1) Introduction
In Monster Hunter, a hunter can obtain and use skills
provided that they have the correct combination of
Armor. Some of these combinations are very
obvious; most of the time if you wear all of the
Armor from a certain group(ie - Bone, Velociprey,
Rathalos, etc) you will get some sort of skill.
You can find these combinations in the Basic Set
Combinations section of this FAQ.

However, some combinations are extremely tricky.
Most people would never guess them, never try them,
and never be able to take advantage of them. These
combinations are listed in the Abnormal Armor
Combinations section of this FAQ.

Using this FAQ is supposed to be fairly easy, so
hopefully it will be. On the left, I have listed
the Armors that are required to get certain skills.
The Armor is ordered like this:

Head Armor
Body Armor
Hand Armor
Waist Armor
Leg Armor

If there is no required Armor for a certain body part
(which means you can wear anything you want there
and still get the skill) there will be a --- in that
Armor's place.

The skills gained from wearing a combination of Armor
are on the right. Pretty easy, eh?

Almost all of this information was directly translated
by me from a Japanese website:

Because of this, some of the names of Armor may be a
little different than what you are used to seeing, but
I've made sure it's easy for anyone to figure out.

For Blade-type Armor made of Bunnies, usually it will be:

Bunny Helm
Bunny Mail
Bunny Vambraces
Bunny Tasset
Bunny Greaves

For Gun-type Armor made of Bunnies, usually it will be:

Bunny Cap
Bunny Vest
Bunny Guard
Bunny Coat
Bunny Leggings

..so if you pay attention to the Armor names, you should
be able to figure it out no problem!

Finally, no doubt a few things have probably changed
and are thus different from the Japanese version of
Monster Hunter, which this FAQ is based on. If you should
find any of this information to be incorrect, please
drop me a line. I'll change it and credit you ASAP.
