-=-= II. Clan Coin Locations =-=-

-------------
A. - Stage 1
-------------

~~Easy~~

1st coin = After the first "missile attack" and you destroy the first pair
of ship mounted canons, there will be a brief pause and a third will appear
by itself. In a few moments the coin should be visible approaching the mid
section of the ship. Jump up to grab it as you sail on by.

2nd coin = Kick back all the missiles launched by the enemy ship to make a
box containing the coin to appear.

~~Normal~~

1st coin = Same as Easy, the coin just moves past the plane faster.

2nd coin = Same as Easy, you just have to kick back more missiles.

~~Hard~~

1st coin = Same as Easy, the coin just moves by faster.

2nd coin = Same as Easy, there are just more missiles to be kicked back.

-------------
B. - Stage 2
-------------

~~Easy~~

1st coin = The coin is hiding behind the large red crate when you first enter
the third large platform situated on the 1st map (this should be the same
platform with three small hell spawn that appear on it).

2nd coin = First area of the 2nd map. Before you traverse across the first
downed crane, drop down below the scaffolding into the flat area. Run behind
and around the staircase. The coin should be nestled in a small alcove there
in the stairs and the edge of the building.

3rd coin = At the beginning of the 3rd map, take the right path that leads to
the structure resembling a red and white water tower. It is floating just
above the tower.

~~Normal~~

1st coin = Once again, at the beginning of the 3rd map, over to the right near
that red and white water tower. This time, however, the coin is located in one
of those little ledges hanging from the sides of the building. When first
crossing the downed crane, it will be on the building's left side.

2nd coin = 4th map very close to the end of the stage. Like the last coin, it
is hidden in one of the ledges hanging from the sides of the building. The
correct ledge is the one situated right next to the crane you must bust to
reach the boss map. It is along the same side of the building as the crane.

~~Hard~~

1st coin = From the start of the 2nd map, run off the edge of the scaffolding
in front of you and fall down to the concrete below. Run to the corner of the
building foward and to the left of your current position and you should see
the coin floating there just under the scaffolding.

2nd coin = 4th map, at the beginning of the level immediately go to the right
side of the building you start on and drop to the little ledge on the side of
the building. The coin will be hovering in the air just a little bit beyond
that ledge. Jump out, grab it, and dash back.

-------------
C. - Stage 3
-------------

~~Easy~~

1st coin = 2nd map near the end. For the first two "gullies" where the train
tracks were depressed you had to go up and over them. For the last one, there
is a wall of junk above it and you are supposed to go in the corridor
underneath. Instead, jump up the side walls and cut down the thin wall of
junk. Among other things, you should find a coin hidden back there.

2nd coin = 4th map, after breaking the first hell spawn seal, enter the next
area and look at the back of the first pillar in this next mini section. The
coin should be near the top of the pillar.

3rd coin = Just after the 2nd coin you'll come to an area with a busted up
subway train bridging a fairly large gap. The coin should be along the right
side of the subway train at the other end of the gap (note: if you are looking
down the train from when you initially run into it, it will be on the train's
right side).

~~Normal~~

1st coin = At the very beginning of the 3rd map, turn around, and look at the
stretch of ceiling behind you. The coin will be hanging up there by the
ceiling.

2nd coin = 3rd map still, in the second passageway with the green sludge. Look
around along the ceiling for an area that is wire mesh instead of solid
concrete. You'll see the coin trapped above it. Just slash at the ceiling a
bit and the mesh should break. From there you can just up and collect the
coin. If you are stuck in the slime passage and can't find it, remember
that if you reach the steel door along the wall that you can break down,
you've gone slightly beyond the wire mesh's position. You may come out the top
from that hole in the ceiling but I don't recommend it as you might end up
missing...

3rd coin = ... this is also on the 3rd map, hidden above the upward slanting
path as you rise up from the second slime passageway. It ought to be very
close to the circular gratings that are on either side of the wall near the
ceiling at this part.

