform
behind you. Turn around and jump to the lower pole. Pull yourself up
and jump to the pole above you. Turn around and swing to the next pole.
Shimmy to the right and swing to the hole behind the flag. Walk to the
left. Run along the left wall and slide down the banner. Before you
reach the bottom, jump to the second banner and slide to the ground.

Follow the hallway until you reach a fountain. Drink from the fountain
to be transported again. This life upgrade is a lot easier than the
last two. Run along the left wall and use the shutter to reach a
column. Slow down time and jump past the rotating blade to the next
column. Continue doing this until you reach the next walkway. Walk into
the light to receive life upgrade 3.

You will be transported back to the fountain. Turn around and follow
the hallway until you reach the open room. Turn left and run up the
wall. Pull yourself up and walk forward. Step on the floor switch and
walk through the door. You are back in the room with the handle.

Return to the platform higher up in this room. Jump to the lower pole
and jump up to the pole above. Turn around and swing to the next pole.
Jump up to the pole above. Turn around and swing to the next pole.
Swing forward to reach the edge of a platform. Pull yourself up and go
through the doorway. Turn right and turn the handle counter-clockwise.
Go through the door and turn left. Hang from the railing and jump to
the banner behind you. Before you reach the bottom of the banner, jump
to the banner behind you. Slide down to the floor.

Go through the doorway. Activate the dagger switch and go through the
door before it closes. Follow the corridor until you reach a pit. Run
along the right wall to reach a railing. Hop over the railing and walk
forward. Turn right and climb to the top of the ladder. Save your game
at the fountain.

  The Marketplace:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Walk to the right and watch the scene. Turn around and walk up the
stairs. Turn right and walk forward. Go around the corner to the left
and walk down the ramp. Run along the left wall and jump to the ledge.
Shimmy to the right as far as you can. Jump to the gap behind you.
Slide to the bottom and drop to the ground. Kill the enemies here.

Walk to the far side of this area and you will find a box. Pull the box
to the other side of the area and push it onto the floor switch to open
the door. Go through the door and turn left. Follow the path until you
reach a door. Run up the door and hang from the edge of the platform.
Pull yourself up.

Walk to the end of the beam and jump to the column. Slide down to the
floor and kill the enemies. Walk over to the top left corner of this
area and you will find a block. Push the block to the right so that it
is against the two archways. Climb onto the block, jump up, and grab
the top of the wall. Walk to the end of the beam.

Jump to the dagger plate. Run to the right and use the shutters to
reach another dagger plate. Drop to the ground and kill the guards.
Walk over to the dagger switch and activate it. Watch the scene
afterwards.

After the scene, walk to the block on push it onto the floor switch
that it is near. Go to the other floor switch and step on it to open a
door. Slow down time and go through the doorway. Turn right, go through
the doorway, and climb to the top of the ladder.

Run up the wall and hang from the dagger plate. Jump up and grab the
ledge above. Shimmy to the left and pull yourself up. Jump up and grab
the edge of the platform. Pull yourself up and walk forward. Run along
the wall with the shutter and use the shutter to reach a dagger plate.
Run to the right to reach a ledge.

Shimmy to the right and jump to the dagger plate behind you. Run to the
left and jump to the beam. Jump forward to the next beam. Jump to the
dagger plate on the wall. Run to the left and use the shutters to reach
another dagger plate. Run to the left to reach a beam. Jump to the next
dagger plate.

Run to the left to reach a hallway. Follow the hallway until you reach
a fountain. Save your game at the fountain.

  The Market District:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Turn left and walk forward. Turn right and drop down to the ledge
below. Turn left. Run along the right wall and jump to the ledge on the
left. Hang from the ledge and shimmy to the right as far as you can.
Drop down to the dagger plate below. Run to the right to reach another
dagger plate.

Jump up and grab the dagger plate above you. Shimmy to the right and
watch the scene. Shimmy to the right again and pull yourself onto the
ledge. Shimmy to the right and walk to the end of the beam. Jump to the
gap between the walls and slide to the bottom. Drop to the ground and
take out the guards.

Walk forward and look on the right wall. You should see a dagger switch
there. Activate the dagger switch, slow down time, and run through the
door before it closes. Follow the hallway until you reach a door. Run
up the door and hang from the edge of the platform. Pull yourself up
and walk to the end of the beam. Jump to the next beam.

Walk to the end of the beam and jump to the dagger plate. Run to the
left to reach another dagger plate. Speed kill the guard below and take
out the rest of the Sand Gate guards. Deactivate the sand gate and you
will gain 150 sand credits.

Walk to the left side of the area and pull out the box under the pile
of boxes. Watch the scene that unfolds. Push the box to the right so
that it is under the dagger switch. Activate the dagger switch, slow
down time, and run through the door before it closes.

Follow the path until you reach a dead end. Turn right and climb the
ladder to the top. Follow the hall until you reach a pit. Run along the
right wall and use the shutters to reach a new platform. Watch the
scene.

Go up the stairs and save your game at the fountain.

  The Bowery:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~

Turn right and walk forward. Run along the left wall and jump to the
ledge on the right. Pull yourself up and jump to the groove in the
wall. Shimmy to the left and hop over the railing. Kill the archer here
and walk to the other railing. Jump to the beam behind you.

Jump to the groove in the wall and shimmy to the right. Drop down to
the wooden walkway below. Head to the other side of the balcony. Watch
the scene that unfolds. Hang over the railing in front of you. Jump
towards the hanging beam behind you and swing from the beam to reach a
ledge. Drop down to the ground.

Kill all of the enemies and go to the door you saw Farah go into. Turn
around and walk towards the wall. Run up the right side of the wall to
reach a ledge. Pull yourself up. Jump behind you and swing from the
hanging beam to reach a short beam. Jump forward to the railing and hop
over it.

Turn right and walk through the doorway. Run up the wall and press the
button. Slow down time and run through the door before it closes. Turn
left and hang over the railing. Line yourself up with the banner and
slide down to the floor. Kill all of the enemies here and walk to the
mirror on the opposite side of the room.

There is a column very close to the mirror. Climb to the top of the
column and jump to the stone column in the center of the room. You will
reach a small ledge on the column. Shimmy to the left and pull yourself
up. Jump up to the ledge above and pull yourself up. Jump to the
balcony behind you and kill the archer.

Turn left and run along the right wall to reach another platform.
Follow the balcony, killing any enemies that appear. When you reach the
end of the balcony, run along the right wall to reach a new platform.
Kill the archer and then go through the doorway. Walk to the far left
corner. Run up the wall and jump from wall to wall to reach a balcony.

Walk through the archway and turn right. Go to the handle and turn it
counter-clockwise to lower a hanging beam. Walk to the left side of
this balcony. Run along the left wall, jump when reach the middle of
the wall, and swing from the hanging beam to reach a platform. Turn
left and walk down the hallway.

