This guide aims to catalog and provide detailed information for every weapon
in King's Field: The Ancient City. This guide was written primarily for the US
release. I have, however, made an effort to list weapon/NPC names for the PAL
version as well. The stats and mechanics between both versions are identical.
Why bother making a weapon FAQ?
-------------------------------
Well, simply put, because I wanted to. I was disappointed to see that this game
had been out more than ten years and nobody had compiled this information yet.
I, personally, wanted to know many of the things present in this FAQ during my
first runthrough of the game, so I decided I'd investigate them myself and
share the results with everybody.
Why now, more than ten years after the game's release?
------------------------------------------------------
Why not? The game was never extremely popular to begin with. It has a niche
crowd, and people within that niche will probably come back and play the game
again at some point. As to why I didn't make this guide sooner, I suppose I
just didn't have the drive to do so before now.

// 2. Useful Information (#INFO) //
//===========================================================================//
About Weapon Durability:
------------------------
Weapon durability determines the effectiveness of the weapon. At 100/100
durability, the weapon is at full strength and its attributes are at their
maximum for their level. Durability will decrease with use. I don't know
exactly what determines the amount of durability lost per attack, but it seems
to vary between weapons (probably a hidden value). I have been able to
determine through observation that the amount of durability lost is inversely
proportional to your physical stamina when you attack. That is, the lower your
stamina, the more durability you lose on that attack. I have never observed a
loss in durability on a ranged weapon.
Durability will never fall below 50 or rise above 100.
Weapon stats are calculated as the % durability of their maximum. Thus, you can
find the value for a stat at a given durability by multiplying the stat's
maximum value by the % durability and rounding down:
Attribute = Max * Durability / 100
You can have your equipment repaired by the Earth Folk blacksmith, Harmurah
Forgefist, after you've thawed him out roughly half-way through the game.
About Weapon Levels:
--------------------
Weapons take exactly 180 attacks to reach level 2, and exactly 300 (more)
attacks to reach level 3. This applies to ranged weapons, too, so leveling
your bows is expensive! It doesn't seem to matter if your stamina is full or
not when you attack; as long as you have SOME stamina and your weapon doesn't
chink and recoil like you just hit a metal wall, the attack will count toward
your weapon level.
About Sword Magic:
------------------
Every melee weapon (including your fist) is capable of unleashing magic. This
is called "Sword Magic" (or at least, I call it that). Your weapon must be
level 3 in order to use sword magic, and there are two types of sword magic:
Type A and Type B. All weapons have only one type. Type A magic is generic and
tends to be found on weapons you wouldn't expect to be imbued with magic, like
your fists or the plain old Short Sword. Type B magic is much more impressive
and unique to each weapon that has it.
Type A magic can be activated by pressing the attack button (Square), then
pressing the magic button (Triangle) mid-swing. You must time the Triangle
button carefully or it won't work. Some weapons, like the Holycrest, are easy
to time because of their long attack animation, but others, like your fist, are
more difficult. Type B magic can be activated by pressing X and Square, then
Triangle mid-swing.
TYPE A: Square, Triangle (mid-swing)
TYPE B: X + Square, Triangle (mid-swing)
Also, your blue stamina gauge (top-left) must be full in order to use sword
magic, and you must have the required amount of mana. The mana cost for each
weapon is given in this FAQ.
Big thanks to Seorin's FAQ for the information on sword magic.
This section contains a list of every weapon in the game. Each subsection
contains different orderings or groups/categories.

This section is dedicated to the individual stats of each weapon in the game.
In addition to the information you'd find in the game's UI, I calculate the
total attack by summing the weapon's Slash, Stab, and Hit attributes, and I
list the type of sword magic the weapon can use. I also provide some of my own
comments/opinions about the more notable weapons, and describe where each
weapon is found.
Weapons are listed in alphabetical order and separated into three categories:
1) One-handed melee weapons
2) Two-handed melee weapons
3) Ranged weapons
This was done because I figured somebody interested in comparing values was
more likely to be interested in only one of these three types at a time. For
example, if you wanted to know whether or not to replace your current bow,
you'd only be interested in ranged weapons, and wouldn't want to scroll through
everything else.
After each weapon name, I note the name(s) for that weapon in the PAL version
in parentheses.
Note:
-----
Each listed stat will have three values. These values correspond to weapon
level 1/2/3, respectively. For example, if you see "Slash 155/160/166", it
means the weapon's Slash attribute is 155 at level 1, 160 at level 2, and 166
at level 3.
(*) Denotes a non-unique weapon. That is, there is more than one version of the
weapon. Usually one version of the weapon can be found laying around and
another version can be bought from a merchant. In my experience, the only
difference between versions is a minor change in the description and a
point or two change in attack attributes, but they are otherwise identical.
I will try to list the stats of the version found laying around first, and
the merchant version(s) afterwards.