~~Hard~~

1st coin = At the very start of the 1st map, run up a little and then turn
left past the turnstiles into that little room. On the wall farthest to your
left when you enter you will find the coin floating a little above the floor.

2nd coin = 4th map, past the area with many hell spawn and pillars. Remember
that busted subway train you use as a bridge towards the end? The coin is
hanging from the middle of its underbelly. Jump over to the ledge with the
shuriken bundle then jump to the ledge beneath that one with the health item.
From there you should be able to nab the coin from under the train.

-------------
D. - Stage 4
-------------

~~Easy~~

1st coin = End of the 1st map, right around the first bottomless pit. Just
past the pit you will see a caged in area with one of those items that
increases the size of your life bar. Jump inside to get it, then scale
straight up the wall. You should reach a little pathway that etches through
the sides of the buildings. The coin is hidden next to one of the breakable
machines at an intersection in this little secret pathway.

2nd coin = 3rd map, after you unlock the second set of seals, go back to the
little white alcove in the buildings where one of the seal mirrors was. If you
look just slightly up, you ought to see a hole in the wall. Go up there to
find another passage going through the buildings similar to the one from the
1st area. The coin is up there next to one of the walls.

3rd coin = 4th map, find the only bottomless pit in the area. Look closely
to the side where it runs into the building rubble, and you should see a
little alcove cut into the rubble. Jump across the gap to the alcove and you
will find the coin tucked away in there.

~~Normal~~

1st coin = 1st map. After breaking the 3rd magic seal blocking your way, face
the street you now have access to and scale up the builings as high as
possible. You should see the coin up ahead; far above a 3 way intersection
in the streets.

2nd coin = 2nd map, in the big circular area where you can get a 30 enemy
tate. It's up in the air and rather far from most of the buildings. I
recommend that take out an enemy near it then use the extra jump to try to get
enough air to reach it. If that doesn't work you can try scaling the buildings
and leaping down to it.

3rd coin = 4th map, above the series of alcoves/tunnels that mark the end of
the level. Up above that little dirty roof is a thin piece of scaffolding. The
coin is floating a little bit above that. To get up there, you can leap from
an additional jump you receive from an enemy or double jump from the one of
the chain link fences bordering the roof, then air dash to the scaffolding's
side where you can grab onto it like a wall. From there you can jump atop it
and reach the coin.

~~Hard~~

1st coin = 2nd map, just after the wide circular area where you can get a
thirty enemy tate. It will be at the cresent shaped bottom less pit just after
that, floating in the air fairly close to the rubble along the side of the pit.
Jump up, grab it, and dash back to solid ground.

2nd coin = 3rd map, the coin is in a hidden rooftop area above the narrow
alleyway with a bottomless pit. It is sealed off at first, but after you break
all the seal mirrors go back to it. If you are moving through the correct
alley and away from the starting point, it should be on the left side. If you
jump all the way to the top, there's a little area with one piece of machinery
and the coin.

3rd coin = 4th map (the one with the brick tunnel/alcoves). It’s near the
tunnels/alcoves. If you jump up to the top of the light tower nearby and turn
around, you'll see the coin hanging way above the street in the air.

-------------
E. - Stage 5
-------------

~~Easy~~

1st coin = In the corridor of containers featuring those familiar red
construction cones, a coin is located along the side of one of the "walls".
This "wall" should be composed of three containers stacked atop each other;
the top one being red.

2nd coin = Just breeze through the stage as fast as possible. If you defeat
every possible enemy before the boss battle starts up, a box should fall from
the sky next to you. Bust it open for the coin.

~~Normal~~

1st coin = From the start of the level go straight and turn left with the flow
of the enemies. Once you get to a large cluster of those dark brown boxes,
start smashing them open. The coin is hidden amongst them.

2nd coin = Same as Easy, just kill those enemies as fast as you can.

~~Hard~~

1st coin = Proceed through the level as norma until you get to the string of
green wasp like enemies that lead you up to the red container suspended by the
crane that doesn't move. Go ahead and get rid of them, but make sure you make
it up to the side of the red container. Latch onto it and swivel and camera
around a little. You should see the coin hovering next to a gray container
(the gray container being on top of a stack of three). Make sure you are on
the broad side of the container that the enemies brought you up to and you
shouldn't have any trouble spotting it.