Turn left, walk through the curtained doorway, and kill the archer. Go
through the door to the right and watch the scene. Turn left, hop over
the railing, and watch the scene. Walk to the other side of the room
and hop over the railing. Turn left, slow down time, and walk past the
traps. At the end of the hallway, run up the wall and hang from the
dagger plate.

Jump up to the ledge above you. Climb the series of ledges until you
reach a railing. Hop over the railing and kill the archer. Walk forward
and kill the next archer. Walk to the end of the alley and watch the
scene. Run up the wall in front of you and hop over the railing. Walk
forward and save your game at the fountain.

  The Brothel:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~

Turn right and walk forward. Drop down two ledges and watch the scene.

                             Mahasti

This fight will seem hard at first but it isn't that bad. Mahasti's
attacks aren't that varied or devastating. You can block all of her
attacks easily. Start this battle by slowing down time and slashing
away at her. Continue slowing down time and attacking her until the
camera shows a close-up of both fighters. Repeatedly press square to
push her away from you and give you a great opportunity to attack her.
Go back to the strategy of slowing down time and attacking her until a
scene takes over.

Now that you are the dark prince, this battle is much easier. Mahasti
will run away like a coward and you must give chase. Make your way to
the ledge that she is on, killing the enemies as you go. When you reach
the ledge, slow down time and hack away at her until time returns to
normal and she runs away again. Continue chasing after her and
attacking her until her health is almost gone.

Once her health is almost gone, she will return to the original ledge
that you fought her on. Follow her to this ledge. She will resume her
normal fighting pattern from before. Keep fighting her until she
finally dies.

  The Plaza:
  ~~~~~~~~~~

Walk to the left corner of this room and you will find a wooden crate
with a beam sticking out of it. Climb onto the crate and turn right.
Run along the left wall and jump to the balcony on the right. Rotate
the lever clockwise. Drop down to the floor and return to the crate.
Pull the crate to the end of the track in the floor.

Climb onto the crate and then jump to the beam above. Pull yourself up.
Jump towards the wooden portion of the wall and rebound off the wall to
reach a beam above. Pull yourself up and walk to the end of the beam.
Jump to the gap between walls and climb to the top.

Turn around and jump to the beam in front of you. Drop down to the
platform below (with the handle) and kill the guards. Turn the handle
clockwise. Walk to the edge of the platform and jump to the ledge above
the doorway. Drop down to the edge of the open doorway and pull
yourself up. Walk through the door and kill the enemy.

Turn left and go through the doorway. Run along the wall with the
shutter and use the shutters to reach a new balcony. Go through the
doorway on the right and watch the scene. Turn left. Run along the left
wall and jump to the beam on the right. Jump to the chain and slide to
the bottom. Drop down to the ground.

Find the wall button. Run up the wall with the button, slow down time,
and go through the door before it closes. Walk forward and kill the
guard. Turn right and walk forward. Kill some more guards. Walk forward
and destroy the objects in your way. Climb to the top of the ladder.

Jump to the wall behind you and jump from wall to wall to reach a
railing on the right. Hop over the railing and turn left. Walk forward
until you reach a wall. Turn right. Run up the wall and jump to the
beam behind you. Walk to the wall.

Jump up and grab the top of the wall. Pull yourself up. Run along the
wall on the left to reach a beam. Jump to the platform below. Turn
right and walk forward. Step onto the ledge and shimmy to the right.
Drop down to the lowest ledge and shimmy to the left until you reach a
platform. Turn left.

Run along the right wall and use the shutters to reach a ledge. Drop
down to the platform below and kill the guard. Turn right. Run along
the left wall and use the shutter to reach a platform. Drop down and
kill the guards. Deactivate the Sand Gate and you will gain the Winds
Of Time power.

Find the wall button near the Sand Gate. Run up the wall with the
button, slow down time, and run through the door before it closes. Walk
to the end of the hall and climb over the wall in front of you. Walk
forward and destroy the objects to find a wooden crate. Pull this out
of the alcove and push it to the left. Push it down the hallway and
against the door at the end of the hallway. Climb onto the crate.

Run up the wall and grab the top of the wall. Pull yourself up and drop
down to the hallway below. Follow the hallway until you reach a large
stone block. Run up the side of the block and pull yourself up. Run up
the wall and hang from the dagger plate.

Run to the left and jump to the dagger plate on the left. Jump to the
groove in the wall above you. Shimmy to the right and pull yourself up.
Save your game at the fountain.

  The City Gardens:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Turn left and walk out the doorway. Jump to the pole in front of you
and swing to the dagger plate. Run to the left and hang from the next
dagger plate. Drop down to the ledge below. Shimmy to the right and
jump to the ledge above you. Shimmy to the right again and drop down to
the beam below. Walk to the end of the beam and jump to the next beam.

Walk to the wall. Jump up and grab the ledge above you. Pull yourself
up and shimmy to the right. Jump to the beam behind you and walk to the
wall. Jump up and hang from the dagger plate. Run to the right and stab
the next dagger plate. Run to the right again and you will reach a
platform.

Climb onto the higher platform and turn left. Kill the guard here. Hang
over the railing and jump to the pole behind you. Swing to the platform
and walk forward. Hang of the edge of the platform and shimmy to the
right. Drop down to the ledge below. Jump to the ledge behind you. Hang
from this ledge and shimmy to the right.

Pull yourself up and jump to the tree. This functions as a column.
Slide down to the ground and take out the guards. Walk to the large
stone block on the left side of this area. There is a dagger switch on
the side of the block. Run up the side of the block and activate the
dagger switch. Return to the tree that you slid down moments earlier.

Climb the tree and jump back to the ledge. Hang from the ledge and
shimmy to the left as far as you can. Drop down to the beam below. Walk
to the end of the beam and jump to the next beam. Walk towards the
wall. Jump up and grab the ledge above. Shimmy to the left and pull
yourself up. Jump to the groove in the wall behind you.

Drop down to the dagger plate below. Drop down to the platform below
and walk to the end of the beam. Turn right and jump to the beam. Jump
forward to reach a ledge. Shimmy to the right and jump to the pole
behind you. Turn around and swing to the wall. Rebound off of the wall
to reach the higher pole. Turn around and swing to the top of the wall.

Walk to the end of the beam and jump to the tree. Jump to the beam on
the left. Jump to the dagger plate on the wall. Run to the right and
hang from the next dagger plate. Run to the right again to reach a
beam. Hang from the beam and speed kill the guard below. Take out the
rest of the guards and deactivate the Sand Gate to get your final sand
tank.

To the left of the Sand Gate is a wall with a dagger switch. Run up the
wall and activate the switch. Walk over to the tree in this area. Climb
to the top of the tree and jump to the beam on the left. Walk along the
beam and jump to the newly-created platform. Jump to the ledge in front
of you. Shimmy to the left and drop down to the beam below.

Walk to the end of the beam and jump to the next beam. Walk to the
wall. Jump up and grab the ledge above you. Pull yourself up, shimmy to
the right, and jump to the ledge behind you. Shimmy to the right and
drop down to the ledge below. Drop down to the platform and kill the
guards.

Turn right. Run along the left wall to reach a pole. Swing to the ledge
in front of you. Shimmy to the right and drop down to the platform
below. Kill the guards here and drop down to the large area below.
Watch the scene.

Mini-Boss battle "Stone Guardian":

This is a very short and easy battle. All you have to do is roll behind
the creature and slash at its legs. After a few stabs, the creature
will go down on one knee and a speed kill will be triggered. After the
speed kill sequence, the creature, instead of dying, will start to run
around while you hang from it. You have to steer the creature with the
left analog stick. Do not run headlong into a wall or you both will
die. Break through the door to escape this arena.

Continue to steer this creature away from walls. Break through the next
door and follow the winding pathway. It is best to start turning well
before you reach a corner because the creature is slow at turning but
moves quickly. If you run into a wall, rewind time and correct your
mistake. Continue doing this until a scene takes over.

Climb up the ladder on the right and save your game at the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~
  The Canal:
  ~~~~~~~~~~

