4/26/07 .35 on the Chain of Memories, almost done with the Sora half of
it.
4/30/07 1.0 on the Chain of Memories, not a long game so finished
quickly.
5/28/07 1.5 halfway complete on the second game.

II. How To Use
First of all, this guide is intended for the American or English
audience, I had my game imported from Japan, with the help of a 30
dollar value called Swap Magic; I am able to play this game on a normal
American ps2, on a normal American T.V. with normal American
appliances, the same works with U.K. It costs 30 dollars and will play
any import game. Go to www.modchipstore.com for more info, it works on
all kinds of Ps2's, for the thick original one you will need a rather
easy to use slide card, if you have a slim one, you will need to
install three pieces onto your flip lid. It comes with a DVD backup
boot disk needed for playing. It isn't that hard to understand how to
use this guide. Just look at the contents and scroll down to where you
want to go. If you are thinking it will be hard to find what you are
looking for, every place listed above will be very eye catchy, don't
worry it won't be that hard. If you notice something that I missed just
e-mail me and tell me. Here is another thing I just want to get clear.
I am only writing this because I am bored and writing seems to pass the
time. Many people think we are just fat 40 year olds living with our
parents. I am making it clear that I am 14 and I have a life. (I
despise fat 40-year olds that live with there parents.)

III. Chain of Memories Walkthrough
Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+ covers the 1.5 Kingdom Hearts game as well
as the full 2.0 game with extra levels and Boss Battles. These two
games have been wrapped up into one big sequel, the game is two discs
long, (two for every game...duh) the first one is card based. Even
though the card system may seem annoying, it is actually quite fun, no
matter how good your skill is, if you are patient and build up a strong
deck, you are sure to succeed. Since the first game is voiced in
Japanese, I will aware you of who is who and give names out right away.
Play the game, select new game, (O is the main button in the game
rather than X). Watch the intro music video and first scene
THE STORY SO FAR
A boy named Sora (Kingdom Hearts) is left off with his two partners
Donald Duck and Goofy after they finished there first adventure in
defeating the seeker of darkness Ansem. After a tiresome day of chasing
Pluto, who seems to have a message from the king in his mouth, the
three decide to call it a night. Sora is awakened in the night due to a
mysterious figure stalking them. The man doesn't seem to want to show
himself, finally Sora catches a glimpse of the man as he is speaking
only to see him show him a pathway. As he disappears into the night, he
awakens Donald and Goofy to follow him, as they follow the road, they
are lead to a mysterious castle. Without hesitation, Sora steps in the
castle. Once all three are inside, the mysterious cloaked man seals the
door behind him. I will tell you now, that his name is Marluxia.
Marluxia gives you a card imprinted off one of your memories, on the
card is a picture of Traverse Town. Marluxia disappears.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Floor 1
=-=-=-=-==-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
The controls are basic, press O to attack and X to jump. O is the main
button rather than X. Press Square to dodge roll. If you want to save,
enter the save circle and hit triangle. In this game, there are
commands called reaction commands brought upon during battle to enhance
your moves. Go up to the big golden double doors. A card screen will
come up asking you which card to choose. Press on the only one you
have.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Traverse Town
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
This level is basically your tutorial level. Marluxia will be awaiting
your arrival, he will test your strength. Across the memory illusion,
you can find Heartless. Hit one to initiate a battle, you will fight
many at once. You will start out with a deck of cards, hit O to attack.
Marluxia will explain this to you, even if you are completely American
like me and you have no idea what he is saying, it will be easy to
follow. Hit select to equip your special deck where you will receive
special cards after defeating certain battles. Get the idea? And by the
way, don't get the wrong idea about Marluxia, even though it seems he
is doing no harm, he is truly evil, along with his other 12 companions
(Will be explained later). This is the part that I got really annoyed,
you haven't even seen his face yet, but you look forward to seeing that
a lot later. Press R2 to lock on to enemies. R1 and L1 shuffle through
the deck. The cards range from zero to nine. Nine is the most powerful.
After Marluxia disappears, you will receive a map card known as the key
to beginnings (has a picture of a key on it). Throughout the memory you
will need to kill Heartless to get world cards to progress through door
to door. Press select to bring up a map showing you your designated
area. There is a card reference in the Extra section. Other than attack
cards, you have magic cards, summon cards, and item cards. Now is the
time to take a quick look at the card reference before starting once
more. Head through the key to beginnings door.
In here you meet good old Leon from the first game and Final Fantasy
VIII. Yes he is still under the alias Leon rather than his true name
(Squall Leonhart). You also see Yuffie (FFVII). Now Leon will train you
with the cards. Press triangle over the card to stock it, you can stock
three cards then play them performing combos and sleights. Every time
you level up you can pick from three of the following, HP, CP, and
sleights. HP makes your health longer and defense stronger, CP makes
you able to equip more and powerful cards and sleights gives you the
ability to perform powerful moves using three stocked cards. Once
you're done with Leon you will be given another map card. (Picture of a
Heart)
Continue through the memory hitting anything along the way. (Hint: Red
orbs are Moogle points, find as many as possible. Look at your map for
information on where to go. Once at your next destination, you will see
a scene involving Leon, Yuffie and Aerith. Somewhere along all this you
receive the Simba summon Card. You will be given another Map Card.
(picture of Heartless symbol). Look at your map and go to the
designated area, remember to keep defeating Heartless, as they give you
map cards.
Through this last portion of memory, you will find Cid (FFVII), the
bell on top of the Gizmo shop will ring. Cid will leave and you will be
pitted against a giant Heartless. It is time to see if your training
has paid off.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Guard Armor
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Guard Armor is all over easy. Just like the first one, attack his arms
first, then his feet. His Arms have tiny health bars, for his feet,
maybe double that. His torso has a full one bar of health. Stay clear
of his spinning arms attack. Don't keep too much of a distance, this
will cause him to do a devastating jump attack. If you see a green
Mickey shaped card, play it to cause him to fall apart temporarily, use
this time to your advantage, when he is defeated you will get the Guard
Armor card.
Congrats on beating your first boss of the game, you will be left in a
room with a blue arrow marking the exit on the mini map on the top
right hand corner. There is always a saving spot near the exit, now is
a good time to save, for another battle awaits.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Floor 1 (continued)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Once you exit the memory and end up on the other side of the first
floor in the Castle Oblivion, Marluxia will be waiting for you. Another
guy cloaked in black appears behind him. You get to see this guy's face
fortunately. His name is Axel, his bright red long spiky hair and
tattoos under his eye are his facial characteristics. Marluxia gives
Axel another set of World Cards. Marluxia leaves and Axel summons two
fire spiked wheel weapons into his hands. He can control and manipulate
fire.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Axel
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Axel is harder than Guard Armor and he puts up a good fight, but over
all, he is easy. Since he duel wields weapons, he is a tough fighter up
close. He can also throw them at you if you get to far way. An
effective move against him is to stock a Goofy card followed by two
attack cards. This will cause Goofy to knock him in the air, and then
you press triangle to hit him even higher, and Goofy blasts him back to
the ground. BEWARE! Do not use Donald! You give the risk of him using
Fire on Axel, which only cures him since he is fire! Keep up the good
fighting and you will have him owned.
Most likely you will level up. Once you beat him, he gives you the set
of World Cards that Marluxia gave him. The he disappears. Climb the
staircase to reach the second floor.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Floor 2
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Nothing interesting happens on this floor, just a bunch of Japanese
conversing between Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Jiminy Cricket. (A Japanese
speaking cricket, which is something I never thought I would see) Once
your done laughing at how ridiculous Goofy sounds, step up to the
golden doors and you will have five options of memories to choose from.
You can go in any order you want, but I am starting with Neverland.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Wonderland
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
This memory is full of annoying tricks and puzzles, first of all, some
doors are blocked by thorns, you have to find a giant thorny purple
flower and beat it to death to rid the thorns. Use your map to locate
the first location. Then the second, then the third. All the scenes
basically show how Alice is going to be killed. Once you arrive in the
final room, a familiar boss will challenge you.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Trick Master
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Trick Master made his appearance in the first game, now that the stupid
queen has remembered him, he has been resurrected. You will need to
jump up to reach his weak spot, after a good few hits, you should stun
him, and he will deploy a few HP orbs when this happens. Use the Mickey
card to create a table to get to an easier attack point. This boss
isn't really hard at all.
Defeating him will award you the Trick Master Card. Save, and then exit.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Floor 2 (continued)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
As you probably have found out by now, this game is rather quick, if
you have the right amount of map cards. Kill Heartless regularly to
keep a good balance of cards close to hand. Go to the third floor,
during this time you will see a scene in Which Axel is conversing with
another black cloaked being. This one is a blonde girl, her name is
Larxene, and she tends to be the cruelest, despite her hotness.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Floor 3
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
More conversing blah blah blah. There conversations drag on forever.
Step up to the golden double doors and pick another world.
==-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Halloween Town
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Once in Halloween Town, you will be greeted by Jack Skellington. You
will also find yourself a vampire as you did in the first game. Now is
about the time where you will find Moogle Cards. See the card reference
for information on the Moogle Cards. As usual you will start with the
Key to beginnings. Hit your three destinations and you will have to
fight a strategic boss fight.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Oogie Boogie
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Oogie Boogies is a super easy boss, he plays mostly sevens, counter
them with higher cards or Zero's. Once the bars are low enough, you can
start to hack away at him. Fail to stop his level seven card dice and
you will be put through a harmful obstacle. Winning this will award you
the Oogie Boogie card.
Save if you want, and head out onto the other side of the floor.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Floor 3 (continued)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Watch the scenes if you wish, head up onto the 4th floor and enter your next
world.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Olympus Coliseum
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
You will see a rather long intro for this memory. After you see Cloud (FFVII),
continue through. Follow the normal directions, however when you get to the
middle scene, you will have to fight Cloud.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Cloud
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Cloud is easy like the previous bosses. He is cheap with his sonic blade, but
card breaking his attacks, the battle is over all easy.