2nd coin = Same as Easy, takes more effort to kill all those enemies quickly.

-------------
F. - Stage 6
-------------

~~Easy~~

1st coin = There are two types of trucks in this level: ones you can ride on
top of and ones that you ride on the sides of (like walking on walls). There
is one part in the level and one part only featuring two "side riders" next to
each other. The coin will be hanging in the air at this part, and should run
past the side of the second "side rider" truck. Just jump to the second truck
at the right time to nab the coin.

2nd coin = Shortly after grabbing the 1st coin and once again riding on a "top
rider" truck, watch the other side of the road carefully. Another "side rider"
should drift by slowly with a coin floating in the middle of its side facing
you. This is easy to miss as you may be too busy tate-ing enemies to see it,
and it is not necessary to use that truck to hop to safety from an exploding
truck. Watch for it and you ought to see it.

~~Normal~~

1st coin = Same as in Easy, the coin just moves by the truck a bit faster.

2nd coin = Same as in Easy, the truck with the coin just moves a bit faster.

~~Hard~~

1st coin = Same as in Easy, but the coin approaches the truck later and more
slowly. Try jumping to the trucks a little later than your normally would and
you should get it without too many problems.

2nd coin = Same as in Easy but the coin will be hovering lower to the road and
the truck will be moving faster. Time your jumps carefully and it should'nt be
hard.

-------------
G. - Stage 7
-------------

~~Easy~~

1st coin = From the start of this stage, take the first left turn that you can
make and head all the way down the corridor. Turn right at the corridor's end
and go to the second door on the right. Break the seal mirror in that room and
defeat the enemies. Before leaving, swivel the camera around to look at the
top of the entrance to the room. You should see the coin hovering there.

2nd coin = 3rd map, in the second sloping room with a laser grid floor. At
the bottom of the room you ought to reach a small indent in the wall with a
few of the floating robots and the mirror seal tucked away in there. Pinned
against one of the thin walls in this indent in the coin.

3rd coin = Very beginning of the 3rd map. Before you walk through the first
door, turn to face the side area to your left. The coin will be high along the
wall over there.

~~Normal~~

1st coin = From the start of this stage, take the first left turn that you can
make, then take a right as soon as you have the chance. Go down that little
corridor until you spot the first door on the right. Enter that little room,
and from the entrance going to the room go right. The coin should be up in a
corner of the ceiling right in front of you now.

2nd coin = 4th map, as soon as you step out onto the scaffolding above the
giant bottomless pit. It will be just to the right of the first platform you
step out onto, floating in the air. Just out with a dash to grab it and then
drop down to a piece of scaffolding running across the middle. You may want
to save your air jump in case you need to make up for error margin, and to
"break you fall" so you don't flinch when you land.

3rd coin = 4th map, a little more than half way down the pit. It is floating
directly above one of the seal mirrors on a larger piece of the platform
scaffolding. Pretty hard to miss.

~~Hard~~

1st coin = 4th map, you can see it spinning underneath the first long piece
of scaffolding that extends all the way across the abyss. Slide off the
platform, use the double jump to nab it, and then drop down to the second
thin piece of scaffolding that extends all the way across the abyss. If you
didn't use it to get the coin, you can use the speed dash at the last minute
to "break your fall". Just make sure you land on the scaffolding.

2nd coin = 4th map, right around the last group of enemies before the exit.
You can see the coin floating above the abyss to the left of the enemies.
I recommend dropping from the scaffolding above and then using your air jump
and speed dash to recover to one of the large platforms below.

-------------
H. - Stage 8
-------------

~~Easy~~

1st coin = 1st map, after you reach the top of the scaffoldings that hang
over that gaping abyss and enter the small room ahead with the three stubby
sword wielding lizard guys and the large mortar, look at the top of the door
frame of the door you entered the room through. The coin should be floating up
there.

