1.0 The FAQ
=============
Here is some general information about this FAQ.
---------------------
1.1 Version History
---------------------
7/7/02 (1.0) - Started this FAQ. Created sections 1.0 to 4.1 inclusive.
9/7/02 (1.1) - Omissions and corrections update, a few minor changes and
the credits section.
10/7/02 (1.2) - Added to the postcards list and career mode match
bonuses. Added the basic movelists and began The
Legends section. Added some double moves.
11/7/02 (1.3) - Had a problem with the squares showing up incorrectley,
hopefully I've sorted this out now. Plus GameFAQ's didn't
seem to like my Greek alphabet version depictions, so I've
changed that also.
15/7/02 (1.4) - Made some corrections, including the version number mistake.
-------------------
1.2 Author's Note
-------------------
Hi there. I noticed that there were very few FAQS available for this rather
under-rated game, so I thought I'd have a go at it. Hope you like it.
If you have any corrections, additions or questions, please feel free to
contact me. And please be polite, I'm more likely to listen then.
Oh yeah, one last thing, please don't send me any viruses. If you do, I'll
contact your email provider and maybe even your ISP and get you banned.
Seriously.
Apart from that, take care and have fun.
Pretty Noose.

1.3 FAQ Basics
----------------
Searching - If you're having trouble finding what you want, use your Internet
Provider's 'Find' utility to help you out. This can be found in the
'Edit' menu on Internet Explorer.
Button Reprisentation - For the ease of use (and writing) this guide will
use the following key:
X = X Button
T = Triangle Button

O = Circle Button
U = Directional Pad Up
D = Directional Pad Down
L = Directional Pad Left
R = Directional Pad Right
L1 = 1st Left Shoulder Button
L2 = 2nd Left Shoulder Button

2.0 In-Game Screens
=====================
Navigation Basics:
X - Accept
T - Back
Directional Pad/L3 - Move Cursor
---------------
2.1 Main Menu
---------------
Exhibition - Takes you to the exhibition screen where you may choose from the
following list of matches:
- Versus
- 3 Way Dance
- 4 Way Dance
- Tag Team
You may also choose an Arena for your match to be staged in by
selecting "Arena" from the menu.
Career - Choose your legend and take him from a nobody to the World's Champion.
Create - Your favourite wrestler not in the game? Then simply create him (or
her) by using this mode. Attributes and such are made available by
playing career mode.
Tournament - Allows you to start a new tournament or load and delete an
existing tournament. Choose from Versus, Tag Team and Tag Belt
tournaments. In both Versus and Tag Team tournaments, you are able
to specify the amount of teams/wrestlers in the tournament, and how
many times each team/wrestler must face each other.
Options - This is where you may tweak your in-game experience, or use it to
load and save data with a memory card. Options are:
- Save (Save all game data)
- Load (Load previous game data)
- Credits (view the game's credits)
- Difficulty (Choose from Jobber, Mid Card and Legend. Easy, Medium and
Hard respectively)
- Blood (Turns blood off and on. Needs to be on for extra points in
career mode)
- Managers (Determines whether a manager will accompany your legend
to the ring. Needs to be on for some timely interruptions)
- Entrances (Turns the players' entrances on and off. Pointless having
them on as they're not the real entrances)
- Vibration (Determines whether your joypad vibrates or not when you're
hit)
- TKO (Technical Knock Out. Reduces the amount of damage you can
actually do during a match, but also gives you extra match
excitement. Best to leave it off, as it's the only way you'll
ever end the match using a finisher)
- Speech (Determines the volume of the in-game speech)
- Sound FX (Determines the volume of the in-game sound effects)
- Music (Determines the volume of the in-game music)
- Stereo/Mono (Choose to suit your TV)
---------------------
2.2 Loading Screens
---------------------
In between all the action, when the game needs loading time, a bunch of legend
'postcards' are displayed periodically. These include:
- The Road Warriors
- Nikolai Volkoff, Back Breaker
- Koko B. Ware
- Von Erich Family
- "Superstar" Billy Graham, Bearhug
- Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat
- The Rock N Roll Express
- Mr. Fuji

- Superfly Snuka
- Bret "Hitman" Hart
I may have missed a few, so I'll add them later if I have.
=================
3.0 Career Mode
=================
After you've chosen your legend, you then have to take him to the respective
titles of the US, and finally the World. To do this you must fill your
reputation bar to 100%, at which point you will get a title shot. Defeat the
champion and then you must defend the belt succesfully before moving on.
-------------------------------------
3.1 Reputation Bar/Match Excitement
-------------------------------------
Depending on what you do in the ring, your match excitement bar will rise. At
the end of the match, your excitement bar is transfered into your reputation
bar. Below is a list of bonuses which will add to your match excitement, and
therefor your reputation. Some 'bonuses' will also reduce your match excitement
but not your reputation, as once you've earned a reputation, it will only
get better.
If you hit all of these bonuses, it is possible to get a match excitement
rating of well over 200%, and therefor it's possible to get a title shot after
two matches. Some bonuses are only available in tag matches, and these will be
denoted by an asterix '*'. Also, a plus '+' will be used to denote a positive
bonus, and a minus '-' will be used to denote a negative 'bonus'.
The titles up for grabs are:
- Pacific
- Midwest
- Southwest
- Northeast
- South East
- World
-----------------
3.2 The Bonuses
-----------------
Ref Bump (+) - Knock the Ref over.
Blood Match (+) - Cause your opponent to bleed. Only available if blood is
turned on in options.
High Spot Bonus (+) - Ok, after lots of work and help (see credits), it seems
that any move that drops your opponent on the back of their head or
neck will award you the high spot bonus, as does hitting them with
enough punches. Moves like the Elevated Powerbomb are great for it.
High Spot: A big move that evokes a good response.
Extreme Damage (+) - The more moves you do, and the bigger they are, determines
whether you get this one or not.
Frequent Tags* (+) - Make frequent tags with your partner.
Finisher (+) - Hit your opponent with your legend's signature move.
Combo Bonus (+) - Hit your opponent with as many combos as you can. I think you
need around five for this bonus.
Reversal Bonus (+) - Reverse your opponents moves to gain this one. Again, I
think you need around five reversals.
Weapon Attack (+) - Hit your opponent with a weapon.
Move Variety (+) - Hit your opponent with as many different moves as you can.
Knock Out (+) - Hit your opponent so much that he loses consciousness.
Requires TKO to be turned on in the options.
2 on 1 Move* (+) - Double team your opponent.
Cheating* (+) - Keep your team mate in the ring for longer than the designated
five count. Referee must be conscious.
Break Up Pin Fall (+) - This only works in a tag match and a three or four way
dance. Kick your opponent while he is covering for the pin.
Domination (+) - I got this by defeating all three other wrestlers in a four
way dance. I'm not sure if it works in three way.
Victory (+) - Win the match.
Boring Moves (-) - Only use standard moves.
Stalling (-) - Stay away from the action for too long.
Ignoring Partner* (-) - Don't tag in your partner.
Repetetive Moves (-) - Use the same move over and over again.
Defeat (-) - Lose the match.
-----------------
3.3 The Matches
-----------------
This also goes for the Exhibition and Tournament modes.

----------------
3.4 The Arenas

- Pacific

- Southwest
- Northeast
- Southeast
- World
- Backlot

4.3 Double Moves
==================
The following is a list of all the double moves in the game, more will be
added when I find them. Double moves are done by two legends trying to

is performed depends on the position of both attacking legends and who they
are.

Double Chest Breaker
Double Drop Kick
Double Spine Buster