Found in the flood part of the city, floating in the water. From the save point
in the Great Graveyard, go up the stairs (away from the flooded gate), take a
left, go down the hallway, enter the door, and continue to the next room.
Follow the path down the spiral staircase into the water, past the skeletons,
and into the building on the right. In the middle of the spiral staircase in
this building and up a bit, the Ancient Sword is floating in mid-water. Travel
up the stairs a bit, then jump off and snag the sword.
(**) This sword is part of the Ancient set. All items in the set are cursed
when worn individually, but when worn together the curses go away. The
curse on this item is darkness.
This sword is really pretty terrible, even without the curse. Don't bother with
it.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Black Scar (Flame Sword)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Slash 76/ 77/ 80 Hit 53/ 66/ 71 A magic sword imbued with a living
Stab 55/ 60/ 75 Total 184/203/226 flame.

Found in the Earth Folk Refinery in the room right next to the save point. It
can only be obtained after placing the Icon of Ice in the Fire Caverns. The
Black Scar is surrounded by a small pool of lava. Once the room proper has been
drained of lava, you can pick the sword up by edging up close to the lava pool
(without touching the lava) and snag it.
This is a pretty strong weapon, and it's worth leveling it up for that sexy
type B sword magic.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Broad Sword (*) (Wide Blade Sword)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Found in the Great Graveyard near the entrance to the Widda Egg Field. Starting
from the Egg Field entrance, go up the stairs to the left, and enter the next
room. Jump down and go up the stairs on the other side of the room. The Broad
Sword is to the right.
The second variant of this weapon is sold by Chad Breshears after he moves to
the Treasury (The City, Level 1) for 8200 gold.

Found in a series of underwater caverns near the Ocean Palace. From the save
point on the shore, facing the water, head left, then enter the first cave to
the left. Continue along the path until you are above the lighthouse area. Go
left along the cliff face. There is a ledge underwater that you can jump down
to. It is close by a ship wreck. Jump down, then walk until you are above the
water inside a cavern. Go left up ahead, and enter the water again. Go right
and exit the water. Up ahead, go right and drop down into the water. Go
straight, and keep going until you enter circular cavern. The Broken Katana is
in the center of the room.
This weapon always has a durability of 50/100. Repairing it transforms the
weapon into the Windslayer. The Windslayer will ALWAYS be level 1 when you
receive it, even if you leveled the Broken Katana already, so don't use the
Broken Katana. Ever.

Found inside a pillar of ice in The City, Level 2. Go through the South Gate in
the Center Tower, Level 2 area. Take the second left, and go forward. Drop down
and go left, then continue up the stairs. Go through the doorway on the right,
then go to the room on the left. Hit the ice pillar with a fire spell, and it
will shatter, exposing the Crystaline Blade.
Very good sword that will probably be the best weapon you'll have up until late
game (when you get the Wavercrasher or Moonlight Sword). It gets considerably
better at level 3 (+81 total attack!).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dark Defiler (Dark Staff)

Very rarely dropped by the floating purple skull enemies in the Great
Graveyard. If you're trying to find one, your best bet is to save at the Great
Graveyard savepoint (in the flooded area of The City, Level 1), then enter the
graveyard and kill the skull that's immediately in front of you. If he doesn't
drop it, reload your save from the menu and try again.

Found in the lower underground graveyard behind a secret door. When entering
the graveyard through the palace underground area, go down the stairs and take
a right. Enter the room there. At the far end, behind a pile of bones, press
the X button on the wall and it will open up to a small corridor. The sword can
be found by examining a gravestone at the end of this corridor.
Also note that the secret corridor is actually shown on the caretaker's map...
This is a good weapon to use against the poisonous mushrooms, as they are weak
to fire damage. The low hit damage makes it ineffective versus skeletons,
however.