Continue and when you reach the third destination, you will be pitted against
the Dark Lord of the Underworld.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Hades
=-=-==-=-=-=-=-=-=
Hades can be rather difficult the way you take him on, be sure to run around
him in circles to dodge his fire spinning attack thing. Blizzard is very
effective on this guy, keep it coming to defeat him, and you will be awarded
the Hades Card.
Once the battle is completed, you will be free to leave, before you do, Cloud
gives you his summon Card.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Floor 5
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
More cutscenes involving Axel, Larxene, and the young girl Namine', now would
be a good time to explain who these people are. There are a total of 13 of
these cloaked bad guys, the leader assigned Marluxia to be lord of Castle
Oblivion, Marluxia also has decided to over throw the ruler, he has Axel and
Larxene on his side. But a spy from the other 10 is too come and wrap around
the plot. If you don't understand, just keep going. Go up to the big double
doors and pick a new memory.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Monstro
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Monstro is a pretty annoying level, just get past the acid baths and internal
small organs and you will do fine. Once again, when you reach your second
destination you will be put in a boss fight.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Parasite Cage
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
The parasite cage holds Pinocchio within him. You will be on four rotating
platforms. Try not to step in the acid. Attack the parasite cage and use Mickey
cards whenever possible. There is really no strategy to this, just make it a
quick battle.
You will receive the Parasite Cage Card. Continue to your third destination,
Here you won't find a boss battle, you need to keep up moving and filling the
gauge to make Monstro sneeze you out of the memory (yeah, I know real corny).
Use Sonic if you have learned the sleight.
So much for that, exit Monstro and make your way to the sixth floor.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Floor 6
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
As usual, enter your last memory card you have.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Agrabah
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Here you will have Aladdin as a friend card, which is kinda helpful. Make your
way through the three destinations and you will meet Genie Jafar.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Genie Jafar
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Genie Jafar is easy, just attack Iago, it is almost exactly like the first
game. Use the Mickey Card to rise all platforms to an even level. Jafar will
hardly hit you, he either swat or pounds the ground. Occasionally he will use a
laser or meteor thing. Attack the lamp enough to make Iago fall. You will be
awarded the Genie Jafar card.
Exit Agrabah and make your way towards the seventh floor. Unfortunately there
is a road block.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Floor 6 (continued)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
As you are in the continued area of the sixth floor, Larxene will greet you
just as Axel did. Except now, she can control and manipulate electricity, so be
sure not to use thunder on her.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Larxene
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
This is where the game can get tough. Larxene can control and manipulate
lightning. This is the first time I died. Larxene is fast moving and her
weapons are large yellow electricity conducting knives that fit between her
fingers. She has 8 total, just think as her as a female Wolverine with two
extra knives. Her fighting style is up close and personal, she is almost never
out of your face. Be sure to have a good range of Zeros scattered throughout
your deck, an Elixir would work too. Stay constantly moving to avoid her
lightning showers. Defeating her will reward you your survival I guess.
Once she is backed off, she will give you four more world cards.
Make your way up to the seventh floor.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Floor 7
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
You will be forced to stop, as for your good friend Riku has made an
appearance, and all he remembers is how you locked him up.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Riku
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Riku is where the bosses get hard. He will be in his dark form for the whole
battle. Try to play a zero whenever he tries to perform a sleight, as for these
can kill you quickly. He is quick moving and runs faster than you. His Soul
Eater is a powerful weapon so I suggest dodge rolling a lot. Overall you should
succeed.
Go up to the Golden double doors, as usual pick one of the four remaining
memories. I suggest the 100 Acre Wood, just so it is out of the way.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
100 Acre Wood
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
You will have to face several annoying mini games here, so let's get started.
The first one will consist of separating Rabbit's cabbage from pumpkins. Hit R1
to hit the vegetable to the right and L1 to hit them to the left, there will be
a time where you have to use a reaction command strike on stuff to prevent
injury to Pooh. Dodge the rolling carrots and finish off the huge Pumpkin.
Continue forward to do the other game.
Hit X to levitate in the air, ignore the bees, if they pop all your balloons,
you're dead. Get to the top to find Owl. Continue forward.
The next one will require exact memory, complete Tigger's memory jumping game
and get 25 points or higher to win. Continue forward.
The next one will blast you in the sky, fall down without dieing or losing Pooh
to complete this.
The last one will require you to attack Bees until you find Eeyore's tail, yeah
I know, pretty stupid.
Doing all this will complete the 100 Acre Wood. Exit to the 8th floor only to
experience Riku's wrath once more.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle:: Riku
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Riku isn't much harder than before, his deck is different though. Try to play a
zero whenever he tries to perform a sleight, as for these can kill you quickly.
He is quick moving and runs faster than you. His Soul Eater is a powerful
weapon so I suggest dodge rolling a lot. Overall you should succeed.
After he is defeated, head to your new memory.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Atlantica
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Atlantica is one of the more annoying levels as well. Not hard, just annoying,
you get Ariel as a fighting partner too. Complete all three destinations and
you start the boss fight.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Ursula
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Ursula is super ugly to look at, destroy all the tentacles in the way then
attack her fat head, use a Mickey Card on her whenever necessary (which is
whenever you get one). You will own her in no time. You will be awarded an
Ursula Card.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Floor 9
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Expected Riku right? Wrong. He has left for now, but don't worry, he will be
back. Head up to the 9th floor and enter the next memory.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Neverland
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Neverland should be a breeze through, no tricky doors or anything. Make your
way through the three doors and you will meet Captain Hook.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Captain Hook
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Captain Hook likes to hide a lot, the stupid coward. When he actually does
get close to you he can unleash a devastating combo. When he is hiding, he
tends to launch explosives at you. This battle is mostly quick with a
medium-hard level of challenge. Defeating him will award you the Captain
Hook Card.
Exit the world and enter the last memory you have.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Hollow Bastion
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=
It's good old Hollow Bastion, previously known as Ansem's lair and where his
allied evil witch Maleficent resides. The Heartless here are big and bulky,
if you can recall back to the defenders in the first game, you will know
what I mean. Make your way through all three rooms, then you will take part
in a difficult boss fight.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Dragon
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Maleficent's Dragon form is a brutal tough form. Use the Mickey card
whenever possible, as this will make a floating platform arise so you can
get attacks on Maleficent while hovering over her lake of fire that
constantly spews out her mouth. The circular battle room will be almost
constantly 1/3 filled with fire. Ice and Lightning magic do well on her,
refrain from using Fire tough. Defeating her will award you the Maleficent
Dragon card.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Twilight Town
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
This is the town in which Vexen remembers, it is the home to one of all the
blacked cloaked organization's most feared enemy. There is only one destination
marked on your map, arrive it to find yourself in front of a huge mansion. All
though Sora knows for a fact that he has never been there, it is familiar to
him. Vexen appears again with one last attempt to kill you, for his own good,
not Marluxia's
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Vexen
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Vexen is not harder at all then before. Be sure to have many zeros in your
playing cards. Whenever he does a sleight, immediately cancel it out with a
zero. He can freeze you then whack you with his huge weapon. Keep a good move
on him. Sonic Blade can be truly effective on him. Winning will award you the
Vexen Card.
Vexen pleads for his life and offers to tell Sora something important about him
and one of the other members, Axel arrives on the scene and kills Vexen before
he can tell Sora, Axel gives you your last memory card, this one is of Destiny
Islands. Now that Vexen is dead, think of it as 1 down, 12 more to go. Leave
the world and head to the 12th floor, now enter the last memory for good.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Destiny Islands
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Unlike before, this has three destinations; you also get to see Tidus (FFX)
Wakka (FFX) and Selphie (FFVIII). Make your way through the three destinations
to see a familiar foe.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Darkside
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Just think of it as sort of a rematch between you and Ansem in his Darkside
form. Darkside seems to have gotten a speed upgrade as well for all his attacks
are quick. This battle is very easy. His attacks are weak and barely do any
damage so you should basically own him. You will be awarded the Darkside Card.
Exit Destiny Islands, but be sure to save.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Floor 12
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Riku
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Riku is back, this time with a powerful deck and a deadly glowing arm (I didn't
understand either). He is very hard this time around. He does a devastating
Dark Aura attack which basically kills you right there. . Try to play a zero
whenever he tries to perform a sleight, as for these can kill you quickly. He
is quick moving and runs faster than you. His Soul Eater is a powerful weapon
so I suggest dodge rolling a lot.
Don't get to excited yet, another harder boss is up next, after you
realize Riku was only a replica created by Vexen, Namine' shows up to stop
him, almost killing him. Larxene comes in and threatens Namine' for
disobeying them. Sora steps in heroically and is pitted against the
electrifying Larxene once more.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Larxene
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Larxene is harder than Riku this time and no longer cares for sticking to
Marluxia's plan. She tries to kill you by any means necessary. Keep a deck
with a good range of 7-9 cards, at least 2 heal cards, and a good range of
0 cards. If you perform Sonic Blade constantly and use a potion, perform
the series of Sonics again, then use the elixir which restores everything,
you could have the battle set.
Defeating Larxene will result in her death. Hahahaha, stupid blonde.
Namine' stays with the Riku Replica and urges you to go on, to the final
13th floor. Do as she says.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
=-=-=
Floor 13 (Castle Oblivion)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
=-=-=
Welcome to the top floor, no memories, just a normal Castle Oblivion
floor. You will have one destination on the far other side of the
floor. The closer you get, the more you see the tension between
Marluxia and Axel build up. Once you get there you would have seen
an intense battle between the two of them. When you get past the
final door which is super hard to get past, Marluxia leaves with
Namine', and Axel is tricked into fighting you.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Axel
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Axel is very hard indeed, he has impossible to dodge fire moves and
fatal sleights. Keep the Vexen deck and use it to defeat him. Sonic
Blade works very well against him as well. Once you defeat them, he
will finally cool down and he acts as if he is on your side, then he
leaves the castle.