Turn right and roll through the small gap in the wall. Walk forward and
walk onto the ledge on the right. Shimmy to the left and drop down to
the ledge below. Shimmy to the left again and drop down to the
platform. Follow the hall and walk onto the next ledge. Shimmy to the
left and jump to the ladder behind you. Slide down to the bottom and
jump to the platform behind you.

Walk forward and drink from the fountain to be transported to a new
area. Follow the hallway a bit and you will see some traps. Slow down
time, run past the spiked pole, and roll under the spiked log. Walk
forward and turn right. Wait for the rotating blades to just start to
retract into the wall, slow down time, and run along the left wall.

Slow down time and roll past the next traps. Roll past the rotating
blade and walk into the light. You will gain life upgrade #4. You will
be transported back to the fountain. Make your way back to the fountain
where you last saved your game. Walk down the hallway to the left of
this fountain.

Climb onto the block at the end of the hall. Run up the left wall and
jump from wall to wall until you reach the edge of a platform. Pull
yourself up and turn left. Run along the right wall to reach a ledge.
Shimmy to the left and jump to the ladder behind you. Slide to the
bottom of the ladder.

Jump to the ledge on the right and shimmy to the right. Jump to the
pole behind you and swing to the platform. Save your game at the
fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Promenade:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Go through the doorway in front of you. Follow the path and kill the
guard. Walk over to the wooden crate and push it to the left so that it
is against the wall and the railing. Climb onto the crate. Turn left.
Run along the right wall, over the pool of water, and jump to the wall
on the left. Jump from wall to wall until you reach the platform at the
top.

Pull yourself up and kill the guard. Go over to the wall button on the
right wall. Run up the wall and press the button. This will lower a
wooden board on the wall behind you. Run along this wall, over the
wooden board, and use the shutter to reach a ledge. Shimmy to the right
as far as you can.

Jump up to the ledge above you. Pull yourself up. Jump to the wooden
structure behind you. Rebound off of the wooden structure and jump
between the wall and the structure until you reach the top of the
wooden structure. Pull yourself up. Run along the right wall and use
the shutters to reach a new platform.

Go through the doorway and watch the scene. Walk forward and jump to
the chain in the center of the tower. Slide to the bottom of the chain.
Drop down to the ground and walk out of the tower. Kill the guard and
the two sand wolves. Turn left and look along the outside of the tower.

You will find a dagger switch on the outside of the tower. Run up the
wall and activate it. This closes two windows on a wall. Walk over to
the wall with the now-closed windows. Run along the wall and use the
torch to extend your run and reach a banner. Slide down the banner and,
before you reach the bottom, jump behind you and swing from the hanging
beam to reach a platform.

Kill all of the enemies here and destroy the objects for health. Walk
over to the right wall to find a dagger switch. Run up the wall and
activate it. This closes two more windows on another wall. Walk over to
the wall with the closed windows. Run along this wall, use the torch to
extend your run, and use the shutters to reach a new platform.

Kill the enemy here and turn left. Run along the right wall and jump
from shutter to shutter. After you jump off of the final shutter, swing
from the hanging beam to reach a new platform. Slow down time and kill
all of the enemies here. Turn left and run along the right wall.

Walk over to the wall with the dagger switch. Run up the wall and
activate it. This will open two windows behind you. Turn around and
walk to the beam in front of the first window. Jump up and grab the
beam. Pull yourself up and jump to the window. Jump to the platform in
front of you.

Turn left. Run up the wall and jump to the window behind you. Pull
yourself up and run along the left wall. Near the end of your run, jump
off of the wall and swing from the two hanging beams to reach a new
platform. Walk forward and hang off of the edge of the platform.

Shimmy to the left as far as you can. Use your whip to pull out the
white block and jump to the block. Pull yourself up. Run along the left
wall to reach a ladder. Slide to the bottom of the ladder. Use your
whip to pull out the next white block and jump to it. Pull yourself up
and turn left.

Run along the right wall and jump to the platform on the left. Watch
the scene that unfolds. Turn right and walk to the wall. Jump up and
grab the ledge above you. Pull yourself up. Jump up and grab the
railing above you. Hop over the railing and walk forward. Hop over the
next railing and hang from it.

Jump to the pole behind you. Swing to the next pole. Swing to the beam
in front of you. Walk to the end of the beam and jump to the chain.
Slide down to the bottom of the chain. Drop down to the ground and kill
all of the guards. The Sand Gate is still active, though. There is one
more guard to kill.

Near the Sand Gate is a raised platform. Walk over to the lower side of
this platform. Run up the side of it and pull yourself up. Kill the
guard here and return to the Sand Gate. Deactivate the Sand Gate to
gain 200 sand credits. Walk over to the left side of the area and go
through the open doorway.

Walk forward and climb over the stone blocks. Follow the conveyor belt
and you will eventually reach a bunch of crushers. Slow down time and
make your way pat the crushers. Continue down the path until you reach
a fountain. Save your game at the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Royal Workshop:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Turn right and walk forward. You will find a dagger switch on this
wall. Run up the wall and activate the dagger switch. Drop down and
watch the scene. Afterwards, walk to the large statue on the other side
of the room. Climb onto the staff of the statue and climb to the top.