You always have these. Just unequip your weapon by selecting "None" to fight
like a man.
The major increase in damage from level to level makes your fists a better
weapon (surprisingly) than the Wooden Club. They also do not have durability,
making them more reliable than conventional weapons early on, and since they do
not weigh anything, your stamina regenerates very quickly. The only downside
is that they do not have a very high range.
Take the time to level these to 2 early on (should only take ~15-20 minutes)
and you won't regret it.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Forest Carver (Dwellers' Dagger)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Slash 60/ 68/ 78 Hit 21/ 28/ 42 A large knife used among the Forest

Located in the Underground Palace in a chest above the door in the arrow-
trapped room. To get to it, go to the Guardian's Gate (the area that leads to
The Center Tower area). Look away from the door leading to the tower, take the
staircase on the right, and keep going until you find a door leading to a
catwalk. The chest containing this sword is at the end of the catwalk.
This weapon is well-balanced damage-wise, but it's very short and the lack of
type B sword magic is disappointing.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Frostbite (Ice Sword)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Found in the Earth Folk caverns right next to the fireplace where Harmurah
Forgefist repairs your equipment (once you've thawed him out). If you haven't
thawed Forgefist out yet, this is the room with the warp sign on the floor.
This weapon is extremely useful against the fire-type enemies you encounter in
the Earth Folk area. Unfortunately, the refinery (up ahead) is frozen over when
you first get there, making this weapon less effective until you progress
further.
The health regen on this weapon is 12 HP/min.

Found behind a bed in the lower left bedroom of the Underground Palace sleeping
quarters. If you're not sure where this is, face the arrow trap in the big room
and go left. The sleeping quarters are at the far end of the hallway.
The second variant of this weapon is sold by Ramirez Martin in The City, Level

While not particularly noteworthy, this makes for a decent hit weapon if you
haven't leveled your fists by this point in the game.

Located in the King's Mausoleum. Facing away from the bell, the sword is on a
small ledge on the left side of the room.
A very good weapon that will most likely be better than your current weapons
when you find it. It does extremely well against undead opponents (as the
description says).
If you didn't ring the bell (using magic or arrows or something), then you may
have to fight off the dozen or so undead archers here, giving you a chance to
see how powerful the Holycrest is against them.
The only problem with this sword is how fast the durability runs down on it...

Found in the Palace Underground. Head through the door that is originally
guarded by the arrow traps. Go straight and enter a dark room with four
skeletons. The sword is held by a statue to the right. Examine the statue to
get the sword. This one is initially at 60 durability, so it won't be very
useful until later in the game when you can have your weapons repaired.
The second variant of this sword is located near the King's Room. From the
King's Room, facing away from the throne, go through the door into the room
with all of the suits of armor. Go the far wall of this room (past the Passage
of Light), then take a right, and go through the door at the end of the hall.
In the next room, take the door on the left and follow the corridor to three
chests. The sword is located in the middle chest, which is also trapped. Be
prepared to take damage while retrieving it.
The third variant of this sword is sold by Chad Breshears, after he moves to
The Center Tower, for 2800 gold.

already leveled the Lawful Blade.

in each game (except for King's Field 2, but you're not supposed to actually
get it in that game). The Lawful Blade turns into this after it is exposed to
the heart of the Holy Forest. Collect all four Black Eyes (they are in the
chests by the Holy Forest fountain of life) and use them on the door behind the
King's throne after you've been through the Passage of Light. Proceed up the
steps and examine the stone at the top. If you have the Lawful Blade, it will
be removed from your inventory and you'll be able to pick up the Moonlight

The third variant of this weapon is sold by Ramirez Martin in The City, Level 3

The second variant of this weapon is sold by Ramirez Martin in The City, Level

Notable for being long, stabby, and quick. That's about it. If you're not
comfortable getting close to enemies, this is a good choice for you, but keep
in mind it's only going to be effective against fleshy opponents vulnerable to
stab (I suppose gooey opponents are vulnerable, too).