Continue to the opposing side of this corridor, once you arrive at
your unlocked destination, the final battle is on.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Castle Oblivion / Final Battle
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Once here, you see Marluxia with Namine'. Angered by his failure of
attaining the Keyblade, he decides one final attempt.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Final Boss: Marluxia
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Marluxia can control and manipulate nature, and by that I mean like
poison, flowers, thorns, plant like stuff. He wields a huge scythe
so it is best to avoid that; a few direct hits could kill you.
Marluxia has a weak defense at first so this can be easy to deplete
half of his health. Once 3 bars remain he will start to do a frenzy
of powerful hard to beat sleights. He can make blossom pedal
tornadoes and deadly Death Scythe attacks. Once he is defeated, you
will be awarded the Marluxia card.
Think it's over, well if you are a Kingdom Hearts fan you know it isn't, save
if you wish, and then enter the white double doors.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Final Boss: Marluxia
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Once on the 13th floor arena, Marluxia will disappear into a wave of pedals,
when he comes out you will see he transformed into a giant monster. While his
top half remains the same, his bottom half has a huge body with Scythe legs and
a demonic white face behind the Scythe legs' arcs. Start the battle by
attacking either one of the two scythe legs, each have about a bar and a half
of health. Hit zero whenever he tries to do a move, any move is worth stopping.
Once both Scythe legs are destroyed, move onto the face that was being guarded
by them, Marluxia may fly off the arena break his card attacks to prevent him
to fly over you. Once he is back in, start to attack him again. He will be
annoying and fly away from you after a few hits and will start growing a dark
power orb to launch at you. Break this attack with a card. Keep going and
Marluxia will convert to his pound the ground attack. Break everyone of the
cards that he plays while he is hovering high in the air. He will alternate
between these two moves until you defeat him.
Once he is defeated, his mutant body takes its own form and he gets his body
back. You will be put into your last fight with him.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Final Boss: Marluxia
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
The arena is completely blown up and obliterated due to his next
transformation, he has been permanently bonded to the ground, a huge white
demon will be coming from his back and it will be wielding his Scythe. Marluxia
can't move, so this will be a pretty unique battle. The Demon will give
Marluxia's cards, Marluxia can do several damaging attacks, and he can knock
out all your cards in your hand, so you will have to run around to get them
all. He can duel with you; hit points will be put upon your head. You must beat
Marluxia's deck completely to rid them. They will be reducing pretty fast, once
they hit 0 you're dead, so no pressure right. This hit point attack can be a
sudden death so keep your self occupied on defeating Marluxia as quickly as
possible, this is his hardest form yet. Once he is defeated, he will finally
die.
Enjoy the ending scene in which Sora agrees to lose all his memories of Castle
Oblivion so he can gain his old ones back. The decoding process will take a
time up to a year of sleeping in this little pod thing, same as Donald and
Goofy. But what is the rest of the Organization going too think, you have
killed three of there members, not to mention Riku's story which happens before
Sora even comes to the castle, You will have to play the Reverse Rebirth to get
the full story of Chain of Memories.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
===============================================================================
Reverse Rebirth / Riku's story
===============================================================================
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Congratulating on beating the true first half of the game, watch the credits,
and when you are brought to the beginning screen, you are offered to play as
Riku so you can find out what happened before Sora entered Castle Oblivion.
Note: Riku's half is easier, since it was supposed to happen first.
THE STORY SO FAR
After being sealed in Kingdom Hearts with King Mickey, Riku seems to awaken
safely, unknowingly how he got into the mysterious castle; he has reason to
believe the King is here also. It seems to Riku he is safe now, but he can't he
help to think he is in the wrong hands. Riku gets one card based off of his own
memory. Go up to the golden double doors and use the Hollow Bastion memory
card.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Hollow Bastion (Reverse Rebirth)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Riku's card system is a lot different then Sora's. You don't have to reload
your cards. Just hit the blank card spot and you automatically get all your
cards back. When Riku levels up you will have 3 things to level up in, HP, AP
and DP. HP levels up health and defense, AP levels up how strong your attacks
are, and DP levels up dark power. Hit a Heartless on the screen to initiate a
battle. Riku has a better dodge roll then Sora by the way. Like Sora, Riku has
3 destinations, but only for this memory. Hit the three destinations, on the
third he will finally be able to fight the person who deceived him into
becoming Ansem's puppet. Riku always has a fixed deck so there is no worry in
Moogles and stuff like that.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Dragon
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Maleficent is much easier for Riku then it was with Sora. You will have no
friends to help you however for this fight. Dodge the fire spewed on the floor
and basically own her. Once she is dead you will be rewarded the Maleficent
Card.
Exit the layer to meet Mickey; however it seems he is only half himself. He is
partly faded. Continue to meet Ansem, the very person who controlled Riku in
the first game. Even though Ansem died, Riku's memory has made him alive in a
mental sort of way. Don't worry though, this illusion of Ansem can never try to
take over the worlds as he did before.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Ansem
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Ansem will have his huge Guardian Heartless eroding from his back. Attack
Ansem, even though you won't be doing any damage, go through a whole deck or
two, card breaking all his cards. Finally you will get instructions to use the
reaction command to your advantage. If he plays an 8, shuffle through your deck
until you find an 8, just match your card with his. When this happens, you will
see a reaction command come up. Press triangle to start the duel. You must beat
all of Ansem's cards in a limited amount of time. Quickly pound on the O button
to beat them all. Successfully destroying his deck will grant you an extreme
attack which Riku does automatically. This will end the fight.
Ansem will give you some of Sora's memories. Then he gives you the dark power.
Dark power is brought upon when dark power gauge to 30 when in battle. This
causes Riku to enter his Dark mode allowing three limits, see the extras
section for more details. Now you will see a scene in which two new cloaked
member's converse. The emo one with the blue hair goes by Zexion, and the big
bulky silent one goes by Lexaeus. They are aware that Marluxia, Larxene, and
Axel are trying to overthrow there leader. So Zexion (whose ability is to
scheme, create illusions, and use physic powers) teams up with Lexaeus to find
a way to stop Marluxia, by this time Sora is in the castle. They bring over
Vexen and assign him to make a Riku replica. So Vexen takes on his duty to face
the real Riku and gather the data from him so he can make the replica. Enter
the double doors and select one of Sora's memories.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Traverse Town (Reverse Rebirth)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Now the rest of the game will be a real breeze through. You only have to go to
one designated area. Head off to the section to face Guard Armor. You now are
able to pick up Mickey teammate cards.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Guard Armor
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Guard Armor is all over easy. Just like the first one, attack his arms first,
then his feet. His Arms have tiny health bars, for his feet, maybe double that.
His torso has a full one bar of health. Stay clear of his spinning arms attack.
Don't keep too much of a distance, this will cause him to do a devastating jump
attack. If you see a green Mickey shaped card, play it to cause him to fall
apart temporarily, use this time to your advantage.
Exit the memory and enter a new one.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Agrabah (Reverse Rebirth)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Find your designated location and arrive there to face off with Jafar.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Genie Jafar
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Genie Jafar is easy, just attack Iago, it is almost exactly like the first
game. Use the Mickey Card to rise all platforms to an even level. Jafar will
hardly hit you, he either swat or pounds the ground. Occasionally he will use a
laser or meteor thing. Attack the lamp enough to make Iago fall. You will be
awarded the Genie Jafar card.
Exit the memory and make your way to the hallway where you meet Vexen.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Fight: Vexen
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
I guess you could call this Vexen's first battle. He won't be hard against
Riku, especially since you can go into Dark Mode. Whenever he does a sleight,
immediately cancel it out with a zero. He can freeze you then whack you with
his huge weapon. Keep a good move on him.
Vexen will have all his data needed for creating the replica, he will set off
to create it. Enter a new memory.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Monstro (Reverse Rebirth)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Once in Monstro, kill any obstacles in your way and enter your 1 area.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Parasite Cage
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
The parasite cage holds Pinocchio within him. You will be on four rotating
platforms. Try not to step in the acid. Attack the parasite cage and use Mickey
cards whenever possible. There is really no strategy to this, just make it a
quick battle.
When you finish, exit the memory and enter a new one.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Neverland (reverse Rebirth)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Once in Neverland, reach your destination to fight Captain Hook.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Fight: Captain Hook
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Captain Hook likes to hide a lot, the stupid coward. When he actually does get
close to you he can unleash a devastating combo. When he is hiding, he tends to
launch explosives at you. This battle is mostly quick with a medium-hard level
of challenge. Defeating him will award you the Captain Hook Card.
Leave the memory, now Vexen's creation has been born, you now fight off against
your replica.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Riku Replica
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
This is the same Riku that you fight as Sora. He can be pretty hard due to the
fact that it is your clone. Just keep up with good combos, he has one thing you
don't, Mickey playing cards. Use Mickey to heal you. Once he is beat, he will
run off.
The Riku Replica reports back to Zexion, Lexaeus, and Vexen. Ansem makes his
appearance and he gives you more of Sora's memories. Enter a new memory.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Atlantica (Reverse Rebirth)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
I suggest Atlantica, since I hate it. Enter into the boss battle against
Ursula.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Ursula
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Ursula is super ugly to look at, destroy all the tentacles in the way then
attack her fat head, use a Mickey Card on her whenever necessary (which is
whenever you get one). You will own her in no time. You will be awarded an
Ursula Card.