Jump to the platform on the left. Run up the wall and jump to the pole
behind you. Turn around on the pole. Shimmy to the left and pull
yourself onto the platform. Turn left and walk to the wall. Jump up and
grab the groove in the wall. Shimmy to the left as far as you can.

Jump to the groove in the wall behind you. Shimmy to the left and pull
yourself onto the platform. Walk forward and you will see a handle. To
the right of the handle is a dagger switch. This dagger switch will
rotate the statue clockwise. If you rotate the handle, the dagger
switch will rotate the statue counter-clockwise instead.

Ignore both of these for now and walk to the ladder. Climb to the top
and turn left. Walk to the end of the platform and turn left. Slide
down the ladder and you will find another handle and dagger switch. The
dagger switch moves the statue forward. If you rotate the handle, the
dagger switch will move the state backwards.

To solve this perplexing puzzle you must move the statue:

  The King's Road:

Now it's time for another chariot chase. This one is longer but it
isn't that bad. Avoid hitting the walls because this will knock off
course and rewind time if you crash. Wind your way through the city,
avoiding the obstacles and killing the guards, until a scene takes
over.

                            The Twins

This fight seems hard at first but there is a trick to it. Begin by
attacking the twin with the giant sword. After a few attacks, the twin
with the axe will try to attack you from behind. Roll out of the way
and his axe will get stuck in the ground. Go behind the axe twin and
attack him. If the sword twin attacks you, block his attacks and
continue attacking the axe twin. He will eventually pull his axe out of
the ground. Go back to attacking the sword twin until the axe twin
tries to attack you from behind again. Roll to avoid his attack and his
axe will get stuck again. Attack the axe twin again. Continue this
pattern and eventually you will be prompted to begin a speed kill
sequence. Trigger the speed kill and press square when the dagger
flashes. At this point, both twins should be at about half health. Go
back to the tactic of attacking the sword twin and rolling to avoid the
axe twin's attack until his axe is stuck in the ground again. Attack
the axe twin and you will be prompted to perform a second speed kill.

After the scene, kill all of the enemies in the room and a door will
open. Go through the door and walk forward. There is a tall wall in
front of you. Go to the left side of this wall and destroy the objects.
Run up the wall and you will grab a ledge. Shimmy to the right as far
as you can and pull yourself up.

Walk forward and go through the doorway with the curtains. Walk into
the pool of water and watch the scene. Walk forward and run up the
wall. Hop over the railing and save your game at the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Palace Entrance:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Turn right and walk down the hallway. After the scene, run along the
wall with the shutter and use the shutter to reach a ledge. Shimmy to
the right as far as you can. Jump behind you to reach the gap between
the two walls. Climb to the top of the gap and turn around.

Jump to the balcony here and hop over the railing. Rotate the handle
counter-clockwise to open the door near you. Go through the door and
follow the hallway until you reach a giant hole in the left wall. Jump
through the hole and slide down the banner. Before you reach the
bottom, jump to the ledge behind you. Hang from this ledge and shimmy
to the left.

Pull yourself up onto the platform. Turn left and run up the wall to
reach a ledge. Jump to the wall behind you and jump from wall to wall
to reach the railing at the top. Hop over the railing and kill the
guards. Walk forward and turn left. Run along the right wall and jump
when you reach the bulge in the wall to reach a pole.

Swing to the next pole and then swing to the dagger plate on the wall.
Run to the right to reach a new platform. Turn right and walk forward.
Hang over the railing and jump to the dagger plate on the wall. Look to
the right. Wait for the thin, flat platform to extend out of the wall
and run to the right. Before the platform retracts, turn right and run
up the wall. At the top of your run, jump to the wall behind you and
jump from wall to wall until you reach a dagger plate.

Run to the right and jump to the pole on the right. Climb on top of the
pole and jump to the pole above. Swing to the next pole and swing to
the platform. Turn right and walk to the middle of the balcony. Turn
right again and hang over the railing. Jump to the dagger plate behind
you. Jump up to the second dagger plate and then jump up to the third
one.

Jump to the wall behind you and jump from wall to wall until you reach
a button. After you press the button, slow time and drop down to the
highest dagger plate. Drop down to the dagger plate below you and jump
to the balcony behind you. Run through the door before it closes. Walk
to the end of the long hallway and drink from the fountain. You will be
transported to a new hallway.

Slow down time, wait for the blade to move to the right, and jump the
gap to the next platform. Wait for the spiked log to rotate to its safe
side and walk forward. Jump the gap to the next platform and run past
the next blade. Walk forward and wait for the ledge to extend out of
the wall. Run up the wall and grab the ledge. Slow down time and climb
to the top ledge. Jump to the ledge behind you. Climb to the top ledge
and jump to the platform behind you.

Wait for the spiked log on the left to rotate onto its safe side. Run
along the left wall and you will easily get past this last trap. Walk
into the light and you will gain life upgrade #5. You will be
transported back to the fountain. Walk back down the long hallway and
go through the door. Walk to the handle in front of you.

Turn the handle to open the door in front of you. Go through the door
and turn right. Run up the wall and hang from the dagger plate. Jump up
and grab the edge of the platform. Pull yourself up and walk forward.
Hang over the ledge and jump to the dagger plate. Look to the right.
Wait for the thin, flat platform to extend from the wall and run to the
right.

Jump to the ledge in front of you and shimmy to the right. Jump to the
wall behind you and jump from wall to wall until you reach a railing.
Hop over the railing and kill the guards. Turn left. Run along the
right wall and jump when you reach the bulge in the wall to reach a
pole. Swing to the next pole. Swing forward to reach the wall and jump
from wall to wall to reach a dagger plate.

Run to the right to reach a ledge. Shimmy to the right and jump to the
railing behind you. Hop over the railing and kill the guards. Walk
forward and turn right. Hang over the railing and jump to the elevator
that Farah is in. Watch the scene that occurs.

After the scene, kill all of the enemies and walk to the handle. Turn
the handle and walk into the alcove between the two walls. Wait for the
wall overhead to move backwards. Run up the left wall and jump from
wall to wall to reach a platform on the left. Pull yourself up before
the wall moves outwards again.

Walk forward, run up the wall, and hang from the dagger plate. Wait for
the wall to extend outwards and run to the left to reach another dagger
plate. Jump up and hang from the dagger plate above. Jump up and grab
the edge of the platform. Pull yourself up and turn right. Turn right
and wait for part of the wall to extend. Run along the left wall and
hang from the dagger plate.

Wait for the wall to retract and then extend once more. Run to the
right to reach another platform. Turn right and run along the left wall
to reach a banner. Before you reach the bottom of the banner, jump to
the beam behind you. Walk to the ledge and shimmy to the left. Walk to
the end of the next beam.

