1.1 About The Game
-------------------
Kamen Rider Seigi no Keifu (also known as Masked Rider Genealogy of Justice)
is an Action/Adventure game for Sony PlayStation 2 by Banpresto. It was
released on the 27th of November 2003, but was only ever released in Japan.
The game plays and feels a lot like the Resident Evil/BioHazard games, but
what makes it stand out is that it features characters from the Kamen Rider
(aka Masked Rider) franchise.
The Riders you can control include Kamen Rider 1 and 2, V3, Black and Agito
and you must battle your way through a Power Plant Complex containing a horde
of enemies and solve some puzzles along the way, before reaching the final
boss.

1.2 About This FAQ
-------------------
This FAQ may contain minor spoilers so I will not be held responsible for any
displeasure it may have caused your gaming experience. You have been warned so
read this FAQ at your own risk!
This FAQ is a guide to help people acquire all 50 Monster Files in Seigi no
Keifu. For every Monster File you collect, their respective page is added in
the Museum, which can be accessed from the Main Menu of the game. For each
file you've collected, you're able to view a description of the specific
Monster you've faced in Story Mode and you may choose to have a free battle
against them.

1.3 Version History
--------------------
Version 1.0 (23/07/2007) - All Monster Files complete! Hopefully there's no
need for an update unless there's an error somewhere.