Exit the memory and enter a new one.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Olympus Coliseum (Reverse Rebirth)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Once here, enter the 1 destination to fight Hades.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Hades
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Hades can be rather difficult the way you take him on, be sure to run around
him in circles to dodge his fire spinning attack thing. Keep it coming to
defeat him, you will be awarded the Hades Card.
Exit the memory and enter a new one.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Wonderland (Reverse Rebirth)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
You will have to destroy the purple flowers to rid the doors of the thorns.
Enter your designated area.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Trick Master
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
You will need to jump up to reach his weak spot, after a good few hits, you
should stun him, and he will deploy a few HP orbs when this happens. Use the
Mickey card to create a table to get to an easier attack point. This boss isn't
really hard at all.
Exit the memory and enter the last one you have.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Halloween Town (Reverse Rebirth)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Halloween Town isn't hard, just run through and enter your destination.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Oogie Boogie
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Oogie Boogies is a super easy boss, he plays mostly sevens, counter them with
higher cards or Zero's. Once the bars are low enough, you can start to hack
away at him. Fail to stop his level seven card dice and you will be put through
a harmful obstacle. Winning this will award you the Oogie Boogie card.
Exit the memory, fed up with your success, Lexaeus arrives to kill you since
there is no further use for Riku's presence, he states that he will never
loose. He holds a giant axe like tomahawk.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Lexaeus
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Lexaeus can control and manipulate large rocks and pieces of Earth. He is very
large and muscular. He throws his axe at you and slashes it whenever you're
near. He can also smash his weapon on the ground which causes large very huge
rocks to fly out of the ground. He can throw these at you and punch them on
you. You will have to card break these attacks. He has a good amount of health
but his defense against Dark Power is sad. Three Dark Auras, can kill him, it
is ashamed if you don't win this battle. Beating him rewards you the Lexaeus
card.
Once he is defeated, he will die. You sort of threw his words back in is face.
Zexion appears and tells Riku that the lord of Castle Oblivion has been
silenced. Proud to announce the conspiracy has ended, he is also finding Sora
growing as a nuisance, he knows Axel will tell nothing to the leader about what
has happened, so Zexion thinks of himself as the leaders only hope to know the
truth. First Zexion decides to finish off Riku, since Zexion isn't much of a
fighter he decides to use his scheming powers to end Riku. He gives Riku a
Destiny Islands card.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Destiny Islands (Reverse Rebirth)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Enter the only destination you have to meet up with Zexion. Zexion tricks Riku
into thinking that Darkside is Riku. With his strong Psychic powers, Riku
begins to believe this. Zexion takes the illusion as Darkside.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Darkside
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Darkside isn't hard at all. Darkside seems to have gotten a speed upgrade as
well for all his attacks are quick. This battle is very easy. His attacks are
weak and barely do any damage so you should basically own him. You will be
awarded the Darkside Card.
Now it is time to finish off Zexion. Go talk to Sora, only to find out it is
Zexion in disguise.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Zexion
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Zexion can manipulate and control illusions and the minds of people. He creates
illusions to clone himself, he will first take many of your cards for himself,
and he then clones himself. Beware his book of schemes, it cause you to loose
your cards, so you will have to attack them to get them back. Zexion's battle
can become annoying to his card draining schemes. After a certain amount of
cards have been sucked up by his mini books, 3 clones will use the attack cards
for there advantage, they will wield the Soul Eater and slash at Riku. The real
Zexion likes to practically drain the health from you by clutching you tight in
his grip. Defeating him will ward you to almost completing Chain of Memories.
Exit the memory to see Ansem, Ansem gives Riku Sora's newest memory of Twilight
Town. Enter it.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Twilight Town (Reverse Rebirth)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
You meet a strange man whose face is draped in a red cloth, keep note of this
man for further reference. Enter your only designated area to meet up with the
Riku replica once more.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Riku Replica
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Now it is time to kill off Vexen's creation. The Riku replica can be very
challenging, just keep doing sleights in your Dark Mode. Break his cards when
necessary. Not much more than that.
Once he is defeated, head to one of the two exits to see a scene with Namine'
and the pod that holds Sora. Now you have to go all the way back to the other
exit. Once you exit, enter the last level.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Castle Oblivion (Reverse Rebirth)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Castle Oblivion's last basement isn't big at all. Get past the three rooms into
the final room to encounter Ansem.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Final Boss (RR): Ansem
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
This battle is over Riku's mentality, whoever wins controls Riku. Ansem like to
break a lot of sleights, so be sure to use Dark Aura to break one of his
sleights first. Over all this is a pretty fast battle, either you lose or win.
You can easily dodge roll to escape his dodging attack. Unlike most other
battles, it is a good idea to keep your distance from him. Winning will grant
you complete success in Chain of Memories.
Congratulations, you have beaten the first half of Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+
5 of the members have died, 8 remain alive, including Axel. Axel is the only
one who survived the Castle Oblivion massacre (along with the good guys of
course).

IV. Kingdom Hearts II Walkthrough
This game is basically the original Kingdom Hearts II all over again with new
levels and new bosses. The previous 5 organization members that died will be
brought back for quick optional rematches, this time they are very hard.
Kingdom Hearts II has the classic fighting style, no cards involved, along with
HP and MP. Your partners are with you at all times, unless they leave you for
some reason. The X button is jump and the O button is attack.
THE STORY SO FAR
Sora, Donald, and Goofy, followed a black stranger into a castle known as
Castle Oblivion. After surviving the plot and killing the leader Marluxia, Sora
started to learn about a secret organization of 13 evil black draped members,
though 5 members died at the castle, Sora is much hated by the remaining 8
members. Unfortunately Marluxia used his hostage Namine' to scramble Sora's
memories resulting in a complete loss of his backgrounds. Once Marluxia is dead
and Namine' is freed, she agrees to restore his memories. The process takes
over a year and the side affect is Sora loosing all knowledge of Castle
Oblivion and Organization XIII. The 13th member decides to quit, he realizes he
has somehow a part of Sora. Now unaware of his past, he hangs out with three of
his friends in Twilight Town. So now off you go to play as Roxas, one of the
former evil members that resemble the antagonists of Kingdom Hearts II.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Twilight Town Day 1
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Watch the opening cutscene which recaps Sora's crucial perilous moments of his
past journey(s). They add a little bit of some Chain of Memories recap as well.
Then you see two of the black draped members on a dark beach. You then see a
series of clips involving Sora and it turns out your character was dreaming up
all these events. Roxas awakes and is ready for another day in his home town.
X= jump and O= attack. You are witnessing your last final days of summer break.
Your friends, Hayner, Pence, and Olette are also grieving over there last days.
But something is up, there seems to be a town thief. This thief isn't a normal
one either, not only can he steal the object, but also the word. Hayner
suspects it is your rival group. Once you arrive in the street market, walk
forward towards the guys. You will need to walk from shop to shop asking the
owners about the thief. Hit triangle to talk to people. One owner will ask you
to find their cat. Target the cat with R1, he is on the canopy shelter thing.
This will lead you into your rival group.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Duel: Seifer
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Seifer challenges Roxas to a duel, three weapons known as struggle weapons
appear in front of you. Pick the thin narrow one for attack strength, the star
shaped one for magic power, and the blunt one for defense. Start attacking
Seifer, he won't attack much but when he does watch out.
Once Seifer is down, Pence decides to take a picture of your victory. Once the
film is developing, a white nimble creature steals the camera and photo, follow
the thief. He will lead you in a forest, keep an eye on him eventually you will
catch up to him. When you arrive in front of the mansion as seen in Chain of
memories, the white creature sees your face, the screen darkens and it says,
"We have come for you my Liege". The thief prepares itself for battle.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Mini Fight: Dusk
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
The creature you see before you is known as a Dusk, these creatures all work
under the organization. At first you won't do any damage to him with the
struggle weapon. Keep hitting and performing triangle on him to confuse him.
After a while the Keyblade will warp into your hands, now you can bash this
guy. After three complete combos he will die.
The pictures are yours, you recover them all and bring them back to your
friends, and somehow the pictures are all of you.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Twilight Town Day 2
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Roxas dreams about Sora again, and then wakes up. This time your friends decide
to go to the beach. Head outside, before you do you have to save. Once outside,
you will have to pick a job to do to raise money.
Mail Delivery: While on a skateboard, you must deliver five letters as quickly
as possible.
Cargo Climb: With the struggle weapon, you must push a crate up a hill into a
garage. Sometimes it will pop into the air, hit it to send it flying.
Grandstander: All you do here is put on a street performance, keep the ball in
the air for as long as possible.
Poster Duty: You must post 20 posters as quickly as possible.
Bumble Buster: You must kill bees as quickly as possible.
Junk Sweep: You must destroy garbage with as few hits as possible.
Whatever the money amount you make, which doesn't matter, it is enough. Head up
onto the station plaza. Olette gives the money to you, and then a guy comes up
dressed like an organization member and takes it. The other guys apparently
don't see it.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Twilight Town Day 3
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Head onto the Station Plaza to initiate a cutscene, Roxas is chased by
the many white creatures into the sandlot. Start to whack at the
Dusks, only to become mentally sucked into your own awakening.
Once inside the Station of Serenity, you will be standing on a giant
Sora stain glass. Three weapons rise on pedestals. The sword, gives
you strength, the shield gives you defense, and the wand gives you
magic power. Once you pick your weapon it disappears and the Keyblade
warps into your hand. The Dusks step onto the stain glass. Fight them
all, be sure to keep using the reaction command to confuse them. When
they are dead, a treasure chest will appear use triangle to open it.
Go through the door to get to the Station of Calling. Climb the many
Sora stain glasses killing all Dusks along the way. Open the chest to
get a potion. Once at the next door, enter it to face off with a giant
white creature.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Twilight Thorn
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
The Twilight Thorn weak spot (his face) is high above your reach.
So no use doing anything now, just let him cast his spell on you.