Found in front of a skeleton on the Old Battlefield. After exiting the jail,
go along the path until you see the broken bridge on the right. The sword is in
front of it.
This weapon has the highest total base damage in the game (that I know of) and
even inflicts the poison status effect. The only problem is that it
occasionally poisons you, as well! Level 3 Purity makes this weapon safer to
handle, but also makes the poison effect obsolete.
I've heard it mentioned that the skeleton next to this sword is that of Lord
Myu, but I have not been able to verify this. Plausibly, it could also be the
remains of Arx Angelos, whose spirit mentions he has just finished his "finest
work" and must "deliver it to the battlefront." He couldn't be talking about
the Moonlight Sword, as that particular weapon already existed in the world
(see the previous games), and since the only weapon you find on the Old
Battlefield is the Scorpion, it's logical to assume it is the Scorpion to which
he refers. Therefore, the skeleton is either that of Arx Angelos or the person
to whom he delivered the sword, most likely Lord Myu.
Since spirits in the world of King's Field tend to remain in the area where
they originally died (hence hearing them talk near their skeletal remains), it
seems less likely that these bones belong to Arx Angelos, but who knows?

This is an interesting weapon. It made an appearance in the first and third
King's Field games, but I'm not sure about the second game. The design is a bit
peculiar, and I don't think it would work for a real weapon, but whatever...
Other than its ridiculous Light attribute, it's not that remarkable.

Found in the back of a small cave on the coast between the lighthouse and the
Ocean Palace. From the save point on the shore, facing the water, go left and
continue into the ankle-high water. The second cave on the left is the one you
want, but be careful, as it is initially populated by 4-5 enemies. The Tsunami
is in the back of the cave by a pile of bones, and is slightly difficult to see
due to the water.
A highly specialized weapon that carries a ton of water magic with it. It is
highly effective against stab-weak enemies, and its sword magic is pretty cool,
too.

Found in a pool of poisonous water in the Widda Egg Field. Starting from the
Egg Field save point, go right and ride the cart to the other side of the
track. Go through the door to the left and continue into the caverns ahead. Go
right, then straight. The poisonous water will be on the right, and a line of
archers will be on the left (if you haven't already killed them). The
Venomblade is near the back of the pool. You should be able to see it from the
land, so there's no need to wade through the water until you've spotted it.
Unless I misrecorded the level 2 stats for this weapon, this is the only
example of a weapon's stat (in this case, Hit) decreasing upon level up.

Found in a secret room near the faces that shoot fire arrows (The City, Level 2
-- West Gate). Enter the door between the fire-arrow-spewing stone faces, then
take a left. Go straight through the next door (if it is guarded by magic, you
need to beat the boss in the room to the right), then go through the right-most
door in front of you. On the right side of the far wall of this room there is a
small, square-shaped hole near the ceiling. Shoot an arrow/bolt through the
hole and a staircase will come down from the ceiling, leading to a chest
containing the Earthquake.
I detest using this weapon. It's so slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow. The
'sword' magic, however, is fairly neat.

you find the Rock of Life). The miner who drops the pickaxe is in the "Rest

Notable for being able to break sturdy wooden containers and barricades, and
for its relatively long reach compared to other weapons you have available at
the time you get this. Still not a very good weapon unless you plan on grinding
it up to level 3 early on (why would you?).

This is probably the easiest sword in the whole game to miss. It is located to
the left of the save point outside of the Ocean Palace, but it is invisible.
The only way to find it is by equipping the Broken Katana / Windslayer, at
which point you will hear gusts of wind that will get stronger the closer you
get to the Wavecrasher. Press X on the ground, and you will pick it up.
One of the best weapons in the game, the Wavecrasher is very light and
moderately long. You can do a full stamina attack at about the same rate as
with your fists, which is really impressive. The Light and Wind damage is also
moderately high. The only drawback to this weapon is that it is two-handed, so
you won't be able to equip a shield. The lack of type B sword magic is also
a disappointment.

The Broken Katana turns into this weapon when it is repaired.
Not the most impressive weapon, but very effective against slash-weak enemies.
The low weight makes the stamina recovery period after an attack very short, so
you can get a lot of attacks in very quickly. The most disappointing things
about this weapon are the magic type (A), and the fact that it's two-handed.