Jump to the gap between the walls and climb to the top. Turn around and
jump to the dagger plate. Run to the left and jump to the dagger plate
on the left. Run to the right to reach a ledge. Shimmy to the right and
drop to the ground. Go forward, run along the right wall, and jump to
the dagger plate on the left. Run to the right and hang from the next
dagger plate. Jump to the pole behind you and swing to the next dagger
plate.

Look to the left and wait for the section of the wall to extend. Run to
the left to reach the next platform. Save your game at the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Hanging Gardens:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Turn left and go through the doorway on the right. Hang off of the edge
of the platform and drop down to the ledge below. Shimmy to the right,
jump up, and grab the edge of the platform. Pull yourself up and turn
right. Walk forward and watch the scene. Turn right. Run along the left
wall and jump to the pole on the right. Drop down to the wall gap and
slide to the bottom.

Drop down and kill the two guards. Walk to the right side of the
platform where there is a gap in the railing. Run along the right wall
to reach a dagger plate. Look to the left. Wait for the platform to
extend from the wall. Run to the left and jump to the platform. Run
forward and run along the right wall to reach a pole. Climb on top of
the pole and jump to the pole above. Climb the series of poles to reach
a beam at the top.

Walk to the end of the beam and jump to the pole. Swing to the platform
and watch the scene. Turn right and run along the left wall to reach a
ledge. Drop down to the wall gap and slide down to the bottom. Drop to
the ground, slow down time, and kill the guards. Deactivate the Sand
Gate and you will gain The Sand Storm power which is wicked powerful.

Watch the scene that follows. After the scene, walk to the railing and
hang over it. Jump to the dagger plate on the wall. Jump up and hang
from the dagger plate above. Wait for the wall to extend and run to the
left. Jump from wall to wall until you reach a ledge on the left. Wait
for the wall to extend again. Jump to the wall and jump from wall to
wall to reach a higher ledge. Shimmy to the left.

Pull yourself up and jump to the higher ledge. Shimmy to the left and
drop down to the wall gap. Slide to the bottom, drop to the ground, and
kill the guards. Walk over to the railing at the edge of the platform.
Go to the gap in the railing. Run along the right wall to reach a
ledge. Shimmy to the left. Jump to the pole behind you and swing to the
ledge.

Shimmy to the right and jump to the platform behind you. Go through the
doorway and save your game at the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Structure's Mind:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Turn left and walk forward. Walk to the end of the beam and jump to the
gap between the walls. There are rotating blades in the middle of the
gap. Get as close as you can to the blades, slow down time, and slide
past them. Drop down to the ground. Slow down time and roll past the
spiked log. Run past the arrow trap and the spiked pole. Lastly, there
is a set of three rotating blades. Slow down time and roll past each
one individually.

Walk to the center of the next room and turn left. This room has three
handles. I will refer to the center handle as the North handle, the
right handle as the east handle, and the left handle as the west
handle.

Go to the North handle and turn it once to raise the platform. Drop
back down to the ground. Go to the east handle and turn it once to
raise the platform. Drop back down to the ground. Walk to the west
handle and turn it once to raise the platform. Drop down to the ground.

Walk over to where the east handle used to be. Stand on the left side
of the raised platform and turn left. Run along the right wall to reach
a ledge. Climb up a few ledges until you see a metal platform behind
you. Jump to the metal platform and jump to the platform with the
handle. Turn the handle to raise the platform a second time.

Run along the wall to return to the pillar of ledges. Shimmy to the
left and drop down until you see a metal platform behind you. Jump to
the metal platform and jump to the platform with the North handle on
it. Turn the handle to raise the platform a second time. Turn left and
run along the right wall to reach the other pillar of ledges.

Shimmy to the left and drop down until you see a metal platform behind
you. Jump to the metal platform and jump to the platform with the East
handle. Turn the handle to raise the platform a second time. Watch the
scene that follows.

Run back the pillar of ledges and climb down to the ground. Exit
through the large archway to the south and watch the scene that
follows. Save your game after the scene.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Well Of Ancestors:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Walk forward and turn left. Walk through the archway and turn right.
Run along the wall and use the torch to extend your run and reach a
platform. Run along the right wall and use the torch to extend your run
and reach a beam. Walk along the beam to the left. Jump from the beam
and swing from the hanging beam to reach a chain. Slide to the bottom.

Drop to the beam below, pull yourself up, and walk along the beam
before it collapses. Walk to the end of the small beam and jump to the
platform. Turn right. Run along the left wall and use the torch to
extend your run and reach the next platform. Go through the door and
break the pots for sand. Walk back out to the platform and turn left.

Jump to the beam and drop down to the beam below. Drop down to the
platform below and turn around. Run along the right wall and use the
torches to reach the next platform. Run along the right wall again and
use the torch to reach the next platform. Jump down to the platform
below and enter the door.

Kill a few enemies here for sand and turn around. Walk back out the
doorway and go right. Run along the right wall to reach the next
platform and drop down into the wall gap. Slide to the bottom and drop
to the ground. Kill the enemies fro sand. Go to the edge of the
platform. Jump forward and swing from the two hanging beams to reach
the next platform. Turn left. Run along the right wall and use the
torches to reach a beam.

Drop down to the beam below and then drop down to the platform. Run
along the left wall and use the four torches to reach the next
platform. Walk forward. Jump a swing from the hanging beam to reach
another ledge. Turn right, go through the doorway, and kill the next
group of enemies. Turn right and walk onto the ledge. Shimmy to the
left and drop down to the platform below.

Run along the right wall to reach another platform. Head down the ramp
and run along the right wall to reach another platform. Run along the
right wall again to reach yet another platform. Turn left and walk
forward. Kill all of the enemies here and turn right. Walk to the end
of the beam and jump to the wall gap. Slide to the bottom and drop to
the ground.

Turn around, head right, and go through the doorway. Follow the hallway
and smash the pots for sand. Turn left and you will face some traps.
Wait for the blades on the wall to reach their lowest point and run
along the right wall to reach a ledge. Hang from the ledge and shimmy
to the right. Drop down to the ledge below and pull yourself up. Shimmy
to the left and jump to the groove in the wall behind you.

Shimmy to the right and wait for the saw blade to move to the right.
Drop down to the ledge below. Shimmy to the right and pull yourself up
onto the platform. Turn left and you will see three rotating blades. Go
to the left side of the blades and wait for the first one to pass. Slow
down time and roll past all three. Destroy the pots here for sand.

Turn right and walk forward. Jump forward and swing from the hanging
beam to reach an unstable platform. Turn right. Jump up and grab the
groove in the wall. Shimmy to the right and jump to the ledge behind
you. Drop down three ledges and shimmy to the right to reach a new
platform. Walk forward, slow down time, and roll past the rotating
blades. Destroy the pots for some more sand.