You will be trapped in the air do his magic. Now watch closely, he
readies a giant punch, then the reaction command symbol comes up.
Push triangle and Roxas will quickly strike the Twilight Thorn in
the head. Angrily he grabs Roxas and throws him in the air. Press
triangle to strike him once more, this will send him off the edge
of the stain glass, wait a few seconds and the stain glass will tip
over, you will fall off and will be falling right into the Twilight
Thorne's deadly magic. Press triangle when the symbol comes up to
throw the Keyblade into the mass of energy causing it to blow up.
You the Twilight Thorn and the Keyblade will fall back onto the
stain glass. Start striking the Twilight Thorn's head. He will then
try to smack you jump over his long arm. When you see little bursts
of energy coming from his head, press triangle to climb up them to
get some good ariel hits on his head. He will also, mount his head
on the ground and summon other white creatures known as Creepers to
attack you. Press triangle, to dash through the energy and hit his
head, press triangle again to keep dashing around and around to
avoid the energy blasts. He will also over in the air and does
this, you will need to jump up to hit him or climb up the energy
blasts. He usually does the whole reaction command part again, so
be ready. It is a rather long battle, but it is fun.
You reappear in the sandlot. Hayner sees you and angrily stomps
away.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Twilight Town Day 4
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Once in the sandlot, the struggle match tournament will begin.
First up is Hayner. Speak to the board coach, then the fat man that
announces the show.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Duel: Hayner
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Don't even bother collecting orbs, just knock them all out of
Hayner, and make sure you have more than he does though. When you
win, speak to the fat announcer again to take on Vivi.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Duel: Vivi
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Vivi's struggle weapon can grow to extreme sizes, just keep attacking him
though. Make sure you have more orbs then he does.
Once Vivi has lost, he will turn into a Dusk, more of the white creatures come
to help out as well. Fight them all, there will be some new ones that duel
wield sharp spiky weapons, hit there weapons when they start swiping them from
under ground. Sometimes they will just explode for no reason. Once they are
dead, an organization member comes into view, he removes his hood. You should
recognize this to be Axel. He is upset that Roxas doesn't remember him. He
pulls out his spiky wheel weapons and readies himself for a duel.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Duel: Axel #VIII
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Axel controls and manipulates fire powers. The best way to win this duel is to
corner him and keep attacking, He is nimble and likes to move around. He throws
his weapons at you and they unleash a fiery wrath upon you, try to avoid that.
Win the duel and Diz will show up.
Diz is an apparent enemy to Axel and the other members, angrily Roxas shouts
out his friend's names and time continues. Speak to the fat guy to start your
last struggle duel.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Duel: Setzer
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Setzer wants you to let him win, if you do he gives you a crappy amulet, so
just beat the crap out of him. He isn't hard at all.
Winning allows you to see what has happened to Kairi from Kingdom hearts 1.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Twilight Town Day 5
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Much like I do, the group has waited for the very last days to do there
homework assignment. Once in the train station, enter the train. In Sunset
Terrance, you're looking for the seven wonders of Twilight Town. Start your
first one by examining the wall in the back of the alley way. Note: Wonder #1
is already given.
Wonder #2: Large orbs will be flying out towards you. Guard them or hit them to
stop them from hitting you. Once you reach the back hit triangle to stop the
orbs.
Wonder #3: Enter the concourse and approach Vivi, kill all the Vivi clones.
Wonder #4: Examine the decorative waterfall to fight an anti-Roxas. Kill him,
he isn't strong or anything.
Wonder #5: On the hill, approach the bag, hit triangle to start riding on it,
hit triangle to hop over the trash cans.
Wonder #6: Go to the hill and look for the train, must have the previous ones
done before this.
Wonder #7: Once the others are done, go to the mansion to see a girl in the
window (Namine').
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Twilight Town Day 6
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
You will easily see, you can't be seen by your friends anymore, it is like you
don't exist or anything. Go out into the back alleyway to meet up with your
"best friend" Axel. Of course Roxas' memory is completely gone, he doesn't
remember himself being the evil 13th member or anything. Kill the creatures
that Axel brings up. When they die, go to the mansion.
Once in the mansion. Kill the Creepers and Dusks, search the bottom floor door
to find some items. Kill the Assassin creatures and Dusks. On the top floor,
head through the door to the left. In here you meet up with Namine' she has
chained together Sora's memories, but he is uncompleted without his other half,
Roxas. Diz takes her away. Exit the room and enter the one on the other side of
the hallway. Enter the lab to see a cutscene. A door will open. Enter it.
Kill all the enemies in this room. Once they are gone, Axel steps in. Roxas now
remembers his whole past, he remembers his weapon that he wielded during his
time with the organization. He duel wielded the Oblivion Keyblade and the
Oathkeeper Keyblade. Axel angrily illuminates the room on fire. The floor
becomes a burning ember, and Roxas gains his organization powers back. He pulls
out the Oblivion and Oathkeeper.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Axel #VIII
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Immediately unleash your Keyblade powers on Axel. Once you hit him in the air,
press triangle and the two of you will air duel, press triangle when Axel fends
you off to dive to him and pin him against the ember floor, this will get rid
of it. He is fast moving like before and likes to throw his weapons a lot. Soon
he will jump into the fire surrounding the area, he will jump out and a trail
of fire will follow him. Press triangle as quickly as possible to jump into the
air and throw one of the Keyblades at him. Continue beating the heck out of
him. Since you have your powers back you are very quick and powerful. When you
defeat him. He gives up. Roxas agrees to still be his friend, and Axel
disappears.
Head into the next room, here you will see Donald Duck and Goofy in little
sleeping cold storage tanks. Head out into the next room to awaken Sora from
his pod like structure.
Sora awakens from the pod and meets Donald and Goofy. When Jiminy opens up his
journal he reads out what is written in it, "Thank Namine'"
Now that you are playing as Sora, exit the mansion's front yard to get into the
Usual Spot where you meet up with Hayner, Pence and Olette. Head to the Station
Plaza, many of the white creatures decide to attack you. Fend them off for as
long as you can. Mickey will eventually arrive to save you. He gives you a
money pouch and tells you to board the train.
Once inside, speak to Donald to get into the train. The train takes you to the
secret twilight Town Tower. Open up the chests and approach the fat guy
blocking the door. You will realize this is Pete, Donald and Goofy's arch
rival. He is trying his best to find Maleficent. When Sora announces that she
is dead, Pete gets angry and summons a bunch of Heartless.
Yes, I know, the Heartless are finally back, it took long enough. These are
only shadows though. Defeat them all to get inside the tower. Simply climb up
the tower collecting chests on the way. On each floor you will have a Heartless
battle. The soldier Heartless got upgraded, they are now yellow. Perform the
Reaction Command to do a spiral slice through out the room to kill the
soldiers. When you finally reach the top, you will meet Mickey's former master
Yen Sid.
Yen Sid explains that when a person turns into a heartless, the soul that gets
left behind turns into a creature known as a Nobody. The most common form of
Nobody is a Dusk. Very strong hearted people that turn into Heartless create a
Nobody that is very unique looks human and takes on characteristics of there
former host. There have only been 13 Nobodies that have ever been known to do
this, and they formed an organization known as Organization XIII. 5 of the
members have already been eliminated, another one awoken Sora (Roxas), and the
other one seems to be falling away from his other allies (Axel). So think of it
as only 6 real threats left. He gives you a book to read, it is really
pointless to read. Talk to Yen Sid and he will give you permission to enter the
next room.
In the next room, three fairies decide to make you new clothes. When you get
them, you are able to wield two Keyblades at once. This is called Brave form,
AKA Valor Form, but here it is called Brave. You have 4 other forms to come
your way but you get them throughout your journey.
Return to the previous room, the stupid fairies remember Maleficent and she is
resurrected. Talk to Yen Side and he will hive you your Gummi Ship.
There is one option available and it is Hollow Bastion.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Hollow Bastion
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Once in Hollow Bastion, you will see that a town has been built with it.
Everyone from Traverse Town has moved back into there home. Continue through
the market and you will see a Moogle. Moogles synthesize items so you can make
new items. Talk to Uncle Scrooge if you wish by the ice cream shop. Continue
down into the town.
Here you meet Yuffie, but you're Nobody friends come back. You will be
surrounded by a number of Dusks and a few assassins. Kill them and meet Yuffie
in the house just around the corner. Once inside you will meet Leon, Aerith,
Cid, and Merlin. Leon leaves for the bailey. Leave the house and continue
through the town. Many Heartless roam these streets, once you get into the
bailey, an army of Nobodies try to break past the gate into the town.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Mini Battle: Nobodies
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
You will have to protect the town gate. Leon will assist you in this. Keep
majority of the Nobodies away from the gate so they can't damage the gate. Leon
can stay a far distance because he shoots them with his Gunblade. Eventually
Leon will make his sword grow into an enormous length. Keep attacking the
Nobodies. A new Nobody will appear, it is supposed to resemble Roxas. They duel
wield long swords and are very quick with them. Hit the reaction command to do
a one on one duel with them. Time will slow down, when you see a highlighted
icon appear on your command box, quickly hit it to slash through the Samurai
Nobody.
The Organization will appear, the last seven members appear, all with
their hoods up so you can't see your face. After sometime with
conversing with the leader, they all leave. One however stays to
torment you. He is very rude and I will tell you now that his name is
Xigbar. He is the second member and it seems he never got along with
Roxas to begin with. Once he is gone, Sora will open a new path for
some new worlds.
Once on the Gummi ship, head towards the world on your left, you will need to
fly through the obstacles first.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Beast's Castle
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Once in this world, you will be in Beast's Castle. In the parlor you will have
to fight many Heartless, this is a fun chance to use your Brave Form.