Found in a chest in the Great Graveyard near the Widda Egg Field. From the Egg
Field entrance, go up the stairs on the left, enter the next room, and drop
down. Take a right up ahead at the gravestones, then take another right and
head up the stairs. Go right, then drop down. Open the Widda door on the left,
and enter. The chest is in the middle of the room, but be careful. When you
open it, arrow traps will appear around the room.
This bow takes Widda Arrows, which home in on enemies, but are also extremely
rare. There are only a few that you can find laying around. The rest have to be
crafted by the guy guarding the entrance to the Great Graveyard from the Widda
Eggfield. After giving him a Widda Egg, he will craft things for you. 1 Widda
Arrow will cost 1 Bone to make, so you'd better go skeleton hunting if you plan
on using the Widda's Bow.
On a side note, the drop rate for skeleton bones appears to be about 20%, so
in order to level this bow to 3 (480 arrows minimum required), you will have
to kill around 2500 skeletons. Good luck with that.
*Thanks to TheGADMan for enduring the grind to get me the stats for levels 2
and 3!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In this section I'll discuss the best weapons you can have at different times
in the game and explain why I think they are the best. I'll also be covering
what weapons are next to useless and why they suck so bad. This section
contains my personal opinions, and I invite you to challenge anything I say
here. If you think I'm wrong, let me know why. I may change my mind!
Remember that different enemies are weak to different attack attributes.
Sometimes the BEST weapon you have isn't the RIGHT weapon for the job. Use
your own judgement when deciding what weapon to take into battle.
----------------------------------------
5a. THE BEST WEAPONS (#BEST)
========================================
Beginning of the Game: Fists (Unarmed)
--------------------------------------
Bet you didn't expect that, huh? Your fists are surprisingly good in the
beginning if you take the time to level them up. The great thing about your
fists is that they don't weigh anything, so your stamina recovery is near
instantaneous. They also don't have a durability rating, so you don't have to
worry about them degrading, which is a serious concern with your other weapons
at this point.
All of the attack from your fists goes into the Hit attribute, so they won't
work against everything, but they're really effective against skeletons, and
fairly good against the pill-bug monsters. They become useless later on, but
it's worth mentioning that they are better than the first few weapons you find.
Don't bother using the 'sword' magic. Once you can actually afford to use it,
you've already got an armory's worth of weapons that are far better than your
puny fists.
After Unlocking the Palace Underground: Fiery Sword
---------------------------------------------------
For anything that can't easily be punched into submission, the Fiery Sword is a
solid choice. It's easy to miss, as it is located behind a secret door, but it
can be obtained as soon as the palace underground area is opened up. It is the
only elemental weapon you're going to get for a while, and its element (fire)
is effective against most enemies you will encounter early on. Its low hit,
however, will make it a poor choice against the many skeletons you will
encounter in the graveyard where it is located.
After the Holy Forest: Holycrest
--------------------------------
This is a solid weapon for the majority of the game. The area you get it in is
rife with the undead, giving you a chance to see just how effective it is
against them.
After the Refinery: Black Scar
------------------------------
For any enemies not resistant to fire, the Black Scar is a really solid choice
at this point in the game. It's not very useful in the refinery where you get
it, but it's quite good everywhere else. It also looks really cool. If you're
tired of the Holycrest, this is a more than adequate replacement (except
versus the undead).
Just Before The City, Floor 2: Crystaline Blade
-----------------------------------------------
This became my weapon of choice up until I received the Moonlight Sword. You
get it by tossing a fire spell at a big wall of ice containing a skeleton. At
level 3 its damage jumps substantially, outclassing most weapons. It also has
some wicked sword magic.
After the Ocean Palace: Wavecrasher
-----------------------------------
This sword is pretty awesome, especially if you don't plan on leveling up the
Crystaline Blade. I actually missed it on my first runthrough because it's so
hard to find. It has a fair amount of both Light and Water damage, as well as a
huge amount of Slash damage. The only downside is that it's a two-handed
weapon, meaning you won't get to equip a shield.
Late Game: Moonlight Sword
--------------------------
This should be obvious. The Moonlight Sword is hand's down the best sword in
the whole game. It's got the longest reach of all the one-handed weapons, has
an extremely quick stamina recovery period due to its light weight, and its
durability is incredible. Its ability to reflect light magic is just icing on
the cake. It's too bad it doesn't regenerate your mana like it does in the
other King's Field games. Oh well...
The Moonlight Sword lets you release the seals on Lord Myu's armor, which is
the best set in the game. The sword magic is also very cool.
5b. LEAST USEFUL WEAPONS (#LUWE)
========================================
Ancient Sword
-------------
This sword wouldn't be so bad if it didn't weigh so much. The stamina recovery
period is just unbearably long. The only reason to use it is to complete the
Ancient set, which includes the Ancient Shield, Ancient Helmet, Ancient Armor,
Ancient Gloves, and Ancient Greaves. Each individual item in the set is cursed,
but equipping every item in the set removes the curse effects. Once you get
Lord Myu's armor there's no reason to use the Ancient armor set anymore, and
thus no reason to use the Ancient Sword anymore. Even if the Ancient armor set
were the best in the game it wouldn't be worth equipping just because of how
bad the Ancient Sword is compared to other weapons you should already have,
like the Crystaline Blade, for example. Just stay away from the Ancient set. It
looks cool, but overall it's not very good.
Broken Katana
-------------
Hey, what do you expect from a broken sword? This thing is terrible, but you're
not actually SUPPOSED to use it as-is. Get it repaired and it becomes the
Windslayer, which is actually pretty decent (and cool looking). Not sure why
this blade gets 2 Hit damage at level 3 -- the Windslayer has 0 at all levels!
Crescent Ax
-----------
It's heavy. It's slow. It's not as good as other weapons you should have.
Enough said.
Queen's Staff
-------------
Don't get me wrong, the Queen's Staff is not a bad item; it's quite good if
you're trying to level your magic or want to recover some mana between fights.
It is, however, a terrible melee weapon. It has the lowest attack in the game
(except at level 2, Broken Katana has 2 less attack) and its durability goes
down by one point for every full stamina attack. It doesn't even have Type B
magic, which is a real disappointment. Don't use this weapon for physical
attacks... ever.
Wooden Club
-----------
I know this is the first weapon you come across, but there's no excuse for how
bad it is. Don't bother with it. Use your fists instead; they're better.
This section is dedicated to the NPCs who sell weapons in the game. As with the
weapon names, I list the name of each merchant in the NA version, followed by
the PAL name in parentheses.