Wait for the spiked logs to rotate onto their safe sides. Slow down
time, run along the left wall, and use the shutter to reach a ledge.
Shimmy to the right. Jump up to the ledge above and shimmy to the
right. Jump to the groove in the wall behind you and shimmy to the
right as far as you can. Slow down time and drop down to the floor when
it is safe to do so.

Walk to the pit at the end of this hall and turn left. Slow down time
and wait for the blade to retract into the wall. Run up the wall and
grab the groove in the wall. Shimmy to the right and use your whip to
pull out the white block. Jump to the block and turn left. Jump to the
groove in the wall and shimmy to the right. Drop down to the ground,
slow down time, and roll past the rotating blades.

Walk forward, step on the floor switch, and walk through the doorway.
Watch the scene that follows. It is quite moving. You now have the
King's sword. This can kill any enemy in one hit although you cannot
use any other secondary weapon for the rest of the game. Take out some
of the enemies here for fun.

Walk to the cracked wall and smash through it (press and hold
triangle). Walk forward and save your game at the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Well Of Ancestors (cont.):
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The enemies here are all invisible, so be careful. Walk forward and hug
the left wall until the platform ends. Run along the left wall to reach
a new platform. Turn right and follow the platform as it curves to the
left. Walk to the end of the platform. Jump to the next platform and
turn right. Circle around the platform until it ends. Run along the
left wall to reach a new platform.

Walk forward and run along the left wall to reach another platform.
Turn right and walk forward until you reach an alcove. Run up the right
wall and jump from wall to wall until you reach the top. Turn left,
walk forward, and jump to the next platform. Turn right and walk
forward. Run along the left wall to the next platform. Turn right and
walk forward. Jump across to the next platform and then jump to the
third platform.

Turn left and jump to the platform in the distance. Turn left again and
jump to the next platform. Jump forward to the next platform and turn
right. Jump to the platform in front of you and turn right. Run along
the left wall to reach a new platform. Jump forward to the next
platform and save your game at the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Labyrinth:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Walk forward and step on the floor switch to open the door. Walk
through the door and follow the path until you reach a pit. Turn right
and run up the wall to reach a ledge. Shimmy to the left as far as you
can. Drop down to the ledge below and shimmy to the left. Jump to the
ledge on the left and shimmy to the right. Drop down two ledges and
shimmy to the right. Drop down to the ledge below and shimmy to the
right. Jump up to the ledge above and pull yourself up. Jump up and
grab the edge of the platform. Pull yourself up.

Walk forward, step on the floor switch, and go through the door. Walk
to the edge of the platform and jump to the pole. Swing to the next
pole and shimmy to the left. Swing to the small pole. Drop down to the
small pole below and drop down to the large pole below. Shimmy to the
right and swing to the small pole. Swing to the platform and walk
forward. Climb up to the highest platform and walk to the wall. Run up
the wall to reach a ledge. Pull yourself up.

Climb up two more ledges and jump to the pole behind you. Shimmy to the
right and swing to the dagger plate. Jump up to the dagger plate above.
Run to the left to reach the next dagger plate. Jump to the pole behind
you and swing to another dagger plate. Run to the left to reach another
dagger plate. Jump to the pole behind you and swing to the edge of the
platform. Pull yourself up.

Walk forward and break through the rubble. Walk through the doorway and
jump the gap to the next platform. Save your game at the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Underground Cave:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Turn right and jump to the platform with the pile of rubble. Break
through the rubble, walk forward, and turn right. Wait for the spiked
pole to move left. Slow down time, jump to the thin platform between
the spiked poles, and quickly jump the next gap to the next platform.
Turn right and run up the wall to reach a ledge. Pull yourself up.

Jump up and grab the ledge above you. Pull yourself up and shimmy to
the right to reach another platform. Walk forward, turn left, and break
through the rubble blocking the doorway. Walk through the doorway and
turn left. Run along the left wall to reach a wall gap. Climb to the
top and pull yourself up. Jump to the dagger plate on the wall and drop
down to the beam below.

Swing to the ledge in front of you and pull yourself up. Jump up and
grab the ledge above. Pull yourself up. Jump to the wall behind you and
jump from wall to wall until you reach the ledge at the top. Run up the
wall and activate the dagger switch. Drop to the ground and turn left.
Slow down time, run along the right wall, and jump to the moving block.
Pull yourself up and jump to the next block. Jump to the platform in
front of you.

Run up the wall and activate the dagger switch. Drop down and turn
left. Walk to the end of the beam and jump to the ledge. Shimmy to the
left as far as you can. Drop down two ledges and shimmy to the left.
Jump to the ledge behind you. Break through the rubble and walk through
the doorway. Walk forward, turn right, and walk towards the wall.

Run up the wall and jump from wall to wall to reach the top. Climb onto
the stone block and turn right. Run along the left wall to reach a
pole. Swing to the next pole. Shimmy to the right and line yourself up
with the wall gap. Swing to the wall gap and slide to the bottom. Drop
down to the ground.

Walk to the wall in front of you and turn right. Jump to the dagger
plate and hang from it. Jump up and grab the ledge above. Pull yourself
up and shimmy to the left. Jump up and hang from the dagger plate
above. Jump up to the higher dagger plate. Jump up to the ledge above,
pull yourself up, and shimmy to the right to reach the next platform.
Walk to the end of the beam and jump to the column. Turn left and jump
to the next column. Jump to the platform in front of you.

Walk through the passageway, turn right, and break through the rubble.
Walk through the doorway. Run along the right wall and hang from the
dagger plate. Run to the left and jump to the ledge on the left. Shimmy
to the right as far as you can. Climb up two ledges and jump to the
beam behind you. Walk to the end of the beam and jump to the wall gap.
Climb to the top and pull yourself up.

Walk forward. Run up the right wall and jump from wall to wall to reach
the top. Turn right. Roll under the spiked logs and turn left. Slow
down time, run past the saws, and climb onto the crusher. Jump over the
next pair of saws and turn left. Walk to the end of the path. Jump up
and hang from the dagger plate. Jump up to the higher dagger plate and
run to the right to reach a new platform. Turn right, walk forward, and
save your game at the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Royal Kitchen:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Turn right and walk forward. Run up the wall and activate the dagger
switch. Run through the door before it closes. Kill all of the enemies
here. Walk over to the stairs on the right. Walk up the stairs and go
to the door at the top. Face the door and turn left. Walk forward until
you reach the wall. Run up the wall and hang from the dagger plate.
Jump up to the higher dagger plate.

Run to the left and jump to the beam on the left. Walk to the other end
of the beam and jump to the dagger plate on the right. Run to the left
to reach a pole. Shimmy to the left and swing to the platform. Turn
left and walk forward. Walk to the end of the beam and jump to the
dagger plate on the right. Run to the left and jump to the beam on the
left.