Eventually, Beast will come in, and he is not happy. He backhands you and pimp
slaps Donald and Goofy. He takes his rose and leaves. Head up into the East
Wing to meet up with Bell, she explains that Beast is going mad and locked up
the rest of the people living there. So exit, fight the Heartless in the
hallway, and enter the West Wing. Scan the wall for the giant wardrobe blocking
the doorway. You will have to hit triangle to push her to the side. When she
starts to wake up, leave her alone. When she stumbles into a deep sleep again,
start pushing. When the doorway is cleared, enter and your next objective will
be a mini boss.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Mini Boss: Thresholder
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
You will need to attack the Thresholder's middle part where the two Heartless
meet. He first will set up two Gargoyle Heartless to attack you. After that he
sends out Bat Heartless. Keep attacking the weak spot, stay close to him, he is
powerful at a distance. When the health depletes, push triangle to release the
possessor. Attack the possessor, when it gets halfway depleted, it will fly
back into the Thresholder. You will have to beat the Thresholder once more so
you can deplete the last of the health for the possessor.
Now you can rescue the rest of the people, or inanimate objects. Go back into
the previous room and speak to Cogsworth. He will let you into a new secret
tunnel. You will need to hurry up to the three lanterns and press triangle to
light them, you will to destroy crates in the way. Now you will be gained
access to the hallway that leads to Beast's room. Head into the room to start
another battle. You will see Beast talking to an Organization XIII member.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Battle: Beast
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Press triangle over and over to make Cogsworth stun him. Quickly attack him.
Don't let Beast hit you, he is powerful. Hit triangle and Cogsworth will keep
stunning him. When Beast is down, press triangle as fast you can over and over
and Cogsworth will send a huge energy blast at Beast.
Beast will gain his conscience, he explains that the organization member was
named Xaldin and he was intimidating him and almost controlling him. Xaldin is
number III in the organization, right over Xigbar. Head all the way back to the
East Wing. Speak wit the Wardrobe, then go into the main hall. Enter the
ballroom to start a boss fight.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Shadow Stalker
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
The Shadow Stalker is a more elaborate version of a dark ball Heartless. The
Shadow Stalker will disappear into the far wall. Dodge his energy blast. When
he comes out the wall you can get a few hits off him, but he quickly goes into
the chandelier. Stay a safe distance to ignore the energy blasts, when the
chandelier stops, go up and attack it until it runs out of health. Press
triangle to release the Shadow Stalker. Now is your chance to get some more
hits off of him. Soon he will go into the floor, when you see a pink orb appear
under you, jump to escape the floor from swallowing you. The Shadow Stalker
will exit the floor and move into a pillar. Target the one he went into, all
the pillars will reach out and scrape the floor, dodge this, when they stop,
attack the Shadow Stalker one, when it runs out of health press triangle to
release it. Now is your greatest opportunity to attack him. When he runs out of
health, he will transform into a new monster known as the Dark Thorne
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle 2: Dark Thorne
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
The Dark Thorne will turn invisible so you will be attacking an invisible mass
in front of you. Either he will pick you up and throw you, when he does this
time a reaction command to grab a pillar, spin around it and launch the
Keyblade at him. This will make him visible. Or in the middle of fighting him,
a reaction command will come up. Press triangle to jump on him, then onto the
chandelier, press triangle to make it drop, then once more to cause it to spin,
this will hit the Dark Torne and make him visible, attacking him while he is
visible is actually harder. He throws little possessors into the ground that
like to jump out under you. He likes to twirl a lot too, you will see him
twirling a lot, and this is annoying and powerful. Use Beast's limit to rob him
of some health. When he is defeated, you will have beat the first half of
Beast's castle, the other half comes after you beat half the game.
Sora will open the new path, but before you go to the new path, go to the world
a little above Beast's castle to the right.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
The Land of Dragons
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
This also is a new world for you. If you haven't already figured it out it is
Mulan's world. You will meet up with Mulan and Mushu. Mulan will be under the
alias as Ping. The will be some chests right off to start. Head to the
encampment. Once here Donald and Sora get into a fight with all the other men
enlisted in the army. Once the scene is through speak to the captain and pick
one of the three missions.
000=-=-=-=000
Mission #1
000=-=-=-=000
Surprise Attack:
For this, all you need to do is keep your morale gauge from depleting. Kill the
Heartless to receive morale. When all 15 Heartless are dead, you will
successfully passed your first mission.
000=-=-=-=000
Mission #2
000=-=-=-=000
The Ambush:
For this, all you need to do is keep your morale gauge from depleting. Kill the
Heartless to receive morale. When all 15 Heartless are dead, you will
successfully passed your first mission. (It is exactly like the first one but
with new Heartless)
000=-=-=-=000
Mission #3
000=-=-=-=000
The Search:
This one differs from the previous two, you will have to hurry up and find the
Heartless, and they will be hiding in the camp area. Your morale still will be
up though. Luckily you only need to kill 8.
Be sure to complete all three missions, and then speak to the captain once more
to get your new assignment. You will have to clear a path in the mountains to
reach the small town near the summit. You will be facing several Heartless
along the way. Head through the checkpoint and start up the mountains.
There will be big bulky Heartless so be prepared, I suggest saving your Brave
Form for later use. Head up to the rocks and press triangle to bat away at
them, press triangle once more to bash through the rocks. If a Heartless hits
you during this, it will not work. Make sure all Heartless are away from you or
dead. Don't bother collecting treasure chests along the way, complete the whole
pathway before the morale runs out.
Once in the snowy village on the mountain top, proceed through the hidden cave
near the far right of the area (slightly past the village). Once in here, the
evil Hun Shan-Yu will challenge you and Ping. You will have to face off several
Heartless. This is where brave form comes in handy. There will be a lot of
Heartless so be prepared. Once this is done, exit the cave only to find that
Shan-Yu has burned down the village. Proceed to the summit. Up here all you
have to do is survive Shan-Yu's horrid Heartless army. They are all airborne so
you will have to jump. All you have to do is survive in the time given. Be sure
to do reaction commands. Once this is done, you must return to the checkpoint.
NOTE: Be sure to grab all chests that you missed on your way back down the
mountain.
Once in the checkpoint, head to the palace. Outside you will need to fight many
Heartless again. These shouldn't be too hard. Once you are done head up to the
Palace gates to find Shan-Yu. NOTE: Mulan will be in your party by this time,
she has a good limit.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Shan-Yu
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Shan-Yu will be trying to break through the Palace gates. You can't let him
damage the gates too much or you will lose. He sends his hawk after you so you
might want to take him out first. Shan-Yu is over all very easy. When he tries
to overpower you, press triangle rapidly to push him back then strike him. Keep
a good eye on the Heartless hitting the Palace Gate. Shan-Yu has his own little
drive form like thing. He will grow dark and shadowy and move very quickly and
rapidly, this wears off soon though. Once he is defeated you will gain a new
Keychain called the Red Dragon. It isn't that good though, so keep the Kingdom
Key.
Sora will open a new pathway. However you will automatically be pulled into
Hollow Bastion.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Hollow Bastion / 100 Acre Wood
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Approach Merlin's house, He will give you the 100 Acre Wood book. Go up to
Donald and press triangle to enter the book. Once in the book, be sure to
gather all the chests around Pooh's house. Speak to him, he remembers you quite
well, suddenly you are thrown out of the book. Several Heartless have stolen
it. Outside the house kill them all to get back the book. Once you have the
book back go up to Donald and pres triangle to re-enter the book. Talk to Pooh
only to find out he has completely lost his memory. It is up to you to restore
it, unfortunately you need the five pages the Heartless took. NOTE: These pages
are found in various worlds. Leave Hollow Bastion and go through the newest
Gummi Ship obstacle, then go to the Olympus Coliseum.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Olympus Coliseum
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
At first you will end up in the Underworld Entrance. Speak to the Greek lady
that has fallen down, her name is Megara. She speaks of Hades, the old foe from
the first game that was never vanquished. Continue into the chamber directly
behind her, then into the tunnel. Here we see an Organization XIII member
running around. He seems pretty cowardly. We will get back to him later.
Continue down this long twisted pathway. NOTE: The path splits, but it joins
into one again. Keep moving forward, in the next little save spot room, we will
see the cowardly organization member yelling, "Run away!"... The stupid coward.
Strangely a large purple orb will appear on the wall with a picture of the
Mirage Book (AKA Zexion's book). Yeah weird right, the guy that died in Castle
Oblivion suddenly has his book on the face of an orb. However since you're in
the Underworld, it won't do anything yet. Continue through the fissure in the
wall to get to the Valley of the Dead.
Climb up the winding pathway and into Hades' chamber. Here he brings out Auron
(FFX). Auron refuses to work with Hades, resulting in you taking on Hades by
yourself. Go ahead, take a shot at him, you won't do anything. After a few hits
you will initiate a cutscene. With Auron in your party, climb down the Valley
of the Dead. You will have to kill the Heartless before proceeding along the
pathway. Use Auron's limit to ease your way through. Once you arrive in the
save room, the Zexion book orb still won't do anything. Retreat all the way
back to where you found Megara, before you get there you will face Cerberus.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Mini Boss: Cerberus
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Cerberus will leap whenever you get far away and will rapidly spin around if
you are behind him. So it is best to dodge his biting attacks. He will leap
every so often; luckily you get Auron to assist you. Stay focused on the middle
head, when the two side heads trap you press triangle to evade the attack,
press triangle again to jump over Cerberus' heads, then press triangle once
more to strike him so hard he is stunned temporarily, Now is your chance to
inflict the most damage. Use Auron's limit too.
Once you defeat Cerberus, head up to the actual Olympus Coliseum and approach
the lobby to meet up with Hercules. Head into the arena and talk to Phil. Now
you will need to complete two training courses.
000=-=-=-=-=-=-=000
Training: Practice
000=-=-=-=-=-=-=000
You will need to break the pots and collect yellow orbs off from the ground.