2nd coin = In the 3rd map, right before going up the elevator shaft go to the
broken door near the shaft within the wide corridor leading to the shaft.
Break open the door with a cut and enter the room. You'll see the coin across
on the other side of the room as you enter.

~~Normal~~

1st coin = In the 2nd map, at the top of the first long room with an upward
slant. Once you reach the top, a derelict door should be on your left (which
will lead through the rest of the level) and on your right will be an indent
in the wall with metal grating over it. Inside that large indent is the coin.

2nd coin = 4th map, go up the elevator shaft and take a right into the smaller
side corridor as soon as you reach the main corridor. Take a left in between
the room blocks as soon as you can, then. There will be many barriers in the
way, but you can break them. I recommend latching onto a wall and hitting them
from there since you swing much faster. At any rate, keep going straight
through the barriers and you should reach the coin in no time.

~~Hard~~

1st coin = 2nd map, at the top of the first long room with an upward slant.
One you reach the top, swivel the camera upward. You should see it just before
where the roof begins to slant amongst pipes and metal beams. Jump up to it
from the wall.

2nd coin = 4th map, near the beginning of it. As soon as you enter the
elevator shaft, swing the camera around to face the way you came. If you look
up, you should see the coin hovering on the wall just above the entrance to
the shaft that you just walked through.

-------------
I. - Stage 9
-------------

~~Easy~~

1st coin = After the sub surfaces for the second time and you kick the missile
back, get on the boat that is to the most right (assuming you are looking
towards the direction the boats are moving in). The coin should be visible in
the air and you can nab it with a quick jump as it moves past you next to the
boat's left side.

2nd coin = After the sub surfaces the third time, kick the missile back and
dispatch the enemies as quickly as possible. If you do it correctly, two boxes
should fall on two different boats once they are gone. One contains a makimono
and the other contains the coin.

~~Normal~~

1st coin = This coin will also appear after the submarine surfaces a second
time. Kick the missile back and then make sure you are on the boat that is
farthest in "the back" of the four. It should drift down past you fairly close
to this boat's left side.

2nd coin = Same as in Easy, watch out for it after the sub's third surface.

~~Hard~~

1st coin = Same as in Normal.

2nd coin = Same as in Easy.

-------------
J. - Stage 10
-------------

~~Easy~~

1st coin = At the very start of the level, it will be in plain view right in
front of you and slightly to your left near a ledge. It's pretty much
impossible to miss.

2nd coin = At the start of the 4th map, the coin is once again in plain
sight. It rests about half way down a vertical slab of road on the other side
of the first gap you must cross. You can climb on this surface, so it is easy
to get.

~~Normal~~

1st coin = 1st map, right after you have to drop down with the road, turn
around and look behind you. There are a series of small chunks of road
suspended by wire mesh to the road above. Jump and dash over to the mesh
suspending them, then jump around the mesh and onto the first platform you
can reach. The coin is sitting on the platform farther from the main path.

2nd coin = At the beginning of the 3rd map, dispatch of the enemies currently
in your way. Climb up the right side of the vertically pushed chunk of road,
then walk to the edge of it on the other side and use the camera to look down.
The coin is situated at the very edge of the road hanging down there. Be
careful not to fall into the abyss when picking up the coin.

3rd coin = 4th map, across the first big gap and in the midst of a mob of
enemies. It is floating haphazardously above the first of two large U-shaped
holes in the road here. Fortunately, there are plenty of enemies here to
provide you with a few extra speed dashes and jumps, so grabbing it should
not be a problem.

~~Hard~~

1st coin = 2nd map, right at the beginning. Swivel the camera around over head
before you even move in order to see it. Get it and move on.