Walk to the end of the beam and jump to the dagger plate in front of
you. Run to the left and activate the button on the wall. Drop to the
ground and go through the door before it closes. Walk down the hallway
and save your game at the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Secret Passage:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Follow the hallway until you reach a pit. Jump forward to the pole and
shimmy to the left. Swing to the small pole and swing to the ledge on
the wall. Wait for the ledge to extend out of the wall. Climb up two
ledges. Jump up and grab the railing. Hop over the railing and turn
left. Run up the wall and hop over the railing. Follow the hallway and
save your game at the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Lower Tower:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Walk through the doorway and turn left. Walk forward and limb up to the
higher platform. Run along the left wall to reach a pole and swing
forward to the next platform. Turn left and run up the wall to reach a
ledge. Pull yourself up. Jump up to the next ledge and shimmy to the
right. Climb up two more ledges and shimmy to the left to reach a new
platform.

Run along the right wall to reach a pole. Shimmy to the right as far as
you can and swing to the wall gap. Slide to the bottom and drop to the
ground. Walk to the end of the beam. Jump to the pole on the right and
swing to the next platform. Follow the platform around, kill the guard,
and turn the handle.

Walk to the wall of this platform that is facing out over the cliff.
Run up the wall to reach a ledge. Shimmy to the ledge and jump to the
beam behind you. Walk to the end of the beam and jump to the beam in
front of you. Jump to the platform on the right. Walk forward and turn
left. Walk to the end of the beam.

Jump to the higher beam on the left. Turn around and jump to the higher
beam connected to the platform. Walk to the platform and turn the
handle. Turn right and jump to the beam. Turn around and jump to the
higher beam. Walk along the beam and walk to the end of the smaller
beam. Jump to the beam on the right and drop down to the platform.

Go to the elevator and pull the stone block out of the elevator. Push
the block against the stone wall and climb onto the block. Run up the
wall and hang from the dagger plate. Run to the right to reach another
dagger plate. Run to the right and jump to the column on the right.
Slide to the bottom and jump to the dagger plate on the wall.

Run to the right to reach a second dagger plate. Run to the right again
to reach a pole. Swing to the next pole and turn around. Swing to the
next pole and then swing to the platform. Walk to the end of the
platform. Run along the right wall to reach a pole. Turn around and
swing to the platform. Walk forward, turn left, and walk through the
doorway.

Walk forward until you reach a pit. Wait for the saw on the left wall
to rise. Slow down time, run along the left wall, and use the shutters
to reach a new platform. Continue down the path and you will reach a
new trap. Wait for the spiked log to rotate onto its safe side. Run
along the wall to get past the trap. Turn right and you will reach
another set of traps.

Wait for the two spiked logs to rotate onto their safe sides and run
forward. Turn right and walk forward. Jump to the dagger plate on the
wall. Run to the right and use the shutters to reach a new dagger
plate. Jump up to the dagger plate above you and then jump up to the
highest dagger plate. Run to the left and walk forward. Save your game
at the fountain.

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The Middle Tower:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Run up the wall and activate the dagger switch. Run through the door
before it closes. Turn right and walk forward. Turn right and run up
the door to reach a dagger plate. Jump up and hang from the next dagger
plate. Run to the right to reach a platform. Turn left and run up the
wall to reach another dagger plate. Jump up to the dagger plate above.

Run to the left to reach another dagger plate. Run to the left and use
the shutter to reach a column. Jump from the column to reach the
platform in the distance. Head to the other side of the platform and
turn the handle. Walk to the edge of the platform and turn right. Jump
to the beam. Walk along the beam and jump up to the beam above. Walk
along the beam and jump to the platform on the right.

Walk to the other side of the platform and pull the block out of the
elevator. Push the block over to the other elevator and push it onto
the elevator. Turn the handle. Turn left and walk to the railing. You
should see a bunch of poles in front of you. Hang over the railing and
jump to the bottom pole. Climb on top of the pole and jump up to the
pole above. Climb up to the pole at the top.

Swing to the platform on the right. Kill the enemies here and walk over
to the elevator with the stone block. Pull the block out of the
elevator and push it over to the small elevator on the far side of the
platform. Push it onto the elevator to raise a platform in the
distance. Turn left and walk to the wall. Run up the wall to reach a
ledge. Pull yourself up and shimmy to the right to reach a platform.

Run along the left wall and jump to the elevator on the right. Turn
left and hang over the railing. Jump to the beam behind you and walk to
the platform. Walk forward to the alcove ahead. Run up the right wall
and jump from wall to wall to reach the top. Shimmy to the right and
jump to the beam behind you. Walk to the end of the beam and jump to
the platform. Turn right and run up the wall to reach a dagger plate.

Run to the left and swing from pole to pole to reach a platform. Turn
left and hang off the edge of the platform. Drop down to the beam below
and walk forward. Walk through the doorway and follow the hallway until
you reach a raised platform. Climb onto it and walk to the wall. Run up
the wall to reach a ledge. Follow the series of ledges until you reach
a platform. Walk forward and drink from the fountain to be transported
to another location.

Walk forward until the spinning blade pops out of the ground. Wait for
the spiked log to rotate onto its safe side. Roll under the blade and
run past the log. Wait for the two spiked logs in the distance to
rotate onto their safe sides. When the rotating blade on the wall
starts to retract into the wall, run along the left wall. Jump when you
reach the spiked logs and jump from wall to wall to reach a platform on
the right.

Wait for the first rotating blade to retract into the wall. Run along
the wall, past the blades, and jump to the beam on the right. (Make
sure you run as far as you can or you won't reach the beam.) Walk to
the end of the beam and jump to the beam in front of you. Drop down to
the beam below. Jump to the platform on the left. Run along either wall
to bypass the traps and walk into the light to receive the final life
upgrade.

You will be transported back to the fountain. Turn around and descend
the series of ledges. Walk to the end of the passage and climb up the
two raised platforms. Walk through the doorway and to the end of the
beam. Jump to the beam on the right and then jump up to the beam above
you. Jump to the platform on the right. Turn around and jump to the
higher platform. Turn right and go through the doorway. It's time for
some more traps.

Slow down time and wait for the spiked logs to rotate onto their safe
sides. Run along the left wall and use the shutter to reach a dagger
plate on the right. Jump up to the higher dagger plate. Wait for the
saw to lower and run to the left. Use the shutters to reach another
dagger plate. Slow down time again and wait for the saws to lower. Run
to the left to reach a new platform. Turn left.

Wait for the first saw to lower and then run along the right wall. Use
the shutters to reach a new dagger plate. Jump to the platform behind
you. Walk forward. Wait for the spiked log to rotate onto its safe
side. Roll under the spinning blade, run past the spiked log, and jump
to the dagger plate. Climb the series of dagger plates until you reach
the fourth dagger plate. Jump up and grab the edge of the platform.
Pull yourself up and walk forward.