This section is dedicated to the questions people send me, and, of course, my
answers to those questions. If you would like to contribute to this section,
send me an email and I'll get back to you on it. Be sure to include something
in the email subject like "King's Field FAQ" or I might ignore it. Please
restrict your questions to the subject of weapons or combat. This FAQ is not
about the story, the characters, the development team's family, or Santa Claus.
I will ignore any questions that are off topic.
Here are a few examples of questions I won't answer:
1) Where is X Item found?
- Try Seorin's Item Location FAQ.
2) How do I solve this puzzle? / How do I get through this area?
- Look up a walkthrough
----------------------------------------
Q: What is the best way to level your weapons?
A: I leveled all my weapons by repeatedly bashing the Fadin (fire-arrow-spewing
stone faces) in The Ancient City, Level 2 (West Gate). As long as you don't
kill the Master Fadin, the Fadin will spawn endlessly, so you can generally
stand in one spot and hit the attack button at regular intervals.
Q: Did you actually level all of these weapons legitimately?
A: Yes... Except the Widda's Bow. TheGADMan was kind enough to do that for me.
Q: How long did it take to level all of these weapons?
A: I lost track, but the total playtime on my game is roughly 83 hours, so I'd
say between 50 and 60 hours.
Q: How many Strength Ups did you get?
A: My highest Physical stat is sitting at 399, but I have my weapons leveled
over two separate save games. This is because I had the urge to level all of
my weapons 3 at some point before I decided to catalog the stats for each
one. So I had to make a second game to record stats for levels 1 and 2. I
then realized there were weapons I missed, so I grabbed them on my second
game and leveled them to 3 there. That includes most, if not all, of the
vendor-bought weapons. So neither save, individually, has every weapon to
level 3.

- Thanks to TheGADMan for suffering through the tedium of collecting bones to
level the Widda's Bow and record the stats for me. He also pointed out some
incorrect stats on other weapons and suggested I list the special effects of
weapons in the stat blocks, in addition to providing the PAL names.