2nd Coin = 3rd map. Search under the broken up road after around the third
wave of enemies. After scaling the vertical wall and after a 2 defeating two
of the armored bees and a little spider fellow, the next platform will be on
the correct platform. If you look under the bridge under the "fence" like area
you will see a coin trap between two walls. Climb down the road side while
facing towards the direction you want to go to finish the level. You will see
a piece of the "fence" jutting out from the middle of the piece of road. Jump
around the road and dash over to that fence to grab onto it. Now swivel around
your camera to face the back of that piece of road you just climbed down to
get here and you should see the coin. You should be able to grab onto the wall
surfaces near the coin. Just jump over to it and grab it, then leave the way
you came.

3rd coin = Same as in Normal, except the coin is over the second of the two
large U-shaped holes in the road. Use the same tactic to nab it.

-------------
K. - Stage 11
-------------

~~Easy~~

1st coin = It's in the 3rd map. Just play through until you get to an area
with solid ledges hanging off the cliffside for you to run on. After running
behind a waterfall you should come to a gap in the ledges. You may think it is
a bottomless pit, but if you look down you should see that there is solid
ground down there. Hop on down and look for the coin in one of the corners of
the little patch of earth you are now standing on.

2nd coin = 4th map, just after the area that's nothing but walls and
waterfalls. As you step through the door to leave the area, don't jump across
the gap to the roof ahead of you yet. Instead, jump onto the climbable part
of the wall around the door. The coin will be on top of the small decorative
roof placed above the door there.

~~Normal~~

1st coin = This one's a bit tricky to explain, but follow along exactly and
you should find it. From the very start of this stage, follow the ledge along
to the waterfalls, then take the path that goes behind them. Continue
following this path around and defeat the three armored bee enemies. Now, you
should see a piece of land extending out in front of you with the shuriken
bundle item floating on it. Look down to the left along the vertical face of
that piece of land and you should see a little ledge extending from it. Now
jump over and pick up the shurikens, then drop down to that ledge. Walk to the
side of that ledge fartherest from the level's starting point and swivel the
camera around. You should spot another smaller ledge hanging from the side of
the same piece of land slightly lower than the one you are currently on. That
is where you can find this coin.

2nd coin = 3rd map, right around the area where your path takes you behind
the waterfall here. It's out hanging in the air amongst some green platforms
that continuously rise and fall. The idea here is to get on the highest one,
jump out to the coin, and land on one of the lower ones. Watch for when the
platforms rise and drop; it helps to time your jump correctly.

3rd coin = 4th map, and a pain to reach too. Get out of the area with all
the waterfalls and make it to that floating long black strip of roof. Now
turn and face towards the exit of the level. The coin is at the top of one
of those pillars (it has that little bit of black roofing sticking out of it).
From your current position, it ought to be the farthest on the right. Dispatch
of any enemies that may distract you and then jump from the various sections
of the pillars you can climb on until you get to the one over to the right as
mentioned before. Let's say that the side with the piece of roofing sticking
out is the "front" of the pillar. With that in mind, the coin is located on
the back of the pillar. Jump around the sides until you can get to the back,
then go up as high as you can and you should find it.

~~Hard~~

1st coin = 1st map, just a little ways along the path from the start point.
It's hovering above a big gaping bottomless pit next to the first enemy you
fight in the stage. I recommend using the double jump to reach the coin, then
locking onto that enemy and using the kick and speed dash to return to the
platform.

2nd coin = 2nd map, which has you running around the narrow ledge, within a
hidden section. Go by the two skinny waterfalls near the end where you fight
tons of flying hellspawn. There's an opening above the second waterfall with a
box in it. Go in there, and the coin is on the opposite side of the shaft, way
toward the bottom. Use the camera to spot it first before going after it.

3rd coin = 3rd map, not too far from the start and another tricky one. If you
recall on the first map in the second half of it, there was a little side
tunnel in the walls with nothing but armored foes that had a gold star coin at
the end of it. It was a long corridor of earthen walls and no floor; just
bottom less pits. Here, you have an identical little tunnel trailing off away
from the direction you need to go in this corridor. The clan coin is located
here. However, the coin is fairly high up in the air above you. You can likely
use an enemy during air tate to gain an extra jump to get you high enough to
grab it.

