2. Intro- Rabbit Punch is a great game with its only downfall being its
difficulty. The stages and enemies are hard ,but the bosses are really tough
too,not to mention the lack on online help for this game. Therefore I bring you
the Rabbit Punch Boss Strategy Guide. To help you as
the game would say........
DESTROY ENEMY MASTER
Note: Boss health is determined by shots with normal laser. It also may vary
depending on the difficulty and rate of fire dip switch settings on the
machine you are playing on.
3.Mechanical Bull
Level:1
Difficulty: 1 out of 5
Health:medium
Description: As soon as you see the mechanical brute get to the floor and fire
away at him. After a second or to he'll shoot out some bullets headed in your
direction dodge them by flying above him and going right. Usually he'll jump
back toward his original position on the screen this is your chance to fly
under his bullets and shoot at him. When you see two fire balls on him
accompanied by a charging sound get out of his line of sight as he is going
to shoot an energy beam at you. After its over swoop down and blast him.
You'll find that when he (as well as all bosses) starts flashing he is almost
done for.
4.Mech Squad
Level:2
Difficulty:2 out of 5
Health:(Individual)medium
Description: You've seen these guys around before but now 3 will attack you at
once and won't leave you so easy.They fly in a circle around the screen pelting
you with a straight laser as well as several bullets. One trick is to line up
with the legs of one of these guys and shoot them in the legs before they move.
While shooting the legs the straight laser will go right over you. Also
remember to shoot them while they are entering the screen. Getting rid of them
quickly before they overwhelm you is key.
5.Robotic Cheetah Pack
Level:3
Difficulty:2 out of 5
Health:(Individual)Low
Description: As you did with the mechanical bull get on the floor and shoot
at them while they file in. They fight similar to the bull as they jump back
to the other side of the screen while they attack, However these guys don't
have the dual fireball attack of the bull. Unfortunatly lack of Firebeam
doesn't mean they don't make up for it in bullets. Rotating in a circle
around the bullets is the best way to dodge them and get in a couple of shots.
With there weak they should go down pretty fast.
6:Giant Robot
Level:4
Difficulty:4 out of 5
Health:High
Description: Ok fromt the get go you are at a disadvantage because this baddie
takes up alot of the area, and It also shoots many, many bullets. To bring it
down keep shooting the whole battle its so big you'll hit it or one of the
devices it uses to shoot a straight laser(these can be destroyed for good).
Start swerving up and down as the stream of bullets follows you. Going up and
down you must find a hole in the bullets to slip through. Just don't give up
and keep shooting.
7.Stone Head
Level:5
Difficulty:3 out of 5
Health:Medium
Description: Ok so its a big floating head that can shoot a straight eye laser
only easy to kill right? Wrong He has several rocks floating around him each of
the rocks shoots those annoying little rainbow flashy bullets that kill you
so much.BUT! Don't despair each of the rocks can be destroyed. Just keep
shooting the whole time you won't need to get all the rocks because as the
openings to him grow he'll get hit more and more. To dodge the rocks' bullets
you'll have to go under and foward or over and foward as they fire in your
direction in short burst.
8.Ghost
Level:6
Difficulty:3 out of 5
Health:High
Description: Not to tough but he too has a gimmick to help him. Those turtles
that charge you appear frequently throughout the battle to ram you. So as
always be firing the whole battle and get ready to dodge 3 bullets shot toward
you while dodging the turtles the ghost will also ram you by flying to your
side of the screen. Sooooooo as he charges fly downward shooting the turtles
and going through the gap made by the bullets and going back to your spot
blasting him awhile and repeating.
9.Floating Statue
Level:7
Difficulty:2 out of 5
Health:Medium
Description:OK this guy is tough because of the sheer amount of firepower he
puts on screen at a time. Luckily his attack plan has a fatal flaw. Stay at the
bottom of the screen and shoot him when he dips down to the ground. All you
have to do is dodge one flashing bullet or two that comes your way by flying
over it and back to the ground.
10.Evil Head Monster and Snake
Level:8
Difficulty: 4 out of 5
Health:Snake-low Head-Medium
Description: This wouldn't be SO hard if not for the snake monster gliding
around you can destroy it by shooting it in the head but you might get killed
in the process as the head shoots 3 bullets in your direction in burst the
whole time. Once the snake is gone you can dodge these by getting close to the
source of them(the mouth) and flying up and over and then down and to the
right and going back. Do the following pattern while shooting the mouth as it
is the only weak point. You can track the head's damage taken by the cracks
he err sh err it gains as you hit it more and more.
11.Dragon
Level:9
Difficulty:4 out of 5
Health:High
Description: The dragon is one tough mythical reptile in rabbit punch for many
reasons.One is how he flys in very unusual angles and keeps you from dodging
his attacks.Two is is his ability to shoot a fire chain that tracks you around
screen for practically forever. Third is the his rate of fire,Like other bosses
he shoots 3 at a time in burst but his are quicker than the others. Having
a friend here really helps as your combined fire can bring him down quicker.
Good luck fighting him, You'll need it.
12.Mammoth
Level:10
Difficulty:5 out of 5
Health:High
Description: This Here is a toughie. He uses the usual 3 bullet burst but even
faster than the dragon, and to make things worse he jumps to the top of the
screen at timed increments firing the whole time. Again having a friend really
helps here as you can bring this bad boy down faster. One thing that might help
is that if you listen to the music you can tell by the beats when he is going
to jump. Also try to save up your missiles for this fight.
13.Return of the defeated
Level:11
Difficulty:7 out of 5
Health: same as before
Description:Who in the world came up with the idea of making you fight the
harder bosses over again on a game this hard with NO MORE CONTINUES? Anyway
you'll face The bull,cheetah pack,rock head,floating statue and ghost all over
again.
14. Axe Wielding Ogre
Level:12
Difficulty:4 out of 5
Health:Invincible??!!!!
Description: Yes you read right he cannot be harmed by your conventional means
of attack. There is only one way to beat him. First shoot at him a little bit
to let the game know you know he is invincible(no you really have to). Then go
and attack the cracked wall behind him to reveal.....
15.Rotting Dead Guy?
Level:12
Difficulty:10 out of 5
Health:High
Description:The final battle......once the wall breaks it reveals this dead
looking guy in a chair and the ogre dissapears. Now as if I need to tell you
he uses the standard 3 shot burst but at an alarming rate. Not to mention
he can do the dragons fire chain attack(yes it still homes in). Don't hold
back shoot him, have a friend shoot him use all your missiles.The time to end
this is Now!
16.Other stuff
Cowardly Enemies- some bosses will run away when you leave them flashing red
for too long. I've seen the mammoth run away without being red.
