The story is confusing,but you can learn it if you complete the game.

BASIC CONTROLS
--------------
Here's a layout of the basic controlls.
Note:You can change the controlls in the option menue.
X-Gas/Accelerator
Square-Brake/Reverse
Triangle-Rearview
Circle-Siphon Boost

L1-Drag Turn
L2-Use Power-up
R3(Right Analog)-Siphon Boost

There are 5 controll settings.A default and 4 options.I prefer using
Option 1,since it lets you use the D-Pad for steering while having
an easy button layout.

ADVANCED CONTROLS

Stunts/Tricks
-------------
Performing stunts is the key to winning.Why?Because it fills your
Boost meter whenever you perform one.Linking stunts together creates
a combo,which gives you bonus Boost energy.The higher the combo,the
more energy you get.Combos can have up to 8 tricks for the bonus.
You don't recieve a bonus for going higher than 8 tricks.
Since the game doesn't tell you exactly how to do stunts,here's a
full list of the stunts I have found.
Ground Stunts:
Left,Right,Left.
Right,Left,Right.
Right,Down/Right,Down,Down/Left,Left.
Left,Down/Left,Down,Down/Right,Right.
Mid-Air Stunts:
All the above tricks can be used,with the inclusion of full rotations
on the D-Pad/Left Analog.
In order to perform stunts,you must first hold down R1(default),
then rotate the controls accordingly.If at anytime you let go of R1,
you will stop the trick,regardless of whether or not you finished it.
This can be dangerous when flipping,since you may not be lined up
properly to land straight.
Note:You cannot steer while holding down R1.

Turning
-------
Turning can make or break you,so it's best to know the best tactics
in a turn.You'll notice that if you take a turn too hard,you start
to skid across the track.You can do a few things in this situation.
You could slide into the wall and lose time and speed.You could also
slow down to regain controll while slowing enough to let others pass
you.Or you could try to use a small Boost to send you flying forward
to regain controll while sending you ahead of the pack.

TRACK TACTICS

Using the track as a weapon
---------------------------
The best way to win is to play dirty.The only charecters you should
"play dirty" with are the ones with high Mass.If you ram a smaller
racer hard enough,you can drive them into a wall,or worse yet,a hole
or barricade.

Know your path
--------------
The most important thing to remember is where certain things are on
a track.Run a track in Practice Mode to learn the layout.Knowing
where the crystals are will increase your chances of winning.

POWER-UPS
---------
In order to get a power-up,you must collect either 5 yellow crystals
or 1 purple crystal.Yellow crystals are scattered all over the track,
but purple crystals are usually in out-of-the-way places or on an
alternate route.
The following is a list of power-ups and what they do:
30% Boost-Increases Boost meter by 30%.Auto use.
Super Boost-Replaces Boost meter with a new one(noticeable by color)
that allows you to go faster than a normal boost.
Disappeares after a short time.Stunts will not fill the
Super Boost meter.
Infinate Boost-The name says it all.Boost meter spins while active.
Disappeares after a short time.
Burst Attack-Sends a magnetic wave outwards from your racer that
slows down anyone it catches.You'll know you hit
someone when you see an electric line shooting from
your racer.Works best in a group.Disappeares after
use,or if you get another power-up.
Drafting-Allows you to siphon Boost energy from any racer closely
in front of you.Lasts for a short time after activating.
Disappears after it runs its course,or you get another
power-up.

Pressing Circle will allow you to choose the alternate version of that
character.
The stats are in bar form,so I created a 1-10 scale to make it easier.

To unlock the bonus tracks,you must come in first place in all races
for that season.To unlock the hidden characters,you must come in
first place on the bonus tracks.Once everything is open,you will get
the "ending",which tells the story of the kinetic suits.