Collect 20 orbs in 1 minute and 30 seconds.
000=-=-=-=-=-=-=000
Training: Maniac
000=-=-=-=-=-=-=000
You will need to break the pots and collect yellow orbs off from the ground.
Break bigger pots for bigger orbs. Hit a big pot into many little pots to make
many big orbs. Collect 100 orbs in 2 minutes.
Be sure to complete both training events. Speak with Hercules, he says he will
get an amulet that allows you to do drive and be more powerful in the
Underworld. Unfortunately the organization member from before stole it. Head
into the Underworld. Head into the new entrance. Ahead lays a maze of fog.
Don't worry, fall right through, it is easier and the only way. Make your way
forward, you will be brought up out of the maze and into a large room with the
organization member right in the middle. He takes off his hood. He is boy well
into his teenage years with a metal rock hair style, his name is Demyx. He
calls you Roxas, but Sora doesn't even know who Roxas is yet. Demyx isn't the
best of fighters and he is cowardly but he uses his strategies wisely.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Mini Battle: Demyx #IX
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Demyx can control and manipulate water. His weapon is... a guitar...Anyway,
once he starts rocking, he has power over water. An army of water figures will
attack you. Destroy them all in under the given amount of time. Use the
reaction command Wild Dance to destroy a lot at once. Once you destroy his
forms he will be off. Doing this will award you the amulet thing.
Head into the next room and free Megara, enter the light to start a fight.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Mini Boss: Pete
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
You will have to fight Pete while defending Megara keep attacking Pete until
his health is halfway depleted, Hercules will jump in, and Pete will gain all
his health back. Now whenever Pete uses an orb shield, use the Pinball Reaction
Command to hurl Pete at Hercules. Just beat the oblivion out of Pete. When you
finish, you will be one step closer to beating this level.
Head back to the Coliseum, which now is completely destroyed by the Hydra.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Fight: Hydra
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
The Hydra will have about two bars of health, seems easy right. Attack the
head, but dodge the fatal and deadly bite and lunge attacks. Get him down a
little health and this will stun him. Run up to his neck and press triangle to
slice off the head. Hydra will stick his neck in the ground. Three more heads
will pop up from the ground. Run onto the Hydra's back and press triangle, Phil
will through you a pot, press triangle to smash it on the Hydra's back. All the
heads will be stunned. Run over and attack a head until it runs out of health.
Press triangle to cut it off. Whenever the Hydra's heads regain conscience, run
back on the Hydra's back and do as above to stun him. After a number of heads
are defeated, he will pull them all out of the ground at once. Now it will do
magic, little lightning blast things will trail you around every once in a
while. He will lower three heads at once for you to fight. Pick on one, they
all affect the same health bar. Use the reaction command to hop aboard Pegasus
and you will fly around. Press triangle to slice at a head every time you get
near one. When the health is completely depleted, go up to the base of all the
necks to cut them all off at once.
You will successfully have completed this chapter of the Olympus Coliseum. If
you feel up to it, return to the Zexion orb. Now that you have the amulet, go
up and press triangle, an option will come up, select the bottom one. This will
bring you to Zexion's Absent Silhouette. You will be on Destiny Islands, the
place where he was last fought and defeated. The Zexion book orb will be in
front of you. POOF! There is Zexion! He will be eagerly willing to challenge
you.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Zexion #VI (OP)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Zexion has come back for revenge in a mental state of matter I guess. These
battles are optional, but worth doing. Zexion carries his spell book in his
hands and will flip through the pages. He will be gliding very quickly around
the scrap of Riku's Island. It is almost impossible that you will beat him now,
you have to be at a good level to beat him. It is best to have the slide dash
ability, it is useful to catch up to him. His only attack will be turning you
into books. First he will do one of your party members, then the other, then
finally you. You can free your Donald and Goofy from the books by attacking the
books that hold them captive. Once you are turned into a book, you will be the
book world. Zexion will be hiding in one of the books, target the one that
casts red barriers over it. Zexion in his book form will smack you causing your
command menu to turn into a book. Hit O on the highlighted icons and press
triangle to flip through the pages. Hitting icons will give you health, mana,
blocks you from attacks, and eventually frees your command menu from the book
state. Hopefully you kept Zexion targeted, go up and hit the book until it runs
out of health, then press triangle to bring you, Donald, Goofy, and Zexion out
of the book world. Now is your chance to do more damage. Brave form is useful
here along with Goofy's Knocksmash limit. Keep it coming on him, when you are
turned into a book, you will have to face the book world again. Zexion
eventually will be teleporting between three spotlight areas, choose the one
you think he will stop on. If you are right you get to attack Zexion, if you
are wrong, he will attack you. During the rematch, when you get turned into a
book while in the book world. Rapidly press triangle, you will break out of the
book and the book world.
Anyhoo... Whenever you are done, feel free to go to the new available world, no
Gummi Ship flying courses are needed. Enter the Disney Castle world.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Disney Castle
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Follow the steps and leave the hangar to get to the castle courtyard. A number
of chests can be located in this area, along with many Heartless. Once you are
done fighting or gaining treasures, head through the only door located in a
corner of the yard. Follow the pathway killing the shadows if you wish, enter
the castle library and speak with Queen Minnie.
Donald and Goofy leave to inform the rest of the castle of the news. Be sure to
get to the giant chest located near the corner by the door, this contains some
of the 100 Acre Wood pages. With Minnie, you will have to lead her to the King
Mickey's throne room. Press triangle to call her over from a distance. Press
triangle near her to make her do a powerful energy blast. When you get to the
door, press triangle to open the door.
Of course a number of Heartless have infiltrated this room as well.
Continuously move forward and call Minnie, then press triangle to make her do
the energy blast. Once you get to the throne press triangle and Minnie will
reveal a secret passage way.
Once in the Hall of the Cornerstone, You will discover a mass of evil thorns
wrapping around the walls of the room. Look familiar? Maleficent is up to no
good now that she is back. You will need to talk to Merlin, so with the saving
spot, quickly go to Hollow Bastion, speak to Merlin, and he will warp you back
to Disney Castle. He makes a door appear that brings you back in time. Press
triangle to enter the door.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Timeless River
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Don't worry, your eyes will adjust to the new black and white old cartoon.
Donald and Goofy will appear in there 1930's advertise. The sound will be
muffled too, it is all normal. You will see an old Pete cartoon walking around.
Follow him to the Pier and speak to him.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Mini Battle: Pete
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Pete will not be hard at all, he will run aimlessly around half the time. Press
the reaction command to spin him around. No need to go into Brave Form, it
isn't worth it, just keep attacking him until his health depletes fully.
Once back by the Cornerstone, you will see 4 doors in which you need to enter
and fight Heartless.
000=-=-=-=-=-=000
Building Site
000=-=-=-=-=-=000
Some hammer shaped Heartless will be attempting to destroy the platform, attack
them, the platform soon will start shaking and forcing you up in the air. Once
in the sky you can do a reaction command to help you. You will have a crisis
bar, if it fills up you lose. You will win if you kill all the Heartless.
000=-=-=-=-=-=000
Lilliput
000=-=-=-=-=-=000
You will be in a small town, some Heartless flying planes will start
destruction in the town. Go up to the cannons to perform a reaction command. Be
careful that the Heartless do not inflict damage on you, they are powerful. You
will have a crisis bar, if it fills up you lose. You will win when you kill all
the Heartless.
000=-=-=-=-=-=000
Scene of the Fire
000=-=-=-=-=-=000
You will be in front of a building that is on fire. Not only do you have to
kill all the Heartless, but you have to prevent from fire entering the building
by attacking it. If the fire gets into the building your crisis bar will build
up, if it fills up you lose. You will win when you kill all the Heartless.
NOTE: Do not misjudge the car Heartless.
000=-=-=-=-=-=000
Mickey's House
000=-=-=-=-=-=000
You will be in Mickey's house, not only do you have to kill the Heartless, but
you have to attack the black hole that is sucking up his furniture. Every time
furniture is lost, the crisis bar will build up, if it fills up you lose. You
will win when you kill all the Heartless.
Be sure to complete all the challenges above. Now it is time to fight the real
Pete. Head to the waterway. The real Pete will have the cornerstone on his tug
boat.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Pete
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Pete will throw three items at you. Press triangle to hit them back at him.
Continue this until his health runs out. The tug boat will swerve and hit the
side. Hit triangle to grab on to the pulley, now is your chance to attack the
crate. When the reaction command comes up, press triangle to hold on to the
pulley so you don't fall off. Eventually, Pete will try to steer out again. He
will throw the objects at you, repeat the whole process until you have broken
the crate holding the cornerstone.
Follow Pete over to the wharf to initiate a new battle.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Battle: Pete (2)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Very simple battle. Attack Pete nonstop, he will roll explosives on the ground,
punch a few times, and hide in a shield. He will bring you through the four
previous challenges. You will fight him in Mickey's house, the scene of the
fire, the Lilliput, and the construction site.
Once you are done, Sora will lock the door, you will return to Disney Castle.
Maleficent's plan has failed, the thorns will retreat, and you will have gained
a new form. Wisdom Form is now available, if Donald is in your party, call up
the second of your drives and your Keyblade will turn into a gun. You are able
to do magic this time around, you are much more agile and hover a little bit
off the ground. Enter the Gummi Ship and fly to the new world, NOT ATLANTICA!
You will have to go through a flying route though.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Port Royal
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Once again, a new world. This no doubt is a Pirates of the Caribbean world.
Head down to the stairs of the rampart. Pete will be back in business, this
time making a deal with the evil Captain Barbossa's. Attack his fellow pirates,
after a while of inflicting no damage, the moon will come out, as skeletons you
will be able to harm them. Magic is very useful against them. Once the pirates
are dead, head into town to find Will Turner.