4th coin = 4th map, on the long thin floating black roof just after the
waterfall area. Along the small wall draping down from the roof facing the
end of the stage hangs the coin you seek. Use careful and precise jumps to
claim it safely.

-------------
L. - Stage 12
-------------

~~Easy~~

1st coin = 1st map near the beginning. From the start go down the narrow
corridor and turn right into the ante room located there. Just to the right of
the entrance the coin hangs, very close to where one of the robot wasp things
will spawn.

2nd coin = 2nd map, right after the first big room with mirror seals, a
bottomless pit, and a thin green walkway. As soon as you enter the tunnels
again the coin should be in plain view along the wall of the first little pit
you have to scale up.

3rd coin = 3rd map, climb up the giant tree until the point where you have to
scale up broken pieces of road affixed to the walls behind the tree in order
to climb higher. Before going up, run around and check all the little floating
platforms at this "level" of the tree. The coin will be on one of the little
green platforms; close to where you came up from to get to this "level".

~~Normal~~

1st coin = It's at the third or fourth four-way intersection between those
rooms with the seal mirrors on the 1st map. Doesn't matter that much, though,
just always swivel the camera around at those intersections and look for the
dead end with those odd green bumps growing out of the ground. The coin should
be floating not too high above those bumps waiting to be claimed.

2nd coin = 3rd map, on the second large pincer-shaped platform going up the
tree. It's floating slightly above and in between the "points" of the
"pincers".

3rd coin = 3rd map and very hard to miss; it is sitting on one of the
platforms you must use to jump up to the most top level of the tree. If you
are at the top level and missed it, try backtracking just a little bit. It
should be easy to spot.

4th coin = 4th map, climb to the very top of this tree and get ride of the
enemies there. Now, there are two long thin slabs of rock that swing back and
forth horizontally. You can take either on to finish the level, but take the
one that is on your left (when facing towards them). If you stand out on the
edge of that rock slab, it will swing you over into the coin floating up in
the air near it.

~~Hard~~

1st coin = 3rd map. It's at the very top of the tree. Once you clear out all
the enemies, face towards the tunnel in the wall. It will then be at the
farthest edge of the left branch. It a bit far from the platform, but you
should be able to double jump to it and dash back to the branch without too
much trouble.

2nd coin = 4th map, above the beige platform on the top of the tree. It is
high up there so you can do one of two things: either drop down from a higher
platform and grab it or use an extra jump to nab it while perform an air tate
against the enemies that appear on that platform.

-=-= III. Card Locations =-=-

Note: A special thanks to Spenze for allowing the inclusion of this portion.

Card 01 - Found in Stage 1 [normal]
Kick back all the missiles. Then go to the left wing of the jet. The box will
then appear in the middle.

Card 02 - Found in Stage 5 [hard]
Just stand on top of the moving crane. It'll appear after the crane moves to a
certain point.

Card 03 - Found in Stage 11 [normal]
3rd map. There's only one waterfall here. Jump onto top of the green platform
right behind the waterfall and it'll appear.

Card 04 - Found in Stage 10 [normal]

-=-= IV. Version History =-=-

Initial Entry: Version # 1.0 - I completed the clan coin FAQ and put in
Spenze's Card FAQ. This is likely going to be the only version I'll compose
but if it is evident that clarification is needed any where I will certainly
revise and update what little minor errors are present over time.

-=-= V. Credits =-=-

Thank you to...

GameFAQs - For posting this thing

Sega - For making the game

Nightshade Board - For providing assistance to me when I needed to dig up
all the clan coins the first time around. I will take a moment to mention the
screen names of those who were particularly helpful with coins in stages 4,
10, 11, and 12 on Hard Mode and a few others:

jhaines
Gen2000
satsuki kyouou
Dark Symphony

Spenze - For allowing me to employ the use of his basic Card Guide and build
upon what he had typed up. Seeing as how the cards were giving me a really
hard time, I couldn't have done it without you.

Paul, Jairo, and Z - For keeping me company off and on while composing this
thing and helping me stay sane.