2. MONSTER FILE LOCATIONS
==========================
In each chapter up to Chapter 5, I will list the Monsters in order of battle
encounter and how you can obtain their file. There is no right order in which
you should collect the files but I will do my best to put them in order of
convenience. Files you might have missed in earlier chapters are still
acquirable in later chapters, as long as you're able to access that part of
the area where that file is located.
Some files are added automatically during Story Mode e.g. Shocker Combatants,
and some files can only be acquired by meeting special requirements
e.g. achieving a certain Rank after completing the game. These files will be
covered in section 2.7 "Other/Special Requirements" of this FAQ.
In general, a Monster's file can only be obtained after defeating that
Monster. However there is an exception with Dokuganda's file, which you're
able to acquire before battling him. Some files can only be obtained when your
character is in "Human" form and I will add a special note for these cases.
It's not possible for all files to be collected in one playthrough of Story
Mode. This is because at some points of the game, you're able to choose which
Monster you'd like to face, although it's sort of concealed because it depends
on the routes you take and in one instance, where you don't operate a machine
(refer to section 3 "Secrets" of this FAQ for more info). Therefore you will
always omit encountering at least 4 Monsters in any single playthrough of
Story Mode. More information will be provided for these cases under the
relevant chapter.
--------------
2.1 Chapter 1
--------------
[Semiminga]
On the shelf opposite the fish tank in the Head's Office.
It's the room up the small stairs from the Central Control Room.
[KamikiriKid]
Examine the missiles opposite the rifles in the Armory.
The Armory is the same place where you just battled Kamikirikid.
*NOTE: you must be in "Human" form.
--------------
2.2 Chapter 2
--------------
[Sasoritokages]
In the locker in the Transformation of Electrical Energy Room.
This is the same place where you just battled Sasoritokages.
*NOTE: you must be in "Human" form.
[Isoginjaga]
Examine the gas cylinders on the shelf in the Gas Laboratory.
It's just up the stairs from where you are after the cutscene
has ended as soon as you've defeated Isoginjaga.
--------------
2.3 Chapter 3
--------------
[Girugarasu]
On the coffee table in the Head's Office of the Central Control
Room (the same room where Semiminga's file was).
[Namazugira]
Examine the electricity units up the mini steps at the Distribution
of Electricity Plant. It's the same place where you just battled Namazugira.
[Zangeor]
Achieve a rank of B or more in V3's Motorcycle game.
It will be automatically added to the Museum once you achieve this.
[Kamisuton]
Examine the machines on the right as you enter the Command
Room (the same room where the previous chapters came to an end).
--------------
2.4 Chapter 4
--------------
[Eikingu]
Examine the boxes on the shelf next to the A2 door on the
second floor of the Main Entrance Hall.
[Hachi-Onna]
See section 2.6 "Chapter 6".
----------------------------
2.5a Chapter 5 (First Half)
----------------------------
From this Chapter onwards you're able to select which Rider you want to
control, therefore I will not list these in any particular order as it may
vary from the order in which you encounter the Monsters. But after the
Monster's name, I will now state the relevant Rider who you must use, in order
to acquire that Monster's file.
[Dokuganda] {Kamen Rider 1}
On the barrels at the side of the hut at the Stone Quarry after
the motorcycle game ends.
*NOTE: this file must be acquired before beating Dokuganda, otherwise
you won't be able to access this area again once you've defeated him.
[Shiomanekingu] {Agito}
Examine the machine to your right (Agito's left) as you enter the room
at the back of the Sea Base. It's the room where you start the 3 minute
self-destruct countdown procedure.
*NOTE: this file cannot be acquired once you've initiated the
self-destruct sequence.
-----------------------------
2.5b Chapter 5 (Latter Half)
-----------------------------
Monsters listed together means you can only acquire one of their files in a
single playthrough. It depends on who you encounter between the two, see
section 3 "Secrets" for information on how to choose who you want to battle
against.
[Arumajirongu]/[Kumo-Otoko] {Kamen Rider 1}
Examine the television in the Conference Room of
the second floor of the Main Entrance Hall.
[Sarasenian] {Kamen Rider 1}
On the barrel at the end of the Underground Passageway
beyond the A6 door of the Turbine Room.
[Gosuta] {V3}
On the barrels in the second floor of the turbine room.
It's at the end of the balcony walkway.
[Hirugerira]/[Namekujira] {V3}
Examine the public telephones at the Main Entrance.
*NOTE: you must be in "Human" form.
[Utsubogamesu] {Black}
On the yellow pipe to your left (Black's right) as soon as you go through
the door on your way back from the Gas-making Plant in the Underground
Passage tunnel (same place where you battled Utsubogamesu).
[Washikamakiri]/[Ganikoumoru] {Black}
On the desk in the small room on the second floor of the Turbine Room.
It's the same place where you found the Jumper Cable in Chapter 2.
[Haetoribachi] {Black}
Examine the lockers in the room (room with a vending machine) on
the ground floor of the Main Entrance hallway.
[Imorigesu] {Agito}
On the mine cart at the end of the rail track in the Underground Passage.
It should be just ahead of you after the cutscene when escaping from
the Sea Base has ended.
[Mimizu-Otoko]/[Girizamesu] {Agito}
Examine the forklift truck at the end of the B2F Passage.
[Shidoragon] {Agito}
On top of the barrels directly opposite the door to the
Turbine Room on the B2F Passage.
--------------
2.6 Chapter 6
--------------
[Hachi-Onna] {Kamen Rider 1}
Examine the machines on the left (next to the stairs going down) in
the Command Room. It's the same room where you battled Hachi-Onna
at the end of Chapter 4.
-------------------------------
2.7 Other/Special Requirements
-------------------------------
The following Enemy Group Files are added automatically to the
Museum once you encounter them in Story Mode:
[Shocker Combatants (bone type)]
[Shocker Scientists]
[Shocker Combatants (black type)]
[Shocker Combatants (red type)]
[GelShocker Combatants]
[Gelshocker Scientists]
[Werewolf Monsters]
[Reinforced Combatants (black)]
[Reinforced Combatants (red)]
[Saboteguron] and [Hell-Chameleon (transmigrated)] do not have a file. Once
you encounter them in Story Mode, their description will be automatically
added to the Museum but there's no option to battle them. This is most likely
due to the fact that you cannot battle them in Story Mode anyway, as they only
appear in cutscenes.
Likewise with [Colonel Zol], [Doctor Shinigami], [Ambassador Hell] and
[Black Shogun], you can't choose to battle them as they only appear in
cutscenes. But their descriptions will still be added once you encounter them.
Note that these four are in fact the "human" forms of [Okami-Otoko],
[Ikadevil], [Garagaranda] and [Hell-Chameleon] respectively.
The following Monster Files can be acquired by doing "X" number of
Killer Technique moves to finish off a Monster boss:
[Zangeor (reinforced)].............5 times or more;
[Isoginjaga (transmigrated)]......12 times or more;
[Sasoritokages (transmigrated)]...19 times or more.
The following Monster Files can be acquired if you have achieved
the necessary rank after completing the game:
[Okami-Otoko]................rank E or higher;
[Hell-Chameleon].............rank D or higher;
[Ikadevil]...................rank C or higher;
[Garagaranda]................rank B or higher;
[Evil Eye (complete form)]...rank A or higher;
[Evil Eye (ultimate form)]...rank S.
*NOTE: it's not possible to achieve an S rank in Normal Difficulty Mode.