Will is surrounded by Heartless, take them all out, and then feel free to
explore the town. Many crowns and treasures can be found here. Head to the
docks to meet Captain Jack Sparrow. After the cutscene, talk to Will and go
with the second option. Upon the ship talk to whoever is at the steering wheel,
a map will come up, hit the picture on the bottom.
Pirates will ambush the ship. Fight them if you want experience, but there is a
trick to this. Go inside the cabin, come out, the pirates will be gone. Talk to
the driver again an hit the icon, you will be brought directly there.
Once on Isle de Muerta, follow the pathway. You will see everyone run out, you
now have to hold back the pirates for a couple minutes. Eventually you will
head back to town, unfortunately, the pirates want the medallion you hold.
Do not let the pirates take the medallion, if they do, you have a limited
amount of time to get it back. Defeat the mass amount of pirates to win.
Barbossa isn't happy though, he ties you up and plans to blow up the ship. Jack
will free you of the rope, head outside. Heartless will be guarding the
explosive barrels. Kill them if they try to harm you. Press triangle by the
barrels to get rid of them. Once all the barrels are gone, you will win.
Talk to whoever is manning the boat. Return to Isla de Muerta. You will see a
similar orb like the one Zexion had. This one has a picture of the knives that
are owned by Larxene. Go ahead fight her if you want, the strategy is after the
Barbossa Boss fight. Head into the cave. Make your way through until you reach
the treasure room.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Fight: Barbossa
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Barbossa will call out his Heartless helper, the room will darken. Search
around the room for a pair of bright yellow eyes. The Heartless known as the
Illuminator will be on one of the walls. Attack the lizard to make light return
to the room. Now is your chance to get Barbossa. He tends to go after Jack, if
Jack loses all his health, you lose. When he does come after you, a Reaction
Command will become available. Press it and Jack will swing you in the air.
Press triangle again to smash Barbossa. Next, Barbossa will try to shoot you.
Press triangle to step on his sword, press triangle again to strike him back.
Use Brave Form, it is very useful. He will keep calling out the Illuminator,
this time the stupid lizard will hop from wall to wall, catch up to him and
defeat it to continue the fight with Barbossa.
Congrats on the battle. Now you have two more world options. Head to Agrabah.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss Fight: Larxene #XII
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
At first Larxene is very hard, but soon she will be easier than you thought.
She controls lightning and wields yellow knives. She is an up close fighter so
watch your back. Immediately she absorbs a large bolt of lightning. DO NOT try
and attack her! The lightning will hurt you. She will flash to the far end of
the arena except there will be two of her, jump out of the way as they will
quickly charge right at you. She will appear on the ground, attack her briefly
because clones of her will sneak up behind you and viciously claw away at you.
Get two combos on her, on the second combo while she is falling back, a
Reaction Command will appear for a split second, quickly press triangle to
throw Larxene in the air. Sora will automatically grab another Larxene and
throw her at the one in the air, they will morph together. Larxene will be
unable to get out clones for a while and she will pretty dizzy. Quickly attack
her, this is one of your most opportune moments. Whenever her clones start to
gang up on you, be quick to make them one again by the reaction command. Wait
too long and they will spin around you caging you in a wheel of Larxenes. They
will quickly form into one Larxene and lightning bolt right on your head.
Larxene will eventually gather about four clones and charge right at you. After
every charge, quickly hit either of the two Larxenes in the middle of the arena
to stop the charging attacks. Eventually Larxene will start spinning in the
middle of the room with VERY HUGE lightning bolts shooting out her arms. (Think
Hades and his spinning fire attack). After you survive her desperation attack,
keep attacking her and the battle should be yours.
Anyhow, whether you decide to fight her or not, soon you will have to exit and
you will have two more world options. DO NOT go to the Atlantica world yet. Fly
to Agrabah.

Agrabah
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
So basically the stupid greedy peddler has found Jafar's lamp. Anyway, when you
start out, you will immediately have to fight some new Heartless, including a
new type of bandit Heartless. Defeat them and Iago will meet you. Iago
supposedly has turned good.

Cavern of Remembrance
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Ok, so you have discovered the new area in Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden. This
is basically an underground cave that holds some "Data" secrets. Directly in
front of you, you will see a little balloon thing. Hitting it will release
drive orbs. You should have a high Master form and Final form by now, so make
sure you have at least a level 2 aerial dodge and level 2-3 glide ability. Jump
up onto the small rock platform behind the drive balloon. Step inside the huge
fissure to initiate a very minor cutscene. At the base of this cavern, are some
high level Heartless, along with some chests containing all sorts of prizes.
Make your way across the pillars, hold out your jumps and aerial dodge if it is
needed. There are two ways of making it through this first part, first you jump
across the pillars, or cross the base and find some easy platforms to reach the
white door. Once you get to the white double doors, enter. You will be in a
narrow part of the cave. Dead ahead are some pipes that you will need to glide
through. Jump up, glide, you will hit one pipe, immediately aerial dodge, and
keep gliding to reach the other side. Once in here you will be pitted against
some powerful Heartless. Defeat them all, when you are able to go through the
white doors, take a small detour to the left somewhat before the doors. This
will take you back to the first area that was unable to reached. Destroy the
large rock in front of you so you are able to reach this place faster if it is
ever needed. Continue down the new path and you will reach three mechanical
machines. Start attacking the wheels, its health will grow back, once one is
far down enough attack the other wheels, get one down to one HP and the other
ones without there full HP to start up the machines. Backtrack to the new white
double doors. Go through the doors to get to the mining area.
-Mining Area (Cavern of Remembrance)-
All the mining machines will be moving if you correctly started them up. Stand
on the moving platforms to access new paths, a big load of chests lay hidden in
this particular area. You will have to ride the wind to reach high platforms.
Make your way through the huge mining obstacle and you will another white
double door. Enter it. You are in a similar area, you will have to fly through
some more pipes. Glide, and you will hit the pipe wall, you will slowly lower,
right when you go under the door, aerial dodge to reach the pipe platform. Jump
over to the other side to start another big Heartless battle. Fend them off,
and then go through the white double doors.
-Mineshaft (Cavern of Remembrance)-
You will now be in the mineshaft. Numerous varieties of Heartless will attack
you nonstop, the moving shaft floors don't help much either. Proceed forward,
you will have to jump from onto these two tricky hard to reach platforms to
reach the upper area. Once up there, grab the chest to the left and continue
down the shaft way. Heartless will keep attacking you and steam will shoot out
of pipes randomly causing disruptions with your performance, when you reach the
end of the line, make the quick turn around the wall and make it to the end of
this shaft way. Hop onto the gate, then onto the right platform that gets you
to the uppermost area of the shaft. Hop from platform to platform until you
reach the double doors at the end. Once again you will have another pipe,
gliding obstacle. There will be a huge wall keeping you from entering the white
double doors. To the left will be a pathway, glide and fly through the pipes to
reach the white double doors. Enter it to get into a hallway similar to Castle
Oblivion.
-Hallway of Remembrance (Cavern of Remembrance)-
Step forward an instantly many very powerful Nobodies will challenge you.
Defeat them all and continue down the corridor. Take the left, then right to
initiate another Nobody battle. Now it gets tough, it seems they won't stop
coming, after they are defeated walk towards the last huge white double door.
Then the hardest battle will come, they will seem to come forever, just keep
attacking, this could be longer than a number of boss battles combined. Once
you are victorious, enter the door.
-Garden of Assemblance (Cavern of Remembrance)-
You will be in an outside area, don't worry, you are done with the level, this
is the reward you get for it, well kinda. Go down and access the computer to
create data portals. These allow you to fight data versions of Organization
XIII. Not all of them will appear at first, you might have to leave and come
back later, but yes you eventually will get them all. (Xemnas, Xigbar, Xaldin,
Vexen, Lexaeus, Zexion, Saix, Axel, Demyx, Luxord, Marluxia, Larxene, Roxas)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Boss fight: Lexaeus #V
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Good old number 5 will appear in the exact arena in which you saw Larxene in.
(You fight them wherever they died in COM) Lexaeus has his axe like tomahawk,
and since Riku isn't around with dark power, he puts up for a tough fight.
First of all you will both get power meters which measure your power. Sora
starts off with a hundred. As for the rock guy, he summons the strength from
the earth. (He controls and manipulates earth and rocks/boulders) His strength
will be ridiculously high and he will be powerful. Luckily he hasn't a lot of
moves. So, basically when you see him steadying a direct horizontal slash at
you, guard, counter, or reflect it. Doing this will copy his power bar to
yours, since you already have a 100, you will always be higher than him. Press
triangle and you will use that power to hit him and take a good chunk of his
bar. Acting to slow and you won't gain any power. After you hit him you go back
to 100. His second basic attack is easily recognizable. He throws his axe in
the air and when he catches it, he slams in on the ground a number of times.
This makes large pieces of rock shoot up from the ground directly beneath you.
Though this won't cause much damage, it is best to have a high jump and aerial
dodge. After every attack he is still for a brief second, so start to attack
him. Sooner or later he will gain more power, he will run directly at you. His
attacks are faster and stronger now. Be sure to guard his horizontal slash.
Randomly, you can't control it, he will grab you and throw you on a pillar and
take his axe and do a critical hit, or he throws you in the air and smashes you
on the ground. When he powers up for the fourth time, he will do his worst
attack yet. He flees off the arena, a large amount of energy will be around
him. He will resemble a large meteor charging right at you, quickly roll then
jump. When he hits the arena it is goodbye. Massive boulders will just rocket
out of the ground, the impact is so powerful it will even screw the screen
image up a little bit due to the tremendous noise and large rocks. If you
survive, which you probably should if on full health, he will fling a line of
showering boulders at you numerous times. Get up to him and guard him. It is a
long battle. There is nothing new he will do, keep attacking and you will win.