Go through the doorway and walk to the edge of the platform. Run along
the right wall to reach a pole. Swing to the next pole and swing to the
ledge ahead. Shimmy to the left to reach the next platform. Go through
the doorway, turn left, and run along the left wall to reach a new
platform. Run up the wall on the left and climb over to reach a new
platform.

Follow the path up the ramp and jump to the wooden platform in the
middle. Push the stone block into the elevator. Walk to the opposite
side of this platform and hang over the railing. Jump to the next
platform and turn left. Jump to the platform ahead. Follow the platform
until you are facing the wooden center platform again. Jump forward to
reach a pole. Swing to the wooden platform and turn the handle.

Turn left and walk to the end of the beam. Jump to the platform. Run up
the wall and hop over the railing. Turn left and follow the platform to
the end. Jump up to the beam above. Walk to the end of the beam and
jump to the wooden platform. Pull the stone block out of the elevator
and push it onto the other elevator. Go back to the first elevator and
hang over the railing. Jump to the elevator behind you and turn right.
Hang over the railing and jump to the next platform.

Turn right and jump to the beam. Walk to the wall and jump to the ledge
above. Pull yourself up and jump up to the groove in the wall. Shimmy
to the left and jump to the column behind you. Climb to the top of the
column and look to the right. You should see a dagger plate on the wall
over a platform. Jump to the platform and walk to the wall. Run up the
wall and hang from the dagger plate.

Run to the left and use the shutter to reach another dagger plate. Run
to the left to reach a new dagger plate. Drop down to the dagger plate
below and then drop down to the platform. Go through the doorway and
kill the enemies. Turn left and go through the doorway. Turn right and
walk to the wall. Run up the wall and hang from the dagger plate. Jump
to the dagger plate above. Run to the left to reach another dagger
plate. Run to the left again to reach a third plate. Drop down to the
beam below you.

Walk to the end of the beam and jump to the next beam. Hang off the
right side of the beam and drop down to the platform. Walk to the end
of the next beam and drop down to the beam below. Walk to the end of
the beam and jump to the next beam. Hang off of the right side of the
beam and drop to the platform below. Jump to the platform on the right.

Run up the wall to reach a dagger plate. Jump up to a second and third
dagger plate. Run to the left and use the shutter to reach a column.
Climb to the top of the column. Jump to the ledge behind you, shimmy to
the right, and walk through the doorway. Walk down the hall and save
your game at the fountain.

  The Upper Tower:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Turn left and run along the right wall to reach a dagger plate. Run to
the left to reach a ledge. Shimmy to the left. Jump to the wall behind
you and jump from wall to wall until you reach a ledge on the right.
Shimmy to the left and jump to the dagger plate behind you. Jump up and
hang from the dagger plate above. Jump up and grab the edge of the
platform. Pull yourself up and walk forward.

Go through the doorway and walk to the end of the beam. Jump to the
pole and shimmy to the right. Swing to the small pole and swing to the
ledge in front of you. Wait for the ledge to extend from the wall and
shimmy to the left. Wait for the ledge above to extend from the wall
and jump up to it. Pull yourself up and jump to the ledge above. Pull
yourself up and shimmy to the right. Jump up and grab the edge of the
platform. Pull yourself and walk forward.

Go to the wall on the other side of the room. Wait for the ledge to
extend out of the wall. Run up the wall to reach the ledge and pull
yourself up. Jump to the pole behind you. Swing to the next pole and
then swing to the railing. Hop over the railing and walk to the end of
the long hallway. Save your game at the fountain. This is the last save
point before the final boss.

  The Terrace:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~

Walk up the stairs and turn right. Walk up the next staircase and turn
left. To your left is a very thin path leading up to a wall button. Run
up the wall, slow down time, and go back down the staircase. Go through
the door before it closes. Follow the hallway until you reach a
railing. Hang over the railing and jump to the railing behind you. Hop
over the railing and continue down the hallway until you reach a
breakable wall. Break through the wall and walk until you reach the
elevator. Ride the elevator to the top and watch the scene.

                         The Vizier: Part 1

For the first part of this battle, you need to be on the offensive. The
vizier has a few attacks to watch out for, though. He will either stab
at you with one arm or he will swipe at you with both arms. To avoid
the single-arm attack, either roll to the side or block it. The two-arm
attack cannot be blocked, so roll to avoid it. Continue to attack the
vizier until he flies away. He will now throw a large piece of rubble
at you. Walk to the left side of the area and roll to the left to avoid
the rubble. Go back to attacking the vizier until he flies away again.
This time he will throw two pieces of rubble at you. Go to the left to
avoid the first piece and the right to avoid the second piece. After
some more fighting, he will throw three pieces of rubble at you. For
this last part, go to the left for the first piece, the right for the
second piece, and the left for the final piece of rubble. Attack him
some more and a scene will take over.

                         The Vizier: Part 2

During this second phase, most of the hazard comes from the rocks
floating around the area. The vizier will use a light orb attack but it
doesn't do much damage. Avoid the rocks and run up the column behind
the vizier. You will be prompted to do a speed kill. Press square three
times and one of the vizier's wings will come off. Avoid the rocks and
perform two more speed kills. Once you successfully perform the speed
kills, a scene will take over.

                         The Vizier: Part 3

This part is radically different from a boss fight. Basically, you have
to make your way to the vizier, using the floating rubble, in order to
deliver the final blow. The important thing to remember here is that
the vizier will keep pelting you with orb attacks, which will knock you
off of any object you are hanging on. It is best to wait on a platform
for him to attack you and then continue platforming. The vizier's
attack isn't that powerful and only takes away a tiny bit of damage.
Find the platform closest to the ground. Run up the column and jump to
the platform. Pull yourself up. Jump to the platform in front of you
and turn left. Jump to the pole and climb on top. Turn around and
shimmy to the right. Jump forward to the next platform. Turn left and
jump to another platform. Jump to the pole and swing to the next
platform. Turn right and jump to the next platform. From there, jump
forward to another platform. Jump to the next platform, turn right, and
jump to the pole. Swing to the next platform. Run up the wall and jump
to the platform behind you. Pull yourself up. Jump forward to reach the
last platform. Jump towards the vizier and press square when the dagger
flashes. Watch the scene afterwards.

  Mental Realm:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~

After the scene, attack the dark prince until the sky darkens and you
fall into the mental realm. The cool part about this area is that you
cannot die. Everything is fairly linear here, so just follow the path
until the end. Try to kill yourself if you want. It's fun. Anyway,
after you complete this alarmingly easy platforming section, watch the
end scene and the credits.