3. SECRETS
===========
*How To Access The Hidden Bosses*
Girizamesu:
In Chapter 1, don't operate the device in the small room of the Pool area
beyond the A6 door of the Turbine Room (it's the place where you knock down a
Shocker Scientist to obtain the Elevator Keycard). You'll fight against
Girizamesu instead of Mimizu-Otoko in the first half of Chapter 5 as Agito.
Ganikoumoru:
End Chapter 2 without using the secret elevator in the Central Control Room.
You'll fight against Ganikoumoru instead of Washikamakiri in the first half
of Chapter 5 as Black.
Namekujira:
End Chapter 3 without using the elevator in the B1F Passage. You'll fight
against Namekujira instead of Hirugerira in the first half of Chapter 5 as V3.
Kumo-Otoko:
Go to the Transformation of Electrical Energy Room without visiting the Main
Entrance Hall, before you go to the Gas Laboratory as Kamen Rider 2 during
the first half of Chapter 5. You'll fight against Kumo-Otoko instead of
Arumajirongu.
*Unlock Old Kamen Rider 1 and 2 Costumes*
After you clear the game once, start a new game. You will now be given a
choice between two different costumes for Kamen Rider 1 (his old outfit or his
new one). Whichever selection you make will alter Kamen Rider 2's costume as
well, so if you chose the old outfit, Kamen Rider 2 will also be in his old
costume and likewise if you had chosen the new costume.
*Final Boss Ultimate Form*
After clearing the game once, start a new game. You will now be able to fight
against Evil Eye's ultimate form. Defeat him once in his normal form and then
he will evolve to his ultimate form where you must defeat him again to
complete the game.

4. Q & A
=========
Q. Where are the Monster Files for KamikiriKid, Sasoritokages, Hirugerira and
Namekujira? I've examined the places according to your FAQ but I still
can't find them!
A. You MUST be in "Human" form to be able to obtain these files.
Don't ask me why though, because I have no idea lol.
Q. Help! I can't get a better rank than an E in V3's motorcycle game but I
really want to get Zangeor's file. Any tips?
A. The main thing you should focus on is the total time you take to complete
the 3 stages. Try your best to look after your health bar. I'm guessing
that most people have problems with the first part where you have to knock
down a number of Combatants on motorbikes. My advice is to quickly
accelerate then brake really quickly. Also you might like to keep an eye on
when the Combatants are moving to one particular side of the track, this
helps to give you an indication on which side of the road the obstacles
will appear on.
Q. I've already defeated Dokuganda but I forgot to get his file. How can I go
back to the Stone Quarry to get it?
A. You can't. Once you've beaten Dokuganda there's no way of going back to
the Stone Quarry. You'll have to start a new game unless you have a save
file before defeating him.
Q. I've missed Shiomanekingu's file and I've gone beyond the first half of
Chapter 5. How can I go back to the Sea Base to get it?
A. You can't. Once you've activated the 3 minute self-destruct sequence at
the Sea Base the only way is to start a new game, unless of course, you
have a save file before activating it.
Q. I'm trying to get the last file of Evil Eye (ultimate form), but why
can't I get an S rank no matter how fast and well I beat the game?
A. You MUST play Hard Mode in order to be able to achieve an S rank.
